UNTREATABLE Lyme Disease Could Affect 2 Million Americans By 2020

Scientists are saying that the number of Americans who could suffer from Lyme disease could skyrocket to 2 million by the year 2020.  Although little is known about the tick-borne illness, the problem is that the type of Lyme disease expected to affect people in the U.S. is untreatable.

Lyme disease is the most common vector-borne illness in the U.S. It is a condition caused by the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, which is spread by infected ticks. Those who contract the bacterial infection suffer several symptoms, such as a fever, headache, chills, tiredness, joint and muscle aching, as well as swollen lymph nodes. In many cases, patients experience an erythema migrans rash that can grow up to 12 inches around the area of the tick bite. Around 329,000 cases are thought to occur each year, although the true number of infections is thought to be higher, according to a report by Newsweek.

Most of the time, a doctor is able to prescribe an antibiotic and a person infected with Lyme disease will see their symptoms lessen and eventually pass.  However, sometimes the symptoms can linger in what is known as post-treatment Lyme disease (PTLD) or post-treatment Lyme disease syndrome.  The sufferer of this ailment will experience cognitive dysfunction, incapacitating fatigue, and chronic pain, according to the authors of the research published in the journal BMC Public Health.

By 2020, 2 million Americans could be affected by PTLD. Not only is the cause of this condition unknown, but the treatment is also controversial.  Some theorize that PTLD is caused when the bacterial infection disrupts the immune system, but it’s just a guess. “Although antibiotic therapy cures most LD patients, a significant proportion of patients continue to suffer persisting symptoms that can derail normal life,” wrote the team.

A conservative estimate made by the researchers suggested that 69,011 cases of PTLD occurred in 2016, which will gradually rise to 81,509 cases in 2020. In another model, the researchers accounted for cases rising from the 1980s combined with treatment failing in 20 percent of cases. That would see a prediction of 1,523,869 cases in 2016 and 1,944,189 forecast for 2020. –Newsweek

Although the research scientists admitted they are unsure which of the above numbers is more accurate, they did say more should be known about Lyme disease and PTLD regardless. “Nevertheless, our findings suggest that there are large numbers of patients living with LD-related chronic illness,” they wrote. Accurate diagnosis is the next step toward helping those who suffer from this debilitating illness.

Prevention of Lyme disease involves prevention of a tick bite.  In order to reduce your risk of being bitten, stay away from wooded, brushy areas.  If you do venture outdoors in the warmer months, make sure to use bug spray on all clothing.  Flea and tick treatments should be considered if you have pets that spend time outdoors as well.

  1. Many people believe (with good reason) that Lyme Disease was the result of animal testing on Plum Island [look up Plum Island Animal Disease Center of New York (PIADCNY)].

A map shows how close Lyme, Connecticut is to Plum Island.

Over the years, strange creatures have washed up on the shores of the mainland. Very strange creatures many people swear had come from the testing lab at Plum Island.

Plum Island has now moved to Manhattan, Kansas, and is called National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility.

Plum Island had a water barrier and you see how well that worked. Now the testing is done in the middle of America’s heartland.

    No worries, right?

It is correct that the standard medical treatment is becoming ineffective, there is a natural treatment that is almost 100% effective. Mediherb’s product andrographis complex. In the last 3 years I’ve recommended it to 560+ patients and have had tremendous success. I see success in the vast majority in just 1 week. Even in people that have had Lyme or related diseases for 10+ years. Btw, Lyme and related diseases can also be transmitted by all ticks, mosquitoes, fleas, biting flies, mites, and spiders

Lyme was created by the gov in a lab on an island off the coast of Lyme Connecticut. there was some kind of release and all the ticks in the New England area carry it. When you go into the woods here you check yourself for ticks. My father got it 2 times and the doctor told him he needs to be very careful not to get it again because the antibiotics used to cure it might not work anymore. Wife’s brother got it and became very sick. Don’t take long for a tick to bite you and you know because you get a red bullseye. Permethrin helps. I think the gov created it to create fear so people wouldn’t go into the woods.

Untreatable diseases will become our new normal in the US. Aliens (Sorry, not gonna call them migrants) on the southern border bringing in intestinal worms, Chagas, parasites, malaria, TB, yellow fever, syphilis, gonorrhea..etc

Now monitoring for Ebola from Congolese? What the F%ck are aliens from the goddamn Congo in Africa even doing on our TX border?

Diseases once eradicated in the US making a strong resurgence…

    We ain’t seen nothing yet

Every home should have a colloidal silver machine. It deals with over 600 ailments. Virtually all bacteria and virus are eliminated with it. Great stuff.

    • Karl V. says:

rnr ~ Do you recommend a specific colloidal silver machine? I’ve seen any number of ads and reviews…. every machine touts itself as the best and all the others as garbage; meanwhile half the reviews on every model praise it to the sky and the other half condemn it as worthless. I’ve given up trying to choose one.

It’s correct that the medical treatment of Lyme is becoming ineffective. The organism is becoming resistant to doxycycline. There is a natural remedy that is highly effective- mediherbs brand andrographis complex. In the last 31/2 years I’ve recommended this to 560+ people and have had tremendous results. 99% feel great in 1 week. It also treats related confections. Btw, Lyme and confections r also transmitted by fleas, flies, mites, all ticks, mosquitoes, and spiders.

For those who want to learn more about Lyme Disease and how it has affected millions of lives, read “The Quiet Epidemic, by Gary Netherton, N.D, Ph.D., available from Amazon books.

An old – an extremely effective – hunter’s trick.

Go down to your local drug store/pharmacy and ask for “Flowers of Sulfur”, aka sublimated Sulfur. Dust the top insides of your socks and the waistband of your underwear with same somewhat liberally. Thereafter your problems with Ticks AND Chiggers will be a thing of the past.
I was introduced to this about the time I started going out hunting with Dad some 50 years ago and I have YET to be bitten in that time except on the rare occasion I failed to apply it due to – usually – getting rushed for various reasons.
Likely, you’ll actually have to ASK the pharmacist to order it for you…no one keeps any such on the shelves anymore.
As far as safety is concerned well, just think about people extolling the virtues of bathing in volcanic (sulferous) hot sprints…I haven’t heard of anyone getting skin cancer from that as yet, eh?
Well, gotta go kiddies…just came down stateside to get a new diesel truck and we’re finishing up getting it converted to an ‘Utra Hauler’. FWIW, the EZ-Lynk I installed was a breeze to put in, easier than I imagined…for those of you with diesels I also recommend you stop over at Snow Performance (online), they manufacturer methanol/water injection systems that will both exte2nd the life of pricey diesel engine but also up your fuel mileage and dliver a huge boost in the power department: comes in REAL handy pulling mountain grades!

This article hits home for me. I know several people who have been hit hard with this and now my Son. Their symptoms have a wide range of afflictions that can fit other diseases.
My Son contracted this ailment during work which requires him to go into fields and brush.
He was a strong, healthy and alert 40 yr. old. In just a few months he lost so much weight. Pain keeps him awake many nights and sleeps a lot during the day with hardly an apatite. He needs to walk with a walker and even on his best days need one. We do seriously need to do more work on this for so many others will need to be helped.

  10. Genius says:

Ya untreatable by the medical mafia/big pharma piles of shit. Oh ya…. that’s all there is right? Fuckin’ idiots

  11. Norrak says:

Yes, Lyme Disease is treatable and curable. Genius is correct that “Big Pharma” is behind not allowing treatment by doctors, and the CDC is in collusion with big pharma in this endeavor. The CDC is using mafia tactics against doctors who try to do what is right by their patients. This is all done to protect “Big Pharma” profits. Some doctors have been threatened with losing their license, jail time for fraud, and probation. Some doctors go ahead and treat anyway and face indictments. Thank God that some doctors have started to rise up against the CDC and speak out in defense of doctors who do treat the disease in the way it needs to be treated for a cure.

  12. Montana Guy says:

I believe Lyme disease is at best a catch-all for doctors. It’s a good fit for Americans living in fear of yet another boogeyman. Just my opinion. I’m staying in the woods and enjoying the outdoors.

One of the Nazi scientists who appears to have been involved with Plum Island was Dr. Erich Traub, who was in charge of the Third Reich’s virological and bacteriological warfare program in World War II. Was Traub involved with experiments that led to the spread of Lyme Disease?

Program Highlights Include: Examination of Traub’s studies in the US prior to World War II; Traub’s pro-Nazi activities inside the US before the war; John Loftus’ discovery of references in the National Archives to Nazi scientists experimenting with diseased ticks on Plum Island; Lyme Disease activist Steven Nostrum’s discovery of Loftus’ findings and his work investigating Plum Island; Details of Traub’s involvement with Plum Island; files about Tick Research and Erich Traub that have been purged

I first noticed Lyme as a pain in the back of the neck what moved into my brain, I thought I had meningitis. Than came spots in my visual field and the feeling of crawling in the front brain. Arthritis settled in my left jaw, pushing the jaw out line and ruining my bite. Thirty days on medication plus Argentyn 23 colloidal silver took all symptoms away except the bite issue. I went off meds. Three months later the visual and crawling symptoms returned. I treated it solely with the silver colloid, taking some with every urination, since it flushes easy from the body. Soon the Lyme went into remission, never to return. The jaw took about nine month to return to normal. The dentist thought I would have to have my teeth realigned to restore my bite. It has been several years now with out Lyme. I credit it all to the colloidal silver. I trust this information will help you also. Peace.

  16. Serrapeptase says:

I have read that once bitten by an infected tick, an organism is injected into the body. It can mutate and hide in DNA and forms biofilms to protect itself from antibiotics, etc.
This is the reason more than one course of antibiotics, silver, etc is usually required again to alleviate symptoms.
Serrapeptase dissolves the biofilms making it possible to kill more of the organisms with different remedies. Until eventually they are eradicated
