    stockmarketcrash

Market analyst Lynette Zang predicts in the next market meltdown, “real estate, stocks, and bonds will all crash.” When asked when this will happen, Zang says, “Enjoy your Christmas,” but in 2018, all bets are off.

Greg Hunter interviewed Lynette Zang, Chief Market Strategist at ITMtrading.com, and her assessment of the 2018 economy is dire.  Zang predicts, “In 2018, I don’t think they can hold these things together. I think we will see a major market correction in 2018. When that happens, that will cause the derivative implosion. We have to feel a lot of pain. . . . I think we are going to go into hyperinflation, and I think we will start to see that in 2018 because I think we will see these markets implode. I think we will see QE4 (money printing) for sure. . . . We have QE right now propping it up, according to the Fed’s own documents.”

Zang says ever since the 2008 meltdown, the elite have just been buying time to set up a debt reset.

“I am 100% certain we are in the middle of a money standard shift.  Ultimately, they need the markets to implode. . . . In 2008, the debt based system broke.  It died, it was done.  The central banks, globally, put it on life support, and they have to create a new system.  In my opinion, they want us cashless, and they want everything in digital form.  They want to dematerialize wealth at least for the masses.  I am 100% certain that this Bitcoin craze, and all of this, is about getting people used to digital currencies.  So, when they shift us from the debt based system to the digital system, we are more comfortable with it and more familiar with it.”

But this crash is still going to be painful for most because the central banks won’t simply give up their power.

“They are not going to give up their power just like that.  We’ve had a great run, and now it’s your turn.  Hey, population, yes, we’ve taken 96% of your wealth, but here we’re going to let you have this piece.  It doesn’t work like that.  The system doesn’t work like that.”

You can prepare for the coming market crash, but most don’t even know it’s on the way. But preparing should include purchasing physical gold and silver to “hold your wealth.”

“After you have a major implosion, all confidence is lost.  What if we have a grid implosion?  You won’t have access to your Bitcoin.  You are going to need barterable silver, and you are going to need physical gold.  You can always convert real tangible money into any good, service or any other currency.  The true value of gold, if they did the reset today, is north of $9,500 per ounce.  That is a very conservative number.  Before the reset happens, the higher the debt amount and the higher the derivatives amount, the higher that gold price goes.”

Most experts and history tend to agree that precious metals are the best way to protect yourself against the coming market crash.

      1. sucking POP!

        • Cashless system? isn’t that what I have now?

I have no cash, so I must be living in a cashless system 🙂

          • Thats funny, i was just thinking the same thing,,,,
            We have a head start!

            • You can use “bulletcoin” 😉

              • haha bulletcoin that is a good one?

          • Perfect answer JS. Perfect answer. Look at the brighside! Guys like you and me ain’t got as far to fall when it all comes tumbling down. I reckon not much worse than stumbling over the cat @ 3 a.m. going towards the head is all it’ll be.

        • SUBURBAN SPRAWL AND THE ASSOCIATED ENVIRONMENTAL DESTRUCTION AND WASTEFULNESS ARE A FUNCTION OF WHITE FLIGHT

          • Notice how you used the word “sprawl” for extra vilification of the rational dynamic of peaceful people (Caucasians) having the audacity to protect themselves from the policies of nutty white liberals and their pets (black savages)

        • “In my opinion, they want us cashless, and they want everything in digital form.”

Yes, but not yet. I have been telling this community for years that a cashless society comes with quantum computers. That “compliance” must come voluntarily at first, like tax returns. And it won’t happen as long as TRUMP is POTUS.

It’s a ways off. Nothing to see here. Next !!! 🙂

          • The cashless system is already here largely. Very few people use cash for anything any longer.

      2. bitcoin would be a great vehicle to destroy paper money. those secret feds certainly know how to destroy freedom. it is funny that they created a comodity out of a worthless computer blip. hahahaha wow

        • Bitcoin is a pyramid scheme from hell. The last to hold the bag at the end of the party will be screwed the most.

This is worse than Bernie Madoff.

I am shocked that the government has not stepped in to stop it.

But that may be the excuse they need. When the system collapses, so will bitcoin, then they can all blame bitcoin.

          • JS, The government has not stepped in to stop it because they are the ones behind it.

            • No they are not behind Bit Coin; nor are they sponsoring any others. They ARE observing the phenomena and prepping for the day they take the world digital. 🙁

          • From the gubmnt point of view, those who loose in the end of Bitcoin, if it crashes, will be those it wants hurt. Those who dare to get out of its system.

        • At this juncture Cryptos and the current stage of fiat money are more or less the same thing. Simply digital entries to a closed system. Both are fraudulent

      3. bitcoin is a great money laundering scheme just like art and gambling

        • Not anymore. Governments are moving to take down the exchanges. Bit Coin will crash. And THAT might be the proverbial black swan that crashes the economy.

Rebuilding Kalifornia will take lots of money and it will stimulate the economy. Once Japan sees how well real stimulus works, those rice paper shacks in Tokyo will light up like July 4th.

Europe won’t be far behind. 🙂

          • Hardly being taken down, they are now traded at the worlds biggest exchanges and SEC approved !

I have long wondered if the cryptos are in fact a gov creation at this point as an alternative to be used in the coming RESET. Ponder that tidbit ?

      4. Good!
I would love to see markets collapse, government shut down and the muzzys jump all over NYC and SF etc,,,,, go for it, who cares

        • I need to stock pile popcorn…. to enjoy while watching the show!

          • Im just growing gandule beans, boil em up in salt water like edamame, without the estrogen mimicking effects of soy!

            • “gandule beans”
huh good to know. I’ll have to research.

      5. One Of Bank of America’s “Guaranteed Bear Market” Indicators Was Just Triggered

“Since 1986, a bear market has followed each time that Bank of America’s ERR rule has been triggered. And, in November, it was just triggered for the first time since 2003.”

        ht tp://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-12-07/one-bank-americas-guaranteed-bear-market-indicators-was-just-triggered

      6. “In my opinion, they want us cashless, and they want everything in digital form.”

That is the same analysis I mentioned yesterday on the Peter Shiff Article. The conditioning has already been put into place onto the populace.

I still prefer using cash on most things, as many here do as well.
Most cashiers usually look a bit confused when I pay cash – they are used to people swiping their cards, even if its a measly cost of a soda pop and some gum. — it has become the preferred method of payment these days.

Gold & Silver is the best security backup of holdings for now.
I have a hunch, down the road that Government(s) may deem that once again illegal for us peasants to possess.

May I be wrong, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they took that route.

        • have you seen the price of gold and silver today? Silver is 15.80 and gold is 1246 ish. stock up know while you still can.

        • FTW, in my area I would swear cash had been banned if I didn’t know better. I use cash for most of my transactions also. I piss of a lot of cashiers when I do that, LOL. I also see people using cards for the smallest of purchases. It’s true that cards are so much more common than cash now. Not near as many people using cash for anything as there use to be.

      7. Re: A debt reset…

“Do you ever feel—despite the supposed economic “recovery” of recent years—that something in America is still not quite right?
If so, you are not alone.

After all, how can things be “OK” when nearly half the men ages 18-34 now live with their parents—the highest level since the Great Depression?

How can it be “normal” when in one of America’s richest cities (Seattle) there are now 400 unauthorized homeless camps under bridges and along freeway medians?

How can it be a “recovery” when 78% of the U.S. population now lives paycheck to paycheck, with essentially zero savings?

How can you explain things like the dramatic rise of the militant left-wing group ‘Antifa’… the resurgence of White Supremacists… and the booming popularity of the Democratic Socialists—they’ve doubled membership in recent months.

Sure, some people—CEOs, tech entrepreneurs, and other members of the “1%”—are doing great. There’s never been a better time for wealthy Americans. But the truth is, for most people, the situation is getting much, much worse.”

“The real underlying cause of our wealth and income disparity in America is that wages are no longer connected to gains in productivity.”

“We’ve hit a serious tipping point in America.
Our nation, as I’m sure you’ve noticed, has become a financial, cultural, and demographic pressure cooker.”

“Because wages are no longer connected to gains in productivity… Over time… there’s nothing the average American can do to stay ahead of inflation.”

“You see, this idea of erasing debts to reset the financial system is not new. In fact, in the Bible, it’s referred to as a “Jubilee.”

“The number of students with debts over $100,000 has quadrupled in the last ten years. Most of this money will never, ever be repaid.

And most Americans don’t realize that the Millennials (who hold nearly 65% of this debt) are now our country’s largest generation, outnumbering Baby Boomers.

Just think about the political implications…
These people have an enormous stake in whether or not a national Debt Jubilee is declared.”

“You see, when the rich—a very small percentage of the population—get in trouble with debt, it’s an economic problem.
But when the poor and middle class—a huge percentage of the population—get in trouble with debt, it’s a political problem.
And there will be major consequences…

Millions of investors, pensioners, insurance customers, and creditors will lose a fortune.
Stocks will collapse. Dozens of companies will go bankrupt.”

        ht tp://thecrux.com/dyncontent/this-will-be-biggest-political-event-in-america-in-more-than-50-years/?cid=MKT342135&eid=MKT343313

          • Stansberry is likely not far off on his version of the RESET. One is coming for sure but not until most Americans have suffered far more. Today they are still fat and dumb so we have a way to go yet. Not a long way, but the retirement plans have to get eat up first and most are well past underwater now nation wide. So massive cuts will come as well as complete failures. That will be a huge catalyst going forward and no doubt get peoples attention finally to the seriousness of the massive debt that has been created. Also 401Ks and other assets like IRAs will be at risk of seizure, for your own good and the good of the country of course, as determined by some government maniac ! It has already happened before.

        • See any issues with this list?

          Median household income by County…

          • force majeure

unforeseeable circumstances that prevent someone from fulfilling a contract.

            • Thanks lol.

          • Maybe ? but no need to do so, with the current cashless system, how easy is it to simply seize your assets today ? Simply pass the fake law necessary and done deal. All banks and institutions will comply and you are screwed. How easy would it be to create a false pretense for such a thing ? Show me what is NOT fake today

        • MY Mom, you bring up some very good and important questions. They can keep whatever new currency they come up with and their RFID chips. I’ll be gone to ground before it happens.

          • Correction: I meant to say KY Mom, NOT my mom.

            • I’ll say it:

              YOUR MOM.

              (couldnt resist..)

              • BH, they will just dig you up and implant you lol. THERE IS NO ESCAPE! YO MAMMA…. 😛

                • Genius, you ain’t right, LOL. As long as I have the means of resistance, chipping me just ain’t gonna happen. No RFID chips for me ever! But potato chips, corn chips, or even tortilla chips with some salsa, now that’s different.

        • KY Mom- yes I have been saying this for two years! You can feel something is wrong. We never have any money left for anything! My husband made good money but when a tub of butter is nearly $6 and the wages stay the same…at this rate we will be homeless too.

      8. Zero savings? Sounds like me, you get used to it.

        • Maybe you can start up a new CASH crop? 😉 You guys have a lot of sugar, maybe use “whiskeycoin” There ARE alternatives!

          • Also try “winecoin” “beercoin” “cigcoin” . I wonder what pineapple wine would be like? Or coconut shine. I bet you could make some good bux with it!

            • Both pineapple and coconuts make good booze.

      9. KY Mom: thanks for the great post. All too true. As for us we’ve 3 gallons of non GMO non sprayed heirloom popcorn from this years crop. I also believe all bets are off come New Year’s. Somewhere out there is a big pin heading for the massive unprecedented bubbles. I fear a NK cyberattack on our grid when the Korean war resumes. And worse. When the cell phone system goes down some 1/2 of folks will be beyond terrified. http://www.primetimeshortwave.com for current listings of English broadcasts. I’m real big on alternative communications.

        • Tennessean, I also keep a couple of shortwaves with SSB as backup comms. I test them every 2 weeks. Also, keep plenty of spare batteries on hand for them.

        • Get a Ham license and learn how to make and set up antennas.
          An abbreviated presentation I made

          Communications
          Introduction
When things go to pot, reliable and current information can be your most valuable asset. You will have plans to address various scenarios, but if reality does not fit one of the scenarios you planed for, there is no longer a plan and you are improvising as you go.

While the CB and the newer Family Bands are fine for limited range, there are other frequencies that offer greater range, consistency, privacy, and options.

It is assumed you will be getting a License, so the information is presented with that in mind. Included are resources and tips to help you study for the exams as well as information I have found useful.

Even if only 2 or 3 of us go forward, we will still need support to set up and manage equipment so the rest need to know the basics.

If any know they will be sticking together no matter what, chip in a share the cost.

The minimum to do is get a Technician License, and a hand held 2 meter rig.

Having a license will not be a concern in a worst case scenario. However, when you desperately need information is not the time to learn how to use the equipment or radio protocol.

          Licenses
An FCC License is required to transmit on the Amateur Bands or frequencies.

There are 3 levels of licenses; Technician, General, and Extra.

Each level gives increased access to the Amateur frequencies, increased details on the subject and more involved calculations.

Question pools are on the internet as are online practice exams. Study guides are available for free down load and some are available for a small fee.

Free down loads are on the files provided. The No-Nonsense-Extra-Class-License-Study-Guide was $9 and worth every penny.

Start by taking a practice exam to establish a bench mark. Read the study guide(s) once and take the exam again. You will be surprised at the improvement.

Join a Ham club and get to know the folks. As a rule they are more than willing to help you out with whatever you need, especially if you have begun preparing for the exam and have some intelligent questions.

Distance of various bands and radios or, how far can I talk with these things?
          Typically:
          Area Communication – 5 to 25 Miles VHF and UHF Frequencies – 2M, 1.25M, 70CM

Local Communication – 25 to 100 Miles VHF and the shorter HF bands such as 6 and 10 Meters

Regional to World Wide Communication – HF which is 160 to 6 Meters

VHF and UHF are typically line of sight. There is some bending over the horizon and reflection from buildings, mountains, and clouds, but primarily line of sight. The higher you are the better. Height and the antenna are more important than power.

HF is more dependent on reflection off of the ionosphere. Bounces back down for short range and angled reflection to go over the horizon and around the world. Long range HF propagation is also highly dependent on atmospheric conditions, the position of the sun and sunspot activity. Again a good antenna is better than more power.

          Equipment
          Radios
          Hand Held or HT – 70 CM, 2M, 6M, and 10M
          5W output and you can get a 12V Amplifier for $100 +/-.
A good choice is the Yaesu FT-270R because it is submergible and reasonably priced. Only 2M, but everything is a compromise.
The Yaesu VX-6R covers 2M, 1.25M, and 70CM, and is water proof, but is 3X the cost. Could spend $15 on a Chinese knock off.

An HT will be fine for Mobile use with a Roof Mounted Antenna or small beam. Though you can get an amplifier, if you can’t hear the other repeater or station, you cannot talk to them.
A Mag Mount antenna improves an HT performance if it has a ground plane such as a car roof, sheet of steel, pipe, hand rail, etc. A Pizza Pan works very well.

          Mobile and Base – 2M, 6M, and 10M, HF-160 to 6M, with some down to 70CM.
          30 to 75W output and you can get a 12V / 120 V Amplifier for $100 +/-.

Some radios are primarily for base station use and are the largest and heaviest with the most bells and whistles.

Those designed for mobile and or portable use are smaller and run on 12 V.

Establish a relationship with another Ham, they may lend you a rig to play with.
If you do not like layers of menus stay away from those that are severely menu driven such as the Yaesu models.

The Kenwood TS-480SAT is a good HF Rig because it is not too big, has a 5 to 100 Watt output, and has an internal automatic antenna tuner. It runs off 12 V so can serve as a back pack, portable, mobile and base rig.
Like everything else, it is all a compromise.
See the hot crazy index. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKWmFWRVLlU

          Antennas
You will need antennas resonant on each band and / or an antenna tuner if you want to use an antenna for more than one band. You can make a simple dipole for less than $50 for most bands.

Handy Talkie – Stock Rubber Duck, a better Rubber Duck, a Vertical Mag Mount for a car, hand held beam, etc.

Coax, or Feed Line – Needed to run from the radio to the antenna, comes in various lengths and sizes.

          http://www.hamuniverse.com/randomwireantennalengths.html

          The Dipole
The most common antenna is the Dipole. It is 2 pieces of wire, ¼ wave length long separated by a center insulator. The center of the coax ties to one side and the shield ties to the other.

The formula for a dipole antenna using insulated wire is: 468 / F (mHz) = Total length in feet. Use 492 for bare wire. hamuniverse.com/easydipole.html

The height of the dipole affects the radiation pattern
          F:\HAM\Presentation\Antennas\Dipole Height\Dipole Height.htm

          Also See http://www.marcspages.co.uk/tech/antchose.htm

          Support Equipment –

Antenna Analyzer – Used to determine the Standing Wave Ratio (SWR) of the antenna and feed line system before you connect it to the radio.

SWR can change with height, orientation, conductivity and slope of the local ground. If you use the antenna the same way each time, the SWR should be about the same. http://www.arrl.org/files/file/Technology/tis/info/pdf/q1106037.pdf

Antenna Tuner – The tuner will fool the transmitter into thinking the antenna is resonant. A tuner uses capacitors and inductors to match the antenna impedance to 50 Ohms so the transmitter is happy. A tuner is not necessary if you use resonant antennas.

Tools – Volt Meter is the only must-have, other tools will be useful depending on what you end up doing.

          Power
          Field Operations
Battery – 12 V, Sealed lead acid, NiCad, Lithium
You can use a car, boat, or motorcycle generator to recharge or provide power during operation as well as a generator or solar panel.

          Base Operations
          120 to 12V power supplies run about $130 for 25 A.
Some base radios come with an internal power supply.

          Containers
About anything can be used to transport or store the equipment. Consider what you have and the conditions you will encounter. Some examples are: Back Packs with water proof bags, Ammo Boxes, Plano Cases and a 5 gallon bucket with a Gama seal lid. Any foam packing or bubble wrap will work.

Home storage or transport in a faraday cage will protect against an EMP.
          http://www.thesurvivalistblog.net/build-your-own-faraday-cage-heres-how/

          .robkalmeijer.nl/techniek/electronica/radiotechniek/hambladen/qst/1986/08/page15/index.html infobunker.com/HERFandEMPthreats.htm

          Cost
Depends on how far you go with the hobby.
For starters, you need at a minimum $300 for a 2 M Handy Talkie, Mag Mount Antenna, some coax jumpers, an Amplifier, and Log Book.

If all in your group get the same radio you can use the same programming software, can learn from each other, and do not have to learn how to use several radios.

The FT-270R has the ability to work “Split” or transmit on one frequency and receive on another to allow some privacy for those set up on the right frequencies.

Another $150 gets you a beam, coax and a few lengths of fence pipe to get it up in the air and you can stretch out to 50 miles or so

For HF, plan on $2800 for the Kenwood TS 480SAT, a tuner, analyzer, power supply, wire and parts for several dipole antennas, a sling shot or fishing rod and lots of string to get them into the trees. Add about 3 to 500 more for LI or NiCad batteries and a voltage regulator if you intend to get away from the car or 120V source.

          • Thats a great post LOD. But you can get baofeng radios for 30 bux each (uhf/vhf) programmable. Many accessories for them too including simplex repeaters. I used to talk to my friend 30 miles away with a uhf 7 element yagi and he had a mobile mag mount with a ground plane. This was over a mountain too not line of sight. He was a ham and tried to talk me into it and I studied it but decided against it because I don’t want to be registered with the govt. Besides when your a licensed ham they say they can use you for emergency comms. Screw all that if your remote you can use vhf/uhf with 5 watts and be fine. We have a network of people (in our remote locality) that use the baofeng handhelds to talk all the time (on biz frequencies). If I want to know whats going on far away I have several shortwaves I can do that with. A CB is close enough to 10 meters and can talk very far away with an amp and yagi. Ya going legal is cool and fun but I’m more of a pirate type lol.

            • Genius, you sound more like me when you said the word PIRATE, haha. I have a few shortwaves with SSB; only ones worth having. I also have a CB but need to get an amp for it. I considered hams at one time but it looks too expensive for me. I’m more like you. I’m fine with what I have. I also don’t want to be registered with the stinkin’ govt. and don’t want them using me for squat.

      10. Everything is fucked – I don’t know what else to say about it truthfully folks…

      11. I agree with most of the article, However
I disagree with the Hyperinflation claim.
        Historically when a crash occurs,
you get deflation( which to me is far
better as I have no debt).
I will stay with cash as it is an essential
part of my local underground economy.
In many places here there are two prices,
a cash price and a credit card or
        personal check price.
I stay away from precious metals as they are
hard to exchange locally and easy to cheat on.

        • Hard to exchange precious metals? Go to any coin shop and get spot price for them. Duh

          • Hey Don,
No coin shops near me, I have to drive 45 miles to get to Hilo.
I’d have to be pretty dumb to travel into a large population area
(Hilo ~43,000 people), where there may be a lot of desperate people.
So PM’s aren’t high on my priority.
Barter and cash are my priorities if it all crashes.
            Aloha.

            • Screw that just sell it on ebay and get over spot. Besides Don is full of shit, NO coin shop pays spot.

              • You can sell it on craigslist for spot though. Just meet them in a public place for safety.

      12. Ok….. if government doesn’t have to tow the line
with debt responsibility……then why not “reset” ALL
        debt to everyone.
        Mortgage debt…GONE!
        Business debt…..GONE!
        Loan debt…..GONE!

ALL debt to Legally Born (born from TWO LEGALLY born U.S.
parents who are Constitution supporting and law abiding,
U.S. Native Citizens) are the NEW “debt free” WINNERS!

Those responsible for U.S. economic failure will pay the winners!

High roller Banksters, tricksters, ponzi pushers, money changers,
Shadow Govmnt, Deep State, Builderbergers, Tri-laterals,
        Government pensioners, Nazi Organizers, Anti-Americans
        All LOSERS!!!!

        Clear the Craps table…..
        NEW GAME!!!

      13. “You won’t have access to your Bitcoin” because it will be outlawed.

        • they don’t have to outlaw it. It has been hacked and stolen a few times already. Oh sorry your bitcoin wallet is empty.

      14. I dont care about the crash. Honestly, I dont.

Its what comes after, and who builds it that I’m concerned about.

      15. money should be backed by GOLD!

        • Or backed by organ harvesting of liberals lol.

          • One day a man walked into a strange deli
He looked around and noticed they had human brains for sale
There were Italian brains 20.00 a pound
            Polish brains 10.00 a pound
Irish brains 15.00 a pound etc.
Then he noticed Liberal brains 1000.00 a pound
He asked the clerk why Liberal brains were so much more
            The Clerk replied:
“Do you know how many Liberals you have to kill to get a pound of brains?”
            😛

            • Genius, ROTFLMAO! One of the best I’ve ever heard anywhere. Sounds like one Eppe would come up with. I miss him. RIP Eppe. you are missed more than you know.

      17. To me, there’s a disconnect between Bitcoin being a Logano-class (best thing to come along since sliced bread) financial instrument and the basics of pure free-market economics. The concept of block chain, and its so-called complete transparency of financial transactions, is a complete contradiction of the bedrock principles of a true and pure free market.

In theory, if the current Bitcoin technology were to allow for Bitcoin to be used to buy a sack of groceries, the block chain would have what is basically a public record of what is in your sack of groceries.

Look at the bedrock principles of a true and pure free market. Money, wealth or capital goes from point A to point B quickly, efficiently, and discreetly. That means it gets to where it needs to be fast, with no delays at point B, and the name of the owner of said money, wealth or capital is not attached to it. Further, when said money, wealth or capital gets to point B, its owner can freely convert it into any other currency or hard, physical assets like gold and silver coinage or bullion.

When I apply these principles to Bitcoin, I find that Bitcoin just does not measure up, and you are probably better off putting your money into the real stuff, gold and silver. For me to begin to be sold on anything like Bitcoin, I would need to be able to put physical cash or gold/silver into it at point A, take my Bitcoin wallet to point B, then be able to convert my Bitcoin into local currency or gold/silver at point B without ever having my name attached to it. For me to be further sold on Bitcoin, I would need to be able to cross asset classes and take assets such as real estate or a stock portfolio, convert them into Bitcoin at point A, take my Bitcoin wallet to point B, then convert that Bitcoin into local currency or gold/silver at point B without my name ever being attached to the transaction. As things stand today, Bitcoin does not allow for transactions to be conducted in this manner, and from what I’ve been able to gather on it, there was never any intention for Bitcoin to allow people to conduct transactions in accordance with the bedrock principles of a true and pure free market.

I would consider Bitcoin as a form of fiyat that has evolved to a level where privacy and freedom will be removed from even the most banal of transactions, namely buying a sack of groceries.

Then there’s the elephant in the room: why are the world’s two true superpowers, Russia and China, acquiring immense quantities of physical gold? China right now physically owns a minimum of 45,000 tonnes, and Russia physically owns multiple times what China owns; my guess would be Russia owns, minimum, 2x to 3x the physical gold that China owns. Either China and Russia are going to be the tip of the spear on a gold-backed crypto-currency that replaces the dollar as a global reserve/trade settlement currency, or they know crypto-currencies are just the latest scheme conjured up to fleece people of holdings they could convert into real, physical money, where they would be in position to thrive once the petro-dollar dies.

        • Peter,
#1 pile of gold is American.
We have four times more than China.
Twice of Russian and China combined.
          By most
I assume much of your Chinese 45,000 metric
tons are still in the ground.
All the sources I can find list China at
~1,800 metric tons. If they really had 45,000 metric tons,
that supply would really drive down prices.

P.S. There is no such thing as “Physical money”
Money is a means to transfer wealth.
Land, resources, structures, food, ships,et al.
          tangible assets are wealth.
          Money is not.

          • relik, we have no gold. When was the last time there was an audit and inventory? The 60’s? Don’t believe that lie, it’s all been sold or ownership transferred. Think about why the fed reserve demanded payment in gold from the US govt. And why we went off the gold standard. Pretty simple plan.

            • You may be right.
I’d rather have sustainable clear cutting rights to Americas national forests than all the gold in China.
I’d rather have grazing rights to all Federal lands than all the gold in Russia.
I’d rather have drilling leases on all federal lands and waters than all the gold in the world.
              Get my point?

              • Yes I do, and your right!

                • Metals are not wealth, resources/commodities ARE! Thats why we fight to steal them from defenseless countries…

            • We may still have a couple of 33 gallon trash cans sitting in a back room vault in Fort Knox containing confiscated pre-1933 gold coins, where the gold averages out to about 90% fine, but other than that, the US does not physically own much of anything in the way of gold reserves. We’re pretty much like Canada. Whatever comes out of the ground is sold off immediately in the form of bullion coinage or bars. At least Canadian bullion coinage is true 99.99% fine 24k gold. US coinage claims to be 99.99% fine 24k gold, with 3% silver and 5.33% copper added for durability, making it alloy coinage versus straight bullion coinage. Then there’s the real question of why someone would put 5.33% pig metal into what started out as a 99.99% fine 24k gold coin.

      18. Can anyone see any other way of getting out of our ever increasing debt? A false flag cyber bank attack, A Kim Jong EMP, Turn off those EBT cards , Government pension cards, Credit cards in general. For 30 days. And there won’t be many people left to owe money too? Or spend money on?

      19. Use cash always I support the human!

      20. we already have a digital currency-the US DOLLAR-90% of all ‘dollar” transactions are digital-credit/debit cards, e-checks, and the like-no PHYSICAL cash changes hands-it is all digital

      21. A cashless society means that those who control the system control who can buy, when and what. No cash means no “black market” so you’d have to buy through the system. Bartering is possible, buy way less efficient than using cash.

      22. I have been using debit cards for years. Automatic payments, automatic withdrawal. Rarely use cash. Automatic deposits.Have had no problems none at all.
