If You Are On This List You May Be In Grave Danger

Over the weekend a mainstream media web site on the east coast published, presumably in the interest of public safety, a complete list of individuals and businesses that are licensed to carry or own handguns.

Much to the amusement of those who would confiscate firearms from law abiding citizens, the list, complete with an interactive map, essentially allows those who are preparing to commit such crimes as burglary, robbery or worse to locate specific addresses where residents are armed.

The problem, of course, is that in their haste to publicly out and embarrass legal gun owners, The Journal News actually did exactly the opposite of the intended purpose of their exclusive breaking report.

You see, now when a criminal gang decides to target a particular home they can utilize the new map to zoom in on specific homes in a neighborhood to determine if they will be faced with any sort of danger should they choose to attack a particular target.

Put yourself into the criminal mind and consider what you might do should you be compelled to rob a home or business at gunpoint. With that new map available to you, would you be headed to the residence where there is a strong likelihood that someone is armed, or would you skip over that particular house and head to where you know there would be little, if any, resistance?

It’s the epitome of irony.

When gun-grabbers and their ilk laugh about the new interactive map publicly exposing lawful gun owners, what they have actually done is outed those citizens who have no means of defending themselves.

It’s pretty safe to say that if one were to have a sign placed in front of their home, Americans would overwhelmingly prefer to have this one:

As opposed to being the neighbor in this photo:

In the near future criminals are going to realize the internet is a powerful tool for determining the feasibility of striking certain targets. It’s only a matter of time before flash mobs begin to organize, not against gas stations or pharmacies, but private citizens and residences. Should such a thing happen, and fifty people kick in your door and intend to have their way with your family and property, those millions of assault rifles that have been flying off the shelves around the country are going to come in real handy.

While we cherish our privacy and agree that the outing of gun owners has gone beyond responsible journalism, if their is going to be a list, we’d rather be on the one that has our residence listed as heavily armed as opposed to the alternative.

You may be one of those proud non-gun owners who didn’t make the east coast list.

And if you are, you should be terrified, because you may very well be in grave danger.

If SHTF no one will be looking at the internet. Survival would be the all consuming activity.

I see the zeal of the anti gun people to be their Achilles Heel. They fail to realize that gun owners are 70 million in number. So yes please in your passionate drive for a gun free America demonize as many guns as possible. 70 million votes? Damn that’s a big number.

    • Depends on what stage of the action we’re talking about.

As long as the Internet is still up, criminals have a handy tool (viz. this interactive map thingy) to determine which neighborhoods to raid first, even if they’re just planning ahead.

Mid-collapse, the Internet may remain up for some time (it is after all designed to withstand a nuclear frickin’ war), possibly as long as the electricity does.

Long story short? In my neighborhood here in the sticks (full of gun owners), I’ll likely be avoided, whereas most of the eastern Portland area (where granola-chompin’ tree-hugging gun haters live) will be ripe targets.

      • Barlow says:

I long for the moment when some thug breaks into one of these houses and is blown away by someone who was identified as NOT having a gun because he/she had enough sense to have a gun bought via a private sale.

Assume these homes are easy pickings at your own risks.

        • I agree, but criminals are playing odds anyway, and this little map likely increases those odds in their favor.

A typical burglar has some priorities themselves (get in/out quick, insure no one is home, look for and grab small high-value objects, etc), but overall, aside from some cursory checking, they expect surprises more than the typical homeowner.

          • Barlow says:

oh I agree with you 100%. It’s a numbers game (pardon the use of the phrase, it’s not a game), but with the various rushes the last four years to arm up, a certain amount of people prefer “private sales”. Being a numbers game, those odds of busting into a home with a private sale gun inside with a user behind it have increased also. It will happen. Thanks.

            • Franz Meier says:

It is a scientific (and indisputable) fact that Second Amendment advocates are a bunch of stupid animals easy to manipulate and subdue; these slobs are extremely gullible and incapable to think for themselves – trained not to think. Moreover, these brutes are lovers of wealth and pleasure; they are selfish, slothful, indolent and can be inspired to raise above their brutish existence only by fear of impending death or catastrophe.

These mules are unable to grasp that gun manufacturers in the United States are amassing huge profits driven mainly by fear and paranoia of an imminent economic collapse and the subsequent social unrest.

Furthermore, these so-called “patriotic” Americans cannot envisage that the Federal Government has already prepared a national database of all gun owners in the country, so if Martial Law is enacted due to the scenarios posted before, these good-for-nothing will be requested to turn their guns in exchange for food coupons and a symbolic monetary compensation.

Those who ignore this mandate will be legally held as Enemies of the State and lethal force can be used by law enforcement authorities if they perceive some sort of resistance during the confiscation process.

Americans do not have a single clue of what Martial Law is all about and hundreds of thousands may foolishly die as a result of their misguided (and chauvinistic) patriotism.

            • Barlow says:

@ Franz the gooberment snoop. you are a troll

so yeah… What ever floats yer boat.

          • Winston Smith says:

Yes, but on the other side of that coin is that it gives criminals looking for a gun to steal a list of potential homes to target too. All they have to do is scope out the home and figure out the pattern of behaviour the owner has and when they are not home to know when to strike. Thus, these irresponsible “journalists” have just increased the danger to the public from gun crime.

            • The Old Coach says:

This list only covers handguns. Houses with long guns present are not listed. If home invaders make an assumption that an unlisted house is not armed, they may be in for a big surprise!

            • unclezip says:

Depending on the locale or remoteness of the home, most burglars will not spend the time or energy to break into a gun safe. Nor will they mess with a house with a barking dog. My safe is locked any time I’m not inserting or removing a weapon. Any weapon not in my or my wife’s immediate possession is locked away. This is (and should be) the same for any ammunition not in the weapon – usually in a different safe.

            • Kiljoy616 says:

Well if they do they are going to have to go thru some reinforced gun case its possible but not fast or easy. No for criminals its not that hard to get illegal guns so its the Sheeple they are going to go after plus good luck trying to go thru my reinforced back and front door as well as 2 cane corso and security windows.

People that like security spend their money on security and not Starbuck. What it cost to drink shit coffee at Starbuck for a year you can secure your house, not impossible to get in but hard, even for those in Uniform. So bring the big guns.

So who is going to help the Sheeple if SHTF?

        • PuffyPete says:

And on top of that, it was a list of handgun owners. You would be surprised how many people own shotguns, which are better for home defense any ways. 9 pellets or 1? I’ll take 9. I swear our country’s intellect is on the decline both street and common sense.

          • Anonymous says:

You’d think that even the dopes at some ObamaNazi rag would understand that many of us LAW ABIDING gun owners aren’t “Rambo” and we’re not pretending to be. Many of us don’t have the skill or the money to own a Desert Eagle, an AR or Colt 45. A nice simple pump action 12 gauge suits both our modest budgets and our modest skills.

Just call us the mild mannered nerds who WILL NOT BE FUCKED WITH.

          • Gone to the dogs says:

Well, they could definitely come to my home even though not listed on any list..However, they will be very surprised to find a German Shepard who is trained to attack on command and several hunting rifles, shotguns and other toys and I am a very good shot ; ). Ha, and 2 other dogs that love their Mama!!

          • Sam says:

            Not everyone is IGNORANT.

Many eschew the shotgun because of LENGTH – ever try to maneuver in a confined area with a LONG FIREARM?

Ignorance can be cured, of course. The Remington 870e is MADE for home use, and if one can’t get one (they’re very popular), then a competent gunsmith can do the job just as well.

However, what I object to is people like YOU. If you are as brilliant as you claim, then EDUCATE – don’t call NAMES.

In NY State, you DO NOT NEED A PERMIT to own long guns.

          • DRD5508 says:

It doesn’t matter what guns and types are registered. This list benifits the feds more than the criminals, though the feds could be classified as a criminal gang.
Even the local police will have an easier time if and when the call is made to disarm the citizens.
Basically, because of this newspaper’s reporting, they should be out of business soon. Hopefully the backlash of readers should drop drastically.

        • KY Mom says:

          Invincible Ignorance by Thomas Sowell

“The key fallacy of so-called gun control laws is that such laws do not in fact control guns. They simply disarm law-abiding citizens, while people bent on violence find firearms readily available.

If gun control zealots had any respect for facts, they would have discovered this long ago, because there have been too many factual studies over the years to leave any serious doubt about gun control laws being not merely futile but counterproductive. …

Yet many of the most zealous advocates of gun control laws, on both sides of the Atlantic, have also been advocates of leniency toward criminals.

In Britain, such people have been so successful that legal gun ownership has been reduced almost to the vanishing point, while even most convicted felons in Britain are not put behind bars.

The crime rate, including the rate of crimes committed with guns, is far higher in Britain now than it was back in the days when there were few restrictions on Britons buying firearms.

In 1954, there were only a dozen armed robberies in London but, by the 1990s – after decades of ever tightening gun ownership restrictions – there were more than a hundred times as many armed robberies. …

Guns are not the problem. People are the problem – including people who are determined to push gun control laws, either in ignorance of the facts or in defiance of the facts.

Some years back, there was a professor whose advocacy of gun control led him to produce a “study” that became so discredited that he resigned from his university.

This column predicted at the time that this discredited study would continue to be cited by gun control advocates. But I had no idea that this would happen the very next week in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.”

You state statistics that you say are based on a multitude of studies, yet you give not one reference to back up what you say. You have misrepresented much of the statistics that you site. In 1997 there were a total of 7 instances of violent crime, the year that gun control began there were a total of 19. That is not 100s of armed robberies. There were 19. You have posted this same misleading information on various sites and on YouTube. You have been proven wrong over and over again. Since you continue to state these statistics as fact while you are aware it is not, means you are simply a liar.

          • justthefactsjack says:

So the internet goes down..BFD..ever hear of a printer?

so they print it all out today while things are up and running..printed paper doent need electricity to work

        • You’re right, but printers do need ink (usually pricey), paper, and some means to organize it all.

That said, I do find myself printing a lot of stuff out for the ultimate rainy day.

Speaking of which, I stumbled across some old stuff I had printed back in high school, when I pretty much ran the school paper. It was dot-matrix (9-pin) done-up on an ancient Apple IIe. The paper was a bit yellowed, and the printer ink had faded by quite a bit. Still legible, though.

I bring it up not out of nostalgia (though the article bitching about the principal’s policy of benching some athletes who got caught drinking off-campus was a doozy). I bring it up because the stuff we print now may not be all that legible in 40-50 years’ time.

The papers I referred to from high school are just over 25 years old now, and not getting any younger. The paper was fairly top-end continuous-feed stuff, and the ink was middle-of-the-road quality-wise (I think the printer was one of those Okidata 830 types that seem to hang around forever). Mind you, the papers were kept cool and dry for the most part all this time (sitting in a box), so it’s not as if it was hanging around moldering in a garage.

I noticed that among those articles also sits stuff I’d written up in both ink and pencil… the ink has various results (some faded all to hell, some just as strong as the day it was written), while the pencilled stuff had a consistent quality that was still quite legible.

So what happens to all this stuff that we print/write/pencil up in 50 years’ time? Say collapse hit over the next 5 years (sounds about right to me)… then count up 45 years after that? Printers are going to be a pipe dream. Hell, *paper* may not be all that common by then.

I guess what I’m getting at is, now would be a great time to stock up on a shitload of good quality clean paper, and a shitload of pencils with maybe a cheap sharpener or four in there. The stuff keeps for an amazing amount of time if you keep it cool and dry, and pencil leads never dry up like ballpoint pens would. Keeping a few blank diaries would be a capital idea too (I mention that in the book already, but…)

Meanwhile, for the really important stuff? I strongly suggest not only printing out a couple copies of the good stuff, but keeping enough blank paper and pencils around to replicate it all by hand if you had to. Why? Because someday, you may well have to do just that.

          • Archivist says:

I have printouts, both dot-matrix and inkjet, from the 1980s and I cannot see any fading whatsoever. I have papers that I have written in pencil and various types of ink (ballpoint and cartridge) from the 1960s and have not seen any fading whatsoever. I have documents from over 150 years ago where the ink has turned brown, but is still just as legible as when first written. If you print or write things on good paper and keep it safe, you should be good for over 100 years.

Some Gangs are a prepping in their own way today, just as law abiding citizens are. Today they have access to printers, even if the Internet goes down tomorrow.

So gangs that have military members for the purpose of coming back and training their street homies now haven’t printed off the list and tucked it away in a safe place. Gang hierarchy usually contains a couple of PHD’s, a medic, a few veterans etc and these people are not stupid.

If on a public list like this though I’d MOVE now least, my home be robbed for my firearms while I am out of the house one day by some fanatic. Few ordinary gun-owning adults have enough adults in the household to have someone on guard 24/7, most intend to consolidate their living arrangements post shtf. Plans for adding extra adults to the home need to be moved up if you are on the list and intend to stick around. OPSEC has been destroyed.

Those who seek to control the behavior of others often contain complete hypocrites – like the evangelical pastor/politician who preaches family values whilst visiting his mistress every Tuesday and a rent boy twice a month. Some of these homes ON the list will now be targetted so that their firearms can be stolen (guns and ammo keep increasing in monetary value and are worth theiving)

Homes not on the list now have a neon flag saying “it’s OK to rob me”. Publishing this list has done noone ANY favours.

@Everybody that values the right to self protection and the 2nd. Amendment as much as I do.

There is already a petition going for the deportation of piers morgan, but there is some real underlining reason why piers is so much after ALL gun rights, which he stated on his show when asked how many of the 300 million guns would you like to see removed, he said ALL of them. IF this was accomplished it would put the SOLE responsibility of the country’s national security on the shoulders of the army, national guard, and police and law enforcement. This would be something that the founding fathers of the U.S. NEVER intended to happen, and would be an egregious violation of the 2nd. Amendment written to ALWAYS have the back-up of a civilian army to help secure that the United States did not fall to an enemy invasion.
Severely limiting the amount of firepower, (e.g. banning assault rifles) that a civilian militia (army) has against a well armed enemy is also going against what the founding fathers wanted and the basics of the 2nd. Amendment, the country to be able to defend itself on EQUAL or better terms that those attacking the country. I don’t think that those that wrote the constitution wanted Americans going up against enemy foreign troops or terrorists armed with AK-47’s or other similiar weapons with single shot firearms.
When a foreigner ATTEMPTS to change that of our most basic protections and cornerstones of freedom, those that are responsible for the security and protection of the United States of America against all enemies including countries, terrorist organizations and groups, and individuals, there is a real need to further examine with much scrutiny what is really behind this. There were much legal debacles in England that piers morgan had to answer for, and personally with me this completely throws the issue of trust into the equation here. Can we trust what piers morgan is doing for the well being of America? In my opinion, NO WAY!

The following is an example of what someone could construct in the form of a petition to the United States Whitehouse to address the need to at very least do some serious fact-finding about what piers morgan is truly up to with his deep obsessions to ban all guns in America like he stated he would want on his CNN show. To also have him throughly questioned by trained international law enforcement to determine what his agenda and motives really are.

We petition the Obama Adminstration to:

Fully investigate, question, and personally interrogate Piers Morgan through the Department of Justice agencies as possibly being affiliated with enemies of the United States.

Piers Morgan of CNN has clearly stated that he wants ALL 300 million guns removed from the United States and has engaged in vigorous “excessively obsessed” campaigns to disarm the well regulated citizen militia GUARANTEED under the 2nd. Amendment to help protect AND provide national security to the United States of America, especially in the event the armed forces and law enforcement cannot. We request immediate F.B.I. and/or other Justice Department agency probes under the suspicion that Piers Morgan could in someway be associated with a domestic or foreign enemy power determined to weaken the internal defenses of the United States. We insist that IF any form of conspiracy is found to be of any threat to the preservation and stability of the 2nd. Amendment or any other parts of the United States Constitution, that Piers Morgan have all visa rights revoked immediately and be held and be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

            • Be informed says:

@ REB. Exactly my point, try to imagine how much easier for an enemy to attack IF tens of millions of people were no longer armed. This is beyond an issue of gun control with these anti-self defense radicals, it is the very survival of the United States should some enemy power decide to attack the country. It is a frightening thought to think about Americans without any firearms to defend themselves and rounded up without even a fight to be slaves for some eastern coalition of China, North Korea, Iran, Russia, and others. A well established militia, the 2nd Amendment, means stops screwing with gun rights. I am still mad about this, I think everyone is also.

          • Angelo Mysteriouso says:

VRF is correct…We type respect others due to they act proper and Earn respect as well as Give it to us….Them libs and antis types only show respect in one instance.

FEAR! Only if They truly Fear Us types will they show proper respect and back off.

This was proven to me countless times when I was younger in Detroit, and most of my pals were Biker type guys. I and most were NOT club affiliated…Simply Independant bikers.

But us indep. types were the Largest group of All. Most clubs had say avg of 40-100, some more, some Alot more.

But by far indep bikers was the largest of all.

Yet regardless which you belong to, clubs or indep type, Everywheres we went folks of every type of NON bikers showed the utmost respect to us always. Even Cops did!

At first I wondered why since we know they believe msm crap and in reality it only became a fashoinable thing to imitate bikers or see runway models, model biker apparel etc in Recent times right.

But no mater where we’d go in public…For example say a few of us go stand in line to buy Movie tickets etc. Or wait to pay at registers etc…Always as fast as we walk up to the Back of line….Folks near Front of line and middle line would say “Oh You guys can have My place!”

Of course we act nice and politely refuse…Then they Insisted we do so! Some almost Beg us to get in Front of their line places!

Then one day it dawned upon me..They were Not acting nice because they “Like” bikers…No, rather it was due to “Fear” of bikers due to MSM and Hollywood 50 yrs propaganda mainly.

They Fear several hard core appearing biker guys to stand in a line BEHIND them!..Where they cannot See us…

They feel alot more fuzzy warm inside if We stand in Front of them so they can keep their eyes on us due to a false based Fear.

But Hey…If thats the only way to get respect, since kind or nice acts usually didn’t work so swell for us, I figured it was better than no respect at all eh.

So in the same fashion as this, we can and Should switch tactics and Command Respect from libs and antiguners by making Them truly Fear us.

And NO I do not mean do harm physically or harm their properties etc…I mean more like Attitude changes.

As in No more Mr or MRS nice folks always ready to lend a hand to Their types. They think opposite of us. If we act nice or helpfull?…They consider That as a Win for their side. Every time we back off or refuse to fight back, They consider it a win and do More of same tactics against us.

We been brainwashed to believe “Oh never act as They do or else You will be as bad as they are”

“Oh Please never ever even speak of violence or else You will lower us to Their levels and be as bad as they are”.

I say BS! it is time for Our side to understand Not all violence is bad. Self defence Is Good use of violence. Its a bummer to need resort to it yes…BUT..What else will work?

What usually happens to every bleeding heart liberal who gets their chance finally, to try and Talk nice to or talk of the nice libs political world views to say, an armed Car jacker type hoodlum?

You know what! Them type libs gets an ass kicking or worse is Raped then murdered right. Because Badguys care not a rats ass about Anybodys political or world or religious views…All perps(and antiguners etc) care about is Their selves and whatever They desire.

Regardless how it dammages others or harms rights or whatever…Selfishness in an understatment when its Them we speak of right.

But most all of that type shows much Respect to say several biker types because they know bikers wont take no crap and will kick Their asses right quick if situation arises….Respect out of Fear is only thing that works period. Never back down. get in Their faces. Refuse to even listen to tired, worn, old talking points Our side has refuted again and again.

Failure of doing as I suggest in my opinion IS the Main reasons that Both NRA and repubs are such sorry candy ass Losers and always end up Compramising Away gun rights.

Its why since 1968 Every single antigun law at Fed level and Most at state levels was done..Because Both Repubs And NRA dropped ball and “Compramised” due to lack of SPINE!..Zero backbone=Compramize=WE Lose rights!

Time for Tough “Love” from Our side…As Tough as it Takes with No prisoners…Either respect as due to us or…Casualties for Their side. What else is left we aint tried?…Please enlighten me if theres any, thanks.

PS: Ever wonder why you Never hear of a Harly-Jacking?
Lots of Cars jacked eh…Zero Harlys jackers!

What I wrote of Is the reason Two lone bikers can ride thru Downtown Detroit on return from East side detroit back to West side and Never get acousted by blacks etc!

Try That at 3am in a Car! Good luck citizens!

The Pick 7 team is made up of capable and committed men/women that will fight back and defend their neighborhoods and their families. Eventually they will communicate with other 7 man teams to co-ordinate their efforts.

There is no central command any more then there was in 1776 when a loosely knitted American Militia stood against the tyrants of the Monarch, King George lll. The Red Coats hated these guys and I am quite sure the modern day Feds are not going have any warm and fuzzy feelings for the 1,000,000 Pick 7 Teams.

Would like to ignore this bum-crack but this type of anti-self defense radical is stirring up all sorts of problems with our gun rights, as most people have very limited attention spans and this british bloke continues to remind everyone how unsafe they are with guns. Without a civilian militia with enough decent firepower, it opens a wide door to future enemy invasion. Disarming people of their assault weapons is a NATIONAL SECURITY RISK, and it truly is against the 2nd Amendment fully meant to keep a civilian army ready enough that they would not get slaughtered by an enemy invasion.

The mere fact is that those responsible for that national security need to fully investigate piers morgan because wants he is proposing is making the country much, much more vulnerable to foreign attack. You, me, Mac, and all the other gun owners are the last line of defense against having to learn to speak Chinese or Russian in the slave salt mines.

I agree with your greater comment though. It is just not very logistical for them to come take our guns. If they try to then I feel that after the first few seizures groups will start to rally. Hopefully we could come up with a way to save our guns until the laws and seizures are overturned, but otherwise less preferred action may be required.

  10. Telling_the_Truth says:

Mac, I can assure you that parts of the criminal element DO INDEED utilize the internet in furtherance of their criminal activity!

Example, an individual takes a pic of a piece of jewelry utilizing a smart phone and then posts that pic on the internet in order to sell it!

Now, the unsavory individual see’s that jewelry and (without explaining exactly how) then utilizing that pic is able to obtain the grid coordinates of where that pic was taken and plugs those coordinates into “Google Maps” and low and behold see’s a house! Guess who’s the next victim of a burglary???

This has been occurring! So for anyone to think that the criminal element doesn’t utilize the internet, well then they are being very naive!

The type of journalism displayed by the newspaper that published the article and information was very irresponsible to say the least!

I would also strongly recommend that those houses listed as “gun owners” in that article take a second look at their security measures as they have also been listed as targets of where to get firearms!!!!

What a world we live in, UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

    yes, its beyond crazy.

you dont find the media outing those that have security systems for their houses, but anyone owning a gun just might be the next mass murder.

within my own relatives, we have had a family robbed and a woman raped and we’re supposed to just give up the one thing that will discourage or stop an intruder while crime has risen steadily and become more violent over the years.

it hasn’t done that because we have guns.

there’s a story on drudge today that “disabled” workers increased to an all time record in December. Things are getting economically worse, not better; and those that would rather harm others than put in the effort to get a job and live within their means is going to increase and having a gun is the best deterrent against them. sure, if i pull a gun; i may get shot during a home invasion; but i shudder to think what would happen if i didnt; they’ll need to come and take it if they want mine.

Be Informed: What state you live in? We are looking to move as soon as the oldest hits college age (3 years) and this state (Michigan) sucks in terms of…well, basically everything.

    • Be informed says:

@ Insanity ISContagious. You just can’t go wrong with Montana, Wyoming, or Idaho. The Dakotas are really nice places to be also. I know people from North Dakota and they are some of the most down to Earth people there are and very helpful. North Dakota is one state in which the economy there thrives, they need workers there desperately. The gas fields, around Gillette, Wyoming have jobs all over the place and don’t have enough homes available to people as this area is booming so fast. These araes are all pretty cold in the winter, but okay the rest of the year. People from Michigan seem to prefer Wyoming and Montana the most.

Idaho is a place where the reddest of all states in not tolerating the anti-freedom radicals that want to take away all our self defense and the rest of our rights. Colorado use to be much more like the free states, but too many Yuppie californians have moved there and are corrupting it, very unfortunately because Colorado is one of the most scenic states there is with plenty to do and plenty of places to establish a survival retreat. Utah is of course 75% Mormon and is survival orientated, so others that are preppers should be able to fit in okay.

If you can, at very least try to get away from highly populated regions because these are future death traps when the collapse begins.

This story has really bugged me all weekend. In California a law governing the transfer of guns that closed the horrid gun show loop hole requires a $35 fee, a waiting period of 10 days and background check ( which is instant ). There was a compromise on this law and words added to say no list of gun owners was being kept. This has been questioned by CA gun owners since day one. I have no reason to trust the American Govt with this data now.

These people have been listed like “child” molestors by the media. They should be suing that paper and the govt that made the data available.

    • sixpack says:

..and everyone thought they’d just be content to list sex offenders and felons? Once we opened the door to publishing lists of people we don’t like, we left it open for this list too. THIS is the exact reason why a violation of one person’s privacy will lead to losing all of our privacy. No matter the justification at the time. In this case, the justification is the exact same—“these people” are dangerous and “we” have a right to know that exceeds their right to privacy. Exceeding another person’s rights with your own, always bites you in the ass later, no?

      • sixpack says:

What would we all feel like if a list of people who buy bulk food got published with addresses included? Preppers ARE terrorists you know…and “we” have a right to know where they are…for our own safety, no less.

A violation against ONE, is a violation against ALL. It’s just a matter of time.

Morgan is alleged to have close ties with the Rupert Murdoch family and defended them in the media against suggestions that they were more involved in the News International phone hacking scandal than they claimed

The following day (29 November 2012) the official findings of the Leveson Inquiry were released, in which Lord Leveson said Morgans testimony under oath on phone hacking was “utterly unpersuasive. This was not, in any sense at all, a convincing answer” and “What it does, however, clearly prove is that he was aware that it was taking place in the press as a whole and that he was sufficiently unembarrassed by what was criminal behaviour that he was prepared to joke about it.

@GreyFoxGreen. I can sort of relate to your statement of ‘I used to “dislike” gun ownership for many reasons that I’ll not go into here.TIMES HAVE CHANGED.”
In my patch of Earth, I’ve been near guns / responsible owners all my life. I didn’t like / dislike them – they were just part of the deer / hog / squirrel / snake / mauled up dog life as I knew it – mostly I just rolled my eyes at the gust and blow of mighty hunters. Just a fact.
2 years ago DH said, ’tis time, wife, you will become a gun owner; I can’t sleep at night but for the nightmares’. I puffed and huffed and finally gave in when dear sis-in-law said – ‘it awakens a whole new feeling of security; our men might be pre-occupied some day and nobody is coming between me and my kids’.
Times have definitely changed for this 50+ year young gal. Are times meaner – don’t think so. We’ve just nourished it, amplified it, gave it a ’cause’ and sent it on it’s merry way to establish a name where none existed. Now the time of separation for goats and sheep has arrived. I’m not the least surprised.
And yes, I definitely cling to my bible and gun – in that order. I live in a part of Texas where no signs are needed – it’s a given that you break and enter at your own risk… and the local LEO know who is who.

And the “whack-a-doodles” are found to be everywhere and on ALL sides of every discussion and issue. It almost seems as if it is the really extreme positions that are out there that are the ones that are able to obtain the most ‘traction’ in our fractured society!!!

I feel that we are at the point in time where humanity in general has really, finally, pissed God off the point where he is getting ready to administer the ‘mother-of-all-enemas’ to the earth and current day society in general.

Please pull your hats down over your ears, boys & girls, and then reach behind yourself and grab your ass firmly by both cheeks and hold on tight. • VRF says:

pale rider ,here is why thats a big mistake

Even under current law, mental illness can become a label for unconventional political beliefs. Remember Brandon Raub, the Marine Corps veteran who was forced to undergo a psychiatric evaluation in Virginia last summer based on his conspiracy-minded, anti-government Facebook posts?
The malleability of mental illness was also apparent at a 2007 debate among the candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination. After seeing a YouTube video in which Jered Townsend of Clio, Mich., asked about gun control and referred to his rifle as “my baby,” Joseph Biden said: “If that’s his baby, he needs help. … I don’t know that he is mentally qualified to own that gun. I’m being serious.”
So perhaps excessive attachment to your guns should be grounds for taking them away. Biden, by the way, is in charge of formulating the policies the Obama administration will pursue in response to Lanza’s horrifying crimes.

dont give them any dumb ideas..ok?

Really really sad when we reached this place where anyone different is a kook and worse a threat…how sad to want everyone to fit in one mold…well I dont and I wont, like I say I am crazy, but Im not insane enough to wanna be a part of their world, even if they want to label me as such, just leave this hillbilly alone!

I found that TPTB are now implementing in public schools these treasonous ardent ghouls to evaluate our children at their very tender age to see if they show any sign of mental disorders and to prescribe drugs if they dare show early sign? First and foremost who in the hell do they think they are? Thinking they have the right to snatch/lay hands on the minds of the sanctity of our next generation. I am not a religious person but in my evaluation of the Holy Scriptures we are a group/sovereign people and we together can exercise our GOD given right to provide security & protect decency & freedom and not give up ground to these godless imbeciles.Especially when they want to attempt to dispose vets or anyone possessing arms that TPTB deem are mentally deficit to bear them..anyone ever took a nerve pill at any time ?well in their agenda you would be included in their so called cull list.I am female and like most prefer there was another avenue to live by. But in the real world..I know they are a necessity for protection of rights.Such that has been since the beginning of time.

So you can bet we are going to get some kind of new anti gun laws passed, when even the pro gun people are so timid. We very well may have to take some kind of undesirable stand one day. But while we can lets fight for the Constitution through the channels that be. KEEP THE PRESSURE ON THEM!!!!

  34. I know I say this often, but…

This is just another tool in the psychological warfare/brainwashing arsenal.

The media is identifying gun owners in a way that makes them look like criminals – the entire premise behind this is shame, discomfort and humiliation. This is being done in the exact same way as the sex offenders registry was publicized. The media is planting the suggestion that gun owners are every bit as despicable and threatening as the child molester living down the road from the elementary school.

There’s also the added bonus of stirring up a fearful witch-hunt mentality among the neighbors. Imagine the conversations:

“Gasp! Did you hear that John and Jane Doe have a GUN in their house?”
“Yes, I did, my child is never going to be allowed to go over there to play with their child again!”

This deliberate vilification is so blatant that it boggles my mind that even the most determined sheep doesn’t “get it”. You have to be willfully ignorant not to see this for the propaganda that it is.

      • VRF says:

And if Jane and John Doe dont have a gun for protection, I dont want my kid over their house!

un-protected? really? those people would not protect thier kids?..how unfit of a parent they must be for not taking thier lives, and thier kids lives seriously enough to own and train to use a firearm if necessary!..no fuckin way my brats going over thier house..

    • Trail Guide says:

@D …. LOL! I am sure I have felt better knowing my wee-one was at a house with a ‘GUN’ than without. In fact, if ‘they’ were anti-gun we might have a problem.
It’s a whole different world to live around responsible, seasoned owners. Taught our kids much on every given chance.
But, yeah… I can imagine that conversation in a sad, sad community of sheeple; and shutter accordingly.

What grain slug do you throw outa that thing?
will a 230 Gr 45 do the trick or bigger?

          • BBstacker says:

I load 350 grainers in my 45-70. They do an awesome job on pigs within reasonable range.

I also have a Marlin 336 chambered in 35 Remington that is also a good pig popper. This is my everyday “pick-up” rifle that I haul around. The recoil is light enough to get off quick second/third shots, and slightly outperforms the 30-30 (not by much). The 35 Remington can also be loaded with bullets intended for use in the .357 Magnum round, although the .357 bullets are .001 smaller than the 35’s diameter of .358. They make great defensive rounds and target loads when loaded with Gold dots or Hornady XTP’s.

On another note, both the 45-70 and 35 Rem. use many of the same powders as common defensive chamberings, such as 5.56×45 and 7.62×51. This helps in reducing the amount of different powders you keep on hand.

I’m fairly new to this site. Are there many ammo reloaders on here? I have about 25 years experience with it.

            • VRF says:

BB you and I will get along just fine

Been re-loading for some time, cant put a time frame on it due to that fact that I stopped and put my time into other hobbies for a while, and having kids etc..was brought up with it, my Dad taught me when I was a teen.

I re-load about 9 different calibers. great stress reliever

            • MXLord327 says:

I have the Marlin 336 in .35 Rem as well, I love it! Quite a bit more stopping power than a .30-30 with my reloaded 200 grain slugs. I have been reloading on and off since I was a teenager, about 30 years ago.

    • Jim says:

If I had to bug out on foot I’ll carry a 357 lever and revolver plus a small 22 for sm game. I love the lever gun and the 357 rnd. I know it can’t do what a 45-70 can but then the 45-70 can’t go in my revolver either. I can carry about 120 live rnds of 357 and reloads for 500 plus a hand reloader.

    • Technically, the 45-70 is not much more powerful than a 30-06. If you look at the ft-lbs, they are both near the 3,000 ft-lbs range. The 45-70, however, shoots a 300 grain bullet at about 2,200 ft/sec. Thats good enough for 100 yards. Beyond that, the trajectory gets really high, making longer shots very difficult.

The magic of the 45-70 is that very heavy bullet. I don’t care if you top it or not, when you do its gonna hurt.

      • …stop it, not top it. Ugh.

Also, the twist in a 45-70 is slow so you can’t use bullets that are very ballistically efficient but since the velocity is not that fast and the distance not that long, it probably doesn’t matter.

…just hope it has a recoil pad or you wear a heavy coat when you’re sighting it in.

        • VRF says:

yeah same with the 300 winchester round and a nice remmington A bolt,,I call mine the punisher, sucker feels like it wants to take your shoulder off

I love my Model 70 .300 Win Mag just as much as the Marlin!! They do pack quite a kick when sighting in, but nothing a small sandbag can’t take care of. I hardly notice the recoil when shooting at game though.

Both guns are H&R singles. Girlfriend loves the .45-70. Says the.444 is too “pussy” for her, lol. She’s a keeper.

    • Oh, no, surely you’re wrong! Government never lies.

      Income tax = voluntary

Social Security Tax = voluntary and will NEVER EVER be more than 2% of income. (…or was that income tax? Probably that too…)

Dollar Off The Gold Standard = temporary measure

There really is only ONE problem: they people that make the laws make themselves immune to the laws. Fix that and every other problem will fix itself. Well, except fot the FedRes. That one just needs to be burned to the ground.

Government is the most dangerous thing. Throughout history governments have murdered, destroyed, stolen from, raped and poisoned more people than natural disasters, plagues and fother maladies combined. The most dangerous thing created by man is not the atom bomb, it is the governments that control those atom bombs. Immoral, uncaring, evil, untruthful and criminal are the five words most likelty to describe government. You may not see the immorality, the uncaring, the lies, the evil or criminal acts, but if government is there so are those. In fact, were I philisophical enough, I would say government is actually there to make sure those five words stay in our vocabulary forever.

If it were not for governments, we probably could have erased poverty from the earth. Where evil men congregate, that is called government. Oh, it starts out good and helpful but then becomes evil over time. Our own government was really pretty decent until the 20th century. Sure there were bad spots but overall I think we did fairly well. But now, no, all evil. Government ONLY exists to server itself or its masters in charge. Serving the people is a mask of the theft taking place.

      • Eisenkreutz says:

Wrong. George Washington used the troops on American citizens to put down three tax rebellions. John Adams, the second president, criminalized free speech. The government was stocked with shit-eating rats from day one.

        You are right, and wrong.
Government is evil, but not the MOST evil thing.
You are sucked into the same trap I was in until I learned.
Gold is not the panacea you think.
The most evil thing is not government, but bankers with the legal power of issuing credit with the stroke of a pen.
The panics and depressions of the 1800’s, were under a gold standard… the thing that is controlled by the bankers pens. Bankers create depressions in order to clean up at ten cents on the dollar…

Lincoln proved this with Greenbacks, it was and always will be bankers who profit from misery, as they control markets with the power of the pen.

It is not simply government that is evil, it is centralized government and centralized money power. If money was valued on real things and peoples labor without debt or interest, there would be no need for taxes. Do not make the mistake like a lot of the right that honest bankers exist at the top of the food chain.

We are all deceived by the bankers lie that money must be short in order to be ‘valuable’. Read the history of money and your eyes will be opened.

  50. VRF says:

    Copied from another site:

Below is a statement by Congressman Ron Paul entitled “Government Security is Just Another Kind of Violence.”
I am going to reproduce it in its entirety because I don’t know how long it will remain up on the Congressman’s website now that he is retiring.
The senseless and horrific killings last week in Newtown, Connecticut reminded us that a determined individual or group of individuals can cause great harm no matter what laws are in place. Connecticut already has restrictive gun laws relative to other states, including restrictions on fully automatic, so-called “assault” rifles and gun-free zones.
Predictably, the political left responded to the tragedy with emotional calls for increased gun control. This is understandable, but misguided. The impulse to have government “do something” to protect us in the wake national tragedies is reflexive and often well intentioned. Many Americans believe that if we simply pass the right laws, future horrors like the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting can be prevented. But this impulse ignores the self evident truth that criminals don’t obey laws.
The political right, unfortunately, has fallen into the same trap in its calls for quick legislative solutions to gun violence. If only we put armed police or armed teachers in schools, we’re told, would-be school shooters will be dissuaded or stopped.
While I certainly agree that more guns equals less crime and that private gun ownership prevents many shootings, I don’t agree that conservatives and libertarians should view government legislation, especially at the federal level, as the solution to violence. Real change can happen only when we commit ourselves to rebuilding civil society in America, meaning a society based on family, religion, civic and social institutions, and peaceful cooperation through markets. We cannot reverse decades of moral and intellectual decline by snapping our fingers and passing laws.
Let’s not forget that our own government policies often undermine civil society, cheapen life, and encourage immorality. The president and other government officials denounce school violence, yet still advocate for endless undeclared wars abroad and easy abortion at home. U.S. drone strikes kill thousands, but nobody in America holds vigils or devotes much news coverage to those victims, many of which are children, albeit, of a different color.
Obviously I don’t want to conflate complex issues of foreign policy and war with the Sandy Hook shooting, but it is important to make the broader point that our federal government has zero moral authority to legislate against violence.
Furthermore, do we really want to live in a world of police checkpoints, surveillance cameras, metal detectors, X-ray scanners, and warrantless physical searches? We see this culture in our airports: witness the shabby spectacle of once proud, happy Americans shuffling through long lines while uniformed TSA agents bark orders. This is the world of government provided “security,” a world far too many Americans now seem to accept or even endorse. School shootings, no matter how horrific, do not justify creating an Orwellian surveillance state in America.
Do we really believe government can provide total security? Do we want to involuntarily commit every disaffected, disturbed, or alienated person who fantasizes about violence? Or can we accept that liberty is more important than the illusion of state-provided security? Government cannot create a world without risks, nor would we really wish to live in such a fictional place. Only a totalitarian society would even claim absolute safety as a worthy ideal, because it would require total state control over its citizens’ lives. We shouldn’t settle for substituting one type of violence for another. Government role is to protect liberty, not to pursue unobtainable safety.
Our freedoms as Americans preceded gun control laws, the TSA, or the Department of Homeland Security. Freedom is defined by the ability of citizens to live without government interference, not by safety. It is easy to clamor for government security when terrible things happen; but liberty is given true meaning when we support it without exception, and we will be safer for it.

we really screwed up by not having this man as our President, SCRATCH THAT..,..we really GOT screwed by them not allowing him to be president..

@ VRF. I am trying to watch the earthquake activity, and they just had a 5.3 in the Ascension Island area, this one was aimed towards the northern Peru and southern Ecuador zone. I am pretty confident something really big is coming to one or more of those locations I gave as a danger area by Jan. 3 for the first sequence, then Jan. 8 for the next.

I was thinking about this, what right does some foreigner have to try to change anything engrained over here, like the constitution. It is worse than bob costas because at least he is sort of a citizen here. No matter how stupid and absurd an US citizen believes they are entitled to be a jackass. Piers morgan does not have that right, he has the right to be deported. I was thinking of a perfect place for him; New Delhi, India. The Indians really like to have some overbearing stuffed up brit telling them what to do with their country just like the UK was doing previous WW2.

It really is not right that anyone is trying to undermine the protection of this country in the form of a well armed citizen army (militia), especially someone that is not even a citizen, or a legal resident of the country. Morgan is not a resident is he?

When you look at this logically, what type of foreigner would want ALL guns banned in a country that they are only on a visitor’s permit. This would benefit an enemy of the U.S. to only have to worry about the armed forces and law enforcement rather than the citizens. It would leave wide open the country for invasion, with little resistance past the armed forces. The country is spread pretty thin around the world. Citizens without firearms is a country that loses wars.

The Justice Department ALWAYS needs to investigate ANY foreigner that is trying to get the United States’ defense dimished. There could well be some criminal intent there, or much worse. This is why I wish they would get a petetion going on getting the brit looked over, and ALL foreigners attempting to water down or break up parts or all of the Bill of Rights or other Constitutional Rights guaranteed. I am sure someone could write one a lot better than me that has some legal background. Let’s get the F.B.I. and maybe the N.S.A. looking at the englishman and maybe something insidous will turn up.

It is injected into the exhaust stream to fully burn those nasty green house gases. Cost is about $7 per gallon and the vehicles will use +/- 1 gallon per tank. Can’t get it at gas stations yet. Kicker is if it runs out of Exhaust Fluid, your truck won’t start. Period. All 450 / 4500 series and above require it this year. 350 / 3500 and lower series next year. I do believe we are going to make some hard decisions and giving people the benefit of the doubt as to how they will react to any circumstance is a luxury that will not be afforded to us in the future. Decisions are going to be made in a blink of an eye. Many think they are going to have fun like all those video games. This is serious business! Life changing for sure. Very few can think it through to the end. When or how does it all end?

As to very few think thru?…Well I believe it is due to even with alot of folks ability to see todays woes and troubles etc…And this is a great thing! BUT to me it seems most still, same as libs does, Refuse to even Consider just maybe “some” stuf learned and taught was Lies or Wrong info.

I too was that way till aprox 5 yrs ago on the jewish issues…While I been awake fully the last 40 yrs on most other stuf…It is very difficult to abandon prior beliefs.

But Know the Truth, is and has been the ONLY real option. Perhaps some cannot handle it on certain issues?

I do rekon sooner or later most will awaken even to them issues. Be hard to cling to falsehoods if for example 99% of citizen “workers” at fema camps all has names like Bloomberg or Finestien eh….

I just Pray daily for Gods intervention to awaken way more folks because unless they do awaken and Soon?…We as america are finished. Only a vast aray of determined and Majority can posibly halt what we see today.

Somewheres has to be a safe place though I think…Else wise how is it possible to see any remenant survive till the end?…Just my opinion as I got zero proof or scriptures to prove that.

Consider though: in Old Testement, can’t recall where now? IT speaks of a time in future where God will Re-gather the Decendants of the NORTHERN TEN tribes of isreal(not includeing the southern tribes of judah and benjamin)…

If you study it well, the Lands and Nation described is NOT mid east isreal today!…

It says land of NO walls for security/safty(isreal has cement walls 40ft tall!)…And it speaks of a land or nation Vast in size-Filled with streams/waters-best agriculture lands worldwide- Mountains-and alot more descriptions.

To my mind no other area of world can posibly fit it all like america does. Plus a key part is God says “I will gather them from all the nations, and bring them to a NEW land!!!…NOT their “fathers” nor Abrahams lands promiced etc!…A NEW LAND!

Whats usa?…Newest land/nation of all, right. America far as countries goes IS the New kids on block right.

No other country or nation fits whats written but Here usa. And if you think in terms of “Melting Pot” as we always was called…AND as it First was begun..IE: Prior to Multicultic madness in recent times(since 1965).

Basically 99% of americans came here from white-european-christian stocks…(gather em from all nations)…And Unlike today Our whites ancestors DID learn one languauage, english, and fully assimilated as supposed to.

They kept certain “cultural” identities or customs at Home. IE: Foods-dress-etc…BUT when it came to become an real patriot american?…Our ancestors did that in Spades!

Just try reading that bible stuf if you can locate it, and keep an Open mind, Regardless What you were or were not prior told or taught…And consider what YOU know as real or true of america.

And remember…Back when Solomon Died, like 1000 yrs Before Christs birth, is when 12 tribed isreal Split into TWO seperate nations…Each with its Own armys-King-People-etc…Hence the TEN tribed Northern Kingdom of ISREAL!…Not “jews” or “jewsih” or “Judah”…TEN North tribes who KEPT the Name of “Isreal” just like Jacob Foretold at egypt when he was near death and passed on His(and abrahams and isacs) orig. Blessings down to Jacobs GRANDSONS!…Josephs twin sons…NOT to jews. Not to ANY of jacobs 12 sons!…But passed to his Grandsons.

Jacob told Ephraim And Manessah BOTH(josephs twin sons) YOU will Keep MY name of ISREAL! and forEVER You and even 1000 generations after you Will always be Known as Isreal!

Judah his ONE of 12 sons, got a blessing too as did the other 11 sons of jacob/isreal…BUT the Vast Bulk of usually First Born blessings to a Son…ALL went to Jacobs Two grandsons…He skipped a generation!

ps, Although Joseph was jacobs 4th(?) born son…Joseph was Considered the 1st born entitled to blessings due to His mother is the One True 1st love jacob had(he had 2 wives + 2 concubines jacob had his 12 sons with)

So Joesphs twin boy sons is who Jacob, now called isreal, passed His God granted blessings to…Go read of it all.

Ask yourself Which peoples and What nation from, has ever gotten the type blessings outlined by God besides…America?

ONE Example: All nations and even every Family on earth will be blessed because of Your blessings and offspring decendants…Todays pastors Insist thats the jews…

Hows it true the jews?..When did they ever number so vastly as the stars in heavens? or sands of seas?
Hint: they today are 14 Million total…Been like that all along, Minority wherever gone to live right.

What swell stuf has any nation Ever yet gotten due to
        nation wrecker(banksters too) jews?…ZERO.

Even God Himself says everywheres they go to will despise them due to their evil swindles etc…Does That sound like who got blessed or blessed Other familys or nations?…Not Hardly!…Go read that stuf with Open clear mind…And Pray for Wisdom to Know Truth…Then see what you think or believe…I bet you will question todays pastors alot closer! I sure did!

Sorry so lengthly here, but you Did Ask me! have a Safe happy new year…Hope its better for Our side eh!!!!

        • Angelo Mysteriouso says:

PS: Slingshot..I forgot to add this part…Them blessings as in all nations and familys of earth will also get blessed etc..Its TWO seperate type of blessings…One is Spiritual, and the other is Material aka lands-wealth-prosperity-etc…

While its obviously america who got the material stuf, the Spiritual blessings really means when God told abraham “I will bless all who bless You and Your SEED”

That meant Blessed abrham himself,,,AND as to his “seed” it means the spiritual blessing to every family worldwide in the Person of Jesus Christ as saviour etc…

It does Not mean what todays pastors insist is who blesses jews God blesses!!…It don’t say “Seed’s” plural…But rather One single “seed” aka Decendant offspring aka Christ!…That how God has blessed entire earths people…has zero to do with bless jews etc..

And todays pastors also get it Wrong again when they teach it as some “Future” temple of jews in isreal to fullfill when God promiced to, in His New covenant God will “Live IN and AMOUNG” His people…

Again aint nothing to do with jews or isreal mid east or temples etc…What did apostles say is the NEW temple of God?…us! Christians IS where God who IS spirit dwells/lives right. Thats how God will live and dwell in and amoung His people…See how easy to understand?

Why so many todays pastors with all their “degrees” cannot comprehend it all?…Perhaps most is too busy worshipping Mammon(money) eh….

Anyways them material blessings went to america no doubt, and due to wondefull folks who are americans(most of em) the Nations of the rest of world Has been blessed in many material ways also right…usa fed world-fought for other lesser nations-Invented and Shared invented stuf with all nations etc…And NO other nations folks did so much of spreading gospel to entire world than did american missionaries…

You cannot find any other nation OR folks than america and its people who fullfilled them prophecys period.

For further Proof of Two seperate nations of orig 12 tribes of isrealites…Look at ezekials Two Sticks verses…Proof of Two nations and ONE alone is called ISREAL! that being the TEN Northern tribes…NOT any jews. They the jews are called the southern nation of Judah…And untill Christ returns..Both will Remain Two seperate nations…Just one More issue todays pastors is wrong on eh….Maybe they need Me to buy a church! and teach it better eh!! ha ha ha…Not likely.

  64. “Gun Owner Speaks: Dana Schubert, a retired Newtown police officer, said after the school massacre that he supports gun owner privacy but would like to see laws requiring the storage of firearms in safes when not in use.”

    From: http://www.lohud.com/article/20121224/NEWS04/312240045/The-gun-owner-next-door-What-you-don-t-know-about-the-weapons-in-your-neighborhood?nclick_check=1

What an idiot moron! Sorry Dana, you’re a dumbass. You do know that it has been reported that Adam Lanza’s mother did have all of her guns in a safe, right? So whats next, bigger safes? Oh, now, pretty soon if you own a gun you have to have a $20,000.00 safe? They will try to find a way to tax your constitutionally recognized, Creator endowned right.

I think what it comes down to is they just are not making enough money off of gun owners. They want to tax and blame everyone up the line from the manufacturer to the owner to the gun. But, yet, we can never blame the car, its manufacturer, the roads or the builders that got them to the site of the massacre. I’m just dumbfounded at the ability of them to be led by the FEMACP (FEMA Cow Press) to accept such idiocy.

These eastern seaboard wimpy communomarxofascioauthoritarian statists are just amazing! They gotta have a law for everything! They can’t keep illegal guns off the street so they want to tax and dictate how you shoot, store, buy or possess yours. They can’t keep illegal drugs off the street so they have to tax and regulate alcohol.

We live in a society that wants to tax and regulate regular citizens because they see them as criminals. Now, because of the illegal, immoral, evil and unlawful actions of one man (supposedly. I think it was a setup. 2 gunmen. 1 patsy. Lots of lies.) this moron wants to make a law on how I store *MY* guns.

Well, I already store most of my guns in safes except for the behind the door shotgun, the under the chair pistol and various ones out on the temp rack being cleaned, scoped, worked on or developing loads for. (…oh, and the pisol in my pocket, the one in the car, and the one in the other car, uh, make that 2 in each car.

Crap! I’ve got guns everywhere! In safes, out of safes, locked, unlocked, loaded, unloaded. So, now I have to have them all in a safe? If something happens (an escaped circus lion chews my wife’s leg off…) can I sue this guy and/or the state because, now, I don’t have a gun out and loaded? Oh, did I mention that most of those guns in the cars, under the chairs and behind the doors are LOADED? …yet, somehow, no one gets hurt. Amazing isn’t it. Since my youngest was 7 (and my oldest would have been 16) I’ve enver paid any attention to guns whether loaded or unloaded. EVERYONE IN THIS HOUSE KNOWS TO HANDLE EVERY GUN AS IF IT WERE LOADED AND READY TO FIRE. …because in most cases, they *ARE*. Unsafe?

Now, this guy thinks I should have them all locked up? What if, in the process of having to unload and lock up my weapons, I accidentally set one off and kill myself. Can my widow sue these dumbasses for damages?

No, really, this is just as valid as what he’s working up to: if you didn’t have it properly stored, they are going to prosecute you as an accessory. They are so very much against blaming the person that made the choice to shoot that they will grasp at any straw to make sure they don’t “inflict” any responsibility on the criminal mind that did the shooting. Blame the gun. Blame the owner that left the gun out of the safe. No! No! Never blame the perpetrator.

…why do we never blame the:

    Car that got him there.
The maker of the car that got him there.
The builder of the road that allowed him to drive there.
The school corp that allowed so many kids in one area to be shot.

…sorry, I kind of went off on that, but, I’m beginning to think I’m on Planet Retard and I really, really, REALLY want to return to Earth where there is truth and justice. …or used to be.

    Shopping Tale

I was in the mall, finishing up my Christmas shopping the other day. At the check out, my total came to $79.25.
I handed the young lady a $50, a $20, and a $10. Then fished in my pocket for a quarter and handed it to her. She held the $50 up to the light and looked at it. Then she did the same with the $20. I was thinking to myself ‘Do I really look like a counterfeiter?’
When she next held up the $10, I said “Miss, if I knew how to counterfeit 50s and 20s, I wouldn’t waste my time on ten dollar bills.”
She smiled, “Oh, no sir” it’s not you personally. It’s just that we’re required to verify each bill.”
“Okay, but if you scrutinize the quarter, I’m gonna take it as an insult.”
She grinned the most devilish grin. Then held the coin to her eye like a monacle, “You did good on the eagle, but Washington’s face is a little sloppy.”
We both laughed as she handed me a one dollar bill in change. I stuffed it in my pocket and left. In the parking lot, as I got my keys, I pulled out the bill. It felt strangely stiff. And a little thicker than most bills. When I got home I checked it out. Turns our it’s a fake!!

        @ Piper Michael

We will never know for sure what we will do until it happens. To say that we will do absolutely nothing is decieving oneself. Depends on what is the catylist that sets it off and is a variable ranging from a bank holiday to martial law. Each one for me will cause a different way of engagement. I do not want to rush in and get caught up with bank run riots. That would be stupid and you should have prepared for it. The time for breaking things will come fast enough. We should be using this time to prep hard.
It is important that we remain calm while others panic. As government slowly moves against me,I have done the same by layering my preps. Each layer a step up in readiness. I do use a check list. Call it passive engagement.
My thought process tells me there will be three types of people when it starts. People that will run to the government for help and be compliant to the fullest.
Then there are those who are in between. Wanting to be
free but do not have the means to be so. We can expect them sooner or later to make a choice to be government dependent or seek out the preppers. Most likely those gun owners that do not like military weapons and have done little to prepare but have some resources. Then there is US. We must be vigilant and careful we do not end up in a FEMA camp. Although we do seem to be separated now,the time others waste in a head to head confrontation we should use to unite.
On the day of reckoning I will get up and turn on the T.V. and listen to the news, Make myself a cup of coffee. Have a smoke. Get dressed and pull out my checklist and finish up doing what I need to do.

If there is an ICBM attack I will move a little faster.;0)

*** government officials retire en masse

take notice of especially when we are seeing the same behavior on the part of Wall Street executives.

Most people in the know are aware of the underground facilities which lies below the Denver International Airport which has an underground connected railway to the Cheyenne Mountain NORAD/Fort Carson/Peterson Air Force Base underground facilities. The structures are part of the Continuity of Government program developed by the United States government in the early days of the Cold War.

However, these facilities are increasingly becoming the planned refuge for many of the global elite residing within the United States when all hell breaks loose. In September 2011, the evacuation of the elite to this safe hideaway was rehearsed in the DHS exercise known as Operation Mountain Guardian in which the Denver airport was shut down to commercial air travel except for specific, undesignated planes which were allowed to land in preparation for some staged catastrophe.

DHS and CIA officials and their families will be provided safe sanctuary in various strategic locations in Colorado in times of trouble.

retired officials from the NSA have relocated to an area in the Ozarks where they have access to underground safety zone which have/are being transformed into mini-villages of self-sustainable protection. Their properties consist typically of 5 to 10 acres for each family,

retired officials from the DHS and the CIA, who are not part of the privileged elite but who know what is coming, have developed their own enclaves in the Rocky Mountains outside of Denver and Colorado Springs.

  71. BigB says:

This was just emailed to me by a friend. I don’t know when Darrell Scott did this but these words should not be forgotten.

Guess our national leaders didn’t expect this. On Thursday, Darrell Scott, the father of Rachel Scott, a victim of the Columbine High School shootings in Littleton, Colorado, was invited to address the House Judiciary Committee’s subcommittee. What he said to our national leaders during this special session of Congress was painfully truthful.

They were not prepared for what he was to say, nor was it received well. It needs to be heard by every parent, every teacher, every politician, every sociologist, every psychologist, and every so-called expert! These courageous words spoken by Darrell Scott are powerful, penetrating, and deeply personal. There is no doubt that God sent this man as a voice crying in the wilderness.. The following is a portion of the transcript:
“Since the dawn of creation there has been both good & evil in the hearts of men and women. We all contain the seeds of kindness or the seeds of violence. The death of my wonderful daughter, Rachel Joy Scott, and the deaths of that heroic teacher, and the other eleven children who died must not be in vain. Their blood cries out for answers.

“The first recorded act of violence was when Cain slew his brother Abel out in the field. The villain was not the club he used.. Neither was it the NCA, the National Club Association. The true killer was Cain, and the reason for the murder could only be found in Cain’s heart.

“In the days that followed the Columbine tragedy, I was amazed at how quickly fingers began to be pointed at groups such as the NRA. I am not a member of the NRA. I am not a hunter. I do not even own a gun. I am not here to represent or defend the NRA – because I don’t believe that they are responsible for my daughter’s death.

Therefore I do not believe that they need to be defended. If I believed they had anything to do with Rachel’s murder I would be their strongest opponent.

I am here today to declare that Columbine was not just a tragedy — it was a spiritual event that should be forcing us to look at where the real blame lies! Much of the blame lies here in this room. Much of the blame lies behind the pointing fingers of the accusers themselves. I wrote a poem just four nights ago that expresses my feelings best.

Your laws ignore our deepest needs,
    Your words are empty air.
    You’ve stripped away our heritage,
    You’ve outlawed simple prayer.
    Now gunshots fill our classrooms,
    And precious children die.
    You seek for answers everywhere,
    And ask the question “Why?”
    You regulate restrictive laws,
    Through legislative creed.
And yet you fail to understand,
That God is what we need!

“Men and women are three-part beings. We all consist of body, mind, and spirit. When we refuse to acknowledge a third part of our make-up, we create a void that allows evil, prejudice, and hatred to rush in and wreak havoc. Spiritual presences were present within our educational systems for most of our nation’s history. Many of our major colleges began as theological seminaries. This is a historical fact. What has happened to us as a nation? We have refused to honor God, and in so doing, we open the doors to hatred and violence. And when something as terrible as Columbine’s tragedy occurs — politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to pass more restrictive laws that contribute to erode away our personal and private liberties. We do not need more restrictive laws. Eric and Dylan would not have been stopped by metal detectors. No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months planning this type of massacre. The real villain lies within our own hearts.

“As my son Craig lay under that table in the school library and saw his two friends murdered before his very eyes, he did not hesitate to pray in school. I defy any law or politician to deny him that right! I challenge every young person in America , and around the world, to realize that on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School prayer was brought back to our schools. Do not let the many prayers offered by those students be in vain. Dare to move into the new millennium with a sacred disregard for legislation that violates your God-given right to communicate with Him. To those of you who would point your finger at the NRA — I give to you a sincere challenge.. Dare to examine your own heart before casting the first stone!

My daughter’s death will not be in vain! The young people of this country will not allow that to happen!”

    – Darrell Scott

    Thanks, BigB

    The Next Financial Crisis

With the US raising their debt ceiling, are we in a global bail-out bubble that will eventually burst? This doc offers a fresh insight into the greatest economic crisis of our age: the one still awaiting us.

The financial storm that has rocked the world began brewing in the US when congress pushed the idea of home ownership for all, propping up those who couldn’t make the down payments. When it all went wrong the government promised the biggest financial stimulus packages in history and gargantuan bailouts. But what crazed logic is that: propping up debt with more debt? “They’re giving alcohol to a drunk: it just sets him up for a bigger hangover.”

Did anyone click on the link and note that this was for 3 counties in New York and not the entire eastern seaboard? I’m not saying its right, I personally believe that this was wrong and messed up but what do you expect from a liberal media that is more concerned with ratings than with the truth and privacy? One nice thing about living in Florida is that we don’t register our guns here. You’d only make a list like this down here if they did it for those that have a concealed carry permit, which would only tell you who might be packing in public but wouldn’t show you who might have a gun at home that doesn’t have a CCW for whatever reason.

  91. brightfuture says:

The school massacre is to me 100% a false flag operation by Us goverment and probably by Israel, they are comming for your guns, thats the reason.

I think we should do the same they do, hang out every name and adress EVERY WEEK here and at other sites,
congress people and senate people, that will scared the hell out of them!!

  92. Rev. Reggie Jackson says:

Its no question about it; the reason that you must register all of your firearms is so that they will know where to go to collect them. And that could very well cause a civil war. After all, most guns owners have the mantra that their hero Charlton Heston had, which is, “you can pry my guns out of my cold dead hands!!” The most notable quote in the history of all gun owners!!

  93. Spidermonkey says:

    A survival tip by Ugly:

    Where to hide cash?

Folks, there are two places to never hide your cash–one is under mattress, and two is in your Bible. Those two places are where Secret Society Agents will look and confiscate.

The best place to hide cash? Yes, I have found the best place to hide cash is in any Al Gore books. No one reads those, and no one wants them. Place an Al Gore book next to your Bible and your cash is completely safe.

What I have found thru numerous studies by homes raided by the Secret Society is that all bibles, all books on Constitution, all books on self-help and freedom are gone. The only books left on the shelf were the Al Gore ones.

Just another free survival tip by Ugly just as long as we still have alittle ‘free’ speech left.

  104. Wrong Target says:

Brilliant. Janet Hasson has now told would-be criminals one of two things: (a) which houses to hit if they are looking for a soft target (i.e., which ones are effectively Gun-Free Zones), and (b) where to go if they want to steal a gun in the owner’s absence. The fact that wrong-doers have access to this info via the Freedom of Information Act doesn’t mean that in the vast majority of cases they would know how to go about getting it, or would even think to do so. What it does mean is that Janet Hasson has just given a leg up to criminals and taken a bite out of public safety.

Perhaps she could publish the names and addresses of school and family psychiatrists who have with ever increasing frequency and dosages been prescribing psychotropic drugs for children’s newfangled “behavioral disorders” for the past 25 years. Maybe this would give a leg up to those of us seeking to understand why our nation’s kids are increasingly acting psychotic, homicidal, and suicidal.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas. AM, everything you said in #978293 is correct. I had 4 ancestors who served with the “Swamp Fox”, Colonel Francis Marion’s militia in South Carolina during the Revolutionary War. The same 4 ancestors also fought in the French and Indian War prior to our war for independence. I’m descended from a long line of people who have fought for freedom. I’m probably on a numbet of lists; don’t really care. I feel the waste will strike the air-circulation machine not long after Jan. 20. After that date, all bets will be off. Anyone who comes to my place to take anything will be on a suicide mission. Steppin up my preppin. best wishes to all. Braveheart

I also pledge to pass on those military pattern rifles to my children and my children’s children, as well as the full capacity magazines, parts, and ammunition to needed to use them, regardless of what illegitimate action is taken by Congress, the President, or the courts.

If the War on Terror were real, then these journalists should be arrested and thrown into Gitmo for aiding potential domestic terrorists which is now enforceable under the Patriot Act, and because of the NDAA2013, they can be held in indefinite detention. Obama did declare the entire USA to be a battle ground in the War on Terrorism, and these irresponsible journalists have just aided and abetted domestic terrorism by identifying which homes a terrorist can go to to potentially secure a firearm. This is treason and is in fact indirectly arming terrorists. So lets see if the fake war on terror will prosecute these bozos, or if these dorks in Washingotn are just hypocrites…

  108. cjmartel says:

Many people are treating this as a ha ha so what moment. As your title stated, if you are on this list, you may be in grave danger, I cannot believe the gall of these idiots publishing all those names, every single person on that list NEEDS to sue these jackasses right out of business!! This just illustrates just how far these hateful libtards will go to ram their agenda home. Any, and I mean ANY gun control bill that comes out of that cesspool washington is going to stir up a hornets nest. Evidently these jackals seem to think that Americans will put up with this crap, they could be in for the surprise of their life! Every day it gets harder and harder to even look at liberals, especially family, it’s like being related to Benedict Arnold. I love this site, people here know and understand what is at risk, when I try to talk to liberals I swear it is just like arguing with a tv, you get noise, but nothing coherent, they hear, but refuse to listen, they don’t want their little libtard balloon popped they just want to have the government take care of them, provide for them, tell them what to think, dope them up with psych meds, and the kids too, escape, escape, escape, my God it just blows my mind sometimes.

  109. Paul Pace says:

The same Satanically evil tribe that posted the list of gun owners is the same ones that control the media and the same ones that are working hardest to take guns out of the hands of Americans. The same ones that are in control of Wall St. and has groups like AIPAC attack and ruin anyone who dares question their control over it all.

This same tribe needs to be hunted down and killed on the streets like the mad dogs they are!

  110. Steve S says:

    Can I point something out?

Gun deaths are caused by, you guessed it, people with guns. So…your solution is…more guns? Don’t you find that a little bit odd?

That’s akin to telling someone with diabetes that the solution for their problem is more sugar. Or telling someone with a broken finger that the solution is to break more fingers.

People, you’re not stupid, use your brains and think logically. Your country has the highest, per capita, gun-related deaths in the whole world…most of those deaths are innocent people. This is what 88 guns per 100 people have done…it hasn’t made things better, only worse.

At the very least, get rid of the armor piercing ammunition and assault rifles…you don’t need those to hunt, you don’t need them to defend your home…all you’re doing by having those available to civilians is enabling the criminal element to get their hands on them as well.

    • I_Loved_America says:

Steve, you have done no research on this subject. Your assumptions are incorrect. Please research. I was also surprised when I researched the possible correlation you mention and at other findings.

      • I_Loved_America says:

BTW, also research Mexico. Its a mess. Bad.

      • Steve S says:

I just do not believe that when guns are a problem, and they are in the US moreso than anywhere else, that more guns is the solution. Usually, if something is a problem, you remove it, not add more of it.

I don’t need to research other peoples opinions, when I can see first hand on news reports from a wide variety of sources (not just the regular media, I look just about everywhere) as well as first hand experiences from friends of mine from the US…there’s a major problem with guns, people are dying that don’t need to die. At the very least, remove military-grade guns from circulation, so that not every joe psycho can get their hands on them.

Evcen though we’re going to probably disagree on this, thanks for being polite and cordial with your reply.

Why are you concerned about Military Style Rifles when rifles of all types account for less than 400 murders per year (323 in 2011 to be exact) and are the lowest of the firearms used. I find it very interesting that the most effective firearm to defend yourself from tyranny and the least likely used in murders is the primary focus of legislation. The greatest murderer of civilians in the last century was government gone wrong accounting for 55 million murdered (not by war but by genocide). The Founding Fathers had vast debates about government and their fear of it.

Reasonable prudence should get you to revaluate your position after reading these facts.

As a reminder the Second Amendment was not haphazardly positioned into the Bill of Rights but comes just behind the vaulted First Amendment for a reason. It’s not there to insure defense from criminals nor sport. It’s intent is at the very core of a free people.

Your here, your thinking and civil unlike other posters. Google “The Federalist Papers” and then think about 20th century history. You will come away with the obvious thought that not only the words but the very intent of each part of the Bill of Rights is timeless because human nature does not change.

BTW, didn’t read every post but nobody seems to have mentioned the greater point here… what is “Freedom of Information” is free to anyone who knows how to request it. Some journalist posting something on the Internet can simply be an example use but there could well be another party using it for another use. Maybe positive. REmember when State of SC sold its driver’s license list for $5,000? http://chronicle.augusta.com/stories/1999/01/24/met_251170.shtml
