President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence have both recently made comments regarding North Korea’s refusal to abandon their nuclear weapons program. On Friday, Trump met with North Korean defectors and to told them the ‘road has really ended.”

Pence is scheduled to head to the 2018 Winter Olympic Games and to reassure Seoul and Tokyo that there is no daylight between the allies in confronting the North over its nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs. “I’ll cheer on our athletes, but I’ll also be there to deliver a simple message: That the era of strategic patience is over,” Pence said Friday at an event in Pittsburgh. “We’ll make it clear that all options are on the table. And you can be confident we will continue to bring all economic and diplomatic pressure to bear until North Korea permanently abandons its nuclear and ballistic missile programs once and for all.”

According to the Washington Examiner, the president himself has also spoken about the options available to the United States. Trump met with North Korean defectors and said despite the first talks between North and South Korea in two years, time is running out. “You know, we ran out of road. You know the expression? The road really ended,” Trump said, as he once again blamed previous administrations for failing to stop North Korea’s nuclear program before it could threaten the U.S. “They could’ve done it 12 years ago. They could’ve done it 20 years ago. They could’ve done it four years ago, and two years ago. We have no road left.”

These statements come on the heels of North Korea’s response to Trump’s State of the Union address last week. After Trump said no other regime more harshly oppresses its own people than North Korea, the president took a shot a Kim Jong-Un, likely angering the dictatorship. “We need only look at the depraved character of the North Korean regime to understand the nature of the nuclear threat it could pose to America and to our allies,” the US President added.

A North Korean foreign ministry spokesperson fired back at the President, claiming the speech was “sinister” while talking up Pyongyang’s nuclear arsenal. “Trump also insisted upon the ‘maximum pressure’ against our country,” the spokesman said. “However, it is no less than the screams of Trump terrified at the power the DPRK has achieved.  Trump even reveals his sinister intention to do something against us by relying on strength while talking about ‘American resolve’. Our self-reliant defense capability with the nuclear force as its backbone will, however, completely deter Trump and his lackeys from showing off on the Korean peninsula. If Trump does not get rid of his anachronistic and dogmatic way of thinking, it will only bring about the consequence of further endangering security and future of the United States,” the spokesman threatened.

      5. I feel for the everyday North Korean person. Their leader is a total jerk! He’s starving the country! How much more will they put up with?

      7. Another threat by Rocket man … Gee all Trump said is we are at the end of the road and cannot get NK to talk.

      8. Pence comes across as a cocky ahole too.

      9. Dear Mr. Kim,

Enclosed you will find a gift sample of trinitite from our first open ground test fission explosion from the 1940’s. Isnt it pretty?

How about we coat half of your country in it?

      10. the time for brave words spoken from a place of security – for both Un and Trump – is about to end. The real shame of it is that most likely neither man will end up paying the price of the horror they cause to be visited upon their citizens. I’m not a NK sympathizer. The little fat sh*t needs to be taught a lesson. As does the big fat sh*t. War is the killing of and dying by young men and women; until, it gets all out of control and ropes in the older and younger. And it is all a game to enrich the already wealthy. A stop-gap measure along the way to ‘requiring’ a world-wide solution so “it will never happen again”. What fools we all are to believe any government, any such measure as war is done for patriotism or defense. It’s all to make money. We – all of us here – are at best useful cattle; at worst, fertilizer or grease for the machine. Stay prepped. It is the only way we shall see the other side.

      11. what they cant really say is that the Propaganda met the end of the road …too much bullshit too little time to listen to it

its the same ol shit different regime

they need a new boogie man to scare the masses with , so far this didnt pan out like they wished..least thats how i see it

      12. Ya know when you come to the end of the road. You can always turn around and go back the way you came. All we need to do is pull out of south Korea. Pack up and leave. Tell Russia and China Its your problem. But No the Gxw’s want the north Korean Mineral wealth to be controlled by them or remain off the market. And Trumps military handlers want a war. So you all be sure and wave your flags. have your children join the military to be cannon fodder for the Gxw agenda.

        • If DPRK had a lot of mineral wealth, they would have exploited it by now. Communists ARE the biggest capitalists.

      13. Every time those Norks make a statement it reminds me of
        Baghdad Bob.
        Remember him? 🙂

        • Baghdad Bob = Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf

A former Iraqi diplomat and politician. He came to wide prominence around the world during the 2003 invasion of Iraq, during which he was the Iraqi Information Minister under Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, acting as the spokesperson for the Arab Socialist Ba’ath Party and Saddam’s government.

Al-Sahhaf is known for his daily press briefings in Baghdad during the 2003 Iraq War. His colorful appearances caused him to be nicknamed “Baghdad Bob” (in the style of previous propagandists with geographical aliases—some of them alliterative, such as “Hanoi Hannah” and “Seoul City Sue”)

      14. Sorry Mr. President-but it seems that SOUTH Korea has not run out of road-perhaps you need to change tactics-maybe start by not telling N. Korea that you are going to incinerate them. Just a suggestion.

      15. Trump and his cronies want the mineral wealth there. He had his eye on it before the election. He wants a war.
