United States ruler Donald Trump is building an “armada” in the Middle East, as warhawk Senator Lindsey Graham meets with the Emirati president. The American military presence in the region in decades continues to growas the rulers continue with their war rhetoric.

The unprecedented air and naval force sent by Trump to the Persian Gulf was sent to coerce Iran into submission to the U.S., but Tehran isn’t blinking, and Trump may be backing himself into a situation where war with Iran may be unavoidable.

Back in June, the U.S. attacked Iran during the 12-day war, in order to stop the nuclear program that Tehran continues to insist is peaceful and it won’t be giving up any missiles. The US is seeking a complete halt to Iran’s uranium enrichment and the dismantlement of its ballistic missile program, while Iran has said that it is willing to lower the amount of nuclear enrichment it is conducting.

This concession does not seem to be good enough for the U.S., however.

The buildup is one of Trump’s core strategies for Iran. He is attempting to press the Islamic Republic into maximum concessions with the threat of a “far worse” attack than the bombing raid he ordered on Iranian nuclear sites last summer.

As US and Iranian representatives met in Geneva on Tuesday, a steady flow of American refueling tankers, electronic warfare aircraft, and fighter jets crossed the Atlantic, stopping at bases in the UK and Germany on their way to the Middle East. The nuclear-powered USS Abraham Lincoln has been deployed in the Persian Gulf since January as part of President Donald Trump’s buildup in the region, and is expected to be joined soon by the USS Gerald R. Ford, currently sailing toward the Strait of Gibraltar. –RT

In his X post, Graham also criticized what he called “false narratives” circulating about the UAE (United Arab Emirates) and its ruler. Earlier this week, social media speculation about the health of the sheikh, also known as MBZ, had surged after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan postponed a planned visit to Abu Dhabi. His office announced the reason as a “health problem” before deleting the message.
