Massive 60% Stock Market Correction Coming: “Period Of Extreme Turmoil”

by | Aug 28, 2014 | Headline News | 235 comments

Do you LOVE America?

The confidence game is almost up warns Prudent Bear Fund President David Tice. And when the economic recovery and stock market build-up is finally revealed for the conjecture that it really is we’ll have a sell-off of unprecedented proportions.

Markets could soon face a fall of up to 60 percent, two experts told CNBC on Wednesday.

A jolt to international confidence in central banks will lead to a 30 to 60 percent market decline, David Tice, president of Tice Capital and founder of the Prudent Bear Fund, told CNBC’s “Power Lunch.” When this happens, he said, markets will face a “period of extreme turmoil.”

This crash will be precipitated, he said, by a disillusionment with the Federal Reserve’s “confidence game,” which will then see inflation rise, and the Fed scramble to raise rates. At that point, Tice added, “the Fed starts to lose control.” (CNBC)

Buckle up, because there is no stopping what is coming. The signs for an impending catastrophe can no longer be ignored.

What happens next is anyone’s guess, but given the seriousness of the crisis in 2008, we should expect the entire bottom to fall out of not only stock markets, but the economy and the U.S. dollar as well.

It was so bad in 2008, in fact, that then-Secretary Henry Paulson claimed we were on the brink and even wrote a book about it.

According to Representative Brad Sherman, Congressional members were approached at the time and told to brace for a complete collapse of our financial system, to the point that tanks would have to be deployed on the streets of America if Congress failed to authorize the multi-trillion dollar bank bailout.

Many of us were told in private conversations that if we voted against this bill on Monday, that the sky would fall, the market would drop two or three thousands points the first day, another couple thousand the second day, and a few members were even told that there would be martial law in America if we voted no.

    House Representative Brad Sherman (D-California)
Debate on the House Floor, October 2, 2008

Since then, our federal government and military have had time to prepare. They weren’t ready for it then, but they are now, after having spent tens of billions of dollars on everything from ammunition and armored vehicles, to collapse war game simulations and hybridizing national law enforcement with federal agencies.

Moreover, new directives and field manuals have authorized the military to engage civilians to quell large-scale unexpected civil disturbances to the point that soldiers are legally allowed to fire upon and kill unarmed American citizens if government finds it necessary to stabilize the situation.

The primary scenarios outlined in government war games revolve around economic collapse, food riots, widespread civil disturbance and a complete breakdown of law and order.

Are you prepared for it? Catastrophe is on the horizon.

This is why the USSA continues to beat the war drums and militarize the Police around the country. Once the shit storm starts all bets are off when it all ends. But I can assure you this will rock the world.

A number of different sources have said a “market correction” is coming. The markets have been manipulated so much, it is difficult to say exactly WHEN this will occur.

            More news about this topic…

“The Buyback Party Is Over” – Albert Edwards Warns The “Market Is Now Running On Fumes”

“two landmark firsts have occurred only recently, with the S&P500 breaking above 2,000 and the 10y bund yield breaking below 1%. Our Ice Age thesis has long called for sub-1% bond yields and I see this extending to the US and UK in due course. It is the equity markets where I have been consistently surprised.

QE has been an essential driver for the equity market, providing the fuel for the heavy corporate bond issuance being used for share buybacks. Companies themselves have been the only substantive buyers of equity, but the most recent data suggests that this party is over and as profits also stall out, the equity market is now running on fumes.” – Albert Edwards

Only ways there can be a market correction is if the Fed stops printing $, the broker houses are disappeared, the traders are banned from trading, and the derivatives market is shoved up the ass of everyone who had there fingers in that pot.

I hope to have enough foresight to see it coming in time to get to the bank and withdraw my money.

I’d like the opinions of all of you as to what signs to watch for.

I just sidelined my retirement IRS’s 2 weeks ago. Not that I have a lot, but what I do have I am content to let sit in money market accounts instead of stocks/bonds. Obviously it is still at risk, but should be much less so. If I have to wait it out for 2 years, so be it. But I am confident in another correction soon.

                  • Tom

You are partially correct in my opinion. Yes, absolutely the market is due for a big adjustment, but it will be much more than a “correction” coming. (And yes, full disclosure -I’m an RIA)

Money markets are more dangerous than you know; many or most have sovereign bonds in them AND the government will restrict withdrawals in a panic or outright confiscation. There are no easy answers here. I have some suggestions for you to consider: email me [email protected]

At the beginning of 2007 I started to get really nervous about my 401K. I had just crossed the point where my net worth was (barely) positive, and the markets just didn’t feel right. I fretted about it until September of that year, when I finally made the decision, pulled the trigger, took the 10% penalty plus increased taxes for the year, took a full disbursement and settled all my debts except my mortgage.

It was a great call. Since then I’ve had personal stuff get in the way of getting ahead, done 2 household moves and am hopefully just finishing up a career change, after which I’ll be able to be more mobile, find a job in the hinterlands far easier and make probably the last move of my life.

For me, money market accounts in a 401K are not safe enough, nor do they give enough return for the risk involved. I’ve got a small emergency stash of cash, a small long-term stash of physical precious metals and that is it. Until I have maybe 2 years of living expenses (on top of 2 years of stored consumables) I will not be participating in the markets in any real way. I used to understand them at least somewhat, but I don’t at all anymore and I won’t risk my money on something that acts in ways I don’t understand.

So for me it’s storables, cash and PMs until such time as the markets return to sanity. Which is probably to say my child may someday participate in the markets but I’m not likely to again. This smells like the type of situation where whatever happens in the next few years will happen (and it will be epic), and “normal” times will take a long time to come back. So I’m only interested in things that will help my family through those times, and things that will definitely have value on the other side of it.

You still have money in the bank?

                  • Mr. Smith (Formerly Grafique)

Yes, I can’t do business without bank accounts. Some of my customers pay via Direct Deposit and some pay with credit cards – which goes directly into the bank account.

                • rascalhorse75

Mr Smith – I personally believe you’re looking at it right now. Pull it out today. Go purchase silver and more preps. Keep some cash at home too. GET OUT OF THE BANKS! If it’s not in your hands, it’s not yours!

                  • Mr. Smith (Formerly Grafique)

I’ve been buying gold/silver for a couple of years now.
I had some stocks a few years ago, but I learned my lesson there. Stocks are like Federal Reserve Notes – just paper, the value of which is dependent on someone else’s actions. I told my wife I’d never again invest any money over which I don’t have direct control.

In regard to your response: “Let’s use verifiable measurement instead of anecdotes from parties who have, shall we say, and “interest”.
Using very sensitive instruments the scientists can detect very low amounts of radioactive material from Fukushima in water along the Alaskan coast and down toward our Pacific Northwest, but so far it’s barely above background levels.”

Are these the same people that have been promoting ‘man-made global warming’? Please, do not for one moment think that just because someone writes a dated report (February, 2014) on a site called ‘live-science’ that you are getting the real dirt. These folks are themselves agenda driven and are getting paid big-time by the-powers-that-be to put out reports that are either down-right false or misleading, or support their narrative. Even their ‘scientific’ conferences are agenda driven and designed to support the current narrative.

I am disappointed in you if you think the mainstream media is shooting straight and telling the truth. The days when you could trust these guys is over. Question everything that the mainstream media and the establishment journals are reporting. The agenda of the left has tainted everything being said, done, published, and planned in an attempt to reinforce their narrative and realize their plans for conquest and control.

Thank God for Mac and sites like this that are willing to report and alert us of things covered up by the Establishment, NWO, and the TPTB. This eagle’s vision is still very clear and made clearer every day by a daily dose of the many great folks like you at this site. Thanks for your many otherwise insightful comments.

Mr Smith: I’ve been taking money out of the bank but every time I make a withdraw, direct deposit slaps more in acct. within a few days. Retirees understand this, meaning they should withdraw more cash. Suggest: eating out more, spending more (since money is worth less in value) replacing older appliances, plumbing fixtures, leaking windows, flooring, etc. Just replaced an older bicycle this week and got us two 2015 cars early in the month. IRA’s and 401K’s: all retirees and those close to ret. need to get out of stocks into bonds or regular mmkt, but not a mmkt mutual fund.

If a huge meltdown like this hits even bonds will not be safe as there will be no market for them. Especially treasuries when the Fed can no longer buy them.

NO ONE needs to buy or sell the snake oil, the FACT is why most people are broke ……more in the last 6-7 years….hmmmm. So from both sides…….who’s selling or buying in to all the lies…….the fact remains the US Dollar is worth less every day, and the average American who doesn’t make $100,000 feels it everyday…so it makes more and more sense to be prepared every day for truly appears to be coming…….that’s just common sense. And when you have a father who was born in 1929……and lived thur the Great depression….

There is virtually no buying volume in the market. The market makers have been relegated to the sidelines and insiders rule the day. Watch for the sell side to start picking up then get short. Might as well gamble on a couple of far out of the money puts. they are cheap and could pay a huge return providing the board of options settlements will still be solvent in such a meltdown. Just like a horse race with too many winning bets and not enough to pay them.

            “could” doesn’t mean they will.

“face a fall of up to 60 percent” usually things fall down not up

“What happens next is anybody’s guess” which is why the breathless predictions are made and then don’t come to pass, and then more are made, and they pass. How many times in the last five years has Celente made a definitive statement of a pending collapse and we are still waiting for the “event”?

            • Anonymous

Perhaps you haven’t noticed, Jezebel, but things have been getting steadily worse over the last few years– its true the bridge hasn’t collapsed yet, but experts can never predict the exact day or minute before a bridge collapses… they can point out that the old bridge is drooping, that the planks are broken in place, and that parts of the side bars are falling off and into the river below… but no one knows for sure the day or time… but that doesn’t take away from the fact that things are getting steadily worse and sometimes its scary as heck, because you are aware how things are deteriorating!

60% drop is recoverable. Even a 90% is recoverable as it has happened before. The real issue is a TOTAL COLLAPSE. Times are going to run much like they are now even with a 60% drop because we don’t even know where TRUE money is to begin with. 60% could be in real terms nothing as bad as people think because money has been so manipulated.

The thing to watch for is what happens BEFORE a total collapse. There almost certainly has to be a really big terrible event to take the attention away from an economic cave in. There is just too much power INVESTED in the monetary system making all of us slaves. This catastrophe is what everyone should consider preparing for. In the past it has been war. This time it could be a plague on steroids. Again, I would not take much worry in a 60% drop unless it just keeps free falling from there.

I stopped watching the stock market a few years ago. Just all too easily manipulated digits on a screen, even the phd mathematicians don’t seem to understand.

Instead I keep a beady eye on the Baltic Dry Index which tells me what tangible goods and products are being bought an sold globally. It seems far harder for the elite to manipulate beyond my comprehension. Any Mom and Pop shop will tell you that if people stop buying from their shop they’ll be out of business. The same is true of nations. Watching this has given me a far clearer picture of where things really stand than the stock markets from my simple perspective.

The Baltic dry index is a good weather forecaster for those of us who don’t have fancy degrees in economics or care to translate all those “expert” views into plain english. I’ll leave stock market speculation to those who can afford gamble.

                    My goals
                    – get out of debt including the mortgage – done, so I’m no longer a slave for the elite.
                    – sort out the basics for long term survival to be as independent of the whole damn corrupt system as I can manage.
                    – save silver coins that I can see, touch and smell as and when I am able.

Gold would be nice to have, but I’m not in a position to own that. I also have no illusions of a pension when I reach that age. For those under 50 it’s safe to assume that most of us will have to work until we drop or that our kids will have to support us as already happens in the 3rd world. Multi-generational living doesn’t seem like a bad option if it saves my child from becoming a 30 year slave to the system.

                  • FemaRegionIV

While the down turn is expected and is coming I believe the economic or dollar collapse will be allowed to happen once ‘they’ have the proper event or events to blame as the reason and then the loss of all Freedoms for security and services. The Patriot Act on Steroids will be presented along with the need to create a New Economic Union as the North American Union to compete. In the mean time the Planets population will be systematically reduced as mentioned by the various think tanks and foundations to 1-2 Billion Souls. Then the AI will take care of the rest a few years later. IMO

Hey Kula- So Texas can’t leave, but this one state can? Obama wants to unilaterally allow Hawaii to secede

President Obama wants to undo the Hawaii Admissions Act of 1959, and allow Hawaii to return to a sovereign kingdom, run by native Hawaiians. The idea is nothing new. For at least the last ten years, two Democrat senators from Hawaii have tried to pass legislation—the Native Hawaiian Recognition Act—accomplishing this. Congress has, correctly, declined to pass this, for many reasons, not the least of which is it would violate the 15th Amendment, and create a legalized racial class based not on treaties, but solely on blood heritage.

But Obama is unilaterally doing what Former Senator Daniel Inouye and Senator Daniel Akaka (D-Hawaii), could not get through Congress. The Department of the Interior has issued an Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to do exactly what the failed legislation set out to do.

Most Hawaii citizens do not want to secede. They certainly do not want to become a “Tribe” as the Sovereign Hawaii was a very multi-racial society. As Hawaians like the monarchy
(voting is such a pain), it explains why Hawaii is a single party Democrat iron handed ruled state. We are poor. If we secede we lose the American government “Teat”.
Besides there is a huge underground of illegal guns, drugs, and economy that won’t take lightly to new state interference.

Hawaii is not a state. It is an illegally occupied country. There has never been an annexation of the Hawaiian Islands to the US. It was a fraudulent takeover. What Senator Inouye and Senator Akaka have tried to accomplish is illegal and based on ethnicity rather than nationality and the fact that they are looking for Federal recognition rather than acknowledging that we are an independent, occupied country. In America you can have Irish, Danish, Chinese, Samoan, etc…and all still be Americans. Same is true in Hawaii-the Hawaiian Kingdom (which is still in existence today and occupied by the USA) can have people of many different ethnicities i.e., Japanese, Filipino, kanaka maoli (the correct term for what people incorrectly call “Hawaiian”), and all these races, bloodlines are Hawaiian because of their loyalty to, being born in Hawaii etc.. to a country the Hawaiian Kingdom. I am kanaka maoli. My neighbor is Japanese who’s history goes way back and were born in the Hawaiian Kingdom. We are both Hawaiian Kingdom subjects or “Hawaiian”. The kanaka maoli here do not want to be reduced to a “tribe” based on ethnicity under the control of US federal gov’t. nor exclude other ethnicities that have equal rights to this land. We are an independent, occupied country, made up of many different bloodlines, not a state of the USA that might be allowed to secede. Please check out for more information. Currently Hawaii is under the jurisdiction of of the ICC (International Crimes Court) and war crimes have been filed. Two judges here in Hawaii have a warrant out for their arrest by the ICC. Also I recommend reading and viewing: “There is a new history book, Ua Mau Ke Ea: Sovereignty Endures, on the legal and political history of the Hawaiian Kingdom that spans from Kamehameha I, progenitor of the Hawaiian Kingdom, to the present, and an accompanying DVD. Ua Mau Ke Ea: Sovereignty Endures is required reading for classes at the University of Hawai’i colleges and high schools throughout the Hawaiian Islands.” Mahalo!

CommiFornia- Pay attention to these new coming laws.

California Senate passes gun restraining order:
The legislation would make California the first state to let family members and law enforcement officers ask a judge to issue temporary restraining orders preventing people from possessing a firearm when a person poses a threat. – So exactly what is considered a Threat?

California: Anyone convicted of domestic violence can draw permanent gun ban:
Anyone convicted of domestic violence in California will be permanently barred from possessing a gun even if no physical injury was inflicted, a state appeals court has ruled.

Many States have similar laws even if you are “just accused of domestic violence” the courts order and demand you surrender all your firearms to the police until your case is settled. That’s F-uped

Warning: So Guys, nomatter how great the sex is, Stop dating those B-Polar psycho-chicks that like to push your buttons. Some chicks out there when they break up, regularly serve restraining orders on the guy just to try and harm them. One thing I always learned about dating during the early stages of a relationship, was just ask the woman what her last relationship was like? Like how did the break up go? If she says well I filed a restraining order on the guy, that is your signal to RUN and FAST. End it right there, cause she has no coping skills, you need to err on the side of caution. This is a mental stability question time period to know what and who you are dealing with. Lots of mentally unstable people out there both Girls and Guys. Read the signs early in the relationship.. Nothing wrong with RUN FAST!! Millions of other fish in the sea.

I like how the Country of ICELAND dealt with the Bankers. They put them in prison and forgave more of everybody’s debt. Now they are back rolling doing great.

Astonishing Factoid I learned today – The entire Population of Iceland Continent is only 333,547 People. I thought it was at least a few million people, but it is not.

            Iceland Population 2014
A recent and suspiciously rounded estimate suggests that the Iceland population in 2012 was 319,575. Today, the estimate is 333,547, which would make this only the 169th most populous country on earth.

Overall, Iceland has a surface area of 103,001 square kilometres (39,770 square miles) and it is the 108th largest in this respect. However, that harsh geographical landscape is one of the reasons why it is only the 232nd most densely populated with just 3.2 people for every square kilometre of land (8.4 per square mile).

            • John Q. Public

Truly Iceland had the right idea.

Hungary has been trying to move in that direction too, but progress there has been halting. After all, unlike Iceland, they have been under the money changers’ thumbs for centuries.

Do you know the similarity between the USSR and USSA? All Americans should read up on the Soviet Socialist revolution and the rise of the feminist movement and how millions of Russians were later slaughtered because the men were subjugated by the USSR and lost hope in the system.

By the way, a joke from the city of Feminism, Toronto Canada: The ONLY value Toronto feminists have is to sell themselves to the highest male bidder on the dating market thus gaining access to his money and status in the society.

Do you know what that means? The feminist women are sell outs and they would disown their own husbands to have big government as their husband.

This is why the socialists are keen on destroying the family and corrupting our women. Only the Christian family unit values liberty these days in the USA.

            • WhoWuddaThunkIt

Paul you are wrong. The Christian faith is very oppressive to woman and not expressing liberty, just like many other religions.

The New Testament quotes St. Paul (I Timothy 2) as saying that women “must be silent.” Deuteronomy declares that if a woman does not bleed on her wedding night, “the men of her town shall stone her to death.” An Orthodox Jewish prayer thanks God, “who hast not made me a woman.” The Koran stipulates that a woman shall inherit less than a man, and that a woman’s testimony counts for half a man’s.

During its early years, Christianity taught a spiritual unity that at least potentially mitigated the harshness of Roman law, in which women were considered non-citizens with no legal rights. Inequality was everywhere in this system; for example, while men’s adultery was assumed, women’s was punishable by death. Over against this culture, the ideal of the early church is captured in the words of Paul, “Be subject to one another in the fear of Christ” (Eph 5:21). And women did, as we will see, gain some status “in Christ,” filling key roles within the church.

This continued to be true in the Middle Ages, when society at large assumed women would marry and bear many children—indeed, among the elite, parents often arranged or forced marriage on their daughters. Monastic life offered many women an attractive alternative. This was a life of devotion, scholarship, travel, and spiritual fellowship and equal dialogue with male monastics and church leaders.

              • Mr. Smith (Formerly Grafique)

Anyone who takes spiritual advice from an atheist is as big a fool as the atheist.

              • The_Dr_Is_Real_In7

WWTI: Normally I enjoy and (mostly) agree with your posts! Not this time:
Jesus was the first leader to INCLUDE women in His work. He showed Himself to a woman FIRST after His resurrection. Just because the Bible gives roles for men and women doesn’t mean that Christianity is oppressive to women. The Scripture says that “There is is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all ONE IN CHRIST JESUS.” (Galatians 3:28) Christianity provided the framework for true equality, in-so-far as the physical inequalities allow. If MEN (in ANY context) exert power over women, it is because they are not “loving their wives like Christ loves the church.” That is: sacrificially. (Ephesians 5:28)

                Have a great holiday weekend!

              • Cara

You talk about Christian values and then cite the Old Testament, Jewish prayers and the Koran as your proof???
That is like speaking of the Constitution and then cite comic books, fairy tales and the local newspaper.

If you LEARNED the Christian faith you would learn that God gave woman to man and man to woman. They are a team with different roles. But they are both called to love and respect their spouse. The use of strident male dominance is not Christian. Woman is to recognize her spouse as head of the family and he in turn is to use the wisdom of Solomon to run his family with love and consideration of what is good for the family not just himself.

Men are to follow Christ as their example. Christs’ bride was his church which he worked hard to create. He then gave every last drop of his blood for her. Husbands are called to be the head of the family and to give of themselves for the good of the family. That is very different than being a bully or putting women down.

Having nothing in the “mail” field under your name sends your comment to moderation. You don’t have to use a real email address, but you need to follow the convention for email addresses, i.e. [email protected].

Mac’s commenting system learns to recognize the combination and will automatically allow the post after a couple of moderation holds.

            Hope this helps.

WhoWudda, my complaint is, one time an article will be posted and a new one won’t come up for maybe a day and a half, and the next time it will only be an hour or two just like today. I know my opinions and thoughts ain’t really all that great or important, but when you share what little you know, you would like to see what people think of them. Regardless of what some may say, that is the reason we comment. Unless an article is really good, once a new one comes out, few will go back and read the comments on the past article. So if an article is posted and you share your genius, and an hour later or if your at work and get home and make a comment and 10 mins later up pops a new article, you just as well have kept your thoughts to yourself. It ain’t like this stuff is breaking news. Trekker Out.

I absolutely cannot believe there is any 60% market “correction”. As long as QE is in place, the market only inflates (Notice I didn’t say grows). In fact, that’s what QE guards against….healthy, normal market functioning.

Any market “corrections” are all orchestrated in support of maintaining the grand illusion. That dow 30 measurement one sees on the bottom right hand corner of the tv screen is nothing more than a big fat invitation to foreign suckers such that they might invest in the american markets.

That number needs to be big because in order for our debtor system to keep functioning, it is necessary that new suckers be born everyday and keep funding the most wretched of all ponzi schemes.

Now of course if a significant downturn does occur, it means that a calculated move has been made to wipe out all 401k’s. Kind of like a last kick in the groin to the little guy.

          • passinwiththewind

            I fully agree, CS…

The word has been out for over a year now that the economy is better and QE will be phased out during the latter part of 2014.

Well, we know that tptb and msn bunch do lie with every breath, and the economy is really just limping along.

Actually, let me step back on that a sec; the top 1% of the wealthiest are getting richer and “yes” their economy is better. 4% are showing a modest profit. It’s the other 95% that are getting screwed in the economically challenged/over taxed bung hole.

I believe the whole, bloated stock market, propped up with QE will implode, basically overnight. It will not take much for that to happen either. A sudden announcement that QE has been given the boot by the feds and a massive sell off could very easily reduce the value by 50% in a few days.

A small nuke dropped in a major city could set off the pull-out/cash-in, also. Several climatic events could cause the plummet.

Anything that would rob people of their future retirement investments would set the stage for hell on earth and overtime shifts at the morgues.

Invest in eternity, and “they” can’t rob you of that.

Seems more likely TPTB would use the spike in market to inflate 401/403s and then would take them over for the greater good and because we meer mortals don’t know how to manage them properly (sarcasm). They would then agree to pay it out on their terms and at their interest rate…and after all our money was gone, then we could maybe collect social security. I would think the gov taking over our accounts would have major negative impact on the he markets.

        • FreeIllinois

The alternative media has been saying a collapse is coming for years; it was just a matter of time.

The alternative media has been ridiculed and laugh at for years over that claim but now the controlled Media is saying the same thing.

This tells me the powers behind the curtain are ready to pull the plug.

As individuals we may not be able to save a nation but we maybe able to save our families.

In my opinion Food will be the key. Do everything you can to acquire a food supply and be prepared to defend it.

The Fed Vide chairman just stated the other day that bail-ins could be coming to American banks…that means they ARE. With WWIII looming large, you’d better have your poop in a group, otherwise it will seriously hit the rotating fan blades for sure.

Hey Socrates, I agree that when the financial house of cards collapses it will be truly horrific. It will be so bad that we will beg for whatever solution they propose. That is of course world governance and loss of national sovereignty.

This may result in WWIII if there are still any nationalistic countries still around (e.g Russia and Germany, just to name two).

I have to be careful that my prepping does not loose focus on the most important thing. Food. As food has gotten more expensive and goes on sales less often, I have spent less and my stock has decreased.

agreed, it does seem like the “good stuff”, stuff I’d really like to have plenty of is on sale less frequently. Often the “sale” prices are what used to be the “everyday” price. • passinwiththewind

              Hey Jezebel,

I like the moniker, but hope you don’t have a daughter by the name of…Athaliah.

For those that don’t know how evil and wicked she was, because of dear ole mom Jezebel and evil pops Ahab; she killed all her grandsons after her son Ahaziah died, so that she was heir to the throne of Jerusalem. Kept it for six years. Sad times for Israel.

Does she remind anyone of an evil bitch that is now willing to do or say anything to take the throne of Washington DC? The similarities are greater than meets the eye. Remember how many people mysteriously met a sudden death during the late eighties and nineties that were connected by dots, to the King and Queen in DC, of that time? Some estimates put the figure between 50 and 100.

Since you mentioned Syria, I have a little trivia question for the folks here…..

How many people in Syria have been displaced in the country since the internal revolution began?

Here is a clue…… Take the entire populations of ..

New Hampshire,Rhode Island,Montana,Deleware,South Dakota,Alaska,North Dakota,Vermont and Wyoming; and uproot and scatter them throughout the other 41 states and, you get the picture.

          But,but…but,”Islam is a peaceful religion”.

      8. Really???

Yes, we know; how about how do we prep for it stuff now?

        • Winston Smith

How do you prep for anything? In the end it’s all about food, water, shelter, defense and learning how to avoid a fight if at all possible.

In the end, we are all just pawns of the global power brokers and neither our lives nor the lives of any other civilian population matter much to them. We are to be controlled, herded and thrown through the meat grinder of history as they see fit. If they need soldiers to fight their wars, guess who gets forced to do it? Not their kids! No, it will be us. In the end a few will be told how well they served their masters and be given useless little trinkets (medals) to commemorate how well they served the owners as if that is some compensation for a life ruined by war.

        • Justice

Really??? There are a lot of sites that discuss prepping how to:

I don’t know if you are new to prepping but, the best way to begin prepping is by making a goal.

Something as simple as, “I want to be prepared for a 3 month long disaster.” By setting a goal, you can create a preparedness plan based around this, which becomes your starting point. Moreover, when you create a goal, you have also created a reference point to turn to in case you get overwhelmed or overloaded with prepping. This reference point reminds you remember what you’re prepping for. From there, you can gather your supplies and learn your skillsets.

Plan – Set your prepper goals (short and long term), make a strategy, create lists of supplies, make meal plans, create a financial budget to get out of debt, as well as to fund your prepping endeavors.

Accrue – Begin investing in supplies, practice preparedness-based skills, continue to educate yourself on prepping and ways to promote a self-reliant lifestyle.

Apply – When you begin using your food stores, practicing your skills and confidently using your preps, you are applying the knowledge you have learned. Don’t forget to keep accumulating knowledge and learning better ways to prep.

          • the renegade braveheart

Justice, spot on comments. That’s exactly ho I first learned to prepare and have been following those guidelines ever since.

          • Winston Smith

I would also add that you should start learning to live a life that is not dependent on the labor of others. Learn to fix your own car, lawnmower, computer, etc. Start a backyard garden and learn what works and what doesn’t while you can still fall back on the local grocery store. If you think you are just going to throw seeds in the ground and eat from it in a month or two, you are sadly mistaken. If you know someone who hunts for food, see if you can tag along and learn from them. People who can do these things are naturally more prepared to adapt to new circumstances than those who just slide a credit card to get through life. Remember: preparedness is earned, not bought.

I don’t know to laugh or cry!. Been reading about this stuff for over 4 years now and still here. Well, I guess I will go do a little cruising with my wife on our old boat and toast out the stock market and do a little fishin. God Bless, James

Oh how I wish it would. Hit the fan, that is. I pray almost every day for this because as the world is now, there needs to be a demolition so we can start anew.

I agree we are looking at an American Armageddon, but it won’t be strictly financial. They will be sinking the whole ship using stealth weaponry we have no awareness of.

Yes, the market will drop like a rock…. BUT will it be the catalyst that crumbles our nation into utter turmoil and Martial Law….?

That’s the million dollar question. That is why so many are unprepared.

It all appears to be accelerating rather nicely lately…doesn’t it? Yee-Haa!

The finacial sector is the governor valve for any society; that which is intended to REGULATER the flow and tranfser of goods and services back and forth, everryone knows this, yes. However, when that self-same governor becomes STUCK…sending an endless stream of resources to a small handful of the truly ‘Entitled’, in Society, ie, the system becomes corrupted (in this case from the TOP down) a Crash is all that one can duly expect. This is no more complicated than the cause and effect associated with jumping off of a cliff….a swift DROP, followed by a SUDDEN stop….probably FATALLY so.
The market will have it’s day of Reckoning all too shortly when some unforseen event tips it finaly past it’s center a tiny bit too far. The SYSTEM has ZERO redudancy at this stage…nothing to fall back ON.

So too in this skewed, corrupt market in which price/discovery is so abormally driveb off-center by the actions of supposedly well-meaning, paternal Federal Reserve. The bare truth of it all though is much as any here would expect; the entire thing has been a ‘Three Card Monte’ on the part of those PRIVILEDGED by birth or happenstance from the very outset. Not for you, not for me, for THEM. Now things, ‘They are a changin’, or soon will.

The “CAT is just about out of the bag” at this point and behind the scenes there is a MAD sramble going on to cover positions in preparation for anticpated exits from the market…or so THEY Hope. One small problem though, when it comes time to EXIT they are ALL going to be arriving at the doors at the same time.

Those NOW in the market go to bed nightly fearing that there will be no ‘greater fool’ to SELL TO…when they need thier OUT, yet they are still playing the game! AMAZING how the monkey simply will NOT let go of the banana… even when the poacher is upon them, No?

For those still in the market, “Lots a Luck..” it won’t however, do you a bit of good: if you try gambling on the End of the World don’t expect a whopping return . It didn’t happen in ’29, ’87, ’99 OR ’07…did it?

The Day and Age of the “Bankers’, and by extension and as well MONEY, as the driving ethos behind ALL things is soon to be a matter of History. Please bear in mind that when it does, we WILL return to a ‘thing’ based life-style…THINGS will have value and broken promises over worthless pieces of paper WILL NOT…act accordingly. Tick-tock, tick-tock…….

      17. Townsaver

The problem was never fixed in 2008. We had an election, and people fell for the hope and change. Nothing has changed except a re-inflated bubble thanks to QE Infinity. Inflation is real, I know you can feel it at the pump and the grocery store. Come January California is going to implode, can’t say I am too upset about that one though. When it crashes this time, it will be much worse than last time… much much worse.

If we would have let the fraudsters fail and let their corrupt businesses fail, we would have been well into a true recovery by now. But, everything is too big to fail and too rich to jail. We kicked the can down the road again last time. When we try to kick the can down the road this time it is going to razor shear our foot off.

The bleeding will not be stopped.

Thank you God for letting me have the eyes to see and the will to act.

If economy collapses…who’s going to pay the goons? Will they go out and shoot Americans for free or will they stay home and take care of their own families? Remember this is the USA where the USD is the global reserve, this is not Argentina or Zimbabwe where they can revert to USD when their currencies collapsed. Will the rest of the world including Russia come to the aid of the USA and supply us with much needed necessities (food, water, humanitarian aids)? Will the world lend us more funds to restart our economy? I’m certain the US government will confiscate everything the population have including food and water to feed their goons.

        • Winston Smith

Why do you think the government is stockpiling so much food and ammo? The tools of the oppressors will be paid in the ability to eat and feed their families. While the rest of us starve, they will be too frightened to disobey lest they be denied the food, safe drinking water and medicine that the government will control.

        • WhoWuddThunkIt

@Chow- Ever hear about the spoils of war? The US Govt will promise these UN soldiers our homes and property as payment to Kill us. That is their incentive. These killers will demand tangable assets not US Dollars. Sucks huh???.

I’m guessing that Barry will announce either an Executive Order on amnesty or climate change tomorrow late in the day when most folks are preparing for their 3-day weekends.

As for the economy, a person/country can only spend so much before their Creditors as them to pay up! I know it’s redundant to say, but the laws of Econ can not be suspended.

        • Townsaver

I too notice how he always waits for the weekends.

A friend of mine made a comment the other day. It is almost like the “terrorists” take the weekend off too. Or is it just that no one gives a shit on the weekend?

Either way, we do not ever take our eyes off the prize. Information exchange and moral support my friends. I wish you all were HAMS. The internet will not be here for us much longer.

          • Winston Smith

The problem with HAM is that it is expensive to get involved in. However, everyone can afford some sort of shortwave radio to hear broadcasts from outside their own country. Even a cheap $10 model off Ebay can get plenty of broadcasts if linked with a stretched out Slinky via a wire with alligator clips on it’s ends. Using this setup I have heard English language broadcasts from Cuba, Moscow Russia, Germany, Australia, Japan and Beijing China as well as some in languages I don’t speak like Russian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Hebrew, Arabic, Farsi, etc. It’s an essential prep and one that doesn’t have to break the bank.

            • WhoWuddThunkIt

Ham is not expensive. You can get hand held 2 way radios for $150 with 25 to 50 mile radius. You can invest for a few hundred dollars a long antenna you can drap over the top of a tree nice and stealthy that will receive or broadcast much farther. Get something and store the radio in your Fararday cage to protect it from an EMP. Police scanners and ER scanners will also help. A lot of police scanners have encrypted channels unfortunately. Same with military. But many ER first responders follow police and vice versa to thev same incident scene. Get this radio gear ASAP. BE IN THE KNOW. Enen a CB Radio I bettrr than nothing. Look up your local ham broadcast channels.

              • Winston Smith

                $150 for me IS expensive.

Seems to me that nothing will happen until at least after the mid-terms. With that being said, the stocks, Obama, the bankers and others will see the direction of the country/world IF the so-called “conservatives” win the senate. In the end it won’t matter, TPTB NWO idiots will dictate the collapse when they are ready.

        • Winston Smith

A lot of Republicans will be shocked when their party betrays them. Sadly though, many more will go along with them as they are from their “team”. Politics has become like professional sports in that people choose a team and will irrationally support them even when they know they suck. It’s one reason why nothing ever truly changes for the better.

This so called collapse is made to order. How else will TPTB rid the earth of way too many people, in their thinking? Mass murder is on the horizon. To maintain their power and order the masses have to be seriously depleted. It’s evidently a no win situation for the common people. Rise up in opposition and the people will be mass slaughtered. They have the people in a terrible jam. Thank the bastard banker’s whose usury has robbed the people of their dignity and livelihoods in their lust for ever greater profits. Thank the military industrial complex, the bankers army, who murder indiscriminately across the earth for power and greed, with enough weapons to obliterate humanity and ready to do just that. Weapons of mass destruction have been used and will be used again. It’s a sick mentality that’s not really understandable. The people of the earth could live in peace and harmony with changes and common sense being applied. It’s been a very fast collapse, in the span of a single lifespan. I hope the readers here will survive the inevitable nightmare facing our citizenry

          • WhoWuddThunkIt

No doubt America is plumb full of cowards too. And when asked to stand up and fight for their freedoms. Out of fear they will do another cowardly act and commit suicide rather that stand to fight for their own freedoms. Like in the movie Patton, when the General bitch slapped that coward silly and commanded hi to go fight. Many people in this country need a swift boot up their asses for the same cowardly act of do nothing cause it is less painful. Stop being cowards.

Is anyone else amazed the economy has made it this far without a severe crash or anything else catastrophically bad happening to it? Besides the crap we live with everyday.

        • WhoWuddThunkIt

Not sure what you are talking about the Ecomony has crashes already for most Americans. Just ask those million of people who had their homes foreclosed on since 2008. Or lost their jobs to China. Or those on food stamps from 17 Mil to 50 Million people. The feeding of the Fed to banks to double the fake stockmarket that will surely crash people’s 401ks. Or those about to have their bank accounts seized.. The economy crashed back in 2008. Exceipt for those in The 1 to top 2%.

      27. Barn Cat

I would expect a 90% crash but it might not happen all at once. The day before black Friday in 1929 the market was at 273.46. On July 8, 1932 it closed at 41.22. That’s a drop of 85% over a period of 3 years.

      28. European American

Stock Market? You mean that private casino based in NY? Up 60%, down 60%? Does that really influence anything other than those who lay down their bets for those on the “inside” and those on the “outside”?

Since the whole scam is artificial, I don’t see how it will affect anyone here. The only “extreme Turmoil” will be for those on the outside, which will be for the vast majority wagering their hard earned dollars in a world where the house wins almost all of the time.

Hmmm, Food Prices up, yet gas prices down. Now I certainly feel those two.

        • WhoWuddThunkIt

Yeah The Wallstreet Casino where the insiders doubled up all on Black as the roulette wheel comes up black everytime since 2008 as the house is covering their bets with Fed insurance for guaranteed wins everytime. Time to burn the Casino down.

      29. dontbeanidiot

They’ll print as long as they can — so market will go up until then. Supply->Demand. Today there is an oversupply of leverage dollars; so, bonds will continue to be low. There is a captive, deep (or endless) well to buy gov bonds as well. So, bonds down and market up for the foreseeable future. So, the crash is in consumer buying power, stocks are just holding their own.

So, I am stuck with $10 for 20 rounds of 7.62×39 Tula, or $10 for 15 rounds of Bulgarian mil-surp. At that price, I really can’t afford to shoot all that much.

          • WhoWuddThunkIt

Plenty of cheap Ammo online. WORST place to buy Ammo is at a Gun Shop. Look for Gun Shows or Cheaper than back in 2010 prices.

            • WhoWuddaThunkIt

I see we have at least 2 red thuumb shills on here that no matter what I say red thumb me. Now I just gave advice of where to buy ammo cheap for everybody and 2 dickheads red thunb me. I know oldman or oldguy is one of them. Barn cat joo is probably the other. You are exposed.
Back up the truck on cheap ammo. Cheers!

          • Warchild Dammit!

Guys, check the net for ammo, sure,a trail with bank card ect.,but at that point does it matter if that matters,NO!There is plenty of quality 5.56 for sale on net at good prices, hit sites morning and night and will see deals on .22,it is out there reasonably priced. On a side note, the .22 farce is ending, just a bunch of stores and shoppers picking it up and auctioning on gun sites instead of stores putting on their local shelves to a large degree, don’t pay/encourage this legal but asshole behavior.

            • Warchild Dammit!

OH,on ammo seek plenty of .22 at.07 a round. The important thing is there is federal for sale, someone let Genius know as he is a big fan of federal ammunition!

        Oh Boy…

You’ve got to hear this…just up at the Hedge, the perfect example of the STERLING chivalry and character of one of the ‘enabler class’, our trusted gooberment CIVIL aervants…actally, not so civil, sick…

        Under, the heading,

“A Man Of Many Perversions” – Federal Cybersecurity Head Convicted Of Child Porn Charges”

        One Timothy DeFoggi, apparently child porn conniseur, extraordinaire’ and for a time (acting )Head of cybersecurity for US Health and HUMAN Services, according to the Hedge, here quoting the article;

“The self-proclaimed man of “many perversions,” frequented a child porn site called PedoBook where he “exchanged private messages with other members expressing interest in raping, beating and murdering infants and toddlers.”

        but finally Justice’s long arm,
“…But DeFoggi—convicted today in Nebraska on three child porn charges including conspiracy to solicit and distribute child porn—must have believed his use of the Tor anonymizing network shielded him from federal investigators.”

This is YOUR government People…this is what we are FACING. Power gone MAD.

        • Paul

In Britian, there is a huge child porn conspiracy involving government officials and in Canada a former Deputy Minister of Education was indicted in luring a preteen female for the purposes of child exploitation.

Child exploitation is common in public schools because the Marxists are forcing their paedophile and lesbian-tans-gay agenda to students and allowing child predators to wilfully use the schools as their access to their sick crimes.

The media desensitizes people by selectively using news articles of female teachers who sleep with their students because the feminist movement aims to legalize paedophilia for women and gays only.

The heterosexual white Christian male, will be harassed, pounded and riduculed by the gays, lesbians, feminists and paedophiles for simply being a human being. Just wait and see until Hitlery Clinton gains power in 2016. Men are going to have a hard time living in the feminist gay and lesbian paedophile government.

Actually, I would expect pork products to drop significantly in the short term and beef products to rise dramatically. Russian sanctions against the EU and US have put a glut of pigs on the market that will need to be liquidated. So in the short term the price will go down. Freeze what you can because the price should shoot back up again after the backlog is cleared. As for beef, due to the US drought I would expect it’s price to continue to rise through the winter.

          • Archivist

You can pressure can bacon and other pork. Or buy some hogs if you have the land.

Folks are born, live and need services and product.

A farmer is not going to lose his farm …he’s put in that irr. sys. to make his bank payment.

Forget prepping and go back to school and learn a trade.

I’ll get thumbs down for this..but it’s all bs.

        Sure..have your ass covered..but don’t make it a lifestyle.
Like you’re waiting for doom xmas to be proven right.

          ummmm yeah

in a real emergency you are your own emergency first responder, best chance to survive, don’t let the door hit you in the ass.

the idea of prepping is to “simply be prepared” to survive the next katrina, next 9/11, next l.a. riots, next flood, next blizzard, next power outage, next earthquake, next tornado, next home invasion robbery, NEXT NWO ZOG FEDGOV FALSE-FLAG… etc etc

knowing you have a closet full of preps and the knowledge to use it to save your and your family lives = PRICELESS!

        • Fyyff

Huh, I doubt you will get a lot of thumbs down. You are right about tv and welfare. As long as we pay people not to riot (welfare) and entertain them with mind numbing bullshit sit coms, they will be pacified. You are also correct on learning a trade. You are also correct when advising to prepare and live your life.
I as far as forgetting to prep? I disagree. Do everything you said but add prepping. The eventual demise of our government will come. Nothing has or will last forever. Just when will it end? It won’t be from the low class welfare types. No motivation, no leadership and basically no skills. It will come from the working class when they get tired of supporting the underclass. When the working class gets tired of the manipulating smoke and mirror government and big business. Enough.
Now when will the end happen. You forget disasters like California earthquakes taking down the largest economy in the country regrading a state.

If a “house” made you an income in some way, well beyond just having a tenant, I could understand buying one. But even then, as ‘Housing Analyst’ has written many many times before on why would you buy a property that is 250% overvalued?

It has been over a month, And the information that we want to know since it almost caused a war WHAT IS ON THE COCKPIT FLIGHT DATA RECORDER OF MALAYSIAN FLIGHT 17?
We just spent the entire spring learning about what data is found on them thanks to the darned CNN and flight 370.
People we need to hear this information and not any lies about corruption. Come on inspectors, tell us the truth.
Why keep it hidden if it is so bad for Russia.
Your governments seem to keep pushing for war. Give us the public your proof of the necessity for war.

At least they could give us a good lie.

        • Pissed Off Granny

Your cries for TRUTH is almost laughable. Darned CNN? Damn LYING pieces of shit, I say.

Time to get a shovel; cause if you are looking for the MSM to give you even a hint of truth you will have to dig deep.

How do you ever expect any of the MSN to tell you TRUTH? The whole of them are owned by TPTB. You know, the ones pushing us into WW3 so they can finally set up their OWO.

Would you be okay with the truth about WW3? It is coming to cull the earth of people they find useless to them and people fighting against their agenda.

If you were told the truth of WW1-WW2 you would be very dismayed. What in the world did America gain from all the deaths of our loved ones? “To stop Bolshevik Communism around the world”, they proclaimed. How has that worked out for you?

If they dared breath the truth of their pillage of the earth, I would like to think Americans would march on DC tomorrow.

Notice I said I would like to think that would happen.

      53. Poon Tang

There are always “corrections”. The market always goes up then it always goes down. The problem we face is when and how far it falls. How long does it stay down? No one of us can guess or figure the exact time of a market collapse. The stock market stopped being investing and became gambling a long time ago. We know a retired guy in his 70’s who still has substantial money in the market. If it goes down he may not live long enough to see it come back up. Pull it out of the market and get something of value that has liquidity. Something that everybody needs. Like Jack Daniels.

Olive leaf extract or raw Olive oil, is a very strong antiviral,-(Good for all,-) And don’t forget Ascorbic acid, better known as vitamin C , which is good for scurvy which EBOLA resembles in it’s early stages,

I will tell you what’s wrong with this scenario. The people that caused the economic collapse through years of irresponsible leadership are going to murder the people they victimized in the name of social order? They are the ones that the People should arrest and put in jail for years of high crimes and treason. In some cases they should be executed. If they get away with this there is no future for Democracy in America.
