A shocking video shows a New Jersey cop responding to a complaint about corruption by asserting that law enforcement officers no longer need to follow the Constitution because it has already been decimated by President Obama.
Seeking to file a complaint about the Helmetta Regional Animal Shelter, Steve Wronko visited the Helmetta Police Department to air his grievances about the shelter falling prey to nepotism and corruption as a result of Helmetta Mayor Nancy Martin appointing her son Brandon Metz to head up the facility.
“I’ve made objections about what’s going on at the shelter over there,” Wronko tells the police officer, adding, “My first and fourth amendment rights were violated, my civil rights were violated.”
“Obama just decimated the freakin’ Constitution, so I don’t give a damn. If he doesn’t follow the Constitution, we don’t have to,” responds the cop, brazenly violating the oath he swore to uphold the Constitution.
The comment is self-evidently shocking, but it also provides an insight as to how corruption from the very top reaches all the way down to the bottom, providing law enforcement with a twisted form of justification for their unconstitutional activities.
At the end of the video, other police officers arrive to kick Wronko out of the building, with the cop who doesn’t give a “damn” about constitutional rights stating, “Either you get out or you’re gonna get locked up.”
“Maybe this instance, captured on film for the whole world to see, will serve as a wake up call to those who may still be asleep,” writes Matt Agorist. “Please share this so that it can help others to see the leviathan for what it is, a gang of thieves writ large.”
The only question that remains is if police officers feel they no longer need to follow the Constitution, should Americans be expected to obey the law?

I am by no means a globalist but there a people all over the world that would have no problem with many of us in the USA if we just left everyone the hell alone.

LEOs have to qualify once a year on each weapon where I live, and don’t get much range time. Some people here >cough, cough< get bi-weekly infantry training.
I actually saw some officers from one department (that shall remain nameless) doing some range training and tactical drills.
Personally….I hope if I ever get into a firefight, the people I’m shooting at are as unskilled as some of those guys were. Most of them couldn’t hit the side of a barn if they were inside the barn. And some of them were downright dangerous to anyone standing around them.
I’m also reminded of an incident where a “bad guy” faced off against two cops. The “bad guy” fired four rounds from a .44 magnum and hit both officers twice. The cops emptied their 19 round 9mm mags and hit the bad guy once.
I get used to my handguns almost weekly in my basement. I made a bullet trap and am steadily getting better with shot placement and trigger pull. Also my kids are learning their way around handguns and only have a healthy respect for the guns now. They are not fearful, but aware of what they are about and capable of. My fear is that one day in the future they may well need these teachings.
Those cops are nothing but lowlife thugs, is this now the model our national LEO’s reach for? I’m sure it varies from state/county but I’m now convinced police misconduct will spark the coming violence.

It’s impossible to figure out how many federal laws are out there. In 1998 the federal bar association did a law search and decided there were between 10k and 300k federal laws at that time including federal regulatory offenses!!

How do we turn this around? Venting anger that everyone upon the site agrees with changes nothing other than letting off some steam; most everyone reading this site is going to share that same anger. The idea that voting in change doesn’t seem to be headed anywhere also. I don’t know, but that has to be a solution other than merely venting in the comments section, sitting by while justice and individual rights are decimated, of hoping for a revolution. What specific action can be taken – today, right now to indicate that there remains a belief amongst some that the Constitution remains inviolate. I wonder what action the original protesters would suggest – I don’t see the Boston tea Party as violent, yet the point was made and was one catalyst for change. I am not so naive to beleive that “dumping tea” will suffice given the current level of angst, but the comments are getting repetitive and hollow. We need a leader for change; how will step up?

One of the self styled “originators” of the current Patriot movement, has written many articles about the actual number of people that participated in the American Revolution. His research and articles state only 3% of the colonials actually participated, at any level, never mind actually took the field against the Red Coats. At that level of participation, 3%, whittles the number of people who might take up arms down to 3M.
If that participation level holds true in the anticipated festivities, personnel wise there’s a pretty even match between LE at all levels and military/nat. guard which would comprise .gov forces. Some of todays .gov forces would go over to the citizens, but no one knows how many. Let’s say, for discussion purposes, 30% of the now .gov forces defect to the citizens. That gives you about 4M citizens against 2M .gov who are better armed, equipped, supplied and have extensive command and control and intelligence capability that wouldn’t be available to citizens. Then there’s the heavy weapons that .gov has; planes, helicopters, tanks and especially artillery, that would only be available to citizens if they liberated them just before things got real or were brought over by the .gov defectors. So a semi-conventional stand and fight conflict like what was fought during the revolutionary and civil wars would be, in my estimation, in .gov’s favor.
The best chance to defeat the .gov forces would be to fight with unconventional tactics, guerrilla warfare if you will, especially in the early engagements, to atrit the.gov forces to a level that they either could be defeated in a pitched battle or just make the tactics different, like attacking their bases, as they have less personnel to effect both control of the general populace and fight the guerrilla’s. This strategy would, of coarse, take time and serious commitment on the part of the guerrilla’s, not to mention contributions of material from the populace to keep the fight going.
It doable, but it won’t be easy or quick.

Retired, welcome aboard, and let me clarify my position. You sound just like the “old school” cops in my family, so I can tell you’re a good one. I’ve always been able to trust people who serve in your chosen profession with honesty and integrity. I have no problem with good cops. But you have to admit that the militarization of civilian law enforcement had brought about some tragic results for both sides. Federal funds for LE go way, way back to the 70s with a federal agency, now defunct, known as the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration [LEAA]. The original purpose of the program was to get LE from local to state levels under federal control and one day form a National Police Force. Federal brainwashing of local, country, and state LE goes way back even before 9-11 or the creation of DHS. The mentality of the new breed of cops is nothing more than the federal attitude that has existed toward the American people since the Lincoln Administration. This “US VS. THEM” mentality has already cost a lot of lives on both sides, albeit more civilians than cops. I DON’T WANT ANY CONFLICRT TO BREAK OUT BETWEEN LE AND THE PUBLIC. With 100,000,000 gun owners in this country, your fellow officers don’t stand a chance. That’s why LE’s anti-public mentality needs to change before any more tragedies take place. the excessive use of force has got to stop. someday, somewhere, someone will be confronted and attacked by a rogue cop and just won’t take the abuse. It’s at the point people are fed up and are about to snap. Victims of excessive police force have already decided they’re going to start fighting back in self-defense and that is their right. I just wish more incidents could be prevented. I still trust cops like you because I can tell you have a good head on your shoulders and have handled situations far more sensibly than the ones who have accepted the DHS propaganda as gospel. Three years ago we were walking on the boardwalk in Ocean City, New Jersey and came across an old lady sitting on a bench with her little dog. The dog couldn’t have weighed more than five pounds. As we were petting her little critter and having some neighborly conversation a woman cop rolled up on her bike. Rather rudely, I thought, she told the old lady to leave the boardwalk with her dog as dogs were not permitted on the boardwalk in June. The old lady said she was walking off the boardwalk but just needed a rest and she would leave. I couldn’t believe the cop was being such a bitch. Truly, a bitch. I told the cop that the woman and her dog were not hurting anyone and were no threat, why not just leave her be to catch her breath for a moment. The bitch cop told me those were not the rules and she had to leave now. I told her, so what? Don’t you have a mother or grandmother? That, apparently gave her pause for thought. She said yes, she did. I asked her if someone treated them that way would she feel indignant? Leave the old woman be for a moment. The bitch left on her bike. Fuck the Jersey cops.
The only difference between people in NJ and people in NYC is this: NJ people are poor pricks and NYC people are wealthy pricks, other than that they’re just alike. I’ve been in both places and suffered at their hands.
It is a shame when the people you trust to defend you are willing to turn on the Constitution. The very backbone of our country. I know not every cop out there is corrupt. I have seen some refuse to arrest peaceful law abiding citizens, or support anti-constitution laws however they may be in the minority.
I never trusted nor expected the police to be there to defend me,they would have to have someone 24/7 to really be there to defend me and that is only if they also really cared about me.

When all of the retired cops in my family attended the academy, they were taught, “Cops are not supposed to be corrupt.” That has been lost with the federal takeover of local, county, and state LE. With the DHS grants and the War on Drugs before that, corruption in civilian law enforcement is at epidemic and unprecedented levels. I have almost lost hope for them.

Heard the past President of the American Association of Physicians and Surgeons on Christian radio today. She is a M.D. who specializes in public health and was discussing the Ebola crisis.
According to her, out of the 900+ deaths from the disease this year, 100 of them were Doctors treating patients and taking extreme precautions!
Thus, even when quarantined in isolation, Ebola kills. If it were me, I would get the hell out of Atlanta!

I listened to most of the Obama’s speech yesterday about the White House sponsored African Summit. In the speech, Obama excitedly named many projects (and some amounts already promised) that U.S. taxpayers were going to fund in Africa.
If Obama wants to MAKE DONATIONS OF HIS PERSONAL INCOME, that would be ok.
I had to turn the TV OFF. I believe U.S. tax money should be spent HERE in the U.S.
The economy in the U.S. is not doing well. Many thousands here have lost good paying full time jobs and now have only part time jobs and depend on food stamps.

Equal protection under the law means it applies to everyone or it applies to no one. Perhaps officer Farva should try to understand the unintended consequences his attitude could crate and remember that he swore an oath to support and defend, just like the One did. Unfortunately, there are those who do not take their oath as seriously as others. But, there are many more who do. I believe many treat everyone with dignity and respect regardless. It is difficult in some cases though not impossible to remain detached from the situation and remain professional and appropriate. The officer in this situation was not, and he handled it poorly. It is hopeful that when his superiors see the video, they will take action to prevent future incidents from occuring. It is a blackeye to LEO’s everywhere.
