After the Collapse: Six Likely Events That Will Follow an Economic Crash

It’s not too difficult to understand that we are well on our way to a paradigm shift in America; in fact we’re in the midst of it right now. The writing is on the wall and can no longer be ignored.

The US government has run up trillions of dollars in debt, and given the recent debates over the country’s debt ceiling, we can rest assured that neither Congress or the President will act to curtail spending and balance the budget. We will continue adding trillions of dollars to the national debt clock until such time that our creditors no longer lend us money.

From the monetary side, the Federal Reserve’s response to this unprecedented crisis has been to simply “print” more money as is necessary. On top of the trillions in dollars already printed thus far, the Fed continues quantitative easing to the tune of about $80 billion per month. It’s the only arrow left in the Fed’s quiver, because failing to inject these billions into stock markets and banks will lead to an almost instant collapse of the U.S. financial system. Unfortunately, the current strategy is chock full of its own pitfalls, the least of which being the real possibility of a hyperinflationary environment developing over coming months and years.

On Main Street, average Americans have seen their wealth decimated. They’ve lost millions of jobs and homes over the course of the last five years. And if recent reports are any indication, the destruction of the middle class will continue unabated for years to come. The resulting effect is a vicious negative feedback loop that continues to build upon itself. Americans no longer have money (or credit) to spend to prop up the economy, thus more jobs will be lost, leading to more people requiring government assistance for everything from food to shelter.

We are, on every level, facing a collapse of unprecedented scale.

As noted by International Man Jeff Thomas of Casey Research, it’s not that difficult of an exercise to predict what’s coming next:

The number of people whose eyes have been opened seems to be growing, and many of them are asking what the collapse will look like as it unfolds. What will the symptoms be?

Well, the primary events are fairly predictable: they would include major collapses in the bond and stock markets and possible sudden deflation (primarily of assets), followed by dramatic inflation, if not hyperinflation (primarily of commodities), followed by a crash of several major currencies, particularly the euro and the US dollar.

We know a collapse is coming… If you’re paying attention you probably have the distinct feeling that we are in the middle of it right now. And guess what? The government and military know it’s coming too, as evidenced by large-scale simulations of exactly such an event and its fallout.

But the collapse of our financial system, or hyperinflation of our currency, or a meltdown in US Treasuries is only the beginning. We know some or all of these events are all but a foregone conclusion.

What we don’t know is the timing of the trigger event that causes the global panic to ensue and what will happen after these primary events take hold.

According to Jeff Thomas, while we can’t know for sure, the following “secondary events” are the most likely outcomes when the system as we have come to know it destabilizes.

The secondary events will be less certain, but likely: increased unemployment, currency controls, protective tariffs, severe depression, etc.

But, along the way, there will be numerous surprises—actions taken by governments that may be as unprecedented as they would be unlawful. Why? Because, again, such actions are the norm when a government finds itself losing its grip over the people it perceives as its minions. Here are a few:

    • Travel Restrictions. This will begin with restrictions on foreign travel, including suspension/removal of passports. (This has begun in a small way in both the EU and US.) Later, travel restrictions will be extended within the boundaries of countries (highway checkpoints, etc.)
    • Confiscation of wealth. The EU has instituted the confiscation of bank accounts, which can be expected to become an international form of governmental theft. This does not automatically mean that other assets, such as precious metals and real estate will also be confiscated, but it does mean that the barrier for confiscation has been eliminated. There is therefore no reason to assume that any asset is safe from any government that approves theft through bail-ins.
    • Food Shortages. The food industry operates on very small profit margins and survives only as a result of quick payment of invoices. With dramatic inflation, marginal businesses (suppliers, wholesalers, and retailers) will fall by the wayside. The percentage of failing businesses will be dependent upon the duration and severity of the inflationary trend.
    • Squatters Rebellions. A dramatic increase in the number of home and business foreclosures will result in homelessness for anyone whose debt exceeds his ability to pay—even those who presently appear to be well-offAs numbers rise significantly, a new homeless class will be created amongst the former middle class. As they become more numerous, large scale ownership of property may give way to large scale “possession” of property.
    • Riots. These will likely happen spontaneously due to the above conditions, but if not, governments will create them to justify their desire for greater control of the masses.
    • Martial Law. The US has already prepared for this, with the passing of the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which many interpret as declaring the US to be a “battlefield.” The NDAA allows the suspension of habeas corpus, indefinite detention, and the assumption that any resident may be considered an enemy combatant. Similar legislation may be expected in other countries that perceive martial law as a solution to civil unrest.

The above list is purposely brief—a sampling of eventualities that, should they occur, will almost definitely come unannounced. As the decline unfolds, they will surely happen with greater frequency.

We could go point by point on this list and provide a plethora of evidence to validate Jeff’s claims, but that would take pages upon pages of references.

The fact is that the US government, for the last decade, has been moving increasingly closer to what can only be described as a police state. With watch lists, militarized police departments, legislative actions, and executive orders the government has already set the stage for these secondary events.

When the system itself is no longer able to support the tens of millions of Americans receiving monthly government assistance, one hiccup could set the whole thing ablaze.

While it can’t be avoided on a national scale, there are advance preparations that individuals and their families can make to, at the very least, insulate themselves from the secondary event triggers. This includes storing essential physical goods and keeping them in your possession. Things like long-term food supplies, barterable goods, monetary goods, self defense armaments and having a well thought out preparedness plan will, if nothing else, provide you with the means necessary to stay out of the way it all hits the fan.

      1. Howdy y’all. 🙂

Just wanted to make a comment on what I saw this weekend at Wally world.

I do the shopping for the home, so I know what the prices of things are that I buy or keep an eye on.

Well in the camping section I always look at the Coleman white gas. For years it’s been $9.97 per gallon.

This past week it jumped to $12.97 a gallon. That is a 30% increase in one week. Can y’all say WTF? 🙁

It was bad enough when the twin pack 1 lb. propane cylinders jumped about a buck fifty overnight a couple of months ago at china mart.

Mac is right, prices are going thru the roof or the package just keeps getting smaller.

I did pick up a great deal on Quaker Oats (18 oz.) for .83 cents each with a sale/coupon. Put away a bunch with Mylar and 02 eaters. 🙂

        Y’all play nice. 🙂

        • Did you hear about the McDonalds “Dollar Menu and More”? They redid the dollar menu and the McDouble jumped up to $1.19. A month or so later, it quietly increased again to $1.49. Everywhere you look, prices are high and portions are smaller. This country is on the road to hell.

          • Just you wait and see what produce and milk (Cal is a big dairy producer) does coming out of California with the current drought.

            • I may start using the advise from one blog/site…add powdered milk to fresh milk. Gene won’t use it for drinking, but I CAN use it for cooking.
I have buckets of powdered, cases of evaporated, and the little quart in cartons, so I’m good for a while.

              • Quit drinking that crap. Simple solution.

                • That’s what Hillary said to Monika.

                  • What did they really find in Monica Lewinski’s dress?

                    A wad of Bills…

                    AAAAAAAAAAAAA!

                  • Outstanding…ROFLMAO!!!

              • Get a couple of LaMancha Goats…milk is delicious as long as you keep the stinky male away from the female except to breed her….I would say now that you need a female that’s just given birth…now is the time of year there’s lots of new mommas. Don’t wait till it hits to try and find a milk supply…this is a learned art and we’ve been at it for 5 years now and just now getting experienced at it. My grandchildren will have milk.

                • gone2hilo

you’re right, goats are the way to go. I’ve seen Lamanchas and heard that they are a great breed. I have Nigerians. Get goats and have a sustainable milk supply. Make your own yogurt, cheese, buttermilk and butter. It’s not rocket science and your goats give back in the form of wonderful milk, companionship and fertilizer for the garden!

                  Country girl

                  • I like goats.

                  • I ain’t scared of no goats.

                  • Country girl…Goats are a great way to go. they eat very little…there-in lies the problem.
How will one feed them (then being you can not have just one as they are heard animals and will die alone) as you will not be able to go to the local feed store and pick-up the feed.
Few people have the property to “range feed” them. Good quality hay last winter shot over $7.00 a bale when one could find it.
On average one will feed a bale a day to a small reproductive heard. Do the math…6 small breed goats will cost about $100.00 per month at $3.00 a bale. not to mention other things such a veterinary bills if one has no experience with animals.
Milk production is not like going to the store. Every morning ya get up, (hand milk as you best be able to do not counting on electricity for milking)and expect this every day at 4am.
depending on the goat…a max of 1 pint to maybe a quart will be your reward. The milk will not keep past 2 days refrigerated. You will also need good shelter for them. You will need lots of straw for bedding. where will people store all the hay, straw and grain they need?
Where do they get it when it all comes apart?
                    The meat is excellent…but tough!!
Can you butcher your own “pets” as they will become?
Best figure on cots for all of them with maybe the exception for the Boer Goat. They can not handle the cold.
Just some thoughts on the basics of keeping animals.
Have had them for some time and its not all roses.
Oh…I can type, talk and walk…never claimed to be a English or Spelling major so don’t even start there.
For those high-brows…read the message being told and stuff the rest. Jim

                  • Does the taste of milk from different breeds vary? My wife is lactose intolerant but could not stand store bought goat’s milk. To me it was very strong tasting.

                  • our friends have Oberhasli adn swear they are the best?
I know their milk sure is good.

                • For all who have or want goats. Wonderful creatures, smart and personable. Make sure your fencing is either field fence or cattle panels. They WILL get out of anything less. Research your breeds to see what your are looking for ( meat, milk, mohair?) and have enough room in a barn to cover them all if it rains. goats will practically smother each other getting to a feed bin, or getting out of the rain. They will also climb angled trees, and if they slip and catch their head on a forked branch, can hang themselves. I’ve seen it happen. We helped start the Mid Atlantic Meat Goat and Lamb Cooperative many years ago, and this is what we learned. A great forum to learn on is [email protected]. . Hope that helps. I also used to have harness goats…

                • First thing starving people will go after is your goats- goat meat is delicious.
                  Don’t count on keeping them.

              • The finances and economies of the world are so interconnected.

The articles warn that a “WMP (a Chinese wealth management product) default could devastate the Chinese banking system and the larger economy as well.”

                • Dear Abby,

My husband has a long record of money problems. He runs up huge credit-card bills, and at the end of the month, if I try to pay them off, he shouts at me, saying I am stealing his money. He says pay the minimum…let our kids worry about the rest, but we can hardly keep up with the interest. Also, he has been so arrogant, and abusive toward our neighbors that most of them no longer speak to us. The few that do are an odd bunch, to whom he has been giving a lot of expensive gifts, running up our bills even more. He has also gotten religious. One week he hangs out with Catholics, the next with people who say the Pope is the Anti-Christ, and the next he’s with Muslims. Finally, he’s demanding that before anyone can be in the same room with him, they must sign a loyalty oath. It’s just so horribly creepy! Can you help?

                  Signed, Lost

                  Dear Lost,

Suck it up, and stop whining, Michelle. You’re getting to live in the White House for free, travel the world, and have others pay for everything. You can divorce the jerk anytime. The rest of us are stuck with him for 3 more years.

                  Abby

                • KY Mom.
Great what a “B” day present.
                  A.S.M.S.
                  Sgt.

                • Let it sink. Let it default. The collapse of a country of 2 billion communists— filthy, self-serving, deceitful, and untrustworthy — would be a gift to the free world.

Not to say that they won’t get very aggressive outside their borders as they collapse. They very well could, but even militaries have to eat before they can fight, and right now Communist China cannot feed itself, cannot provide sufficient potable water, and cannot breath the air in their capitol city.

They bluster ever more with each passing day. But truth be told, the Communist Party leaders, from Beijing to the villages, are scared. They know they are sitting on a kingdom of wobbling cards. They know the peasants vastly outnumber them, and they know the peasants despise them. The peasants despise them not because the peasants despise communism — the peasants are peasants because they lack cognitive ability — but because the peasants are constantly thrown off “their” land, denied all but the most primitive of living conditions, bullied and bossed at the point of a gun, and are starving. For now, the Party bosses have everyone buffaloed. But that situation has begun down a path that is marked by such things as this looming default — the first of what is certain to be many, many more blowups of various types.

Communist China made their bed — now, to the delight of every freedom-loving American, they will get to lie in it.

Enjoy some popcorn while you watch…

                  • “””The collapse of a country of 2 billion communists— filthy, self-serving, deceitful, and untrustworthy — would be a gift to the free world.”””

Do you know these 2 billion people? I bet they are the same as you and me. They want a peaceful existence without government interference.

They may be ruled by a bunch of “filthy, self-serving, deceitful, and untrustworthy” communists, but so is your “free” America. At least their filthy communists don’t kill millions of people based on deceit and outright lies.

And all you really know is what the US press says about China’s government. When they speak badly of something, it is based on what they want you to believe and not any facts or first hand knowledge.

In fact, had you not mentioned you were talking about China, your blurb could well have been about the United States corp and been every bit as accurate.

Quit judging people by the government that claims a false authority over them. It is not their fault and they are as hopelessly stuck under tyranny as you.

Why not wish to see 2 billion Chinese men and women rise up to throw off the communist banksters who stole their country just like they have ours. The banksters are modeling the “new” United States government after the Chinese model, at least where the people are concerned.

They will continue to use the US military to spread death and destruction throughout the world, preventing peace and freedom wherever they can.

If you can’t stop the banksters here, how can you expect the chinese people to stop them there? Why do you see them as inferior when their plight is the same as ours? Why fault them for not killing their beast when we can not kill ours either?

The Chinese people are no different than American people. We are all victims of the same group of criminals. Now that the USA has been destroyed, the banksters will move operations to China to pillage them for a century while they clean the country of free-America of “scum” like us.

It’s the people vs the banksters. What country they are in if of no significance. It’s a war for the world itself, and there are no borders the bankster enemy respects.

              • Nothing wrong with the half and half mixture of powder and whole. Grew up with it and it is not bad when cold and nothing lost in the nutritional value… Heard someone say to mix in a can of condensed milk but have never tried that.

                • People keep talking about milk, as if it is an essential dietary item for human beings. It is not. Although I love milk products, cheese and butter, and a little cream in my coffee, I can easily do without them and know full well that another animal’s milk is designed for its young. Bovine milk causes untold problems in the human digestive tract. I’ve heard goat enthusiasts say that is not so for that animal’s milk, however, it is still another animal’s milk and meant for its little ones; not us.

As for those inclined towards a vegan life style, my advice is; yes it is a good thing not to eat our animal friends. However, we are omnivorous for a reason. It is so that we can eat just about anything to live. That is one of the amazing design features of the human being; s/he can eat just about anything to stay alive. Well, for those who take on a totally vegan diet; and have done so for some length of time, eventually your bodies will not be able to handle meat digestion very well, if at all. When the SHTF and people may have to depend on snaring a rabbit, or perhaps a bird of some sort, in order to continue life; the vegans are going to fall quickly by the way side. Correct me if I am wrong in this, please. It is merely an opinion; I have not researched this vegan/meat idea, it just seems to make sense, knowing what I know of how the body seems to adapt itself to the circumstances you subject it to, eventually ‘learning,’ as in, ‘cementing its programming.’ When that happens, the ‘unlearning’ becomes difficult.

What do you think? Does that make sense?

As for the information what the manifestations will be when the SHTF, thanks for that, Mister Slavo. Yeah, you are correct; it is going to get ugly.

                  • BS! I’ve been drinking milk all my life and at 65, have NEVER had a problem. Did you know that the French get 85% of their fat calories from dairy?? (The Fat Fallacy)

You might want to download the PDF file: The Vegetarian Myth. It will open your eyes.

                  • Well, I gave up drinking milk for a year or two and then I couldn’t tolerate it at all. Upset tum, runs etc. It took me many months to slowly wean myself back onto it. Why, you ask? I love my rice bubbles that’s all!
Maybe it’s the same with meat and other stuff.

              • Jay Jay,
Try going to your local Dollar Tree store and look for the UHT milk…a quart for a buck….true that’s $4 a gal…but no refrig. needed… good for more than a year.

Additional factoid… over 70% of the world milk production is UHT…
                It’s got a nutty flavor… some would say burnt… 🙂

                • Awesome point Jerry t bag!

Also if the power goes out your milk will still be good!

                  • That’s an interesting take on my moniker…
Did you think that up all by yourself? And in typical fashion of the perceived school yard bully yours implies something that isn’t there…I digress.

                • Jezza is on the money here.
Stacking UHT milk is a good strat when you get it on special.
Pushing a trolley out of the store with 70 litres of milk in it and you have only parted with $69.30- you know you’ve done your milk shopping for the next couple of months.

                • Thank you for the advice. I have seen that at the Dollar Tree. Even if it taste bad its got to be good to cook with.

                  • I wouldn’t say it tastes bad. Milk-wise I’m exclusively drinking UHT.
At first ya do think “hmm taste not so same…” but ya quickly adjust until eventually it feels the norm. When we get out of this town house and make a break for a tree-change I will almost certainly look at getting one of those milking goats.

            • The solution, of course, is to buy a subscription from International Man, get a second passport, and a total Collapse Getaway from Casey in Argentina. That will make everything better!

Hyperinflation, riots, food shortages, a haircut on your savings, precious metals confiscation and a repressive government will never occur there; especially if you are a Gringo!!!

The solution to OUR economic woes are within US. Take to the streets or take the Green weenie in the ass. That is your choice. The NWO can be eliminated overnight and at 500 yards.

Kill the FED. Death to the New World order. Engage. 🙂

              • In my opinion, it will be ANOTHER event that brings about all these likely aftermaths, NOT THE ECONOMIC COLLAPSE ALONE, NO WAY. It might be the economy that causes the war, the false flags, the plague, whatever, but we as people will ONLY see the actual hard core physical events that occur because of it without even seeing the depression style misery of it personally.

People like RICH99 say that articles like this keep moving the goal posts, from 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, then 2014, 2015………. There is truth to this. It stems from the fact that the economy is a major reason for the true SHTF events, but the scenarioes played out for JUST an ecomonic depression bringing about the chaos alone won’t happen. Here’s why.

Money has no real hard currency to regulate it. This means that money CAN be manipulated all the way up to a quadrillion dollar debt or above. As long as someone is stupid enough to guarantee the bogus loans, this will continue to for many years.

The U.S. dollar is really the issue here. IF the U.S. dollar is under attack, the U.S. military will intervene just like all the previous empires that have lost their dollar value have done. It would be the economy that caused the war, but the end results would WAR.

China will continue to support the U.S. and U.S. dollar as long as the Chinese can continue to whore off their goods to the U.S. When China is ready they will call in the debt, results will be economic disaster, but the U.S. will again call to the military to save itself. Can anyone say Taiwan false flag. Maybe helping Japan claim the disputed islands with all that natural gas and oil reserves.

The whopping problems with these economic crash articles are that no one is taking them seriously anymore because the end results of an economic collapse will not be some depression in which people are walking around without food or anything, the trucks are not delivering, the infrastructure in disarray, etc. NO WAY. This is just not profitable from anyone’s point of view.

Even martial law would be brought about from something such as a widespread terrorist attack real or fake, a pandemic, war, natural diasters, something else than a sole economic collapse. Martial law NEEDS and MUST have fear to back it or the control factor is widely dimished. An economic collapse would not work with martial law because there is just not enough people in fear to back it up. Yes, control needs enough fear to keep the masses in check. A runaway virus, war, or some other threat would do this. An economic collapse ALONE, would be a disaster for those in control because people would be far more rebellous and less easy to control.

There are far too much talk about an economic collapse all over the internet, as people are losing interest because year drags into another year and another year and nothing is happening. The prepper/survivalist community is going wary of the lack of any of this manifesting itself year after year.

I say this ONLY because this is the new year, and even with the failure of the economy and debt, unless someone actually does something to rock the boat, the economy still has far too much wiggle room left. Oh yes, there is a ceiling and eventually it will be breached, eventually could be many years off. All the while the prepper/survivalist numbers are reduced from 1% to below 1%, and real dangerous threats such as Fukushima, war, viruses, solar EMP, terrorism, the threat to the 2nd Amendment and others brew like a cauldron.

I say this will no disrespect to Mac or the others that see what we all see with the economy, that unless there is an imminent economic collapse that will happen, we are losing interest in preparation for people when the goal posts are moved again and again back without even small indications of economic problems such as a sharp spike in precious metals, a large market correction, strong inflation. In other words something that the common prepper can grab on to and say look out we need to get into a higher gear. To many people the constant talk about economic collapse occurring and then 3-5 years later, NOTHING, is crying wolf. It could just be me, but this is having a detrimental effect on the prepper/survivalists being taken seriously that preparation is the ONLY way to survival. This is just my opinion, but I don’t want to hear anymore about economic collapse going into 2015 unless it is IMMINENT.

                • Maybe we could take the “greenie weenie” to them, and whip the poo out of the 535?

                  • @ eppe. 535 pieces of waste to the people and to themselves. I don’t like to come on like this, but people need something to show them that there is a danger to whatever threat there is. The solar EMP has several X-flares recently. The disease angle has many dead each year from the flu. The earthquake threat has Haiti, China, Pakistan, Japan, Indonesia and others. The tsunami threat has Fukushima and Indonesia. The terrorism, real or false flag has 9/11, all the time in other countries, and is still scary for many. War, well that has WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Middle East. Even super volcanoes we have Mt St.Helens, Pinatubo, and the fear of many other volcanoes. You get the idea.

An economic collapse, we have the Great Depression 70 years ago. Even with this event it didn’t bring about civil war. People suffered, but they pulled together. The 2008-09 near depression still brought suffering, lots of it and still is occurring. No civil war or other calamities that were physical big time SHTF level. So when you see the warnings of all this martial law and everything from it alone, and then it continues to not occur, there is naturally going to be much skeptical thinking about it. We all may wake up tomorrow morning or some future morning and martial law will be in full tilt. The real reason behind this could be completely economic reasons, yet the news being told to the public will be because of something that is far more believable and frightening, like a smallpox or air borne ebola, or war or something else occurring. The reason for martial law must be a lot more serious threat than JUST an ecomonic debacle to have enough people under the thumb of the state.

                  • What good would that do?? NONE!
They are just a slave as we are, just higher up the chain.

                  • BI, remember I am on your side, we have way too many things to worry about, in too many catagories.
But if we want to fix the problem, get to the ROOT of the problem. Eliminate the 535, and others, and maybe we could get this nation back on track. Hopeful wishing I know, but you know what I mean…

                  • EPPE:
I BRING MINE, AND I WILL MAKE MORE IF ANYONE WOULD WANT ONE!:-) LOL
JUST MIGHT TEACH THEM SOME MANNERS???????
                    S.T.S.F.P. N.R.N.S. N.REB

                  • The 535 is not the root as they answer to the corps that answer to the banks that answer to the fed that answer to the world bank and imf that answers to the BIS.

                  • The 535 may be a symptom rather than the root; but the 535 have the power to kill the root; and the people have the power to control the 535.

Organize, communicate, volunteer, donate, demonstrate, and vote for a Patriot if you can find one. If you cannot find one, be one.

100 million American gun owners hold the destiny of america in their hands. Engage. 🙂

                  • Not all of them need “whip the poo”! I know a couple of them personally. No, I mean I call them on their cell phone, play golf with their dads, eat lunch with their mothers, and see them at the holidays. Problem they have is they are not a majority. I wish it was that easy.

                • On the other hand, it makes it easier to talk to non-preppers about it.

                • Be informed,

I think that is what the govt. would like to see. The current system seems to do everything possible to keep the population distracted, entertained, pacified, drugged, dumbed down, etc. … anything but thinking for themselves.

Now is NOT the time to take our eyes off focus. I believe we are living on borrowed time. The market and financial manipulations can/will work for just so long.

                  • @ KY Mom. I never take my eyes off of the economy, as this could be what starts WW3. I though think it is hurting the prepper/survivalist community a lot when the goal posts are moved again and again to this is the year it will happen. I ONLY care about the prepper/survivalists of the world and those that choose to one day to prepare that they will survive. When I see so many stories and opinions that fail to occur and the constant crying wolf it bothers me because it hurts that 1% of people that do prepare. While the articles written about the economy have much truth in them, and are nothing in comparison to utter garbage like the Canary Islands myth, the time lines of such an economic collapse should not be attempted to be forecasted as imminent unless there is strong evidence it is coming soon.

This is why I am very careful about making earthquake forecasts within that 15 day window. I check over and over again past records to make sure that an earthquake of 6.5+ is coming, and the right locations. So far I have missed 6 or 7 out of about 55. This is called dependablity that when some forecast is made, there is a good chance that it will occur. This has to do with all aspects of live. The more predictions of an economic collapse that don’t occur, month after moth, year after year, the much less creditability it continues to gain over time. This hurts the prepper/survivalist community because the MSM and others focus HEAVILY on all that fails to manifest itself to make us all look as bad as possible.

This is what I am concerned about, the failure of said warnings to even occur on a small scale. In all fairness look at the lack of people that read these articles, because it has become news that is real to some, yet something that continue to always be tomorrow.

Now look at the articles about the 2nd Amendment violations, government abuse of the Constitution, terrorism, war, FEMA control, natural disasters, blackouts, preparation articles, etc. These articles garner high readership, WHY? Because they are actively happening, and people can see their rights being flushed right down the drain. They can see gun restrictions and the idiot anti-gunners trying to rape us of our right to self defense. These economic collapse articles are too vague for most people. All most people see is what is physically in front of them. People see nothing occurring in regards to the economy that is ready to implode. This is because those can juggle the numbers quite well because there is nothing tangible to hold those numbers accountable with.

So what happens? You have these reports of economic collapse being days, weeks, or months away, and it could be years away. I can look into past articles on Before Its News of all the predictions that 2011 was going to be the year for sure, then 2012, then proof positive that after BO was elected that 2013 was the last year of any economic cohension. Well it is Jan.20, 2014 and the economy is still floating along like a listing ship, but still nothing even close to being dire has occurred other than to the individual.

All the while people that are prepping are watching some of their preps go bad, after being told that 2013 was the year. Even the Syrian potential of war was there, the warships were ready. It fizzed out, but it still was high tension. The economic collapse potential has not even had that worrisome high tension let down phase. People are losing much interest in this. Like I said above, this country in the past 100 years has not had mass civil war or martial law hell from any economic collapse. So from a person’s point of view that might be considering prepping, how can they take the dangers of an economic collapse seriously as a mega SHTF, especially when the goal posts keep getting moved over and over again and the fear fails to show its head? There are far too many SHTF events that have recorded past events to back them up to be watered down by paper tigers. The economy will eventually become a real tiger, but when, 1 year, 5 years, 10 years?

                  • BI

It does not matter where the goal post is today, for me,
1 day, 1 year, or the rest of my life.

I continue to try and stay ahead of this “game”. I don’t buy the latest “I-crap”. I look for sales and pratice. Then practice some more. I like to learn. 🙂

Sometimes food goes bad. Sometimes we can help someone else with what we have. It has not changed in my life for the past almost 20 years now.

It does not matter how the things I put away are used. I still have can goods from Y2K. The Mrs. won’t touch some of them. But I bet a hungry neighbor won’t mind if that is all there is for them. It’s not spoiled, just ain’t, like fresh. 🙁

Look on the bright side brother…

We still enjoy hearing what you have to say.

                    Goodnight y’all. 🙂

                    hillbilly SC

                  • @BI,
Usually I agree with you, but: “Like I said above, this country in the past 100 years has not had mass civil war or martial law hell from any economic collapse.”????? WHAT?

I guess you conveniently overlooked the Great Depression of the late 1920’2 and into the 1930’s, WWII may not have involved martial law, but ask around and see what the WWII vets have to say about that time period. Maybe some of their family members can tell you about the rationing that happened, and the difficulties rationing caused.

                  • Be informed,

I understand what you are saying. All we can do is persevere.

I appreciate all your research and reports about earthquakes! You have an outstanding forecast record. A week or two warning about an earthquake could save many lives.
                    Thank you!

                  • @ Wilson. Even during the Great Depression the above descriptions of what would happen this time do not even come close to what happened back then. During WW2, this is WAR, a world war that throws the equation of an economic depression out the window. People were in very hard times, but the country as a whole did not cease to function. IF it did then the Germans and Japanese would have won the war because the U.S. would have been a total wreck incapable of defending anything.

What this articles says is that a second great depression will cause the country to stop functioning. This did not happen in the 1930’s. People were in sad conditions, but the country continued to function, not thrive, but function. There was no national martial law, no civil war type hell where everyone was gunning down their neighbors. The country went on badly, but nothing like the horrors described after a future economic collapse that many have an universal thought about. NO in the past 100 years the above descriptions are not even close to what has happened to this country. The rationing of the 30’s and WW2 is much exaggerated as compared to what would happen when BO decides to try to be king or true martial law begins because of a hard core SHTF event.

I am not saying that martial law is not in the cards for this country, I am only saying that it would not fly with an economic implosion. A deadly virus let loose by man or nature, you bet. Martial law is likely going to be from something real ugly, far worse than a depression.

                • B.I., I hear ya. I have been talking preparing for economic collapse since about 2009. My better half is fed up with hearing it because she will point to 4 Cartons of dried foods in the closet and ask, so, where’s your collapse? But what she doesn’t happen to realize is that for me, and many people like me who have not been able to replace a job, the collapse is on like DK here, and I’m learning new ways to make a pound of beef feed the both of us for two days. It’s good with beans & rice, and inexpesive. Don’t wait any longer folks. The collapse has started, it’s visited every home in USA in one form or another, and we’re all feeling the pinch, no matter how rosy our glasses are. Now, the next way point is going to be when world currencies are revalued. Those based on tangibles like gold, will do ok. Not so much for those that aren’t. Like USD. According to some, expect a 30% loss of buying power. I say, be ready for 50% or more. The end of cheap gold and silver looms ahead. Can’t say for sure when that’ll hit because the TBTF’s may still have some tricks up their sleeves to keep the manipulation going, but all bets are off when the dollar tanks and is no longer the vaunted reserve currency. Then SHTF, and they engage the after-burners…what a stink that will make! Still, the banks will weather the storm, but there will be way less of them. Next year, When Obama-Care kicks in fully, according to what Lindsey Williams has said, that’s when they pull the plug on the monetary system and we have martial law, false flags and other fun stuff going on. The saying is, “Don’t eat up your popcorn during the previews, save it for the movie. We’re about at the end of the previews reel.

                  • Be informed in the last depression we didnt have hoards, swarms and droves of welfare career moochers.
When dat EBT card wont buy a weeks worth of groceries due to hyper inflation watch out. When dat SSI disability check wont cover three days of electric and food again watch out. The career welfare moochers will be hollering gibbs me dat and there wont be any money to gibbs dem. Glad Im in the country with plenty of firepower. It will be interesting to see if cold and hunger can motivate a career welfare moocher to find work, or will they just commit crimes?

                  • We all heard about “iminent collapse” for so long that it really has gotten very long in the tooth. Whether it happens tomorrow or a century from now, everybody here knows that it’s coming and this is why we prep. Since the economic system does not offer anything but the illusion of prosperity in exchange for the priviledge of borrowing it into exsistance, the only real and sustainable way of living in this system of things, is to live way below your means, live simplified, minified, small, uncluttered, and debt free. Drive old but well maintained/rebuilt manual transmission vehicles, that have no power train control computers, and the obligatory spyware (think On-Star). Everywhere I go, in Alberta, there is massive construction going on in all sectors like roads, new housing, oilfield, etc. I often wonder how these people manage to sustain such explosive growth, but then I began to notice the huge influx of OFW’s, especially from the Philippines. Calgary has a massive population of immigrants from places like Philippines, Pakistan/India, and a bevvy of African countries. The Flips have taken over retail sales, roofing/carpentry, East Indians have all the liquor/convenience stores, taxi, and banking nailed. The rest of them have infiltrated the trucking industry, and are making their beach heads in varioius quarters of the health industry. Interestingly enough, the wages are suppresssed, if not, on a noteable downward trend, on account of businesses crying “labour shortage” as an excuse for their need to bring in more Overseas Foreign Workers. Being an over mortgaged/overindebted no-lifer myself, I have learned firsthand, a hard and valuable lesson uniquely applicable to my life. For me, SHTF is larger than life, as I stand on the precipice of losing my own home, and business, it means having to give up the American Dream (in this case, Canadian Dream). It has become grossly untenable and so not worth toiling away for. Why should I become so deeply vested in an economy that continually conspires to take away from me, an ever increasing portion of my labours? I realized that I am part of the problem when I “borrow all manner of mannah into exsistence”. I pay the cost of my own slavery when I borrow the issusion of prosperity into exsistance, and I am the forger of my own shackles, by having any of my own money, in the banks in the form of deposits, over and above the minimun required to pay bills. Having IRA’s, 401(k)’s RSP’s, mutual funds or any other paper investments do nothing for me except contribute the wellbeing of this system of things, and make me vulnerable to being ‘Cyprused’. It has been said that Canada’s banking system faires much better than that of the U.S.A. I don’t buy that, as some of the big 5 chartered banks have been bailed out. Furthermore, the reserve requirements that Canadian banks were supposed to have, has long since been abolished in 1994. Hey! At least I tried it and lived with all of it’s attendant conditions of being economically conquered and enslaved, for the better part of half my life. Having worked in the oilpatch, and living in my own motorhome as an oil patch workamper, I found that I was the most happiest, living in that RV. For a time, the albatross around my neck, that illusion of homeownership was stifled long enough to come to the realization that an old 2nd hand 40′ class A RV with one super slide was all that I needed. I camped, cost free, in a client’s equipment yard with free water/power and WiFi. Later I winter camped in a year round campground while working a contract job for another client. This latest client is a transnational drilling company that is large enough to be counted amongst the ‘Too big to fail’, but shut their Canadian well services division after they did one coiled tubing job. When ‘Too big to fail’ begins to shut down and consolidate it’s operations. en masse, it’s definately time to pay attention! You also know that things are bad when the likes of Liquidation World decides to cease all of it’s Canadian operations. SHTF is truly, an ongoing process that overtakes, and mercilessly engulfs one family at a time. Ultimately, it is their sysem of things and no matter who you are or what station you are at, in life, they have the power to dictate that 1+1=5 and they can and do make the economy defy the laws of mathematics at everyone else’s expense, of course. We have nothing to say or can do anything about it, except to simplify, declutter, live well below our means, trade/barter/pay cash, and do not owe anybody anything. With these, and other preps in place, when SHTF comes for you as it most assuredly will, you will be able to live it on your terms.

                • I don’t know BI. I, as you are aware, am one of those who has been crying “wolf” for at least the last two years. I have also said at the same time that I am constantly amazed how the government in conjunction with the U.S. financial industry has found ways to prolong the collapse. They have learned from the past.

However with that sais I do believe they have reached the end of too much more kicking the can down the road. The stock market is being propped up by several programs put into place by both government (Feds) and by the five big international banks, aka the Bilderberg group.

Example: Up till 18 months ago, and I urge everyone to check out what I am saying is true, the stock market reacted on a daily basis such as this:

If the Dow Jones was up 75 points
                  The S & P would be up 7.5 points
The NASDAQ has never had this type of correlation as it has a wider division of industries it represents.

Over the last 18 months will see that the above referenced statistic is no longer true. It is all over the place. Take last Friday for example the DOW closed out about 75 points higher. The S & P closed down about 4 points. My point being that the Feds are pumping money into the DOW to protect the financial institutions. Why? Because if the Banks fail then so goes the retirement of millions and millions of Americans. So does the prices of houses across the country.

You can look at what happened to Detroit when the banks gave up on them. Cheapest housing prices in the country and through the bankruptcy there went 80% of the retirement for it’s past retired workers. And if you look back the collapse all started out with the foreclosure of a parking garage by Wells Fargo and when that didn’t get their attention they foreclosed on City Hall.

San Jose California is very close to having the same
done to it as it happened to it’s sister cities Vallejo and Stockton. The only difference is Detroit ran it’s own retirement and the cities run everything through CalPers which is run by the state. Stockton California who went Bankrupt 4 years ago was forced by the Federal Bankruptcy Judge to pay CalPers (state of calif.) the monies owed both back and present. Guess what? They need to file bankruptcy again already because of the monies they are being forced to pay into the pensions.

My whole point being that you can only prop up the system so much and for so long and it is my belief that they are quickly coming to a dead end. Mac, I think this was a great article. There is just so much information on the subject that very few people can sort out the chaff from the actual substance (as my post shows). They do that just to keep us confused.

                  BigB

                  • @ Big B. These are blips on the economic scale of the country because all of these can be bailed out and forgotten about. The FEDS can pump phantom money into the stock market until the 22nd. century as long as other countries continue to support the system. As long as the U.S. continues to be able to produce enough food and other goods for the world, there will not be much change. Don’t get me wrong, the ceiling will be hit, but when?

This is the whole problem, people see these dire warning then months later nothing happens. I mean nothing as is nothing catastrophic or even painful enough to real send fear into the markets and people in general. Even in 2008-09, the stocks dropping almost 60% didn’t bring about a civil war. Not in the 30’s when it dropped 89% did it do anything to the country as a whole to a martial law state or civil war like 70 years before the Great Depression. People are not taking this seriously. Maybe they should because the public woul;d not be told the real reason behind the start of the third world war being economic.

I am just saying that when an article comes out that says a depression will be the sole reason and will bring about these horrors, I say no. They will start a global war before this happens. Launch some false flags. Control over the people won’t work because of an economic collapse. Control over the population because of the need to isolate the population from a dealdy virus would work. A real perceived threat is the issue here. The underlying cause is money, I agree. But trying to forecast when it will happen or even that it will soon occur when none of us actually have real numbers to plug in to the equation makes these moving of the goal posts all too damaging to the validity of such economic articles and in the long run the solid reasons to prepare for SHTF events. Look at the numbers of people the read these economic articles as opposed to prepper articles, self defense and freedom rights, and others. The numbers continue to wane of these articles as time goes on that nothing occurs. This is just an observation I have noticed, but shows the lack of interest in the subject.

                  • There are many millionaires who do not want the US economy to completely collapse because they will lose their money. There’s talk about the government confiscating IRA’s and the like. Is it thought that with fifty percent (more or less) of the nation’s wealth in the hands of the one percent, that these wealthy individuals would be somehow exempt from a wealth confiscation scheme? Surely, the millionaire’s club would object strenuously.

My general point being that there are strong forces holding the country together. Nobody wants a total economic collapse. At least, nobody in their right mind, the way I see it.

Still, there are strong groups trying to take away our 1A and 2A rights in order to blatantly compell behavior to questionable mores; much unaccountability in Wall Street and the banking system; and our politicians don’t govern very well, to put it mildly. Plus, the yellow man’s government would just as soon see us wiped off the face of the Earth, as would the typical religious fanatics.

There are strong forces for unity, and strong forces for dissolution. There is also mother nature. I have no idea what will happen, but “Be Prepared” is a good motto. Hakuna metata.

                • @BI always look at the distribution channel as a good indicator of what’s to come, no movement quiet, activity well most people in the knowledge have stock up on everything already we shall see anticipating…

                • Yes, the constant din from alt news about a collapse just around the corner is starting to numb a lot of people…I’m susceptible to it myself, I know. And it is destructive to the energy one needs to keep preparing. I’d add that one of the big things that bothers me is the entire industry that has grown up around prepping. I started to do this stuff in the mid-2000s. I seem to remember at that time that there were a few dehydrated food sites that sold stuff in #10 cans, a few gun sites, and the usual array of retailers that sold camping, food and other survival-type goods. You basically had to roll your own plan and buy stuff piecemeal to put together your stash.

Now the web is crawling with hawkers trying to get you to believe that you can get a full solar kit that will replace your electrical system for under $1000, or a full 1-year supply of food for the same, or a bunch of ammo for unreal prices, etc. They’re bullshit on the face of them, but people are buying that crap because those places seem to be thriving. And when they discover that they’ve been gypped that’s one less potentially good person who’s been turned off to prepping. These guys are really hurting our cause, and they piss me off.

A newbie isn’t going to know that it’s going to take AT LEAST $20,000 to “solar-up” to near full replacement power, or that a decent rifle is going to cost you between $800 and $2500 depending on what capabilities you want/need, or that even a child is likely to need $3000 to feed them decently for a full year if the storage food is all they eat.

There should really be a go-to site that helps newbies with this stuff, but there doesn’t seem to be…I’ve had to learn what I know by reading dozens of sites and picking up tidbits either in the articles or, often, in the comments. I’d do a site like that if I had the time, but I just can’t right now. But a lot of would-be preppers are slipping through the cracks for lack of it and that’s a shame.

                • WHY: Is it that NOBODY that writes such articles Ever mentions that the Number ONE Major reason we have so much national and personal debt. Is due to USURY? aka INTREST charged.

There is ZERO, NO, NONE, NADA, reasons that “If” our officials and leaders etc wanted to, they could not easily and Quickly pass a law to REtake BACK control of Money and Banking etc, and have the Govnt aka US Treasury dept begin to issue DEBT-FREE AND Usury-intrest FREE Loans for mortgages, college loans, Buisness and Vehicle loans etc etc…AND for Govnt Infrastructure work to repair usa roads, pipelines, Elec Grid etc etc..DEBT & Intrest Free.

Its how Islamic nations have been conducting monetary and banking buisness all along for what, 1400+ years now.

Picture buying a home for say, $100,000 and Over 30 years you ONLY pay back what you were loaned or $100,000, plus maybe a small fee that covers paperwork etc.

How big would your nest egg retirement savings be, if instead of paying $200,000 USURY/Intrest fees over that 30 yrs time frame, You can POCKET it!

Same for car loans or buisness loans etc…There is no good reason this cannot be done…Islamics have done it for Centuries, Germans did it in 1930’s to fix economic troubles created by versailes treaty and WWI costs.

I can think of JUST One single entity that would be harmed, and then harmed only economicly by such a plan…That being Zio Jewish banksters such as JP Morgan, Rothchildes family banksters, and the other few bankster familys worldwide who NOW control ALL the worlds nations money and banks, except for 3-4 nations like iran and N. korea etc.

China debt we owe is only aprox 15% or so…Its them Bankster jewboys we owe the great Bulk to, and its all due to USURY-INTREST! Thats…USURY!

Funny no “experts” ever never mentions “USURY/INTREST” when they write or speak of monetary troubles no?

THAT, IE: ENDING of all forms USURY-INTREST, IS the main SOLUTION!…One would think so many “experts” would by now be aware of this Fact eh?

Unless..A Real Fix-Solution is NOT really what intrests these article writers perhaps?….Hard to sell Gold and Subscription newsletters, if a true, realistic FIX is being discussed right?

Research how while in America we struggled for about 15 years with a massive Great Depression, over in Germany where it was even Worse yet there, they were able to Reduce unemployment from 35% Down to litterally zero percent unemployment numbers, or very close to zero %.

And do so in Less than 4 years, while also rebuilding factories, homes, schools, churches etc etc and bascially creating a brand new germany that was previously demolished in WWI….ALL done without harmming anybody, not even a single Hair on a single jewish head.

While america remained Bogged down badly for 15 years at the Exact same great depression era time frame…

The main difference between USA VS germany methods was…USA= Kept use of Private central jewish banksters AND USURY Intrest Intact…

While germans did the Opposite by BOOTING OUT Jewish private bankster swindlers, and creating their Own cash with zero debt and zero USURY-INTREST Period.

Germany got back to normal and better in LESS than 5 years total, with avg facotry workers or carpenters etc taking MONTH long Paid vacations, while USA workers…Well, SEE that Movie with the JOADS Family aka Grapes of WRATH I believe its called for a Progress report of how it was going Here is the USA to Fix it all..

I mainly make mention of all this germany vs usa stuff as an Example that YES…USURY-INTREST Is the Major, Main Number ONE reason And problem of ALL our Current, Past, and Future monetary troubles.

It is PROOF thet an END to ALL USURY/INTREST is the main first Step to FIX America and do so Pronto so there never needs be any “collapse” of economy at all.

And I for One as an individual usa american citizen, will not shed a tear at all if it pisses off jewish banksters, wall street zionists, or any other connected, similar, tribal group or Org of their sort or groups.

After all the SAME Jewbanksters familys and their combined cronies has been swindleing and scamming USURY from ALL americans personally and Nationally/Governmentally for OVER, 100-Years now…

So just how GREEDY are them jewish banksters anyways? Aint a hundred Trillion gained thru USURY-INTREST quite ENOUGH yet?

And some unenlightened folks still wonder or inquire as to Why has That tribe been Booted from every Nation that Hosted them during the past 1900+ years? (109-Nations, so far, 4-5 times each in France & England!! They keep re-infiltrating or is that, RE-Infesting?).

Research That also! Begin with Nation Wreckers, and quickly advance search to jewish Banksters!

Then finish off research with ENDING-USURY totally across the Board!….I can provide a couple great websites for info on ENDING USURY!! Just ask if you need a link.

We Need to see these problems as: Which do we prefer?

#1- END ALL USURY and Fix/Repair entire elec grid, roads, infrastructures nationwide..PLUS End All Unemployment with zero intrest buisness loans etc. And Put America BACK to Normal and GOOD again?

#2-OR: Keep Ignoring that Huge Elephant of USURY-INTREST that serves ONE major Purpous of, Enriching jewish banksters and all their tribal and goyim cronnie pals who Traitorously SELL Us, ME and YOU and Your kids OUT…

And just sit back to remain a totally fucked up, demolished, 3rd world crap hole nation with most everyone on food stamps?

Which makes More Sense to YOU? and to YOUR Kids or grandkids futures?…remember there NO americas left to go to for further white-flight! This time its going to Have to be…White’s FIGHT! Not flight. With backs against that wall there is no longer any flight options left folks. Time to put them BOOTS on and BOOT Banksters and accociated cronnies. 109 other nations cannot all be wrong eh!

                  • @ Them Guys, you have a very good point about the usury laws. And if the powers to be were questioned about it of course the answer would be, You want us under Sharia law? Good point.

                    BigB

                • It does not take an economic collapse for preppers to point to. Regional crises like Katrina, Sandy, the poisoning of the water in West Virginia, The big spring flood in Colorado, these are also the things we prep for. If people are too blind to see these actual events and prep on their own, too bad. I’ve long held that stupidity should be painful. And,,,,it is!

                  • BIG B:….Yes I am sure most polititions will try to create a false strawman argument such as you stated, IE:”You want to live under sharia law”?…And all who say that are ignorant fools. And whoever accepts that as a real answer or has any fears of sharia here in usa are even bigger fools!

I am talking of one issue. END USURY Fully. Just because islamics has that as a one small part of overall sharia law don’t mean all of sharia law has to be implemented.

A great comback to shut up such foolish polititions would be to inform the assholes that for aprox 1000 years in the middle ages, the vatican along with the nations kings fully Banned USURY across the board in all of europe.

That never created “sharia law” anywheres that was a white christian nation.

Threats of “oh NO! Sharia law is comming soon! Just around the corner!” Is ALL BUNK!

Yes america has a community of muslims here…A few million or maybe 1% of the POP. So what?

Anybody who thinks usa muslims has even a remote enough power to change Our nations laws into total sharia like suadi arabia, is drinking too much Pastor John Hagee Koolaide. Or Koolaide brewed by most neocon kommie zionists defenders and jew firsters who place an “R” after their names to Fool folks into voteing for them and expecting good changes…All we heard for a Decade, 10 yrs from Rush & Hannity et al was “The solutions are to give repubs majority control of Prez and both houses congress so They can Fix it all what dems fucked up for 50 yrs prior”…

Ironic that Now today, them two idiots still harp on vote repubs to get it all fixed. Yet both ignore the facts that We Did elect a repub majority…The first repub majority in 63 years!…SIXTY THREE YEARS! and what exactly did repubs do to fix it all?

NOT a single promice, nor law, nor abortion issues, faggot marriage issues, Gun Laws etc etc was ever even Spoken of the entire time repubs Had 100% controol of all three entities.

Instead they and their cronnies in msm espceially Faux news tv(talmud vision) geeked up scare tactics of “OH NO! Sharia Law soon HERE! Unless we make illeagle Wars against Jewish-israels enemys!”

They are still at it too! Not too long ago Bill Kristol of weekly standard and Faux TV(talmudvision Kristols Tribe owns 100%) was crying for war to stop Syrias assad from useing Bio-Chem weapons aka WMD’s to destroy america!

As If!…Like assad has missles and capability to destroy usa?…OR does mr kristol, Rabid ziowhacko jewboy Loyal to ONE nation, that being israel, believe assads syrian army will use the Same methods as Afgannis IE: “If we do not halt afgans they will mount camels or donkys and bring an AK-47 with 50 rnds here and kill every american while they are asleep in their snuggly beds!” (Moooslim Donkys and Camels can walk across 3000 miles of Ocean waters!….Right Mr. Kristol?).

Yeah thats probobly how bill kristol and all his bankster ziojews envision it all….but I do Not see it that way at all.

Who do we see 24/7 constantly clamoring, rabidly Foaming at mouth, displaying cartoon drawings of a round bomb with lit fuse at top, at UN meetings, Demanding MORE WARS!?

Gee That would be americas “best friends and allies” state of Israel and Nuttyyahoo, that mad rabid Khazar imposter Christ warned us about when Christ called Khazars like him, “The Synagouge of SATAN” aka Imposter jews. I am certain most here has seen the DNA actual evidence of dec 2012 I prior Posted Here at this site several times prior….It Verifies Jesus was correct…They Are imposter jews aka Khazars.

Its high time every sane usa citizen awakens to realize Sharia law is never going to be reality here. Especially since we already been hyjacked as a nation 100 yrs ago by TALMUDIC JUDAISIM-Pharisitical Law.

HERES an EXAMPLE for Doubters, its who ROMNEY Chose as His Foriegn Policy Advisor staff when romney was running for election to Prez recently.

Here is Mitt Romney’s Foreign Policy team:
Dov Zakheim – (Israeli Dual Citizen)
Robert Kagan – (Israeli Dual Citizen)
Michael Chertoff – (Israeli Dual Citizen)
Eliot Cohen – (Israeli Dual Citizen)
Eric Edelman – (Israeli Dual Citizen)
John Lehman – (Israeli Dual Citizen)
Evan Feigenbaum – (Israeli Dual Citizen)
Aaron Friedberg – (Israeli Dual Citizen)
Kent Lucken – (Israeli Dual Citizen)
Kristen Silverberg – (Israeli Dual Ctizen)

PLUS we now also Have: 33% US Supremes are jewish talmudics. Very massivly Over representation demographically when one considers jews are Less than 2% of usa POP eh. Add in EVERY Fed Ct and fed appellate courts judges too, and its likley to Exceed a grand total of 75+% jewish fed judges.

I don’t notice ANY “Muhammads” or “Mammoods” names in there do You?

Sharia law fear threats are same as WMD in Iraq trheats were…Totally Bougus to create fear and gain neocon zionists war monger votes. I lived IN and around Dearborn Mich 43 years before moved to up north Mich.

Most muslims in america are not radical. Thats reason they came Here to escape radical islamic 6th century ways etc.

But research that jewish Talmud teachings verse by verse and see how radical and evil that is!

Unless you are a tribe member. but if a Goyim(herd animals like cattle)?….You are whos being spoken of in that talmud and whats said aint good for gentiles at all period.

Perhaps it the reason the tribes Talmud has a verse that basically warns talmudic jews (paraphraseing here) “Its Forbidden for a goyim gentile to ever see or read any parts of the Talmud. And also forbidden for ANY jew to read or decipher it For a goyim gentile…When caught doing so, BOTH should be put to DEATH! For if the goyim gentiles Ever find out what is written in our Plans for them, the goyims…Then all gentiles nation peoples will very likely hunt down and kill off every jew worldwide once talmudic plans we have for goyim gentiles are made known to them!”

Gee it seems the ONLY HOLY BOOK verses that teach exact opposite of ismalic and jewish talmudic hatered and violence etc is the Christians BIBLE!

Too bad barley any goyim americans, and especially christians and white folk, research some of that talmudic plans. For if they did they would soon realize that we have TWO MORTAL Enemys…Sharia islamic AND jewish Talmudic BOTH.

If whoever desires to KILL You is the enemy as many say here, which I agree with also, then read those many talmudic verses teaching jews to kill off gentiles wherever they are to be found. If some folk cannot stomach that brutal truth…Try just reading Talmudic verses that teach jews to LIE to and ROB/Steal from, Goyims and to Enslave goyims etc..

Now that I have established that we have TWO Mortal Deadly enemys…Which should we be more worried of?

Islamic goat herders with a few ak’s? not here, no navy or air force to get to here…

OR, an Infiltrated bunch of dual citizen zio talmudic fanatics who already hyjacked america since 1912-13 era 100 yrs ago and Now today control all of what matters in what most folks calls…Society-Culture-Medias MSMs-Fed GOVNT-State GOVNT’s(50),,,Unions-Schools(mandatory holyHoax classes from early grade school onward, promoting Proven Falsehoods and false survivor storybooks etc) and University’s-75% todays admin and Professors are jewish, close to 100% are leftist markists(kommies) which their tribe also Invented(communisim-russia 1918).

After 20+ yrs personal research I’d say in all honesty, on a head for head per capita avg, the worst killers and mass murders who has the Most deaths to Their credit, of innocent folks down thru the ages is without any doubts.

That tribe which subscribes to their Talmudic teachings and beliefs. aka Master race, seperatistis, rabid haters of all non jews, Definatly has a longer Blood trail and more dead body count attributable to their Parisitic agendas and tactics than any other religion, group, tribes, nations period…History Proves this beyond doubt.

Tell phony Polititions That info if they use Fear tactics of Sharia law next if we end USURY!…Tell them while thay are ending usury, to also END Talmudic Zionistic control of America. 109 Other nations cannot All be wrong eh!

                  • Agree. Many good aspects to a prepper lifestyle, it’s not just about about stockpiling food, ammo, water, meds., etc.

It’s also about changing your entire perspective and lifestyle to one that is more sustainable under many adverse conditions, i.e. job loss, divorce, health, etc. The mindset is one of survival not one of dependence.

So, as our economy continues to collapse, and it is, just in slow motion, those that prep have a little more cushion.
It’s a lifestyle, not a once in a lifetime gig.

Preppers do some awesome stuff, pay off mortgages, pay off credit cards, live within their means, wear it out or do without, don’t buy into the latest fads, don’t waste their money on junk, etc. Nothing wrong with any of this, IMO.

Just think if all Americans adopted even a few of these survival strategies? How much better most would be? With or without an economic collapse.

Doesn’t really matter. Prepping is a lifestyle/mindset that pays off long term, not short term. You won’t be worse for wear for it, in any event, even if the economy doesn’t collapse, you’re still in a good position.

Yes, sometimes you do have to throw out food that has gone bad, but when you weigh that against the inflation, you probably really didn’t lose anything because you initially saved, cost-averaging I guess.

Just buy what you eat that way, no waste. As far as spending money on guns, ammo, etc., what harm in that?
                    Can always sell it (investment).

You get my drift. If you’re prepping prudently, you shouldn’t lose a dime and sleep better at night, and it shouldn’t, IMO, be done for the “sole” purpose of, OMG an economic collapse is coming.

My DH and I view it as a lifestyle, we are moderate, not extreme, so it fits in well with our goals of saving money, reducing debt, being a bit more self-sustaining, and knowing in a worst-case scenario, we’ve bought ourselves some time.

            • Not to mention the milk will have a glow to it.

              B Aware, B Awake, B Alive

              • Are you talking about radiation?

            • I have just learned how to make powdered milk. It was a little tricky getting the right flavor. It is also self stable.

            • Inflation has kicked in and hyperinflation is kicking in now! To start, a bag of ice, 10lb bag of ice was $.99 back in 2006/2007. In that 5 years(starting sometime in 2012), ice is over $2 a 10 lb bag! That’s 100% increase, for a bag of frozen water! Gallon of milk was $2 and change, currently close to $5. That’s over 100%. Bread was around $1.59, today some types are over $4. This is for the basic needs of BREAD and WATER! Loaf of bread and gallon of water is Almost $10!
All they talk about is how it could get worse, any worse and all hell will brake loose! Imagine telling the family on food stamps, there are no more food stamps? Exactly!

              • Break not brake! Sorry!

          • Shiftless
That is due to the Minimum Wag going up.
DAH TPTB are trying to crash things. For them the soon the better. Too many people are starting to wake up.

          • Yes, but McD came out with other great dollar sandwiches and Big Macs have been running for $2 through most of January here. I don’t remember if any of the new items are double patty though.

          • OMFG! they didn’t do away with the “Obama value meal”, did they? you know, you get to order ANYTHING you want off the menu, and the guy BEHIND you has to PAY for it…

            • PRICELESS!

          • It isn’t that things cost more…it’s that the money is worth LESS!!!

            • US Dollars: Currently are worth about just under 9% MORE than Canadian dollars are…For the First time in quite awhile too!…..I think that also applies to us dollars vs jap Yen too(?).

Ironic every doom article claims us dollars immenent collapse, while us dollars have Risen in value vs canadian money no?

Actually if you compensate for Canada dollars Were not long ago worth aprox 3% or More than us dollars, then instead of just close to 9% more value of us dollar vs canadian money, its likly closer to 12%+ the us dollar has Risen vs canadian money in the past few months time frame. Because back then canadian dollars were worth more by several percetage points…

unless I mised something? a stronger us dollar don’t equate to any type collapse of us dollars any moment eh.

Maybe to Liberals it does since libs think UP means Down.

disclaimer: not saying you are a liberal, just makeing a point is all on how libs think stupidly.

          • Why, because you have to pay more for a red slime burger??? No…. this Country is going to hell because America has lost its mind, morals and reverential fear of the living God. The God of the Bible. That is why America is going to hell.

Charley Reese’s final column for the Orlando Sentinel… He has been a journalist for 49 years. He is retiring and this is HIS LAST COLUMN.

Be sure to read the Tax List at the end.

This is about as clear and easy to understand as it can be. The article below is completely neutral, neither anti-republican or democrat. Charlie Reese, a retired reporter for the Orlando Sentinel, has hit the nail directly on the head, defining clearly who it is that in the final analysis must assume responsibility for the judgments made that impact each one of us every day. It’s a short but good read. Worth the time. Worth remembering!

          545 vs. 300,000,000 People
          -By Charlie Reese

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don’t propose a federal budget. The President does.

You and I don’t have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.

You and I don’t write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don’t set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don’t control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one President, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a President to do one cotton-picking thing. I don’t care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator’s responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits.. ( The President can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.)

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House?( John Boehner. He is the leader of the majority party. He and fellow House members, not the President, can approve any budget they want. ) If the President vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to. [The House has passed a budget but the Senate has not approved a budget in over three years. The President’s proposed budgets have gotten almost unanimous rejections in the Senate in that time. ]

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted — by present facts — of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can’t think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it’s because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it’s because they want it in the red.

If the Army & Marines are in Iraq and Afghanistan it’s because they want them in Iraq and Afghanistan ..

If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it’s because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power.
Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like “the economy,” “inflation,” or “politics” that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible. They, and they alone, have the power.

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses. Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees… We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

What you do with this article now that you have read it… is up to you.
This might be funny if it weren’t so true.
Be sure to read all the way to the end:

          Tax his land,
          Tax his bed,
          Tax the table,
          At which he’s fed.

          Tax his tractor,
          Tax his mule,
          Teach him taxes
          Are the rule.

          Tax his work,
          Tax his pay,
          He works for
          peanuts anyway!

          Tax his cow,
          Tax his goat,
          Tax his pants,
          Tax his coat.

          Tax his ties,
          Tax his shirt,
          Tax his work,
          Tax his dirt.

          Tax his tobacco,
          Tax his drink,
          Tax him if he
          Tries to think.

          Tax his cigars,
          Tax his beers,
          If he cries
          Tax his tears.

          Tax his car,
          Tax his gas,
          Find other ways
          To tax his ass.

          Tax all he has
          Then let him know
          That you won’t be done
          Till he has no dough.

          When he screams and hollers;
          Then tax him some more,
          Tax him till
          He’s good and sore.

          Then tax his coffin,
          Tax his grave,
          Tax the sod in
          Which he’s laid…

          Put these words
          Upon his tomb,
          ‘Taxes drove me
          to my doom…’

          When he’s gone,

          STILL THINK THIS IS FUNNY?
Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, & our nation was the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.

What in the heck happened? Can you spell ‘politicians?’
I hope this goes around THE USA at least 545 times!!! YOU can help it get there!!!

GO AHEAD. . . BE AN AMERICAN!!!

          • EPPE;
I think you forgot one: DEATH TAX Yes they even tax you because you die!;-(

            • Agreed, I have been telling my 75 year old parents to sell everything and move in with me, give me the assets and I will take care of everything. But you know how parents are, they do not see what is happening, even though in time they might go to a nursing home, and wipe out all thier assets, when we could take care of them at home with thier favorite grandchildren. I hope to talk sense in to them, but they are sooo independent, for now at least. I had a friend go thru the same thing, lost out on quite a bit of cash, thanks to our goverment and the “rules”….

          • Eppe, excellent article! I’m surprised the editors let it pass. We have the Sentinal here in Daytona, but I only glance at the headlines. I’m going to pick up today’s copy for that though! And, I’ll be sending it on too. Thanks for posting it! Be safe!
            Standing ready in Daytona

          • Eppe… I admired Charlie Reese’s articles and mindset also. He was an equal opportunity basher of all the nations politicians and corporate crooks. I thought he passed away.

          • I lived in Orlando for 28 years and read Charlie’s column on a regular basis he is right. The whole bank / housing collapse was completely created by the government requiring all the banks to give out bad loans so everyone could buy a house. Instead of taking responsibility for creating the environment of the collapse they bailed out the banks and fannie and Freddie. I escaped from Orlando as it was getting to be a not so nice place to live. My father was a cop in one of the local PDs and the year we left the murder rate in the Orlando area jumped 400% from the year before. I was one of the lucky ones I sold my house two weeks before the bottom dropped out and hauled ass to the north GA mountains. Don’t miss the place at all.

            • I have a cabin in ellijay. Great area to weather the storm that is coming.

          • Excellent post, Eppe! Now, I wanna know who junked you for it…I guess they like to pay taxes?! Whoever gave Eppe the thumbs down, man-up and state your reasons why. Now with that said, in regards to the earlier posts about preppers and civilians not preppin’ as much, it is because like B.I said, the goal posts keep getting pushed back and people are becoming complacent. In our own little corners of this world, we don’t always see massive changes that would encourage us to prep as often. We see small changes while in other parts of the country we will read about the homeless villages or cops killings innocent people but we are not seeing those things in our own backyards. Oh, sure, some of us do, but it is not on a scale that alarms us into hyper prepping. Thus the complacency of our attitudes. I’m guilty of this as well. Even K.D. had a ticker saying basically the same thing…he did not expect that the Fed would take the actions that it did and push the collapse off as long as it is. Personally, we had an IRA that we cashed out last year because I could not stomach the fact that the FED/GOV would take everything we worked for. We paid the tax on that too which pisses me off because that savings money was already taxed and now taxed again. Now, my better half regrets it with the stocks being so high. I do not. I don’t want the beast fed as the saying goes. Now, I do think that lulling people into complacency is part of the grand plan. Keep people just plugging along as the majority of us do and when we are blindsided by collapse, war, disaster…the main stream media will proclaim slack jawed and big eyed that we (as a nation) never saw it coming. Just my two cents. (by the way…keep those copper pennies and nickles too.)

            • I do believe if we were to experience a major SM collapse, or bail-ins, the public won’t see it coming. I don’t believe TPTB will give us a heads-up. All this yak about the World Economic Forum, or whatever it is, and this/that, I question it. TPTB are not, IMO, going to give us any warning.
Giving us warning would defeat the purpose. Just look at ACA, can’t read it until it’s passed…because if we had, it would have defeated the purpose. Now, the top is going to give us a warning of something far worse (as if ACA isn’t bad enough). My gut says no.

They may leak tidbits to test public reaction, but I personally think that’s about as far as it goes, and even then, I sometimes believe we are being deliberately misled.

So, back to prepping, makes sense when nothing else does.

          • Hope it doesn’t take a 100 years to trash this system…

            • America cannot be destroyed yet, untill at least when a Replacement nation can be found. To replace the current Kabalistic-GOLEM, of America, thats been RE-created to be used by the NWO crowd to conquer or destroy all Other nations.

So far the most logical obvious “New GOLEM-Nation” as a replacement seems to be maybe china. Not certain though if chinas leader kommies really desire to hand control of china over to a rabid bunch of zio talmudics.

Plus one must consider also that, whichever nation agrees to become the Tribes new GOLEM, it will likley entail also allowing over 1/2 or a majority of the Tribes members to Move to, and Reside Inside their New GOLEM-nation of choice.

Like they now and have been doing since 1880’s in the usa GOLEM State they created.

Much akin to african negores, the tribe is also basically a Parisitical type group. This means that the Tribe MUST have Another “HOST” nation for at least 1/2 or More of their total numbers to live in. Otherwise how can their main state of israel survive past a month or less?

The Lifeblood of a nation State is, Money. It can’t exist without Money and Lot’s of it!. That is why Israel Must have at least 1/2 of the tribes total persons liveing abroad, to do what they do Best! IE: Extract CASH resources From the Host nation, to transfer to, Israel!

Doing that is NO small feat!. It takes many High placed individuals Loyal to ONE nation/group, in charge of many varrious high-officials Placed into many varried agencies of Govnt in order to accomplish such Massive Cash Extractions to keep maintaining another State nation(israel)!

Just as if welfare bennies for negores in usa were cut off totally would destroy 90% of blacks…So too would happen to state of Israel if all a sudden ALL forms of State welfare were to be cut Off…Israel is who’d collapse and in one months time probobly.

Just an issue to consider when considering or debateing what nation is going to replace america as the tribes new Kabalistic-GOLEM, for their Rabid JWO/Nwo plans to come to fruition eh…

I’d rekon a good sign of the times so to speak of americas end as israels kabalistic GOLEM nation, would be if/when we see a Rapid movement of most jewish folks Out of usa and Into the tribes next GOLEM state, be that china or an other nation.

But untill such happens we can rest assured, tptb Cannot simply demolish or collapse america in ANY major way…Unless they either have a new GOLEM awaiting the tribes entry, or TPTB have simply abandoned their 300+ year Old Quest at complete ownership and control 100% of the Entire World in what most folks calls a, NWO(Jwo is more accurate-just ask AIPAC if you doubt me!).

        • Yesterday’s Sunday paper had an ad from a local store chain. One of their big “sales” this week is “10 for $10”
10 cans of green beans for $10…. WTF!!! Last year, they were 79 cents a can, often on sale for 65 cents a can!!!

          • just bought them for 48 cents in so cal…in last 6 mos they were 39 cents…gotta watch the sales and buy in BULK….my KIDS call me the INCREDIBLE BULK now…it’s VERY easy to find sale ads with double to triple the price. be vigilent(now where’s my spellCHICK?) one thing caught my attention TODAY. i always buy fruit on bulk too. whatever is in season. lately oranges should be on sale for 5 or even ten pounds for a dollar in so cal. but the cheapest i have seen them YET is 3 for a dollar…what’s goin’ on with oranges?

          • Just picked up a bunch for .59. Surfine Corn, Beans, and Peas.

        • Coleman fuel is $20/USG in Canada hillbilly SC. But I came across something cool, a “Stansport Propane Converter”, it converts your old Coleman stove to propane, saw it on “Keep it Simple Survival”. Mine is on the way but I had to order thru amazon to get it across the border. Add an adapter hose and the BBQ tank can be used.

        • I too do the family shopping. If you watch the price per once on the tags of many food items you will see prices are increasing on a weekly bases. One trick wally world has been using for a while and know has been picked up by others is selling the bulk items at a higher price. In the beginning if you bought in bulk you would save money but it is no longer true. Pay attention to the price per once and you will see bulk items cost more. In addition it seems 13.5oz is now the new 16oz. It must be common core math however it does result in all the packages becoming smaller. If you say anything I’m sure they’ll tell you it is to make it easier to carry. Nothing is as it seems anymore. Watch everything, we are being fucked over from every angle and with the decline of America it will only get much worse. Just remember everything when the “RESET” comes so you allow God to have mercy and you won’t have to and will do what needs doing.

          • right on maddog. another trick is found at the dollar***stores. i wandered around a COUPLE of those stores and it seems like the per ounce price is ALWAYS more than i had gotten the item on sale someplace else recently. it’s appealing to the braindead and the college-educated(i know, i know, i’m repeating myself) to buy something for a DOLLAR, but it’s MORE expensive in the long run. take a calcuator with yuh fer chrisesakes if yuh caint do the(fifth grade) math!

        • Price changes are by definition quantal. You say yourself that the price of gas had been stagnant for years. Well, if you now divide the jump (30%) over the years, it will not look quite as bad.

        • Mac et al

Allow me to submit excerpts of the following..

substantiates nearly everything we discuss here..
Submitted by Jim Quinn of The Burning Platform..

The entire economic recovery storyline is a sham built upon easy money funneled by the Fed to the Too Big To Trust Wall Street banks so they can use their HFT supercomputers to drive the stock market higher, buy up the millions of homes they foreclosed upon to artificially drive up home prices, and generate profits through rigging commodity, currency, and bond markets, while reducing loan loss reserves because they are free to value their toxic assets at anything they please – compliments of the spineless nerds at the FASB

The laughable jobs recovery touted by Obama, his sycophantic minions, paid off economist shills, and the discredited corporate legacy media can be viewed appropriately in the following two charts, that reveal the false storyline being peddled to the techno-narcissistic iGadget distracted masses.

You’ve been sacrificed at the altar of the .1%. The 0% interest rates were for Jamie Dimon and Lloyd Blankfein. Your credit card interest rate remained between 13% and 21%. So, while you struggle to pay bills with your declining real income, the Wall Street bankers are again generating record profits and paying themselves record bonuses. Profits are so good, they can afford to pay tens of billions in fines for their criminal acts, and still be left with billions to divvy up among their non-prosecuted criminal executives.

          • “TPTB are all sociopaths and have engineered the system for their benefit at the expense of the masses. It is the New Feudal World Order that is coming, and the sociopaths have all the basic contingencies covered. First of all, don’t assume the frogs will revolt. The frogs ARE the Free Shit Army. Keep them fed and with a roof over their head, and doped up on weed and addicted to mindless tv reality shows, and watch how complacent they will be.

For those few that do revolt, why do you think the DHS is stockpiling billions of rounds of ammo?

Why is the IRS extorting every freedom loving patriot?

Why is the NSA spying on everyone? No, the sociopaths have completely gamed the system for them to win, not us. We are morphing into the New Feudal World Order.

Kings/Queens running everything, with Lords in charge of the locals, using bread and entertainment on one hand, and the state security system on the other to maintain order.
Compliant serfs is what they want.
The chaff will be relegated to Fema camps or demilitarized inner cities to prey on each other.

It’s going to get worse, much, much worse before there is even a hint of things getting better.

            Prepare accordingly.”

I am sorry..but others put it all into perspective much more eloquently than I could ever imagine…and I just must share with all of you..

            • reality TV shows. weapons of mass distraction.

          • Posse: Actually, as I have explained before, the zero % interest rates were NOT for Jaime Dimon et al. The zero interest rates were used to REFINANCE existing American Treasury Debt at a lower rate, much like you would refinance your house if the rates dropped a few percentage points and you could save money over the loan term.

Refinancing US Bonds this way is the same thing only the savings are much greater because the debt is so much larger.

The $85 Billion in QE every month, WAS for Jaime Dimon et al; as most of this money went to their member bank account reserves, while the rest purchased toxic securities from the banks, to clean up their balance sheets to maintain their credit ratings so they could continue to underwrite each others derivatives and below “A” credit loans.

Finance is such a creative endeavor. 🙂

          • i’ll remove my spleen with an oyster knife before i set foot in one of those places!

            • now THAT’S gonna be hard to UNSEE!

          • oh my eyes lol

        • Hear Ya! Regarding them one pound propane cylinder: Up here in Canuckistan, it is illegal to refill these things, and you can’t buy the adapter to do it from a 20 pound bottle. I finally got one, and they work just fine. I now have over one dozen re-filled cylinders, and at least two full sized cylinders in storage-cheapest way to go.

        • Amoco Service station high premium white gas is the same thing as the Coleman white gas. Used it way back years ago because Coleman gas was to high.

      2. If we don’t stand up to these monsters soon, it will betoolate.. We will forever be like there slaves and pets… We should also think of our children’s future…

        • Too late Tom, do you really think it is possible to dig your way outta this mess? We down here aren’t far behind you but with a new Gubbermint I am seeing signs of an attempt to pump some water out of the sinking ship. Today it was announced “major changes” to our welfare system are on the cards as it has been acknowledged it is unsustainable.

That’s just one of our problems. Our major one is we are such a small economy compared to yours and the economic stability of pretty much the whole world depends on what happens to you. We are just keeping afloat coz we sell a heap of raw materials to China – who make stuff that you buy. You stop buying from China and they stop buying from us. So when it hits the fan in the US, we get covered in it too.

There will be another depression, it is unavoidable. And the next one will make the 1929 crash look like a fart in a Cat 5 hurricane.

Work out what you need, coz as sure as night follows day we are gunna need it!!

        • Nope tom, we are 100 years too late.. shoulda stopped the fed then.. all we can do now is keep our heads down, raise a bit of food and hold on tight.

          • Agreed .02 we are too late however I think we can do something. Put a wrench in the gears at every opportunity. I try to do at least one thing everyday to push the reset button. One thing I mentioned to do before can be done anytime, when around liberals use the word libtard liberally. You will be surprised just how well it works.

            • Useless insults won’t help us. Don’t even waste your time or breath on it.

            • liberalism is a DISEASE, nay, a mental disorder!

              • Butcrack Doom: Do NOT use that word “Disease”! Elsewise liberals will soon claim that if they are a Diseased group, it needs be classified as a “Minority Disability” and then libs will Demand we add a new class definition to affirmative action agendas to Include Diseased Libs!

It will get even far worse than affirmative action for minority blacks has been! With even greater numbers that will qualify for free stuff! Or Job gaurentees and “Quotas”!

I prefere mentally DERANGED!…Libs will Never convince enough folks to include Deranged folks into affirmative action program agendas or quotas eh.

      3. And Hillary will still be wearing her strap on.

        • And BIll is smiling?

          • Big Muff and Eppe;
I’ve got some more bad news for ya.
A couple of months ago I read a little ditty about back when Bill was in a fling with Jennifer Flowers she said that Bill had told her in confidence that they had a open thing and Hillary had eaten more pussy than he did. Can you say Euma Weinner? Kinda fits don’t it?

            • They probably both fling both ways. AC-DC

              • That was probably the problem with the whole Monica Lewinsky thing—she wouldn’t do hillary too.

              • they are democraps

            • Hahaha I’m sure it fits.

            • Hammerun, I heard a few stories back during Bill’s first term about Hillary. According to 1 source, her lover was Janet Reno, the butcher of Waco.

              • Oh man, that one caused a belch. I can believe it, though.

              • I always called Janet Reno that baby killing dyke.

          • The only time they r near each other is for public appearances.

            • maybe pubic appearences?

        • The linoleum lizard

        • This isn’t Hillary’s doing.

          • Horseshit! She been a player since conception.

            • I knew a guy that did her, back when she was still in college. Her parents brought her into a bar where he was the bouncer. They let her go home with him. He’s a Republican and a Marine. I think that’s why she hates us so much.

              • I worked with a lady in the early 80’s, who was on a cruise, that the Princess Di was on, before she went mainstream. She told me she was basically a slut, shacked up with 3 guys on the cruise. Makes one wonder if you have to bang many to get to the top???

                • She started out a princess with prince Charles, so she actually got LESS buck for the bang and en early “retirement”…just saying

          • don’t you mean Hillary’s dong?

        • Yep bill says hillary gets more pussy than he does.

          • Like “big sis” gross!

        • Thats gay shit.

          • Is this who our next president will be? A female that has done nothing on her own except for kill an ambassador 2 navy seals and an airman.

At this point what difference does it make who she does with her strap on?

            • I have no doubt that they’ll install that bitch to finish us off.

              • MT wish I could give more than one thumbs up for that one.

        • that’s why bill never let hillary wear a short dress…he knew her BALLS would show!

          • Probably hung down below her knees….

          • And there bigger than his.

          • “that’s why bill never let hillary wear a short dress…”

Thank goodness! That’s one beaver shot I’d prefer not to ever see.

            • I bet more of a hatchet wound than a beaver shot.

              • bill did an interview once with rolling stone and said it looked like a gutted salmon!

                • Thanks you just removed fish from my diet forever…..aararrrggggghhhhh!

      5. Staying out of the way, and off the radar of local police, will be your best bet. Have your things in your immediate possession, defend yourself from looters, and above all, shun all contact with any government types, especially LEO’s….

        • J V.
You might want to get to know some of the LEO’s they will be a good source of information and they just might be on your side. I know I am.
          Sgt.

          • you are probably the exception to the rule.

Here in my small little town in the middle of no where south of the Mason Dixon, the cops are thugs.

Thugs with badges and bad attitudes.

            perfect example:

A boy decided to rough my daughter up, we pressed assault charges against him. The day the court hearing was held, I was sick, (had emergency surgery the next morning) I was vomiting and could barely stand.

No place to sit in the court room, So they made us stand in the hallway. I started vomiting again, went and got sick in the bathroom. One of the cops starts banging on the door. Screaming at me to come out. I did. I was paler than notebook paper by this point. I grabbed the wall to keep my balance. Cop is in my face screaming at me to go be “dope sick somewhere else” frisked me and then watched me faint and hit the floor. I came too with this thug yanking me to my feet hard enough to leave his handprint on my bicep for the next 2 weeks.

I was yanked up so hard it started the vomiting again.

I was threatened with arrest, never mind my husband was attempting to get us dismissed to get me back to the emergency room for medical care.

We never did get permission to leave, the guy that roughed up my daughter walked because we had to leave. That was handled quietly later by my husband. He learned a good lesson: Never mess with daddy’s girl.

I absolutely despise the cops here in my town.

I filed a complaint, it went nowhere. That cop is still employed and still bullying folks.

            • What a stupid post.

            • W I L
I’m sorry it is like that where you live. Keep looking you just might find that they are hiding behind their actions, and are looking for some one to lead them to a better place.

            • waterislife,

That is horrible what you had to go through. Sorry to hear that.

Not all police are bad. We are very fortunate to have a good sheriff and police here. They are all people who grew up here, have families and are part of this community.

          • That’s right Sgt, in my 6 decades walking this planet I’ve come in contact with an uncountable number of cops – can count on one hand the number I wouldn’t trust and still have change.

Just keep your head down – if you go looking for trouble you’ll find it!!

            Aussie

          • In Ky, yeah. But in some states, the articles we’ve been reading tell a different tale.

          • Sgt Dale – agree with that. Lots here will bag out the cops but I must admit in my 6+ decades wandering this planet I have encountered an uncountable number of cops and the number I wouldn’t trust or respect I can count on one hand and still have change!

If TSHTF like we believe it will just keep your head down and fly under the radar. The cops will appreciate it coz they’ll have a lot more to worry about than some dude living quietly looking after himself and his family.

You go where trouble hangs out you have a much bigger chance of finding some you cant handle.

            Aussie

            • Sorry for a double post – thought the original one got “lost in cyberspace”

              Aussie

            • I guess it depends on where you live on whether the LEO are trust worthy.

I had a close friend who was a cop. He is no longer a friend because he was just too untrustworthy. He used to brag about beating up people in alleyways that he thought were crooks but couldn’t prove it. He also bragged about calling in DEA “hits” on people he didn’t like.

I had a theft of more than $10,000 from a storage area and the cops would not even come and investigate. A group of us tracked down the culprit and caught him selling the goods. The police finally, reluctantly, came out and arrested him but the county prosecutor let him go the next day.

The local LEO who do undercover work have been caught stealing drugs from the evidence room and are reported to be users themselves.

I can only count one or two positive encounters with LEO since moving to my current area and a huge number of negative interactions, too many to list.

On the humorous side. My kids were filling balloons with vinegar and baking soda and letting them burst on the back deck, leaving a number of large blotches of white powder. Our house was broken into and a bunch of DVDs were stolen. The police did come out and the brilliant guy scooped up the white powder and smelled it. Then he said” I think they must have been doing drugs when they broke in” as if any druggy would leave behind splatters of cocaine or any other drug.

I try to avoid the local LEO now because I see no benefit of closer contact.

              • I had a theft of more than $10,000 from a storage area

Cops that talk like this are liers If you beat up someone in an alley and you don’t have a reason like he was resisting you are in a world of crap or you should be. This type of cop makes me sick!!!!

                Sgt.

          • Yep Dale, we have one town cop and me and Bob get along quite well. I have this guys back and I am not a cop groupie in any way shape or form. Don’t trust most of them.

          • Best thing my COP/SWAT relative told me is make sure there is only one side to the story! Don’t miss if you have to shoot. Excellent piece of advice. I dread the day I have to pull my gun, but I will if it means protecting my daughter or granddaughters….I will not hesitate. He spent a whole day training me to protect myself and I will forever thank him. Neighbors down the road probably thought we had lost our minds from all the screaming and running and shooting, but I know what to do now. Make sure there’s only one side of the story!

            • You are dead on, my LEO bro-in-laws said to NEVER call, and dispose of the body. I prefer a swamp, harder to find and the varmits will take care of the evidence…

              Sgt.

          • Sgt Dale, maybe you are. Up here though, cops kill people and put them in wheelchairs for life and don’t even lose one day’s pay over it.

I keep to myself. I don’t break any laws or go looking for any trouble. I stay the fuck away from areas where there’s going to be riots (after sporting events or the WTO or whatever)…I don’t drive like an asshole or drink in bars. I stay away from cops because I don’t want to be recognized or on their minds in any way. I want zero familiarity between me/my family, and any government representative.

I’m getting older now and can’t physically fight as well as when I was young. I have my CCW and I still go out of my way not to offend people or create/make any situation worse…I’m not the blowhard yelling in the middle of the crowd, I’m the guy on the outskirts, headed the other way with his mouth shut. In spite of this, if trouble comes my way, I can take care of my family, if the attacker doesn’t make it, well, that’s his fault.

            • J.V.
I hope one day you find a good cop to become friends with.

If I were to buddy up to the popo’s and let out I was a prepper I would be SWATed when they got hungry and desperate. No I will avoid LEO’s at all cost. IMHO you better remove badge and uniform sarge when the time comes because you will be a neon bullseye to most that the police have wronged

            • +1 on that,,,,
I dont really trust any of them over here, had some interactions over the last month that changed my opinion, so much so that my new home protection gun is my REPR with a drum and a lazer,,,

          • Sgt.Dale You know sometime we shouldn’t talk,so as to protect someone else. I personally know more than one person in LE in the county in which I live, and it’s a large county as are most in Wyoming, anywho, one of them is over several other personnel and he is more of a prepper than I, and has many items that will be very handy in a SHTF senario, and he is very anti big brother. He will be a very good person to know when the crap goes down. We talk on occasion, do I tell him everything, NO, but he knows where I stand and I would trust him to cover my back. Trekker Out.

SOME OF YOU STUPID BASTARDS STILL SUPPORT FREE TRADE. WE NEED TO LOCK THIS BITCH DOWN. FORCE YOU IDIOTS TO PAY HIGHER PRICES FOR YOUR GOODS. MADE IN THE USA. HELP THE PROLETARIAT. DOWN WITH WALMART.

        • Settle down sonny….. it’s your happy meds time.

          • PO’d Patriot, medications won’t work on eisen.

        • Eisen, I agree with your points about free trade, made in china, and wallyworld. But didn’t you know proletariat is communist?

          • THE PROLETARIAT EXISTS INDEPENDENTLY OF COMMUNISM SHITWIT

            • Eisen, I’m going to risk using a commie term on you. It sounds like you need to be “re-educated” about communism. I don’t think you know it as well as you think you do. Get a copy of The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. maybe you’ll learn something.

            • The term “Proletariat” is originally a Roman term used to describe citizens of Rome with few real assets in a capitalistic society who made their living by the sweat of their brow providing their labor.

To be a citizen of Rome was a big deal and citizenship conveyed certain rights that slaves and ILLEGALS didn’t have.

Marx used the term to describe the working class of the 18th and 19th century, thus communism was to be a revolution of the working class.

              Just saying. 🙂

              • That about sums it up…there are lots of big words to describe the little guy. Most people don’t get the fact that, unless they’re worth tens of millions of dollars, they ARE the proletariat……

                • I do what I can to educate the villagers, Johnny. 🙂

          • > proletariat is communist?

            please explain this concept

            • It’s a word generally only used by Reds. It’s their lexicon. However, I wouldn’t say the word itself is communist.

          • The proletariat are the workers that are then organized by the communists and unions to overthrow the Bourgeoise or ruling class.

        • Free Trade, yes!! Within our borders!!

          • JJ:
            So true.
Now if other countries would open up there borders so our goods would flow in to thier country it might make a difference.
The only free trade I have seen is other countries goods freely coming into our country, not the other way around.

And it might start as soon as 31 January. I’m sure most of you have seen the article about a “Lehman style bankruptcy” coming to China at the end of the month. If you haven’t read it, it’s easy to find. Economic Collapse and InfoWars have articles on it right now.

Out of 37-million companies in the world, 147 mega-corporations own 40% of the entire global economy.

The same banks that own those mega-corporations also own the 6 giant media corporations that control 90% of the media here in the United States.

        • Sorry, class warfare isn’t the answer. Bill Gates got rich by taking risks, starting a company, and outmaneuvering his competition back in the 80s. Good for him. That’s the AMERICAN DREAM. If you want to take aim at the problem, go for the socialists in Washington that are doing their utmost to kill said dream.

          Mal

          • Yes, Mr. Gates was smart to purchase the DOS operating system and then LICENSE it out to all PC makers and end users.

BUT you left OUT the part where he created software that DISabled his competitors’ products so he could get his monopoly and his billions before the Court could put him back in his place.

Where I come from that’s called dirty, not clean money.

But as for Mr. Wozniak and Mr. Jobs, whose software was virus-FREE, well THAT, my friend, led ULTIMATELY to the iPad that singlehandedly KILLED the Netbook market and STILL slows DOWN PC sales, besides outselling all other tablet touchscreens.

I’d say THAT’S the REAL American Dream, partner.

            – The Lone Ranger

          • Class warfare it will be. The uber wealthy are not simply ultra talented/lucky. They get to certain level and then are able to manipulate/corrupt the system. So please don’t try to convince us that the deck isn’t stacked. The massive inequality will have some reset down the road whether you like it or not. That is how the world works.

          • I was a big fan of Word Perfect and 1-2-3. These were the two software programs that changed the world. Unfortunately for them, Gates recognized the genius of taking two similar programs (Word and Excel) and combining them under a common interface using a mouse. Then expanded the platform to include other, useful programs.

WP and 123 were slow to respond to this innovation, thinking that the strength of their individual programs were too much for MS to overcome. They underestimated their competition and failed to ADAPT.

Their lack of foresight and failure to MERGE against a common foe hastened their demise. Gates didn’t win that war. WP and 123 LOST it! 🙁

            • BJ: The NWO is a small group of individuals, the super rich, who control the 1%; who control the 10%, who control the world. The really, really rich don’t flaunt the generations and generations of wealth that they have silently accumulated and have stashed around the world.

They can afford to spread their Crony Capitalism to others (China)through their financial and trade system to control corporations, governments and political parties; because each category pays an ongoing fee of some kind to participate in their system; and the true costs are paid for by the lemmings who subsidize them.

They tighten their control one Rule, Regulation and Free Trade Treaty at a time. They think in decades or generations not annual time frames.

They spread their propaganda through euphemisms and induce the lemmings to sell their assets at fire sale prices, while they quietly purchase the gold and silver, or real estate, or whatever other asset they want on a counter-cyclical basis.

When precious metals are out of favor with the masses, you can bet the Uber Rich are buying at bargain prices. When prices spike, the Uber Rich sell a little bit and “take their profit” while accumulating and holding the larger portion of their position. That’s why they are called the “Smart Money”.

Our tax system is called a “progressive” system. What one would think, is that in a “progressive” tax system, the more money a person earned the more tax they would pay. Another euphemism.

After the many deductions that they receive on their investments; and after income is defined as either passive or active, the Uber Rich pay less for every dollar they earn than does the average Joe or Jane.

In Russia, everyone pays the same rate on every ruble they earn.

And then there is a little thing called “compounding” which over the generations magnifies the wealth of the Uber Rich many times over. If one can, by either the grace of god or chance; excel financially to a point where they have also achieved such financial status, then they become an entrenched participant in the status quo.

And this is why a Mad Max Collapse is not going to happen by design. It can only happen as the result of an Act of God over which the Elite have no control.

Keep prepping My peeps. Acts of God will begin soon enough. 🙁

            • WordPerfect has had most of the useful functionality of a spreadsheet program since the late 80s or early 90s, including formulas, charts, and graphs. It is still the most powerful word processing program available, and I still use it. I won’t have Office or Excel cluttering up my computer. I have OpenOffice (free) just for creating PowerPoint presentations for others.

Bill Gates got his computer monopoly and convinced company management to buy Word even though the actual users wanted to keep WordPerfect. Management where I worked would ask for something in Word, and we would have to tell them that Word couldn’t do it, but WordPerfect could have. As just one example, we needed to duplicate some government forms so attorneys could fill them out on the computer. Word could not do fractional font sizes, such as 6.7, or kerning. WordPerfect could. When I left the company, they were still having problems with paragraph numbering in wills and trusts. I don’t remember how many pages I wrote, but I wrote a memo before the conversion to Word outlining all the things that Word could not do, but WordPerfect could. And they were things that we had been doing for years in WordPerfect, ever since the 5.1 DOS and/or Windows versions.

And I am saying this as an expert level user of both programs.

Also, when I was first trained in Lotus 1-2-3 back in the early 1980s, it already included word processing. I knew many people who used it as their only word processing software.

I would rather have individual software programs that are the best, rather than have mediocre software crammed into one bloated mess. Visicalc was a good program that did what it needed to and was small. You can still download Visicalc. The whole package is only 18.7 K. Software today takes up whole CDs or even DVDs. You could put over 35,000 copies of Visicalc on a CD.

That reminds me of another prep item. Download old software, especially DOS software, in case you need to get a really old computer going in the future. I still have all my original disks, all the way back to 5.5″ floppies of DOS 3.0, dBase, and WordPerfect. The last time I checked, Columbia University was still supporting WordPerfect 5.0 for DOS by continuing to write new printer drivers and giving other help.

I thank god for the folks on this site because the have given me some great idea and answers to some of my questions. Thanks.
For me and mine. We are hoping for the best a prepping for the worst. I Pay you are!
I really don’t like the idea of using fire arms on people but I have been working with our group to have the right mind set for this if it comes to it.

In the beginning it will be more riots and things like the Zombies and Leaches coming out of the city because they have depleted all of the food. We will help some and then tell them if they return they will be seen an enemies.

The next stag I see is that of small kingdoms setting up. I just hope that there are some States/Cities that have strong leadership, and the folks are working together for the betterment of the folks living there. Like in the program Jericho.

          • Gopher:
I live about 100 miles south west of Chicago. right between I80 to the north I39 to the west and I57 to the east. I55 to the south.

I worked at the Buffalo Range for two years and when they shut down the pit I lost my job, about two years ago. Hells bells you guys and I might have met.

        • Howdy, Sarge. I feel something in the air also. I’m still doing the same things I’ve been doing for prepping all along until the last minute. All the things mentioned in the article I believe will happen, whether in the same order is another question. I have both seasons of Jericho on DVD.

        • I WOULDNT DO ANYTHING ABOUT SETTING UP A COMMUNITY OR TRYING TO ORGANIZE UNTIL SIX MONTHS OF FULL BLOWN SHTF HAS PASSED. AND THATS UNLIKELY TO EVER HAPPEN.

          • Eisen, that’s one of the stupidest things you’ve ever said on here. why wouldn’t you want to be in a community of like-minded people BEFORE TSHTF? In 6 months or less after the balloon has gone up, 90% of the population will be gone. You’d be hard-pressed to find anyone still alive in your area at that point.

            • THATS EXACTLY THE POINT. JUST BECAUSE YOURE A PREPPER DOESNT GUARANTEE YOU HAVE THE MENTAL STABILITY TO GET THROUGH IT. ONLY BE IN A GROUP WITH PROVEN PERSONALITIES.

              • I have to agree with you, Eisenkreuz.

Helluva difference between Walking the Walk,

                and Talking the Talk ……

              • Eisen, although you make a valid point, I have to question whether YOU have the mental stability to survive any post-SHTF scenario. I know I have the stability to get thru it. Plus, I will be in a community with like-minded, proven personalities called my FAMILY. I know exactly what I’m talking about. They’ve probably FORGOTTEN more about survival than YOU will ever learn. Every single one of them learned how to handle weapons, hunt, fish, forage, etc. at the earliest possible age and pass on those skills to their own kids. Any one of them could run circles around you when it comes to surviving adverse situations. You wouldn’t stand a chance.

                • Tell’em Cuz! Heck I remember when you use to come over to our house every Sunday and eat Chicken, Shit.

                  • NGIC, I’m just going to call you idiot from now on. that’s the only part of your name that’s accurate.

                • I dunno BH, I have to agree with your first response. Trying to ride out a shtf scenario alone, much less for 6 months is a fools folly.

                  • yuh gotta sleep SOMETIME!

                  • Any Mouse, if my plan works right, I WON’T be alone in any post-SHTF scenario.

                • IMHO Eisen treats people like S**T. In a SHTF condition I’d shoot him in the back just to get rid of him. Who needs people like him? If during the collape of the whole world we cannot improve the P’s & Q’s of the race why bother?

              • Eisen. Having those connections BEFORE a crisis increases an individuals chance of survival. Diverse skill sets and perceptions allow for a wider awareness and multifaceted approach when it comes to problem solving.

With community also comes security, particularly if you plan on hunkering down and riding out the crisis. Humans need to rest on a semi regular basis and adrenaline will only carry you so far. I don’t perceive from any of your posts that you possess the skill set necessary to pull off what you propose.

                • his MOUTH will be HIS downfall.

                  • Eisen, that’s my plan to trust family in SHTF; I’m not disputing that point at all.

                  • buttcrack, I believe that.

                • BULLSHIT. I NEVER TRUST ANYONE BUT FAMILY AND LIFELONG FRIENDS IN SHTF. THAT COMMUNITY SHIT IS A DANGEROUS PROPOSITION. THE PEOPLE ARE NOT GOING TO COME TOGETHER TO SOLVE PROBLEMS. COMMUNITY WILL CREATE PROBLEMS.

                  • So you do have a small community/tribe then.

Never say never, when you do a deity laughs.

                  • Do you really need to scream? Just say it…don’t spray it.

That’s dumb! You can’t do it alone. for your own good find a group. PLEASE!!!
                Sgt.

                • WHO THE HELL SAID I WAS ALONE? WHAT I SAID WAS NOT TO GET TOGETHER WITH PEOPLE BEYOND FAMILY AND LIFELONG FRIENDS. YOU CANT TRUST THE STABILITY OF THAT KIND OF GROUP, PREPPERS OR NO.

That message right there implies that you are alone. Any group larger than an individual is a community/tribe.

I disagree with you. I have built a group of people that I trust with my life and they with me.
I you have a family of 200 that are like minded and you base this on your group that will get you by for a while. You will have to make alliances with other groups. If you wait 6 months it might be too late. As I see it and I might be wrong. The Soon The Better!

If you think that being all “Billy Bad-ass” is going to get you through when you are lonely, cold, bored, frustrated, INJURED and tired you are in for one heck of a rude awakening.

I have news for you, in a post internet society (that is a subject for a whole other discussion) if you think you will grab an old cb or ham radio and perpetuate the same behavior that you exhibit here, they will come find you and deal with you summarily. And by they I mean more experienced operators skilled in “fox hunting”

              • eisenkrunch, you lost your credibility when you threw a bottle of whiskey and the car keys at your teenagers when they received their drivers liscences! yer the kinda guy that would kick mickey mouse down a flight of stairs in front of a class of firstgraders, just for the “fun” of it.

        • very important to MAKE your family/community THINK about what it’s going to be like to TAKE a life when it comes to that…if you haven’t at least given it some thought, it WILL make you hesitate. i think about it often, what i will do if i see someone standing in MY house in the dark that doesn’t BELONG there….and make SURE it’s not yer teenage son sneaking BACK into the house…(sh)it happens….and what will you do AFTER you’ve shot them…and by all means teach them to NOT ignore unususal noises…investigate! i had a friend was home-invasioned. she HEARD a noise in bathroom like wind blowing the mini-blinds…turned out it was the guy coming through the window.

      11. Prep this! Glock just came out with the model 41. A long slide .45 acp. Barrel 5.31 in.. I’ll have to sell something in order to get it.

        • YOU WOULD THINK THEY COULD MAKE ANOTHER COLOR BESIDES BLACK BY NOW

AND HOW ABOUT A PISTOL THAT YOU CAN EASILY CHANGE CALIBERS ON BY CHANGING THE BARRELS

          • Eisen, you’re on a roll today. are you wanting a pink gun?

            • Remember I have quite of few pick glock. And some in blue too. Goes with my eyes.

          • Iron Cross, They have dark earth color available sometimes. I think .40 cal. is interchangeable with another caliber that’s has slipped my mind right now.

            • .357 sig

          • Ever hear of Cerakote, can make anything almost any color you want.

          • @eisen. look up Thompson center firearms. One of the most fun weapons I’ve ever fired is my buddies Thompson center pistol, chambered in .243. I can’t shoot it without laughing. He can swap the barrel for any number of calibers. the biggest disadvantage Is that it is single shot.

          • E.
Get any 357 sig pistol and a 40 Cal barrel (or vise versa) and you can interchange them. and use the same mag.
            Sgt.

            • I prefer the .357 sig. Being shaped like a rifle cartridge, it is more accurate and less likely to jamb.

        • Whoa up there mauldy! Give that 41 some time. I have long learned that when this new stuff comes out, its best to let others rush in and feed at the trough. Most times it doesn’t take long for the new kid to lose his ‘shine’. Let the others rush in. Be patient and wait. If it proves itself, there will be some who fall on hard times and need to part with it, allowing you to come in and get one that is pristine (little used) but at a much better price. Been doing this for over 35 years.

          • Good idea. Glocks I’ve had are pretty good, right out of the box though.

          • Agreed Pat, my dumbass big bro rushed out and bought the 45 GAP and now is looking at a dead caliber and an all but worthless piece.

            • I love my Glock.

            • i bought one of those for 200 bucks a year or so ago…that’s maybe what HE was thinkin’. i thought it was a nice shooter…and had no trouble finding ammo for it.

        • maudy, Glock just came out with a small .380 that has just been released to the public. It was originally for LEOs.

          • Jim, I noticed that. I don’t know why they couldn’t sell .380’s before. I think it was the 1968 Gun Control Act.

        • I heard they just came out with a 380 too.

          I know, cheap, huh.
Hey guys (ladies know this already).
One carton of 24 tea bags costs about $2.25.(Not me, I buy generic).
So, if you get even 4 glasses of tea from that bag like at my home, the cost was a dime.
I am not giving $2+ for a dime glass of tea.
          Class dismissed!! 😉

          • Oh, the cost of tea bag was a dime…the cost of a glass of tea was less!!!

            • I know just what you’re saying JayJay. People who are retired, or still working but for static wages, are all in the same boat. We have to keep finding ways to save. And, sometimes, we simply have to adjust our lifestyles down a peg or two. Prices never seem to stop rising.
I’ve usually got the little fridge on the truck stocked well, so I don’t have to eat in the truckstops. But about once a week, I’ll go in and sit down at the restaurant. Mostly just to socialize. Still, it’s kind of like sticker shock every time I look at the menu.

              • JUST HURRY UP AND DIE ALREADY

Last night home canned green beans given to us.
Round steak/roast(bought @ the Piggly-Wiggly @ $20 for a full box of frozen out of date meat–dee–lish-us) in mushrooms, cream of mushroom soup, and beef bouillon in oven for 2 hours. Cornbread—that’s it!!!
                Tonight???
Egg Noodles with last night’s round steak roast/gravy from the soup, crescent rolls, and tea—that’s it!!
                Oh, banana bread for dessert.
Can I do better?? Ahhh, can’t get any better than home made, home cooked meals.(not the crescent rolls 🙂

                • That $30 saved by eating at home/not eating out goes into our sock drawer for homeowner’s, property taxes for the next few years.
Nah, I ain’t worried about mortgage–we can be the care givers of this house and protect against vandalism…the smart way banks think. Or should.

                • My grandfather made the best steak I’ve ever tasted. He’d put the steak in a cheesecloth bag, hang it on the clothesline outside for about 30 minutes (in the Texas summer sun) and then bring it in and fry it.

              • @ Smokin Okie : Exactly. When I first drove Truck out of a Pittsburgh PA in the late 70’s , a bottomless cup of coffee at Eat ‘N Park ( local Shoney’s type Big Boy Franchise)…was 27 cents !
I cringe when I order a large coffee at MickyDees & it is like $1.99. Or worse than that….when co-workers come to the office with an almost $4.00 cup of Starbucks …… I just can’t believe how much things have gone up…..and the velocity in price increases currently . I think we all need to enjoy today….because tomorrow will probably be worse. Just imagine….that before long these will be referred to as “the good old days” ….

          • i tell my kids if they get drinks and fries and all that foo foo stuff with lunch, we only get to eat out half as often. and it’s true! water is much better for you than soda anyway.

            • We always get “senior drinks.” Some places charge 39 cents and one place gives us senior drinks for free. Even though they are small, you can get all the refills you want.

          • The cost of the food is not as important as the cost of labor and overhead. The restaurants have to stay in business. Only way to do that is to have minimum prices on items.

If they are paying $15/hour for labor, and the restaurant has 3-5 staff, they have to get enough customers and food sold to cover those costs.

If you are basing your analysis on a cup of tea, it might be better to include food and judge by the whole meal cost. Taxes also add.

      13. Also, they’ll probably due what Mexico and Russia did. Turn in 10 dollars and get 1 new one back from the government. Read an article about this today. The IMF, EU, China and the USA are looking at new currencies and restructuring government debt.

        • ya maudy , watch the “Amero” currency roll in when they ram the NAU down our pie holes .
Dont think that there isnt a bigger picture here.

        • Which really questions the plan of having property taxes for the next 2 years tucked away..and how about the homeowner’s??
This fact above makes us all want to use those saved dollars now…damned if we do, damned if we don’t my dad used to say.

          • Well, if I’m going to hell, I might as well do it MY WAY.

New currency has another benefit for government. The underground economy comes to a halt. Those untaxed dollars piled up over the years now must be traded in for new currency. The IRS will be asking, “Just where did you get that”? Uncle Sam has previous experience dealing with this as it was done as a matter of routine around US Military bases in combat zones to combat the black market.

          • Kevin2, I think they limit the amount you can turn in, if it’s not already in a bank.

            • Its either limited by statute or limited by legalities when one wishes to avoid an income tax evasion charge. There will be people in cash businesses that will get their family (extended) and friends to exchange these funds for a price. Regardless the assets of everyone will be known post currency exchange.

A friends wife that lived through times of economic uncertainty in Belarus post USSR said gold remained a means of exchange in the underground economy.

      14. today I pledge not to worry about it. Why? It’s my birthday and I plan to enjoy a good steak and Italian Crème Cake and my family.

Tomorrow back to the real world, but for today, I am enjoying a few new books, the paper kind, not the electronic crap.

So how do you store flour? I got some on sale and I have a lot of it now. How to store it?

I hope everyone else is having a great day.

        • waterislife–my way is not everyone’s way.
          Take it or leave it.
I have flour in 5 gallon buckets with Diatomaceous Earth spread in between. NO absorbers, no mylar bags, no freezing for me. It’s been good since 2008…what else can I say?
I also got a vacuum sealer and used the jar attachment to reseal(yes, I had oven sealed mason jars of flour)the cases of jars.
Easier with the mason quarts because you can open one jar at a time and not fool with the buckets—buckets are my long term storage.
          Class dismissed! 😉

        • waterislife, Happy Birthday! I sure hope your meal is all you would hope it would be. There ain’t nothing any finer than a fine meal, a good wine, bourbon, scotch or other, and a fine smoke( IF YOU’VE A MIND TO). Hope your evening is quiet and enjoyable.

          • Waterislife, HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

        • waterislife…you talkin ’bout cake with walnuts and coconut? like i made for MY birthday last week? it’s my favorite cake EVUHHH!it stays moist for days and SOO yummy. i thought i was the only one left that knew what it was. BTW, i just used flour to make it that i’ve had in just a 5 gallon bucket for probly 9 months…and made bread too….you gotta put that cake recipe in HERE!!!

          • best damn cake there is…i use walnuts..stays moist for several days
            Italian Cream Cake
            {3-layer cake, serves 12}

            for the cake:
            2 cups sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter, room temperature
1/2 cup vegetable or canola oil
5 eggs, separated and at room temperature
            1 teaspoon baking soda
            1 cup buttermilk, room temperature
            2 cups flour
            1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
            1 cup angel flake coconut
            1 teaspoon vanilla

            for the frosting:
            1 & 1/2 cups chopped pecans
            12 oz mascarpone, room temperature
4 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
2 TBSP unsalted butter, room temperature
1 lb. + 1/4 cup powdered sugar, divided
            pinch kosher salt
            1 teaspoon vanilla

Butter three 9″ round cake pans, line the bottoms with parchment. Butter the parchment and flour the pans. Set aside. Preheat oven to 350.

Cream together the sugar, butter and oil. Add in the egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Stir the soda into the buttermilk. Add the flour and buttermilk alternately, beginning and ending with the flour. Add the salt with the last addition of the flour. Fold in the coconut and vanilla.

Beat the egg whites in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form. In three additions, fold into the batter.

Pour into the prepared pans and bake for 25 minutes or until done. Remove to wire cooling racks and let cool in the pans for 10 minutes. Remove from the pans and let cool completely.

            make the frosting:
Place the pecans on a cookie sheet in a single layer. Bake at 350 for 4-6 minutes, until fragrant and toasted. Remove from the pan and let cool completely.

Cream together the mascarpone, cream cheese and butter. Beat in the 1 pound of sugar, pinch salt and vanilla until smooth and combined. Remove 1/2 cup of frosting for piping and stir in the remaining 1/4 cup sugar to thicken.

Stir the pecans into the remaining frosting.

Spread about 1/2 cup of frosting between each layer of the cake. Use the remaining to go around the sides and top of the cake. Pipe a border with the reserved frosting.

I do the very heavy 1 gal bags that LDS sells with 02 absorbers in 5 gal buckets. You can also freeze it. I stick the whole bag of flour in,add an absorber, squish the flour down and heat seal with a hot iron. leaving the paper sack on the flour keeps the flour dust from blowing on the seal and preventing a good seal.

          good luck

          Country girl

          • I freeze bags of flour or cornmeal for a week or so before sticking them in the FoodSaver bags with an oxygen absorber and some diatomaceous earth… seems to be working so far.

        • Just be sure to freeze it for 3 to 5 days so you kill all of the larva that’s waiting in there to hatch out. Even if you purchase the big bags, like I do, then divide it up into one gallon freezer bags and if you are short on room just freeze one or two at a time. Otherwise I guarantee you will have “extra protein” in the flour when you open it up “later.” It’s been said but after the “freeze” and the COMPLETE thawing, pour it in the mylar bags with some O2 absorbers in a plastic bucket. It will last for a LONG time stored that way.

      15. The problem is- this green toilet paper we call money has no value anymore. Been trying to get that through to the boss for a couple years now. He just smiles, lights a $5 cigar, and says “Times are tough everywhere boys. We all gotta tighten our belts.”
Looks to me like he’s gonna have to start skipping the buffet if he ever has to tighten his.

Meanwhile, in the cozy alternate universe which I escape to more and more frequently, things are looking up. Uncle Jed says we’re havin’ possum stew for supper, Granny got a fresh batch goin’ at the still, and I just found out, me and Ellie May ain’t actually blood relatives (so, they’ll probably drop the charges).

        Life is good!

        • Sure is good to hear ’bout you and Ellie May. Was worried if they brought you up on the relative humidity charge.

        • You and Ellie May???
          Here is her response…

          Pregnancy Test
A blonde came running up to her husband in the driveway as he came home from work just jumping for joy. He didn’t know why she was jumping for joy but thought, what the heck, and started jumping up and down with her.
She said, “Honey, I have some really great news for you!”
He said, “Great, tell me what you’re so happy about!”
She stopped jumping and was breathing heavily from all the jumping up and down, when she told him that she was pregnant!
He kissed her and told her, “That’s great! I couldn’t be happier!”
Then, she said, “Oh, honey, there’s more!”
He asked, “What do you mean, ‘more?’”
She said, “Well, we are not having just one baby, we are going to have TWINS!”
Amazed at how she could know so soon after getting pregnant, he asked her how she knew.
She said, “Well, that was the easy part. I went to Wal-Mart and bought the TWIN PACK home pregnancy test kit and BOTH tests came out positive!!”

      16. Everything is contracting but this aint nothing compared to how bad its gonna get.

What happened to the Christmas retail sales reports? I havent seen anything except that retail is down and Sears and Pennys are cutting back. Pennys is closing 33 stores, firing 2,000 people. Thats for now, wait til the other stores sit idle another 6 months or more. Malls keep losing businesses, strip malls are down to a few tenants in most spots around here, and from the bits Ive read online Christmas sales werent great anywhere. What I see aint whats being reported most places. Where are the numbers for holiday sales. Are they hiding the dismal truth?

        • On-line sales account for 6% of total retail sales. If a dying behemoth like JC Penney announces a 20% decline in same store sales and a 20% increase in on-line sales, their total change is still negative 17.6%. And they are still left with 1,100 decaying stores, 100,000 employees, lease payments, debt payments, maintenance costs, utility costs, inventory costs, and pension costs. Their future is so bright they gotta wear a toe tag.

          • JC Penney has decided to stop having a catalog. Many of their older customers still used the catalog to order things but Penney’s has made another dumb move and lost even more of their customers.

          • and if you account for the fact that inflation caused the PRICES to rise around 5%, then they REALLY had their sales down 25%…don’t hold giftcards to long…many retailers will be OUT OF BUSINESS soon!

          • .02
Thanks you got it out before I did. Christmas sales SUCKED THE BIG ONE!!!
            A.S.M.S.
            Sgt.

          • .02, yeah I read that paragraph over at Washingtons blog too. Good post. It really drove home the point that retail is going going soon to be gone as weve known it. Never did understand how so many strip malls could be profitable when theres one every mile or so. And if your areas like where I live most malls are all the same w/ same stores in every one of them. All these empty stores and malls will do for us homeowners is drag our home value down even more. One more nail in the coffin aint it?

Buttcrack, gift cards always scared me for that very reason. If someone holds the card for something special the store might belly up in the meantime. And whats to keep some hack from getting access to the activated cards and spend them online before you redeem yours. Any way to steal your $ is possible now.

Best to have foods and other important materials stored away. Used to be the way to get ahead was to save your money. Now its best to spend it while you can.

            • Calgacus I am really considering putting a for sale by owner out front and taking 20% down and bailing out to warmer climates. Wife is to the point of hating this place all winter and if momma aint happy…anyway, I am really like the gun laws of Arizona and she loves the pictures of the blue skies as here all we hare are clouds and/or chemtrails. The Globe/Miami area is where I am looking. Friend of mine was living in that area and he was a construction bum like me so he saw a lot of area and said he liked it there better than anywhere. Then he killed himself on a Harley.. I sure miss Shorty 🙁

              • .02: AZ is great, especially the small towns by water. Lots of like minded folk and vets. People out here (most) are the “independent, leave me alone and I’ll leave you alone” types, but there is still the old fashioned notion of helping people in need.

When we first moved here, our car got stuck in the sand trying to reach the lake in an out of the way place. There were about 20 people (far) across the way, so I hollered. Wasn’t 10 minutes before several 4wd’s came and pulled us out. Wouldn’t take a dime or anything. They just said to pay it forward.

AZ is beautiful country with a little bit of everything and especially great people.

        • Baltic Dry Index is down something like 30% (don’t quote me exactly on the percentage but it is a good bit) And yes, they are going to try to hide the real numbers for Christmas. This morning on my local channel, WTAE, there was a report that UPS is warning their investors. Some companies are blaming the short shopping season on dismal sales and others are claiming that online sales took over the brick/mortar stores but shipping for both UPS and FedEx were down this year as well so the point is moot that a short shopping season is the reason people were not out spending money at Christmas. People just don’t have the money. Everything is down. Restaurant sales down, construction, previous home and new home sales down, movie theater sales down (although I would blame that on crappy Hollywood movies), and food and fuel are UP, UP, UP. The government and it’s bureau of lies (pick a bureau any bureau) and they are going to keep lying til they just can’t anymore.

          • WTAE ….I remember watching that station for years…when we lived in the Burgh ! That will always be “back home” . I do have to admit though….I really font miss the snow & cold weather.

      17. The first week of January- I had a peek at the wholesale cost of ammunition as our system was updating wholesale/retail price. All ammo prices increased from anywhere of $1.50-$3.50 per box (wholesale).

stock that is normally stays constant has been evaporating. Like oil lamps for example.. We had a nice stock of them, now we’re getting down to 1-2 in stock when normally there’s 30-40 and I’ve not seen a replenishment to bring the stock back to normal.

Stock up and stock deep folks!

        • thanks for the updates, suspect!

      18. The missus just made 16 quarts of chicken soup. Gonna can it in pints and put it up on the shelves. Come March, I aim to hatch out a new flock of chickens (RI Reds) to replace the current 2 1/2 year old birds. Gonna try and hatch out at least 40. When they get to 20-21 weeks, I’ll pare them down to around 18 (including one rooster) and the remaining will either get canned, froze for soups, stews, or dumpling dishes. If the incubator gig don’t pan out I’ll still have time to ride up to Tractor Supply and get my order in.

That being said, ‘Ol Boy… I feel the wind has picked up some. As it has been spoken once before here, “they have plans on the “take down of this country”. Their plans are fluid and don’t hold to a strict schedule. It’s all about timing and sometimes it has to be to their liking and not ours. Stay fluid Rich 99, and keep down wind. A lot of times you can smell it long before you see it coming.

          • jayjay, been saving the essence and fat/skin (plus carcass bones) from the roaster chickens and putting them in containers/freezer bags and placing them in the freezer. Then I’ll get a chance to get enough to make more stock. My wife is aware of things/shtf events, but sometimes she thinks I go too far as far as saving what I save. I’m starting to feel like Dr. Pepper…So misunderstood. My wife’s mother (God love her) was over the other night for dinner and my wife started telling her what I had been doing as far as freezing scrap meat and bones. My MIL proceeded to tell stories of the “Great Depression” when she was a teen and what she went through as far as food, clothes, work and life in general. What it was like to be the grand daughter of a “bootlegger” and live with Grandpa when her own father committed suicide and left her mother pregnant along with five other young children. Folks, I hate to say this but we’re going to relive this an maybe even worse. Some are living it now. With technology the way it is, it can give you knowledge, or leave you blind. Stay informed if you can, keep your face in the wind, your eyes on your maker, and your hand on the butt of your gun.

            • It’s those stories of the Depression that my grandparents talked about and make a real impression on me. I feel like I am talking to the wall at work. The younger group that I work with are obsessed and distracted and get their “news” off of MSNBC . They just don’t get the gist of what we could be looking at here in the near future.

      20. “Those who fail to prepare, prepare to fail”- Truer words never spoken. There are an awful lot of ‘triggers’ being pulled back right now, and I don’t mean guns.

        Food:
There are currently drought disasters in 11 states in the U.S. right now. The announcement by the U.S. Department of Agriculture on Wednesday included counties in Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Kansas, Texas, Utah, Arkansas, Hawaii, Idaho, Oklahoma and California.

The designation means eligible farmers can qualify for low-interest emergency loans from the department. (Great- more DEBT.) The big problem with the drought is that it isn’t even SUMMER yet, and wildfire risks are climbing and food production is dropping-expect to pay a whole lot more for fruits and vegetables. Beef prices are also rapidly climbing.

        WATER:
Of course food is dependent on water, but so is all life.
Poor snowpack is threatening regions dependent on major western rivers, and no amount of wet winter weather in the East can ease the pain, officials said. California snowpack is at approx. 17% which is beyond serious.

The sinuous Colorado River and its slew of man-made reservoirs from the Rockies to southern Arizona are being sapped by 14 years of drought nearly unrivaled in 1,250 years. The trend does not show this being reversed. The Great lakes water levels have been steadily dropping as well as the Ogallala aquifer.
Water from the Ogallala aquifer lies under 175,000 square miles in Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, Wyoming and New Mexico. The aquifer first began declining in the 1960s because of irrigation needs.

        AMMO:
When the last time you saw bricks of .22LR for cheap prices? Think way back…about 3-4 years ago. Those days are gone. It is neither cheap, nor plentiful now. While some specific rounds are coming back down, the prices are still much higher than in the past.

        LIVING EXPENSES:
Obama-don’t Care insurance premiums are already impacting thousands of people. My self included. I live in one of the healthiest states in the country, yet my premiums went up over 25%. More gov sponsored rape and pillage. Electricity and fuel costs grow on average in my state by about 3-6% yearly. If you live in Californika, expect those to jump 5-9% this year. Yippee.

There are far more verifiable stats available if one checks the internet, since many of these are in published reports online. The real question you have to ask yourself is- ‘How much have these figures been sugar-coated’ to appease their masters?

      21. ” response to this unprecedented crisis has been to simply “print” more money as is necessary”

        • I’m not a science guy but I can add. The sun may fart and put us in the stone age ASAP but as long as one plus one equals two you can guarantee that the economy will fall apart.

      24. Well folks this is why we prep?
We all know that something is up and we all know that it could happen at any minute.
We all know here, that no one in Washington gives two hoots about us little subjects. if they did, don’t you think they would have stop this crap from happening.
Goerge, Thomas, John, Ben, the boys at Valley Forge, Lexington, Boston ect. are all dead and rolling in thier graves right now.
When the money runs out and the SHTF be thankful you were reading the post on this page and you did some preparing. At least you are going to make it a lot farther than those people that are saying all is well, when really they should be saying everything is going to he–!!!!!

      25. Out of these 6 things, which ones will the cops be involved in. Out of those, which ones will they actually be on your side?

◾Travel Restrictions – not on our side
◾Confiscation of wealth – not on our side
◾Food Shortages – not on our side
◾Squatters Rebellions – only on the banks behalf, not on our side
◾Riots – They will not risk their life to save ours
◾Martial Law – They will be stacked and eager to perform no knock warrants.

        • LEO’s better wake up and repent because they’re turning into a glowing neon bullseye. To all the good officers, throw off your uniforms or mark yourself with a “white hat” because when it starts it’ll be bloody.

          • Tood and Faith.
When the SHTF or the Bubble brakes, Balloon goes up What ever you call it.
Cops are going to be home with their families. We know with the SHTF its going to be all hell, and If we are not protecting our families who will? Most of us will be in the groups we are affiliated with or just bugging in with the family.
Travel- We are not going to try and stop people from going home after the SHTF.
Conf. wealth.- That’s a civil matter, Bankers will hire thugs to go after that stuff, I won’t stop someone I know that has lived in a house to go and back up the thugs. I’ll back up the family!!!
Food.- Why would we have anything to do with food storage?
Riots- I won’t be on your side if you try to burn or damage my house. After the SHTF these riots are gong to be so big there is no way LEO will be able to stop them it will BE UP TO YOU TO PROTECT YOUR STUFF!!!!
Squatters reb.- After the SHTF We are not going to care where they or you live.
Martial Law- LEO is out of the picture on this. This is Military. Most LEO will resist Martial Law.

Faith I’m not going to throw off my uniform. People in my neighbor hood knows who I am and what I stand for. More than likely they are going to come to me for help. I will help as many as I can. I’ve tried to wear a White Hat for a long time.

Best of luck out there when the SHTF.

      26. This entire materialistic orgy of consumerism has been sustained solely with debt peddled by the Wall Street banking syndicate. The average American consumer met their Waterloo in 2008. Bernanke’s mission was to save bankers, billionaires and politicians. It was not to save the working middle class.

For the retailers of America.. good to have known you but sorry, we b tapped out.

        • .02

Damn that was good. Well said.

          • “I was part of that strange race of people aptly described as spending their lives doing things they detest, to make money they don’t want, to buy things they don’t need, to impress people they don’t like.” – Emile Gauvreau

            • .02, we must be looking at the same websites.

        • Those tens of $billions don’t even amount to the cost of doing business!
JPMorgan/Chase alone made off with some 2 million homes… well over $1 trillion in ill-gotten gains. Add that up with Bank of America, Citibank, Wells Fargo and HSBC… holy crud! We’ve been looted!
And Hillary Clinton helped set that up while Bill was in office.

      27. @Wilson.

Thanks. That was the word I was looking for.

      28. At Walmart, their 64oz bottle of Lamp Oil is now $6. Soon it maybe cheaper to burn dollars.

        • Buy kerosene,it’s a whole lot cheaper

          • How well does kerosene work in oil lamps.

            • Kerosene doesn’t smell as good as lamp oil. I use kerosene, but have some lamp oil put away because it was dirt cheap back when I bought it.

            • it will work
smells , and its a bit more sooty , have to back the wick down to keep the soot from producing, so less light, and the light is more yellow less bright, totally doo able , just not the same

              My opinion

              • High proof alcohol will also burn nice, but that’s if you don’t decide to drink it instead

        • I bought mine 15 years ago, a little over $1 a bottle. The earlier you buy anything now, the more you save. The longer you wait, the less your dollars are worth.

          • Yeah and don’t forget, Postage stamps are going up soon. Money in the bank is only drawing .01%.

            • I wouldn’t buy too many stamps, as the Post Office might close down.

Of course, my stamp collection might go up in value.

              • ummmm, what’s up with “forever stamps”?….they don’t see no inflation in the future?

                • buttcrack, you don’t seem to understand. It means they are “forever going up” unless you buy a bunch. Trekker Out.

      29. Allow me to take this Oppenheimer moment and tell you of a story about the end of the world as you know it…

It all began in a small village on the edge of nowhere. Robert, Robbie as his friends knew him, would go off into the fields to fret away his time thinking of big things…He would…………………..and when he suggested they put one on a rocket to help deflect one of those big rocks that everyone knew was coming…………Years would go by before anyone had seen the smallest sprout emerge without help from uncle Monty………….the rustlers wouldn’t even bother with the 7 legged horsalopes, they were too difficult to ride, but when they would come across a………………..

        As we fade into history….

        • Well…it seems both of my posts on this thread have met some opposition…This one for stating the obvious demise of our species without divine intervention… and the other for defending myself…many are in denial here and the other…just sick and demented…

          • i for one didn’t understand that post on robbie….but remember, i was once beaten by a CHICKEN in a game of tic-tac-toe.

            • for ME, it was like twitter…it’s in ENGLISH, but it didn’t make any SENSE….just sayin’.

      30. The six things mentioned in this article will be the nice things that will happen. The terrible things that will happen are unspeakable because the worst in people will come out.

Also, do not loose sight of what is on going with the weather. If NASA and some experts are right, we have entered a period of little energy being expelled form the sun and can expect more earthquakes, volcanoes, bitterly cold temperatures which will interrupt growing seasons and cause food shortages. The term used is “Cold Sun”.

Everybody be safe…..Going to need a lot of ammo and prayer

      31. The 7th event is global conflicts between nations.

A collapse of the USD is such a great event that it will at least in the short term destabilize the global order (regardless if it needs to be changed). The magnitude of it precludes any reasonably accurate prediction of what would happen because of the dynamics. Its a pretty safe bet that it would at least in places not be good.

        • This time the world economic collapse will be epic is scale. Populations will riot for food and energy around the world while nations will declare war in a desperate attempt to get the masses behind their leaders. Military coups, barbaric gangs, old scores are settled as the world becomes without rule of law. Murder, starvation, dehydration and disease, are just a sample of the misery humans will be facing along with dying political governments lashing out in a desperate attempt to stay in power. The flying wall of lead is going to be stupendous. It is going to be a wild ride and the beer is on ice and the popcorn is buttered, lets rock and roll.

          • .02, continue your prepping all the way to the last minute and beyond if possible. It ain’t gonna be nice, that’s for damned sure.

        • PRISON will be like CLUB MED compared to rest-of-world, when the SHTF!

          • Yep Buttcrack there are many people trying to get back in b/c it is tough out here even for non convicts. Could you imagine trying to get a decent job today with a felony?

        • He seems very laid back and easy going.

          • Yep, Jus’ hanging out waiting of Der Führer to give some marching orders. Doin’ some general instigating in the meanwhile. Just a guess.

            • YOU SHITLICKER,

THE IRON CROSS HAS BEEN A MILITARY DECORATION FROM 1219 TILL THE PRESENT AND HAS NOTHING IN PARTICULAR TO DO WITH NAZIS. GO LOOK AT THE ONE I LEFT ON YOUR MOTHERS DRESSER.

              • You were doing so well until that last sentence.

              • Nazis are easily provoked. They attack by using name calling, profanity and other vulgarities. Lower echelon types of intellectual arguments. “Your a poo-poo head”. For god’s sake man, bring it up a notch.

I refuse to fight an intellectual battle with an unarmed man.

              • Eisen, it is a mystery to me why you start every post with an insult? Are you mentally challenged or something?

          • and a little “tetched” in the haid, that eisenkranch.

            • BC, he is right about the Iron Cross. that medal goes way the hell back centuries before the Nazis. Sometimes he is right about certain things. But I still think he’s a fruitcake on a lot of other things.

        • Not necessarily rednek.

From reading maybe 100 of his posts I think Eisen is some species of libertarian.

Iron Cross in its WW2 connotation doesn’t necessarily indicate a nazi. Erwin Rommel, their tank genius, wore the highest grade of Iron Cross they had. He was involved in the plot to kill Hitler. He was given the option of killing himself or his family would be harmed. Doesn’t sound like a gung-ho nazi to me.

Just as a tangent, I like the translated lyrics to Der Panzer Lieder. Warrior spirit is where you find it. The Foreign Legion adapted the tune for its own lyrics.

      34. Today I was taking a long walk and a came upon a sand pile and all of a sudden I started to think about all this about an economic collapse. I said to myself I can measure the amount of sand grains based on their coarseness, weight of a certain amount of volume and I can use this to put into a hour glass and even calculate time based on how much it would pour through the bottle neck in the hour glass. This is what is called known tangible numbers that I can plug in.

Then I started to think about how there was not an article on this site for 3 days and I said to myself, please Mac don’t post another economic collapse article today, please. This is because of this analogy with the sand and known numbers. We have no clue when the economic problems will really begin.

NONE OF US ACTUALLY KNOW THE TRUE NUMBERS OF WHAT IS ACTUALLY GOING ON. THERE ARE NO TANGIBLE FIGURES TO GO BY TO ESTIMATE VOLUME OR THE TIME IN WHICH THE SAND HAS RUN OUT FOR THE ECONOMY. “THIS IS THE PROBLEM AND THE DANGER OF CONTINUING TO INSIST THAT THE ECONOMY IS FINALLY ON THE CUSP OF FAILING”

Is it that bad, or is it worse. We don’t know because there is no way of actually counting what is being used with this fiat currency and the monetary system as a whole. It would be the same as not knowing anything about the horses at a horse race and attmepting to bet on the winner. Without known verifiable figures and facts to plug into an equation, all of this is a “guessimation” based on speculation. This is why these calls that an economical collapse continue to fail to manifest themselves. We are not given the true numbers and the true circumstances at which those numbers are used.

Best advice, prepare for ALL possibilities of a SHTF event. Forget about focusing on one specific event, especially an event that has not had any real hits to accuracy as occurring like such a catastrophic event it would be. I for one think we should be focusing right now on prepping, and there should be more articles focusing on the solutions of survival rathern than speculation on issues that we cannot be sure what is really going on without the numbers to support them.

I am personally getting real nervous about the world, especially about the destruction of the Constitution and the overall craziness of other countries and the viruses floating around out there. How many of you out there want a few more solutions to your survival chances rather than all of this speculation about what could happen, especially about issues that continue to fail to occur year after year?

        • I got the feeling most of the peeps would rather have some planning than more of the same. I keep coming here but its mostly the same shit different day. Im like you, not reading much about the planning phases or many ideas except in comments so most time is spent reading them.
Got to remember this a business site to generate money for its owner. Higher traffic means bigger bucks. Writing up posts on plans and going into areas that take research are harder to do than just restating what kind of shit might hit that fan. Survivalblog is the top dog for survival and this site is probably tops for shit speculation. This or the Alex Jones. I get most of my ideas and info at other sites and a few of the folks here gave me some links. It is what it is.

          • I like survivalblog too. I try and balance it with Modern Survival Blog and a combination of low tech magazine and no tech magazine.

            • Read there too Any Mouse. Give prepperwebsite a look. Link on the left. Articles are listed there and saves time by picking what looks good to read. Daily changes. Best thing is they all keep us on track in one way or another.

          • like i said, “i never repeat myself”. there are people waking up every day, hungry for information, and this is a GREAT place to get SOME of it! it’s not a one website fits all thing when it comes to readin’ bout the excrement contacting the mass of rotating twisted metal. i LEARN something EVERY time i read this site including comments section…and i been reading it for several YEARS. you MIGHT even have FUN with it!

      35. Both Clinton’s have disposed of many more lives than that. Just look up the list, it’s available. Obama is covering the crimes, besides his own crimes, the treasonous and murderous crimes of the Bush and Clinton families. Going back to Poppy Bush and including Obama, this criminal cabal has controlled the white house now for 28 years after Obama’s term ends. Some say it goes farther back to include Carter, Ford and Nixon. How people could actually vote in the female Clinton is scary indeed. I guess it is the psyche of a black man, then a woman, equal opportunity skullduggery.

        • the clinton chronicles. was the title of the DVD a friend had a few years ago, as i recall. and in the interest of full disclosure, here is a link debunking it also.

Frederic Bastiat, 1801-1850. And, why yes, you ARE correct! Leftists STILL have no clue why this has never worked, and can never work

      37. There’s nothing new under the sun. Most likely no one we know has the wherewithal to alter the course. .gov is patching, manipulating and flat out lying about economic numbers that are pushed to the public. Just trying to keep the calm before the storm around a little longer. Knowing this, and most folks do, use the “knowledge is power” mindset and prepare for the most likely outcome.

Beware of false knowledge; it is more dangerous than ignorance.
        George Bernard Shaw

Si vis pacem, para bellum! If you want peace, prepare for war

        • GEORGE BERNARD SHAW WAS IN LOVE WITH HITLER AND STALIN

          • Eisen, I agree with you 1,000,000% about George Bernard Shaw. He really was one deranged human!

      38. Have others noticed this about the site?

One off the subject topic is where is the recent post of comments? There was always the last 10 comments posted on the right side and there is not this anymore, at least on my computer. If and when there is a true emergency that others might not see, we need to know about it. I use to check these 10 most recent comments to see about any breaking news that someone might have come across that I had not. up to the date on world events is crucial to us getting a jump on a SHTF event. I hope this is repaired soon because I and others might miss someone trying to tell us something if it is hidden somewhere in the hundreds of comments.

        • Lost that last week and I dont have the time to re read every comment to catch new ones. Aint my site though. It is what it is.

        • yep, lost it too

        • B.I., I never saw recent comments posted to the right side, however, I do notice that there is a good bit of drag time from the moment I post a comment to when it shows up in the comments section. I think in a true shtf situation that also could make all of the difference.

      39. BI, I just noticed the anomaly myself. Something smells about this.

        • What for those that don’t do yahoo or google or social networks?
Got a link to this great informative news??
          Thanks. JayJay

      40. BI, I usually go to equity websites for good news and commodity websites for bad news. Then I try to balance them. I scan a lot of business websites, internatonal news sites, open source intel websites, etc. I talk to business men I personally know. I look at my own finances and put everything in pespective. Basically, things are not good, and best I can tell the numbers are getting worse not better. We see no reason for cheer as far as the economy or political situation goes. Accurate info is sometimes hard to find, especailly when there appears to be a great deal of disinformation floating around. My friends fast food restaurant in a suburban mall wouldn’t have much business if it wasn’t for customers with EBT cards. They eat like horses. We are pretty sure the real estate market in most places will take another big hit. we don’t know anybody starting up a new business.

        • Isn’t that just galling….EBT (food stamp) recipients gorging at fast food restaurants IN A MALL!

Our family has NEVER pigged out in a restaurant in a mall. First of all, eating out has always been a treat. Secondly, going to a nice mall is an occasion, not a regular event. We’re not poor — we simply live within our means.

This food stamp abuse nonsense must stop. It’s one thing to appease the underclasses with welfare to keep them from rioting. It’s something else altogether to lavish unnecessary treats for them to enjoy for free while the rest of us, who are paying the bill for those lavish treats, satify ourselves with sitting home and cooking ordinary groceries. These welfare pukes live better than most of the people paying for their costs!

Why aren’t there more reports like this exposing the fraud taking place in food stamps? All the media ever reports is how little they supposedly receive and how difficult it is to make ends meet.

Use of an EBT card at any restaurant, fast food or otherwise, should be prima facie evidence of welfare fraud.

Food stamps should be redeemable for: flour, oil, salt, sugar, yeast, milk, margarine, store brand frozen vegetables, and ordinary ground beef. That’s it.

And with acceptance of food stamps should be the relinquishment of the right to vote.

Please thank the Clintons for beginning the outrageous expansion of food stamps, thereby establishing the groundwork for Obama’s stratospheric expansion of food stamps benefits. Hillary smirks to herself every time she loads up on new jewelry.

      41. I believe that ANY economic collapse will be SECONDARY to a catastrophic event, most likely engineered by the HAARP machine.

        Why?

        They want to cause paralysis.

They want to position the president the way Haarp-created Hurricane Sandy positioned Christie. (It’s all researchable on line.)

Then he will declare Martial Law while delivering the Russian and Chinese soldiers from where they have been stationed in Wyoming, Virginia, and other places.

If you enjoy horror movies, I suggest you read and study Dave Hodges’ posts at his site: http://www.thecommonsenseshow.com for the past thirty days and get a dose of reality.

As Dr. Peck wrote, “Mental health is an ongoing process of dedication to reality at all costs.”

What prices are YOU willing to pay for YOUR mental health, dear reader?

An economic collapse in and of itself will only weaken all national leaders in the eyes of the public…

But a collapse SECONDARY to a MAN-made catastrophic event will position those leaders for a TAKE OVER through Martial Law, putting resisters like you and me on trains with shackles headed for crematoriums at the Fema DEATH camps.

I’ll be waiting to see how many government minions give me the thumbs down.

I love Mac’s site, but the day we fail to connect the DOTS is the day we make ourselves vulnerable to the evil being done IN PLAIN VIEW!

Give me as many thumbs downs as you want: I’m taking a poll to see how many of the enemy reads our posts.

Oh, I almost forgot: don’t be planning any Super Bowl parties, because that is when it will most likely all go down– when every prepper, every survivalist, every gun-toting man and woman will have their eyes glued to funny commercials and a bunch of men carrying a pigskin up and down a field for an insane amount of money.

DVR it while you watch your six.

“All warfare…is based on DECEPTION.” – Sun Tzu, in “The Art of War”

        • @ Lone Ranger. I won’t red thumbs you for trying to help alert people. Something is coming, this is likely. HAARP DID NOT CREATE SANDY. The amount of energy required to start and maintain a hurricane, especially one of this intensity stems from ocean temperatures. This hurricane followed the same patterns of such a hurricane travelling over warm waters. I watched this thing weaken over cooler waters just like it should, and then strengthen over warmer waters. This area was ripe for a hurricane for many years. Hurricanes change the underwater contours of the shorelines and this adds to the water circulation patterns. This area had no real hurricane since the 1980’s impact any of the areas. Like a brush fire, the longer a area is void of a hurricane usually the more intense it will be when it finally hits.

The jet stream pattern was unusual but not unheard of this time of year as it drug the storm west rather than east. Down south this happens all the time, up north not some commonly. The intensity of this had the pressure of a category 4, but the winds of a strong category 1 or weak 2. This is because the isobars were so spread out over such a huge area.

The theory of HAARP is that is superheats the atmosphere likes some conductor of some sort. Even IF this was true, this again is not what fuels and keeps a hurricane going. The water, and you can see this with any hurricane as it travels over warm pockets of water it intensifies. Wind shear of course plays into tearing apart the updrafts of a hurricane, the calmer the wind the better chance it has of becoming more powerful. This means nothing over cold water. IF HAARP can create a hurricane then why has no hurricane defied the rules of a hurricane and formed over cold water, or even stayed a hurricane over cold water?

The other items in your post have some good points. HAARP though is not some Star Trek weapon. Directed towards a point, a narrow point it could affect the area on a limited basis as any beam of energy would. Affect humans in some bizarre way, yes this is possible. Affect huge masses of air and water that generate a hurricane, or affect hundreds of miles of rock mass, not with the present day technology. It is like asking a person to push a 1000 ton boulder without any aid at all but their muscles. Scope of size and power used is really what someone is talking about here.

          • Be Informed From What I understand about HAARP it send waves through the magnosphere. those waves travel until the hit a grid made by chem trails. then they are directed downward. the information is sent on the waves and is sorta like a ultra sound of what is beneath the surface. things like earthquake faults, the magma chamber under a volcano. the oil & water , the bunker or buried school bus ect. It think maybe the government does this to try and keep track of the end of an age earth changes & pole shift we are having? Now Telsa did warn about messing with the magnosphere. I don’t think the harp can be used to purposely create definite weather events with any accuracy. however the magnosphere does drive the jet stream and shelds the planet from space weather. I just don’t approve of disrupting the magnosphere when we are unshure of what random events it will cause. And Its does indeed cause something. The old for every action there is an equal & opposite reaction applies to HAARP.

          • Be Informed, I respect you so much– you are humble, you respect everyone, and you are so knowledgeable!

I learn so much from you.

The only two reasons I respectfully disagree with you about Sandy are a website (can’t recall the name of it now, sorry) I saw that showed HAARP waves/activity just prior to Sandy and that Christ told John Leary [www.johnleary.com] that Sandy generated HAARP.

Wish we were neighbors, because I could get lost for hours listening to you.

        • Just watching the way these supposed elected representatives think they know best what ALL their constituents need and the sheer arrogance exhibited by most of them is enough to cause skepticism,,,
I agree with your take that some catalyst will get the steamroller moving,
Question is how will everyone react? And are you willing to stand for what is right regardless of personal cost?
          The founders did, will you?
If you think preserving some level of status quo to your family now is going to be a long term thing you better re think that one,,,
That or just be ready to accet your medecine because you all will eventually be forced to take it if you dont suck it up and take a stand.

        • ***when every prepper, every survivalist, every gun-toting man and woman will have their eyes glued to funny commercials and a bunch of men carrying a pigskin up and down a field for an insane amount of money.**

      42. What’s happened to the Community Discussion Column on the Righthand side. Trekker Out.

        • @ Mountain Trekker. If there is an attack or something really horrible that happens, we have to assume that by posting a comment at the end of the most recent article that it will be read. This is not good as I have seen many times people alert everyone to a breaking news story. We all need this for what is coming in the future as sometimes event the local crackerjack MSM news is slow to let the people know of something serious. We need this for emergency purposes at least. Wouldn’t you agree?

          • BI–I have so many sites I visit daily, not much happens that I don’t know about.
Seriously, most topics posted here, I have already seen on another site.
This is a GREAT site, but reading others gives us a rounded out idea of today’s problems.
I read several prepper sites daily.
That’s where I learn so much about prepping, water, food, medical supplies, and then take action on those facts.
I don’t have everything I need, but I will be warm, and I will have food to cook with my cookers.

As I said before; I can’t change what is coming. I just want to know how close it is and be ready every way I can.
            Peace…JayJay

            • Lots of us , at least for me,,, keep this stuff in the perifory, life goes on, most of the time this is nothing more than amusement as opposed to being any sort of life or death info,,,
Something happening in NJ has little to no direct effect on me sitting out here watching the trades blow the clouds by, this goes for so many things in so many locations,,,
Financial chaos, natural disasters etc,, etc,,, government bullshit,

        • I think I’ll pass. If I can’t physically hold it, it probably doesn’t really exist.

      45. @ Calgacus. I don’t mind speculation about the future events, but the beating the dead horse over and over again about the economic collapse is what jaxx wrote about, it is numbing. I think I speak for most everyone out there that we all want more solutions to surviving. Speculations are a good way of watching and being on alert for a terrible disaster. There is though so many other potential SHTF events that deserve at least some more attention.

I for one am extremely alarmed by what is happening with that death from the sea known as Fukushima that is mutanting and poisoning our food supply. The speculation about an economic collapse, something that could be years away, is just that, speculation. The Fukushima toxic death is something that is on going and freaken REAL. There are countless foods that come from the Pacific Ocean that non of us would consider dangerous because it is not a can of tuna or something that swims around. There are many seaweed based combinations for example. Many so called Natrual cereals have sea based by products in them. THIS IS DEATH from a can, package, or whatever. Cancer right in your cupboard. How about an article or two about this?

I have not seen an article in a long time about the Middle East. Israel is simply not going to allow mass production of nukes from Iran, and I see threats from Israel all the time about striking Iran and that the military option is always open all over the news sites over there such as Ynet news.

I like Mac, but when I was walking yesterday and saw that sand pile it hit me, that we have no clue about just how much debt and how much money is floating around out there. There is no way of measuring this phantom money, and if you can’t measure it there is no reasonable way of formulating any type of logical assumption when and even how bad any economic collapse would be. I then said to myself, please Mac not one of these articles today, anything else. Then I saw this and said to myself I had to put in my two cents worth. There is so many other issues that affect us right now that how tremendous seriousness, like Fukushima poisoned foods that many of us are unaware consuming right now and increasing our risk of cancer.

        • To Be informed. I hear ya on the 2 big problems facing us dead on. Id like more on Fukishima too with some updated facts if they can be found. Seems the information has been hidden from view. All we can do right now is avoid the foods coming from the Pacific and maybe stop eating Kalifornia vegs. That may happen anyway w/ the drought. But a good article or two and a plan to be better prepped sure wont hurt.

Iran is a fucking mess Obama gave us. Your right its all staring right at us and if Iran doesnt use there launch pad against us directly well see war starting w/ Israel.

Death of the economy is just the dried cherry on top of the shit pie well be served.

      46. @ Kulafarmer. There are so few people in office that don’t care about only keeping their job. I could count on one hand the number of people that would risk getting voting out of office to do what is right for the people they are suppose to represent. Taking a stand for the people ONLY, without any hidden agenda is something as rare as snow in Florida. You look at the world right now, and people are in general totally JADED. Over in Syria right now tens of thousands of people are dead, and Christians are constantly being raped, mutilated, beheaded, and yet where is the Christian community coming to rescue as an article right now on Fox News is describing.

I think the ONLY thing that is going to wake up people is a mega event, then it will be too late. This is why I am so worried and almost in a panic state about making sure that the number of preppers/survivalists does not drop below the incredible low rate of 1%. The prepper/survivalist community CANNOT ever become JADED (LISTLESS) and NUMBED. Humanity is lost if this ever occurs.

        • 100% agreement BI
Two of the biggest problems in our world today, ignorance and apathy!
Most are going to be shocked when things fall apart, what the, who the, how the!
Theyll be saying, gee,,, kim and kanye didnt say anything was coming, nor honey booboo!
How could this happen? What shows should we watch to know where to go for help!
          Imbeciles!

      47. BI.

Why talk about it anymore. People are in their own little world and can give a shit about anything till it happens to them.

Like Gov. Cuomo said, That we are not wanted in HIS STATE!

You CLOSET YANKEE’S can haul ass to California and retire.
Give Florida about 5 more years and we will be Like New Jersey. An extended part of New York. It’s Happening right now.

      48. I don’t get why it’s not mentioned that there will be people acting on bounties and going after the bank people, wall street people. I think there will be lone wolves with sniper rifles going after all of them.

      49. The good old days are in the distant past. Americas star has fallen. We are a nation in decline deep in debt. The government,s both federal, state & local are fiscally irresponsible. Most of the citizens are deep in debt and fiscally irresponsible. taking parasites greatly outnumber Making producers. There hasnt been and likely never will be any viable political or ballot box solution,s. So where does that leave us? The current system is simply not sustainable.

      50. Survival tip. Everyones looking for ideas. Ok. Ever spent any time in a real illegal neighborhood? They know how to barter and beat the system. A lot of what they do is just straight up criminal and morally wrong. I.E. stealing from individuals. But the other stuff like ignoring regulations in such large numbers overwhelms the system. We’re going to have to remember that we can overwhelm the system if we ignore and evade enough of their regulations. Lesson for today is overwhelm the system.

        • We are already overwhelming some areas. When was the last time you saw traffic obeying the speed limits, except in a jam?

          • sure true here in hi-desert, ca…the cops are outnumbered, so we don’t have traffic patrol going on here much. they are to busy responding to crime, thank God….and if you don’t like the way we drive? STAY OFF THE DAMNED SIDEWALKS!!!

      51. Oh look- More ‘good cops’ playing ‘bad soldier’. We ALL see what is going on here- no excuses, no lies, no way.

COLUMBIA, SC — Richland County sheriff’s deputies on Monday and Tuesday will conduct a secretive joint exercise around the county with unidentified units from Ft. Bragg, according to the sheriff’s department.

        • I know a youngster in the 513th of the 82nd. He has been told he can expect to deploy against “a well trained force” in April.

      52. They used to drink at the “Pub” in Eutah Mall. Place changed hands a few times. SF types drank there.

      53. Talking about the economic collapse and the politics involved, by whomever’s opinion, is a vital part of the info here on shtf. Prepping for the inevitable is common sense and much can be learned here about survival by daily posters. Keep the mix as it is now, the prepping tips, and any other free speech subjects. I believe the majority of readers like a variety of topics.

      54. @BI,

Everyone has his strengths and weaknesses. You are definitely one of the pillars of this site. Keep posting your thoughts, warnings, analysis of earthquakes & techtonic plates, the economy, the moon phases, etc. This Eagle appreciates it and will keep on prepping for body, soul and spirit. There are too many “closed minded” people who think, “my way or the highway!” Mac is doing his best with what he has. Come what may, don’t despair, just prepare!

      55. Actually, the Fed has been creating closer to $130 billion every month for the past couple of years. Yellen will probably ramp that up at least until she starts looking at the books and decides to head for the hills.

I can’t seem to get out of the local grocery store for much less than $200 for some basics… fruit, meat and a few other things.

      56. We need to restructure life.
No welfare…you life in a camp…and it should suck.

      57. I think one of our biggest problems is all the N!66ers and wet backs.

        • TROLLING by chance?

      58. As I see it, Americans have basically 3 CHOICES:

1.) SECEDE from the UNITED STATES Government

2.) Do as the Europeans did when they realized they could not defeat Tyranny and fled in the 1600’s to North AND South America, bought land and started over.

3.) Revolt against the U.S. Government, close it down, arrest the President and ALL the minions and BRING BACK the Republic.

I am NOT advocating any particular choice BUT based on ALL the evidence I have, MY choice is the European way because I truly don’t see any hope. Too many in the mainstream are too dumbed-down and are virtual puppets of the Criminal psychopaths who want to rule this planet.

THEY will fight, alongside the criminals in the Military and Police against any Freedom Advocates. Even history and what is already happening, tells me that. NO REVOLUTION has ever been truly successful over the long run, as you can witness, even by the American Revolution, now failing, after only 237 years.

I have purchased land in low profile countries with more freedom than in the U.S. such as Northern Ontario,Canada and Paraguay South America.

It is not perfect but better than what is happening now in the U.S. and WILL remain better for much longer.

IN fact Canada was voted one of the TOP 6 FREEST countries in the World and the U.S. never even registered.
