500,000 Fewer Jobs Were Created In The U.S. Than Previously Reported

The United States has created half a million fewer jobs than the government previously reported. The economy had about 501,000 fewer jobs as of March 2019 than the Bureau of Labor Statistics initially calculated in its survey of business establishments. That’s the largest revision since the waning stages of the Great Recession in 2009.

The economic situation the U.S. has found itself in is one of complete lunacy. The government put out numbers that were wildly inaccurate, and anyone living on Main Street, not Wall Street could sense that something wasn’t right. While being told the economy is still great, the mainstream media is also finally admitting that a recession might actually happen so they can blame it on Donald Trump. But the problems have been on the surface for a long time, they have only now when they’ve chosen to start warning people because of the upcoming 2020 elections.

I’ve been warning people about the dire situation of the U.S. economy and the dollar for a while now, and it’s not being done to prevent Trump’s reelection. People should prepare themselves and understand what they will need to do financially in order to get through the next high manipulated economic crisis.

How to Prepare for an Economic Depression

These numbers signal that the economy is weaker than previously believed and they could give the Federal Reserve even greater reason to cut interest rates in September, according to a report by Market Watch. “This makes some sense, as the 223,000 average monthly increase in 2018 seemed too good to be true in light of how tight the labor market has become and how much trouble firms are said to be having finding qualified workers,” said chief economist Stephen Stanley of Amherst Pierpont Securities.

The average 223,000 monthly increase in employment in 2018 — the strongest in three years — could be trimmed to 180,000 to 185,000, economists estimate.

Fewer jobs were created in restaurants, hotels, retailers and professional business services. Leisure and hospitality employment was reduced by 175,000, business services by 163,000 and retail by 146,400. –Market Watch

      1. It’s not the number but rather the quality of jobs. We knew in HS almost 45 years ago that we were absolutely certain that within 5 years of graduation we would all be working at Mobil, Texaco, BP, Sunoco, DuPont, Shell, Hercules, Monsanto or BF Goodrich. The sum of those jobs was easy 50,000, now it’s about 1000 and they’re holding on for dear life.

        • K2,
I’ll bet those were all union jobs that you refer to.
Full disclosure; most my working life I was a union member,
not by choice but by “go along to get along”
          UAW, ILWU, et al.
          I don’t trust government numbers. CPI , Un-employment,
CBO budgets, et al are “cherry picked” to make things look better than they really are. They are developed by Democrat government employees and appointees, to benefit the government that employs them.
The jobs “created” are probably shiite jobs. They don’t want to admit that “good jobs” require skills that fewer and fewer people in America have or can learn. Automation has and will cut down on the number of lower skilled workers needed.
Bottom line, intelligent people get work and will succeed.
The many more numerous, lower intelligence but clever people will become Democrats doing service and make work jobs.
The tyranny of Democracy, the inmates run the asylum, by popular vote.

          • I think this is mostly true. Not many see these truths.

          • The DuPont facilities had in house unions all independent as was Mobil. Shell was non union as was Monsanto with Hercules being in house independent too. Those facilities did not have labor troubles and paid what was a livable wage. When they could no longer pollute at will, post clean air / water act and certainly post Bhopal India Union Carbide they fled to an exploitable workforce. Oil stayed longer than Chemical. Interestingly “in the day” as they were there starting in 1880 the ecological damage was immense. We trapped muskrats for their pelts, many had tumors. We would come across literally a lagoon of unknown origin behind one the the plants that had shrunk in size that the marsh too back.

        • Wow, you said Hercules, who even knows about this company…… I woke to the sound of thunder one morning, the sky was blue, I told the wife the house was just settling, I knew better. It was the local Hercules plant exploding. At twenty miles it rattled my windows. At five mile it cracked Windows. The plant was built in a valley that sent the shockwave up and away from us, or even at 20 miles it would have killed us. Crazy.

          • I heard one morning an explosion. It was the Thiokol/Reaction Motors plant testing a rocket engine. It was loud, even at 30 miles. Ahhhhhh the 60’s.

          • There was a strike once at the nearby Hercules plant, striking workers had salted the powder mills with tiny undetectable amounts of Quartz sand. The whole place would have exploded if management had turned on the equipment. Amazing how crazy people can be.

            • There were three Dupont plants along the Delaware river within 20 miles. Hercules was next to one. The Hercules plant was toxic ‘virtually” closed down. It’s so polluted that they will not close it because they then have to bring it back to what it was. All they have to do is contain it now. He has 35 employees or thereabouts. The DuPont plant started with dynamite in 1880 until 1955. LeMont DuPont was killed there the only member of their family to receive such a fate. The plant finally folded up in the 1990s. They made nitric acid at the end. One made smokeless gunpowder and it killed 9 in the late 1960s. It was located in the home town of actor Bruce Wills. A classmates father was one of them, they found his finger, checked the print from military records. He likely never knew what hit him. The third was a cancer pit with 600 cases of bladder cancer alone out of a workforce of 10,000 at peak. The rest of the cancers were rampant far exceeding the averages expected. All of this was shipped off to the developing world. Interestingly the oil refineries were the least polluting and safest both acute and chronic.

      2. As long as the carbohydrates for the obese are subsidized to the farmer [and/or entitlements to the unemployable consumer] , and energy/oil are cheap [again, majority of the cost is on the taxpayer via subsidies and/or entitlement to those that don’t deserve anything], this party of infinite monetary debt expansion will proceed and could amaze everyone once the national debt surpasses $1 quadrillion.

        Future world
DOW 100k, S&P 20k, $50T national debt, $1T spent annually treating 150 million obese, gold $3.50 oz, silver you pay them to take it off your hands.

      3. there is no shortage of jobs just a shortage of pay.

      4. All of the empty boxes on the j ob a pp, that any sane person would be afraid to check, actually represent a g ovt s ubsidy, p aying the nationalized b usiness to h ire you, based on your diseases and social impediments. Their model is to collect human wreckage. That is all. Everything else is a stage prop, so help me God.

One of my Boomer parents’ friends must have hit the j ackpot — a spastic, blind, diabetic, deaf retard, with bad knees and back, on medication not to have seizures, says he mainly makes messes of the city buses, and someone takes the parts away. But, is well-built, after so many patches. Was not able to solve basic logic problems, in my polite, tolerant, light conversation (before I stepped outside for lots and lots of fresh air.) Like a humanoid form, just intended for brute labor.

Outwardly-impeccable, morally-blameless daughter was a couple fries short of a Happy Meal. See her, and you won’t feel Hitlerian!

Noone with a basic curiosity of his surroundings will have believed in govt makework, much past middleschool age.

Also, I’m sorry. Literally, sorry. But, that cannot go on endlessly, for countless generations. Even if it was a farm animal, housepet, or plant, with no moral baggage. I’m sorry. That can’t work.

(Beautiful girl, like in movies of bimbos and cave women.)

Dad thinks that he is thinking. Political. Past a certain point, I couldn’t even be angry. Just really needed to be somewhere else, so help me. You give these people posts, houses, cars, responsibility over something dangerous, asking, will there be a recession someday soon? When is communism too late? (Before you were born.)

When the g ovt makes j obs, may God have mercy on the sane and deserving. Really, seriously not using his name in vain, here. People who are not situationally aware should be fed and clothed (if you can part with it), helped to cross the street, not empowered to lecture us.

      5. Every citizen should question why America allows over 1 million legal immigrants in yearly along with the untold illegals when there are not enough jobs?
        It’s crazy.
My factory in Kentucky is about a fourth Hispanic already and many Asians. These jobs start around $17 an hour not real bad for the area. So yes Hispanics do take other jobs besides roofing and farming.
