We Are Being Poisoned: Leaked FDA Report Finds “Forever Chemicals” in U.S. Food Supply

In a leaked report that we are guessing the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) didn’t want to get out, is data showing that there are “forever chemicals” in meat, poultry, milk, and chocolate cake. The toxic carcinogenic chemicals are called “forever chemicals” because of the time they take to break down.

PFAS (perfluoroalky and polyfluoroalkyl substances) include chemicals known as PFOS, PFOA, and GenX. They are all synthetic and all contain fluorine and carbon bonds that are extremely difficult, if not impossible, for the human body to break down. PFAS are often referred to as “forever chemicals” because it takes them “forever” to finally break down. “It would take approximately 1.5 years to eliminate PFOS from the cow after a 30-day exposure period,” the study noted, using an abbreviation for another form of PFAS.

PFAS chemicals have been known to be toxic and cancer-causing, and they are in our food supply.  The FDA now plans to release the report after it was leaked in its entirety to The Hill and several other media outlets, however, it is clear the government agency didn’t want this information released.

The FDA has also confirmed the finding of the leaked report: we are being poisoned by toxic and carcinogenic chemicals found in our food.  “I’m not sure why they released it there and not in the U.S., but I’m just glad it’s out,” said Tom Neltner, chemicals policy director with the Environmental Defense Fund, one of the groups that released the information, according to The Hill.

The FDA’s research showed that water contaminated with PFAS likely ends up in the food supply. Fourteen of 91 samples taken by the agency contained the chemicals, while almost half of all meat and seafood samples tested positive.

PFAS has been found in the water supply near military bases, airports that often use firefighting foam and factories that manufacture products with PFAS. –The Hill

This is just one more puzzle piece to the food crisis we are experiencing on this planet. Food costs are rising, less food is available, and what is left is full of “forever chemicals.”  And they call us crazy for growing our own food…

The study said that even when food sources tested positive, they were “not likely to be a safety concern.” But Neltner said that is probably not the truth. PFAS have been linked to thyroid disease, liver damage, and cancer as well as high cholesterol, according to CNN.  “They just assume all these are one-off isolated incidents, but there’s cumulative exposure here that has to be considered,” he said.

Scott Faber, senior vice president for government affairs for the Environmental Working Group, which also released the study, said it was wrong for the FDA to hold back findings that contribute to a growing body of evidence tying PFAS exposure to food, according to The Hill.Clearly people are not going to stop eating chocolate cake with icing, but they have the right to know that high levels of PFAS are being found in everyday foods, and that’s why it’s so troubling that Americans had to go all the way to Helsinki to know what scientists have known for many years,” he said.

These chemicals can easily migrate into the air, dust, food, soil, and water and can accumulate in the body. A study from 2007 by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimated that PFAS chemicals could be detected in the blood of 98% of the U.S. population.

A bulk of PFAS chemicals come from the packaging used on our food, such as meat wrappers, fast food containers. Eliminating this packaging by growing your own food is a start. Consider using seeds sourced through American farmers who pledge to never, ever use GMO crops, like those in the Garden in a Can

      1. You are just know figuring this out? They have been poisoning us for years, it is a thing called thinning out the population. We use to have wars to do that, but as you can see it has been a long time since WW2 and the civil war. But you can’t say those in power hasn’t tried to have the big WW3! lol! Sugar is one of the biggest poison in the food chain today. What it does to the human body is something else, and no I am not talking about making one fat, never the less that is a big problem as well. You want to know what is in your food? Grow Your own, raise your own livestock would be a start. But sadly there is so much poison in our water and lands, that even that hinders the cure for it all. Man, and women a like is our own worst enemy. We too have helped in destroying mother earth! and the live thereof, but none like ole Uncle Sam! Sad is it not?

        • One of the things that has always astounded me is how the FDA relies on the “studies” done by the companies manufacturing these chemicals and drugs when reviewing a chemical’s or drug’s “safety” for human consumption.

Glyphosphate (Roundup) being a typical example. Glyphosphate has been found in every food product that has any connection to grain, except organic grain.

Monsanto insists that it is safe for human consumption. Notably a jury recently found that they lied.

Here, have a glass of glyphosphate.

          Sugar? Least of our worries.

          • The FDA reports what ever those Companies wants them to, all it takes is a big wad of Franklin’s, stuffed safely in the FDA’s pocket and wallah, the chemical is safe. LOL!

            • FDA employees are in revolving door with Industry. Back n forth littered with Massive Fraud. Most Government Officials need to be arrested, and these in the FDA for TREASON for this kind of Food Poisoning of the American Public.

Russia does not let any GMO’s into Russia’s food supply. Gee… a leader who looks out for his people health.. Thus reduces medical costs. Who wudda thunk it.

        • Ummmm…they’re apparently not being too successful. I only see the population (of Browns, anyway) exploding. Mebbe browns don’t like chocolate cake with frosting ?‍♂️

      2. Are the chemicals in the food chain for nefarious purpose or profit? The life expectancy continues to rise. Lifestyle is the single greatest contributor to longevity or early demise. Tobacco, excess alcohol, lack of exercise and its companion obesity takes far greater toll than frankin food.

        • Kevin, it is a proven fact that the fruits and Vegs. do last longer then they once did, by use of these chemicals, but sadly those that eat them, well! they do not!

        • Well said K2!

          • Dem hogs ???

        • K2,
          You nailed it!
Genetics aside, life style has a major impact on life expectancy.
Food even “contaminated food” is far better than no food.
I seriously doubt I will have a longer lifespan than most my family some of whom smoked like chimneys, drank like fish,
only did moderate exercise, ate whatever they wanted,
owned guns, and lived well into their 80’s and 90’s.
I really doubt the biggest fear in their lives were PFAS.
I’m going to go have a beer and spray some roundup on my Solar panel area.
          Aloha.

        • Agree, K2. While it’s just plain smart to grow/raise your own food, I’ve honestly got a lot more important things to worry about than trace amounts of PFOC’s in my chocolate cake ?

Quoted from CNN as well….LOL. It wouldn’t be on Fake News Network unless it’d been OK’d by the satanic globalist Powers That Be.

      3. Raising chickens is easy and fun. It is good for children to have pets, take care of them, clean up after them, and reap the rewards; in this case, fresh eggs and wholesome healthy poultry.

You can build a shed made of wood or buy one ready made.

If you put a fence around the shed, it will keep the birds confined. But chickens roaming free is not too big of a problem, because at dusk they start coming back to the shed of their own accord.

Birds fly and chickens fly, but not that good. They usually just walk from place to place, foraging on plants and insects.

        .

        • HP,
I’ve raised chickens for most my life as has my wife.
I have only 14 chickens right now.
They have a really nice coop, I made from recycled materials, 6 galvanized steel nests and a fenced paddock, so they are kinda sorta free range.
Nothing about chickens is easy or fun.
You have to fight with roosters, hens get everywhere you don’t want them to be, they hide the eggs in the weirdest places, and they shit all over the place. It took me half a day to get the Banny out of my shop as she has not figured out the new nests and coop just yet and took a liking to my workbenches..
But Chickens are a non-stop source of food, if you spend the time and effort.
We try to make all this SHTF stuff sound glamorous but it is really a pain in the a$$.

      4. A friend of mine who is a retired PHD DuPont Chemist told me that there was serious concern about 1970 regarding food, specifically grain production. The major chemical companies then got into botany and the yields of wheat increased dramatically (I believe in many cases tippled if I remember correctly). I’m sure the wheat classifies as “frankin food” but it sure beats the alternative. On the flip side a woman I know grew up in Belarus coming to the US about a 12 or so years ago. She said food is so plentiful and affordable here (when the USSR crashed she ate beets and potatoes for a year). She also said that our chicken doesn’t taste like chicken, our ice cream likewise and many others.

        • K2,
Agreed on the Chicken. Store bought chicken is really bland.
Factory turkey is not nearly as good as wild turkey, and grass fed beef is far better than the crap you get at a major supermarket.
However what is not said is wild turkey is like eating tasty leather, grass fed beef is tough, as is free range chicken.
Thankfully I have crock-pots, I grow Papaya, and Pineapple. So this toughness is not as much as a problem for me, as it is for somebody in say, Iowa.

      5. I just read a story about a family that was killed, very swiftly by inhaling the particulates from rotten potatoes in a closed in basement. Being potatoes are a staple and are known to be kept in such an environment I thought it useful to pass on.

      6. If you had any tastebuds or braincells left, and you ate a plant or animal that was grown in it’s plainest, most-natural medium, you wonder where in the hell it came from.

Our living space is extended far beyond it’s biological carrying capacity, considering that every calorie you eat requires a minimum amount of acreage.

      7. There are snobby, indie, artsy coffee, chocolate, beers, smoke, icecream, sodas, bbq sauce, hotsauce, and these are gray or blackmarket, without any of the forever ingredients. We have people mushing tortillas between two boards.

What amounts to poisons was sold legitimately, and the establishment is telling you so, right here.
