Since early on in the coronavirus scare there has been a strong effort to condition people to accept that things will never return to normal and that people will need to adjust to a “new normal” in which life is hemmed in by new pervasive limitations on freedom in the name public safety.

This “new normal” has expanded to even include a caste system condemning people who refuse new experimental coronavirus “vaccine” shots to exclusion from, or subjection to greater restrictions in an undertaking, many activities. Fortunately, many brave individuals are standing up against this “new normal,” declaring that they refuse to accept it.

Long-popular country music singer Travis Tritt is one of these brave individuals. He made the news this week with his bold cancelation of four shows he had scheduled in venues that have gone “new normal.” Beyond just canceling the shows, Tritt also provided a strong and inspirational written explanation for his decision. Included in the Monday announcement at his website of the shows’ cancelation is this quote from Tritt explaining his stand against the “new normal” being foisted on people:

In a statement released today, Tritt comments, ‘I’m putting my money where my mouth is and announcing that any venue or promoter mandating masks, requiring vaccinations, or pushing COVID testing protocols on my fans will not be tolerated. Any show I have booked that discriminates against concert-goers by requiring proof of vaccination, a COVID test, or a mask is being canceled immediately. Many people are taking a firm stand against these mandates around the country, and I wholeheartedly support that cause. I have been extremely vocal against mandates since the beginning. This is a sacrifice that I’m willing to make to stand up for the freedoms that generations of Americans have enjoyed for their entire lifetimes. There are plenty of promoters and venues around the country that appreciate fans and the freedom of choice in this great country, and those are the promoters and venues that I will be supporting.’

Tritt continues, “I’m sorry for any inconvenience this situation creates for anyone who had purchased tickets to these shows. We will try to reschedule unrestricted shows in these areas as soon as we can.”

    Bravo, Travis Tritt.

      1. Bravo Travis Tritt. Leave it to a country singer and a great American to show the Covid-excuse-Tyrants that they will not be tolerated. Well done Sir.

      2. You tell ’em Trav….

      3. Fuck the government

      4. People and businesses like him should be the “normal” not the “exception”!

      5. In other news… A friend of mine has a small old coal stove at his cabin. He burns little logs in it which are ok but don’t last very long. I found some coal here and brought him a load and it worked GREAT! I haven;t used coal since I was a kid. I am now thinking of getting a grate for my woodstove at our cabin and using coal. Cheaper and easier than wood and a lot hotter. Burns longer (you should have a brick lined stove) and stores forever. It would be a great way to save wood pellets during the day (I have both woodstove and pellet stove). Burn coal all day then pellet stove for night time. Rediscover COAL! It’s ggrrrrreat!

        • Coal is good for those extra cold days/nights. You can mix with wood (50/50) though.
Had a mini potbelly cast iron stove and it produced enough heat in a small shed to run you out just using coal. Had to open the windows just feel comfy. Using a mix worked better.
The drawback with coal is, there will be unpleasent smelling, dark, thick smoke upon startup of the coal. The better coal is the Anthracite.

      6. The world Elite found a winning strategy with Covid and they will not let go of it, in reality they will expand it to everything else they have been wanting to institute but have been unable to because there was too much resistance to it.

This should make everyone on all sides very happy since everyone now has the opportunity to openly walk the way they talk,

      7. owensboro Ky did that at romp this year told them to get fucked

      8. the great divide is getting wider every day.
Travis came under fire from the leftist in Nashville almost immediately….most of whom I would wager are faithful followers of “the climate whopper storyteller in chief ” or the offspring thereof.

I don’t know that Travis responded to any of their nonsense but it sure would have been a great opportunity to utilize his ” here’s a quarter call someone who cares” lyric.

Yeah Travis is one of the last real country music artist remaining after the mass murder on music row.

        ? ???? ???? ?????…

country music might not be your thang and I totally get that.
but you surely know by now that this is not about mask or covid or vaccines.

people like Travis (and I will include myself in that mix) are using whatever they have at their disposal to fight these sons of perdition, who want to make us all institutionalized slaves.
and imo this fight is just getting started.

      9. GOD Bless you Travis
