Editor’s Note: In a previous report on national security ineptitude we asked what the US government was preparing for given the implementation of a nationwide surveillance web, the militarization of our police forces, and the stockpiling of ammunition and weaponry. In the following report from Infowars.com Paul Joseph Watson answers the question. They’re not preparing for an external foreign or terrorist threat. They’re doing all this for the purpose of maintaining complete control over the American people, who they have, in no uncertain terms, deemed enemies of the state. The documents cited in the report are directly from the US Department of Homeland Security and are to be shown only to “trusted” agents of the organization. Not even those involved in the exercises actually knew why they were there or what they were doing.
Leaked Homeland Security documents obtained by Infowars reveal details of a joint DHS/FEMA national exercise set to take place this week, one of the components of which revolves around an effort to counter online dissent by a group called “Free Americans Against Socialist Tyranny,” which is disgruntled at the imposition of martial law after an earthquake in Alaska.
The document again underscores the federal government’s obsession with characterizing libertarians and conservatives as some kind of extremist radical threat.
The document (PDF) was leaked by an individual affiliated with Stewart Rhodes’ Oathkeepers organization and passed on to Infowars. It is entitled National Exercise Program – Capstone Exercise 2014 – Scenario Ground Truth.
The document is intended for “U.S. Department of Homeland Security Trusted Agents Only” and is “disseminated only on a
need-to-know basis.” Even the role players involved in the exercise itself are prohibited from seeing the files.
The exercise is designed to evaluate readiness in preparation for a catastrophic incident, natural disaster or major act of terrorism. Some of the scenarios which will be in play during the exercise include a series of earthquakes, tsunamis and a nuclear weapons accident.
On page 125 of the document, a scenario is outlined whereby a group calling itself “Free Americans against Socialist Tyranny” responds to “The U.S. Northern Command mission of Defense Support to Civil Authorities” (or the imposition of martial law) by launching a protest campaign on social media and potentially engaging in cyber attacks.
According to the scenario, the campaign is driven by suspicion that “the government is responsible for the Alaska earthquake and a “hacktivist” manifesto.”
“The U.S. Northern Command mission of Defense Support to Civil Authorities has led to increased activity by some anti-government organizations,” states the document. “Currently, the most vocal organization is Free Americans against Socialist Tyranny; using social media, they advertise anti-U.S. rhetoric focusing on the Department of Defense as well as to recruit like-minded individuals to join their “cause”.
“While some Free Americans against Socialist Tyranny members are capable of conducting adverse cyber operations, the greatest threat is current government employees sympathetic to their cause,” the document adds. “It is believed that there are employees within US Northern Command, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, National Guard, and Defense Information Systems Agency that may support Free Americans against Socialist Tyranny doctrine based on individual comments on social media sites. Free Americans against Socialist Tyranny sympathizers may include both former and current members of the military with training on satellite communications, computer network defense, network operations, as well as military command and control.” (Screenshot)
The scenario also suggests that Northern Command members sympathetic to Free Americans Against Socialist Tyranny may attempt to hack the North American Aerospace Defense Command as a form of retaliation.
This is by no means the first time that the Department of Homeland Security has characterized anti-big government Americans as domestic extremists.
A study funded by the Department of Homeland Security, details of which emerged in 2012, characterized Americans who are “suspicious of centralized federal authority,” and “reverent of individual liberty” as “extreme right-wing” terrorists.
As we have exhaustively documented on numerous occasions, federal authorities and particularly the Department of Homeland Security have been involved in producing a deluge of literature which portrays liberty lovers and small government advocates as extremist radicals.
The document also mentions the threat posed by “disgruntled military and Department of Defense civilians,” which ties into the talking point, repeatedly promoted by the DHS and other federal agencies, that returning veterans pose a major domestic terror threat.
The Capstone Exercise 2014 document makes it clear that a key part of the Department of Homeland Security and FEMA’s preparation for the aftermath of major catastrophic incidents in the United States is centered around combating online dissent which will be sparked as a result of federal authorities and military assets instituting martial law, or what the document refers to as “Defense Support to Civil Authorities”.
This is particularly chilling given reports that emerged in 2006 concerning a nationwide FEMA program under which Pastors and other religious representatives were trained to become secret police enforcers who teach their congregations to “obey the government” in preparation for a declaration of martial law, property and firearm seizures, and forced relocation.
The fact that the DHS is focusing its cyber security efforts during a major national exercise not on targeting foreign state actors or terrorists but on combating online dissent by conservatives is sure to increase concerns that the federal agency once again has libertarians, patriots and small government activists in the crosshairs.

There was a link here yesterday so I scanned the document. From what I saw it was a running list based on dates of “events”. But I saw no events, just some conditionals. Like they already did some type of previous assessment and moved board pieces around to play with.

I have read some about Warren and believe you are off on the timeline. I think the saddleback church came before the book, I remember reading about him in the early 90’s and I think the book was after that. But you summed things up rather nicely.

So, about 3 weeks ago I decided to go to St. John’s since its closer. After mass I grab a bulletin because the preist for this parish always writes an opinion peice. So, I’m reading and I can’t believe what I’m seeing. He wrote a very slanted article about the 2nd amendment under the guise of Violence Prevention Month. Anyways, here’s the bulletin, see for yourself. I think it’s a very dangerous game to be misinforming people and using the church to do it. It’s bad enough that people already associate liberalism/pedophelia with Catholicism, now they’re trying to be anti-gun too? WTF! I am strong in my faith and I will never surrender my firearms. I like to take the St. Michael approach…kick ass and take names!

It is all about trust. Do any of you trust the U.S. government with your own lives? I wish I could, but I would be crazy if I said so. Why should foreign leaders trust a country’s leaders that are bold faced liars and work on deception as the governing policy towards others countries AND their own citizens that pay the bills for the country to function.
One has to ask yourself this. In a country that is SUPPOSE TO adhere to the right and freedom to have an opinion, AND that Constitutional right to express that opinion about how the government is doing, right or wrong. Why that same government would put people that fully support the Constitution and the rights to the people to prevent tyranny would put those same people on some blacklist surely shows which pathway the country, ANY country has taken.

Braveheat, I wish I was as optomistic as you on the 100 million number. In the Revolutionary War only 10% of the population actually supported the Continental’s quest at the beset and gradually gained support to about a third. The other third were considered “yeoman” who were adverse to war and remained neutral while the remainder, Tories, back the British.
When the hammer comes down the question will be how many bravehearts will we have out of that 100 million who wil not comply to the demands of the Government and our “preachers?”

First I would like to see the entire document (all 160 pages). Does anyone know where we can get that? I used to be a big Alex Jones fan. Not anymore. I still read the articles as you can always get a little meat of a bone. I agree the Govt is about as anti-Christian as you can be, but believe it or not I don’t think this program started out that way. Let me explain.
Back around 2000-2005, we had a commander at LAPD who was a seriously religious and good man. He believed that to combat gangs, drugs and all forms of shit heads on the streets, the young gang members (who very often had no male figure in their lives DUE TO their fathers being into gangs, drugs and currently in prison)needed to find religion, restore the family somehow and give their young gang members a reason to leave the life in the street gangs and show them that there were better things out there.
The program actually started fairly well, and preachers and good hearted families worked with the kids who had not yet gone down the road of the total shit head yet. They got several kids out of gangs and turned several lives around.
However, like Rahm Emanual said, never let a good crisis (or in this case program) go to waste. The command staff then instituted the federal program you see in the video above because the framework was already there with good programs designed to help kids out of gangs. The base for the indoctrination was already set up.
Was this the purpose from the beginning? In the program I detailed it was absolutely not. That same commander refused to allow officers to wear BDUs and would not allow officers to walk around like the SS. I talked to him t length and he understood how easy the transition would be from good intentions to total control over the citizens. He would bring these things up in meetings and he was labeled as a “member of the God squad”. He retired in 2007 and the programs have been adopted to what you see above.
Funny how he was right again, huh. But I truly believe there are still a majority of good people in the military and police departments. If you wanna see where the problems are, look to their command staffs. The USAF just purged more commanders in the Nuclear program. How many old school commanders have been purged now and replaced with commanders who are loyal to the new regime/order? Hitler did the same thing. But remember, the PDF and info on this program was leaked by a concerned officer loyal to the Constitution, and in the scenario itself it labels that very person who leaked the info as the greatest threat.
Only time will tell I guess.

– When my new permit arrives, will the Government mail it to me? No. I have to take time during business hours, drive back to the courthouse, stand in line and pick up my permit myself

What state are you in? We have lifetime permits here. I got mine last March after waiting 3 months. I agree it sux to get finger printed but I’m happy I can carry without risking a felony. It’s a trade off that is against the constitution but I have a family to support and protect.
I didn’t have to answer any questions. Just pay the state fee and the local fee. As long as you pass the background check your good to go.

Only problem is, we need a carry permit if we want to go and carry concealed in some of the other less free states. The more the West attempts to “isolate” Russia and pushes it away from its “core values” and of course the US Dollar, the more Russia will seek the safety of a non-dollar based system. We have previously described how Putin has been scrambling to enmesh Russia in tight bilateral commodity-based trade with both China and India, and now it is Russia’s turn to announce it would seek its own “national payment settlement system” following last week’s surprising and unmandated service halts by both Visa and MasterCard, which as Vladimir Putin said earlier today, will be a “bid to reduce economic dependence on the West.”
Putin observed, cited by AFP, that Russia is aggressively looking to trim its dependence on the west for payment settlement: “In countries such as Japan and China these systems work, and work very well,” Putin told lawmakers in televised remarks.
“Initially, they started out solely as national systems limited to their own markets, their own territory, their own population but they are becoming more popular right now… Why should we not do it? We should definitely do it and we will do it,” he said, noting that Russia’s Central Bank and the government have been looking into the matter.
And as everybody knows, while the biggest trump card over the West Russia has are its energy exports, one can retort that Western leverage over Russia is in the form of SWIFT, or the “Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication”, aka the umbrella framework for all interbank transactions taking place in a petrodollar world. If and when the day comes when Russia and/or China and/or India and/or any other BRICs and other nations who are tired of the hegemony of the fading US superpower, decide to create their own version of Swift, all bets on the reserve currency for the past century are off.

Actually the exercises themselves have been planned since 2012 (and before). I believe in one form or another we’re all on the same sheet, but even good LEO’s abuse the public trust. Many of my former Soldiers became cops and told me stories of things they’d do just because they could get away with it.

I agree totally. These days any LEO that would actually follow the Constitution seems to be suspected of something. It is even noticeable in the more popular TV shows now that the writers are scripting things to try to give a sense of “normalcy” to violations of our rights. I’m talking about the Bill of Rights. The characters on the shows seem to see the public as their minions instead of the people they serve.
Notice that when you ask a public employee who they work for, they almost always reply “the government.” While there is nothing wrong with that reply, the attitude that goes with it usually implies “I’m here to babysit (watch) you.” This horse crap attitude is more prevalent among LEOs of all stripes, or code enforcement types.
Many of these government employees are either trained or end up with the attitude that they need to run our lives, and cannot understand why on earth any of us would resent the very “help” they are providing.
So yes, I believe that in most cases we cannot trust TPTB or anyone that works for them.

I have been pushed to my limit. I pray every day that I do not have one of these crazy encounters with any of these government thugs similiar to the ones we read about every single day. I will not be able to go along willingly. Take for example the raid of Ares Arms. I do not have the financial capability to supposedly defend my self in court. If that was my business and I knew in advance that they were gonna raid one of two things would have happened. There would have been nothing there when they arrived, or there would have been a massive physical confrontation. Another example would be my kids, there is NO WAY IN HELL that they would be allowed to take them and me try to prove my innocence in court to get them back. They will simply not touch my children and I will make sure of that by any means neccasary. If my child was in the hospital like the story we read the other day, there is no way I would be fighting for custody in court. I would retrieve my child from that hospital regardless of the cost.

What would you do if you looked out your kitchen window right now, and saw 4 or 5 unidentified masked men with guns, creeping across your lawn towards your house?
What would you do if you were with the wife in the beer aisle grabbing a brewski, when a man with a rifle appeared out of nowhere a few yards from you, his rifle swinging in your direction?
What would you do if you were on your way home on the interstate and an EF5 category tornado touched down less than a mile from you?
What would you do if your truck blew a radiator hose out in the middle of nowhere? Or busted a fan belt?
We can’t prepare for everything, but we sure can try to think our way through, even if it never happens.

As former Army Intel who’s had the opportunity to work with DHS, CIA, FBI and other branches of the military, the document doesn’t look legit based on the security classifictio markings, befoue i left the military last year, they standardized classifications throughout the intelligence community. ‘Trusted Agents Only’ seem far too broad, and would have a classification of either Inclassified, secret, or in the case of ‘targetting us personel/citizens’ possibly top secret, with appropriate color coding and font sizes. Say what you want but I’m not convinced of this documents credibility.

I guess the government knows we will never throw away our phones and internet connections just to stop them from spying on our every communication. Many people are stupid enough that when the SHTF they will be happy to be stripped of their rights. People actually believe because government has so many generous social welfare programs shows they care. How ignorant! The fact is officialdom believes in redistribution, taking from the productive ones gives them power and giving it to the unproductive ones gives them votes. In reality however, government despises us all, and only sees people as to how they can be used to further government control.
I don’t know why so many people aren’t getting it, well actually I do; we have 2 generations of mostly dumb and apathetic people in this country. For example; at work I see recent college graduates that have little to no critical thinking skills and almost no iniative. They have been trained to only do as told. These same persons believe anything and everything government tells them, and that government knows best. Even when proven otherwise, and or when they are negatively affected. These people think its just best to passively comply.
I though about it, if I was a dictator, I would want a country full of people just like that. Easy to manipulate, easy to control, believe anything, even shape their morality.

@ sixpack. First of all I DON’T FEAR MONGER. I look for signs to ATTEMPT to forecast potential dangerous situations. I do the same thing with earthquakes, trying to see a trigger point. The past 10 major earthquakes have been accurately forecasted from the precursor earthquake activity. Darkness is the best time to attack an enemy IF you have the advantage of being able to see better in the dark than your opponent. Israel has used this over and over again from the attack on the Iraqi nuclear reactor back in the 1980’s to present day attacks on Syrian and Hezbollah missile shipments. 10 day window each month. Russia is primed and ready, and darkness would minimize Russia fatalities and make the march into Ukraine that much easier. Doesn’t mean Putin is going to take advantage of this during this window, but the advantage IS THERE for the taking.
This is ONLY a head’s up to a POTENTIAL start of the war. Israel could be the one that attacks this New Moon cycle or Russia, OR both of them. Israel completely shut down their 103 embassies and is STILL on extremely high alert for any aircraft coming into their airspace. WHY? This looks real suspecious to me. As a prepper/survivalist it should be ALWAYS the goal of trying to see something before it happens to get a jump on the masses. Just to illustrate my point about your o’dark thirty attack theory, note that two of the most horrific attacks on American soil, were IN BROAD DAYLIGHT! The Pearl Harbor attack occurred at DAWN, and 9/11 was well into the average work day morning on Sept 11th. If you go look up some other terrible attacks, on ANY country, you will find that nearly ALL OF THE MOST HORRIFIC ATTACKS were executed in BROAD DAYLIGHT….NOT in the night during a lunar eclipse moon.

@ Thinker. I don’t understand why sixpack said I was fear mongering. I said that after the Atka area had a mid 5 pointer that Yellowstone would get active, which it did. I did not say there was some imminent eruption or large quake coming to Yelklowstone, just more activity. I think I am very reserved in not over blowing situations. I never say that California is going to have some 10 pointer. I don’t say that nuclear is unsurvivable. I try to get the facts only. CONCERNED: Thats strange info on all his degrees eh…Most all I read of him, and I recall seeing him on some tv interview when his book sold so many copies was that he was admitting his Past Real job trainings were as a pro psycologist. And that was his orig Job. I think he said he worked for a County govnt and an official psycologist for folks the court mandated must get pro counciling etc.
I distinctly recall what a huge big deal was made of warren never before being trained or schooled in the Preacher buisness.

a plastic explosive filler can be made with potassium chlorate and petroleum jelly this explosive can be detonated using a commercial #8 blasting cap or military blasting cap.
material required:
potassium chlorate from medicine or manufacture of matches
petroleum jelly (Vaseline)
piece of round stick (broom handle)
wide bowl or other container for mixing ingredients
Procedure:
1. spread potassium chlorate crystals thinly on a hard surface. roll the round stick over crystals to crush into a very fine powder until it looks like face powder or white flour.
2.Place 9 parts powdered potassium chlorate and 1 part petroleum jelly in a wide bowl or similar container. mix ingredients with hands (knead) until a uniform paste is obtained.
NOTE: store explosive in waterproof container until ready to use.
