The debate over what actions actually constitute “terrorism,” I believe, will become one of the defining ideological battles of our era. Terrorism is not a word often used by common people to describe aberrant behaviors or dastardly deeds; however, it is used by governments around the world to label and marginalize political enemies. That is to say, it is the government that normally decides who is a “terrorist” and who is a mere “criminal,” the assertion being that one is clearly far worse than the other.
The terrorist label elicits emotional firestorms and fearful brain-quakes in the minds of the masses. It causes the ignorant and unaware to abandon principles they would normally apply to any other malicious enterprise. They begin to reason that a criminal should be afforded justice, while a terrorist should be afforded only vengeance, even though the act of branding a person a “terrorist” is often completely arbitrary. This vengeance is usually pursued by any means. Thus, the terrorist moniker becomes a rationalization for every vicious and inhuman policy of the establishment, as well as for the citizenry.
Dishonorable and foolish people claim the existence of terrorism essentially gives license for the rest of us to become criminal, willfully trampling on individuals’ rights to privacy, property, free speech, due process, civic participation, etc. Mass criminality against the individual in the name of social safety is the glue that holds together all tyrannical systems, triggering a catastrophic cycle of moral relativism that eventually bleeds a culture dry.
Historically, the expanded use of the terrorist label by governments tends to coincide with the rising tides of despotism. A government that quietly seeks to dominate the people will inevitably begin to treat the people as if they are the enemy. Those citizens who present the greatest philosophical or physical threat to the centralization of power are usually the first to suffer. I do not think it is unfair to say that any system of authority that suddenly claims to see terrorists under every rock and behind every tree is probably about to rain full-on fascism down upon the population.
The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is the legal extension of this process, with a vaporous gray language that allows the government to interpret it in any manner it deems useful, which conveniently allows it to interpret a wide range of “offenses” as acts of war against the state.
The Department of Homeland Security’s “If You See Something Say Something” campaign is the social extension of the process, by which it creates the framework for a paranoid self-censored surveillance culture.
The fusion center network is the enforcement extension designed to surround local and State police with an atmosphere of indoctrination and federalized dogma, teaching common cops to profile according to a template that is so ambiguous that literally any activity could be considered suspicious or terroristic.
All that is left for the establishment is to force the vocabulary of fear into mainstream consciousness. This means constant propaganda. This means furious hype. This means an utterly shameless barrage of false associations, misdirections and fantastical fairyland lies. This means that we have reached a point in the grand totalitarian scheme in which the American populace is about to be bombarded with an endless drone of terrorism brainwashing — not demonizing a foreign enemy, but demonizing the hypothetical extremist next door. In fact, the Boston Marathon bombing seems to have been the signal for an escalation of such rhetoric. The high-speed conditioning has already begun.
In Middlefield, Ohio, James Gilkerson, an unemployed man taking care of his elderly mother, was pulled over during a routine traffic stop only to exit his vehicle firing an AK-47 at police officers. The action was obviously unprovoked; the police responded with deadly force, and rightly so. I would have done the same. Gilkerson’s attack was crazy, yes. Criminal? Yes. But Middlefield Police Chief Arnold Stanko’s remarks to the press bring a whole other dark side to this already tragic event. Stanko stated that: “He got out of the vehicle, intending to kill my officers. We don’t know why he did it… He was a scumbag and a terrorist, and he’s dead.”
Stanko doesn’t know why Gilkerson fired at police, but he is certain that the man was a “terrorist.” What if Gilkerson was depressed or overmedicated or he just snapped that day? Terrorism denotes certain premeditation and planning. This attack was clearly not part of a malicious scheme, yet the label of “terrorist” is being thrown around nonchalantly, almost as if law enforcement has been trained to use such rhetoric whenever it suits them.
In Montevideo, Minn., the FBI recently raided the home of Buford Rogers, who was convicted of felony burglary in 2011. Authorities had received reports that Buford was in possession of a firearm, which is illegal for convicted felons. The raid did indeed produce firearms, as well as items the FBI dubbed “explosive devices.” They did not specify what these “explosive devices” were or if they actually posed a significant threat to anyone. After the bust, headlines read “FBI Thwarts Terror Attack.”
Again, there is absolutely no indication here of a planned attack. There’s no indication that Rogers had any intent to hurt anyone or even any ideological motivations to hurt anyone. Yet the terrorism label is used again to describe a routine criminal arrest.
In Tempe, Ariz., 18-year-old Joshua Prater was arrested after a maid found an “explosive device” in his closet and turned it in to authorities. Prater claims he built the device, consisting of a carbon dioxide cartridge, a fireworks fuse, gunpowder, match heads and fireworks, eight years ago; and he claims he was not aware it was dangerous. Police did not call Prater a terrorist, but they did refer to his device as an “IED,” which, as we all know, is the abbreviation used by U.S. soldiers to describe an “improvised explosive device,” the favorite weapon of insurgents and “terrorists” in Iraq and Afghanistan. Such terminology is not coincidental. Make no mistake; this is a calculated effort to introduce the language of the battlefield to the streets of America.
Seattle police are now holding simulation drills at local schools in which law enforcement officials fight against gun-wielding proxy opponents posing as “angry parents.”
These kinds of drills are a part of a larger DHS program implemented through fusion centers which, in my view, is designed to desensitize law enforcement to violence against common citizens. Said drills have simulated conflicts with constitutionalists, home-schoolers, patriots and so on. Let’s be clear here; the “terrorists” that the police are now being trained to fight against are people like you and me. We are being painted as the future enemy.
Just to solidify this reality, I will also point out the recent exposure of a DHS training program series available on the Federal Emergency Management Agency Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program website, which includes a media section designed to provide teaching aids to agency heads and law enforcement. The series includes a fabricated news broadcast that covers a hypothetical raid on a “militia headquarters.” The video shows semi-automatic firearms, rifle scopes, night vision, flak jackets — all perfectly legal in the United States today — as illegal “contraband,” while painting gun owners and militias as chemical weapon-wielding terrorists.
What started as an appeal to the average American’s sense of Islamophobia after the 9/11 attacks has now evolved into the full-spectrum theater of random domestic terrorism that culminates in what the establishment calls “self-radicalization.”
The concept of self-radicalization is a very interesting propaganda tactic. Rather than limiting the public’s fear only to some outside foreign enemy like Al Qaeda or some domestic activist organization like the liberty movement, the establishment has now composed a narrative in which each and every one of us might one day catch the extremist virus of dissent, defiance or ideological violence and suddenly decide to kill, kill, kill.
The more naïve subsections of our society will accept unConstitutional methods against the “radicalized” out of fear and conditioning, without realizing that the machinations of bureaucracy being used against those they hate could just as easily be used against them in the future.
If the elites achieve the social endgame they desire, legal and political wordplay will become so broad that anyone could be targeted. If you are a citizen who defies the establishment power structure, then you are an extremist. If you are an extremist, then you are a terrorist. If you are a terrorist, then you are an enemy combatant. And, under the NDAA, if you are an enemy combatant, you are no longer a citizen and you no longer deserve Constitutional protection. The circular logic is maddening, not to mention outrageous. But it is also very useful when an abusive government needs a pretext to silence or destroy dissent. Under totalitarianism, all people become terrorists. It starts with the mistreatment of the worst of us, and it ends with the mistreatment of the best of us.

The most direct attack on America is the expansion of legal immigration to this country. Almost half the people currently living in the US are here as a result of the Immigration Reform Act of 1965. The work and student visa program, green cards and refugee programs make illegal immigration look puny.
These brainwashed Eurotrash socialists and third world bottom-feeders have no history or tradition of natural rights, and in fact have never heard of the concept, or understand that the Constitution was an attempt to codify those natural God-given rights. They do not understand what our Founders understood – that men who are drawn to centers of power are by nature the worst among us, and that laws are needed to keep them in check. They do not understand or respect that the Constitution was written as a witness against the fallen nature of man, and that it is as timeless man’s nature, which has not changed, and will not be out-dated until that nature has become angelic.
The descendants of America’s founders are being replaced with a foreign people, and this was by design. The American gun-owning, freedom-loving middle-class was the biggest obstacle to One-World-Government-equally-distributed-misery plans of the international bankster cartel. In 2000, I found a double handful of live M80s (fireworks) in plain sight on top of a trash can on a busy street. In Oregon, fireworks are illegal, but I was more worried about some kid blowing his own hands off with them so I picked them up. I magically got stopped by police who found them in my car. They tried to prosecute me for possession of ‘explosive devices’.
It didn’t work, but they tried, even in 2000, to pin a ‘terrorist’ designation on me. I’m lucky the judge had some common sense, deciding that my reasoning for picking them up was a valid one, something that any responsible adult might have done.
Today, I’d be a terrorist on my way to Guantanamo for a water board ride for sure.

I can easily show how this attack has been set against us through a picture of a wheel, with Christ as the hub and spokes.
Every dollar spent in giving through causes has weaken the church and America. Almost every donation cause works against us: Feed the children, AARP, televangilist, Jerry’s kids, the United way, LULAC, ACLU, St. Judes hospital, breast cancer, other cancer platforms etc.. With each cause comes people that are passionate about that single cause (even abortion/same sex marriage) that are designed to divide us. I haven’t even mentioned the passion for false churches/religions.

I really think that we only have 10 or so years maximum before the SHTF economically. After the collapse, expect violent swings in gov’t and popular opinion that will change in response to the crises and aftermath. I really expect there to be multiple attempts to “correct the situation” so to speak over a period of time that may span several decades, but if it takes over the life span of the over 40 crowd to go back to our country’s founding documents, then its game over.. One thing many of us have learned is to never under estimate the ability of TPTB to prolong things.. I’ve been thinking 2-4 years since 2010. Now I’m really really thinking it should be 2 to 4 years max considering that Japan is on target to double its monetary supply in 2 years and will have to start rolling over that debt in 4. But we’ve been successful in increasing our monetary supply by 50% since roughly 2008, but I would be surprised if interest rates can be suppressed at the 2% rate or even something affordable for another 10 years. What is the breaking point? Hard to tell– Europe, Japan and US and controlled interest will act in tandem to extend the game while the BRICS will work in tandem to establish a new monetary system outside the influence of the US and the usage of the dollar system.
If someone can accurately predict– then they should have no problem picking those magical 6 numbers for the Powerball drawing tonight…

This scenario played out a county over from me. The local news announcers read their story with deadpan faces. A local had allegedly tried to sell a couple live grenades. He was being charged with possessing “weapons of mass destruction”. I have not heard of those charges in this context. Weren’t WMDs “dirty bombs” 10 years ago? Maybe they found some grenades in Sadaam’s bathroom and that’s why he was stomped on. Anyway the announcers went on to mention that this guy also had an AK 47…not saying anything about any charges for that. Just a little added color, I suppose, to stir up the domestic terrorist fears in the masses.

I seem to remember a few years ago there was a report of a semi truck load of barrels of cyanide that went missing. Later they found the truck somewhere in the Texas? outback with some of the barrels but many were missing. As far as I know they haven’t found the missing ones yet. Looking for the number of burglaries last year in Devils Lake, N.D.? How about the increase in property crimes in Caribou, Maine? The answers (34 and 23 percent, respectively) are readily available from the FBI.
Want detailed information on how many people were shot by police in the United States last year?
That’s not so easy to find.
The nation’s leading law enforcement agency collects vast amounts of information on crime nationwide, but missing from this clearinghouse are statistics on where, how often, and under what circumstances police use deadly force. In fact, no one anywhere comprehensively tracks the most significant act police can do in the line of duty: take a life.
“We don’t have a mandate to do that,” said William Carr, an FBI spokesman in Washington, D.C. “It would take a request from Congress for us to collect that data.”
Congress, it seems, hasn’t asked.
The FBI, which has the power to conduct civil rights investigations related to any questionable use of deadly force by any law enforcement agency, has produced at least one report analyzing shootings over several years by its own agents.
In addition, the agency tracks the total annual number of “justifiable homicides,” acts it defines as “the killing of a felon by a law enforcement officer in the line of duty,” but that only covers people shot while committing a serious crime and the data aren’t broken down by agency. In 2010, that number was 387, down from 414 the year before.
While the agency collects, reports, and analyzes murders and assaults where police are the victim, Carr said budgetary concerns would likely preclude collecting such detailed data on shootings by police.
Everyone from the Justice Department to the International Association of Police Chiefs to local and state police agencies have guidelines or policies on use of deadly force. But seldom do they try to quantify and analyze trends.
Some, the Los Angeles and San Diego police departments among them, do analyze shootings involving their own officers.
The Metropolitan Police Department created a statistical breakdown of officer-involved shootings between 2003 and 2008, listing data such as the age, gender, and race of officers and of shooting subjects. Following controversial incidents, the department did a similar breakdown for 2010. But neither report offers any analysis or draws any conclusions from the numbers.
The American Civil Liberties Union said police aren’t required to publicly report officer-involved shooting information to anyone, but recently a judge ordered the New York Police Department to release that information to the New York Civil Liberties Union.
The NYPD fought disclosure, arguing it would violate the privacy of the officers and reveal investigative techniques, said Molly Kaplan, an American Civil Liberties Union spokeswoman.

Once upon a time, I used to jump out of perfectly good airplanes. Almost always, releasing the pilot chute caused the main chute to open allowing for a very controlled and gentle descent to the LZ. However, sometimes things go wrong and the big chute fails. Then you have to cut-away and deploy the reserve. Anyone who has experienced a reserve ride knows the added adrenalin rush and that moment of indecision to cut-away or not. Generally, at the point where you realize you have a problem, the ground is eleven seconds away and coming up at you at 120mph.You have choices in this situation, hence the moment of indecision. One might elect to spend a few of those precious seconds trying to clear the main. After all, it is always better to stay with the main if possible. One is trained to never leave a canopy unless absolutely necessary. The other option would be to just cutaway immediately and get on the reserve. Obviously, this choice leaves you with no other options. If the reserve fails, well, burning in at 120mph causes one helluva bounce. Fortunately, while everybody packs their own main, a licensed rigger must pack the reserve. The rigger is a man whose skill and understanding may be your only hope of getting to the ground safely. Ultimately, he is responsible for your life. When you choose your rigger, you keep those thoughts in mind. You have to trust him. Gentlemen, I submit that the main has malfed. It’s obvious. There are few precious seconds left. The ground is coming up at one-two-oh. Cut-away or not? Keep in mind that to continue trying to clear the main may render a later decision to cut-away fruitless. The reserve was packed by a man who knew what he was doing. You supposedly trust him. Cut-away or not? Isn’t that really the question? The ground approaches!

In response to your well thought out post; I can only tell you what my impression of what our “Founding Brothers” were attempting.
J.Adams (who by the way is one of the greatest Patriots stricken from history) felt that this country and it’s Constitution was only good for a Judaeo/Christian “God fearing” populace, and wholly unsuited for any other.
To think that the “Wall of Separation” spoken of by Jefferson was anything other than keeping GOVERNMENT OUT OF RELIGION IE: monolithic church of Rome, Church of England,(not Religion out of Government). It is more than interesting that they made this the First Amendment to the newly created U.S. Constitution.
The idea that you could be a Muslim, Satanist, Hari Krishna, ETC.ETC, or even agnostic, simply was not in the program. And I would challenge anyone who believes they were not believers in a higher power ( Yes even B.Franklin)

Was it flawed from the start?? Can humans ever learn that the true price of freedom is SELF restraint?? If it is true that the Founders “erred grievously” it was only on the side of freedom, and faith in human potential (certainly not human nature).

A quick response would be that Jesus on whom the Christian faith is based was Jewish, in every sense of the word. King David was distant relative of Jesus and also of the Tribe of Judah ( I mention that only because Jesus had a legitimate claim on the earthly throne). Did he break the mold, and change the paradigm, Maybe yes, Maybe no. It would absolutely depend on your review of the Old Testament. I have a hard time throwing the “baby out with the bath water”. Do I believe that there are some VERY VERY bad people of Jewish descent on this rock, absolutely. Do I believe the same about African, Middle Eastern, Asian, Caucasian, etc. Absolutely. So then we might ask the question, “why”
The fuse I allude to above is that which is the nature of living things…all that lives MUST PROGRESS, though here I do NOT mean “Progress for the sake of Progress”, what I mean instead is more properly the analogy of a swimming shark…if that one ceases to swim, then it DIES. I say openly that Humanity shares this characteristic; that evolutionary growth is NOT simply desireable…BUT innately Neccesary and that without such it too, will DIE.
Many today ‘feel’ this as a Truth…but where is the solution, we ALL ask, do we not? The fuse, once lit, proceeds to an END…in this case the ‘Childhood’ of Humanity – which was all time prior to the Founding – ended then at that moment and a new time began and this new time – which ALSO is of FINITE length – is a transition from Chilhood to Adulthood and by this analogy would then be a Human “Puberty” of sorts. The problem there is that Puberty is a short span in a Human life…and probably so as well for us collectively, whist in this state.In fact, who among us today does not ‘feel’ the urgency that ‘something’ is approaching….something VAST and Horribly Momentous? Few, I think, would say “No…such is NOT coming… “…too many feel this of which I speak, here, today….SOON.
Returning to the shark analogy I mentioned above, Humanity MUST continure to ‘swim’, forward…but in so doing the frailty’s of all the systms that exists become more manifestly plain by the day…and so Human dissatisfaction with these things grows without bound and the competing aspects of Human thought clash directly with one another. On the one hand we have those who would remove from us all authority over ourselves and keep it unto themselves…for OUR PROTECTION…but they themselves are FATALLY FLAWED, and in doing so – as History has showed forth endlessly – the same miserable End will be the result…TYRANNY. For those who would take the reins of Governance from the ‘poor unwashed masses’ are themselves no better or even different than those whom they would so ‘Husband’. @ Satori. Already has happened in India, well almost, on August 15, 1950, 8.6 in India, and On June 12, 1897 which some condider was anywhere between 8.3 to high 8 range. The northern part of the Austrailian plate is a horrible one as it is being driven under the Asian plate. This is the reason for the extreme heighth of the Himalayan mountains, one plate on top of the other. The Arabian plate is also a plate undergoing much stress from the African, Asian, and Austrailian plate.
Without exaggerating anything, I have long thought because of this quadruple type of junction that a future earthquake could easily exceed a 9.0. This is one spot that could get into the mid 9 range, I am not kidding. I don’t feel a high 9 range is likely, but when you look at the pressure that can build up without being released for a significant enough amount of time, it is possible. The Australian plate of course was responsible for the 9.1 tsunami generated mega quake, and this was south, 1500-2000 miles, of the area you are talking about.
I would say the highest risk for this would be from the far western border of India and Pakistan at the Tropic of Cancer up along the Indian border around China to about the country of Bhutan. Looking at the geology of the land, it is likely that this region gets its high 8’s and every 200-500 years gets a mega quake, and perhaps every few thousand years gets a super mega quake that shakes the whole planet. India about the time of the asteroid killer of the dinosaurs was the most volcanic region on the planet and was long debated as what did in the dinosaurs rather than the asteroid. Some say both. In actuality disease and very suppressed immune systems of the lizards from one or both of these events did in the reptiles.
This is one article that under-estimated the true threat of this region. They say this region is capable of a 8.7-9.2, I would say more like 9.2-9.7, but this would be one of those one in 5000 year events. We though seem to be having a lot of these 1 in 1000 or 1 in 10000 year events lately around the planet.

@ JustOneGuy and everyone else. Space weather has a chart up that says that NOAA estiamtes a 60% chance of an X-flare in the next 48 hours. As AR-1748 rotates more and more towards a center point on the Sun, any X-flare that goes off becomes less and less of just a glancing blow and more and more of a direct hit. Early next week it should be dead on and if it erupted then, bull’s eye, target Earth with maybe an EMP if it is strong enough X-flare. Worth watching.

A careful examination of the various imaging which has become available over the last 24 hours as well the ‘track-record’ of the X-flux emmisions since the last X-class incident suggest – strongly – that 11748 has ‘spent itself’ at this point.
Specifically, the return of the “High Band” emmisons (0.5 -4.0 Angstom wavelength) to nearly unmeasureable levels and there remained, has allowed me to come off of “High Alert”. As a suggestion to those who have an interest in all such, a quick comparison of the two graphs whichh are central to our assesment’s of current Solar emmissions, which are the 3-Day and six-hour X-flux plots will clearly show – to even a casual observer – that the behiviour of the Sun has changed dramatically since the emmision of the last Flare.
I began to pronounce on this exact thing following the third flare when such as that did – for a time – as described, but THEN that behaviour changed in just a few hours back to what had been seen previously, forcing me to re-evaluate my position…subequently we DID see the final flare which was an X-1.2. Unless, and ONLY we were to see an abrupt increase in the High band emmisons I am not now worried…for it is those which serve as both the indicator and driving force behind virtually all major Solar excursions

What is the furthest north or south of the Sun’s equator that you have seen a major sunspot? I have seen a couple get up to near 50 degrees.
To me just from like what you say from the casual observation, AR1748 looks blown out. You live in Missouri and must see this a lot with summertime thunderstorms. Why is it the NOAA still maintains a 60% chance of another X flare? This is updated at UT 22:00 today, or about 6 hours. What is it with NOAA, why are they not seeing what you are seeing?

As far a the ‘precursor to a precursor’ well, there really isn’t any such. Solar dynamics are understood ‘somewhat better’ than our own tectonic ones are, but only marginally…there yet remains MUCH which we do NOT know. As a practical matter, seeing an increase in the number of spots monthly, as well as an increase in the average spot size is AN indication that things are ‘heating-up’ but in the ‘zone’ between there is little that can be pointed at which can answer the question clearly day by day. THAT, is and remains a matter of close, careful examination of the relevant imaging on a daily basis….much as the patterns YOU ‘see’ in the tectonic realm are a matter of careful observations…
As a point of note more relative to your second point above I offer this; As a matter of historic FACT, it is the case that at the start of EACH new Solar cycle, we see the distribution of ‘Sun Spots’ go through a known, well-established procession, that being that in the beginning of a new cycle the distribution lies at it’s farthest from the Solar equator. As each cycle proceeds, we ‘see’ that distribution CHANGE, and bit by bit it draws fractionally closer to the equator over time until the cycle completes. At that point, the incidence of sunspots is seen to rather quickly DECREASE until it is plain that the cycle has concluded. Thereafter, we enter into a period of extreme Solar quiescence during which for multiple years, few if ANY Sunspots are seen at all. THIS state of affairs is a PRIMARY means of evaluating such, ie, to ascertain when a cycle is beginning or ending, and is the basic reason we have, and track the “Smoothed Sunspot Number’ which you will see in various places referred to again and again. It is rare to see much of anything ABOVE 55 degree’s latitude, it would seem that the physical expression of the Sun’s dynamism does not have that as a functional expression, physically.
Lastly, you note that NOAA is STILL regarding the probability of another X-flare as VERY HIGH…this state of affairs with NOAA is chronic and always exists and is likely a simple issue of ‘laziness’ of those employed thereat…additionally, they ARE always, a day late…and a dollar short…in getting realistic figures out in the Evening reports.
As a final thought here: The propensity of a region to flare is much more closely estimated by two and only two things; the relative size/complexity of a given spot region…and the history thereof. Obviously, the absence of an observed pattern of prior activity leaves one ONLY with what can be judged from the relevant imaging. With respect to 11748 we – thankfully, now – have both from which to accurately estimate the true, current potential.

I started to say something, but he held up his hand and stopped me. The laughter stopped and he got real serious. “You wanted the truth. And I gave it to you. How you deal with it…well, that’s your lookout, not mine. I’m just gonna keep on fishin. At least til the cat wakes up!”
I got up from the rock and looked at him. He’s so inscrutable sometimes, it’s hard to tell if he’s pulling my leg or not. This time, I don’t think he was. The realization of that, and the import of what he’d said, sent a wave of sadness over me. I walked away, without even saying goodbye.
I got back to the truck and rolled out on the highway. For most of the day, I was in a funk. Waves of melancholy kept washing over me. An hour or so after dark, I stopped at a rest area outside of Little Rock. I stared up at the billions of stars, thinking of the uselessness of it all. The Illusion.
There wasn’t anybody around to hear me, so I said aloud, ‘Damn you, Hermit! Why’d you have to tell me that!?’
Then I asked the stars, ‘Now what? What do I do with this information? How do I go on with any sense of purpose in life? And what would the Hermit say if I asked him that question?’
Then came the answer. I’m not sure if the voice was only in my head. The way that old guy gets around, he might have been standing off in the dark, just out of sight. Still, it was probably just one of those mental voices you hear sometimes.
It said, “If I was you, I’d just keep livin’. Live like you don’t know the end. Hellfire, boy! I didn’t tell you the truth just to bum you out. And if you had any sense, you’d keep preppin. Keep lovon’ your family and friends. Keep laughin’ every chance you get. You asked for the truth and I gave it to you. Now, deal with it like I do. Just keep fishin’ til the cat wakes up!”
Suddenly, it was all okay! I understood! As I pulled onto the interstate, I found a classic rock station, and by the time I hit high gear, I was singin’ at the top of my lungs…’Cat scratch fever! Derr derr derr! Cat scratch fever! Derr derr derr derr!’

Why Grandfathers are just different.
There was a loving grandfather who always made a special effort to spend time with his son’s family on weekends. Every Saturday morning he would take his 5 year old granddaughter our for a drive in the car for some quality time (pancakes, icecream, etc) just the two of them.
One particular saturday, however, he had a terrible cold and could not get out of bed. He knew his granddaughter always looked forward to their drives and would be terribly disappointed. Luckily, his wife came to the rescue and said that she would take their granddaughter for her weekly drive and some breakfast.
When they returned, the little girl anxiously ran upstairs to check on her grandfather who was still in bed. “Well, did you enjoy your ride with grandma?” he asked.
“Umm not really Papa, it was really boring. We didn’t see a single asshole, queer, piece of crap, horse’s ass, socialist left winger, blind bastard, dipshit, rag-headed camel humper, or son of a bitch anywhere we went!”
“We just drove around and grandma smiled at everyone we saw. I really didn’t have any fun.”

Just had another precursor earthquake south of Africa. When this area has been hit before 11 out of 11 times a major earthquake followed within 15 days. That is now the third time in a row 100% of the time these earthquakes on plate boundaries have lead to major quakes. The two times before sure enough a major quake hit, in very short peridos of time. This third time should be no different. Again Mexico to Chile is on target, 17 out of 19 times in the past 6 weeks. Back on march 14, 1979 after this area south of Africa was hit 2 days before, a 7.6 hit Mexico. On June 13, 2005, 8 days after this region had a quake, a 7.8 hit Bolivia. On the same day back on August 4, 1998 a 7.2 hit off the Galapagos Islands. Big ones follow this region having earthquakes as this is the African plate once again on the move.
Here are the areas that have been hit before and should be on alert for a good size shaker by May 30.
High Probability:
Mexico and Central America.
Ecuador to Central Chile.
Western China and northern India.
Northern Japan
Moderate chance:
Soloman Islands to Fiji
Western Indonesia
Mid Atlantic Ridge
Hawaii
There is about a 95% chance of a major earthquake hitting the world by May 30 and a 80% chance of one of the above areas getting it.
There is a 80% chance of a 7+ quake
65% chance of a 7.5+ quake.
50% chance of a 8+ quake.
20% chance of a 8.5+ quake.

Another earthquake several hundred miles to the west of the first one south of Africa. This one broke the streak as 12 out of 13 times this area has lead to a major earthquake. This one makes Mexico to Chile now 18 out of 20 times that it has been hit with a major quake after a plate boundary has been hit. Something bad is coming to that region. Peru is really a target with this region afterwards. Every other place is just confirmed with the above comment that much more so. Add south Alaska, Iran, and Eastern Russia to the moderate chance of getting hit with this additional precursor quake.
It is now likely, 75% chance there will be 2 or more major quakes, 6.5+. After this area gets hit major earthquakes tend to swarm. Back 3 years ago after this area had a quake, 4 major earthquakes followed in western Indonesia, Eastern Russia, Peru, and Mexico.
Crap, just as I am talking a 5.7 just hit the Mid Atlantic Ridge down by the Antarctica. Checking on this one to see what this lead up to. 2 earthquakes here in the past 40 years, lead to big earthquakes in western China, Fiji, and Kermadec Islands.
I have NEVER seen the African plate do this before in such a short time span. This last one, the South American plate was affected also a lot. I would not want to be on the Australian plate right now, nor on the South American, Cocos, Caribbean, or in Mexico. Someone is going to get seriously whacked, highly likely the places mentioned above. maybe everyone could check it out down between Antarctica and Africa, it is very active and this means large earthquakes are coming, this is almost certain.

When oyu have a clear ‘read’ on th3e implications at hand – inclusive of that, last datum – are of REAL interest to me, be asured.

@ JustOneGuy. The Asian and the North American plates are the largest plates, but like some muscle bound smaller wrestler, the African plate is the most solid and when it moves, other plates are really influenced. The African plate has some of the oldest rock strata that there is and that density plays much in the way the other plates behave. The African plate in the south like this has the most barring on the Australian plate and the South American plate. This much movement in such a short time I am sure has happened before, but I have not seen it.
Satori above sent a link about India and the areas around it possibly getting hit with a 9 in the future. Movement like this pushes much strain on almost all sections of the Australian plate, including the northern section that India is on. I would also not forget about the Arabian plate that is Turkey down through the Red sea and over to Pakistan and Iran. Back on August 4, 1998 a swarm hit just ONE of these locations on the borders of the African plate and the Galapagos Islands region had a 7.2 which is huge for this area. While this only scared a bunch of marine iguanas and rockhopper penguins, it shows just how much affect the African plate has on other plates.
The system I have used has only been wrong 4 times, and one of them is the Central America and South America zone that should have been hit by April 30. At that time there was 10 out of 11 precursor quakes that said this region was going to have a major earthquake. Nothing happened. That tells me that with the speed of the Cocos plate that most of the western Central American countries borders, that there is some critical jammed up tension locked up there. Since then 8 out of 9 more times these plate boundaries have had quakes that in the past have targeted Central and South America.
When you have 18 out of 20 times precursor quakes hit various spots around the world that before have hit Central and South America, and still nothing yet has happened, that is very bad. The frequency of large earthquakes has to do with how fast the plates and faults are moving. The Cocos for example is moving in spots almost 3 times as fast as the San Andreas, and it doesn’t wait much time before having a high 6 to mid 7. This time though, nothing. The Nazca plate had several quakes along the western portions of it, and before this when Easter Island region had this activity 100% of the time South America had a large shaker. Again nothing. The same goes true for the high activity southeast of the Falkland Islands on the Scotia plate, again NOTHING.
When you have all this activity, and in the past very high, or perfect, records on large earthquakes hitting Central and South America after this and nothing yet happening, something horrible is coming. All logic points to this as plate follow patterns. I wish they had records of what happened before the largest recorded quake occurred in 1960 in Chile at 9.5. The more these quakes occur, especially along the African plate boundaries that more I think that this region is in for a mega quake. It could be western China, as this area is primed for a big one. South and Central America cannot be ignored.
The maximum reasonably largest mega quake that could hit this area probably would be 9.7 to 9.8, but extraordinary events would have to happen for this. The most likely region for this would southern Columbia/Ecuador to about Southern Bolivia/nothern Chile, or about from the Equator to near the Tropic of Capricorn. Central and southern Chile have expelled most of the strain built up in 1960 and the 8.8 three years ago. Central South America though still has not had that mega quake in at least several centuries. The closest thing to this was a 8.5 in Chile/ Argentina border region on November 11, 1922, and offshore Peru on June 23, 2001 at 8.4. Lima was hit on October 20, 1687 with a mega quake. In short, this area is way overdue for a mega earthquake, and maybe a super mega quake.
