According to the United States ruler, Donald Trump, the European countries he threatened with tariffs don’t need his help to fall into ruin. Trump claimed that they are making “horrible” decisions and “destroying” themselves.

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Wednesday, Trump said that while the U.S. wants to see Europe succeed, “it is not going in the right direction.” Is Europe the next region Trump will set his sights on for regime change, takeover, and control?

He blamed European nations’ uncontrolled migration policies and what he called the “green new scam,” a term he uses to describe green energy policies, arguing that a focus on wind power has driven up energy prices in the region.

“The consequences of such destructive policies have been stark, including lower economic growth, lower standards of living, lower birth rates, more socially disruptive migration, more vulnerability to hostile foreign adversaries,” he said. RT

The U.S. has those very same issues, so what is Trump saying?

“It’s horrible what they’re doing to themselves; they’re destroying themselves. We want strong allies, not seriously weakened ones,” Trump said.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio reposted Trump’s remarks on X, formerly Twitter, shortly after, arguing that if the Europeans do not change their cultural trajectory, “they will destroy themselves.”

According to a report by RT, Moscow agrees with the U.S. that the European Union is in decline. Back in December, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that after the fall of the USSR, Russia expected to be welcomed into the “civilized Western family,” but that “civilization there is nonexistent, and degradation is all there is.”

The U.S. is becoming increasingly imperialistic, and its drive to control the world could be its downfall. Many independent and mainstream media outlets have noticed the rapid, vitriolic rhetoric and the disturbing slide to totalitarian dictatorship in the U.S.’s quest for dominance. If the U.S. doesn’t alter its course, it is very likely to go down with this ship.
