American Gulag Death Of Jeffrey Epstein: Will Julian Assange Be Next?

The death of millionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein behind bars should trigger “system-wide self-reflection” on how prisoners are treated. The Metropolitan Correctional Center “is sort of like an American gulag for people who have not been convicted of anything,” Epstein lawyer Marc Fernich said.

Epstein had at least some dirt on some high-powered people like Bill Clinton and he could very well be dead because he was going to talk.

And another person currently jailed for giving the American public information the United States government desperately wanted to keep secret, is Julian Assange.  His health is failing and the highly dubious death of Jeffrey Epstein in a U.S. maximum-security prison is another strong reason not to extradite Assange into one.

Epstein’s death has gotten his lawyer to speak out about the conditions in American prisons, likening them to the gulags of the Soviet Union. MCC is “institutionally ill-equipped” to deal with someone like Epstein who wouldn’t last long in general population but who isn’t a hardened criminal, Fernich explained to RT.  “This is one of the toughest pre-trial detention facilities in the country. And the conditions are inhumane.” Epstein, he insists, was “presumed innocent,” despite his 2008 conviction for soliciting underage prostitutes – part of a slap-on-the-wrist plea deal the fallout from which culminated in this year’s sex trafficking charges – and should not have been confined in suchbarbaric” conditions.

But there is every reason to fear Assange is already in danger, in Belmarsh maximum-security prison, where he is currently incarcerated. Assange did the unthinkable. He exposed the government for what it really is: a corrupt authoritarian entity that firmly believes it has the right to enslave everyone else.  Pressenza wrote: “The Establishment has conspired to reduce his ability to defend himself in court.  I am not convinced it is not conspiring to destroy him.”

John Pilger has been attempting to alert the public to what several governments are attempting to do to Assange for the crime of publishing the truth.

Why EVERYONE Should Be Outraged At Assange’s Arrest

Truth is treason in the empire of lies.  Deaths like Epstein’s had the benefit of at least waking up some of the public to the lies and deception by the propaganda outlets also known as the mainstream media.  They are desperately trying to silence anyone who questions the establishment’s official narrative.  But even Fernich himself is “skeptical” about the medical examiner’s conclusion that Epstein committed suicide. “It would not surprise me… to learn of anything that might have happened to Jeffrey Epstein,” he says, adding that Epstein’s mysterious death will be the subject of discussion for decades. Similarly, the mainstream media has blood on their hands when it comes to Assange, according to another tweet by Pilger.

“People in the United States are skeptical of anything that the government puts out because the intelligence-gathering process in our country has been weaponized for political ends,” said Fernich.

In Parasites on Parade, Larken Rose (author of “The Most Dangerous Superstition” and “The Iron Web”) uses his own direct experiences with bureaucratic and judicial stupidity, intrusion and corruption to illustrate why, everywhere and at all times, in every situation and at every level, government sucks! This snarky, flippant look at the mentality and tactics of various state busybodies also provides an important lesson regarding the true nature of political “authority,” and the problems and abuses it naturally creates

      1. Forgive me if I don’t feel any sympathy for that dirt bag.

        • What exactly do you think he did? He isn’t even an American and never swore an oath to our country – unlike that rat b32t3rd Snowden.

          • “unlike that rat b32t3rd Snowden.”

Ed Snowden informed the public that the NSA was grossly violating the 4th Amendment. Mass spying upon the US public is both a gross violation of the 4th Amendment and with it the more frightening facilitation of the tampering with democracy at both the grass roots level and through potential blackmail with the suborning of public officials including judges. One would be utterly naive to believe that some high moral standard precludes such behavior. Need I repeat “Jeffery Epstein”, “Lolita Island” and the “who’s who” of the powerful “entertained” there along with the not surprising demise, by violent means, of Mr Epstein while in Federal hands.

            • I’d be very careful of what you post. Look twice before you cross the street.

              • Think any of us are that important?

          • Not a fan of Assange. Like Assange or not he told us how corrupt our own government is. How they violate our constitutional rights under the guise of national security. If he is extradited to the US he will be murdered in DOJ Custody, probably suicide in jail. We have the most corrupt, unconstitutional and illegal government since Hoover.

        • RS – Why is Assange a dirt bag? He and others have exposed a lot of high level corruption, crimes, and agendas by TPTB. Don’t fool yourself, you mean nothing to them, they want you to believe he is a dirtbag. These same people despise you and consider you nothing more than a disposable managed resource.
They are primarily not driven by ideology (people with ideologies are mere tools for TPTB), but by lust for unbridled global power, control, and domination of resources.
Many individuals are now willing to kiss their chains for the privilege to ask for permission, or for the crumbs they get.
It isn’t just Assange being shut down, there are now efforts (by officialdom, “civil rights” organizations, NGOs, media, think tanks, and quasi-secret organizations) to shut down all voices who disagree with approved narratives. And we are already being tracked and cataloged like livestock in every phone call, every text, every email, every financial transaction, every interaction with officialdom, and everywhere we go.
Looks to me like you have been successfully propagandized.

          • What can we do for Julian Assange now? How can we help?

          • He was talking about Epstein

        • This isn’t about your feelings. It is about the rule of law. Everyone deserves the right to defend themselves in court. This is extra-judicial killing (murder) we expect from Venezuela, Soviet Union by powerful people (eg Clintons) trying to cover their own guilt. Innocent people (witnesses) are also imprisoned in this medieval torture chamber with the worst murderers and violent prisoners in order to force them to testi-lie to please corrupt and mean prosecutors who should be spending time as prisoners there themselves. Cyrus Vance is one of them.

        • Try some critical thinking instead of parroting CiaNN programming.

        • You like being lied to by our own government? That or you are part of it. I don’t see how anybody can stick up for a corrupt deceitful government. All Asante did was expose them for whom they are and your basically calling Asante the traitor! I guess up is down, black is white and truth are lies in the world you live in.

        • julian’s just mad ’cause they don’t let him smear doo-doo on the walls…

        • Dirt bag or not. You missed the point, in the US you are now guilty until proven innocent. The government can hold you as long as they like without bail simply by attaching “National Security Threat” to you because they don’t have to say why you are a threat just “it is a matter of national security yor honor” is all they have to say. You seem fine with this approach though. Just wait until it’s you behind bars; and don’t think you’ll never have this happen becasue you never do anything worng. There are plenty of people in jail who never did anything wrong.

          • REPEAL THE PATRIOT ACT NOW, AND THIS CEASES! That unconstitutional law was always designed for the domestic population

        • No, I don’t think we will.

        • repr sleepr

Assange exposed the truth which doesn’t sit well to those in power. Assange is the Free Press and as such is fully protected according to the US Supreme Court ruling New York Times Co. v. United States, 403 U.S. 713 (1971); but he must make to court alive. In it the opinion, written by Justice Hugo Black, clearly stated the intent of the most holy of holy First Amendment; “The Press is to serve the governed, not the governors”.

        • So, you are all knowing. And the government tells you the truth. I see

      2. Assange’s story is heartbreaking. But to the average sports fan and buffet grazer, it is insignificant….

        • You hit the nail on the head. As long as the masses have their, entertainment and fast food they could care less.

          • Bread and Circuses uber alles.

        • THE “TRIVAGO GUY”..A DEAD RINGER FOR EPSTEIN…

      3. A predator became prey. As they all will.

      4. Trump is presiding over the death of the First Amendment and true journalism. Assange reported the truth and will be persecuted for life. Meanwhile Americans are ignorant or even worse, willfully ignorant. The persecution of Assange is testimony to a fallen people.

        • Are you kidding? Trump would have loved Epstein to spill the beans on the DNC, Clinton, and every scumbag that ran with him. This was a Deep State Assassination and Assange will be next as he crossed the Clintons,

          • The actions that Epstein was a part of is in the center of US intelligence. Think the NSA who coincidently records everything everywhere wasn’t a co-conspirator? Think the powerful who “enjoyed themselves” on “Fantasy Island” weren’t blackmailed for future use? Clinton was but one player. An inherently corrupt system survives by corruption. The heads that would roll span the globe in both the public and private sector. AG Barr had no intention of protecting the most important prisoner in Federal custody awaiting trial. If he had chosen to do so Epstein would have been guarded by Federal Marshals.

            • The business of Honey Trapping is not as simple as it used to be. Epstein got a bit too greedy, and certainly shouldn’t have messed with all those power players, esp. the most lethal crime syndicate in the world; The Clinton Crime Family Foundation.

              • Epstein was a mere tool. There is no way that US intelligence wasn’t up to its ears in this. Clinton was just one player, likely bait to bring in numerous “fish”; “Prime Minister, do I know a place to party”.

        • Those who are “presiding” over the “Death of the 1st Amendment and true journalism” are the social activist, propagandists who call themselves journalists. They are the frauds and liars who, day in, day out, concoct a new crisis and pseudo-event. Trump has not done a damn thing to curtail the 1st Amendment, unlike several prior Presidents, Obama, LBJ, JFK, Wilson, FDR, Lincoln, who prosecuted “journalists”, weaponized the IRS, FBI and security apparatus against them, seized the publications and imprisoned journalists. Do not label Americans ignorant, some are, many are not. Save the anti-American bias for the radical, intolerant left

        • Those who are okay with using any means necessary to crush an opponent (using fake dossiers to obtain fisa warrants, attempting to plant shills in opposition team, colluding with sympathetic press to affect public opinion, using undercover agents to set up scenarios for entrapment of any member on opponents team etc) are more likely the ones who want Assange dead. And they’re more likely the ones to make it happen.

And they’re more likely the folks who would make it happen.

        • Come out of your bubble little TDS snowflake. The deep state set the wheels in motion to persecute Assange WAY before Trump was in the white house. And if you think Trump has any say over the Deep State, then you’ve only been listening to the lies of the Deep State, certainly not Trump or any of his supporters.

And if you think Trump has any say over the Deep State, then you’ve only been listening to the lies of the Deep State, certainly not Trump or any of his supporters.

        • “True journalism” is a fiction perpetrated on the public by the news media. From the beginning, all news has been subjective in nature. Sides are always picked by reporters. The act of choosing what to report is based on a journalists existing preconceptions and prejudice. Blaming it on Trump simply establishes who you are and where you are coming from. And, we all know that B.O. pursued Assange the whole time he was in office.

      5. I am not saying it is impossible, but I think it unlikely. Assange is better in prison and being tortured as a warning to others willing to expose government corruption than he is dead. Of course, anytime you torture, you can to to far, make a mistake and your victim dies.

        • THE LOOSE ENDS GET TIED…PS LOVE ALWAYS..THE CLINTON, OBAMA’S……

          • You are mentally unwell.

        • fdfd

      6. But the USA can grab him for publishing those Hillary mails. He apparently broke US law from thousands of miles away from its borders.

      7. I have mixed feelings as to whether Assange’s conduct is covered under free speech since he conducted indiscriminate info dumps without pre-vetting the information to protect innocent parties, as journalists will.

That said, it’s absolutely unacceptable for him to be treated anything than less than fully humanely, and with all appropriate rights, including access to his lawyers.

The first amendment must never be criminalized, or freedom is fully lost.

      8. The fact that they erased Epstein so visibly in front of the whole world is proof that he was close to the real puppet masters who live in the shadows. Unless someone with great courage and immense conviction to principal releases the evidence from the island, this will be swept under the rug and forgotten. The fact that Julian is still alive means that there’s still some distance. I believe Julian is much smarter than Epstein, and probably has multiple dead man’s switches.

      9. Epstein’s death should spark a examination on how prisons are run. Part of the problem is there such a constant cycle of negative feedback the prisoners are prone to violence. As for Assange most of the complaints are ridiculous. No prisioners are allowed to have a laptop in jail. The phone call and exercise complaints are legitmetate. But we have to remember that he is in a foreign jail.

      10. Orwell once wrote, “if there is hope it must lie in the proles.” Yet reading the comments by the plebs here provides little of that.

The treatment of Assange proves only two things. The first, obviously, is that Julian was correct. The second, that the Trump Administration means Assange harm and therefore has fallen under the same corrupt shroud that once guarded the Clinton Administration.

      11. I used to think that anyone who thought media was government-controlled was a paranoid lunatic. What woke me up was the Trayvon Martin race hoax, where every single media outlet ran photos of 17 year old showing him as an 11 year old, and NOT ONE OF THEM questioned it. What happened to Epstein is a confirmation of my suspicions, and a revelation as to the ruthlessness and reach of those who would rule over us. If Assange dies I won’t believe media narratives for a minute. I hope he has a failsafe (or two) which exposes all of them. I also hope Americans wake up to the threat to their individual rights, which is far more important than the shallow “Epstein was a scumbag and he deserved it” memes. Everyone charged with a crime deserves a fair trial. That’s who we are. It’s why we have a Constitution.

        • The Constitution was suspended by the unlawful Patriot Act. Now you need to wake up to that fact. Glad you finally realized News has always been under CIA/government sanction. FYI, so are movies and television.

      12. Excellent question Mac. Not even sure if he is alive regardless of John Pilger says.

      13. Assange stole PRIVATE emails and published them! Is that right or legal?? What if they were YOUR emails! He is an evil BAD person.
        Next-

        • No. Assange did not steal any emails.

They were “stolen” by someone else who sent them to Assagne.

Same as the Pentagon Papers were stolen and sent to the New York Times to be published.

        • Assange did not steal anything, all he did was publish it!!

      14. You will become a mindless drone of the state, resistance is futile.

      15. Belmarsh? Isn’t that where Tommy Roberson was incarcerated?

      16. Maxwell is likely to be next, or soon.

      17. They got away with Alito, and JFK.

      18. In our representative republic our vote is all we have to voice nay or yea on the issues of the day. People deserve the type of government they elect. It’s clear to me that life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is only possible with the GOP. The Democratic platform is a sick and a mentality ill platform and the sooner people realize that fact the better off the country will be!

      19. Eppy was killed by the deep state. It is unlikely Assange will face the same fate as he is no real threat to them now. If they wanted him dead, he would have been dead a long time ago. They were able to kill Eppy in a maximum security prison, they would have had no trouble snuffing him in the embassy he was hanging out in for years.

As far as sob stories about treatment in prison goes… it isn’t supposed to be a picnic. When you commit crimes you take the risk of going to prison, I have no sympathy for criminals and there are very few innocent people there.

      20. THE GUY DOESN’T CLEAN UP AFTER HIS CRITTERS…A MARXIST IN DISGUISE….

      21. WHO IS WATCHING THE WATCHERS….A GENERATION “Z”…I’M GLAD I’M ON MY WAY OUT…SKIPPING THE RUNNING AND SCREAMING…ALL IN THE FAMILY’S “MEAT HEAD” HAS GRAND CHILDREN…ALL FROM BABY MAMA’S..DADDY’S..THE UNCLE SAMMY SYNDROME..ILLEGAL ALIENS…INCLUDED..

      22. Free Assange!

      23. Try commenting using critical thinking instead of parroting your CIAnn programming.

      24. I am amazed that Assange is still alive. I figured he would go within a week.

      25. i followed the apples and carrots and found dog

      26. The difference between Epstein and Assange is that Assange is smarter. His network is still holding encrypted “vaults” with keys that will be released if he dies (like Epstein) of Arkancide. These vaults are the proverbial Pandora’s Box including HilLIARy’s 30K emails. All hell would break loose. The threat of this happening is the only reason why Assange is still alive. He will only be extinguished if / when the US is fully controlled by the DemoRats as puppets for the globalist agenda, and the exposed underbelly reality no longer matters.

      27. Normals are forever incapable of learning that the new normal is you.

“…people who have not been convicted of anything…”

Have you not been convicted of anything. Who did you think this was talking about.

“…people who have not been convicted of anything…”

        People like you.

Reported a lack of modesty, security, clean drinking water, warm blankets, and basic sanitation.

      28. So how can we help Assange now?

      29. I believe that Trump should work a deal to get Assange over here to tell all he knows, or else he’ll rot and die where he is. We can use his revelations to at least get rid of some of the Deep State perps.

      30. Assaunge is the best PsyOp Russia has invented yet. Waterboard the chap out of him.

      31. Free him! He helped exposed the evil criminal activity that our government was breaking the laws that they created!! If they destroy him it will be a terrible tragedy in American future !

      32. I don’t like what he did but I do fear how he is being treated simply because of what he did. What is to stop them from doing the same to me just because they decide they don’t like my blue eyes

      33. Dead Man’s Switch.

      34. Some uniformed man goes into Epstein’s cell, tells him he is being transferred. The cuffs go on behind the back, then the bedsheet goes around the neck and Epstein is strangled. Time elapsed: < 5 minutes.

      35. Assange will be kept alive as long as he doesn’t enter the US, because he will go straight to a holding cell at MCC, like Epstein. And like Epstein, he will be silenced permanently. If his lawyer is smart, he would declare US incarceration too dangerous for his client and file for amnesty in a British prison.

      36. He represents what our media should aspire to be. God bless and protect him.

      37. This article makes a good case…. but it overlooks a 3rd victim that everyone has forgotten just 6 months after his murder in prison: Whitey Bulger…. a man who held boatloads of info on the FBI. Altho he was conveniently offed in a federal prison, it seems they’re having trouble finding the killer. To date, no one has been charged.

      38. Those who are okay with using any means necessary to crush an opponent (using fake dossiers to obtain fisa warrants, attempting to plant shills in opposition team, colluding with sympathetic press to affect public opinion, using undercover agents to set up scenarios for entrapment of members on opponents team etc) are more likely the ones who want Assange dead. And they’re more likely the ones to make it happen.

      39. US Jails and County Jails especially are inhumane and you have no way to defend yourself against the onslaught unless you can bail out.

      40. Assange is at least as likely to end up Arkancided as Epstein.

      41. Assange is at least as likely as Epstein to wind up Arkancided.

      42. “Senator, we’re both a part of the same hypocrisy, but never think it applies to my family”

      43. Over the years, there’s been more than one high profile prisoner who suddenly is diagnosed with “failing health”. That way, the gullible public isn’t so surprised when the prisoner succumbs to a “natural death” – before trial or interviews.

      44. Epstein is most likely alive and well and in ‘Protective Custody’ because he has a ‘Dead Man’s Switch’ which would release all of his records if he was actually murdered. Check the 8/13/19 Caravan to Midnight web site episode 1169 Track 3 starting at 24. Epstein’s clients would not take a chance of having his records released by murdering him and it is safer to have their press report that he is dead than to have the names of his customers released.
Both Julian Assange and Edward Snowden are International Heroes for blowing the whistle on our corrupt deep state government criminals. They should both be rewarded for disclosing the crimes against the American people.

      45. I heard something interesting the Bernie Sanders said. It sounds like Bernie plans to end whistle blower prosecution. That’s great news for Edward Snowden then isn’t it? If it actually comes true though…
