I just received a text message from my brother, who lives about 5 minutes from Fountain Place in Dallas, TX (The diamond looking building). Police on the scene, as, according to the Dallas Morning News, a Jordanian citizen attempted to detonate a WMD / Car Bomb.

Federal authorities arrested a 19-year-old Jordanian citizen whom they said placed an inactive car bomb today at Fountain Place, a 60-story skyscraper in downtown Dallas.

Details are still sketchy on this one — we’re not sure if we’re talking car bomb or true WMD such as chemical or biological. But perhaps something is brewing in terror land, especially considering the FBI arrested several terror suspects in Denver in the last few days. There is always a possibility that this was going to be a coordinated attack across the US.

UPDATE 1: According to the Dallas Morning News, the car bomb was “inactive.” The FBI had the suspect under surveillance for period of time before the arrest was made today. Perhaps the Feds actually provided the equipment to the suspect to see what he would do with it? Questions.. only questions thus far.

      1. BULLSHIT!!! WHERE ARE DE PICTURES?? OR FURTHER DETAILS ABOUT THIS ”TERRORIST”????
NOTHING!! NADA AT ALL!! BECAUSE HE DOESN’T EXIST AT ALL!! BULLSHIT OF DE CIA!!

      2. Here’s more details on this: http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/09/25/texas.terror.arrest/index.html

Looks like the FBI provided the fake bomb. They told him it could be set off by calling a special phone number, but the number actually called the FBI directly and that’s how they knew he had tried to set it off.

They also talk about a case in Springfield, IL. Sounds like terror plots are ramping up, and in Middle America to boot.
