Wall Street Admits That A Cyberattack Could Crash Our Banking System At Any Time

This article has been generously contributed by Michael Snyder. You can follow his regular writings, research and analysis at The Economic Collapse Blog and The American Dream. Read his recent book The Beginning of the End to get an idea of what America may look like in the very near future.

Wall Street banks are getting hit by cyber attacks every single minute of every single day.  It is a massive onslaught that is not highly publicized because the bankers do not want to alarm the public.  But as you will see below, one big Wall Street bank is spending 250 million dollars a year just by themselves to combat this growing problem.  The truth is that our financial system is not nearly as stable as most Americans think that it is.  We have become more dependent on technology than ever before, and that comes with a potentially huge downside.  An electromagnetic pulse weapon or an incredibly massive cyberattack could conceivably take down part or all of our banking system at any time.

This week, the mainstream news is reporting on an attack on our major banks that was so massive that the FBI and the Secret Service have decided to get involved.  The following is how Forbes described what is going on…

The FBI and the Secret Service are investigating a huge wave of cyber attacks on Wall Street banks, reportedly including JP Morgan Chase, that took place in recent weeks.

The attacks may have involved the theft of multiple gigabytes of sensitive data, according to reports. Joshua Campbell, supervisory special agent at the FBI, tells Forbes: “We are working with the United States Secret Service to determine the scope of recently reported cyber attacks against several American financial institutions.”

When most people think of “cyber attacks”, they think of a handful of hackers working out of lonely apartments or the basements of their parents.  But that is not primarily what we are dealing with anymore.  Today, big banks are dealing with cyberattackers that are extremely organized and that are incredibly sophisticated.

The threat grows with each passing day, and that is why JPMorgan Chase says that “not every battle will be won” even though it is spending 250 million dollars a year in a relentless fight against cyberattacks…

JPMorgan Chase this year will spend $250 million and dedicate 1,000 people to protecting itself from cybercrime — and it still might not be completely successful, CEO Jamie Dimon warned in April.

Cyberattacks are growing every day in strength and velocity across the globe. It is going to be continual and likely never-ending battle to stay ahead of it — and, unfortunately, not every battle will be won,” Dimon said in his annual letter to shareholders.

Other big Wall Street banks have a similar perspective.  Just consider the following two quotes from a recent USA Today article

Bank of America: “Although to date we have not experienced any material losses relating to cyber attacks or other information security breaches, there can be no assurance that we will not suffer such losses in the future.”

Citigroup: “Citi has been subject to intentional cyber incidents from external sources, including (i) denial of service attacks, which attempted to interrupt service to clients and customers; (ii) data breaches, which aimed to obtain unauthorized access to customer account data; and (iii) malicious software attacks on client systems, which attempted to allow unauthorized entrance to Citi’s systems under the guise of a client and the extraction of client data. For example, in 2013 Citi and other U.S. financial institutions experienced distributed denial of service attacks which were intended to disrupt consumer online banking services. …

“… because the methods used to cause cyber attacks change frequently or, in some cases, are not recognized until launched, Citi may be unable to implement effective preventive measures or proactively address these methods.

I don’t know about you, but those quotes do not exactly fill me with confidence.

Another potential threat that banking executives lose sleep over is the threat of electromagnetic pulse weapons.  The technology of these weapons has advanced so much that they can fit inside a briefcase now.  Just consider the following excerpt from an article that was posted on an engineering website entitled “Electromagnetic Warfare Is Here“…

The problem is growing because the technology available to attackers has improved even as the technology being attacked has become more vulnerable. Our infrastructure increasingly depends on closely integrated, high-speed electronic systems operating at low internal voltages. That means they can be laid low by short, sharp pulses high in voltage but low in energy—output that can now be generated by a machine the size of a suitcase, batteries included.

Electromagnetic (EM) attacks are not only possible—they are happening. One may be under way as you read this. Even so, you would probably never hear of it: These stories are typically hushed up, for the sake of security or the victims’ reputation.

That same article described how an attack might possibly happen…

An attack might be staged as follows. A larger electromagnetic weapon could be hidden in a small van with side panels made of fiberglass, which is transparent to EM radiation. If the van is parked about 5 to 10 meters away from the target, the EM fields propagating to the wall of the building can be very high. If, as is usually the case, the walls are mere masonry, without metal shielding, the fields will attenuate only slightly. You can tell just how well shielded a building is by a simple test: If your cellphone works well when you’re inside, then you are probably wide open to attack.

And with electromagnetic pulse weapons, terrorists or cyberattackers can try again and again until they finally get it right

And, unlike other means of attack, EM weapons can be used without much risk. A terrorist gang can be caught at the gates, and a hacker may raise alarms while attempting to slip through the firewalls, but an EM attacker can try and try again, and no one will notice until computer systems begin to fail (and even then the victims may still not know why).

Never before have our financial institutions faced potential threats on this scale.

According to the Telegraph, our banks are under assault from cyberattacks “every minute of every day”, and these attacks are continually growing in size and scope…

Every minute, of every hour, of every day, a major financial institution is under attack.

Threats range from teenagers in their bedrooms engaging in adolescent “hacktivism”, to sophisticated criminal gangs and state-sponsored terrorists attempting everything from extortion to industrial espionage. Though the details of these crimes remain scant, cyber security experts are clear that behind-the-scenes online attacks have already had far reaching consequences for banks and the financial markets.

In the end, it is probably only a matter of time until we experience a technological 9/11.

When that day arrives, will your money be safe?

Banks may create their own False Flag EMP Hack even to cover up their massive theft and co-mingling your money with theirs.

A few years Back I belonged to WAMU bank. I get paid direct deposit on the 1st of every month. What WAMU did was not credit my account until like 3pm in the afternoon on the first, instead of 7AM as usual. After doing some research I found out WAMU was closing on another bank merger that exact same day, and I am guessing they were using my money as theirs to reflect a larger increase in dollar value on the WAMU Banks capitalization account to purchase the other Bank. I filed a complaint with the SEC, but you know, how many battles do I need to fight.

This just goes to show you the criminal activity Banks will go to steal money or Borrow (wink wink) my money for them to help purchase this other bank merger.

Right after that, I switched to a local Credit Union. Just read the terms of Agreement you sing when you open up a checking or savings account. It probably grants the Bank permission to use or take your deposits from time to time for their own. I was denied access to my deposits for 7 hours that day on the 1st of the month. That criminal.

An EMP could take the whole thing down. I don’t keep a lot of my money in the bank. It is safer in the 1St. Bank of Sgt. Dale. As for bit coins. I feel the same way one EMP and its gone.

Hi Sgt…had A fellow honorable LEO in my home yesterday. Of course, he’s not establishment trained, he’s a county sheriff. Either way, some of you may remember the issues with my dad over the last year. One of the sitters began taking advantage of his situation, and lying terribly to other people about me and her mistake was she brought the sheriff into it saying he said things he didn’t say. (Dad got dehydrated last week, which made him confused and he snuck out the bedroom window at 2-3 am and took a walk In his underwear, only to be found by a neighbor at 7 am.) Well the sheriff was more than happy to come and sit on my couch while I confronted her about her lies. She was scared shitless. I love calling FSA pukes out on their lies. It’s amazing, her son didn’t qualify for that disability check he was petitioning for. Something about, if he can wield a chainsaw for hours cutting and chopping wood, he can hold a job? Done mess with my daddy. You’ll be sorry you did…and they were warned. Dumbasses.

Look for the ‘event’ to take place on a weekend most likely starting on a Friday. The banks will promise all will be well come Monday…but it won’t. This is how the forced bail-ins are going to happen. They are going to claim someone ‘else’ stole all your money. Plausible deniability? Not falling for that excuse, sorry!

    6. eppe says:

This family does not have to worry about cyber-anything…

A redneck family from the hills was visiting the city and they were in a mall for the first time in their lives. The father and son were strolling around while the wife shopped. They were amazed by almost everything they saw, but especially by two shiny, silver walls that could move apart and then slide back together again. The boy asked, “Paw, what’s at?” The father (never having seen an elevator) responded, “Son, I dunno. I ain’t never seen anything like that in my entire life, I ain’t got no idea’r what it is.”

While the boy and his father were watching with amazement, a fat old lady in a wheel chair rolled up to the moving walls and pressed a button. The walls opened and the lady rolled between them into a small room. The walls ! ! ! close d and the boy and his father watched the small circular number above the walls light up sequentially. They continued to watch until it reached the last number and then the numbers began to light in the reverse order.

Then the walls opened up again and a gorgeous, voluptuous 24 year-old blonde woman stepped out. The father, not taking his eyes off the young woman, said quietly to his son,

      “Boy…go git cho Momma….

          • Barn Cat says:

Yes, of course. But it spreads too slowly to become a serious problem for the world. UNLESS it become weaponized and released in many places at once.

        • Anon7 says:

Barn Cat: I agree; there’s a high possibility of a definite maybe at this critical juncture. For you non-economistas this means “maybe yes, maybe no”.

      • Winston Smith says:

Yeah, I’m starting to lose hope that this will be contained. Sadly, the US is more concerned with starting wars than using it’s resources to stop the spread of this disease before it affects it’s own people. Buy some basic pandemic supplies now, before you can’t.

        • Anonymous says:

They said (I think it was the CDC) that it will spread to several other countries before its contained, Winston.

          • Winston Smith says:

I know. I just wonder which “several” it will be and will those several be able to contain it before it gets out of control there too. I tend to think it would be controlled in the US if it came here because the people are more educated than the people in countries like Sierra Leone, but then again once chaos is unleashes, no one knows where it will end.

I also wonder where the Hollywood types are. Why are they not trying to start a viral campaign to gin up donations to aid agencies dealing with this overwhelming problem? Could it be that, unlike AIDS, it doesn’t affect white people or people’s ability to have unrestrained sexual relations so to them it really doesn’t matter? Or is it that Africans are not big consumers of their products so they don’t really care? I thought these “compassionate” Hollywood types cared about the needs of the poor and downtrodden, or is that just a meme designed to pull in more revenue? Just a thought.

            • Anonymous says:

Good point, Winston! and of course, right now its “only” Africans who are in trouble… Once it hits our shores (or England’s, or whatever) THEN people will take appropriate action.

On TV, they said something about the people being quarantined because of the Ebola virus– I couldn’t hear the whole thing but it sounded like they said the people were running out of food and water and not being able to escape the quarantined area. That is really scary!!! And it looked like the people were healthy…perhaps some were sick??

And of course, they have come up with a vaccine and Lord knows whats in that!!! I’ve read books about how corrupt the pharmaceutical industry is– they don’t care if a drug is safe or not– they don’t care about the consequences– they are a business and only care about profits!!! I can see them making a drug to perhaps cure the disease, but who the heck wants their vaccine with toxic shit in it??!!

      • Mr. Smith (Formerly Grafique) says:

Jesus wants nothing more than to know each and every one of you.
Sin separates man from God. Jesus paid the penalty for all sin so that there would no longer be a separation.

When Jesus died, the veil in the Temple, which prohibits man from coming to God, was torn in half, opening the way for anyone to come to God. This is what Jesus wants. All you have to do is believe it.

    9. Xena says:

ISIS will be blamed for a massive cyber attack that will wipe out the banking sector – conveniently right along with the quadrillions of derivatives. The .gov will step in to save the day, the (surviving) sheeple will praise the .gov for saving them from the evil ISIS and restoring the EBT system first, and 0bama will go down in history as a great leader of the “common” folk.

WTF do we let this entirely predictable scenario play out?

      Fear.

The populace is so entranced with the TV and MSM that they are more manipulable than a 2 year old. .gov uses fear (like this article, but in a nefarious subversive manner) to condition reactions and promote behaviors. To gain more control over the populace, and to further entrench their dynasty for their heirs. Fear sells, and everyone is buying these days.

Funny, so many people are afraid of dying that they forget to live. Prepping is great, and I’ve done enough to see us through most issues, but don’t forget to live. We lived for a very long time with no electricity, much less a criminal banking system.

I say bring on the reset.

      • Very good post….thanks.

        I like this,

Fear = Face Everything And Rise

      • TheGuy says:

People eat it up because whether it’s ISIS, the .gov, the banks themselves, or fricking Santa Clause is pretty much immaterial at this point.

The point is, there’s absolutely nothing people can do about it. Oh, they can individually prep, sure… but in this scenario the entire world is Ferguson on steroids and even the preppers have a 5 minute life expectancy unless they are in the countryside in an underground missile silo.

So… whoever did it… YAY someone fixed it! Oh thank God and such.

That’s why people eat it up. What else they gonna do?

      HOME LAND SECURITY WARNS:
      ((AMERICA WILL LOSE POWER))

Weather by an EMP or CME or a Grid Down Terrorist Attack, WE WILL LOSE POWER and soon. And No matter how we loose power WE COULD BE IN THE DARK FOR YEARS, EVEN FOREVER
You can see how to prepare for such an event and when you lose power you will be sitting in your home with lights and power. I live in a large 4 bedroom home that is all electric with a big chest freezer and 3 teenagers who all have large TV’s, DVD Players, Game Consoles and more. My smallest power bill was $67.00 and my average is about $100.00 per month. When I loose grid power to my home the only way I can tell is by looking at the street light across the street to see if it’s lit or not.
I have a 12 volt system that charges a bank of batteries and from that I run almost all my house lights, inside, outside and in my basement. I have a 12 volt coffee pot, a 12 volt Evaporative “Swamp” Cooler to cool my home, a 12 volt alarm clock and a 12 volt electric blanket to keep us warm on cold winter nights. I even have a 12 volt Plastic Pail Hot water heater to make me FREE hot water from wasted energy that would otherwise be dumped and wasted. I even have an Aquaponics set up that grows fresh fish and fast vegetables to eat and that is powered by 12 volt as well.
See how I did all this and you can do the same. (This is NOT a Grid tie system, my system works independently of your grid power).

maybe there will be a false flag cyber attack on the banking systems which will provide a cover for bankers to get away with what they have stolen and blame it on someone else like russia or china and maybe even start another war. your masters aint stupid they know every trick in the book and the dumb sheep buy the nonsense.

    13. I believe in part the global reset is an extension of the original defeat of the Ottoman Empire, Europe will again (hopefully) find the will to push out the savage invaders, here in the US I hope we find the courage to do the same.

Islam is not compatible with western civilization and must be confined and kept in check. Of course this alone is not our only problem, but in a world growing smaller and smaller it should be seen as a major issue.

War has been upon us. Yes we had a semi quiet pause when we all pretended the cold war ended but now WWIII seems inevitable, that we share mutual economic destruction along with multiple battle lines both physical lines and the fact that bombs are bursting within cyberspace is proof we’re already at war.

3% fighter and roughly 7-10% support won the revolutionary war. I always find the 3% in that historical fact interesting because it’s now said that only 3% of the country are preppers, the future always fall on those most awake to prevail, it just appears to be our turn.

      • Barn Cat says:

No, it was about 1/3 of the people that supported the rebels in the Revolutionary War.

Back then the average American was as well armed as the British soldier except that they didn’t have artillery pieces.

Today, the average prepper is armed. But he doesn’t have satellites, drones, tanks, planes, helicopters, RADAR, or secure communications. Preppers don’t have a chance of overthrowing the government.

        • Sierra Dave says:

Most of what you say is true, Barn Cat. The only exception I will make is this. The FedGov has stockpiled supplies. But do they have the means to resupply? Do they have the means to support all the millions of family members that will swarm the military bases? Millions of useless bureaucrat won’t be fed. They no longer have value. They might cause trouble though.

Regular commerce will come to a grinding halt. What food has been prepared is IT. Unless they have Corporate automated farms. Preppers win out in this game.

As food supplies dwindle. Bases will be let go.

It may end up that just a few thousand are left in bunkers with enough supplies to last years.

          • TheGuy says:

And regular people have what? Hydroponics and food cloning facilities??

Oh yeah… who as control of the water supply again? Oh. Yeah. That. Oops… spilled something in there… oopsies.

            • Sierra Dave says:

Rural America will probably keep whatever is growing on the larger farms. Some if not much will be lost.

“Food cloning facilities”? How about chickens and rabbits, and yes fish through Aquaponics. Larger farms have pigs, goats, and cows.

We all know of the golden hoard that will head out of the city in a collapse. They won’t get too far. They will run into continuous resistance. And quickly dwindle for many reasons. Lack of water and food. Disease from bad water. Lead poisoning.

There will be a huge die off in 2 months. Then maybe a stalemate or skirmishes between the remaining people and the parasitic government.

Regular American folks who work hard and live a normal life have passion , drive and motivation that dont come from a bankers wallet.

      • Fantastic points y99.

But we should approach this new war with different tactics. It is time to let go of the old ways, the hate, the fear, the rhetoric, the divide and conquer. The paradigm shift is in progress, you can feel it, even the sheeple can feel it now.

Be silent. Be still. Be patient. Defend what is yours but do not seek to use physical force to obtain any desired result. The new age will be ruled by intelligence, wisdom and logic. Thought and willpower is the only force you need now.

      • IMO, it would take more than 3% in today’s world simply due to the technology the enemy has. Not that it can’t be done, but I am thinking 10% or more would be needed. And not all preppers are fully awake as evidenced here on this site with a lot of the comments made.

“Islam is not compatible with western civilization and must be confined and kept in check. ”

Perhaps…inasmuch as can Islam even be construed as a ‘religion’ at all? I think not. A careful examination of the ACTIONSS of the various ‘mullahs’ and ‘ayatollahs’, etc would seme to suggest a wholly secular lust for domination, over – literally – everything and everyone on Earth.

To be sure, THAT discussion (in it’s fullness) would far exceed (by many times) the space we have here in which to pursue it. however, consider this one point.

According to the various Muslim authority’s the existence of non-belivers IS allowed …but ONLY if the requisite TAX is paid thereby. If YOUR ‘God’ is so very GREAT (Alaho Akbar, I beleive) then why the concern for MONEY simply to tolerate the EXISTENCE of a non-beleiver?
Secular to the bone…has nothinmg to do with any real religion or attempt at spirituality…it’s simpe bull-shit; a ‘made-up’ religion used to exercie secular control over a group of People…nothing more. Anne Barnhardt had this one down COLD…

That said, the tenets of Christianity and those of ‘Islam’ are fundamentally incompatible; one spiritual the other seclar, see? In the end, it is therefoir an exclusive proposition…one OR the other, but not BOTH. The prior history of the Crusade’s in the Middle ages is wholly indicative of this fundamental incompatibility… as well, a clear lesson in this notion.

The upshot of this is simple…all time since the Criusade’s was simply ‘Half-time’; this will have to ne finished up conclusively soooner or later, there is no peaceful co-exittence with these cretins.

Witness that since Algebra was inventted (originally Al-Jabr) that there has not been one single orginal thought come from the entire Arab world; in thier entirety they are an ‘intellectual wasteland’, devoid of spontaneous creativity…zilch. A true cultural ‘dead-end’…and we all kknow what happenms to any species if it fails to evolve, don’t we? Spell it here with me Folks: E X T I N C T I O N.

FWIW, I don’t typically subsscribe to ANY racially motivated commentaries – and this isn’t one either – it IS a theological/cultural issue alone…

            ———————————————————–

            Many, many years ago,
            When animals could speak,
            A wondrous thing the ducks befell;
            Their tale is quite unique.

Down by a pond dwelt all these ducks,
            Ten thousand at the least.
            Their duckish joys were undisturbed
            By any man or beast.

One day, down near the entrance gate,
            There was an awful din.
A hundred hens all out of breath
            Were begging to come in.

“Oh, let us in!” the poor birds cried.
            “Before we do expire!
“‘Tis only by the merest inch
            “That we escaped the fire!”

Their feathers singed, their combs adroop,
            They were the saddest sight.
They’d run a hundred miles or more,
All day and then all night.

“Come in! Come in!” the ducks all quacked,
“For you our hearts do bleed!
“We’ll share our happy lot with you,
“Just tell us what you need!”

And so the poor, bedraggled hens
            Among the ducks moved in.
“For, after all,” the ducks declared,
            “We’re sisters ‘neath the skin.”

Before too many months had passed,
The hens were good as new.
They sent for all their rooster friends,
            And these were welcomed too.

To please their hosts, the chickens tried
            To waddle and to quack.
            To simulate the duckish ways
            They quickly learned the nack.

This pleased the flock of ducks, because
            It gratified their pride.
But hear my tale, and learn how they
            Got taken for a ride.

The ducks, it seemed, spent all their time
            In fixing up the place,
In growing food and building homes
            And cleaning every space.

They asked the hens what they would do
            To earn their daily bread.
“We’ll teach and write and entertain,
“And buy and sell,” they said.

And so the hens began to teach
            The baby ducks and chicks.
They traded food and eggs and things,
            With many clever tricks.

            They wrote great books and put on shows;
            Of genius they’d no lack.
It wasn’t long till chickens owned
            The Duckville Daily Quack.

One day a mother duck who took
            Her ducklings to the lake,
            Was flabbergasted when one said,
“A swim I will not take!”

“Why, ducklings always swim!” she gasped.
“It’s what you’re built to do!
“Like bunnies hop, and crickets chirp,
            “And cows ‘most always moo!”

“You’re nuts!” her little son replied,
“That stuff is all old hat!
“It’s wrong for birds to swim; besides,
“It’s damned cold on my pratt!”

“Oh, fie!” the mother duck exclaimed,
            “You’re talking like a fool!”
Up quacked the other ducks and said,
“He’s right! We learned in school!”

“Such things must stop!” the mother cried,
“Those hens can’t teach such lies!
            “For sheer ingratitude and nerve,
“I’m sure this takes the prize!”

But she was wrong, for even then
The hens did thump the tub,
            Demanding they be let into
            The Duckville Swimming Club.

“But you don’t swim!” the ducks exclaimed,
“To join, why should you care?”
“That’s not the point!” the hens replied,
            “To exclude us isn’t fair!”

The younger ducks, who’d been to school,
            Agreed right there and then:
“To keep them out is bigotry!
            “‘Twould just be anti-hen!”

            Outnumbered by the younger ducks,
The old ducks soon did lose.
They agreed to let the hens all in,
If they would pay the dues.

That night The Duckville Daily Quack
            contained this banner spread:
            “Reactionary Ducks Are Licked!
            “Duckville Moves Ahead!”

            Down at the Duckville Gaiety,
The young set laughed with glee,
At cracks about “old fuddy ducks”
            In burlesque repartee.

Next day the hens were at the club.
            A petition they’d sent ’round:
They objected to the swimming fund
            With fury and with sound.

“You use our dues to fix the pond,
“To keep it neat and trim,
“And this is wrong,” they said, “because
“You know we do not swim!”

“God help us all!” cried a wise old duck,
            “These chickens have gone mad!
“We’ll take this thing to court, by George!
            “And justice will be had!”

But when they went up to the judge,
            Imagine their dismay!
            A chicken-judge decreed that they
            A heavy fine must pay!

            “Minorities must have their rights!”
            The judge declared right then.
“To use hens’ dues to fix the pond
            “Is very anti-hen!”

Once more The Duckville Daily Quack
            Emblazoned ‘cross the page:
            “Old-Fogey Ducks Refuse to See
            “The Great New Coming Age!”

In Duckville’s church on Sunday morn,
            The preacher spoke these words,
            “Discrimination’s got to stop!
            “Remember, we’re all birds!”

The wisest duck in all the town
            Sat down in black despair.
“I’ll write a book,” he thought, “and then
            “This madness I will bare!”

“Let swimmers swim, let hoppers hop,
“Let each one go his way.
“Let none coerce a fellow bird!”
Was what he had to say.

“‘Twere wrong to force the hens to swim,
            “So here’s the problem’s crux;
“It’s just as bad for hens to try
            “To chicken-ize our ducks!”

“I can’t print that,” the printer said,
“Twill put me in a mess!
            “My shop is mortgaged to the hens;
            “The chickens own my press!”

This worried duck then tried to warn
His friends by speech and pen,
But young ducks fresh from school just jeered.
            “He’s a vicious anti-hen!”

Now up the stream a little way
            Was Gooseville on the lake.
The hens had come to Gooseville too,
But the geese were more awake.

When the hens began to spoil the young,
            And Gooseville’s laws to flout,
The geese rose up in righteous wrath
            And simply threw them out.

            Of course you know where they all ran;
            On Duckville they converged.
“We’ve got to take these refugees,”
Was what the hens all urged.

            The Duckville Daily Quack declared:
“These geese will stop at naught!
“They plan to conquer all the world!
            “Atrocities they’ve wrought!”

“That’s right,” the young ducks all agreed,
            “We’ll help our fellow birds!
“These geese have plans to conquer us!
“We’ve read the Quack’s own words!”

They let the hens from Gooseville in,
            The whole bedraggled pack.
And every hen took up a job
            On Duckville’s Daily Quack!

When Duckville’s mayor’s term was up,
The Quack put up its duck.
A vain and stupid duck was he,
            A veritable cluck!

But when he praised the wild young ducks,
            And cursed the evil geese,
            The Quack declared he was all wise;
            His praise would never cease.

The hens chipped in to help this cluck
            Give grain away for free.
            The old ducks sadly shook their heads;
            The writing they could see.

And, sure enough, this stupid duck,
            He was elected mayor.
From this point on, the Duckville ducks,
            They never had a prayer.

The mayor said, “Gooseville must go!
“We’ll wipe them off the map!”
While Duckville slept, the scheming hens
            For Gooseville set a trap.

            They called the geese by filthy names;
They filled their pond with sticks.
They helped the weasels catch the geese,
            And other hennish tricks.

The geese got mad and threw some rocks.
            “It’s war!” the Quack announced.
“We ducks must fight those evil geese
            “‘Till they’ve been soundly trounced!”

The ducks (who knew not of the tricks
            Indulged in by the mayor)
            Were filled with patriotic zeal,
And pitched right in for fair!

Now when the ducks had whipped the geese,
            The mayor called “Retreat!”
“Our hennish friends should really take
            “Gooseville’s big main street!”

The hens were back in Gooseville now.
They starved and beat the geese.
They prayed for peace — but organized
            The “Hennish Armed police!”

            They drained the Gooseville swimming pond;
            They de-goose-ified the schools;
They wrung the neck of Gooseville’s mayor
            On lately made up rules.

They formed a council of the hens:
            “United Birds” the name
The other birds who joined the thing
            Did not perceive the game.

No sooner had they set this up,
            Then they announced their plan
To seize up Swanville as a home
            For all their hennish clan.

They took a vote amongst the hens,
            And everyone approved!
“Swanville was for hens!” they said,
            “Way back, before we moved.”

And so they kicked the swans all out
            With Duckville’s help and power,
            And Duckville couldn’t understand
Why swans on them turned sour.

            By this time, Duckville was a mess;
The young ducks had gone mad.
            They stole and laughed at truth and law;
            They went completely bad.

The hens were selling loco weed
            In every nasty den.
But ducks who dared to mention this
            Were labeled “anti-hen.”

The hens all preached of tolerance.
            They invoked the Golden Rule,
            But they subsidized the indigent,
            The greedy, and the fool.

At last the very dumbest ducks
            Began to smell a rat.
“This mayor is no good!” they cried,
“And we will soon fix that!”

            But the hens had planned for even this;
            A candidate they had
Whom even wise old ducks believed
            Just never could be bad.

            This hen-tool duck had whipped the geese;
            A soldier-duck was he.
Although the hens had set him up,
The ducks all thought him free.

            This hen-tool duck got elected,
            Through ignorance and greed,
Through hennish lies in press and speech,
            Through bribes of chicken feed.

The hens now kicked the ducks around
            Without a blush of shame,
Until the mayor ran the town
            In nothing else but name.

            They pumped the swimming pool all dry;
They taught the ducks to crow.
            While duckish numbers dwindled,
            The hens’ began to grow.

The hens stirred up the happy crows
            From out the piney wood,
To come and mix with all the ducks
            In the name of brotherhood.

Things got so bad that fifty ducks
Who knew of days gone by
Took up their wives and children
            And decided that they’d fly.

            They flew through storm and tempest;
            They froze, and many died.
But on they drove, until, at last,
            A lovely lake they spied.

            They settled down exhausted,
But soon went straight to work
To build and clear and cultivate.
            No danger did they shirk.

Now, after many years of toil,
            This little band had grown.
The fields around were full of grain
From seeds that they had sown.

            The first ducks now were long since dead;
            Their struggles now had ceased.
            Through hard work and suffering,
            Their joys had been increased.

One day near the entrance gate
            There was an awful din;
A hundred hens, all out of breath,
            Were begging to come in.

“Oh, let us in!” the poor birds cried,
            “Before we do expire!
“‘Tis only by the merest inch….’”

GIVE that one a cigar, BINGO! The magnitude of the theft they have been preparing Lo these maany years is breath-taking in it’s hubris…to pull it off at the end they have to VANISH it all in…some way that relives them of any possible suspicion. Else everyone on the planet will chase them to extinction…Nah!, the word I’m looking for here is somewhat more expansive, look up ‘Extirpation’; destruction of a thing root and branch.

To do that they need a plausible story/narrative at the end when they attempt to execute on thier intentions, Eh?

What BETTER story could one concoct than than a facelss, nameless, untraceable foe like a cyber-attacker? Better YET, that’s so vague that it might WELL allow them to select a competing group/entity and BLAME them…thereby clearing the actual culprits while destroying MORE of the compettion siumultaneously!
        Genius.

Ya’ can’t steal 100 Trillion dollars and get AWAY with it…500K, sure, EASY, but the OTHER…you WILL be found… No? EVERYONE is going to be chasing you, FOREVER.

    20. Who Will be blamed for the EMP? says:

If a cyberattack did occur, it would a red herring and distraction from the warmongering by the Anglo governments, and most likely a US group such as the Tea Party, straight males, Christian groups, et al will be used as a scapegoat. Just as they blamed all 2nd amendment groups and mens rights groups when that Elliot Rodger was fed up of being bullied and rejected by gold diggers.

    21. >>”Every minute, of every hour, of every day, a major financial institution is under attack.”<<

Maybe, but considering the Fed Reserve's cure for the 2008 market crash is worse than the disease, I'll put my money on another systemic banking collapse instead of a cyber attack for the next collapse.

Financial markets are in a multi-year trading range peak, and we are due for a major market selloff at any moment due to a loss of investor confidence. A well timed cyber attack may exacerbate the selloff, but normal market corrective forces will determine the severity of the selloff.

It'll be interesting to see if the Fed Reserve can increase it's balance sheet again to cover all the margin calls at the too-big-to-fail banks, or let a few of them collapse like Bear Stearns.

Price inflation is already increasing steadily, let us see if the Fed Reserve will throw us under the bus to inflate the money supply again, just to save the TBTF banks.

        Direct link…

“Islamic terrorist groups are operating in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez and planning to attack the United States with car bombs or other vehicle born improvised explosive devices (VBIED).

High-level federal law enforcement, intelligence and other sources have confirmed to Judicial Watch that a warning bulletin for an imminent terrorist attack on the border has been issued. Agents across a number of Homeland Security, Justice and Defense agencies have all been placed on alert and instructed to aggressively work all possible leads and sources concerning this imminent terrorist threat.

Specifically, Judicial Watch sources reveal that the militant group Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) is confirmed to now be operating in Juarez, a famously crime-infested narcotics hotbed situated across from El Paso, Texas. Violent crimes are so rampant in Juarez that the U.S. State Department has issued a number of travel warnings for anyone planning to go there. The last one was issued just a few days ago.”

      • Thanks KY Mom. I saw that article earlier. There appears to elevated concerns in some circles of a potential bio-weapon attack in addition to car bomb or IED style attacks on American soil in the near term. Britain is already raising the red flag, and they should know since many of the foreign ISIS fighters were radicalized right there in London!

Not to worry KY Mom, Obama will likely phone in from the 18th green and declare such an attack(s) as work place violence instead of a terrorist attack.

I’m sure he’ll try to blame it on “homegrown terrorism” with heavy emphasis on conservatives, militia groups, and Tea Party extremists. He would never call it what it really is it, radical Muslim based terrorism.

Linguistics show that USA politbureau is linking [banks] and [national security] very heavily. They will be shutting down banks in response to a [cyber false flag] and they will then use this as [excuse for war]. We all really know that this is to try and save some zionist bankster butts from a very early, and violent death later as the revolution heats up for a cold winter.

Their ‘target’ in this first ever cyber false flag is Russia.

    33. aljamo says:

Get rid of the banks and all their trappings, problem solved. America reinvigorated. Off topic, it was back a few months when it was proven that the forces trying to take out Assad in Syria were the guilty party in using chemical weapons on Syrian’s loyal to Assad. The U.S. backed and funded these so called rebels in the attempt to get rid of Assad and insert their loyal stooge in charge as they have done in Ukraine. The American people were overwhelmingly against U.S. involvement there. Now that group of rebels invaded Iraq and is sucking the U.S. back into Iraq to fight ISIS or ISIL, not only in Iraq, but in Syria also. U.S. warmongers have never taken regime change in Syria out of the plans. Now the polls in America are saying the people support fighting these troops in Syria by 80 percent. WTF! American’s can’t be this stupid, I’m not buying it.

      Happy Labor Day Fellow Preppers.

Been looking forward to this weekend for months now as this is the weekend where all my food preps are being reviewed.

Kicked the wifes car out of the garage last night and have set up tables all around the inside and one 8 foot round table in the middle.

Have seperated foods into categories such as sauces, rice, beans, noodles, meats, vegetables, fruits, drinks, cereals, comfort foods and spices / seasonings.

First time I have ever done this. Looking over all of my food preps at one time. Just when you are thiunking you are sitting pretty for one year up pops a joker as seeing only 1 month of fruits or two months of breakfasts. I really don’t want to eat beans or spaghettie (sp?) for breakfasr.

      Sure doesn’t look like much.

A real eye opener. Have to kick this into a higher gear than I thought I was. Will ultimatly repackage everything into two week worth containers each with 4,000 calories per day for two people. That way I have 26 uniform and stacked containers instead of jost boxes of whatevere here and there. At least that is the goal for this weekend.
