As the U.S. government continues to expand surveillance and monitoring systems to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars within the borders of the United States, a recent announcement regarding the country’s southern air defense systems is raising eyebrows.
Our southern border is, in part, protected by the Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS), which utilizes moored balloons hovering at about 15,000 feet to identify low flying aircraft and missiles that may penetrate the border and cross into U.S. airspace.
The system is utilized by the U.S. Air Force, North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), and U.S. Customs and Border Protection for a number of missions including detection of drug smuggling and preservation of the air sovereignty of the continental United States.
According to Exelis Systems Corporation, the company that built and jointly maintains TARS with the U.S. Air Force, the government has ordered a complete shutdown of Aerostat flight operations:
The government also indicated its intent that aerostat flight operations will cease on March 15, 2013, and that the remainder of the fiscal year will be used to deflate aerostats, disposition equipment, and prepare sites for permanent closure. We are currently reviewing all the details of the RfP and evaluating the possible impacts on the program and our workforce. We continue to communicate with the government on this matter, and we will have more information in the coming days and weeks.
An Exelis employee close to the TARS project had this to say about the closure of the sites:
“Not only will this closure mean hundreds of people will be out of jobs, but it also means our borders will not be safe, especially along the remote U.S. Mexico Border like in Texas.
These defense radars detect low flying aircraft infiltrating our borders.
Without these defense radars, low flying aircraft will go undetected.
It will be open season for any drug/gun/slave smugglers, terrorists flying in with nukes, low altitude missiles, or even a full scale low elevation invasion/attack against America.”
With China actively and openly deploying Russian-made low altitude strategic bombers, designing EMP weapons capable of disabling the country’s power grid infrastructure, and establishing economic zones within the United States, it’s difficult to imagine the motivation behind the move to further weaken U.S. air defenses on the southern border.
If September 11, 2001 was any indication of our air defense capabilities, and considering that any ground invasion of the United States would originate on our southern border, then wouldn’t we want as many early warning systems as possible to be actively protecting our country in these specific areas?
The U.S. government has chosen to shutdown this outward facing surveillance system, and has instead turned the surveillance inward, on the American people.
Well this tactic makes Obama’s 2009 fly-over the NYC Twin Tower region sensible. I wonder if he plans to do another fly-over now. You know….just to give ’em the “all’s clear” signal….

noname; How correct you are. Several points on the OP. 1. They aren’t stopping surveillance, as you said they are replacing the TARS system with an updated radar. The TARS is currently carrying an L-88 or L-88 (V3) radar, which is an older traditional L-band radar with a multi-tracking look-down, low altitude capability and a range of 200nm. It is being replaced with an EL/M-2083 Phased-Array radar. The new radar can, do multi-track intercepts, guide multiple launched guided munitions (rocket interceptors), has almost twice the range, can do high and low altitude missions concurrently and can track a “significant” number of targets. A real improvement. While it does feed NORAD, it is a SECONDARY feed. It is (the system) mostly used for drug interdiction. 2. The Tu-22M3 is a mid 1970s era plane. There’s a reason the Russians sold it to the Chinese, they quit building it in 1993 and only have 80 or less functional aircraft. They used it mostly for maritime missions, although they don’t use them much at all, anymore. Yeah, the Chinese can build all the brand new 1976 aircraft they want as far as I’m concerned. Now, that’s not to say that the planes aren’t dangerous to second tier countries or dangerous in a maritime role. I think they just want them to sell to other countries, more than use them themselves. Manned bombers, while not completely obsolete, will not penetrate the southern border. There are OTHER assets that have been in place for years that take care of that mission. 3. While I certainly agree that EMP weapons have the potential to cause a 90% death rate, it will wind up being world wide, not isolated to the U.S. The U.S. would take that as an act of war and respond in kind. Yeah, China lobs one or two in here and can turn the clock back to the 1700s in about 3 minutes. Course Karma is a bitch and she’ll be pissed. 20 MIRVed SLBMs (one submarine, 200 warheads) coming back over the earth in return would make it not worth the effort to the Chinese. They would have a 95% death toll in less than 25 minutes. Small nuclear type EMPs are VERY difficult to produce that are dependably accurate on EMP yield. And none of that has anything to do with the Russians getting involved, just out of self defense. 4. I doubt 9-11 is an indication of our actual air defense capabilities. China does have nuclear weapons, but their best, at this time, are their land based ICBMs, not their SLBMs. China, from submarines, is NO threat to the U.S. Also, China and Russia are not allies. China could really bloody our nose, but they would cease to exist, if they pushed the issue. Their strategy is to “make us blink”. If they can do that, they win, but that is a political issue, not a strategic issue. If not, well it would suck to be Chinese. It’s probably a harbinger of sell-outs to come. But Senate GOP Leader
Mitch McConnell is apparently about to conclude an agreement with
Majority Leader Harry Reid which would sell out pro-gunners and decimate
minority rights under the Senate rules.
This change could occur as early as Wednesday. If enacted, it could
handcuff pro-gun forces and keep them from defeating the most radical
initiatives aimed at restricting our Second Amendment rights.
The first of two changes would allow Harry Reid — and only Harry Reid
— to circumvent the hurdles that the minority could use to slow down a
controversial gun control bill.
As you may remember from the fight over the anti-gun ObamaCare bill, the
filibuster of the “motion to proceed” is the last point where
pro-gunners can delay a bill before Harry Reid can bribe Senators and
buy votes with deals like the infamous Cornhusker Kickback.
If Reid follows this procedure, McConnell could offer two “germane”
amendments on behalf of Republicans. But given the willingness of
Democrats to destroy the Senate rules by brute force, you can expect
them to drastically limit what amendments would be considered “germane,”
thus restricting the ability of the minority to effectively filibuster
an anti-gun bill.
The second Reid-McConnell amendment would make it virtually impossible
to stop a bill from going to House-Senate conference committee.
Currently, if pro-gunners suspect that Democrats intend to take a tiny
bill and write comprehensive gun control in a House-Senate conference,
they can stop the bill from going to conference and require that it be
bounced back-and-forth in an amendable form — what is known as
ping-ponging — between the two houses.
But this Reid-McConnell change would allow Reid to force a conference to
prevent the minority from, once again, stopping gun control legislation
from being written in a conference committee and crammed down Senators’
throats on a take-it-or-leave it basis.

Until the ‘soul’ or ‘spirits’ can be observed with the microscope (or any other detection device) and quantified by the scientific process, I do not ‘believe’ in such things.
In fact, due to the ‘interpretation’ aspect of religious rituals or traditions or beliefs, it is certifiable to think that a religion should be placed in a position of authority.
At what point do you cross the line from something being a devine act to being just plain crazy?
As this is America, we are a nation of immigrants, a melting pot. There currently and always has been several different religions being practiced within our borders. To single one out is entirely unfair and UNCONSTITUTIONAL. That is why government has no business in religious affairs and religious affairs have no business in the government.
Religion is not a science, there is nothing factual or repeatable in religious assumptions or assertions. Only tradition. Something like that is an aberration that cannot be pinned down and specified. Because of that, NO ONE will EVER live up to another’s religious expectations.
Even among the same religion, sects break out and people begin infighting. Of course this type of thing is not limited to religions.
However, religion is a very personal thing. How one prays, believes, worships is and should always be a personal matter. Otherwise who are you doing it for?
But ultimately, If I believed in a ‘higher power’ it would be energy. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, it just changes from one form to another, it is eternal. When I die, my minerals will be reacquired by the soil and transmitted back to the multitude of beings that still manage to exist on this tortured planet (thanks to our species).
The earth is a gift, whether from god or from the observed processes of interstellar accretion, it is the only home we have. When people tell me in the same breath that we shouldn’t care about the planet because it is paganism or something stupid like that and then that they believe in god, I shudder.

I want to make a couple more observations before I call (my contribution to) this conversation over but first I want to apologize for referring to religion as a fairy tale. People like Timothy are a disease infiltrating our schools, our government, our political correctness and ultimately our children’s beliefs and values. Anything goes in this society and there are barely any boundaries left. The athiests say they do not want to shove their beliefs down our throats yet they pay for signs on busses, tunnels, bridges and billboards denouncing God and what he stands for. This disease will never enter my home and I pray never my children’s beliefs. Atheists want to take away the one thing that keeps so many children and adults on the straight road.

Show me also where it says there is an absolute separation of church and state? I have been involved in atheists civil rights for almost a decade. What you preach is utter misinformation. The constitution was based on reason (for the most part, remember slavery was still commonplace) not all of the founding fathers were Christian, many of them were deists.
If you want to know what judeo christian values are, maybe you should actually READ the bible, not the warm and fuzzy parts your preacher tells you to read, but the whole bible, all the wonderful parts that encourage the following behaviors.

It always amazes me how many times this God orders the killing of innocent people even after the Ten Commandments said “Thou shall not kill”. For example, God kills 70,000 innocent people because David ordered a census of the people (1 Chronicles 21). God also orders the destruction of 60 cities so that the Israelites can live there. He orders the killing of all the men, women, and children of each city, and the looting of all of value (Deuteronomy 3). He orders another attack and the killing of “all the living creatures of the city: men and women, young, and old, as well as oxen sheep, and asses” (Joshua 6). In Judges 21, He orders the murder of all the people of Jabesh-gilead, except for the virgin girls who were taken to be forcibly raped and married. The God of the Bible also allows slavery, including selling your own daughter as a sex slave (Exodus 21:1-11), child abuse (Judges 11:29-40 and Isaiah 13:16), and bashing babies against rocks (Hosea 13:16 & Psalms 137:9).

Law Contradictions of the Bible:
10) Shall we obey the law? Romans 13:1-7 says quite clearly that Christians are to submit to the law and regard it as the institution of God. 1 Peter 2:13-14 “Submit your self to every ordinance of man … to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors.” Matthew 22:21 “Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s.” Also see Titus 3:1. Matthew 23:2-3 & Ecclesiastes 8:2 This leads one to assume that Christians must and should obey the law, yet look at these verses which contradicts what I just sited. Acts 5:29 “We ought to obey God rather then men.” Exodus 1:17-20 shows God punishing the midwives for following their rulers instead of God. Also see Daniel 3:16-18, 6:7-10, Acts 4:26 & 27, Mark 12:38-40, Luke 23:11, 24 & 33-35 which all say the law should be ignored. Now we know why Christians get away with their selective morality so often.
11) Should we steal? (Exodus 20:15 & Leviticus 19:13) Stealing is absolutely forbidden. Yet, Exodus 3:21-22, 12:35-36 & Luke 19:29-34 all promote stealing.
12) Should we judge? Jesus is quoted in Matthew 7:1-2: “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged.” Also see Luke 6:37 & 1 Corinthians 5:12. Now take a look at “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment” (John 7:24). Also note 1 Corinthians 5:12 & 6:2-4.
1 3) Should we covet? Exodus 20:17 says, “Thou shalt not covet . . . anything that is thy neighbor’s,” while 1 Corinthians 12:31 says, “Covet earnestly the best gifts.” So, are we or are we not to covet?
14) Is lying okay? Exodus 20:16. Proverbs 12:22 & Revelations 21:8 all say lying is forbidden. Joshua 2:4-6, Exodus 1:18-20 & 1 Kings 22:21-22 all support lying.
15) Can we kill? Exodus 20:13 says “thou shalt not kill”. Exodus 32:27, Numbers 31, and THOUSANDS of other verses show God commanding us to kill.
16) Can we own slaves? Leviticus 25:45 “Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy … and they shall be your possession… they shall be your bondmen forever.” Genesis 9:25 “And he [Noah] said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.” Exodus 21:2 & 7 “If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing… And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do.” Joel 3:8 “And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the Lord hath spoken it.” Luke 12:47-48 [Jesus speaking] “And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes.” Colossians 3:22
“Servants, obey in all things your masters.” So obviously the Biblical God thinks slavery is right, right? Just look at these: Isaiah 58:6 “Undo the heavy burdens… let the oppressed go free, … break every yoke.” Matthew 23:10 “Neither be ye called Masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.” (Also see Exodus 22:21 & 21:16) Let it be known here that pro-slavery Bible verses were cited by many churches in the South during the Civil War, and were used by some theologians in the Dutch Reformed Church to justify apartheid in South Africa. There are more pro-slavery verses than cited here. I simply do not have the room to post all of them.
17) What about Improvidence? Improvidence is enjoined in Luke 12:3 “Sell that ye have and give alms.” also in Luke 6:30 & 35 “Give to every man that asketh of thee, and of him that taketh away thy goods, ask them not again … And lend, hoping for nothing again, and your reward shall be great.” Also note Matthew 6:28, 31 & 34. Improvidence is condemned in I Timothy 5:8 “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel. “ Also see Proverbs 13:22.
18) What does the law say about anger? Ephesians 4:26 says “Be ye angry and sin not not.” Anger is disapproved in Ecciesiastes 7:9 “Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry; for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.” Proverbs 22:24 “Make no friendship with an angry man.” Also see James 1:20.
19) Are we to let our good works be seen? Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works.” This contradicts verse Matthew 6:1 , “Take heed that you do not your alms before men, to be seen of them.”
20) Should we pray in public? 1 Kings 2:22, 54 & 9:3 shows the Lord is joyed by public prayer and listens intently. Matthew 6:5-6 condemn public prayer and command people keep it a secret.
21) Can we wear long hair? Judges 13:5 & Numbers 6:5 encourages people to grow their hair and insists it is a source of strength. 1 Corinthians 11:14 calls long hair a “shame”.
22) Should we circumcise males? Genesis 17:10 “This is my covenant which ye shall keep between me and you and thy seed after thee: Every man and child among you shall be circumcised. Clearly this demands circumcision, yet Galatians 5:2 says “Behold, I Paul, say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.”
23) Are there certain kinds of foods we should not eat? Deuteronomy 14:2-8 lists several animals that we are NOT to eat because they are “unclean”, “chew the cud” and “divide the hoof”. Yet Genesis 9:3 & 1 Corinthians 10:25 insists there is nothing we can’t eat. Romans 14:14 says: “There is nothing unclean of itself.”
24) Can we take oaths? Numbers 30:2, Genesis 21:23-24, 31, 31:53 & Hebrews 6:13 says that we can take oaths and encourages it. Matthew 5:34 says “swear (make an oath) not at all.”
25) Can we get married? Genesis 2:18, 1:28, Matthew 19:5 & Hebrews 13:4 all insist marriage is honorable. Marriage is disapproved and scorned in 1 Corinthians 7:1 & 7:7-8.
26) Can we commit adultery? Exodus 20: 14 “thou shalt not commit adultery.” Also see Hebrews 13:4. Now look at Numbers 31:18, Hosea 1:2 & 2:1-3 where adultery is advocated by God.
27) Can we drink alcohol? Proverbs 31:6-7, 1 Timothy 5:23 & Psalms 104:15 all encourage drinking and intoxication. Proverbs 20:1 & 23:31-32 discourage drinking and intoxication.
28) Do women have rights? Genesis 3:16 “And thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.” 1 Timothy 2:12 says a woman must not teach, remain silent and must be subjugated to her man. 1 Corinthians 14:34 & 1 Peter 3:6 both say that women have limited rights and are under control of their men. Judges 4:4, 14-15, 5:7, Acts 2:18 & 21:9 all tell of powerful women who were not subjugated by men and were not punished for their authority of men.
29) Should we obey our masters with usurped authority? Colossians 3:22-23 & 1 Peter 2:18 says we should. 1 Corinthians 7:23 “Be not ye the servants of men.” Also see Matthew 4:10 & 23:10 which say we should not submit usurped to our masters.
30) Was the law of the Old Testament destroyed by Christ’s crucification? Luke16:16, Ephesians 2:15 & Romans 7:6 says that the old law is no longer binding. Yet Matthew 5:17-19 and MANY other verses say that the old law is forever binding. If you want to see the many verses that command we follow the old law please consult the upper portion of this page.
31) Should we swear an oath? Numbers 30:2 “If a man vow a vow unto the Lord, or swear an oath…he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.” Genesis 21:22-24 & 31 “…swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me…And Abraham said, I will swear…Wherefore he called that place Beersheba [“Well of the oath”]; because there they sware both of them.” Hebrews 6:13-17 “For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself…for men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife. Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability ofhis counsel, confirmed it by an oath.” See also Genesis 22:15- 19, Genesis 31 :53, & Judges I 1 :30-39. So apparently it is okay to swear an oath, we even do this on the Bible in American courts. Just try and forget these verses: Matthew 5:34-37 “But I say unto you, swear not at all; neither by heaven…nor by the earth…Neither shalt thou swear by thy head…But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.”
James 5:12 “…swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.”
32) Do we keep the Sabbath? Exodus 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.” Exodus 31:15 “Whosoever doeth any work in the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.” Numbers 15:32-36 “And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the Sabbath day…And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the Lord commanded Moses.” Each of these contradict Isaiah 1:13 “The new moons and Sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity.“ John 5:16 “And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the Sabbath day. “Colossians 2:16 “Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy-day, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days.”
33) Should we make graven images? Exodus 20:4 “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven…earth … water.” Leviticus 26:1 “Ye shall make ye no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone.” Deuteronomy 27:15 “Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image.” Okay, I got it I shouldn’t produce a thing in fear of making a graven image, but wait: Exodus 25:18 “And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them.” I Kings 7:15-16 & 23-25 “For he [Solomon] cast two pillars of brass…and two chapiters of molten brass…And he made a molten sea…it stood upon twelve oxen … [and so on]”
Wolf, this is where it gets ironic. Tying the founding fathers into christianity IS THE REVISIONIST HISTORY. Our founding fathers detested christianity and said a lot worse than Timothy has. The founding fathers were part of the enlightenment. A movement that sought to remove religion and replace it with science, logic, and reason. They did believe in God as a creator, but not the biblical God. Show me where the name Jesus is found in the constitution or the Declaration of Independence. Americans never thought of our nation as ‘christian’ until the late 1800’s during the victorian era. ‘In God we Trust’ was never in the pledge of allegiance or on our money until the cold war as propaganda against an atheist enemy. Learn your history.

I have likened viewing the Bible in English to looking at the world through a pinhole. There is so much more to see, but, most people not being either smart enough or open minded enough either prefer to deride, defame and refute the Bible as it is in English rather than find out what it really means. (Be aware, also, that there are POLITICAL and SOCIAL agendas of the translators in there! Reading the direct translations makes that BLATANTLY apperant.)
The mistake you make is thinking that you know what you’re talking about. You do, in English, its just that the reality is that the English has crippled your understanding. There is always deeper study. I will warn you: if you study, you’ll get infected. Once infected, you’ll never be the same.
Jesus came to free the slaves but those silly slaves, thinking they were already free, thought Jesus came to chain them down. Slaves today are still thinking the same thing. I will enlighten you. the majority of our Founding Fathers were Christians. Read about George Washington, James Madison, John Jay, Alexander Hamilton, John Adams, Patrick henry, Samuel Adams and even Thomas Jefferson himself. He rejected christian mysticism but he heavily relied on Christian Philosophy.
Actually read what these men said. Read the Federalist Papers, read the letters between Jerfferson and Adams as they both were dying. Read the 5000 year leap. Ive read your saviors dawkins and hitchens so maybe you should read the opposite argument to actually gauge the meaning and of what the Founding Fathers said with CONTEXT.

Yes, some of the more prominent ones were what would be called deists although most were actually what would be legitimately categorized as agnostic Judeo-Chrsitians. THIS IS A CHRISTIAN NATION. Our FF would be shocked to even think that people would reject God (in general), much less Christ. A simple reading of the Declaration of Independence, leaves no doubt of that (God). Thomas Jefferson was probably the most esoteric of the FF as far as the belief in the COMMON established religions. His proudest achievement was the establishment of a NON-religious university in Virginia. And yet, he UNWAVERINGLY believed in a higher power, an intelligent designer. I wrote a senior paper (college, not 5th grade) on Jefferson and received the highest grade in the class. It was a world class paper. I have researched Jefferson and other FFs. You sir are wrong. The founding of this country is reflected in the Constitution and it’s first ten amendments. There is nothing remotely related in these documents that can be traced back to either the Old or New Testaments. If that were their intent, the would have put some biblical refencese in these documents. They did NOT. It was about islamic terrorists spreading the Marburg virus. This one terrorist went to a playoff baseball game and simply went to the area in which air was being circulated and started shaking this Marburg powder everyone. He had a protective suit on but ended up getting it anyway and biting an FBI agent in the movie to infect her also. I have not seen this movie since then, it might have been called World War 3, I just don’t remember.
This type of movie was very accurate about the dangers of bio-weapons. It had this one scientist with a benign powder explaining how when he released it into the wind if it had been a true biology agent that the city downwind would be infected within hours. There was too much truth in this movie and after 9/11 and the anthrax attacks this movie went into hiding never to be seen again except for those that recorded it. If anyone has anyway of seeing this movie, it is realistic horror of what could become real life.

If that hurricane had the time to build an eyewall it would have been Hurricane Katrina or Rita level coming to shore in NY while continuing to strengthen. Try 30 foot storm surge and 135 MPH winds. Read “Spillover”. There are plenty of germs to choose from. Anthrax will stick around fcenturies but Nipah or SARS is deadly and can spread person to person. I could see someone contaminating a feedlot or hog operation since these have little surveilance. Then the infection could spread across the country before it is noticed.

Interesting that you should mention weaponized smallpox.
This past week, my local PBS channel ran a documentary called “Outbreak: Anatomy Of A Plague”.
The gist of this program was the very real threat that smallpox would be.
As you may know, smallpox was ostensibly eradicated in the late 70’s. To my knowledge, there have been no documented cases anywhere in the world since then.
Since there is no longer any smallpox “in the wild”, nobody has been vaccinated for it in years. And they express serious doubts that even for us older folks who were, the immunity to the virus may no longer be viable.
According to this documentary, the only known stores of smallpox virus are at the CDC in Atlanta and in Russia. One of the scientists who worked with the old Soviet Union’s bio-weapons projects stated that the Soviet Union had been working on weaponized smallpox. He defected to the United States prior to the breakup. His concern is that it’s already out there. He said that there are hundreds of people out there who know how to work with the virus and he is very concerned that at some point, it will be released.
Personally….I have just as much concern, if not more, about our own government and the CIA (In case you haven’t figured it out folks, they don’t work for us).
The rest of the documentary dealt with how they would deal with a pandemic. And what I found interesting was how they stated that people who refused to be vaccinated might be arrested and detained (Can you say FEMA camps?) They also discussed how low we are on vaccine. And what we have has been in cold storage for over 30 years and they were concerned about its effectiveness. And they were also concerned that someone might “tweak” the virus so that the vaccines wouldn’t be effective anyway.
They went on to describe the economic effects and even how such a pandemic could bring down the power grid.
They talked about how they would go about containing the virus and preventing it spreading around the world, but that’s a pipe dream. Face it….if ANY virus that is as easily transmissible as smallpox…and as lethal…gets started, it’s going to move around the world so fast, there will be no way to stop it. There is no place in the world that is more than 24 hours away from any other place in the world.
Again….when you look at the goals of the globalists…that of reducing the world population, it is not a stretch to think that this is coming. This is no longer a matter of tin-foil-hat-conspiracy stuff. They admit that this is what they want.

The musloids (or US .gov) are not above infecting jihaddis (without their knowlege) and dispersing them on “missions”. The possible methods of dispersing bio-weapon megadeath (false flag or otherwise) are both endless and terrifing.

@ Gunsmith. You know my real calling in life is Earth and off Earth Sciences, but I really did a lot of reading on biological pathogens and I worry about many of them. Smallpox is the typical 10-14 day incubation period, but there is a variant called India-1 that has an incubation period of 1-5 days. The soviets combined Smallpox with Marburg, and tried to with Ebola. Ebola is very frail when exposed to sunlight and oxygen, but when spliced together with Smallpox it lasted longer and infected the test monkeys with both diseases.
The disease that practically no one hears about is Lassa Fever. This rodent based pathogen has been known to infect a person with as few as 3 individual particles. Smallpox and the flu usually take minimum of several hundred individual germs to cause sickness. There are several different variants of Lassa Fever that last well in air and could be made into an aersol and people that become sick are highly contagious to others. The fatality rate can be as low as only 1%, but the more virulent levels can approach Marburg rates of near 75%.
One really frightening thought that belongs kept in a science fiction horror novel is that someone has found how to keep rabies from dying when exposed to air. There has been only a few dozen people that have survived in all of history when they got the first symtoms of rabies. Even when given the serum when people are bitten by a rabid animal it is not always effective. If some North Korean was to splice together rabies with say the cold viruses or flu. I don’t even want to talk about this.
The one issue I hate about bio-weapons is that as long as they have a host, they have the fuel to continue to multiple and continue to spread. As long as a pathogen has a reserviour to hide in and stay dormant, it reamins waiting for that host to once again infect. Talking about Smallpox, I have longed believed that natural Smallpox is buried in some Smallpox victim in some dry area like in the Sahara Desert or American Southwest ghost town that is waiting to be unearthed for some reason to re-emerge as a natural plague once again. Viruses have this strange way of remaining dormant for decades or centuries, then bang they come back.
Putting away the evil bio-weapons, there really exists the likely possibility of some idiotic land developer bulldozing some gravesite where some Smallpox victim(s) died back even in the 19th century. Then someone working the site, usually people that don’t wash their hands gets this dried, but still barely alive virus into their bodies. Then Bubba gets sick, thinks he has Shingles or Chickenpox, no big deal, goes out drinking to feel better infecting a few dozen people. Bubba then goes home passes out and dies and no one thinks anything about. Several dozen people then infected travel all over the place and 10-14 days later they start showing up at hospitals very sick and most doctors have not even seen the disasese call it adult Chickenpox. Those that are smart enough let the CDC know and everyone assumes that there has been a bio-attack. The damage has been done though as it rockets around the world with air travel to so many with no immunity to it.
I worry big time about a super Andromeda Strain virus coming out of India or Bangladesh, as these places are the perfect petri dish with the filthy conditions and warm to hot tropical almost always moist conditions. Bio-attacks are a definite possibility, but old Mother Nature is what I also am really worried about. Too many life forms from plant to animal have reached what is called a peak in population and almost always disease thins out the population or causes extinction. One can read about all the lethal animal plagues on information sites. A super plague out of India could spread so quickly that it could kill billions with the air travel in days or weeks, way before they could come up with a vaccine.
Again, people seldom think about what pathogens can do. I could see a type of mild at first extremely contagious virus coming out of one of these hovel hells. Something that mimics the cold for the first 3-7 days, while the virus collects in every airways and continues to multiply until the airways collapse into complete necrosis. Something similar to the Bird Flu. In other words a virus that just keeps going and no antiviral or anything works with. Even a virus that affects every cell in the body, and keeps multiplying until the death of the host. Terror from nature.
Viruses are so different than bacteria as the Weather Channel described it in simple terms; bacteria lives outside the cells and viruses live inside the cell. mankind would have extreme difficulty surviving as a species if a RUNAWAY virus that goes after cells like described above. TRUE SHTF is a relative term that few in the media take with a grain of salt, and completely fail to address when it comes to bio-weapons AND natural pathogens. God, I have depressed myself tonight, especially while I continue to recover from one of the worst strains of flus in decades.

This IS the reason for getting rid of the balloons. The balloons required that you inflate,anchor, windout, windin, and deflate. The drones can move where you want them with very little prep. Neither works real well in a storm, but the drone is quicker to redeploy and can have offensive weapons. It also can follow slower intrusions and take them out. I guess if I worked for the balloon company, I would be upset.

I used to go down to Mexico a lot back in the 50’s and 60’s I went down there for the weed and friendships that I had down there. Those were beautiful times.
