A new video has surfaced on YouTube which shows what appears to be a UFO zig-zagging it’s way over the Yellowstone supervolcano in northern Wyoming. The video was taken on June 9, but only recently uploaded to the video-sharing site.
The bright metallic object can be seen zipping across the sky on the left.
Yellowstone has long been a hotspot for alien sightings and UFO enthusiasts. According to the National UFO Reporting Center, there have been hundreds of reported sightings in the state of Wyoming, going all the way back to 1871. Jeanetta Foresta uploaded a video of the sighting under the heading “Things R flying all over – overnight”. She posted: “There were more than four at the beginning and this is overnight so there is no sun to reflect off of a plane.”

This is not the first sighting of an unidentifiable object in the sky near Yellow Stone. In 2016 there too was a sighting of what appeared to be a drone-like object hovering directly above the head of the summit. Footage of this sighting can also be found on Jeanette’s channel under a video titled “Things Are Flying All Over The Night Sky! Upper Basin – Overnight!”
The famed Yellowstone volcano has garnered national interest in recent months, especially over the summer when more than 400 earthquakes hit in one week near the volcano. “This is the highest number of earthquakes at Yellowstone within a single week in the past five years, but is fewer than weekly counts during similar earthquakes swarms in 2002, 2004, 2008 and 2010,” scientists explained in a June statement to the Star Valley Independent. The scientists added, however, that the swarms are nothing new and are not a cause for worry. Experts at the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) say the risk of the Yellowstone supervolcano erupting is quite low, with a probability of one in 730,000.
There is still no official explanation for what was captured on this video.

Interestingly, Allen Hynek, was was perhaps THE most famous researcher in the 1970s on the topic, finally came down on the side of these sightings being **terrestial** – not interterrestrial. Google his name for reference.

Actually, I used to be quite knowledgeable on the subject of UFOs. I was acquainted with journalist John A. Keel back in the ’70’s who wrote The Mothman Prophecies which was turned into a movie starring Richard Gere some years back. The sort of things that are presented in that movie actually happened to people that Keel had investigated.
Keel’s conclusion was that UFOs were very real, but had nothing to do with aliens. He believed they were some phenomena generated by the human mind in connection with more obscure phenomena having to do with possibly some sort of energy intelligences or even cosmic radiation. He did think there were entities involved but perhaps not in every case, and probably not aliens as conventionally thought of.
One theory posited by a Canadian nueroscientist, Michael Persinger, at Laurentian University in Canada, is that increased temporal lobe activity can explain paranormal experiences such as alien abduction. His theory is that magnetic fields stimulate the temporal lobes, resulting in hallucinatory experiences similar to those reported by alien abductees.
He also believes that these magnetic events are associated with seismic activity, which fits perfectly with the Supervolcano and its earthquakes.
My personal theory is based on two facts: 1) We know that there were multiple protohuman species existing millions of years ago; and 2) nanotechnology.
I posit that a proto-human species became intelligent BEFORE the human species did, that they created a civilization equivalent to ours, that they then discovered nanotechnology and leaped ahead technologically to become what some theorists call “Post-Human”.
By the time humans got technologically developed, these Post-Humans were thousands or millions of years ahead of us, to the point where they can exist around us without our barely being able to detect them, much like ants or even chimpanzees don’t really comprehend humans.
So the theory posits superhuman intelligence all around us, but not “aliens” from conventional science fiction.
Darn illegal aliens even screwing up Yellowstone. Build the dome already!
Umm..Don’t they need to look like a saucer, or anything at all that looks like a space shipt to make a story? Maybe it was some science club’s homemade rocket. It seems pretty unimpressive to me.

I was asked the other day what scared me more with all that’s going on in our world. I told them Yellowstone. The look and response I got was memorable. WHAT? When Yellowstone finally blows and it will, 1/2 of the US will become extinct!
You are correct. Yellowstone blowing would give us a Nuclear Winter and no food would grow for many yrs on the east coast. The sun would be covered with ash for years, and i forget how many yrs. Does anyone know? Cuz my first scare would be an EMP and my second scare would be Yellowstone blowing. And ya know, i don’t know how some of us sleep at night!
