Every day hundreds of thousands of travelers are subjected to long lines and intrusive screenings by the Transportation Security Administration. Under the pretext of protecting Americans from terrorists the TSA, an agency which has never actually captured a terrorist in its ten year history, has spent billions of dollars on what they claim is a necessity in today’s dangerous world.
But with all the money being spent and a government control grid being implemented across the entire country, a cross-dressing fence jumper somehow managed to thwart a multi-million dollar impenetrable external perimeter defense system at Newark airport.
The Port Authority’s pricy perimeter-protection system failed again Wednesday when it failed to detect that a man — dressed as woman — had hopped a fence at Newark Airport and wandered across two runways…
Newark’s Perimeter Intrusion Detection System should have alerted officials to Bryant’s presence long before he took his turn on the runway — but the $300 million-plus system flunked.
“The [PIDS] cameras were operating and he was not detected by the PIDS system,” a source said.

They could easily have approached aircraft under the cover of darkness, attached improvised explosive devices to airplanes, and detonated those devices once the planes were filled with passengers.
Curiously, while every American living inside of the United States is being constantly monitored and tracked, millions of illegal aliens every year jump the impenetrable fence down at our southern border, entering our country without documentation or knowledge of their whereabouts once they get here.
It seems that none of these state-of-the-art fences, or the billions of dollars being spent on building and staffing them, do what they are intended to do.
This is yet another example of why all of the security procedures being implemented by the Department of Homeland Security and their sub-agencies are highly suspect, suggesting that the goal of these regulations is not to protect Americans, but to control them.

Same thing happened at Kennedy a couple of years ago where a jet skier who broke down in Jamaica Bay and came ashore at Kennedy scaled the airport fence and actually made it all the way into one of the terminals where he was only caught after he asked for help. All I can say is that anyone who has body contact with the water of Jamaica Bay is suspect anyway. A few months ago, I stumbled across a website that I forgot to bookmark – and they were selling boxes that were about the size of a cell phone and which they claimed could be used as a storage container which would block all GPS tracking and all attempts to hack into the phone from a remote location. The cell phone had to be inside the box, naturally. These protective boxes were a little expensive – about $100 at the time, and they came in various sizes which were supposed to accommodate the various makes and models of the most common cell phones on the market.
If anyone has that link, please share it with the SHTF reading community. I’ll try to look for it and see if I can find it again.
I happen to despise cell phones and now that its fairly common knowledge that these evil SOBs up at the NSA can use them to track people and even use these drones to target their missiles based on the coordinates picked up by a cell phone emitting a signal – these gadgets are becoming a guaranteed death sentence for anyone who’s got one on their person. Plus, when those missiles strike – if you’re in the vicinity of the guy who they are targeting, you’re a dead duck, too.
We need to wean ourselves off these cell phones.

All signals will conduct around the outside of the foil, you won’t be able t recieve calls either but they won’t be able to track it untill you take it out. These can also be used to protect electronic devices from EMP, a metal garbage bin stored on the ground.

I think ultimately the surveillance grid will prove to be totally useless. The CCTV cameras, for example, do nothing to reduce crime. all you can hope for from those is to make a positive ID of a suspect. If a $300,000,000 fence can be defeated, think of what else in the system can also be defeated. Had that fence been electrified, NO WAY that person would’ve made it over the fence. that’s the ONLY way that fence would’ve worked. Apparently that was extra money SOMEBODY didn’t want to spend. Also, the scanners, cameras, etc. depend on electricity to operate. If there’s any power failure [EMP, solar flare, cyber attack], unless there’s a backup power source in place, the electronic gizmos quit working. If we’re hit by an EMP, it’s been estimated that 90% of the population will be dead within 1 year. I do believe those who prep will make it all the way through or at least give it their best shot. I worked at ORD for 20 years. You don’t even want to know how weak security is there. 2 weeks after 9/11, I saw a guy on the south side of the airport standing by a fence in the cargo area. He was dressed in traditional Muslim garb. I called the police. It took 12 minutes for the police assigned to the airport to find the area and talk to the guy, they didn’t even take him into custody. The government forces airlines and the city to hire a diverse group of people. We had Muslims from the Kashmir working as unarmed security in our building. The security fence is a joke. Huge gaps under the gated areas. Kids got on the airport with their bikes and drove all over before being spotted. There is nothing on the southside of the airport to stop anyone from driving thru the fence. The TSA stuff is there to make you “feel” safe. This is what happens when politicians are in charge of stuff they shouldn’t be allowed to play with.
I know I for one, don’t feel “safer” with some jackass sticking his/her hands in my crotch and the rest of my body.
I don’t feel “safer” being forced to strip naked in front of people.
I don’t feel “safer” with a camera and microphone stuck in my face and up my ass every minute of every day.
I don’t feel “safer” with my TV and other appliances watching me in my own home.

Consider vermin, pestilence and disease control once more. Do you have a room in your home to use as a quarantine area? This is especially important if you have elderly, immune compromised or babies in your group. Traditionally typhus and cholera take more lives than bullets during any kind of civil unrest.
If you are intending to do a first aid, bee keeping or mechanics course then sign yourself up asap. The opportunity may not still be there the year after next.
Home defence – take some time to look again at the people around you. If you have an alcoholic brother in law, then this is the time to start distancing yourself so that he cannot blab your OPSEC secrets at the most inopportune time in the future, putting your wife at risk from gangbangers. If you’ve noticed that guy down the street has amazing metal work skills then now is the time to suss out his integrity and befriend him a little. If you live in a subdivision, then find out who and what your neighbours are before it is too late.
Don’t panic, just plod away steadily at your prepping. Every new skill learnt, or seed variety saved increases your chances.
Poverty has always been the mother of invention and desperation always increases the innate creativity the elite have tried to suck out of our souls. I personally do not believe it will be the millionaires with doomsday bunkers who will come out the other side smiling. A sharp mind and a good work ethic will be of more use in the coming years. If a bunch of illiterate goat herders can beat the elite then so can we.
The storms here in the UK have highlighted the stress a single loose roof tile can cause. My new years prepping resolution is to take that old saying “for want of a nail” seriously for once.
I’m not going to go and spend a fortune on “stuff”, but instead go back to basics and double check everything with a fine tooth comb while we still can. For me that means starting with a red dye test on my water filter cartridges and quite a bit of home maintenance as we relocated just a couple of months ago.

The storms here in the UK have highlighted the stress a single loose roof tile can cause. My new years prepping resolution is to take that old saying “for want of a nail” seriously for once.

This article bothers me for one reason. The freedoms we have given up in the name of security. We get groped and paraded through body scanners for so called security. What a joke.
If they cared about security then all Muslims would get screened. Muslims are the ones that have attacked our embassies, our navy ships, and used plains on 9/11. Not anyone else. Why can’t we profile them. I am sorry to any decent Muslims that read this. If it were about security then that is what we would be doing.
In the name of security we now have given the government several rights.
1 – Monitor our phone calls
2 – Monitor our computers
3 – Monitor our bank accounts
4 – The right to invade our homes if terrorism is suspected.
5 – Grope us at air ports
6 – Run us through body scanners at our ports
7 – Drones in our skies
8 – Tougher rules for what we can fly or go across borders with.
All this in the name of security. I am not sure if there is more. Probably in the patriot act. Yet we have guys that fly to Chechnya and come back and bomb Boston. We have several cases like the shoe bomber or the guy who had a bomb in his underwear. All Muslims not caught. We have illegal aliens crossing our borders daily. No one cares about anyone that illegally crosses the border from our south. Nuclear, biological, or chemical weapons could easily be snuck in through our southern border.
Does anyone think this sounds like security. There is no way that this has anything to do with security.

They have projected that 1 9.25 in size in the Aleutian Islands was requaired to generate a big enough tsunami to reach a certain point in Hawaii. The precursor earthquakes still point to the Aleutian Islands as one of the danger areas for the past 2 months. The Aleutian Islands is one of five or so points on the planet that you can have a super mega earthquake that is in the high 9 range. The last mega quake of at least 9.25 last occurred between 1424 and 1660. These earthquakes large enough to trigger these type of tsunamis occur every 325 years. It has been at least 354 years since the last one. Overdue to severely overdue. Not a bad article for AccuWeather to put on.

One way to practice thinking clearly in stressful situations is to do just that, practice it when you are under pressure. The next time you’re nervous about a teen coming home late, or your boss chewing your butt, or whatever, play the “what if game”.
“What if an earth quake hit right now?”
“What if a terrorist attack happened right now?”
“What if I lost my job?”
Think these mental scenarios through and make detailed plans… this not only teaches you to think under pressure, but it allows you to take your mind off a current problem that you can’t do much about.
Once you start getting a handle on thinking under pressure, then learn to “think out of the box”
A recent Newspaper article lamented the death of a woman that was the victim of a home break in. She lived in a mobile home and heard the break in occurring. She had obviously retreated to a small windowless bathroom and, being “trapped” in there, she tried to hide… she was raped and killed.
This was a mobile home, not Fort Knox. She was separated from freedom by some thin sheetrock, a layer of fiberglass insulation, and some vinyl siding… one good kick to the inner wall would have created an instant escape route to the outside, but in her mind it was a wall, and that was that.
As silly as it sounds, another man was robbed in his home by a club wielding attacker… when asked about the shotgun in his bedroom, he said it was for “Hunting”.. DUH!
Yet another man was stopped in his car at an intersection by a group of “kids” with baseball bats in a bigger city. They beat him almost to death… He was sitting in a 4000 pound weapon, simply hitting the gas would have stopped that attack at the onset. To him it was “just a car”, not a weapon.
How ’bout the man found frozen to death in his car during a snow storm last year? Why not cut the car seats up and use them for body insulation?
Learn to think “Out of the box”. Is a wall really a wall? During your “What if” scenarios, look around at what is available to you and find creative uses for it.
