the suggestions for resisting the police state we are enjoying these days are all great points. The trouble is that most everyone here is already doing their part by participating in one or more of the points on the list , Mosanto good grief if your not aware that these guys are pure evil and to be avoided like leprosy then your just not in the game. Yet they keep their doors open and the masses continue to buy their products. How much roundup did you see flying off the shelves this spring?
PMs wow if ever there was a time to buy silver its now, even had a co worker ask me about finances and she got the standard answer “buy silver as close to spot as you can” she got that wow I didnt know you were such an idiot look on her face. Little to no hope there.
Buy local, absolutly, but does anyone really do this with any loyalty? I know I do but then again Im in a buy local kind of state (VT) I think we have 2 walmarts and one of them is under construction. I love to suport local ecconomy and build a raport with the little guy. I know that when shtf he is prolly gona be around and able to recognise me and my loyalty for bartering credit etc.
All the suggestions are great and I wish people would get on board with them, however when we are split on the opinion of the IRS’ conduct. I actually heard a talking head praising them for going after the teaparty and conservative groups. When we are witnessing full blown tyrany and half of all Americans cant, dont or wont see it then we have allready lost the sinking ship. Things will not change in our beloved country until it becomes uncomfortable and by that time its way too late.
Sorry for being such a wet blanket on this one, but this change is not going to happen until people are in real recognizable, I cant feed my kids or keep them safe and warm kind of trouble. We all see whats going on and there are not enough of us willing to do anything about it yet. Shouldnt be too much longer but by the time your average joe finally gets it, its allready too late. Even some of the preppers I know are in some sort of lala land thinking its gona last a week or two then the good guys will get in office and return things back to the way they should be. Fantasy land from wich there is no return. I wish I could shake some sense into these folks but its all about convenience. Why the hell would I spend on huge bags of rice and beans when I have a smart phone to guide me? Why should I buy local when wally world has the same thing for less? Why wouldnt I use Roundup on my weeds, its easier than picking them by hand?

They also have a list of plants that are most commonly GMO, such as corn and soybeans. They said that even though GMO was tried on some plants and animals, they either failed on their own or were rejected by consumers and were withdrawn. These are tomatoes, potatoes, salmon, and pigs.

Best thing to do is start local,
If you have to buy stuff, buy it at a small local health food store,
You can find the stuff you need to buy and do a little research, sometimes as simple as reading the packaging, other times maybe a call to the manufacturer or an email,
If your shopping wall mart and the big chain stores and eating stuff thats already made up you are most likely consuming GMOs
If you eat local or organic and a lot of fresh then most likely not much in the way of GMOs
The thing to remember is some organic fruits and nuts are from GMO stock
Like over here the UH school of agriculture developed a papaya that is resistent to the ring spot virus, almost killed the papaya industry here, LOTS of organic growers are growing a hybrid of these varieties, so keep that in mind, the other thing is that not all GMOs are created equal, intermingling growth traits through any means other than breeding produces a GMO
Big difference from engineering a pesticide or herbicide resistence into a plant, the former being a short cut to decades of breeding, the latter being an outright franken mess in the making.

It started when people ate processed foods and nothing fresh. GMO may be a problem, I think the jury is out on that, but if all you eat is McDonalds then that is a problem much worse than any supposed GMO grown fresh produce. Yes, you can go organic and heirloom and all that is better. But GMO fresh is 100 times better than processed crap…
There’s a video in which scientists did tests on guinea pigs or whatever…fed them nothing but GMO foods. If you can, please watch the video! For the first 3 months, not a lot happened. However, after about 3 months, HORRIBLE things happened to the test animals… will make you puke!
Furthermore, I talked to this guy from Germany…he and others were marching in protest of GMO’s. He told me that in Germany they banned GMO’s after they marched thousands of miles in protest. However

Was a big deal, i think Japan banned the import of hawaiian papaya, think they only just recently started allowing their import and even now i believe that market is slow, lots of competition from the Philipines and indonesia too, documentation is lacking from those places though so good chance they are selling the same thing.

I agree with your view on the complacency of Americans. But on the other hand- we’re only responsible for ourselves, and it’s only our own face staring back at us in the mirror. Any more, I could care less what Joe Sixpack does or feels- I have my own convictions and live by them every day. I’ve been keeping my assets in PMs instead of the bank, but now USBank is starting to charge a fee of $6.95 for account balances of less than $1,500. In other words, my $710 direct deposit check WILL NEVER BE ENOUGH to spare me the fees.

Them Guys, I would gently remind you that Jesus Christ was born into a Jewish family. His mother was a Jew. He was raised as a Jew, and became a Jewish rabbi that followed the law of Moses perfectly and was without sin. Jesus would not have been allowed into the Temple at Jerusalem if He were not a Torah observing Jew. The word Christian was not used until some 30 years after the crucifixion at Antioch by a Jew named Paul who twisted and rebuked Jewish teaching to start another religion that transformed itself into a pagan Jew hating group calling themselves the Holy Roman Church about 325AD. I don’t think it says in any Bible even the most perverted ones that Jesus Christ was a Christian.
Also read in the gospel of John 15:5 where Jesus says he is the vine and we are the branches. That Jew Paul clarified this with stating in Romans 11:18 that grafted in branches (gentiles)that don’t support the vine will be broken off and thrown in the fire. If you are not grafted into Jesus Christ who was a practicing Jew then you may be as lost as those you are accusing.

Your concern, like so many others that ammo is not available for purchase because the government is buying it all up is a valid concern. Many people believe the ammo that our government has stockpiled will ultimately be used against (us) the people and we will have no way to defend ourselves for the lack of ammo. While this may be their intent it is not mine. I nor you could ever hope to amass the ammo they have procured. SO I look at things this way, they are stockpiling ammo, yes, but they are doing so for me and you, they just don’t know it yet. I learned a long time ago it only takes ONE bullet to take another’s belongings away from them. And I am pretty sure we all have a few of them laying around.

When the truck comes in they have 40-100 people in line, they sell almost everything they have to the people in line. I saw 400,000 rds of 22 ammo go in 7 hours, one store one delivery. I’ve bought 5,000 rds recently, could have a lot more.

The Word of God tells you to believe the Apostolic Traditions passed on orally by the Church AND the written epistles, so “sola scripture” is just man-made buncombe like the Pharisees’ “traditions of men” that Jesus damned in Mark 7:8-9.

That’s a fine list and even more inspiring is the action to do things on the list.
The only thing I’d argue with is the statement that TPTB don’t like you reading the Bible. And I only argue with it part-way. And, I don’t know exactly how you meant it so I’m not arguing with you personally. But it was an interesting statement so it got me thinking:
During the past (roughly) 30 years we have seen the growth of the corporate fascist police state. During the same we have seen both a falling away from Christianity and also a huge growth of Christian revivalism, mega-churches, and a parallel Christian living culture evidenced by Christian rock stations, Christian Mingle, etc. So, apparently, lots of people are buying and reading Bibles, and that trend happened at the same time that Walmart and Monsanto took over the world and our financing system become a haven of crooks.
The Bible and religious fundamentalism are part of the most powerful wedge in the divide and conquer strategy against Americans. It is what keeps most people on this board voting Republican in the hopes it will be better than Obama or Clinton or whoever the next one is.
Do TPTB probably hate the Bible? Sure. But they also probably look down on Hindus that practice their faith with sincerity. They look down on people that they perceive as lesser than them. They consider themselves super beings. They probably plan to destroy (after having carried out their final plan) all religion except whatever creepy Luciferian beliefs they have. But for now, the Bible is handy to them.
If people don’t believe me, just look at all the ridiculous bickering on this thread over the Bible and the Jews and on and on. It never stops. Christians (as a whole, not individually) are too busy bickering with themselves and with abortion doctors and gays to lead the country away from where we are going. So, Christianity is not a thing to be feared by the globalists.
God has a plan and I think part of the plan is to let the one world government reach its full fruition. The Bible prophesies makes that clear. It’s not our job to try to stop it. It’s only our job to keep faith in God and to try to navigate the difficult choices as best we can in sight of what we think God wants us to do. We will fail in that. It’s also our job to support others in their faith in God, through setting example only. They should see that we experience God’s peace and ask us how we do it.
So, I do think reading the Bible is the most important part of your list. I just don’t think it will stop global Antichrist empire and that as soon as we think it’s our job to stop it, we lose the real battle.
Because, the battle is spiritual as well as physical. Many of the TPTB are working toward a global empire and don’t realize the spiritual dimensions. These are the ones that don’t care whether you read the Bible. But then, there is a higher level. These people, or forces, or whatever they are, do care about the Bible. They want to destroy your relationship or connection to God. But no matter. We only fight this at the individual level. God already won and always wins the fight against Satan.
I think we have to be careful to make a distinction between survivalism and our relationship with God. We can be really worthless survivalists and perhaps be favored by God. At some point, we might have to choose between one or the other, as Christ did and as many martyrs did, too.
I also do think there will be Hindu and Buddhist and Muslim and paganist martyrs.
You should know who, “The Powers That Be”, are by now. Every time you hear the words, “New World Order”, come from their mouth. Simple as that!
That is who “THEY” are when we speak of them..

I stocked up on Ova Easy egg product, and I practice with it every now and then. It can get a little gummy when you are trying to reconstitute it, so I put it into a blender to mix it really well. Works pretty well, esp in baked goods. Should keep a long time, too.

I didn’t say you could get wealthy here. I said you could find work. My daughter and son-in-law both found decent jobs and make decent pay. Plus, the bay is beautiful! As a builder, the bay has never affected my pay. If anything, it’s helped me get where I am today. Like I said the wealthy like to spend their money up here. They come here for the bay.

Actually I was talking (writing) to Luther who said he lives in the Detroit area. For him to move to northern Michigan would be better than staying in Detroit. This is a beautiful area as you would know since your and your family have lived here since the 1850’s. That’s very cool. My family moved up here after the civil war from the Chicago area. We all have worked hard to survive and given the area and the other benefits of living here we have done okay. It’s not about the money for me or for any suggestions I may make to live here. I lived in Colorado for several years after college and I couldn’t stand the attitude of the people out there. Plus, the cost of living was crazy, even back in the early 70’s. I would love to here from you where Luther should move to so he can live happily ever after. In the long run I guess it doesn’t really matter where we live. I’m happy here and your happy outwest. I’m on your side I would guess. Wonder if we know any of each others family?

just time for me to leave, I guess.
I salute those of my fellow citizens who see the unmistakable handwriting on the wall and who are demonstrating that there are still vast numbers of us who do not take our personal liberty and the sovereignty of the United States for granted. They are to be commended for refusing to buy into the lie that bleats that if all of us are made equally weak we are somehow “secure.”
Every right and responsibility that one delegates to some outside authority, that authority usually being the State, including to no small degree the right to and responsibility for self-defense, causes one to be at the mercy of that outside authority when a crisis occurs.
Now that Barack Obama is President, one can observe the Gun-Ban Lobby and numerous media personnel nearly salivating over the prospect of law-abiding citizens being further disarmed; unfortunately, far too many of my fellow Americans will buy into the pernicious suggestion that because 80 million of us choose to exercise our Second Amendment rights in good faith, we are somehow culpable every time some miscreant opens fire.
We currently have societies in the U.S. where the population is strictly prohibited from possessing firearms or any other weapon, for that matter. Only the authorities are allowed arms. These oases of peace and tranquility are none other than our Nation’s prisons. There the most brutal reign in a gun-free paradise, beating, raping and sometimes killing weaker inmates when the guards happen to be elsewhere. I am obviously not suggesting that prisoners be armed, but merely pointing out that transforming America into a kind of giant penitentiary where the law-abiding live at the mercy and whim of the depraved is not conducive to security; on the contrary, it borders upon insanity.
Whether people want to admit it or not, we are currently engaged in a civil war in America waged between those of us who recognize that freedom defines the difference between living and merely existing, and those who proclaim that freedom is too dirty, too expensive, too selfish, too unfair and simply too dangerous to be enjoyed by this and future generations. When I observe potential tyrants whisper “danger,” and watch far too many of my fellow Americans nearly trample one another in their haste to surrender yet more freedom in exchange for more false promises of security, I greatly fear for the future of our Republic. If America falls, she will fall from within. Perhaps a fitting epitaph for a Nation that achieved her greatness not from a mindset of “safety first,” but rather “live free or die,” but whose citizenry ultimately lost their backbone along the way will be simply this: “Too ignorant, too lazy, and too craven to remain free.”

I do love freedom which most folks in North America really do take for granted. If you have ever read my post you know by now that I am a Christian believer and have my faith in God not man’s government. I can honestly say i will die for my beliefs and probably one day will make that choice. When I was young before I stayed from the Lord I remember hearing all these things of a NWO and one world Gov etc. I read the prophecies not only in the bible but other faiths as well. The truth is we are all just here temporarily and my home is not here it is in heaven for eternity. I believe we are in the last days and unless something tragic takes my life, I believe I will see the second coming of our Lord. All of these things must come to pass. I believe it is our duty to fight evil no matter how it presents intself. The NWO will eventually come into place but it can never own my heart or mind. If I die it will probably be standing for my freedoms and faith. Being prepared for things to come is great and I sure do what I can for my family and myself but have decided recently to not try and wake people up unless they at least show an interest. People as a whole in NA just simply want to sleep and not wake up. I just pray for those family and freinds who refuse to listen. Other than that it is a waste of energy I can use for more productive things. God will release a very harsh judgement on North America for it’s arrogance, greed and wasteful life styles, but most of all for turning our backs on the one and only God who has blessed us to greatly. So my advice is to continue preparing in every way God has laid on your heart, but mostly make sure your spirtitual life is in order because eternity is really what matters. They lead to some very large earthquakes in the past. Back in 1985 the Greenland area lead to a 8.0 in Chile, and two 7.6’s in Mexico in 1979 and in 2003. The Pacific Antarctic Ridge lead to earthquakes in the Caspain Sea region, Africa, Indonoesia, southern Japan, and Chile. This now makes 31 out of 34 times that precursor quakes have in the past targeted Chile to Mexico. Still nothing, and still very large quake aiming for this region, especially Mexico.
The Greenland Sea area, very narrowed down to this one seems to target Sooth and Central America, with the Cascdadia zone, Kermandec Islands and New guinea Soloman Islands more, even on in Iran.

I have been having trouble with groundhogs attacking my garden. I considered shooting them until I realized I may have to eat them in the future. I have shifted into survival mode and I am watching events with utmost care. Our government is now 100% rogue and more in-your-face every day. They don’t even try to hide what they are doing now. The gloves are coming off. Mr. “new world order” Kerry is signing the U.N. weapons treaty hoping the public will accept another blow to the crotch. You really can’t make this stuff up. We will soon have to decide where we stand. I know where my line is. Does everyone else? I won’t take just any kind of abuse from our criminal leaders. In the words of a great man, “give me liberty or give me death”.
I had problems with moles, groundhogs, racccoons ect. I plant in raised beds . The beds are made from the rear rim of tractor,s. I put screen wire on the bottom and fill with good soil & compost. To keep varmits out I encircle the rim with welded wire. just unfasten the wire to have access. We have a work in progress on another garden plot. It,s inside a 16 X 32 footing of a torn down biulding its three cement blocks high. I lined the botton with old tin and built a 6 foot chain link fence around it. We have filled it with wood chips horse manure soil & compost. potatos & corn are doing well in it. My dad used to put a electric fence around his garden three strands about 4 inches apart. It worked but keeping the fence from being shorted out by vegitation was a problem. once a raccoon was killed. He had both front paws grabbing the electric wire and his jaws biting it. If you had a dog that would chase varmits away that would help. Our land has the three acres around the homestead fenced with chain link. We let our little dogs out of the kennnell after dark . we fasten the chickens up at dark. the geese we let roam the three acres. there so mean nothing bothers them.

I understand your use of raised beds. I have 14 on my way to 24. Magic, aren’t they. I use the same mix in mine. I have an unbelievable garden growing in them now. I have an electric fence around my main garden, but it only slows down the groundhogs. On the positive side, I have the fattest groundhogs in Kentucky. Ready for the pot. 🙂
I’m just reading an old book from the early 1980s on the subject of nuclear war in the UK (“War Plan UK” by Duncan Campbell) and one of the most chilling things in it was how the British government war-planners regarded ANY kind of dissident activity – even protest – as an existential threat to the state during the buildup to nuclear war and that accordingly, non-conformists would have to be rounded up and / or executed by the army and police. Why? Because continuity of government during a nuclear crisis could not be subjected to any risk of being thwarted by a disenfranchised general public.
Fast forward 30 years to 2013 and what is unfolding in the USA? Plans (thanks to NDAA) for the US military to apprehend and incarcerate US citizens anywhere on the globe (i.e. in the USA, in or near US bases overseas, or in US occupied or friendly nations), the ramping up of police state apparatus in America, domestic drone proliferation, a census that took people’s grid co-ordinates, an assault on your Second Amendment, etc, etc. Meanwhile, big government is bunkering down…
Friends, you may or may not agree with me, but the groundwork is being laid for a global war and freedom-loving people are not going to be allowed to hinder that by refusing to comply with all the continuity of government needs that essentially require the populace to stay at home out of the way of military convoys and supply operations. What you’re seeing in the USA now – and elsewhere – is the establishment of government compliance measures aka jackbooted brutality in advance of a coming long emergency.
