WHERE IS OUR MONEY: $473 Million In Bitcoins Vaporized As Mt. Gox Exchange Files Bankruptcy

Due to inherent problems within the exchange mechanism used to trade the Bitcoin crypto-currency, the Mt. Gox exchange has closed up shop and filed for bankruptcy. Some $473,000,000 worth of BTC has simply vanished in what could be one of the largest digital heists in history. Investigators in Japan are inquiring into the unregulated exchange and the U.S. Federal government is also looking into it, but because of the nature of Bitcoin itself the money is, for all intents and purposes, gone. The operator of the exchange Mark Karpelès, who may or may not be involved in the disappearance of user funds has apologized for “causing trouble.”

If you don’t hold it in your hand, there is always the possibility of counter party risk, as is clearly the case with the Mt. Gox Bitcoin debacle.

Thus, we urge readers to take steps to, at the very least, diversify their personal portfolios into some form of physical goods, be it food, gold, productive real estate or other assets that will maintain some semblance of value in the midst of a crisis, lest you end up facing this:

(Watch at Youtube)

The following report surrounding the collapse of Mt. Gox originally appeared at Zero Hedge

mt-gox-collapseFor a case study of a blistering rise and an absolutely epic fall of an exchange that i) was named after Magic: the Gathering and ii) transacted in a digital currency which many have speculated was conceived by the NSA nearly two decades ago and was used as a honeypot to trap the gullible, look no further than Mt.Gox which after halting withdrawals for the second (and final time) has finally done the honorable thing, and filed for bankruptcy. As the WSJ reports, “Bitcoin exchange Mt. Gox said Friday it was filing for bankruptcy protection after losing almost 750,000 of its customers’ bitcoins, marking the collapse of a marketplace that once dominated trading in the virtual currency. The company said it also lost around 100,000 of its own bitcoins. Together, the lost bitcoins would be worth approximately $473 million at market prices charted by the CoinDesk bitcoin index, although the price of Mt. Gox bitcoin had fallen well below that index after it stopped bitcoin withdrawals in early February.”

The punchline: speaking to reporters at Tokyo District Court Friday after the bankruptcy filing, Mt. Gox owner Mark Karpelès said technical issues had opened the way for fraudulent withdrawals, and he apologized to customers.

“There was some weakness in the system, and the bitcoins have disappeared. I apologize for causing trouble”

So $473 million Bitcoins disappear just like that? But you heard the man – he is sorry. So all is well – and why not: it works for the TBTF banks every day.

What is amazing is that at the time of filing Mt. Gox had outstanding debt of about ¥6.5 billion ($63.6 million), and just as amazing is that it actually had assets worth ¥3.84 billion.

Elsewhere, prices on the CoinDesk index, which tracks the Bitstamp and BTC-e bitcoin exchanges, fell slightly after the announcement but appeared to stave off a larger drop.

Mr. Karpelès, wearing a gray suit and a blue tie, appeared calm while his lawyer did most of the talking, but he appeared to have difficulty finding words when reporters asked him to send a message to his investors, just repeating his apology.

Computer geeks who were hoping to ride the momentum train to riches, and apparently had never heard of gold, were unhappy:

“It is disappointing they hid so much for so long,” said Jonathan Waller, a 30-year-old game developer who said he had had 211 bitcoin in Mt. Gox. “I hope they manage to become a fully-functioning exchange again, but their reputation is so damaged it may not be possible,” he said.

Over the past month, customers from as far away as the U.K. and Australia had come to air their complaints outside the company’s Tokyo offices. One of them, Londoner Kolin Burges, figured in news photos around the world holding a sign saying, “MT GOX—WHERE IS OUR MONEY.”

William Banks, a website developer in Australia, said he lost about 100 bitcoins in Mt. Gox. He had been using the platform since the end of 2012, when he bought some bitcoins at $40 each. Recently, he bought more at about $800 a pop as he became more confident in the virtual currency. He said he has contacted a Japan-based lawyer to look into legal action.

About Mt. Gox’s loss of bitcoins, he said, “That seems impossible to me. It’s just such an astronomical amount of coins to lose.”

Only when redenominated in USD. Remember: BTC is its own currency so why fret? As for the collapse of this latest Ponzi scheme: if things appear too good to be true (wink wink S&P 500), they usually are.

    • Curious that just when the big banks started getting involved the mega hack-attacks against the exchanges and infrastructure started…

What’s even curiouser is that the value of BTC vs.the USD is actually rising today.

$473 million wiped out and no one really knows how or who did it… Let’s buy more!

Like any pyramid/Ponzy scheme, Bitcoin is doomed to fail.
Those who, like me, remember “MMM” crash in Russia in 1994, understand this well.

Sorry for stating the obvious, but something that does not have its own value, and has only perceived value (that is, agreed-upon value), HAS NO FUCKING VALUE!!!

        • angrycitizen says:

In my very humble opinion, the same fate can be expected for gold and other “precious” metals.
There’s NOTHING that makes them PRECIOUS except perception.
Sure, it is backed by thousands of years of human history, but so do all those made-up “currencies”, except they do not live as long.

I do not have gold, or silver, or anything that I cannot eat or shoot or put on a wound or wear, etc.
If I had thousands of dollars to spare (AFTER I got an underground bunkers with 20 years of stored food, etc.), THEN MAYBE I would consider precious metals.
A bunker is not even in the plans (not nearly enough income), so – no gold for me…

bitcoin has always been a joke. nothing there. period… Who in the fuck would put their trust in something as STUPID as this! Stupid!!!!!

Gold and Silver are real. I know because I can feel it and touch it and play “evil” Silas Marner with it. It’s had value for thousands of years and will, for as long as there are humans. That value may drop or rise but it will ALWAYS have a value.

And as to the comments, there is nothing precious about silver and gold, tell that to Apple for IPads, the medical industry, electronics, etc seriously doubt bit coin will run your precious I phone “Bitconners”!

            • TheGuy says:

I never “placed my trust in it”. My plan was to get a minig rig (not trade in the stuff) and cash out at regular intervals, regardless of price, and buy silver with it. It was all based on payback period for the rig… which thanks largely to Butterfly Labs and their nuclear arms race of GHash… always turned out to be a losing proposition. Drove the difficulty rating asymptotal while the price per coin only rose linearly.

Someone eventually got me a primitive rig to experiment around with. I’ve had it running nonstop since September 2013.

              I think I’ve made like $8… 9_9

Well, it was free. Payback period = zero.

So this is off topic again but here’s another really good recipe using quinoa. We do it without the corn cause my wife is allergic to corn and wheat. We have ended up eating all sorts of strange new things. Mostly simple. Always leftovers cause it’s just the two of us. I really enjoy this. I make it all the time. It’s good with eggs for breakfast.

Black Bean and Quinoa Enchilada Bake

                1 cup uncooked quinoa, rinsed
                2 cups water
                1 tablespoon olive oil
                1 small onion, diced
                3 cloves garlic, minced
1 jalapeño, seeds and ribs removed, diced
1 red pepper, seeds removed, diced
1 orange pepper, seeds removed, diced
                1 cup corn frozen kernels
                Juice of 1 small lime
                1 teaspoon ground cumin
                1 tablespoon chili powder
                1/3 cup chopped cilantro
                Salt and pepper, to taste
2 (15 oz) cans black beans, drained and rinsed
                2 cups red enchilada sauce
                2 cups shredded Mexican cheese
Toppings: Sliced green onions, avocado slices, sour cream, optional

                1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.

                2. Add quinoa and water to a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil for 5 minutes. Turn the heat to low and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until water is absorbed. Remove from heat and fluff with a fork. Cover quinoa and set aside.

                3. In a large skillet, heat the tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the onion, garlic, and jalapeño. Sauté until softened, about 5 minutes. Add in the peppers and corn. Cook for about 3-4 minutes. Add the lime juice, cumin, chili powder, and cilantro. Stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

                4. In a large bowl, add the cooked quinoa and black beans. Add the sautéed vegetable mixture and stir to combine. Pour in the enchilada sauce and stir. Add 1/2 cup shredded cheese.

5.Pour the black bean and quinoa mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with remaining shredded cheese. Cover the pan with foil. Bake for 20 minutes, then remove foil. Bake an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and edges are bubbling. Remove from the oven, and let cool for 10 minutes. Garnish with toppings, if desired. Serve warm.

              That enchelada recipe sounds good,,,

          • Horse'sass says:

The problem is that the minute groups of people get big enough in number, and the level of civilization develops so that human existance is measured beyond the hunter gatherer level, and the number of groups increases, a system of barter always emerges, because people have always traded/exchanged goods and services, and “the goats for bushels of wheat” gets too cumbersome. Eventually, a form of money (store of value) is (re)born, despite the fact that all fiat currencies eventually become extinct. So if a form of money always emerges, what is the best form? Gold/silver have proven themselves as the one monetary constant. Gold especially. It is rare, can not be easily produced or counterfeited for that matter, does not tarnish, can easily be divided into small pieces, is compact, and has all the attributes of an ideal form of money, including universal acknowledgement by all cultures as money. Thus your perception admittedly has merit, and it always gives me pause when I buy a gold Maple Leaf, thinking if I am living in my own little world with no one else, this silly piece of yellow metal is useless!

But of course, I certainly agree with the advice to get all the essentials food, water, protection, shelter, etc squared away first, and then if you have money left over, maybe convert part (25%?) of that fiat checking account/savings account/ or stocks into tangible gold. At least don’t play the bankers’ game of control through fiat.

          • Ryback says:

The whole thing was a bullshit gimmick. Its like when you buy tokens from an arcade. Their worthless. Can only use them in the arcade, but suddenly the arcade burns down, your stuck with shit.

At the time of this writing, my comment about gold having no real value, has 21 votes up and 14 votes down, which means that even on this VERY enlightened site, precisely 40% of readers believe that one chemical element has value of its own.
That is, NOT perceived but REAL value.

Allow me to ask: what makes you think so?..

Is it because Ron Paul says so?

Is it because gold has been used as money for several times longer period of time than any other made-up currency?

In some parallel universe, where things are almost the same, with one difference:
no one gives two shits about gold, while seashells have continued to be used as currency for millenia,
do you think that their system is wrong?
            Because gold *is* money, right?..

GOLD AND SILVER HAS INHERENT VALUE. Get a clue.

              • Urban Dog says:

“Inherent value” implies that an item has a value unique to the item in question. Gold and silver have some inherent value. Both metals have uses in electronic manufacturing. The example of jewelry (plastic to women) comment, makes little sense. The same women would gladly a trade sparkles for food. The only items with “inherent value” are those needed to survive. The BC is of no value other than value ascribed by pump and dump snake salesmen who play certain people for fools. In the case of the BC, it was inflated by rich guys playing musical chairs. If the BC illustrates anything, it shows how easily assets can be manipulated. Don’t hate the player but the game is a bitch.
The true value of PM’s is the cost to mine with a profit margin. Anything exceeding about 30% above the true cost is speculation.

            • javelin says:

You really can’t figure this out???

You seriously do not understand the difference between currency and money???

You can’t grasp that things inherantly have different value so a source or medium is needed to act as a constant with measure and value to facilitate trade????

You think if I’m a blacksmith and just fixed a farmer’s plow or smelted and hammered him a piece of equipment–that I actually would be content with 30 bushels of perishable vegetables as payment??

If you can’t get the basic concept that there has ALWAYS been a need for a vehicle with measurable value to facilitate exchange of goods–( whether it was 5,000 years ago, 1,000 years ago, 100 years ago or in a post-apocalyptic future)then we can’t explain it to you…

If you can’t afford to invest in PM’s..then don’t . Just do what you can to protect and prepare for when the SHTF–but don’t be a hater…Gold and silver will always have value and are perfect instruments for measurable, constant and safe trade….

            • RealAdvice says:

If you believe that tomorrow, universally, people will stop believing that gold is money and/or has value, I will be MORE than happy to take your gold. I’ll even pay for shipping!

I am hoping you say “sea shells” because I have about 500 of them stashed in a trash bag out in my garage. I’ll be over soon to buy your used car.

          • Barn Cat says:

Gold and silver have been valuable for 5,000 years. They maintain their value against other commodities. It’s foolish to think they could become worthless.

There’s a lot of sour grapes from people who can’t afford to buy silver and gold so they say it’s worthless.

PM’s will be valuable during hyperinflation as a way to preserve wealth and also when the country starts to rebuild after the coming economic collapse.

          • Mike says:

            You are correct.

Metals are said to be a storehouse for wealth. Well, the storehouse is NOT the wealth. The actual wealth is commodities and services backed by demand. The storehouse can be anything accepted as such. Old tires, glass beads, art, seeds: just about anything commonly accepted as a representation of commodities and services.

That metals have some magical intrinsic value is insane.

            • javelin says:

Wrong…tires will wear away when used, dry rot and crack when stored away over time and become worthless…

Glass beads can be made by the millions by anyone with the equipment and the supply will be flooded and boundless

Seeds…same as the beads but with different production methods.

While all of these things have value and can be traded–as a medium to balance an inequitable trade they don’t work. There is no constancy, no lasting effect or scarcity…all of those things balance will never be able to be established–only people in some simple “horse-trading” or dickering could use them to offset an imbalance between 2 products or services.

            • angrycitizen says:

Gold has always been useful as a bribe of last resort to escape a hell hole.

In recent years it’s been used by refugees from situations as diverse as WW2 Germany,to Biafra, to Afghanistan, to Cuba & Mexico.

A pocketful of gold coins sewn into your clothes will get you passage to somewhere safe and potentially save your life when all else is lost. It may also pay that first month’s lodging in a strange land, to enable you to get on your feet.

That’s the true value of gold for preppers, it’s not got anything to do with greed and profits.

Bitcoin always seemed like a test run to me to see how gullible people were. It was based on absolutely nothing of value at all, even a fiat currency is nominally based on the resources & labour of the citizens of the nation it is based in.

Oldest computer cubicle statement in the book:-

            Garbage in equals garbage out.

It also reminds me of the investment ponzi scheme that brought down the small nation of Albania in the last decade. Again a pilot test run in people’s utter gullibility and stupidity.

Seeds, education (the aquisition of real skills like butchering, welding, plumbing, gardening NOT gubmint indoctrination), agricultural land, clean water, even good boots count as an investment at this stage. Leave the stck market and fancy financial product type “clever” schemes to the intelligent idiot zombies.

If the foundations of an investment scheme can’t be explained in common sense terms, using plain english then you don’t need a phd in mathematics to know it’s most likely a con. Understand that if you are not an insider (and you aren’t!) then you are not the intended beneficiary of any profits generated. I don’t get why people still don’t get that “they” are not on our side.

Greed is regarded in traditional Christian terms as one of the 7 deadly sins. Deadly at this stage because it creates a haze of stupidity over critical thinking. Don’t fall for a deadly sin – go about your business, minding your own and worry about keeping your kids safe from all the filth out there, not about getting “rich”. Concentrate on maintaining a roof over their heads, food on the kitchen table and shirts on their backs, both now and in the future when you aren’t around to take care of them.

MT, that’s because fiat money is still in play. When the dollar fails and is worthless, silver will be the common mans currency, and gold will be the rich mans currency. Barter will be the neighborhood currency augmented by pm’s.

I agree 100% ReFF. But in the meantime if anybody has any they want to get rid of, I’ll be more than glad to take it. And seems the PM dealers are still glad to send me Gold and Silver for my fiat currency, funny ain’t it. Trekker Out. Semper Paratus!

          • Unreconstructed Southron says:

Mountain T. I never said anything about PM. I just find it hilarious (and very sad) that there’s people out there that actually think electrons are safer than paper. Real money doesn’t gain or decrease in value like FRTs (Federal Reserver Tokens) or Mt. Gox digital tokens. When the value of a currency is controlled by a few men (or a few programmers) it ain’t money; it’s a scam. Period.

      • SmokinOkie says:

Right you are, Mac. Seems more than coincidental that Bitcoin gets shoved around, hacked, attacked, manipulated and plundered just when the big boys start to take notice. If they can’t control it and own it, they will shortly destroy it.
Not that BTC had any intrinsic value of it’s own. It just provided an option away from the legally counterfeited currencies of the world. The banksters will either kill it (after scooping up a few billion in real wealth for themselves) or they will absorb it.
That’s why I never was a big supporter of Bitcoin. The idea itself might have been fine, but you just don’t move in on the gangsters turf and get away with it. (Guido don’t like yous woikin’ dis corner. Best you skeedaddle whiles you can still walk.)

People in the US are unanimously scrambling for .22LR ammo. Much better investment than Bitcoin and in the event that other people no longer see value in it, you can go to the range, have fun, put small game on the table, and defend yourself with (with well-placed shots).

          • lonelonmum says:

Any preppers in the EU should be scrambling for heirloom seeds, while they are still available to purchase!

With food prices still on the rise, our masters are wise to prepping and are doing what they can to ensure they retain total control of our food supply via that old friend – regulation. If they control our food they control us, and if we cannot grow our food we really have no option but to submit to slavery.

The link above explains it all better than I ever can.

While destroying the public’s access to heirloom seeds, the elite have a seed vault buried in a mountain in Norway that will ensure their grandkids continued access to non-gmo healthy food.

        “Land Of Confusion”

        [Originally by Genesis]

I must have dreamed a thousand dreams
Been haunted by a million screams
But I can hear the marching feet
        They’re moving into the street

Now, did you read the news today?
They say the danger has gone away
But I can see the fire’s still alight
        They’re burning into the night

There’s too many men, too many people
        Making too many problems
And there’s not much love to go around
Can’t you see this is a land of confusion?

This is the world we live in
And these are the hands we’re given
Use them and let’s start trying
To make it a place worth living in

Oh, superman, where are you now?
        When everything’s gone wrong somehow?
The men of steel, these men of power
Are losing control by the hour

This is the time, this is the place
So we look for the future
But there’s not much love to go around
Tell me why this is a land of confusion

This is the world we live in
And these are the hands we’re given
Use them and let’s start trying
To make it a place worth living in

        I remember long ago
        When the sun was shining
And all the stars were bright all through the night
In the wake of this madness, as I held you tight
        So long ago

I won’t be coming home tonight
My generation will put it right
        We’re not just making promises
That we know we’ll never keep

There’s too many men, too many people
        Making too many problems
And there’s not much love to go round
Can’t you see this is a land of confusion?

Now, this is the world we live in
And these are the hands we’re given
Use them and let’s start trying
To make it a place worth fighting for

This is the world we live in
And these are the names we’re given
Stand up and let’s start showing
Just where our lives are going to

It wasn’t wiped out. It didn’t vanish. It wasn’t vaporized. The bitcoins that were STOLEN still exist. Just in someone elses hands. Bitcoin is not GLD, SLV or the US Dollar. Bitcoins are not created by bank credits in a fractional reserve bank system. Bitcoin can not be rehypothecated away. After the reset humans will demand a currency. We can have and support Bitcoin, or wait for the IMF to digitize Special Drawing Rights. Bitcoin is a currency that can not be fraudently fractionalized like all these other bankster run frauds, including gold and silver. If you are holding gold and silver understand fractional reserve practices are depressing the prices, so take the opportunity and take advantage. Hold physical metals and support Bitcoin.

Bit coin this week and the dollar next year. Love the south park skit. Folks, pay off debt, buy tangible goods: GOLD, GROUND, GRUB, GUNS. Yes I know you have to invest for the future…. But right now having stuff paid for and stuff stoked up is the most important thing. The great depression… read up on this. Depending on which report you read food has increased 3-7 percent each year over the last five years. Food seems to be a better investment than muni funds. Buying now and eating later will keep more money in your wallet. Property is another good choice. When all else fails you have a roof over your head. Gold is more a stabilizer than an investment. It is good to have once you have the GRUB, and GROUND issue set up. And GUNS help you defend what is yours (along with a good team…). Don’t forget POWER… Solar or wind, not so much for the environment… more for YOUR environment. And as your system grows your utility bill (and dependence on it) shrinks. As for all these other investment schemes and banks….. well good luck. No if you will excuse me I have a mattress to stuff full of gold and silver coins…. PRAY, PLAN, PREP, FORM TEAMS.

    Another scam successfully pulled off!

    • Big time… and that was just one exchange… there are inherent problems with the way Bitcoin itself is mined… and with pools now controlling much of the mining, it is only a matter of time before someone is able to “duplicate” coins… there’s a lot of technical jargon involved, much of which I don’t understand, but apparently once a pool is capable of mining 51% or more of the BTC’s being mined, it is essentially a Doomsday scenario…

They call it the “51% Attack” — and mining pools have “pledged” not to do it… of course, there is someone out there who WILL execute such an attack eventually if they have the opportunity to do so.

Billions of dollars at play here… there are most certainly other BTC related scams in progress right now.

      • flubber says:

This has in fact happened a couple of times, the most recent scare was when a pool called Cex.io came near to the upper 40 percentile.

When that happened, there was an outcry to change from that pool to another, which happened. Their hashrate dropped and danger was averted.

Is it possible in theory? Yes, most certainly. But it is more profitable for a mining pool to mine the currency and sell it than it is to try the attack.

You need to realize that there is millions, if not billions, invested in mining hardware that isn’t good for much else besides mining bitcoin. If a pool was to near 51% or reach and overcome it, and execute a 51% attack, it would hurt the value of bitcoin.

This would in turn generate less profit and potentially make their million dollar ASIC (application specific integrated circuit) machines worthless.

Like the “Liberty Dollar”, any currency that takes an hour to explain instead of 30 seconds to “get”, isn’t going to make it, IMHO. With all the problems with the Federal Reserve Note ( and there ARE plenty ), at least you can still fold it up and put it in your ACTUAL wallet.

    • And everyone can recognize it and knows what to do with it…

    • flubber says:

You can buy physical bitcoin and do the same.

Unlike Federal Reserve notes, bitcoin has a cap of 21 million that will ever come into existence.

It’s not actually that complicated in theory. It’s peer-to-peer currency that uses computational power to mint new coins and facilitate transactions between addresses.

All transactions between addresses are stored in something called the ‘blockchain.’ This ledger is maintained by every computer that has a full bitcoin wallet.

      • My personal view is that no crypto-currency is 100% secure… there exist networks, in my view, that have computational power that we can’t even begin to imagine right now… there is a reason the NSA is building facilities that house acres of computers with Yottabyte capacities… If they haven’t cracked it yet, they will eventually.

And because everything is transferred across digital lines, whether or not you eventually put it into a USB wallet, there does exist a ‘paper trail’ of sorts. Once the code is broken, all past transactions will be accessible.

This holds true for communications that we believe to be “secure” today… I may be sending a 256-bit encrypted email today… But they could crack that encryption 5 years from now and have full access to everything you’ve ever written using it.

I am fairly confident that there are technicians hard at work right now working on breaking this encryption… It’s what the NSA does.. signals intelligence… these guys eat and breathe code-cracking. Breaking Bitcoin is a major prize right now… these guys will do it just for bragging rights.

Nothing in the digital realm is secure. It never has been and never will be.

        • Me here says:

If you want to communicate quietly, use snail mail!

When they finally crack the codes and see all that many here wrote over the past 5 yrs…They are really going to be super wized up persons eh!

I quite worrying of feds tapping phones etc Long ago. I always said they are doing it, and of late I have been vindicated by being proven correct that Yes govnt spies have been tapping phones etc since way back.

So I switched my attitude of former paranoia, to instead I figure maybe if they listen in often, they just may Learn a few things from us they listen in on.

if they do learn, thats good as most folks no matter if they work for govnt or not, once their eyes are opened to truth, sooner or later they re think things they thought they knew for certain. Then its one more person on My/our side of that fence.

Its like when folks worry if they obtain a ccw lic etc they fear being placed on a govnt “List”…Well far as I am concerned, EVERYBODYS on Govnt “Lists” as many Lists as the govnt has we ALL are listed on.

They pre planned all this stuff before we were Born. They are very good at doing it. And we All are on every list govnt and now also Major mega Corp’s have since we were Born.

There is ZERO actual real workable true method of avoiding or out smarting govnt “Lists”.

It may sound swell or good to read or hear the words “Tell them I wave the Benifits” and “I am a Real Person therefore I do not agree with fictional person status etc”.

But in the Real world we All reside in, like or not, all that stuff really is is feel good talk. Because soon as one actually attempts acting it Out….Thats the exact Moment one is going to realize, it just don’t work that way as it sounded on “Paper” or an a “online Forum website”.

First time one trys to hand a cop at a traffic stop a page long “letter” that completely outlines Your true feelings or belifs about “soverign citizens” and Real “person status”…That cop is going to stare at you for a couple seconds in disbelife, then begin to attach handcuffs on both of your hands behind your back.

Then assist you into back seat area of His patrol car for a quick ride to his local jail cells. He’s not likely to even Read past the first sentence of that written out “I wave the benifits” stuff..

As a guy who Has been in an 100% Illeagle Warrentless, Drug Raid by “Cops/feds Mistakes”…I Can assure you who doubt this….In the Real world we do exist in, Nothing You do or say matters a whitt. Once their minds made up to attack you, arrest you, swindle you, Raid your crib(even mistakenly with NO warrent at all present).

All I can say is Good luck if one relies upon any type written page long document that, you wave the corps benifits. Basically “THEY” can and will and DO. Most anything They want at this point. Be it place you on a fed govnt List, tap your phones, emails, buisness affairs etc etc…And untill enough folks, Many Millions, are on board and Ready willing to act to halt such abuses…There is Nothing you or anybody else can do about it all.

Oh sure as some Rambo type say you Can decide on a big shootout with cops or feds. Or try out all that years of Karate moves you learned and honed to perfection.

And we all will Read of it in the local obituaries later. or see it on Live tv news!

That illeagle dope raid I was a victim of was on Live TV news too…but even with all that occured to so violate me and My god given Rights…if I hand a firearm in hand when it went down…I would Not be here typeing. Dead do not type. And I always thought such events were prime choice for greedy lawsuit lawyers out there in americaland.

Guess again! I phoned at least a Hundred lawyers listed in Detroit/dearborn yellow pages books…ALl flat out refused to do a suit against Feds BNDA(now just DEA) and Local cops of several agencies. Many lawyers actually chuckled or laughed out loud at my request to file a suit.

Nobody likes to read nor hear these Facts of life in the good ol’ USA eh…it Is a fact of life though and THEY care Not weather or not we Likes it.

Just Hope I am still alive when enough folks do come together to “FIX IT” all one day.

About The Best ever real Eye opener I ever had of the truth of these things, was when after I got handcuffed, and thrown sideways unto a nearby couch, a Doped to the Hilt Hippe type undercover cop took his ruger .44 Magnum 4in barrel Revolver, Placed it at the back of my Head, then he Kept cocking Back the hammer, and saying “I want to just Kill this fucker Now guys!”…Then he’d slowely drop the hammer so his gun won’t Fire. He repated that 1/2 dozen times within aprox 2-3 minits time frame..

If anything can wake you to real world life, and just how psycopathic those rouge type cops, Fed & Local both are…That type stuff sure will. I honestly believed he was going to Kill me for certain. Instead, when he tired of “Play” shooting me in back of head with a .44 magnum, he pistol whipped my head a few times.

That really showed me a whole New way to view cops in general. Yes I know theres also good cops out there somehweres. I am harder to be convinced now though.

Methinks, very little. May as well be seashells or bottle caps. There will be no “reset” back to anything near where gold and silver are considered valuable.

About a year ago, I quit buying PMs when I realized they would not help me survive what is coming down the pike…total worldwide collapse. The end of Industrial civilization. Snowball/Flying Pig Gear Up For 2014 Race

Having fared poorly in the election of 2012, Snowball, and his running mate, Flying Pig, have announced a ‘listening tour’ to gauge the mood of the electorate in this falls political showdown.
Mr. Ball, affectionately know to his supporters as ‘Snow’ has scheduled a tour beginning in Peoria in mid March. The topic of the tour will be economics, however, Snowball says they will be listening to the needs of the people and nothing will be off the table.
“If they want to talk about the economy, that’s fine. If they want to discuss the firing order in a 1967 in-line 6 for a Dodge pickup, that’s fine. If they just want to tell us a good recipe for banana shortbread, we’ll be glad to hear them.”
“This is about the people, not us,” chimed in the perennial running mate, Flying Pig, “We’ll talk about ANYTHING….well except barbecue, that’s a touchy subject for me.”
The tour will continue with stops in Sandusky Ohio, Bugtussle Oklahoma, and other major cities in late March. Insiders hint strongly there could be an announcement of their official candidacy by mid April. The two are rumored to be running for EVERY seat in the US Congress, though how the pair could hold more than 465 seats is not yet clear.
Fundraising continues as well. Boosters nation-wide have gathered more than 2 million lbs of aluminum cans to trade for cash in an effort to jump start the campaign. Most of the cans have been personally emptied by supporters of the pair, a sure sign of the incredible loyalty of their fans.
Unlike the failed bid of 2012 however, the two have clearly stated that “I’ll Drink To That” will not be a campaign slogan again this time around.
When asked what their election platform would be, Mr Pig quickly answered, “We pledge to do the exact opposite of what’s been done for the past decade. Economically, socially, foreign policy… you name it. We promise to undo as much as possible, and to take a 180 degree turn in EVERY issue. We want to restore Constitutional liberties to this great nation!”
With that, a shout went up from the crowd. Several reporters, as well as the hundreds of supporters in attendance joined Snowball in loudly affirming his running mate, “I’ll Drink To That!”

Documents recovered from an ornamental lake at the extravagant home of Ukraine’s fugitive president are being dried out in a sauna in a bid to uncover some of the billions of dollars purported to have gone missing under his kleptocratic regime.

When Viktor Yanukovich fled his sprawling luxury estate in Mezhyhirya, an hours drive from Kiev,
hundreds of papers were hurriedly thrown into the water to destroy evidence.

But many were in plastic folders, meaning some documents were still legible and they are now being closely analysed.

The Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project told MailOnline: ‘There are some important stories in the documents that show exactly how the government of Ukraine has been operating.

Back during the first dot com bubble, I had significant funds tied up in an internet company. All of a sudden they declared bankruptcy and the company was sold for less than a penny on the dollar. I wound up loosing it all, but in the end learned a valuable lesson. About six months later the original owner purchased the company back and was selling stocks in the company again. Revealed: The forgotten treaty which could drag the US and UK into WAR with Russia if Putin’s troops intervene in Ukraine

•The agreement sees signatories promise to protect Ukraine’s borders

•It was signed by Bill Clinton, John Major, Boris Yeltsin and Leonid Kuchma in 1994
•Ukrainian parliament has now reached out directly to all the countries who signed the treaty
•The US and Britain have both made ‘crisis calls’ to President Putin to warn him to respect territorial boundaries
•NATO also asked Russia not to take action that could escalate tension

•However Moscow responded by telling the organization to ‘refrain’ from provocative statements on Ukraine and respect its ‘non-bloc’ status

A treaty signed in 1994 by the US and Britain could pull both countries into a war to protect Ukraine if Putin’s troops intervene.

Bill Clinton, John Major, Boris Yeltsin and Leonid Kuchma – the then-rulers of the USA, UK, Russia and Ukraine – agreed to the The Budapest Memorandum as part of the denuclearization of former Soviet republics after the dissolution of the Soviet Union

Technically it means that if Russia has invaded Ukraine then it would be difficult for the US and Britain to avoid going to war.

Sir Tony Brenton, who served as British Ambassador from 2004 to 2008, said that war could be an option ‘if we do conclude the [Budapest] Memorandum is legally binding.’

It promises to protect Ukraine’s borders, in return for Ukraine giving up its nuclear weapons.

Today Kiev has demanded the agreement is activated after insisting their borders had been violated.

former British Ambassador to Moscow Sir Tony Brenton, who served as British Ambassador from 2004 to 2008, said in an interview that war could be an option ‘if we do conclude the [Budapest] Memorandum is legally binding.’

former British Ambassador to Moscow Sir Tony Brenton, who served as British Ambassador from 2004 to 2008, said in an interview that war could be an option ‘if we do conclude the [Budapest] Memorandum is legally binding.’

In response Mr Brenton said in a BBC radio interview: ‘If indeed this is a Russian invasion of Crimea and if we do conclude the [Budapest] Memorandum is legally binding then it’s very difficult to avoid the conclusion that we’re going to go to war with Russia’.

Ukraine accused Russia of a ‘military invasion and occupation’, saying Russian troops have taken up positions around a coast guard

base and two airports on its strategic Crimea peninsula.

Russia kept silent on the accusations, as the crisis deepened between two of Europe’s largest countries.

Any Russian military incursion in Crimea would dramatically raise the stakes in Ukraine’s conflict, which saw pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovych flee last weekend after three months of anti-government protests. Yanukovych vowed Friday at a news conference in Russia to ‘keep fighting for the future of Ukraine,’ though he called any military action ‘unacceptable.’

Moscow has vowed to protect Russian-speaking Ukrainians in Crimea, where it has a major naval base, and Ukraine and the West have warned Russia to stay away.

Russia did not confirm its troops were involved in Friday’s action in Crimea, which would be a major escalation.

In Kiev, Ukraine’s parliament adopted a resolution demanding that Russia halt steps it says are aimed against Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and called for a U.N. Security Council meeting on the crisis.
