We are hearing of calls for a debt jubilee. Well, a bail out is a debt jubilee for some that is paid by others.

If people hadn’t complied with the quarantine orders that have been issued by various state .gov’s, we’d have 100,00 dead instead of ~13000 as of 0800 this morning and we’d have 3 MILLION cases instead of ~400 thousand.
History has shown that quarantine is the ONLY WAY, short of having a magic bullet appear at the same time as the disease, to STOP the spread of contagious disease. This has been a recognized strategy since from almost the same time as humans started organizing into communities.
As an example of the effectiveness of quarantine in the current pandemic, look at the difference in disease cases between NY State and City and the WHOLE of California. CA implemented quarantine early on. Currently, at the time of this writing, CA has ~18000 cases and 485 dead. NY state has ~149000 cases and 6268 dead. NY State delayed quarantine orders and in NY City STILL TO THIS DAY have mass ridership on their subways with the riders breathing airborne and touching contaminated surface resident disease.
NY City is in fact killing itself because they’re too stupid to temporarily give up their lives for the greater good.
So, I think the contention of this article that quarantine orders are UNLAWFULL is the same stuff that makes the grass grow green and comes out of the south end of a north bound bull.
