There’s a stark difference in how the media is reporting on rallies across the country. Of course, if you’re at the right rally, you get great coverage.

    Immigration Fiestas:

    CNN Reports:

“Organizers said that they’re really hoping that they could send a message with the number of people. And, take a look at the number of people, Fredricka, it’s pretty remarkable at how many people are out here in Los Angeles demanding some sort of comprehensive immigration reform.”

*Note: Comprehensive Immigration Reform = Amnesty

    Video:

    Tea Parties:

    CNN Reports:

“I think you get the general tenor of this. It’s anti-government. It’s anti-CNN, since this is highly promoted by the right-wing conservative network FOX, and since I can’t really hear much more and that this is not really family viewing I pass it back to you Karen”

    Video:

    How’s that for unbiased reporting?

      1. Comments…..This time American “journalism” must actually be taken to task about their lies.
New York (CNN) – The New York Police Department has released a photo of
a suspect linked to the Times Square recruitment center Thursday bombing.
The photo of the suspect, extracted from surveillance footage and
released on Friday, shows an individual riding a bicycle away from the scene
shortly after the explosion. Police also distributed a second photo showing a
metallic blue bicycle that was found nearby.

These scumbags were shamelessly(criminally) making this crap up as they went; just jumping from

      2. and it should be noted that May Day, May 1st, when these immigration protests took place, and were heavily organized by the likes of SEIU, etc, is an official Holiday of  of many socialist countries.

        From our “friends” at Wikipedia

“May Day occurs on May 1st and refers to several public holidays.[1] In many countries, May Day is synonymous with International Workers’ Day, or Labour Day, a day of political demonstrations and celebrations organised by unions and other groups.”

        International Workers’ Day

Approximately 700,000 people at a May Day concert in Rome [9]

        Main article: International Workers’ Day
May Day can refer to various labour celebrations conducted on May 1st that commemorate the fight for the eight-hour day. May Day in this regard is called International Workers’ Day, or Labour Day. The idea for a “workers holiday” began in Australia in 1856; after a Stonemason’s victory, April 22nd was “Eight-Hour Day”, a public holiday.[10][11] With the idea having spread around the world, the choice of May 1st became a commemoration by the Second International for the people involved in the 1886 Haymarket affair.[12]
The Haymarket affair occurred during the course of a three-day general strike in Chicago, Illinois, United States that involved common laborers, artisans, merchants and immigrants.[13] Following an incident in which police opened fire and killed four strikers at the McCormick Harvesting Machine Co. plant, a rally was called for the following day at Haymarket Square. Toward the end of the rally police moved in to disperse the event and opened fire on the unarmed crowd on the grounds that an unknown assailant threw a bomb into the crowd of police. The bomb and resulting police riot left at least a dozen people dead of which only one was a policeman.[14]
A sensational show trial ensued in which eight defendants were interrogated for their political beliefs and not necessarily for any involvement in the bombing.[15] The trial led to the eventual public hanging of four anarchists.[16] The Haymarket incident was a source of outrage from people around the globe. In the following years, memory of the “Haymarket Martyrs” was observed with various May Day job actions and demonstrations.[17]
May Day has become an international celebration of the social and economic achievements of the Labour Movement. Although the commemoration of May Day as International Workers’ Day received its inspiration from the United States, the U.S. Congress designated May 1st as Loyalty Day in 1958 due to the day’s perceived appropriation by the Soviet Union.[18] Alternatively, Labor Day traditionally occurs on the first Monday in September in the United States. May Day is often used for political protest. Examples include the million people who demonstrated against far-right candidate Jean-Marie Le Pen in France and the annual rallies in support of illegal immigrants and illegal immigrants’ rights in major cities across the United States to include Seattle and New York

      3. Does anyone realize we are ALL illegal immigrants?  Unless you are a native American, and there is no guarantee they were the first ones here.

Your obsession with imaginary borders is rather odd.

      4. How can a Mexican man peacefully crossing an arbitrary border, (established by a well-known criminal syndicate) with the malicious intentions of working, possibly be considered an “aggressor”? Yes, each person has the categorical right to repel unwanted invaders from his or her property. But how could libertarians possibly claim the US Government, which obtains all of its revenue through aggression, has the legitimate property title to the entire border with Mexico? If you don’t think so, exactly whose right to life, liberty, and property is our aforementioned “illegal,” (and, by logical extension, the executives who hired him, and the neighborhood who welcomed his family) violating?
There is little to no case to be made here without smuggling statist rationales through the backdoor.
        http://www.yaliberty.org/posts/you-believe-in-individual-rights-libertarianism-and-border-security-dude-really

      5. Borders are not imaginary. They are legal boundries established to separate one nation from another, so there is nothing odd about borders at all. Its the accepted norm all over the world. Thats why we have the United States and Mexico; Russia and China, Argentina and Brazil. They are all separate legal entities, separate cultures, and separate people; with separate histories and distinct languages. Any similarities are purely coincidental.

Good fences make good neighbors. Thats why Mexican Nationals need to go home. They are not US citizens. They are FOREIGNERS! They need to take their language, culture, history, and twelve kids with them when they leave.

And please, make a special point to take that God awful Mexican polka music with you!

      6. The ultimate goal of this divide-and-conquer trick is to get you to finally accept the national ID scam – and you are all falling for it.

      7. I am an American Citizen. I have nothing to fear from the “national ID scam” The government already has my birth certificate, school records, military records, passport records, medical records, tax records, and FBI file.

Show them yours or go home.

      8. I oppose a national ID card. I’m with zuk – all of my records are here and accessible. If someone wants to be here, they should follow the rules and become citizens with legal papers. (Although look at the NY bomber – he became a citizen last year – maybe we should just close the borders, period!!)
Just because I am willing to stand up and say that I support the Arizona law, and that I think we should close the borders of this country to illegal immigration, does not make me racist or prejudiced. And I’m getting tired of these fall-back accusations by the bleeding hearts who know no other way to argue their point!   No other country in the world allows unlimited and unmonitored access into the country, and neither should we. Most countries will put you in jail if you are caught crossing their border illegally. Why should we be any different??
I worked in a federal prison that housed over 2,000 inmates – all illegal immigrants, all convicted of crimes in the U.S. – ranging from theft to child molestation to assault. These are not the kind of people we need coming into this country, and the sooner we can stop them the better. BTW – those 2,000+ inmates were being housed, clothed,  fed and given health care on yours and my tax dollars!!! And there are many more prisons like that one. I fully understand why Arizona has said – ENOUGH!!!

      9. Thats it GrannyB, give these wannabees the FACTS! As for a “national ID card”, we already have them, starting with a driver’s license which can determine who you are with some certainty.

I don’t oppose the government having this data, or combining it into one electronic file. I DO oppose marketing companies from having personal info which they are collecting. They are collecting all that they can, including what we buy at the grocer store or anywhere else for that matter with a credit or debit card.

This is the “cloud computing” that is talked about so much. All of that is being tagged with your personal ID attached to it, with digital phone records and email addresses if they can get the data from you.

I use cash, except for large essential purchases. And use a number of aliases on the Net with a number of email addresses. Its amazing to see, GrannyB, how these marketing companies try to get me to reveal my true identity.

As for the Mexican Nationals, they already have a national ID card if I am not mistaken, and its issued by MEXICO!

      10. One more point GrannyB: Know and understand that I have declared the Age of White Guilt over! White citizens no longer need feel guilty or sympathetic for the plight of Mexican Nationals. They are NOT the responsibility of the US Taxpayer.

Mexico is a rich nation, has been for hundreds of years, yet have continued to exploit their own peasants. The Catholic Church in Mexico has done nothing to help these poor souls except funnel them to the United States to be supported and subsidized by the US Taxpayer. (Even the Soviets educated and supported their own masses.)

For their part the Mexican peasant masses have failed to restrain themselves from having as many children as they have fingers and toes. Its their own fault they are poor and hungry and uneducated, because they continue to have children they cannot afford, and have found a nifty scam in the United States to have their wives, girlfriends, and children subsidized by the US taxpayer.

Evidence in Arizona shows that when Mexican Nationals are denied American jobs, then American workers have jobs and can get off unemployment and on with their lives. 45 % of the companies investigated by ICE show illegal employees. Pro Ranch Markets had to fire 300 Mexican Nationals. 300 American citzens now have jobs.

Illegal immigration is about economics, American jobs for American workers and American Sovereignty. No white citizen, or any other American citizen needs to feel guilty for the plight of the Illegal Mexican Nationals invading the United States. On the contrary, we need to be very vocal, very active, and very angry at all persons, parties, and organizations that support these Illegals at the expense of the American taxpayer.

        MEXICANS, GO HOME!!!

      11. At a minimum, these proposed cards will contain a memory device that stores distinct – and highly personal – physical or biological information unique to the cardholder such as fingerprints, retina scan information, a mapping of the veins on the top of your hand, and so on. Eventually, other information, such as personal business and financial data, will probably also be stored on these cards. For the cards to be effective, an information storage system and central database, which will be managed by the government and its corporate handlers, will be required. That means a lot of taxpayer dollars will be used to create the ultimate tracking device to be used against American citizens.

As journalist Megan Carpentier reports, “The federal government wants to spend hundreds of millions of dollars, and force employees and employers still suffering from a recession to do the same, to create and make accessible to every employer a national database of the fingerprints of all Americans from the time they are 14 years old. And they want to do it in order to keep an estimated 11.9 million unauthorized immigrants – less than 4 percent of the total population of the United States – from accessing the job market.” Under threat of substantial fines by the government and in what promises to be a cumbersome, bureaucratic process, employers will have to purchase ID card scanning devices (or visit their local DMV) in order to scan the cards of every individual they wish to hire before that individual can be employed. What this amounts to, essentially, is a troubling system in which all Americans would have to get clearance from the federal government in order to get a job.
Furthermore, the law’s requirement that machine-readable technology be incorporated into the card opens the door for radio frequency identification (RFID) tags to be placed on the cards. RFID is a tiny, automatic identification system that enables data – in this case the private information of American citizens – to be transmitted by a portable device. This will provide the government with unprecedented access to American citizens’ personal information. In addition, RFID tags emit radio frequency signals that allow the government to track the movement of the cards, as well as the cardholders. In other words, wherever your card goes, so do the government monitors.
When all is said and done, the adoption of a national biometric ID card serves one purpose only: to provide the government with the ultimate control over the American people. As one commentator has remarked, this is a “naked government power grab.”

        http://www.lewrockwell.com/orig8/whitehead10.1.html

      12. Ironically, the national ID card you nuts want will be used to legalize the illegals.  Friggin hilarious!

        ——–

The proposal would unconstitutionally force nearly all Americans to obtain the new “tamper proof” Social Security cards while purporting to require that all employers purchase new $800 ID scanners. It would also provide a “path to citizenship” for the estimated 12 million to 20 million illegal immigrants currently living in America.

        http://www.thenewamerican.com/index.php/usnews/politics/3248-obama-co-want-national-biometric-id

      13. Here’s a story for you, zuk…
Had a guy at the prison who had broken some state law, and admitted he wanted to get in the prison because he had health issues he wanted taken care of! And he started agitating about getting a partial denture because he was missing some front teeth. Eventually, the dentures were approved (not sure why!). A short time after that he was released and deported back to Mexico. About 9 months later, right before I left the job, he was back in the prison. He had crossed the border, and again committed a not-too serious crime (but enough to get back into the federal system) and he made a point of coming to me to show me that one of the teeth had broken out of the denture and he wanted it repaired!!! (I was the administrator for the facility medical unit.) I left before he had any dental work, and sincerely hope he was denied for that repair. But he was supposed to be in the facility for another 2 years…all on our nickel!!! For a large number of those guys, it was a “free” ticket for room, board and medical. I left in total disgust. They never should have been able to enter the U.S.

ANYONE in public office supporting these illegals should be voted out asap.

      14. I have no problem with a “tamper proof social security card” imbeded with relevant personal information including a retina scan. The DOD and the State of Arizona already have my fingerprints, but maybe not yours. On second thought, Sheriff Joe may have yours. You must be an illegal because you support them so strongly. I would point out that all persons, groups, and organizations that do support foreigners in the country are the same people, groups, and organizations that exploit them the most: either for money, power, or sex.  Which is your motive?

These cards will be used to separate citizens from foreigners and foreigners will have to go home. If you can’t stop with Sheriff Joe on your back …. wave goodbye!

      15. zukadu – evidently you missed the part where the cards will be used as a path to citizenship for the “illegals”…

      16. GrannyB: You are absolutely right! I totally agree. I believe that the politicians are finally starting to get the message, but we need to send a clear message to ALL of them by dumping John McCain in Arizona. Once an American hero, he is now the consumate creep in office, back tracking again about border security trying to get re-elected. He wants to die in office so he can lie in State. Hope he will be history.

        Sooner rather than later.

      17. “Do we believe that people who openly flout our immigration laws will nonetheless respect our ID requirements? Any ID card can be forged; any federal agency or state DMV is susceptible to corruption. Criminals can and will obtain national ID cards, or operate without them. National ID cards will be used to track the law-abiding masses, not criminals.”  — Ron Paul

      18. disinter: No, you missed the point. Social Security Cards, and National ID cards are for American citizens. If you are a foreign national you won’t get one! You don’t get a card just because you are here. if you don’t have an ID after they are issued to American citizens ……

You go home or go to jail. Take your pick.

If you are a Mexican National and you want to be an American citizen, join one of our military services, serve honorably for six years, and I will personally write you a letter of recommendation and explain my desire that you be assimilated into the United States as a citizen for your service to the Nation.

      19. By definition, “tamper proof cards” are well, tamper proof. If they have the individual’s bio signatures, they are not going to be counterfitted.

        They cannot be “duplicated”.

      20. “Social Security Cards, and National ID cards are for American citizens. If you are a foreign national you won’t get one! You don’t get a card just because you are here. if you don’t have an ID after they are issued to American citizens ……”

Umm, you really are ignorant. People immigrating here can purchase social security cards relatively easily.

      21. HELL NO!!! to national ID cards, they are using the illegal argument to push the big brother technology, it won’t do anything to stop illegals, it will just take us further down the rabbit hole!!

      22. The downfall of the Roman empire started with their use of non-citizens in the army.

      23. Wrong again, disnter! The US Constitution and Bill of Rights declare and outline for me, as an American Citizen, those unalienable rights with which I am endowed by my Creator.

Mexicans don’t have those rights, because well, they are MEXICANS you moron! Their rights are defined by their Constitution, not the US Constitution. The only rights they have in the US are those rights permitted by VISA. If they don’t have a VISA, they have NO rights.

        GO HOME MEXICANS!

      24. Willie Wonka; I appreciate your sentiments, but the reality is that the technology is here, and it is being used. Its called “cloud computing”. May as well use it to track criminals and illegals so we can throw them in jail before we throw them out of the country.

If you are a citizen, all of your personal information is available via computer to the government now, as I detailed in a earlier post; except for that information for which your permission is required.  (Btw, I left out my University transcripts) That info is available too if requested of the courts by law enforcement. Average Americans have nothing to fear from readily available information which can be obtained and is obtained during a traffic stop. Only crimminals and illegals need fear that inquiry.

We may as well use bio technology to SECURE and PRESERVE our identities from crimminals and illegals who would like to continue using old tech which they can circumvent; and by which they can and do destroy your credit and drain your bank account.

We do need to develop strong personal protection laws against “cloud computing” commercial companies who are assembling every bit and byte of information that they can find about you. They know so much, even the government buys this data to embellish their files. Laws need to be written and enforced against the collection of individual data by commercial cloud computing companies.

That is where “Big Brother is really hiding (in plain sight) and they are profiting from your personal information!

      25. The immigration debate is a scam. It’s fear-mongering, foisted by busy-bodies of all varieties. The result will be Bigger Government in Washington, DC. It will control YOU.

        (from link in last comment)

      26. Wrong again! The “scam” has been the program that the Satanic Priesthood of the Catholic Church, Mexico, and Illegal Mexican Nationals have foisted upon an unsuspecting American public and taxpayers. The game is up! We know what you are doing and The Age of White Guilt is Over. The scum who have been committing the scam are going to be deported!

        Get them Sheriif Joe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      27. You’re worried that if people emigrate, you might not pull down $18/hour plus benefits to be a high school custodian — as if being compelled by the forces of supply and demand to accept a $13/hour gig instead is a degradation even remotely similar to being locked in some craphole third-world country making $100 shoes for 8 cents a day.

        http://www.nothirdsolution.com/2010/05/06/an-open-letter-to-libertarians-against-immigration-amnesty/

zukadu – you are one sick individual.

      28. Disinter:   I sympathize with the plight of the people living in a “craphole third world country”. I have been there, I have seen it, and I have wept for them. I have even risked my life for their freedom, which is probably more than you have done or are willing to do. You are clearly a “talker” not a “doer”.

I am just not financially responsible for them or other “craphole third world” nationals. Neither are the other American taxpayers who have been picking up the tab for the Mexican Nationals in my country illegally.

As for wages, know and understand that I was making $52,000 per year in 1986; $ 150,000 by 1993; and by 2000 I had a net worth of more than $250 million dollars when gold was $500 per ounce. Gold is now about $1200 per ounce. Do the math, genius.

The issue is not cash, compassion, or charity. The issue is character and the invasion of the United States by 30 million nationals of a foreign power, directed by a Satanic Catholic Priesthood, aided and abetted by St Marys Food Banks across the country, with the expressed intent to impose their language and culture upon the US instead of assimilating into it.

Mexican Nationals are poor and uneducated and will continue to be poor and uneducated because they refuse to quit having children they cannot afford, while expecting the American taxpayer to subsidize them. Why should I pay Mexican Nationals to perpetuate their genes when 45% of ALL hispanic families receive some form of US Government financial assistance. They want the American dream without the American sacrifice.

The Age of White Guilt is Over. Mexicans go home!

      29. Gee, I am glad you appreciate my sentiments but that you are still right! Hilarious the level of misguided self importance from the self proclaimed geniuses lurking website comment sections.

No, cloud computing is, in a nutshell, centralized software, resources and info (which is the part maybe  you are refering to).  users have a terminal at their location and instead of having the software on their machine, they access it elsewhere. They pay a fee to use it instead of buying their own copy.

It is not “new” technology, it is just a “direction” IT has taken.   Someone came up with a way to subvert software companies , make the money themselves, and I am sure other nefarious reasons.. The only reason this path wasn’t taken before was computing power.

Cloud computing is information, it doesn’t mean it has to be used to control/track/know everything about us us.
Great its there, so we might as well enslave ourselves.  Nukes exist so lets use them, what if razor blade condoms existed, would you use them just cause they exist?

Sophisticated “solutions” create sophisticated problems.  This is nothing more than another step down the rabbit hole.  If you think we can trust TPTB controlling all that info you are CRAZY!  Yes much of it may be there already but they are still working on ways to use it to CONTROL, and if you don’t believe that, then, well I already said it.

      30. Yes, I was refering to the vast databases being assembled by commercial companies. These are the real demons to be concerned about. They assemble every digital bit of data they can collect about an individual and then sell it to anyone that will pay for it. You and I are being bought and sold every day without our consent, or payment.
There is the real villan. Do something about them.

I am not a fan of the government if you have read my rants about them (R1, D1, L1), but the government already has our data, because we do business with them on a regular basis. They do not sell or disclose our personal data. As for using that data to control us, I have two suggestions for you: First understand that this is your country. You are a principal and heir in this Republic. Take ownership of it. Second, if you still “fear” what belongs to you, wear a tinfoil hat to bed at night to diffuse the paranoia and you will sleep better and not be so crabby.

Finally, I am not a genius. My IQ is only 136. That doesn’t get me an invitation to MENSA, but it does make me smart enough to connect the dots; and it makes me “smarter” than Obama and Palin: which, on second thought,  may not be all that much to brag about.
