It is natural for a society to search for explanations and motivations in the wake of a man-made tragedy. It is also somewhat natural for people to be driven by their personal biases when looking for someone or something to blame. In recent years, however, our country has been carefully conditioned to view almost every criminal event from an ideological perspective.
The mainstream media now places far more emphasis on the political affiliations and philosophies of “madmen” than it does on their personal disorders and psychosis. The media’s goal, or mission, if you will, is to associate every dark deed whether real or engineered to the political enemies of the establishment, and to make the actions of each individual the collective shame of an entire group of people.
I could sift through a long list of terror attacks and mass shootings in which the establishment media jumped to the conclusion that the perpetrators were inspired by the beliefs of Constitutional conservatives, “conspiracy theorists”, patriots, etc. It is clear to anyone paying attention that the system is going out of its way to demonize those who question the officially sanctioned story, or the officially sanctioned world view. The circus surrounding the latest shooting of multiple TSA agents at Los Angeles International Airport is a perfect example.
Paul Ciancia, the primary suspect in the shooting, was immediately tied to the Liberty Movement by media outlets and the Southern Poverty Law Center, by notes (which we still have yet to see proof of) that law enforcement claims to have found on his person. The notes allegedly use terms such as “New World Order” and “fiat money”, commonly covered by those of us in the alternative media. The assertion is, of course, that Paul Ciancia is just the beginning, and that most if not all of us involved in the exposure of the globalist agenda are powder kegs just waiting to “go off.” The label often used by the MSM to profile people like Ciancia and marginalize the organizational efforts of liberty based culture is “anti-government.”
The establishment desires to acclimate Americans to the idea that being anti-government is wrong; that it is a despicable philosophy embracing social deviance, aimless violence, isolation and zealotry. Looking beyond the mainstream position, my question is, is it really such a bad thing to be anti-government today?
Conspiracy Realists
The terms “anti-government” and “conspiracy theorist” are almost always used in the same paragraph when mainstream media pundits espouse their propaganda. They are nothing more than ad hominem labels designed to play on the presumptions of the general population, manipulating them into dismissing any and all alternative viewpoints before they are ever heard or explained. The establishment and the media are ill-equipped to debate us on fair terms, and understand that they will lose control if Americans are allowed to hear what we have to say in a balanced forum. Therefore, their only fallback is to bury the public in lies so thick they won’t want to listen to us at all.
The Liberty Movement now has the upper hand in the war for information. The exposure of multiple conspiracies in the past several years alone has given immense weight to our stance, and reaffirmed warnings we gave long ago.
When we spoke out against the invasion of Iraq, commissioned by George W. Bush on the dubious claim that Iraqi weapons of mass destruction were an immediate threat to the security of our nation, we were called “liberals” and “traitors.” Today, Bush and Cheney have both openly admitted that no WMD’s were ever present in the region. When we attempted to educate the masses on the widespread surveillance of innocent people by the NSA, some of them laughed. Today, it is common knowledge that all electronic communications are monitored by the Federal government. When we refused to accept the official story behind the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ Fast and Furious program, we were called “kooks”. Today, it is common knowledge that the Obama Administration purposely allowed U.S. arms to fall into the hands of Mexican cartels. When we roared over the obvious hand the White House played in the Benghazi attack, we were labeled “racists” and “right wing extremists.” Today, it is common knowledge that the White House ordered military response units to stand down and allow the attack to take place. I could go on and on…
Events that were called “conspiracy theory” by the mainstream yesterday are now historical fact today. Have we ever received an apology for this slander? No, of course not, and we don’t expect one will ever surface. We have already gained something far more important – legitimacy.
And what about Paul Ciancia’s apparent belief in the dangers of the “New World Order” and “fiat money”? Are these “conspiracy theories”, or conspiracy realism? The Liberty Movement didn’t coin the phrase “New World Order”, these political and corporate “luminaries” did:
Is economic collapse really just a fairytale perpetrated by “anti-government extremists” bent on fear mongering and dividing society? Perhaps we should ask Alan Greenspan, who now openly admits that he and the private Federal Reserve knew full well they had helped engineer the housing bubble which eventually imploded during the derivatives collapse of 2008.
Or, why not ask the the White House, which just last month proclaimed that “economic chaos” would result if Republicans did not agree to raise the debt ceiling.
Does this make Barack Obama and the Democratic elite “conspiracy theorists” as well?
It is undeniable that government conspiracies and corporate conspiracies exist, and have caused unquantifiable pain to the American people and the people of the world. Knowing this, is it not natural that many citizens would adopt anti-government views in response? Is it wrong to distrust a criminal individual or a criminal enterprise? Why would it be wrong to distrust a criminal government?
The Purpose Behind The Anti-Government Label
When the establishment mainstream applies the anti-government label, they are hoping to achieve several levels propaganda. Here are just a few:
False Association: By placing the alleged “anti-government” views of violent people in the spotlight, the establishment is asserting that it is the political philosophy, not the individual, that is the problem. They are also asserting that other people who hold similar beliefs are guilty by association. That is to say, the actions of one man now become the trespasses of all those who share his ideology. This tactic is only applied by the media to those on the conservative or constitutional end of the spectrum, as it was with Paul Ciancia. For example, when it was discovered that Arizona mass shooter Jared Loughner was actually a leftist, the MSM did not attempt to tie his actions to liberals in general. Why? Because the left is not a threat to the elitist oligarchy within our government. Constitutional conservatives, on the other hand, are.
False Generalization: The term “anti-government” is so broad that, like the term “terrorist”, it can be applied to almost anyone for any reason. The establishment does not want you to distinguish between those who are anti-government for the wrong reasons, and those who are anti-government for the right reasons. Anyone who questions the status quo becomes the enemy regardless of their motives or logic. By demonizing the idea of being anti-government, the establishment manipulates the public into assuming that all government by extension is good, or at least necessary, when the facts actually suggest that most government is neither good or necessary.
False Assertion: The negative connotations surrounding the anti-government stance also suggest that anyone who defends themselves or their principles against government tyranny, whether rationally justified or not, is an evil person. Just look at how Washington D.C. has treated Edward Snowden. Numerous political elites have suggested trying the whistle-blower for treason, or assassinating him outright without due process, even though Snowden’s only crime was to expose the criminal mass surveillance of the American people by the government itself. Rather than apologizing for their corruption, the government would rather destroy anyone who exposes the truth.
False Shame: Does government criminality call for behavior like that allegedly taken by Paul Ciancia? His particular action was not morally honorable or even effective. It helped the establishment’s position instead of hurting it, and was apparently driven more by personal psychological turmoil rather than political affiliation. But, would it be wrong for morally sound and rational Americans facing imminent despotism within government to physically fight back? Would it be wrong to enter into combat with a totalitarian system? The Founding Fathers did, but only after they had exhausted all other avenues, and only after they had broken away from dependence on the system they had sought to fight. Being anti-government does not mean one is a violent and dangerous person. It does mean, though, that there will come a point at which we will not allow government to further erode our freedoms. We will not and should not feel shame in making that stand.
I do not agree with every element of the “anti-government” ethos that exists in our era, but I do see the vast majority of reasons behind it as legitimate. If the establishment really desired to quell the quickly growing anti-government methodology, then they would stop committing Constitutional atrocities and stop giving the public so many causes to hate them. If they continue with their vicious bid to erase civil liberties, dominate the citizenry through fear and intimidation and steal and murder in our name, then our response will inevitably be “anti-government”, and we will inevitably move to end the system as we know it.

It is my right under the Constitution of the United States of America to have any opinion I want to, that including that the present day government is rotten to the core. I am pro Bill Of Rights, my right to freedom of expression, my right to feel and think the way I want. The present day government is doing is best to dissolve those rights, and my right again is to be anti-present day government. That is everyone else’s right to even hate the government. Leadership that acts in the best interest of the nation without concern of what might happen at re-election or affect their personal income is what is needed. I can’t say I have a solution to the problem of the moocher society and criminals (and that might be a redundant statement) that most wouldn’t say is too harsh. But since I can’t agree with the politics of over half the population….looks like we are at an impasse over the direction we will ultimately proceed. Most likely down the toilet…IMHO

I found a 6v sewing machine. There’s a smaller one for about $38 bucks. This is small enough to fit under the seat of a car. Since it’s 6v, I’d adapt it to run on a 6v motorcycle/lawnmower battery. Simple if you know how to spice wire. Probably very economical on solar too.

Just keep reading it over and over and over again.
I’d love for groups to do it at the state level, in front if the Governor’s mansion. Outside of every Rep and Senator’s house. Remind them of the “employee handbook” they agreed to follow.

Maybe it would draw enough support at the state level it could wake some people up and start something bigger, peacefully of course. Enough people want to do something, they just don’t know where to start.

I have always been an independent thinker, even when I was in school. What I was taught in public sschool was balanced out with some “homeschooling”, so to speak. I’ve always been the “odd person out” in the eyes of my peers. I don’t think conventionally, period! I’ve always thought outside the box. I don’t fit inside of anyone’s box. That’s when I first began questioning government’s intentions toward we the people. that was August, 1992. Then on April 19, 1993, after the clintons came in, I saw the Branch Davidians get burned alive at Mt. Carmel on TV by the FBI. That was when I first took my position and drew my line in the sand. I knew then that there would eventually be a war between the people and the federal government. Ever since Ruby Ridge the feds have proven time and again that they have something against us, that there is nothing benevolent about them. Anyone who thinks government is for the people is living in the biggest fantasyland imaginable. After 9-11-2001, their intentions toward us became even more pronounced. When DHS was created, somehow I knew they would become the core of an American Gestapo. I used to believe the FBI would be that core. When the kenyan was campaigning in 2008, he called for a civilian national security force and it’s still being formed last I heard. Since this government is anti-American, anti-liberty, anti-everything we hold near and dear to our hearts, I believe it’s only natural that we become antigovernment. We’ve actually been forced to adopt such a position. How the hell can anyone feel any allegiance, any loyalty, anything good toward a government that intends to eventually destroy all of us? We’re all being forced into a nightmare scenario none of us ever wanted. I don’t want this war any more than anyone else here, but the fact is that it is going to happen, and our only choice is fight or surrender. Surrender is not part of my vocabulary. My mom was a teacher for 32 years in the public schools. She retired early, at 55 back in ’96 because she couldn’t stand teaching what she was being forced to teach. She was in one of the largest systems in the state. She served on many boards for many years and fought to keep the unions out of her township. They tried to intimidate her, scare her, do whatever they could to get the unions in. She didn’t budge!
To this day, the teachers in this township are not union, but they still have to teach the lies this govt has forced upon them. Many “true” teachers have left because of it. Very sad….

I posted in a previous thread about my dad having his masters in education. My mom did as well. Both have always walked the Patriot line their entire careers. They were old school teachers, no pun intended, who became teachers because they wanted to teach. Not to get into a union and sit on their asses while their kids failed.
I used to sit up to 3 hours each night, when my sons were in school, undoing some of the crap they learned each day at school and teaching them the correct way. Reading, math, everything. Best thing I ever did!

Interesting metaphor, but for me I don’t think it applies.
My mother told me about an incident with my sister when we were small. My sister was the “good” one. She did things right, stayed on the good side of parents and teachers, didn’t really rock the boat. She died last year, but she was a wonderful wife and mother, everybody loved her. But one day when we were little, she mouthed off to mom in a shocking way. So shocking that mom can’t even remember what exactly she said. But mom says her hand just sort of jerked up and slapped her face of its own accord. Whatever she said was so rude, so surprising, so AWFUL that mom slapped her without even thinking about it. That was the only time either of my parents ever struck either of us.
But I think when the war starts, the trigger will be something that the government does that affects a lot of people just like that. Maybe it’ll be a sudden ban on private firearm ownership, or an out-of-the-blue declaration of martial law. I really have no idea what form it will take. But when it happens, nobody will have to guess whether or not they like it or what to do about it. People will just know instantly that it’s time to pick a side, because the world is about to change.
I’ve felt this uncomfortable charge in the air of this country since maybe 2006 or 2007. I started prepping, though I didn’t know for what or even that “prepping” was a “thing”. I just knew that something was coming and I had to try to be ready. I’m still just trying to be ready. But in one of our planning sessions back then, I remember my wife and I did as honest a threat assessment as we could, including everything from the economy to the military to “The Fourth Turning” to any number of other factors. A lot of it was patchy guesswork and grasping at straws, but our best guess was that the wheels would fly off the wagon sometime in the middle of the teens, so we decided that we were preparing ideally for some unknown event that would happen in or about 2015. I’ve kept track of that estimate in the years since, and it’s never really changed much. I still think that sometime about 2015 is the most likely time for the balloon to go up.
We have three branches of government, the political, the corporate and the media. The political has taken our freedom, the corporate has taken our jobs and the media has taken our morality. To say I’m anti government is to say I’m anti snake, I just don’t want to get close enough to bet bitten, especially with obamacare, the death panel would deny me the anti venom.

The racists posts on this site is soul deadening, but i am glad i found a site that is about prepping, because i have a BIG problem.
I am a paraplegic, and am restricted from free access to outside of my house unless for a medical appointment via ambullete transportation since hurricane sandy; i don’t know if my basement will be rebuilt before God flips the switch.
I live in Brooklyn, N.Y. with my parents, and When SHTF, i will be limited to assist with things that a person in a wheelchair restricted indoors can help with. Other than that, any potential gardening or battles will have to be handled by my parents and dear old grandmother(very capable yet stubborn little brother went to the marine corps). This is where the problem lies.
My parents are hard to crack when it comes to “conspiracy” stuff. They both are aware of this government operating by money over citizen welfare, and the middle eastern wars were solely for profit, but they still feel Obama is doing the best with what he was left with, and still vote for the best candidate. My dad will retort with “where did you hear that from?” or “How do you know it’s true? You read too much crap from the internet” whenever i inform him of something. My mother is a bit more receptive, but have blown me off twice with a “not right now” or “i have to go do something, next time” when i tried to show her some videos on the coming economic crisis resulting in FUBAR.
I know nothing of prepping besides the obvious hoarding non-perishables, stockpiling firepower, and growing veggies. At least i can be a very skilled non-perishable hoarder.
Does anyone know of any definitive, solid evidence that i can show my parents that will get them to act? I mean something to really make there jaws drop, and stay there on the floor. I know of a few YouTube videos, but something that cannot be refuted. I want to tell them of God already having this mapped out through is words in the Bible, but i CANNOT come at them half cocked with this. Any info will be greatly appreciated. After i get my parents on board, then i can move onto family, who just happens to be just as ignorant as my pops.
Then any tips or info for a disabled person for a SHTF lifestyle in the city? I got a competent upper body, but i fear that me being possibly confined to indoors will severely limit my contributions, like “shoot at anybody that busts through the door” type tasks. I am sorry that you are having trouble convincing your parents. All preppers fight this issue daily. It is extremely frustrating trying to convince others of what is coming. I can only say that I would compile a list of possible disasters. There are so many. Some your parents will think are crazy. Some like the government debt being 17 trillion probably will not effect them. I will never understand how people think we can pay that much money back. Oh well that is the frustration that most of us face on this site. All we can do is keep trying. Maybe we can win a few over here and there.

By the same token, how long are Christians today who say they believe in the Second Amendment (and the rest of the Bill of Rights) going to keep sending their tithes and offerings to these churches where the pastors refuse to publicly resist these draconian gun control bills such as were recently introduced by Obama and Feinstein? How long are they going to keep filling the pews of these do-nothing churches? As long as these say-nothing pastors see their pews and offering plates full, don’t expect anything to change.
I will say it plainly: if you attend a church and didn’t hear your pastor oppose the Obama/Feinstein gun control bills from the pulpit earlier this year, YOU NEED TO GET OUT OF THAT CHURCH. The only thing holding this republic together is the people’s right to keep and bear arms–especially semi-automatic rifles with large-capacity magazines. By refusing to resist evil, your pastor has become an enemy of liberty. Wittingly or not, he is helping to put the chains of slavery around the necks of your children and grandchildren. Why would you stay and support such a pastor and church?

Within a few years, 2-3 is figured, most of you will either see the light and “Resign” your position, or the majority will simply, and unnecessarily die from starvation, and that’s “Check Mate”. Resigning allows for a possible ‘rematch’ but Check Mate is final. This is the easier and more desirable outcome. But if not, the second scenario has been planned for as well. All those deaths from disease and starvation will leave a gaping hole in the middle of the country. There are many foreign farmers and craftsmen that will be allowed emigrate and take over the farms and factories should you choose Check Mate. And all this with hardly a shot fired. There will be no invasion such as “Red Dawn” that fires your imaginations, just a cold bleak waiting game until you either give up and join us, or die a very slow and undignified death. And since the winner always writes the history books, your names will not be emblazoned on any monument to freedom and bravery. You will fade into past; un-honored, unwept, and unremembered. I’ve played chess all my life, and one very important thing I learned is that life is NOT chess. In life, the pieces can walk away from the board. They can stop playing the game. They can even change the rules. The elites (who are not liberals or conservatives but globalists) will lose because of their hubris, which makes them foolishly believe that the game is static. It is not. The game can change at any given moment. When establishment cronies find themselves facing painful consequences for their trespasses (and they will), only then will they realize how deluded they actually are.

I do play chess although it is very hard to find someone else to play a game. Many have been playing checkers. I agree that our country’s future is bleak. The domino’s are in place to fall. That does not mean I have to give up.

Professor thanks for your thoughts. My mother taught me to play chess at a young age. Wish we could have a game. I believe most preppers could play chess very well. Even if they have never played before. Preppers are critical thinkers and know the game is coming to a close. It may not be chess but they have looked at the signs and know a great storm is coming.

The criminals are using injectable drugs (syringes) with ruffie or heroine in the syringe the criminal injects a women ( or chosen victim) they bump into , than act as though they want to help out the incapacitated person,( women typically trust other women , the criminals know this and are using other women to capture women) robbing them once they get them to their car, or bathroom, dressing room etc.. or out right abducting the person. By the time the victim comes to, they are no where that they recognize and are tied up and already in the hands of those with nefarious intent.
With X-mas shopping and holiday shopping on the horizon this could be something to be wary about, especially you women, don’t shop alone, don’t allow yourself to be herded into a group you are not with , don’t allow people to be too close to you or bump into you, stay with your group.
If you see this happen, or notice a person out of it in a public setting that normally looks like they wouldn’t be on drugs in public , be watchful and take pictures descriptions of the people around them, seeming to “help” and if possible follow them get pertinent info ..car make license number etc. call the authorities and hope that they will help.

Is it wrong? I have been thinking about the Civilian Inmate Labor Program lately and the amount and type of force required to implement that. Something has to happen first, red/blue/yellow, does their litmus test check for color blindness? Is it wrong to identify potential threats to your life? Cracking the outer shell of the “my government right or wrong” mentality takes patience and FACTS. Remember, you are dealing with a mindset that has been bombarded with years of conditioning and programming. You must first determine what about government your parents most admire.
Then you gently ‘disassemble’ that mental image of government with facts that are tangible and irrefutable.
You won’t have far to go researching those facts as they are at your fingertips. I’ve learned this the hard way as I used to ‘force feed’ information to friends and family who found themselves overwhelmed at the volume of facts I presented. Their natural reaction was to reject this information in it’s entirety and label me as a nutcase radical. I have refined my approach to ‘spoon feeding’ bits of information to those hungry enough to accept it. The results of my efforts have been mostly successful. Hope this helps with convincing your parents that your concerns about government are legitimate.
