The only thing that seems to be constant in our society is change, and today America is changing at a pace that is more rapid than we have ever seen before. But is that a good thing or a bad thing? For a moment, I would like for you to imagine what it would be like for a group of average Americans from 1919 to suddenly be transported to our time. How do you think that they would feel about what we have become? Certainly they would be absolutely amazed by our advanced technology, but beyond that they would almost certainly have very strong opinions about the current state of our society. Similarly, if any of us were suddenly transported 100 years into the future, I am sure that we would be completely and utterly shocked by how things had changed. The decisions that we make today are going to echo long into the future, and if we make very bad decisions there might not be a future for our country at all.

The following are 35 mind blowing facts about America that previous generations of Americans never would have believed…

#1 Approximately one-fourth of the entire global prison population is in the United States.

#2 By the time an American child reaches the age of 18, that child will have seen approximately 40,000 murders on television.

#3 The average U.S. adult “logs 6 hours, 43 minutes of total screen time daily”.

#4 Approximately 96 percent of all Americans use the Internet.

#5 According to the American Road and Transportation Builders Association, nearly 56,000 bridges in the United States are currently “structurally deficient”. What makes that number even more chilling is the fact that vehicles cross those bridges a total of 185 million times a day.

#6 In more than half of all U.S. states, the highest paid public employee in the state is a football coach.

#7 The Pentagon has more square footage of office space than any other office building in the entire world.

#8 The state of Alaska is 429 times larger than the state of Rhode Island. But Rhode Island has a significantly larger population than Alaska does.

#9 Alaska has a longer coastline than all of the other 49 U.S. states put together.

#10 The city of Juneau, Alaska is about 3,000 square miles in size. It is actually larger than the entire state of Delaware.

#11 The average age of America’s dams is now 52 years.

#12 The average supermarket in the United States wastes about 3,000 pounds of food each year.

#13 There are more than 75 million dogs in the United States, and that number is constantly growing.

#14 Montana has three times as many cows as it does people.

#15 The grizzly bear is the official state animal of California. But no grizzly bears have been seen in the state since 1922.

#16 The only place in the United States where coffee is grown commercially is in Hawaii.

#17 More than 2 million Americans work for Wal-Mart.

#18 Half of all American workers make less than $30,533 a year.

#19 According to one recent survey, 37 percent of all Americans eat fast food every 24 hours.

#20 One study found that one-third of all American teenagers haven’t read a single book in the past year.

#21 Almost one-third of all Millennials are still living with their parents.

#22 The suicide rate in the United States has risen by 33 percent since 1999.

#23 Women have earned at least 57 percent of all bachelor’s degrees in the United States for 18 years in a row.

#24 If the U.S. health care system was a country, it would have the fifth largest GDP on the entire planet.

#25 America does not have a single airport that is considered to be in the top 25 in the world.

#26 Today, a million Americans are living in their RVs, and that number is rising with each passing year.

#27 More than 100 churches in the United States are dying every single week.

#28 The original name of the city of Atlanta was “Terminus“.

#29 There are three towns in the United States that have the name “Santa Claus“.

#30 There is actually a town in Michigan called “Hell“, and during the recent polar vortex it actually froze over.

#31 Almost one-third of all land in the United States is owned by the federal government.

#32 More than 27 million acres of U.S. farmland is owned by foreigners.

#33 Congestion on our highways costs Americans approximately 101 billion dollars a year in wasted fuel and time.

#34 According to Bloomberg, it is being projected “that by 2025, shortfalls in infrastructure investment will subtract as much as $3.9 trillion from U.S. gross domestic product.”

#35 In 1980, the U.S. national debt had just surpassed the one trillion dollar mark.  In 2019, we are about to surpass the 22 trillion dollar mark with no end in sight.

These days, just about everyone that tries to step forward and shake up the system is slapped with heavy criticism.

But at least they are trying to do something.

Holding an important position does not make you a leader. Rather, being a leader is about having a positive vision for the future and doing whatever you can to achieve that vision.

We have way too many “leaders” out there that are simply filling seats. Our country is literally falling apart at the seams, and all they can think about is protecting their careers.

America desperately needs change, but unfortunately we have very few change agents. So we continue to steamroll toward our date with destiny, and time is not on our side.

      1. A rather lighthearted list.
No mention of loss of freedoms
Of countries the US has invaded and people slaughtered
        Number of abortions
The rapidly expanding policed state, etc…

        • “#1 Approximately one-fourth of the entire global prison population is in the United States.

#2 By the time an American child reaches the age of 18, that child will have seen approximately 40,000 murders on television.”

Anyone besides me see a connection here ??? 🙂

        • BTW, if there WERE any grizzly bears in the People’s Republic of Kalifornia, maybe the politicians would not be so rabid to confiscate guns. Just saying. 🙂

      2. 1. Hell, Michigan has been incorporated since 1841. Which generation of Americans would be shocked by this, exactly?

        2. Average income in America in 1930 was $1,368. Who’s going to be shocked by the under-$35,000 figure?

        3. I could go on like this, but I think this should do to prove this is truly a garbage article.

        • So Steve you are not surprised that today you can’t make it on$35,000 but back in the day you could with $1,386. I am surprised that you stand unaffected in your mind set. I am surprised that you have to pay more than $15 per credit hour! which today is less than half the requirement than when I paid $15 per credit hour in college. And that doesn’t bother you? Today for me to take one credit hour at the University across the street which is a PUBLIC University, I have to pay over $900 per credit hour… But back in the day it was only $15 and we did not have all those extra fees. It doesn’t bother you that I only worked 9.38 hours to pay for one credit in College, and today I would have to work 123 hours for the credit hour today.. and again it does not bother you?

      3. Not only would they not believe it, they wouldn’t understand it.
        Questions would include:
        What’s a Wal-Mart? What’s an internet? What’s a millenial? What’s Alaska? What’s Hawaii?, etc.

      4. It was never like this when I was growing up in the late 1950’s. Alaska or Hawaii didn’t become states until 1959, a great year by the way!

P.S. They didn’t mention Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, right off I-25. Nice little town unlike Roswell, a tourist trap if there ever was one!

      5. “America desperately needs change, but unfortunately we have very few change agents. So we continue to steamroll toward our date with destiny, and time is not on our side.”

Our biggest problem is Democrats. Until we deal with that problem America is doomed.

        • rellik – Agree! Very few good, honest, God-fearing people willing to take action anymore, so the one’s that do get coverage are the radical AOC types, Antifa, and Black “Hebrew Israelites” WTF?!?!?!

Hats off to Covington Catholic boys for standing their ground – at the time!!!!

#27 is a true measure of where the ethics and morality of our Country has slid over the years.

When you’re the richest man in the world (Bozos), and you have more money that multiple generations following you can spend, and you can afford anything on the planet, AND YOU’RE STILL NOT HAPPY, and have to commit adultery, wreck your family, and text pecker pics, then what does that say about our culture and ethos in America?

America will exist as a concept – a territory, not a country, if the slide continues…

        • Radicals usually get their way in the end.

      6. JP and Rellik, I’m not sure if this country can be saved now even with the libturd problem solved once and for all. This article is one of Snyder’s best yet. He really hit the nail on this one. “The more things change, the more they stay the same.”

        • DR, the ONLY way to save the country we knew and loved is to get divorced from the Communists that masquerade as democrats. There can be no reconciliation because they believe in no borders and World Governance and we believe in borders and the Constitution.

          We have 3 options:

          1. Either we or they are subjugated under the rule of the other.

          2. A Civil War where one side is soundly defeated (e.g. the South in the American Civil War I).

          3. Divorce and divide the country peacefully. They get to live how they want to live and we get to live how we want. The Democraps believe in DIVORCE don’t they!?!?

NO MORE Democrat and Republican shell game. The ONLY thing we must demand is DIVORCE! WE MUST START A 3RD PARTY AND DIVORCE IS THE SOLE ISSUE!

          • get divorced from the Communists that masquerade as democrats.

I was thinking of becoming one.

IF they are going to be in charge, which it seems they will be, I might as well be part of the ruling class.

Everybody is equal, but some are more equal than others.

            • JS,
You have just perfectly described Hawaii Democrats. We are a single party state with a lot of DINO’s.

      7. In January 1990, if you made $15,496 per year, the equivalent amount in December 2018 would be about $30,533.

That is insane. People in rural Western Kentucky as janitors at a factory made $30,000 in 1990. That was a very common wage in the larger cities of Western Kentucky as well as in Southern Indiana. You could have a high education or a GED and be making twice what 50% of Americans earn today.

The SHTF but you fail to realize it. And meanwhile the Luciferians are everywhere.

We are well underway for the last 18 years.

I really don’t see how some clueless urbanite with zero ancestral skills is going to make it. And if they are nonbelievers aa well, they are utterly LOST.

I guess they will just wander on foot until they collapse due to exposure, dehydration, and starvation.

I did my part to teach others. Why didn’t you?

        • In 1982, a common job as an entry level lab technicain, doing cookbook chemistry ie just like following the directions in a recipe, could easily earn $15,600. Those folks got healthcare, 2 weeks of vacation, profit sharing, and limited tuition reimbursement.

The equivalent salary alone (not benefits) would be $41,561 in December 2018.

Allone needed was a high school education with a math and science background as they liked to promote from within and recruited candidates who slowly would acquire a BS in Chemistry. And those folks had a guaranteed path to lab assistant, team leader, on up into low level management.

Factories often had lab technicians to do quality control and assurance.

          • Started at DuPont in 1976 @ $5.66 / hr + great benefits. Started at the Oil Refinery in 1979 8.50 / hr likewise same benefits. Same story and numbers, different location.

            • I’m generally quite impressed with the breadth of knowledge you have on several subjects. You seem very well rounded including general world and American history and specific military history too.

We previously disagreed on some topics while we have argued when having very identical viewpoints too…which is very amusing.

I enjoy reading your posts as you are a good communicator as well. You would make a heck of an ally if the SHTF.

              rellik is that way too.

              • Sounds like a bromance.

                • You forgot the “no homo” caveat… Luciferian.

              • Maranatha

I’m honored.I learn from many on the BB, you included. Read encyclopedias as a kid, stuttered pretty bad, learning by reading was my escape, my communication. Stuttering stopped and I haven’t shut up since.

“You would make a heck of an ally if the SHTF.”

Not really. At that point it’s not knowledge its action. I’m a decent shot but don’t have a killer instinct. Gave up hunting decades ago. I know how things work but I’m not great at fixing them. Refinery skills were operations not maintenance. Too old (over 60) and too unhealthy (couple of heart attacks) to be of any real good. Have a good friend that is like McGiver except a great shot too; skilled hunter, mechanic including diesel, certified welder, electrician, 2+ yrs college in engineering and well read. He is the man to have when TSHTF. I just educate the masses as much as possible to the potential and current problems.

Only thing upsets me on this BB is the crazy calls for violence and hatred.

      8. 1919: % of white Americans = 95%

        2019: % of white Americans = >60

        .

Most alarming to me is the millions of acres of farmland owned by foreigners. I assume these foreigners live outside the USA, otherwise they would just be called “American”.

My guess is that the most shocking thing someone from 1919 would be: (beside interacial couples) nudity, vulgarity, sexual indecency, and generally disrespectful behavior and utter loss of civility.

        .

        • Also alarming, the millions of acres of farmland that is now suburbia, golf courses, industrial parks, shopping malls, etc. Another statistic, over 20,000 miles of railroad track has been either abandoned or pulled up since 1970, the year the Penn Central went bankrupt.

        • @ Honeypot,

Due to various social-engineering and political projects official figures are skewed / manipulated to always show white being the (privliged) majority.

Unofficial figures, ie those that consider illegal immigration (and exclude any groups not of ‘only’ White European ancestry), show that less than 50% of the US population is actually White.

Many very good studies have now confirmed that the minority population in the United States (and in certain European Countries such as the UK, with Germany and France close behind) is actually WHITE.

Indeed, White is the GLOBAL MINORITY race – there are c.7Billion people on the planet of which less than 1Billion are white.

It is estimated that in less than 30 years any white populations outside of the US, Europe, and Australia (ie white populations living in South Africa, Middle East, Asia, South America, etc) will be EXTINCT. In some places such as the mddle-east and asia this is almost complete, with South Africa close behind.

Elsewhere the white race will be the minority – by far – especially if uncontrolled migration into Europe and the United States is allowed to continue.

Some people may not miss the white race, some people may not care, but it is not racist to point this out and get white people to recognise they are already the global minority.

        • I haven’t seen the latest numbers, but I’m sure we in the US have over 400 million acres of land designated as “cropland” and we are only using about 75 – 80% of it.

We probably have about 100 million acres of the 400 that we are raising forage crops on to feed animals.

The Furriners own less than 10% of it.

Further, we have another 400 million acres of pasture. plains, and range land some of which could be pressed into service as “cropland.”

The fact is we are raising our food on what we could call #1 Land.

If needed, we have multiplied millions of acres that we could raise food on, but the penalty for this shift to less productive land would be higher food prices NOT lack of production.

Exhibit “A” is right here in GA.

I raise good quality fruits and vegetables on amended pasture soil whose base is Georgia Red Clay.

If we North Georgians had to feed ourselves based on what we could grow and animals we could raise, we would have to work hard, but likely make a go of it.

South Georgia has some wonderful dirt and would do even better.

There are other States that have much better #2 (or lower) Land than GA that nobody is using for agriculture right now.

Again, we are so incredibly blessed in the US with productive soil that we are just using the best of the best to grow our food.

          <bb

          • I hate driving through Atlanta.

            • You and the better part of 7 million Georgians…

There at least two worlds in GA…ITP and OTP:

ITP – Inside the Perimeter (that’d be I-285 that encircles Atlanta)

              and

              OTP – self explanatory.

Many Georgians who live OTP only venture ITP for issues of God, Government, Business, or Family – NOT for entertainment.

              <bb

          • Y’all have some absolutely lovely Southern ladies and we all know the renown beauty of a Georgia Peach.Just the way they talk is enchanting.

But y’all’s soil must be miserable to work. It’s like growing in pottery shards. I imagine it’s backbreaking. Dixiecrats turned Republicans have backbone.

            • 7URqNcgqlsA
Miss Georgia sings about Jesus in church…and starts to cry. Her feelings are genuine.

Not only are the ladies of Georgia beauties, but they typically are devout Christians. In the old days (sixties and seventies), everybody watched the Miss America pagent, and whoever was Miss Georgia was a knockout.

Y’all are very lucky to live in Georgia.

      9. Another point is that the US has gone from being one of the most Loved nations on Earth, to arguably the most Hated.

      10. When the architectural plans for the Pentagon were drawn up, they included a tall office building where the central court is today. The renovation is underway and the concrete is special concrete that can stand up to serious abuse. The section that bin Laden’s airplane flew into was the section that had just been renovated. Otherwise, the damage would have been far worse. If the theory of the Grand Solar Minimum is correct, those ancient dams and bridges will collapse over the next couple of years.

      11. Several factors are leading us to destruction.

        1) Way too many people
        2) Way too many unintelligent people on the government tit
3 We have turned away from God
        4) We have turned our backs on our founders
        5) Loss of morality
        6) We have too many people who think America is bad
        7) We have too many liberal globalist

It is just a matter of time – It will not be just the USA but the whole world.
The straw could be many many things.

        • 3 We have turned away from God

That should be #1 on the list.

      12. Bulldozing shopping malls is a great first start.

A couple of years ago, they started revamping some railroads because such a vast amount can be hauled that way versus trucking.

        htt ps://itstillruns.com/comparison-between-trucks-trains-barges-6307489.html

        ” Dry Van Trailer
Semitrailers, referred to in the trucking industry as “dry vans,” have a maximum length of 53 feet. Dry vans of this size are permitted to operate on most highways without special Department of Transportation permits. With a maximum carrying capacity of approximately 26 tons, a dry van can carry roughly 910 bushels of corn, or 52,000 pounds. The advantage enjoyed by the semitrailer and the truck-tractor hauling it is that they are capable of traveling practically anywhere.

        Rail Cars
Freight such as shelled corn might be transported in either jumbo hopper cars or freight cars, also called box cars. A jumbo hopper car can carry about 100 tons of cargo, or 3,500 bushels, which equates to roughly 200,000 pounds. A 125-ton freight car can carry 125 tons, or about 4,450 bushels, which equals about 250,000 pounds. The train is capable of traveling at higher speeds, and a truck must wait at a crossing, while the train always has the right of way.

        Barges
A standard-size barge operating on the Mississippi River has a cargo capacity of 1,500 tons, or 52,500 bushels, which works out to a colossal 3 million pounds. While the barge carries as much as 15 jumbo hopper cars, floods or periods of low water may limit when or where it can operate. Barges are normally tied together into 15 barge “tows.”

        Barges vs. Trucks
The 15-barge tow has a total cargo capacity of 22,500 tons, or 787,000 bushels. It would require a fleet of 870 53-foot dry vans to haul the same quantity of freight. But the barge is captive to the river, whereas the truck can travel virtually anywhere

        Barges vs. Trains
In comparing the 15-barge tow to the jumbo hopper car, you would need 225 of them to carry the equivalent amount of cargo. But like the dry van trailer, the advantage the train enjoys is access to more locations along with fewer environmental limitations. This comparison clearly demonstrates why all three elements of surface transportation infrastructure must work in concert.”

        • As late as 2005 or so, local guys were still trying to get hired at the railroads. For years I encouraged young guys who had no plans to consider working on a river barge.

They went to husband and wife trucking teams and many without children tried it.

If anybody needs work, the school systems are always looking for bus drivers and it pays a decent wage for part time.

          • As late as 2018 the Norfolk&Southern Railroad had a hiring session in Decatur Ill offering a starting wage of 52 thousand dollars and no one showed up. Young people won’t work on weekends and irregular hours. The Welfare State is here to stay. Trekker Out

            • MT,
That is hard to believe. Nobody showed up? That is $25 per hour to start.

              • “That’s $25 per hour to start”
Not exactly; Don’t be mislead by slick ad copy..They don’t base that salary off a 40 hour work week. I have family members working railroad jobs and they’re on call 24/7 and typically work 17-21 days on and get 3-4 days off,but they’re always on call even on days off.The average work day is 12-14 hours, and it can be brute labor. The biggest reasons why railroad jobs and OTR trucking jobs are always at high demand is because of the long hours, and time away from family.Railroad workers usually drive to the work site, and sometimes that means several states away..Don’t be mislead by slick ad copy. The trucking industry is full of dispatchers that will tell inexperienced drivers EXACTLY what they want to hear, but as soon as that rookie driver gets out on the road they know they’ve been fed a line of BS..

            • “Young people won’t work on weekends and irregular hours.”

How times (or people) have changed. The Oil Refinery was a coveted job. Rotating shift work, weekends and holidays were just another day. Worked many a Christmas and was ecstatic to have such a job (which was interesting too).

What something to ponder? The youth will be paying our Social Security. Sleep tight.

              • Want not what

                • Craftsmen worked during summer shutdown when everyone else was on vacation. And they often worked second shift 12 hours, then double backed by being called in. There were times I routinely got only four hours off. Rotated shifts, worked insane hours.

Young people are spoiled. They expect a lot but don’t want to pay for it.

They probably expect soldiers work 40 hour work weeks too.

        • ht tps://www.dallasnews.com/business/business/2018/01/30/union-pacific-spend-550-million-massive-newrail-yard-texas

Crazy Ocasio-Cortez wants to ban cars and ban airplanes and go to an all rail model. She also wants to tear down all buildings in America and build all new ones. Ain’t she something?

        • “Bulldozing shopping malls is a great first start.”

I’m surprised that some of the abandoned shopping malls under roof haven’t been converted to upscale apartments / condos / townhouses. They could make an enclosed community; a dream for the progressives. Solar on the roof, green space in the atrium. A few stores, grocery store, Dr / Dentist, satellite police station, plenty of parking, maybe an organic greenhouse too. The buildings are close to major transportation and often built like a damn bunker.

          I dislike wasted anything.

          • A brilliant grantwriter could likely get funded to transform a stripmall into a urban homesteading project deminstrating various frugal ways to produce food, superinsulate it, put various solar and wind energy on it, create an apiary, etc.

Think outside the box. People have been doing urban homesteading since the llate seventies. There actually are guerilla gardeners who go into a place plagued by urban blight and plant a garden without permission.

        • I have read that old shopping malls would be great buildings for the homeless. They are already surrounded by parking lots, have toilet facilities, food courts, could have shower areas etc. etc. Could have areas for job training, child care, actual jobs right there.

      13. Maranatha, Ocasio-Cortez sounds like Chicken Little on steroids. Her so-called “Green New Deal” would send our economy straight over the cliff. She wants to ban all fossil fuels and change us over to solar and wind. Solar is OK for a backup source since we have one at the BOL but it can never work for a primary source. The sun doesn’t shine every day and the wind doesn’t blow every day. No way that jezebel will have either mine or my family’s homes torn down. With her mindset she would fit right into either Cuba or Venezuela.

        • DR,
I’m going to go off grid solar this year or next.
          I’ll keep my grid connection
          but won’t be using it.
My electricity here is $0.38 per kWh
and will be going up in 2019,
so I can justify the expense of a solar system.
It will take about 8 years to break even,
I designed, bought, and am in the process
of installing my system. Most people cannot do that
and have to hire someone to do it for them
          which dramatically increases costs.
Some of my neighbors have Grid tied systems.
The last power interruption we had, on a sunny day,
they lost power, because their systems are NOT
designed to operate independent of the Grid.
My design allows for solar to be the primary
source of power. The most expensive part of the
system will be the Forklift batteries
          ( Commentor; Genius’s suggestion, Thanks!)
I live in rural Hawaii with plenty of sunshine,
solar water heater, gravity fed AG water system,
rain catchment, cesspool sanitation, et al.
There is no way you do could solar and wind for
300 million Americans living in cities
          with today’s technology.

          • relik, Glad you liked my suggestion. I would do the same thing except I have transport/ positioning issues. I have another suggestion for you! For hot water you can take a few panels and wire them directly to the element of an electric water heater. There is a company (I forget the name) that makes thermostats that stick to the side of the tank and control the heat. Usually you have the solar element on the bottom of the tank and grid powered element on the top for backup. I used to install the glycol circulating solar water systems and this is hundreds of times cheaper and more efficient. No plumbing, no glycol, no freezing, no hassle at all! 2- 250 watt panels will heat a normal households water during the day with normal sun. Add more if you need say 1000 watts of panels and a huge tank. You can also keep livestock water tanks from freezing (like you need that) with a 250 watt and an electric element. Just an FYI and it is seperate from your house array.

            • Have had solar water heater for last 18 years. Works great. circulates tank water through panels on the roof. It is mandatory here on all new houses.

38 cents a KWH, that has to be the highest I’ve ever heard of. Hawaii must be ground zero for wind and solar. A $500 month bill is likely the norm with $1000 quite common. One would think that there is some geothermal potential. I had read in Power Magazine that distillate (#2 oil) was used in GTGs to generate power there. Propane may be a main fuel too.

                • K2
My bill for two houses and 60X40 shop is under $500. No heat, or A/C and hot water is solar and propane.
High prices are purely due to politics of Democrats.
Due to Hawaiian religion Geothermal is virtually impossible. You’d have to live here to understand that insanity.
Most power is generated on #2 by HELCO, but a local plant also runs DC-10 jet engine turbines on Naptha?
There is some wind here, but very limited. It kills a lot of precious “Hawaiian” birds and locals shoot out the irritating marker lights.
Solar is really pricey because of contractors, ripoff mainland shipping costs, and US government policy. I could give you a 5 or 6 page paper on how to beat the system, but it isn’t pretty, cheap, or completely legal.

                  Take care of your ticker.

                  • rellik

You cost is in the very expensive fuel. I ran some numbers of BTUs per $. #2 at $1.50 gallon (likely cost at your location – tax) is 850 BTUs per $. Natural gas is 35 cents per therm (100,000) BTUs for 2857 BTUs per $. The relative cost for oil is 3.3 x natural gas. You’re paying roughly 3.3 x in KW. It’s relative. The democrats may be holding back GeoThermal and Wind but as it stands it’s your fuel cost.

                    • So no one is confused the above is BTUs per penny.

Gas Turbine combined cycle plants have broke the magic 50% thermal efficiency. Generally they’re in the mid / high 30s. Peaking units exhausting the heat to atmosphere from the GTG are 20% or thereabouts. They’re the cheapest cost of installed generation abet the least efficient. I suspect your grid has quite a few to meet peak mid day demand.

      14. The problem is not dems or reps, it is anyone in DC. They are bought and paid for and care nothing for those in the states they are supposed to represent.

      15. #36– The US is the fastest country in the world!

      16. Allow the invasion to continue and soon there will be no America to complain about evermore.

      17. “Mindblowing”? You dipshits have bad taste in headlines.

      18. Bert, you just drove that nail straight and deep. #27-“The great falling away”. #13-Was it Roosevelt who said, “If you want a friend in Washington DC, best find yourself a dog”.

      19. #1 Approximately one-fourth of the entire global prison population is in the United States.

The other three-fourths are in the migrant caravan heading to the border.

      20. #2 By the time an American child reaches the age of 18, that child will have seen approximately 40,000 murders on television.

We had the same in my generation, it was just limited to three channels.

I am more concerned about all the lesbian propaganda being crammed down our throats.

      21. #3 The average U.S. adult “logs 6 hours, 43 minutes of total screen time daily”.

I only need about 15 minutes, those other people must have a lot of endurance!!!!!!

      22. #15 The grizzly bear is the official state animal of California. But no grizzly bears have been seen in the state since 1922.

They too could not stand the liberalism.

      23. #23 Women have earned at least 57 percent of all bachelor’s degrees in the United States for 18 years in a row.

I saw a statistic that 7 out of every 10 college students is a girl.

I don’t know if that is true, but if i was college age, i would be having a lot of fun.

        • 🙂 No, Friend, you would NOT want to date most of them. They are heretics, Luciferians, scum, bulldykes, feminists, and often so much sin makes them nit only ugly…but repulsve.

Now if it were 1970, the opposite would be true.

          • Mara,
Trick is to attend the right schools.
The University I graduated from(Class of 90)required chapel attendance for everyone on Wednesdays and Church on Sundays. They took names.
The University I attended prior to that one, required attendance at Mass, and they took names.
I was excused as I was a “commuter” student and did not live on campus or in University provided housing.
Lots of good looking women! I was married, with a kid, and working full time, so I had to pass on the dating scene.
You are describing places like UCLA, UC Santa Cruz, U of WA
            (U-Dub), Evergreen state, et al.

          • You forgot a category–VEGANS! Otherwise, spot on.

      24. #26 Today, a million Americans are living in their RVs, and that number is rising with each passing year.

I have noticed that cheap RV parks are popping up all our my area. Like $300 a month RV parks. Not crappy homeless people RV parks either, but nice looking ones with basic hook-ups.

There are a LOT of RV youtube channels too. Lots of people living in their RVs and surviving on their $1200 a month social security checks.

        • JS,
My grandmother lived in Bullhead city AZ.
I once visited her there and saw many many RV’s were parked on the AZ side. The little old ladies and husbands would walk or wheel chair, across the bridge to Laughlin, NV to gamble, eat at the Buffet, and get free drinks while
          dumping money in the slots.
Better than freezing in mid west winter weather in 1996.

      25. These days, just about everyone that tries to step forward and shake up the system is slapped with heavy criticism.

There is no more “agree to disagree”. Now it is hate and character assassination. If you say something Democrats don’t like, you get fired from your job, painted as a racist, then some dipshit accuses you of a sexual assault when you were 5 years old – and they MUST be believed. (unless you are a Democrat from Virginia.)

        • Youtube is considering remving the dislike button as so many millennials complain it hurts their feelings.

Boo hoo. Such weakness. It is pathetic.

What would they do if facing the enemy.

“These people hate us…I can’t stand it.”

      26. Neither is destiny ! Practice, practice, practice!

      27. We have obvious trolls, but there are professional socks that plan disinfo on sites like this to sway opinion and perform disinformation. They actually develop a whole profile and have a script that they stick to, then move on to other place. Rinse repeat.

Then the DNC during the presidential election hired a troll army to bolster Hillary’s ratings. Again, they use a script, sow disinfo for a brief time, then move on.

The French invented agent provocateurs who blend into protestors and incite violence as then the rules of engagement change, and so they can then LEOs use violent techniques and kettle the protestors.

It’s theoretically possible either for a government sock or a troll army might use socks to call for violence.

There’s thinkers, planners, and shooters. I always speak of tribes because after the SHTF, a lone family is hardly a threat as they will be overrun quite easily. After a collapse, like minded people will form tribes. That’s history.

And so the smart people form tribes, and typically young people don’t know enough ancestral skills, tactics, various strategies for coping, to form a tribe.

But several of you would. Don’t sell yourself short.

From the Bible, it’s Jesus and Michael and the angels who win the battle, not Christians. The Bible discusses us being mass persecuted, and then when the Antichrist is revealed, and the Abomination of Desolation is revealed, THEN the Rapture happens. And after our departure, the YAHWEH’s Wrath is poured out as the Luciferians had persecuted the children of GOD.

      28. When the SHTF, one of the ways you can cope is by making kerosene. When you heat up coal or some shale in a reactor, it sweats kerosene. That can be collected. The first kerosene lanterns were invented in the 9th century in the Middle East. It’s not perfect but it works.

Oil lamps do not produce the candela or lumens that a kerosene lantern produces. You could extract canola oil from rapeseed, or in some places grow sesame. Other than this, historically you can use olives but not in most of the USA. There’s a possibility of using walnuts but what a waste of resources plus the labor makes it foolish.

Plastics are long chain hydrocarbons. You can put plastic in a reactor and heat it very hot, and the fumes go through a condensor, and that can be transformed into usable fuel. That’s well established. Lots of survivors would try that. The problem is temperature regulation for heating the reactor.

Since fuel will go bad from water vapor, if you run it through a chamois, that will wick up the water.

But eventually, you could take grease from a grease pit (found at lots of restaurants) and turn that ito biodiesel, which some people already do. There are crude ways you could do a one time refuel of a vehicle that would help you bug out, but ruin a vehicle in the process, so it would help you get 100-150 miles away…at least. Rinse repeat and maybe you are in safe zone.

        • How to make emergency fuel. It wouldn’t be pure. It seperates into two layers and requires methanol. You could siphon it off, put it in the empty tank of an abandoned car, and drive it far enough to get out of Dodge.

          ht tps://www.doomsdaymoose.com/survival-skills-make-emergency-fuel/#.VSaQSPnF95d

Say you are bugging out, and holing up along the way, you’d make some to get you going, and rinse repeat until you got to your destination.

Very few people know how to do that.

You can also acquire emergency fuel at auto parts stores, but few people would realize that and they would just quit looking as the gas stationed emptied, but you being equipped with this knowledge could harvest or trade for some.

If bugging in, you could keep your tractor and generator going by more refined methods. It’s not that complicated and why it’s often a science project or a low level high school engineering/chemistry project.

      29. From all of the above, it sounds like America is about to get a really bad wake up call. Too many people are living in the past.

      30. The American people are too preoccupied with their daily lives and are lied to by mainstream media. If past generations of Americans saw what is going on, they wouldn’t understand some of it. What they would understand and tell us is that the status quo is unsustainable.

      31. Christopher Walken was in a movie, “Blast From The Past”. It showed the changes from 1962 to the mid 1990s. You could almost do another movie like that with plenty of material from the mid 1990s to present. If one looks at that slope of social / economic decay it begs a question: Where will we be in 2050?

        Sleep well on that.

      32. There are several manufacturers of emergency fuel and one is Magic Tank. It’s safe to store, and a smart scrounger after the SHTF would gather it up as harvesting from a gas tank would be unlikely as the fuel would most likely be commandeered, and even IF you could get it, you need non-sparking brass fittings and special spark arrestors or BOOM.
