With all of that job creation being claimed by the Obama administration and disseminated by mainstream media outlets as signs of a sustained recovery you’d think most college graduates would have no trouble keeping up with their bills.

But new data released by the Department of Education tell a different story.

According to the report as many as 33% of American college grads with student loan debt are now in delinquent status on their repayments.

About one-third of borrowers with federal student loans owned by the U.S. Department of Education are late on their payments, according to new federal data.

The figures, released by the Education Department on Thursday, are the first comprehensive look at the delinquency plaguing those who hold federal student loans. By the new metric, which the department has never used before, roughly 33 percent of borrowers were more than five days late on one of their federal student loans as of Dec. 31. (Since the department only released individual figures for its four largest contractors, rather than a total percentage, however, the actual figure may be a few percentage points higher or lower.)

Previous measures had put the delinquency rate much lower, masking the true amount of distress among borrowers trying to make good on their taxpayer-backed debts.

There are currently 41 million Americans who collectively have about $1.1 Trillion in loans outstanding. That means about 13.5 million Americans are currently delinquent on roughly $350 billion in student loan debt.

Several years ago we noted that as many as 85% of broke and jobless college graduates had no choice but to move back in with their parents after they graduated. That was in the midst of the worst recession since the 1930’s, but the latest figures from the Department of Education suggest things are just as bad, if not worse, even though the government says our unemployment rate has dropped from 10% to 5.5% in that same time period.

So where are the jobs? Well, according to a recent article from the Washington Post, officials at the Federal Reserve believe that our economy is at “full employment.”

But as Michael Snyder noted this month, there are at least 10 reasons that show why the unemployment numbers are a massive lie:

But what they are telling us simply does not match the cold, hard reality on the streets.

And since the talking heads on television are proclaiming that we are nearly at “full employment”, that just makes millions upon millions of Americans that can’t seem to find work no matter how hard they try feel even worse than they already do.

If jobs are “easy to get”, then those that are chronically unemployment must have “something wrong” with them.  That is the message that we are being given.  If the mainstream media says that unemployment has gone way down, then anyone that is still unemployed must be really “lazy”, right?

When you are unemployed for an extended period of time, it can really suck the life right out of you.  It can be really tempting to believe that you are viewed as a failure by your family and friends.  And for the government to lie to us like this just makes things even harder.

If you are unemployed and can’t find a job right now, I want you to understand that you are caught in the midst of a long-term downward economic spiral which is going to get a lot worse.

When the government tells you that we are in a “recovery”, they are lying to you.

And as things get more difficult for average Americans, so too will it become tougher for people to pay their expenses, including loan repayments on cars, credit cards, mortgages and student loans.

The fact is, things are not going to get better for most people. They’re going to get worse.

As for the borrowed money held by college students and graduates – that bubble is now exploding. It’s a warning we published last year and we can now see it becoming reality:

College tuition cannot rise indefinitely. Eventually something will cause the great college bubble to pop.

Outstanding student loan debt is over $1.2 trillion. This is nearly 50% higher than outstanding credit card debt.

The longer the status quo is kept, the bigger the bubble is going to get… and thus the larger the crash will be.

In the coming years student loan payments will get so high that it’ll be unmanageable… even for the students that get the dream job that they were told their degree would award them.

Massive defaults will occur and colleges will soon be worse off. Prices will need to be readjusted to maintain the maximum income when attendance levels crash. Professors will face pay cuts or layoffs, along with administration, maintenance, construction and anyone else working for or at a college or university.

The consequences will be felt nationwide as the college loan scam falls apart.

And it will be Americans who got duped by the promise of high paying dream jobs and financial stability who will pay the ultimate price.

      1. Whatsamatter, all those art history majors cant find work?

        • I hear there are a few openings in bankerland. It seems they have been dying off at a pretty good rate lol. Also microbiologists.

        • Maybe delinquent student loans will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back. I know it’s a contender.

Bring it all down, I say…

          • I just read that the average student loan balance is $29,000. They’ll take out a note for that to buy a new car, and pay it off in 5 years, for crissakes. Why can’t they pay off their college loans?

            • Because the repo man comes when you don’t make you car payments. Nobody takes anything away when you default on an unsecured student loan.

              • Actually my student debt is twice that but i pay on the interest every month. I am hoping the engineering field isnt to crowded.

              • Actually, I work for a student loan servicer. If you default on a federal student loan (95%+ of student loans out there), the government will garnish 15% of your wages (including SSDI and unemployment) and withhold your tax refund until paid back.

Also, whoever wrote this article is pretty unaware of the programs out there for student loan borrowers. I spend 8 hours a day signing people up for $0/month payment plans, which anyone with a federal student loan can qualify for if they have a pretty low income….these are income-based plans that cap at 15% of your discretionary income. Basically anyone who is past due on their student loan payments just need to fill out a 10 minute form, and they magically have $0/month payments for life if they want. Oh, and they get their loan forgiven after 20-25 years on these plans, even if they never pay a penny toward principal or interest

                • Does the government garnish wages or do they forgive the loan after 25 years?

I have been in financial industries for 30 years and have seen tens of thousands of credit reports and pay stubs. Around 10% of which had delinquent student loans… and never saw a single one that had a garnishment related to sident Loans.

                  • Actually, the dirty little secret about “income based” payments and loan forgiveness is that your interest continues to compound into your principle for 25 years and then you have to pay federal income taxes on the amount that is forgiven after 25 years, which frankly is usually just as much as what your initial loan amount was.

        • Gold is the currency of kings
Silver is the currency of the aristocracy
Barter is the currency of peasants
Debt is the currency of slaves

It seems as though a softer form of slavery has been implemented.

          • Well said: The Gordian Knot most young people face is this: they have so much debt they cannot take on anything that does not pay an amazing entry level wage with benefits ($75,000 plus). But, they could get great experience from employers if they went below that but their parents would probably tell them ‘no way!’. And yes a lot of kids get their parents involved in job interviews and checking out employers. In the end, as an employer, you just throw your hands up.

I gave up and now, for my sanity, hire Eastern European and Asian hotties because they look great, they work hard and, because of their culture, they do not come from the “I will sue your ass!!” meme. A few even consider bedding the boss as just what you do, along with doing spreadsheets, social media marketing etc. Don’t even get me started on the ghetto Queens with attitude and gi-normous waddle butts. We only hire them if we have to to get a gov contract. Otherwise, no way.

        • I want to learn fly fishing. Santa brought me a pair of waders for Xmas. Santa is always jolly cause he knows where all the naughty girls live. And he gets cookies and milk. That fat bastard.

Do I need camo gear for fly fishing?

I don’t really understand the fucking point of it. You just leave the fake plastic fly on the surface of the water for a split second and then surface cast it somewhere else? What the fuck makes that better than hook line and sinker? Do you catch more fish faster with the fly method?

          • Forget it, Acid. You need an IQ well above room temperature, as well as years of experience, to be a fly fisherman. You don’t make the cut.

        • The new Amerikkkan dream: minimum wage jobs, porn, video games, shit food, and mindless entertainment.

It’s funny…when I kept my mouth shut in class, I would be likely a straight A student; when I corrected the professor’s stupidity, my grades would go down.

As you can probably guess, I wasn’t always popular with the college professors. Because I think for myself and don’t take my goddamn fucking textbooks (new edition every 2 years for an additional $100 – textbooks are a fucking racket) as the stone tablets from Mt. Sinai. Actually, I think a lot of what comes from academia is pure shit.

Just like everything else, the quality of university education is a fucking piece of shit now in Amerikkka. College is a waste of your fucking time and money. Don’t get me wrong…I study and learn every day.

Why the fuck beat your brains out only to get a shit job?

Apologize to Ross Perot you baby boomer fucking assholes. Hillary, you fucking dumb cunt. The very same bitch who mocked Ross Perot is now going to fix the shit economy THAT SHE CREATED. Have you seen these bumper stickers that say “I’m ready for Hillary”?

Mama mia, but one should only stick you fucking baby boomers in front of the window and rotate you so you grow evenly on all sides. Wouldn’t be much difference in brain power for you. Fucking stupid dickless sheeple.

            Dear God.

Do they have a picture of a guy bending over and spreading his ass cheeks?

            Because… yeah basically.

            • I want to take that bumper sticker and stick it to a bottle of KY Jelly.

              Pretty damn much.

              • You like penetration in Uranus?! Interesting!

        • No, I wasn’t in art history or womyn’s studies. I studied hardcore intellectual shit. I constantly push my body and mind.

I got my LGBTQ lessons from some fucking hot guys in martial arts and the computer labs. I don’t sleep with bitch boys. I sleep with guys who are either really smart, or are muscle studs. I believe in gay marriage, but I don’t go to parades dressed in spandex or get “offended” or expect anything special. I never showed up to gay student union or safe zones. My guns and martial arts training afford me safety, inasmuch as one can prepare himself for trouble. I do not like flamboyant homosexuals.

Do not wear fucking black thin dress socks with khaki shorts you old bastards. Do not wear a ski parka over a fucking business suit. You look fucking ridiculous. Always wear a tie. Do not wear a Hawaiian shirt to work on Friday. A man’s shoes should have laces. Do not leave your fucking shopping cart in the middle of the parking lot, you fat lazy piece of shit. Do not crowd the conveyer at the baggage claim. It only slows everything down. Cunts.

Do you fucking think if the airlines gave people space to sit they would be willing to pay a higher price? The shitty airplane seats are just like the shitty food and shitty quality goods and services we have universally now. The united shits of mediocrity. Fucking baby boomer bastards.

          • He must have O.D.’d on bath salts, eh?

          • Acid;
You got me laughing. I have to agree 100% with your hatred of the majority of air travelers who crowd the conveyer at the airport instead of standing back and waiting till they see their baggage. It’s a pretty good look at what we have evolved to. Are you really a fag or do you just like to push some of the viewers to the cardiac zone?

          • I really fell sorry for the ‘gender studies’ (WTF is THAT???) majors. People are figuring out the college scam, where ‘required courses’ totally unrelated to the real world are scabbed onto majors just to give some professor who is otherwise unemployable a high paying do-nothing ‘job’.
Between that and the hard leftist thrashing meted out by ‘universities’, especially on white males, people are realizing it’s not nearly worth it. It has to be frustrating to see your friend who went to a tech school for plumbing or welding (and graduated in 1 or 2 years, debt free) have more cash to live on than you do while you stick your nose in the air because you have a degree in medevil plumbing history (and get him his latte for his commute to work).

Fuck fucking cell phones. Go outside.

        • Kula, that is so true. Them bran muffin eaters will starve.

        • Here’s hoping you lose your job and ability to maintain a lifestyle, Kulafarmer.

          • Eat a dick. Kula will be around long after you are pushing up daisies.

            I know, I know, don’t feed the trolls…

        • Probably not. The eduction industry is not all that interested in getting you educated so that you can find a good job. They are mostly interested in perpetuating their industry (yes education is an industry). They have to keep those students coming in to the system to pay the professors salaries. Giving out easy to get student loans which enslave graduates with enormous debt they can in most cases never pay back. It is so easy to get sucked into the highly encouraged system, which many really regret once they see the price they are required to pay for the nearly worthless degree.

      2. I hope Kentucky gets beat in the Final Four.

        • I don’t care who wins, but my bracket says Kentucky takes it all this year. It also says the final game will be with Duke.

          • How ’bout you “don’t Scotty don’t”. In other words “do something more productive”. Or why don’t you just see what the kardashians are up to?

            • I spent only five minutes filling out a bracket sheet that came in a free newspaper. I don’t follow basketball. I don’t care who wins or loses. It’s an intellectual exercise. I have a system that lets me pick most of the winners. I usually get over 75% of the second round games correct.

I go here to check my bracket:
              ht tp://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/ncaa-tournament/brackets/viewable_men

I only spend a few seconds checking.

If only I could find someone to bet me on every single game, I could make some serious money.

              • you can find someone to bet you on every single game. He is called a bookie.

            • And these Cardassians you speak of. Weren’t they on Star Trek? I’m pretty sure they aren’t real.

              Ha.

              • What did Spock find when Kirk neglected to flush?

                Captian’s log.

                • Those Klingons are nasty!

      3. The school of hard knocks is free 🙂

      4. So lots of young people are currently starting to learn the value of those 120,000 dollar degrees they got in things like LGBT studies and classical French art history and such.

On top of that, those honest ones with personal integrity who actually pursued useful degrees and work(ed) hard and sacrificed much to pay off their student loans along with their parents who helped will soon be getting kicked in the face for it with a government bail out program that will pay off the loans of those slackers who did not.

Again we will reward foolishness and irresponsibility while punishing honest effort, integrity, and productivity.

And again, we will get more of what we reward and less of what we punish.

        Count on it.

And be prepared for the consequences as they come upon us in the next decade or so, it won’t be pleasant.

        • Some people who pursued practical degrees and have been paying on their loans are also failing due to the economy and will end up in arrears despite their character and work ethic. It’s not all the caricatures you imagine. Believe me, I want to be able to say that I paid back what I borrowed, but I am not sure the whole system won’t collapse before I get there. As it is, with my current qualifications for the job hunt, every position I pursue has me competing with tens of other applicants. So, I am back in school (on a grant, not loans)trying to get something to set me apart from the crowd and trying to maintain an “A” average so that the GPA will boost my hire-ability. What happens if I get out and still can’t get ahead? Food and shelter or pay back my debts? Of course I will use all the tools available to work something out, but if loan forgiveness is offered I would take it in that situation. Hopefully it won’t come to that.

        • I keep hearing “Forgive my student loans!!!!”

“Oh, and make me your boss!”

        • No doubt. My wife and I sacrificed for all four of our children, sending each to college. All will graduate debt free. Now, those that went to private colleges and took out $100K+ debt will get their debts “forgiven”? Paid by whom……oh, yeah, ME.

      5. I don’t know how many times I’ve gotten that, the lights are on but nobody is home, dull expression, when I’ve commented that there is some thing very wrong when the college tuition goes up every year. The price hike is almost always greater than the rate for inflation. All I get is a variation of, well, that is just the way things are.
And it is an act of heresy to suggest that just maybe college is NOT for every one and one might be better off, NOT going to college but look at some thing else (like learning a hands on trade).
Of course there is a segment of the population that will only care about their favorite semi-proffesion sports team will be affected by the student loan debt bubble. I suppose there is an amount of warped humor to be found in the idea that one of the reasons why an unemployable student with a totally worthless degree in some gender studies program is so far in student loan debt, is due to, in part paying for this cultures idol worship of sports. Yeah who cares about how mal-educated some student is, just so long as their university has a winning football team.

        • I hear ya: societies priorities are way off base. Universities aren’t about education but profit and are just a business like any other. In that context, there is no ceiling to what they will charge as long as they can get away with it and hand the bill to somebody else. In the UK, 100,000s of students are turning to prostitution to try and pay for tuition. Think about that: the earnest, annoying, braying tenured gender studies prof on $150,000/year is getting their salary paid by their students sleeping with people for cash. The irony is, of course, lost on the humorless hair-monster professor.

“Oh, my, God!! I am sooo voting for Hillary in 2016!!”

          (passes wind)

“Now, can anyone tell me which books were the most influential for Andrea Dworkin?”

        • Vegas, you are right. Colleges spend a shitload of money on sports. A lot of people like universities for the social experience too. Why waste your money on useless shit? Your there for an education not some sports/social bullshit. Just go to a junior college and skip all the BS. Join a trade union and get training, many of them make a lot more than college grads. Get a job with the road dept. they are NEVER out of work lol. There are a lot of online schools that are pretty inexpensive too. Used textbooks are all over craigslist, read up on them to learn a skill without some nutty professor involved.

Self education works great. I read and read about solar and experimented with different things so when I actually took solar courses I aced them! Learn several different skills that way if one falls out you have backup. Having different skills you can do under the table work and make money too.

          • Tradesman’s credentials are a hell of a lot more practical and valuable than academic degrees. And academics act as if these people are stupid.

Like in HS if you go to the Tech center you are seen as an idiot.

        • Tuition goes up every year BECAUSE OF STUDENT LOANS. The influx of easy cash to the university causes them to inflate the price. Supply and demand. Cash is a good.

Tuition has gone up 700% since 1970 when the Department of Education was created.

        • We tell all the young ones these days…go to trade school somewhere and pay as you go. College is a scam!

          • what you say it true MommaD. Ain’t nothing but a side show circus act to get your dime to see the “Bearded Lady”.

        • Forgive the student loan I used to buy a car, rent an overpriced apartment because I was too lazy to walk a few blocks to my one or two classes a day, or throw keggers so I could exel at beer pong!!

      6. College is shit everybody is told it’s the only way you will make enough $ to survive in the world. Sure it’s one way to make it. How about a trade or open a business. Don’t fall for the college scam. I make more $ than many of these people. I’m no where near as academically smart as the college grad. Matter a fact I dropped out of high school and got a GED at night then went and got a cdl at the union. I drive a truck sure it sucks but it pays bucks. Oh I don’t have a student loan to pay back either. Look at the college tuitions cost you at least $40,000 and they don’t give job placement either. The whole reason your going to college is to get past the $10 an hour rut. They don’t want educated work force if this was true it would be cheaper to get a degree. I’m from the school of thought that if it’s too good to be true then it’s a lie. I’ve seen people with degrees that act like they should make more$ than others even if a degree is not needed. What shit is that. You don’t need an cullinary degree to operate a truck.

        • If you’re still somewhat young start looking at something else to do in the future.

Truck driving jobs, the better ones that actually pay well, are going to be gradually replaced by robotic drivers over the next 10 to 15 years and most of those not replaced will be driven downwards in pay by foreign (i.e. Mexican) drivers operating in the U.S. under the recent trade agreements.

(FWIW, this is another of those rather uncanny but accurate predictions from the Simpsons)

IMO, being “academically smart” has very little to do with actually being educated so don’t be concerned with it.

      7. I been sayin this for a while.. so no surprise to me

just surprised it didnt happen sooner

      8. Easy fix.. Draft them into the U.S. Marines or U.S. Army! Minimum 10 yrs service or they can Volunteer for 8 yrs service all active an any of the services!

        • Sure- I’ll take that! Anything to pay it back honorably and have a living secured at the same time.

          • Ya go out and kill for the globalist empire you profess to hate so much. Get out there and sukk your masters cock. Good idea Butch! How about instead give them the opportunity to fight for OUR country instead of globalist bankers fucking theft and control schemes.

          • My nephew the dentist had to take a 30 year student loan repayment plan. So not it probably coat him double for a dentist degree.. so now hew gets to stare at rotten teeth and scanky mouths all day. Wonder why the suicide rate for dentists is so high. He is a slave and locked into that job for life just to pay the Stud loan back. Stupid is… And if he aint working on teeth he doesnt make any money. That’s a debt slave.

      9. Off Topic; sharing:
What does YOUR state’s CAFR say??

Kentucky Has At Least $5.63 Billion In Surpluses of the Taxpayers Money it is not using.(and this was year 2003!!!)

Previous years’ revenues not used are normally NOT considered in the next year’s budget, but should be. The previous years’ revenues (as shown in the CAFR) are not recycled back to the budget process.

Somewhere along the way the funds brought forward category was lost.

        Running Surpluses is Stealing.
If you want to know the financial condition of your government(s), do not look at the budget. Get the CAFR.

        • As near as I can tell it’s about the same here, but those things require hours and hours of study to decipher and understanding exactly what they mean is almost impossible for anyone short of an advanced accountant.

But I’m sure you call always call your State representative and he or she will gladly explain it to you in detail.

      10. Student loans are a way of keeping you a financial slave for the rest of your life. I’ve been paying on one since 1991.

        • Too bad Confederate. The way this is headed is debt forgiveness, and all those who have paid are simply going to be SOL.

        • And the more money you go try to make to pay the student loans off, the more Fed Income Taxes you will pay.. so what is the benefit of a higher paying job on the books? Its all a scam. Just like more expensive housing in the City where your job is. Its a big fat rat race to no where.

      11. The government that gave them the loan should require that they either go into military service, pick up trash or whatever needs to be done and pay off their loans. It isn’t coming out of my pocket because its empty. don’t work, don’t eat.

      12. A foolish family member of mine took out student loans back in 2008 and racked up so much debt he can’t pay it back and is working at a chain store in the mall because he can’t find a job. Had he listened to my husband, got a job, paid out of pocket for a vocational school… he may have a better paying job today with no student debt.

Many of these younger people today think these gov loans are not going to come back and bite them in the ass. Live for today, and who cares about tomorrow. That’s the liberal way of doing things.

        • If Obama has his way and makes student loans something one can escape through bankruptcy, we are going to see a slew of filings.

      13. Had this sent to me

        Patriot Militia Call Sign FIREHAWK

        • Awesome! You should send it to Oath Keepers and every branch of state militia you can find. By the end of the years, things may change.

      14. The GAME IS OVER!!!!

      15. Try getting obummer to sign this above document he did say he has a pen and a phone. The gov don’t want smart educated citizens capable of critical thinking but if you insist on going to college you can pay back student loan debt for the rest of your days. This will take up most of your salary later leaving you still struggling but with a fancy title. I used to do construction jobs with a guy when I was younger. We’d go to look at a job and if it was just a lot of bullshit work and he didn’t want it he would just shoot em a price that was outlandishly high. Now a rational person would say fuck that I can get it done cheaper. He would not have to turn the job down. I can’t tell you how many suckers there are out there that paid through the nose. The worst kind of people are the ones who want everything now they get screwed all the time. People college is way too expensive to not place you in a position after graduation. Any rational consumer can see this. Don’t get screwed by college professors and deans do you really want to be like them. College is for young people who’s parents are wealthy and foot the bill. But if you insist you can pay loans the rest of your life.

      16. Finances are really tight and prices are creeping up. My erstwhile spouse forgot their student loan payment was due and now we’re behind the 8-ball. Good people who always intended to pay back what they borrowed will succumb to the financial disaster which is unfolding, I have no doubt.
Once I shared a “vision” here… I don’t recall what it was or if it came to pass, but I do recall using quotes because I do not claim that this came from God. It was just a very strong impression. However, it was well received and I was asked to share any new ones here. Today I felt that I needed to come back and share this.

Months ago I saw a “vision” of a blender/ meat grinder that was turned on and processing the whole world. Individual are too small to be ground up literally, but it was the nations, the trappings of our lives, our relationships and families- everything was separated and discombobulated.

It’s starting to feel real. As I see my marriage failing because my erstwhile spouse has left the faith and I see others’ marriages dissolving over the same issue; as I see friendships failing in the mob-mentality and hunger for gratification turning them against one another; wars and lead up to what may be WWIII and the financial writing on the wall…I must conclude that the grinder is on.

In that “vision” the instruction was to get closer to God(because we can never be separated from Him), and to get ready. You folks here are already getting ready, but ask yourself what happens when all your preps are blown away by storm or war and you are left naked, alone and with nothing. Where will you turn? If you have that answer, you are truly ready for anything.

        • To Sigi. “The Father my friend is where everything comes from”. I’m not sayin’ I’m a righteous man. I curse and feel really hateful now toward those who believe and feel that they own me. But I do believe this, the son sits on the right hand of the Father and every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess. Whether or not the Father says to me “well done thou good and faithful servant, thou has been faithful over a few things. Or, depart from me ye worker of iniquity for I know you not, remains to be seen.

        • Nicely said. The prosperity gospel has not prepared the people for the Hell on earth that is about to happen. We have to be mentally and spiritually prepared now. All of the things we are witnessing now is leading up to one big cluster. A lot of my grown kid’s classmates are deep in both student loan debt and credit card debt. And what’s bad is some don’t care. They talk about not regretting taking spring break trips because they wanted to have fun and memories while they are still young. This starts (in my opinion) with the parents. A lot of them (most really) failed to have their kids save money. So they spend it as fast as they get it. No budgets. And a big lack of true faith…. Built on shifting sand.

        • Sigi… sorry pale you may as pray to a sack of shit to give you guidence. Religion is another stupid manmade up hoax designed to dupe the gullible sheep out if their riches and dignity. This world is plumb full of ignorant sheep.

      17. Banksters get bailed out…(TARP $800 billion, QE1, QE2, QE3, QE4, getting $85 billion PER MONTH!)

        Students get zero…nothing, nada.

Only thing students will get is their paychecks garnished, their tax refunds stolen and their drivers license cancelled.

      18. What most preppers lack is the ability to triage. Those who live on government assistance and have positioned themselves in a mountain of debt will become hostiles in many forms. Because they are screwed, misery will enter their lives. And you know, Misery Loves Company and they have to have someone to blame.

      19. The US economy has been off-shored. Sold off so a small number of executives and shareholders could make a fortune on cheap labor. Now that the economy has been shipped overseas does anybody think the Chicoms or the Punjab’s are going to give it back? New graduates can’t find a job that pays enough to sustain an independent lifestyle so they move back home with their parents. That is a further drag on the economy because they won’t be buying starter houses, appliances, new cars or starting families. This effects others trying to sell their first home to move up because nobody is buying starter homes.

When people finally figure what has been done to them by the financial elite there is going to be big trouble. The people in power know it which is why local police departments are being militarized and laws have been passed allowing for the takeover of civilian law enforcement by the federal government.

People need to understand that this shit is over.

The financial elite have stolen everything that wasn’t nailed down and now bankrupt government is coming for the rest. There is talk of Obama wanting to raise more than $100 billion in taxes through IRS executive action. We have come full circle. Taxation without representation anyone?

      20. I don’t need 10 reasons why the unemployment rate is a massive lie. I got a years deferment because I was unemployed 7 months. Now I got a job paying 2 dollars less than my last one. That”s about 200 less than I made. My loan comes back to me in April,$302 per month. Not likely I”ll be paying that much. I will pay it though,’cause I signed a note saying I will. But on my terms.

      21. Too many cheifs and not enought indians.

Now do I employe someone who spent two years at uni that thinks you needs a maths degree to flip burgers or do i employe someone who has been doing real work for the past two years and knows how to get up on time.

The bank of mum and dad is broke and thats the lesson many of our kids need to hear instead of doing some BS degree as an easy option and this comes from a man who has more letters after his name than most people.

Since the banks pay zero interest on savings then the loans should only attract 0.5% interest on re-payments but i am not sure that many students will understand that sum

      22. Right now there are 17 million recent college graduates underemployed, unemployed, and living in mom’s basements. Their jobs have been handed over to foreigners living in the United States on the H 1 B Visa Program. The student loan debt bubble is all the way up to a trillion dollars. Worse, 17 million young people have 34 million moms and dads. That brings the total up to 51 million Americans, mostly white middle class people, with lives ruined by a genocidal ruling out of Washington D.C.
Is there any hope? Turns out there are two (2) United States senators on the side of intelligent Americans. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Jeff Sessions (R-Alabama). These men need our support. They need our encouragement.

ANTI-H-1B SENATOR to HEAD IMMIGRATION PANEL
Patrick Thibodeau, Computer World, January 22, 2015
The biggest enemies facing U.S. Senate Republicans in raising the H-1B cap are Senate Republicans. The Senate’s two top Republican critics of temporary worker immigration, specifically the H-1B and L-1 visas, now hold the two most important immigration posts in the Senate.
They are Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), who heads the Senate’s Judiciary Committee, and his committee underling, Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), who was appointed by Grassley on Thursday to head the immigration subcommittee.
Grassley has been the Republican’s most tenacious and unwavering critic of the H-1B program and has tried to curb use by offshore outsourcers, in particular. Sessions, however, may emerge as the Senate’s most vociferous and fiery H-1B opponent.
Sessions, late Thursday, issued a statement about his new role as immigration subcommittee chairman, and said the committee “will give voice to those whose voice has been shut out,” and that includes “the voice of the American IT workers who are being replaced with guest workers.”
Sessions last week accused the tech industry of perpetuating a “hoax” by claiming there is a shortage of qualified U.S. tech workers.
“The tech industry’s promotion of expanded temporary visas–such as the H-1B–and green cards is driven by its desire for cheap, young and immobile labor,” wrote Sessions, in a memo he sent last week to fellow lawmakers.

        • Right. Tech company says it has jobs it can’t fill. What really happens is they advertise jobs and have many applicants. Trouble is none are able to live on the low ball wages offered. So the company claims it can’t find workers and pushes for more H-1B’s. How could a recent software engineer graduate with student loans to repay take a $10 an hour low ball offer?

        OK…
As a gent behind the generational wave that drove up the price of housing, sold off our factories and basically destroyed the America we knew… I look forward to all these boomers dying off.

Spare me the talk about the road and bridges built..they are all in need of replacement.

Maybe if life shits this generation out there will be room for the next generation.

        Bye Bye boomers.
        We won’t miss you.

Your shit is about to hit the fan.
        TICK TOC, TICK TOCK.

I was standing at a funeral and the funeral director said, “We are going to close the casket now.” This one guy said real loud…
        “Don’t pinch your fingers.” ha

The boomers inherited money, best educated, best read, showered with good.. and look at the United States now. Think of all the dead WW1 and WW2 soldiers who died for freedom. Now we are going socialist. Then they crap on the currency that fell 44% since 2000. Glad they are dying off now. Kiss my ass you thumbs downers.

To quote a boomer: “What do I care, I’ll be dead someday.”
        HA…YES YOU WILL!!!

ME, ME ME BOOMERS.. SHALLOW, SPOILED, ENTITLED.

This is a nice link.. Ha.. “Greying babies!”
        ps. Fuck you Hilary.
