What Is Going To Happen In September 2015? Why Are So Many People Storing Food And Supplies?

Have you noticed that there is a tremendous amount of Internet buzz about the month of September 2015? Never before have I seen so much speculation about what would happen in one particular month. Some people believe that we will see an economic collapse next month, others believe that there will be some sort of historic natural disaster, and others are convinced that the judgment of God is coming. So right now, large numbers of Americans are stocking up on emergency food and supplies like crazy. Personally, I have never been more concerned about any period of time as I am about the last six months of 2015. Several weeks ago, I expressed my belief that chaos will begin once the summer ends. These are the last days of “normal life” in America, and just about everything that we currently take for granted is about to be shaken.
A lot of people that I know have been storing up food and supplies like never before, but I didn’t realize how widespread this phenomenon was until I came across the following Natural News report…
As reported by AllNewsPipeline.com (ANP), correspondents for the news site began visiting a number of survival food websites in July, with the goal of ordering some essential bulk food items that included potatoes, carrots, mangoes, peaches, powdered eggs and powdered milk, among other items. But the more they shopped, the more they found notices on the survival food sites stating that supplies were either low or temporarily out of stock.
Only, the warnings did not say that stocks would be immediately replenished; rather, the site reported, some food items would take weeks to restock.
Upon returning to those sites a few days later, the situation had become even more dire: Many sites weren’t even certain when stocks of some items would be replaced.
“While both Preparewise and Buy Emergency Foods EXPECT these items to be back in stock in 3 to 4 weeks, the fact that both of these websites are experiencing overwhelming demand and currently COMPLETELY out of some of the most basic food groups should tell everybody a few things,” ANP reported. “Americans are buying up these products in HUGE numbers as more and more Americans have come to expect a reason to need these items at some point in the future.”
The mainstream media likes to mock “preppers”, but nobody is going to be mocking them when things really start falling apart in this country.
When there is a severe lack of food, ordinary people can start acting like wild animals. Just consider what is happening in Venezuela right now. In this video and this video you can watch average Venezuelans go into panic mode over just a little bit of food.
Will we eventually see similar scenes in this country?
Many Americans are also feverishly stocking up on physical gold and silver. In fact, sales of gold eagles are up 50 percent compared to last year…
Gold Eagle sales for the first seven months of the year, increased a staggering 50% from 296,000 oz in 2014 to 443,000 oz in 2015. Most of the Gold Eagle buying took place in July with total sales for the month at 170,000 oz. Thus, Gold Eagle sales in July account for nearly 40% of total sales for the year.
So why is this happening?
Why are people so freaked out?
Well, more than anything else people are pointing to the month of September. The following comes from a recent piece authored by Lisa Haven…
It seems a lot of people lately are having a gut feeling that something “Big” is about to unfold, but no one knows exactly what it is. Maybe people are feeling that way because of the events that are taking place around them. From signs in the heavens, to military stockpiling, to politically disturbing events. A pretty impressive list. But before I continue, I do want to note one thing. I do not believe that the Jubilee year begins in 2015. In my research, I have come to the conclusion that Jubilee years begin in our calendar years that end in 29 and 79. In other words, the last two Jubilee years began in 1929 and 1979, and the next one will begin in 2029. Some time soon I hope to write an entire article about this.
But without a doubt, there is a very impressive confluence of events that all come together in September. The following is an extended excerpt from one of my previous articles…

September 13th – This is Elul 29 on the Biblical calendar – the last day of the Shemitah year. Many are concerned about this date because we have seen giant stock market crashes on the last day of the previous two Shemitah cycles.
On September 17th, 2001 (which was Elul 29 on the Biblical calendar), we witnessed the greatest one day stock market crash in U.S. history up until that time. The Dow plummeted 684 points, and it was a record that held for exactly seven years until the end of the next Shemitah cycle.
On September 29th, 2008 (which was also Elul 29 on the Biblical calendar), the Dow fell by an astounding 777 points, which still today remains the greatest one day stock market crash of all time.
Now we are approaching the end of another Shemitah year. So will the stock market crash on September 13th, 2015? Well, no, because that day is a Sunday. So I guarantee that the stock market will not crash on that particular day. But as Jonathan Cahn has pointed out in his book on the Shemitah, sometimes stock market crashes happen just before the end of the Shemitah year and sometimes they happen within just a few weeks after the end of the Shemitah. So we are not just looking at one particular date.
September 15th – The 70th session of the UN General Assembly begins on this date. It is being reported that France plans to introduce a resolution which would give formal UN Security Council recognition to a Palestinian state. Up until now, the United States has always been the one blocking such a resolution, but Barack Obama is indicating that things may be much different this time around.
September 25th to September 27th – The United Nations is going to launch a brand new sustainable development agenda for the entire planet. Some have called this “Agenda 21 on steroids”. But this new agenda is not just about the environment. It also includes provisions regarding economics, agriculture, education and gender equality. On September 25th, the Pope will travel to New York to give a major speech kicking off the UN conference where this new agenda will be unveiled.
September 28th – This is the date for the last of the four blood moons that fall on Biblical festival dates during 2014 and 2015. This blood moon falls on the very first day of the Feast of Tabernacles, it will be a “supermoon”, and it will actually be visible in the city of Jerusalem. There are many that dismiss the blood moon phenomenon, but we have seen similar patterns before. For example, a similar pattern of eclipses happened just before and just after the destruction of the Jewish temple by the Romans in 70 AD.

So what is going to happen this September?
Whatever it is, we don’t have very long until we find out.
Recently, there have been a few people that have come to my websites and have suggested that getting wrapped up in these things is wrong and that instead we should just “seize the day” and focus on enjoying our lives as much as we can.
Of course the truth is that it doesn’t do any good in the long-term to stick our heads in the sand. If we willingly ignore the ominous clouds on the horizon, we do so at our own peril.
I think that all of us should consider these words that were recently penned by Larry Tomczak…

Like Tomczak, I believe that we have reached “a tipping point” and that we are entering a “perfect storm”.
I believe that the months ahead are going to dramatically change life in America and that we are entering difficult times unlike anything that any of us have ever experienced.

I have noticed the weather and how crazy it does seem, but there is one thing about weather it is always changing and will always change.
So the weather changes just like the seasons every year.

My best advice is to try(yes,I realise aggravating at times)to get more folks on the prep bandwagon,the more the merrier,and perhaps we can down road cross pollinate our goods ect and also be strong enuff to help others,I hope/work towards that though still will run and die solo due to personal choice.

What state are you in? If you are in the south you will be surprised how many groups are out there. A good prepper keeps a low profile. Hang in there just keep your ears open and keep looking.
I found that there is 2 other prepper groups in my area, just the other day and I thought there was just me and our group. They are out there just hang-in there you will find one, or more.

I’ve also been checking survival food sites and can verify what they’re saying so I’m still buying my usual items for the food pantry. I’ll bet a dollar to a doughnut that FEMA is getting all the freeze-dried food items they can once again just to keep it out of our hands. I’ve got another supply run scheduled to the BOL in 2 weeks. It’s possible I could make the BUGOUT in Sept. depending on what happens. I feel like it’s a whole series of smaller events leading up to the balloon going up. I hope to bugout before the balloon goes up. In the meantime, I’m still stacking and will do so even after I bugout. The Pope is supposed to be in the US Sept.22-27 to speak to Congress and the UN. It will be interesting to see what happens in the aftermath of that. Everyone keep prepping and get everything you can while you can. Time is getting short. I don’t like the looks of things out here.

Hi Piper,
Things are definitely changing. Things here down in the Sip seem to be more tense than I ever remember. I’m surprised it’s worse than when I left ct a few mos ago. I feel time is short. Doing everything I can to get the fam up and running. We have 16 chickens now, 3 different breeds with roosters in separate coops so we can hatch meat and egg producers and keep strong lines. Hope to be getting a little bull calf within the next month or two (neighbors have been grazing their cattle on my dads farm so pasture wouldn’t grow up….gotta give the, fair notice. They looked after the farm for 6 months until we got moved.
Youngest son going to college Saturday. Gonna build him a GHB before he goes. So much to do, so little time to do it. Keepin the faith.

I’ve had an arrangement to move into a cousin’s BOL for over 2 years now and made numerous trips to move supplies there. going again in 2 weeks on another run. Depending on events, I could be bugging out in Sept. Even I believe now that the Sept./Oct. time frame will be ‘interesting’, more interesting than I want. the site is not what it used to be but I can’t bring myself to leave it. I am bugging in. Only one in my family to live in rural area in a 3 bedroom house. Only one in my family is prepping for bugging inplace in the city. But she lives west of I5 on the Cascade fault so will likely get swamped with the tsunami if the megaquake occurs. However, she does have a row boat and dreamed she had to row to rescue a niece whose house flooded. I hope they can row to the end of the flood area and I can drive the 50 or so miles to pick them up. Just don’t know how they could let me know where they are. Phones probably won’t work.

Don’t forget to stock up for your 4 footed family members. I just went out and stocked up on undies, tee shirts, and socks even though I live up in the mountains can’t go naked, or can I? We have such peace of mind since moving up here all alone except for the deer and other small creatures who call this mountain home. Found some old apple trees that have quite a crop this year so I’m going to make applesauce and can it and think I will try drying apples on a string like my Grandmother used to do. They make great apple pies.
Everyone seems to be getting things done for the coming months ahead I’m just sorry we are so few in numbers they say preppers are about 3% of the population.
Our garden is not up to it’s usual status as we had already started our plants and the move really didn’t do them much good, tomatoes are doing OK but not their usual, peppers are going to be slim this year but we are good anyway.

NR, if we’re hit by an EMP, we will go backwards and will never go forward again I fear. Life will be totally different and especially more difficult in the post-EMP era. Most of the population will dead in less than 30 days from malnutrition, dehydration, disease, etc. I believe it will be hell on earth, so to speak. I’ve been prepping for this for many years. I don’t know if I’ll make it all the way through but I’ll give it my best shot. I agree with your idea of the dark ages. God knows I dread it like hell.
Realistically speaking, why would we want it to get any better. 1850 or 1750 type living would beat the heck out of what we are doing today. My wife and I are in it for the long haul. We have all we need to get us through this Winter and into the next growing season again. My “campsites” are ready and I can keep an eye on things without being here at the homestead like a sitting duck. You need to have preset signals to communicate without anyone else having a clue.

With rationing we could probably make it a couple years with what we have on hand and anything we forage or grow next year is luxury food. We have a lake here with 36 miles of undeveloped shoreline so I should be able to run a hidden trot-line. Thousands of acres of forest hold plenty of squirrels and chipmonks. Tree rat anyone? I have plenty of small connibear traps.
By mid-winter the population should be settled down to those who are ready. By the middle of next winter the people who are the real enemy will be out and should present targets of opportunity.Wishfull thinking I know.

I have seen this coming for a few years now. Don’t know if its an economic collapse, EMP, WW3, tyranny etc., just that something is coming and its not going to be good. I was real worried they’d try to set me down and preach to me when I went there, but they didn’t. They were the most friendly, helpful people I’ve run across in a long time. These people are truly doing Gods work in helping others help themselves. Hope this source can help those that are having a hard time getting their last minute preps. I know this passage is specifically speaking to wandering off from the Gospel into other doctrines, but it can be applied to listening overly much to fearmongering, too.
Despite all those items listed above, i’m suspecting more and more that nothing of significance happens in september.
Nearly every us company has been showing declining revenues/sales the whole year, yet the stock market hasnt dropped more than 4% over the past 6 months.
the powers that be have rigged the world into complacency and it’s not shaking out of that until war breaks in the middle east and that’s away off now that irans prioirty is to line up nukes for israel and has backed off just causing trouble for everyone in the neighborhood.
It’s the same shyt every year.. people come forecasting the end of days in Sept. / Oct.
Frankly I am pretty sick of hearing it. All the fear mongering sites like this never seem to come to pass. All the $$$ I invested in that prepper crap and all it does is gather dust. LOL.
Sites like this gets mega kick back on the ads they display. The more the fear mongering the bigger the percentage of sales they get.

Just had a conversation with our 2 adult children (not married) last month. Told them if and when things go bad. we have room for only them, no friends no pets.
The reason silver Eagles have large increases in sales is due to the price of silver going down. People will pay spot plus the premium with hope that the prices will return to the 50 dollar an oz range. There is no way the sales numbers support buying with a gut feeling there will be an event. Speculation drives the price.
To everybody here, avoid buying from Survival Acres. The idiot owner over there pretty much just called everyone in the preparedness community a bunch of morons. He claims that everything is fine and that happy days are here. He also believes in the Church of Global Warming.
