George Soros Is Lobbying Lawmakers To Take Your Guns Away

There is no other way to say it: politicians and the elitists are coming for your guns. If they can get them from you and convince you to turn them over willingly, they will do so with propaganda.  But don’t expect that to be the end of it.

Isn’t it ironic that in order to take away guns from non-violent people, violent people must use guns to do so?  It’s hard to believe this escapes the minds of far too many people on this earth. Soros and people in the ruling class certainly want all the control in every situation and it’s much easy to enslave an unarmed populace. This is nothing less than an attempt at complete domination over everyone they think is beneath them.

According to a report by the Free Beacon, liberal billionaire George Soros’s advocacy organizations are lobbying lawmakers on Capitol Hill to repeal an act protecting firearms manufacturers from liability for gun crimes including murder, disclosure forms show. The Open Society Policy Center is Soros’s D.C.-based 501(c)4 nonprofit that works on domestic and international advocacy and is affiliated with the much larger Open Society Foundations. The center has poured nearly $9 million into lobbying a range of issues so far this year.

Soros’ group moved into gun control advocacy and reported lobbying on “issues related to a bill to repeal the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act.” The Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA) was passed as a bulwark against frivolous lawsuits attempting to hold gun companies responsible for criminal acts committed by third parties—sometimes decades after the first legal sale of the firearm. The National Shooting Sports Foundation, the gun industry’s trade group, pushed to pass the bill in 2005. The group said the legal protections are necessary to keep gun control activists from bankrupting the industry through suits they believe have no legal standing.

“The National Shooting Sports Foundation worked with Congress to get the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act passed with broad bipartisan support and signed into law by President George W. Bush,” Mark Oliva, a spokesman for the group, told the Washington Free Beacon. “This law correctly protects the firearms industry against frivolous lawsuits that seek claims against manufacturers for the criminal misuse of a firearm. Those who commit crimes with a firearm are the ones who bear the responsibility for the horrific effects of their actions. The PLCAA ensures this is the case.”

Bankrupting the firearms industry with frivolous lawsuits is only one-way tyrants are attempting to disarm peopleThe U.S. is seeking to enstate a social credit score much like Communist China’s and it could very well be used to deny self-defense rights to people.  If you disagree with the political establishment, you won’t be allowed to own a gun.  That’s a slippery slope if ever there was one.

    https://www.shtfplan.com/headline-news/silicon-valley-is-building-a-chinese-style-social-credit-system_08262019

The PLCAA does not shield the firearms industry from traditional liability. Firearms companies can be sued for making or selling defective products. Remington recently settled a class-action suit related to defective triggers in their 700 bolt-action rifle.

Holding gun companies liable for crimes committed with guns is comparable to holding car companies liable for drunk drivers. “Seeking redress against a firearms manufacturer instead of the criminal is no different than a drunk-driving victim holding Ford responsible for that crime,” Olivia told the Free Beacon.

      1. I see Adam Schiff is behind this bill. No surprise.

Following your links back through the Free Beacon article to the disclosure form, I see they have spent 2.6 million dollars on lobbying issues in the first quarter of this year. I actually am in favor of 5 out of 9 things they lobbied for, according to the form.

        1. Remove US military from hostilities in Yemen that have not been authorized by Congress.
        2. Prohibit unauthorized military action in Venezuela.
        3.Repeal the AUMF.
        4. DoD appropriations
        5. NDAA

IMO these five seem to be pretty good efforts, right or left…unless you are a warmongering neocon.

        • JRS,
I agree with you on #1 and #2.
          The rest no way!
You should spell out what you are against.
AMUF – Authorization for Use of Military Force against Terrorists.
NDAA – National Defense Authorization Act.
If you want to drop your pants and bend over to let everybody “Eff” you that is your business, but for national defense I do not compromise. I’m a Vet. I worked in the business. It is not perfect, but that is because we allowed it to be politicized, and that is repairable.

As much as I’d like to see it, a nuke set off in NYC or LA is not acceptable.
Your suggestions invite that sort of attack.
Ever play Chess? A weak offense invites defeat most every time. A strong defense yields stalemates or defeat.
Strong offense is our best defense.

Maybe that is plan? In recent years North Texas has witnessed::
                * – 911 systems in Dallas/North Texas area have quit working for periods of time.
                * – Massive cell phone outages in North Texas.
                * – Massive internet outages. Entire community outage.
                * – Emergency sirens going blacked out non functional.
There was recent electrical outage in co workers neighborhood.
(Maybe the gov is testing to isolate communities, isolate blocks, isolate neighborhoods.)
Are these things occuring in your area?

Of course there where “official” excuses for all the above. But does the government or corporations ever tell the truth? Their game is deception-lies-propaganda-false flags-false narratives. The government now considers the American people the enemy.

                The government will:
                * Kill electrical service.
                * Kill cell phone service.
                * Kill internet service.
                * Block off road access.
                * Make up some excuse like a “Natural Gas” Leak. Or made up “police incident”.
                * Then come the helicopters with FLIR
                * Events likely to occur between 2am to 5am. Just like any other spec op playdate party. And YOU are what’s for dinner.

When you see these things. Lock and Load. Break the perimeter. The Stasi are coming. Will it be US or Foriegn troops the NWO commies like Beto had shipped in?
                Is this US Government?
Is it a Foriegn power that has infiltrated a porus US border with no security?

Do not allow them take you out quietly.

        • 1968: The Gun Control Act of 1968 comes from Jewish Rep. Emanuel Celler’s House bill H.R. 17735. It expands legislation already attempted by the non-Jewish Sen. Thomas Dodd. America’s biggest and most far-reaching gun law came from a Jew.
1988: Senate bill S. 1523 is sponsored by Jewish Senator Howard Metzenbaum. It proposes legislation turning every violation of the Gun Control Act of 1968 into a RICO predicate offense, allowing a gun owner to be charged with federal racketeering offenses.
          1988: Senator Metzenbaum co-sponsors a bill — S. 2180 — to ban, or limit/restrict, so-called “plastic guns.”
1990: Jewish Senator Herbert Kohl introduces bill S.2070, the Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990, which bans gun possession in a school zone. The law will later be struck down in court as unconstitutional.
1993: Senate bill S.653 is sponsored by Sen. Howard Metzenbaum. It bans specific semiautomatic rifles, but also gives the Secretary of the Treasury the power to add any semiautomatic firearm to the list at a later date.
February, 1994: The Brady Law, which requires waiting periods to buy handguns, becomes effective. Senator Metzenbaum wrote the Brady Bill. Metzenbaum sponsored the bill in the Senate. The sponsor of the bill in the House was Jewish Rep. Charles Schumer.
1994: Senator Metzenbaum introduces S.1878, the Gun Violence Prevention Act of 1994, aka “Brady II.” Rep. Schumer sponsored “Brady II” sister legislation [H.R. 1321] in the U.S. House of Representatives.
September, 1994: The Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 goes into effect, including a provision that bans the manufacture and possession of semiautomatic rifles described as “assault weapons.” [Note: true assault weapons are fully automatic, not semiautomatic]. That gun-ban provision was authored in the Senate by Jewish Senator Dianne Feinstein and authored in the House by Congressman Schumer.
1995: Jewish Senators Kohl, Specter, Feinstein, Lautenberg and others introduce the Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1995, an amended version of the 1990 school-zone law which was struck down in court as being unconstitutional.
February 1995: Sen. Dianne Feinstein announces her goal of “…an outright ban [of all firearms], picking up every one of them — Mr. and Mrs. America turn ’em all in.…”
September, 1996: The Lautenberg Domestic Confiscation provision becomes law. It is part of a larger omnibus appropriations bill. It was sponsored by Jewish Senator Frank Lautenberg. It bans people convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence from ever owning a gun.
1997: Senate bill S. 54, the Federal Gang Violence Act of 1997, proposes much harsher sentences for people violating minor gun laws, including mandatory prison sentences and forfeiture of property. It was introduced by Dianne Feinstein and a non-Jewish Senator [Hatch], among others. It returns the idea of turning every violation of the Gun Control Act of 1968 into a RICO predicate offense.
January, 1999: Jewish Senator Barbara Boxer introduces bill S.193, the American Handgun Standards Act of 1999.
January, 1999: Senator Kohl introduces bill S.149, the Child Safety Lock Act of 1999. It would to require a child safety lock in connection with transfer of a handgun.
February, 1999: Senator Frank Lautenberg introduces bill S.407, the Stop Gun Trafficking Act of 1999.
February, 1999: Senator Lautenberg introduces S.443, the Gun Show Accountability Act of 1999.

January, 2001: Senate bill S.25, Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2001, is sponsored by Feinstein, Schumer, and Boxer. It is a nation-wide gun registration plan [apparently there were two versions of that Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act bill].
May, 2003: Senators Feinstein, Schumer, Boxer and others introduce legislation that would reauthorize the 1994 federal assault weapons ban, and, close a loophole in the law that allows large-capacity ammunition magazines to be imported into the U.S. The ban is scheduled to expire in September, 2004.
October, 2003: Senators Feinstein, Lautenberg, Levin [also Jewish] and Schumer co-sponsor bill S.1774, designed to stop the sunset [ending] of the Undetectable Firearms Act of 1988.

July, 2005: Senator Barbara Boxer introduces bill S.A.1633 – BATFE Safety Standards. This amendment allows law suits to continue/be brought if the product did not meet the safety standards as defined by the BATFE.
July, 2005: Senator Barbara Boxer introduces bill S.A.1634 – ‘Sporting Use’ on Domestic Handguns. Applying ’sporting use’ clause requirements to domestic handguns could, almost completely, dry up the handgun availability in the United States.
November 2017: Senator Dianne Feinstein introduces “Assault Weapon Ban of 2017,” S. 2095, the most far-reaching gun gun ban ever introduced in the US Knesset…er, Congress. Terrorists abroad are mostly a creation of CIA covert operations …like ISIS and the precursor to al-caida, the Mujihadeen.

BOO…there’s a terrist behind that tree.

The NDAA contains provisions (sec 1021) that allows the government to take any American citizen by force and ship him to a black site with no due process and keep him there forever. It needs repealed.

As far as the DoD lobbying, I admit I don’t really know what they were lobbying on, but I’m sure it wasn’t to increase DoD appropriations, and I’m all in favor of stopping the constant increases in military spending, closing bases, and bringing the troops home.

          WTC #7

          h ttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mamvq7LWqRU

A research team at the University of Alaska’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, led by Dr. Leroy Hulsey, Dr. Zhili Quan, and Professor Feng Xiao, Department of Civil Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, released yesterday for public comment their findings from a four-year study of the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7 on September 11, 2001.

“The principal conclusion of our study is that fire did not cause the collapse of WTC 7 on 9/11, contrary to the conclusions of NIST and private engineering firms that studied the collapse. The secondary conclusion of our study is that the collapse of WTC 7 was a global failure involving the near-simultaneous failure of every column in the building.”

          • Watched them both. Yep, that’s a 9/11 red pill. Most people won’t take it.

          • WTC #7 struck me as grossly suspicious from the start. When you learn there was a major gold depository underneath it that was found empty; well that just adds the exclamation point.

          • problem is people confuse the demolition of building 7 with the impacts on 1 and 2.

        • Edit to the NDAA…I was speaking about NDAA 2012, so, yea, I guess I really have no problem to the NDAA 2019 since I don’t know what it contains. I do know section 1021 of NDAA 2019 is not about arrest without due process. My mistake.
          ————————–

Kevin, thanks for that info. I need to check it out.

Paul Craig Roberts has the story of the above at his site.

“None are so blind as those who will not see”. Willfully ignoring information because one doesn’t like what it may prove is the second greatest cause of ignorance. The first is just being intellectually lazy as thinking requires effort.

        • JRS,
If people would simply read the Patriot Act, and the NDAA and ask themselves “what does that mean” while reading it may open their eyes to the slavery sheeple we are. NDAa authorizes the govt to own the very rain falling out of the sky even a mud puddle. So the God granted natural resources provided are that which can get you arrested. If the govt says you must drink govt provided water and you open your mouths to the sky when it is raining you go to jail. They want that chemical in their provided water down your belly to force compliance. Read it and get pissed off. And George Bush did this so wake up people. Govt is not your friend on either side!

      4. i like when diblasio says they are gonna buy back assault weapons and go after the hold outs. cant wait to see how that goes over. if the democraps really believe this what are they waiting for do it now. they are full of crap. they have no power other than what we the people give them. the gov has the $ to buy back all these guns just to destroy them. seems to me they could use that $ better ways. who would sell their $500 or more ar15 for a $100 walmart gift card. they certainly arent gonna give people what they paid for them. the holdouts guns will be worth much more than what they cost at time of purchase. none of what the demons propose makes any sense at all. gun buybacks are a joke they only get junk off of people who realize a$100 gift card is better than a busted old low capacity gun. they arent the criminals so no guns are taken off the street. nothing they do impacts criminals from getting guns just good folks. cant believe people fall for this con.

      5. In Australia they are putting the heat on handgun owners to give them up, especially farmers ,and storage Regulations on anyone owning more than 30 guns

      6. Soros name is so closely identified with globalists that its assumed by many that he is the leader of the endeavor. Soros is just the front man who is meant to be in the news taking center stage. The cabal is large and encompasses Finance / Banking, Business, Media, Politics and it has made surprising inroads into religion as one can infer by statements of the Vatican. Their goal is to control and mold the world to their liking. If it makes the news they’re likely involved.

        • The Catholic Church (not Catholics individually, but the hierarchy in the Vatican) has never been especially Christian but it has taken an evil turn with the current Pope. He is an ardent Marxist and his incredibly unlikely rise through the ranks is eerily similar to Barry Sotero’s. Yes, there are powerful forces at work behind the scenes and I don’t believe that, ultimately, they are human.
          FWIW.

          • At that level it’s reptillian.

      7. Some great comments above. Nice to see an article generate some buzz around here.

I would add that the Libs with their open borders are VERY close to turning Texas blue (article at Drudge today). When that happens, this “Republic” is officially screwed. George Soros and his cronies will own the government and gun confiscation won’t be far behind. Over the years everyone posting on here has said they’ll never turn them in and I believe you all. Well, I’m guessing in the next few years we’ll get to find out how many of our fellow gun owners will act similarly.

        Time for a Scotch,
        Chuck

      8. Daily Dangers are real:
        1. Distracted drivers on cell phones are dangerous.
        2. Drunk drivers can be dangerous. If you drink. Ride a horse to the bar. The horse can get you back home safely. He knows the way. BTW: Dad lived to be 89. FYI: Fell off the horse while sober, broke his hip, died two weeks later. No we didn’t call for new laws against Horses.
        3. Fast Food and processed food is dangerous.
        4. Sedentary Lifestyle is dangerous. Get moving.
        5. Pot Holes/Junk/Furniture/Appliances, on roadway is dangerous. They nearly killed family. 75mph at night and refrigerator on road, had been hit several times prior. Situation called in to 911. Was still there the following day on way to work. Your tax dollars not at work.
        6. Speeding drivers are very dangerous.
        7. Young mothers distracted, driving fast, turned around yelling at children in back seat are dangerous.
        8. Fast Food eaters while driving are dangerous. Dipping fries in ketchup while in a hurry driving 80mph. Idiots.
        9. Government is extremely dangerous. Look at history. Governments kill MILLIONS.

Constitution 2nd is not about hunting. 2nd is about self defense against Tyrants and criminals.

The above are much more Daily Dangers than a mentally ill goof.
Mentally ill people doing stupid things are much less frequent. Less dangerous. Get your concealed carry and this danger is much less.

        A. There are enough gun laws. Murder is illegal. So what else needs to be said?
        B. Censorship and the War on Free Speech is Very Dangerous.

At the Ballot Box punish gun grabbers. Fire fear mongers pushing a false narrative.

      9. Great Article Mac, kudos.

      10. I would like to publicly offer to sell my firearms to the federal government. I will accept 1.75 Billion US dollars per semi auto rifle. Hand guns will go for 1.25 Billion US dollars. Plus tax. That should be about enough for me to get the F@%K out
of this place before you F@%#kING democrats finish destroying
America. Also I have some $1,000 dollar left handed screwdrivers for sale along with some $850 dollar toilet seats.

        • Anon that is a steal! The GAO says the govt pays double that now. Of course if they buy your stuff many of our elected leaders families who own the businesses that the govt buys all their crap from might be upset, just sayin
