EDITOR’S NOTE: Make no mistake, politicians are coming for your guns. The Australian government just committed acts of aggression and violence against people who had not done the same.

Australian special police forces seized a total of 475 guns across the country in a week-long crackdown on illegal firearms, according to AAP (via Yahoo).

Dubbed Operation Athena, the crackdown targeting firearms trafficking involved all police jurisdictions – including the Australian Federal Police, the Australian Border Force and the Department of Home Affairs.

According to Detective Superintendent Peter Brigham from the Victoria Police State Anti-Gangs Division, trafficking of illegal firearms remains a key law enforcement issue across the country.

“The community should be reassured we are getting results. We’re arresting people and charging them with serious offenses, and we are continuing to seize illicit firearms from criminals every week,” he said.

In Victoria, 91 guns were seized and 12 people arrested – who face a total of 44 charges.

Police also served 10 new firearms prohibition orders and conducted a number of searches in relation to existing orders in the state.

“The results from the week of action not just in Victoria but right across the country are testament to the work that’s being done by a number of agencies to target those involved with the trafficking and use of illicit firearms, and try and prevent further harm to our communities,” Det. Sup Brigham said.

In New South Wales, 81 fire arms were confiscated, while in South Australia, the Northern Territory and Western Australia, 14 warrants were executed by the ABF, in relation to the recent detection of suppressors at the border. –Yahoo

Also confiscated were a number of suppressors and unsecured ammunition.

“Our clear message is do not attempt to import firearms, parts or accessories without a proper permit. If you do, we will seize these items and pursue appropriate criminal charges. Under the Customs Act, possible charges include ten years imprisonment, a fine of up to $525,000, or both,” said ABF Commander Graeme Grosse.

Gun ownership is heavily regulated in Australia due to restrictions put in place following the April 1996 Port Arthur Massacre, in which 35 people were killed and 23 wounded when gunman Martin Bryant opened fire at the Port Arthur Bay’s Broad Arrow Café with an AR-15.

When someone looks out at the world and sees all manner of suffering and injustice, stretching back for thousands of years and continuing today, he invariably blames such problems on someone else’s hatred, greed, or stupidity. Rarely will someone consider the possibility that his own belief system is the cause of the pain and suffering he sees around him. But in most cases, it is. The root cause of most of society’s ills–the main source of man’s inhumanity to man–is neither malice nor negligence, but a mere superstition–an unquestioned assumption which has been accepted on faith by nearly everyone, of all ages, races, religions, education and income levels. If people were to recognize that one belief for what it is–an utterly irrational, self-contradictory, and horribly destructive myth–most of the violence, oppression and injustice in the world would cease. But that will happen only when people dare to honestly and objectively re-examine their belief systems. “The Most Dangerous Superstition” exposes the myth for what it is, showing how nearly everyone, as a result of one particular unquestioned assumption, is directly contributing to violence and oppression without even realizing it. If you imagine yourself to be a compassionate, peace-loving, civilized human being, you must read this book.

      1. Most of us are thinking of Rando and Mick Dundee. They have hoodrats and ecoterror.

I would have my cake and eat it, too. Don’t see why everyone must have the same rights, or noone.

      2. illicit, sounds bad or evil..

They were all legal at some point and I doubt all people involved
        were trafficking.
Probably nabbed a few kids out target shooting and put them in jail for having fun.

Retribution, some day it will happen.

      5. “Operation Athena”

As per Wikipedia (with my emphasis) —
“Athena or Athene, often given the epithet Pallas, is an ancient Greek goddess associated with wisdom, handicraft, and *warfare who was later syncretized with the Roman goddess Minerva. Athena was regarded as the patron and *protectress of various cities across Greece, particularly the city of Athens, from which she most likely received her name. She is usually shown in art wearing a *helmet and holding a *spear. Her major symbols include owls, olive trees, snakes, and the Gorgoneion.

From her origin as an Aegean palace goddess, Athena was closely associated with the city. She was known as Polias and Poliouchos (both derived from polis, meaning “city-state”), and her temples were usually located atop the *fortified acropolis in the central part of the city. The Parthenon on the Athenian Acropolis is dedicated to her, along with numerous other temples and monuments. As the patron of craft and weaving, Athena was known as Ergane. She was also a *warrior goddess, and was believed to lead *soldiers into *battle as Athena Promachos…”

In the symbolism of battle and banners, the red flag means they give no quarter and expect none.

In their backward regression toward feudalism, there is a theme of capturing a host population, as when olden kingdoms would have been conquered. They are forever counting coups, inflicting passive aggression, and every possible means of ritualistic navy ‘chickensht’. There are codes, history, and pageantry. Martial law is it’s own culture.

“The Most Dangerous Superstition” exposes the myth…
These people literally have their own mythology.

      6. Just so the Yanks know; these weapons were confiscated from criminals who dont have a license for any type of firearm, and idiots with a license who have purchased or imported firearm parts for weapons not on their license.

I my myself have a number of .223 bolt, a .223 semi auto Remington and a nice old .308 bolt. Sold my handguns awhiles ago, but may get more in the future when time allows.

So no, we are not disarmed

        • How long will it be before the Chinese annex Australia ?

      7. Another infromercial. This story, which is only one-sided, is just to sell the book, click the Amazon link.

No point in this story at all. Stupid story and it’s obvious.

I’d expect the law enforcement to seize illegal guns. Don’t you?

WHAT PART OF THE WORD ILLEGAL DON’T YOU UNDERSTAND?

This story is designed to get you to click the link to a booklet sold on Amazon.

        • b said, “WHAT PART OF THE WORD ILLEGAL DON’T YOU UNDERSTAND?”

Why do Holder’s sons say they come out of nowhere, and why do conservatives ask where they all went.

I think that social credit will grade on a curve / with a handicap, particularly, based on trade deals with other countries and grants from special interests.

I think, it will be illegal for WASP masculinists, in the same respect that other forms of business and generic participation are already illegal.

      8. Before you rip me a new asshole.

When laws are ignored you end up with 40 million illegal aliens and 125 million entitlement cheats. When laws are not enforced you get tens of millions of drug addicts living legally on the streets, certain murderers are set free due to the jury disregarding the laws. That is my point.

If you don’t like the law, get it changed. Otherwise expect it to be enforced, regardless of race, sex, religion and the other 109 federally and state protected classes —- which all ought to be banned, since we are all created equally, why have special rights for only certain colours/et al.?

        • Social credit is now being mentioned, but, so far as I am concerned, the Lost Generation is getting flipped-off, usually.

b said, “we are all created equally, why have special rights for only certain colours/et al.?”

Would you like to see some replacement demographics, in their natural state? There are politically-incorrect documentaries, if you have the stomach.

      9. According to Wiki there are about 260,000 illegal or un registered guns in Australia, I’m sure this is utter BS, how do count something nobody wants to admit to?
475 guns seized, seems just a drop in the bucket.
If this were America, everyone of those cops would have to worry about what is going to happen to their family. The cops would be Doxed and are now fair game.
One thing notable thing about Australia gun laws is they can lock up their nutcases, so the claim that their guns laws save lives is somewhat like comparing apples and oranges, to what we have to deal with.

        • rellik

If they knew approximately how many guns have been sold in Australia and subtracted those turned in, confiscated or registered in legal hands they could come up with a reasonably accurate number. I believe Australia has had some accounting post WWII on gross sales and imports.

        • Rellik, anyone who comes to forcibly take anything I have will just get shot. They’ll be fair game; just not wasting any time with doxing.

      10. Tump and the USA have put a big bump into the move to a one world order.

They desperately need to get guns out of patriots hands
They desperately need to defeat Trump
The world movement that Trump has started in eastern Europe, and now in England is a major blow to the world elite and all the central banks of the world.

I am really concerned that the OWO will do something very drastic – a black swan event – they want a 90% reduction in the worlds population – why not begin now?

        • One Russian or American boomer can take out every major city on earth. Problem solved. One US D-5 missle would solve most of America’s problems.

            Duplicate NO

        • “Tump and the USA have put a big bump into the move to a one world order.”

I don’t know about that ‘big”. MIC spending is at a record, we have a new bottomless pit the Space Force, Wall Street still runs along deregulated without reauthorizing Glass-Stegall, neither Snowden or Assange is pardoned and the NSA is still doing what the NSA does best without domestic limitations like the 4th Amendment. Better than Hillary? Of course. A savior? I’ll reserve judgement.

      11. Why is the US so important to the globalists Because the US has a CONSTITUTION that allows people to bear arms. AUSTRALIA NEVER HAD that in their Constitution so what can one say …. “Bend over” slave? This will not and cannot be achieved without complete war and destruction and attack against the people of America. SO … what is that answer????

      12. And not ONE of those Aussie pussies did a damn thing. Just like the Brits and just like the American’s will too. Big talk but they WILL take your gun and NO you won’t do a goddamn thing . It’s all just big talk.

        • Stuart

That substantiates the claim that legal gun owners are overwhelmingly law abiding. Point well made.

      13. bout it kevin 2

      14. I meant Stuart

      15. So tired of yet another backwards logic article by Tyler Durden. No, if somebody else I’ve never met shoots up a lot of other people I’ve never met in a place I’ve never been, it is not somehow my fault. The American legal phrase is “innocent until proven guilty”, which is not the legal framework in British Commonwealth countries, such as Australia and Canada. No, Americans are not going to take the blame anymore, or ever, for other people’s crimes & thought crimes. If you want to get into concepts of universal guilt, or “universal cultural assumptions”, or humanity’s fallen nature, well, take it up with your priest and start learning Chiristianity, the concepts of original (universal) sin, which is the universal diseased propensity to do evil, vs personal sin, the failure to overcome that tendency toward evil, and the concept of forgiveness. Your failure to overcome your own evil tendencies has nothing to do with my own personal sin. We have no right to jackboot over innocent people for the sins of lone gunmen hundreds or thousands of miles away. That is what separation of church and state means. So take your book promo and sell it to the Godless heathens. Or just download the Bible today.
