The State of Georgia has just signed an unprecedented new law that removes all handgun carrying and possession permissions to allow lawful residents the ability to carry their concealed firearms just about everywhere including schools, churches, government buildings, nightclubs and bars. The National Rifle Association hails it as the “most comprehensive pro-gun reform legislation introduced in recent state history.”

Critics have appropriately dubbed it the “Guns Everywhere Bill,” with former Rep. Gabrille Giffords (D-AZ) calling it the “most extreme gun bill in America.”

But proponents of the legislation say it’s exactly what residents need to protect themselves from criminals.

Georgia Governor Nathan Deal signed into law today what supporters call a historic victory for the Second Amendment.

The new law, called the “Safe Carry Protection Act”, vastly expands where guns will be allowed in the state.

As of July 1st, licensed gun owners in Georgia and visitors from 28 other states will be allowed to bring a gun into a bar without restrictions and carry a firearm into some government buildings. Under the law, school districts will be able to decide whether they want some employees to carry a firearm, and religious leaders can decide whether to allow licensed gun owners to carry guns into their church, synagogue or mosque.

Deal said the following about the bill:

“People who follow the rules can protect themselves and their families from people who don’t follow the rules. The Second Amendment should never be an afterthought. It should reside at the forefronts of our minds.”

While signing the bill, he said:

“Our state has some of the best protections for gun owners in the United States. And today we strengthen those rights protected by our nation’s most revered founding document.”

In addition to allowing licensed owners to carry in more places than ever, the bill also eliminates the fingerprinting requirement for renewing weapons carry licenses, prohibits the state from creating and maintaining a database of licensed weapons carriers, and repeals the state-required license for firearms dealers.

Via The Daily Sheeple

While New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg recently launched a new $50 million campaign to disarm the citizens of his high-crime city claiming his efforts “will protect innocent children and innocent people,” Georgians realize that the only people who will be protected by disarming a law abiding public are the criminals predators who prey on those who have no way of defending themselves.

Georgia’s unprecedented legislation is not only a victory for protecting the founding principles of the Second Amendment, but for the law abiding citizens who no longer have to live in fear of violent offenders or a government that would punish them for exercising their right to protect themselves when faced with the threat of injury or death.

Somebody FINALLY got “shall not be infringed”.

    About time.

    • Gods Creation says:

Well, sort of. It does refer to “licensed” people.

A free man needs no license, and a license is in fact an “infringement”.

      • Gods Creation says:

Could be a ploy to get more people licensed….

        • Be informed says:

Georgia is still one of the few free states left. Atlanta is an enclave and shouldn’t really count in the freedom of self defense for the rest of the state. A victory today for the 2nd Amendment. 🙂

            Obama just swallowed mooschell’s tongue

            • Outlaw says:

While this is good news, I wouldn’t get too excited about it.

A license is a form of registry. The article states that the bill also “prohibits the state from creating and maintaining a database of licensed weapons carriers”. How can they license people without maintaining some form of registry? That makes no sense at all.

In addition a license is the state granting permission for a person to exercise a right. A right is the sovereignty to act without the permission of others. Again, this makes no sense.

Call me skeptical, while this is a major step in the proper direction, this is not what the Second Amendment translates to.

              • Ordinary Average Guy says:

Somebody’s brain will explode over this!

              • Yes, I agree: it is good news; and, I wouldn’t get too excited about it.

Georgia, probably like all other states, has a lot of cleanup to do. Several years ago, I served as a trustee for legal defense fund for a man and wife who were sheltering a mother of four kids (3 to 11 yrs) on the run from a molesting father. While working in this capacity, I collected evidence that the father was a member of a ring of pedophiles that had captured control of key positions at all levels of government (city, county, state, federal) in the SE portion of the US, at least; they did it all, plain pedophila to ritual murder. Too much to relate here, see: redressone.wordpress.com/pedred

              • Ga only requires a license to carry a concealed weapon on license is required to open carry this is new law is a good thing

              • Estrella says:

Well in Georgia, a carry permit is a local (county) issued card. Sure, I know what you mean, the State of Georgia might be collecting information from the county clerks, but, not necessarily. After a criminal history check at the sheriff’s office, the county clerk types up a form, laminates it, and hands it to you. It is very local. (Of course, you do have to pay both the clerk at the county seat and at the sheriff’s office.)

              • seataka says:

how can they maintain licensing, easy… its all done locally, in little towns everyone knows everyone else. It really gets a bit annoying if you are used to being an anonymous city slicker..

I recently moved to a little town in georgia, 3 years ago. When I arrived and after Id gotten my GA DL, I asked about concealed carry, because I like to go to auctions, and that required carrying considerable cash. I was told go see the Probate Judge down the hall. So I did and we sat and chatted for 15 min and got acquainted and I told her what I typed above… she said, well I can understand the need.. fill out this form. (it was nothing, I just said under penalty of perjury I wasn’t a convicted felon, etc.. and she said, that’ll be $5, might have been 8… and the concealed carry card came in the mail a few weeks later with her signature on it.

PS: I’d suggest northern readers move south now, while the gittin in good, before the masses figure out the global warming sham… cause a 500 mini ice age is coming… and down here people don’t deal with ******** , they get rid of it.

            • Be informed says:

@ braveheart. In these end times it is always something to consider to try to be in the most self defense friendly area you can be. The more armed your neighbors and friends are the better for you and everyone in large. It doesn’t have to be the U.S. government either that becomes your attacker. Given the circumstances of the world right now it can be a whole host of potential enemies. Civilian militias are meant to protect the civilians. It is too bad that so many of the masses are too stupid to figure this one out.

@ Outlaw. While this news about Georgia is not perfect. It would better if no one had to register a permit of any sort like the other 4 states that don’t require one. It is still a victory for the 2nd Amendment. People are going to be so much safer now that more GOOD GUYS can protect others from the bad people. LESS GUN FREE ZONES, that is something to smile about. Right now ANY positive news for freedom is a reason to feel good. Would you agree?

              • Outlaw says:

I do agree any positive news for freedom is a reason to feel really good. I am ecstatic over the Bundy Ranch outcome last week, but this is just the beginning. The opening battle may have been won, but the war is still ahead. In fact, I believe we have been in this war for over 100 years, so technically, We The People, have just finally realized we are under assault and decided to stand up. They have won MANY battles already, which has brought us to where we are today. There is a long road ahead. I do not know much about the Georgia Governor, nor his political stance, so I cannot be sure of his agenda. If I lived in Georgia this law would not help me directly in a legal sense, as I will not ask permission to exercise my right. I suppose I could be indirectly affected by having more guns in good guys hands around me. Perhaps however the government can see we have had enough and have decided to allow some “wins” to quell the general public who may be on the fence. They may even hand the repubs the election this fall and put Rand in for president in ’16. This would certainly cool off a lot of people who may have decided they have had enough. You know the type. The ones who are stuck in the two party paradigm and believe the repubs will save us all. In the meantime those celebrating the “wins” and enjoying their newfound rights by simply applying for a license to exercise said right, will be added to the list for extermination.
I guess what I am saying is don’t let your gaurd down and celebrate to quickly or our children could be sitting in this same position 20-30 years from now. It is time to resolve this now, so that our future can enjoy freedom and peace and there is no more room for compromise at this point.
Sorry if this comes across as incoherent, I am sending this from a phone and it is very difficult to compose long thoughts on such a small screen with little keys.

              • Outlaw says:

I had not mentioned anything positive above. The good thing, hopefully, is that this will build morale and bring courage to those that are on the fence, and bring awareness to those that are clueless or have not thought about these topics. I fear though, that the government will back off the heat, if you will, and allow the frogs to become comfortable again.

            • Paranoid says:

People come down out of the trees. We are already on their lists. This is good news, I’m Paranoid, but when you start thinking even good is bad, you have gone way past reasonable. I can see a valid point in a license, I don’t like it, but if they really don’t keep the record it just a chunk of paper that shows you tried to obey the law, If something goes down it’s a chunk of paper you can show a cop that says you are on the good side. Just exactly what do you expect the State to do? Provide free ammo?

              • sixpack says:

I’m imagining forgeries and identity thefts. I still don’t agree with registration, but there seems to be no way around keeping a list of what has been legally issued, unless you keep certificate numbers only…The best answer is to legalize it to begin with, and just arrest the violent felons when you catch them with a gun.

              • Good news on balance for publicity value but beware of signing up for permits or registering for ANYTHING not essential. Born in the South but got out decades ago. When I go back its a different world than the one I grew up in.

In Montana, legal concealed carry in rural areas is OK with no permit required. Open carry is legal most anywhere with some exceptions.

Anyone who carries should get this must-have book so you know the details of laws in every state. Don’t travel without it.
                gunlawguidedotcom

Remember, don’t register for anything or apply for permits. The tried and true historical formula is always:
                Registration – Confiscation – Extermination.

            • Mensa141 says:

              Not in Georgia…..

        • That word “license” jumped out at me too GC. And also the thought of getting more people on paper.

Free men carry when they want and where they want without govt consent and paper.

        • SonOfSam says:

@GC Yes it could be a ploy… or it could be a simple balancing act. After all, the vicious felons and criminals out there are ALREADY carrying concealed guns “everywhere”… its just that the dum dums of the world don’t see it, so they assume its not happening. After all, there are rules, and the criminals aren’t breaking those rules, right?

I’ve tried explaining this to members of my own family: anytime you go anywhere in public where there are 100 people or more, statistically speaking, at least one of them is a violent felon with a concealed gun. They are ALREADY “carrying everywhere”

All this law does is restore balance, and let good and decent people also “carry everywhere”

        • Did you see the report from a oath keeper who left the Bundy ranch…..he is claiming that feds have infiltrated the militia there.

          Anyone surprised?

        • Anonymous says:

Just to clarify part of this: You do NOT have to have a license to purchase a firearm in Georgia. Having one expedites the background check, but the paperwork for your purchase stays with the dealer.

You only have to have a license for concealed carry. Though now it appears that to enjoy the “expanded” carry options by the Georgia law (such as in the common areas of the airport), you need to have a CCW license.

          • No license required; no permit required; no background check required and no dealer required for “private party” tranactions in many states.

Check the details for your state here:gunlawguidedotcom.

If not allowed in your state, get out while you can. Consider moving to the free states.

No it referrs to those who are currently liscensed new CCPs will not be entered into a data base that was a major concern. Many people here open carry because you don’t need a permit for that and they didn’t want to be on a government list or data base.

      • JJsan says:

        Hi GC,

I agree but I do have some thoughts and once again I expect some thumbs down. I agree that the 2nd ammendment shall not be infringed, and I applaud the Georgia Governer for this bill. But I do have a couple of concerns and think maybe a “license” is in order.

I agree that free men need no permit to defend themselves, but now I will talk as the former LEO that I am. I think everyone, barring violent felons and mentally unstable folks, should have the right to carry a gun. BUT, carrying a gun comes with responsibility. I think if you choose to carry a gun, and I do and hope all free men would choose too, you should complete a gun safety course at minimum. Just a basic marksmenship and gun handing course. No license to carry, but maybe the equivelant of a hunter safety course.

Now, for those of you who the thought of a gun safety course infuriates “your feedon and liberties”, let me continue by saying this. I want you to think of the absolute STUPIDEST person you know. I am talking the guy/gal with an IQ of a dinner salad (minus the cucumber and tomatoes, because if you add those, the salad would win), hand them a loaded gun with no safety and put your children in a small room or apartment with them for a month while they play with their new toy.

In 20 years, I went to several (under ten, but still several) radio calls where some idiot in his apartment fired off a round accidentally through several walls across sleeping children’s beds. My favorite was a guy that fired his M1 Garand (a 30.06 round) through a half dozen trailers in his trailer park and didn’t hit anyone, thank God.

The point is, you can multiply that number by who knows what when non gun people start messing with guns with no training other than their ego and maybe some PS3 “Modern Warfare” videos. With guns come gun safety and responsibilty. I hope all my neighbors carry in the future (except the meth head felon grandson of the old lady at the corner who gets thrown in the klink every few months for beating his girlfriend or grandma in a meth induced rage), but I don’t want my kids ducking an accidental round though my home.

        Keep your powder dry,
        JJsan

What is amazing about this, is that they are passing New Laws that are already covered under the 2nd Amendment. They need to pass a Law that says any person or Government Agency that Infringes on another person’s 2nd Amendment rights will serve a mandatory 20 Years in Prison. That should push the Prison occupancy rate up for Corporate Prison USA, and put an end to the Gun Grabber Scams.

For many a year now we have been living in a world of make believe. How many times have we been so close to a world war. More than has been reported here. Actually which is worse. A financial collapse or a Tactical Nuclear Exchange? When you thought it out they are about the same. Food shortage, riots, Martial Law, death and disease. Only some radiation is the big difference. Except for the blast if you live after that, in thirty days or so, financial collapse and Nuclear blast are about the same in consequences. One may be quicker to the end result than the other.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu Wednesday night April 23 broke off Israeli peace talks with the Palestinans after Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah signed a unity pact with Hamas in Gaza City. The US informed Abbas that if Hamas and Jihad Islami, both listed as terrorist organizations, were co-opted to the Palestinian Liberation Organization, Washington would discontinue its annual recognition of the PLO. DEBKAfile: By allying his Fatah with Hamas, Abbas has also placed the entire Palestinian movement in opposition to Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

All we need is the South to Succeed again from the Union and its Game On. Florida is a Tax Donor State and gets a fraction in return from the Feds. No, the Civil War was about slavery. Lincoln was against slavery. That’s why the South seceded after he was elected.

      • Who WuddaThunkIt says:

Wrong Barn Cat, that is Public School Propaganda that the US Civil War was fought over Slavery, as it was more about unfair Taxes, however freeing the slaves was a part of the war tactics by the North to demolish the South economically. You see Lincoln has no opinion about slavery he did not condone it or oppose it, as his chief concern was to keep the union together. Lincoln knew if he declared the Abolition of Slavery that, that would cripple the South economically, since much of their labor production was based on slavery itself.

Here are some Abe Lincoln Quotes about Slavery:

LINCOLN WAS AN OBSESSIVE WHITE SUPREMACIST
“Free them [blacks] and make them politically and socially our equals? My own feelings will not admit of this . . . . We can not then make them equals.” (CW, Vol. II, p. 256).
“There is a natural disgust in the minds of nearly all white people, to the idea of an indiscriminate amalgamation of the white and black races” (CW, Vol. II, p. 405).
“What I would most desire would be the separation of the white and black races” (CW, Vol. II, p. 521).
“I have no purpose to introduce political and social equality between the white and black races . . . . I, as well as Judge Douglas, am in favor of the race to which I belong, having the superior position. I have never said anything to the contrary.” (CW, Vol. III, p. 16).
“I am not, nor ever have been in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races . . . . I am not nor ever have been in favor of making voters or jurors of negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people . . .” (CW, Vol, III, pp. 145-146).
“I will to the very last stand by the law of this state, which forbids the marrying of white people with negroes.” (CW, Vol. III, p. 146).

” I think no wise man has perceived, how it [slavery] could be at once eradicated, without producing a greater evil, even to the cause of human liberty himself.” (CW, Vol. II, p. 130).
“I meant not to ask for the abolition of slavery in the District of Columbia.” (CW, Vol., II, p. 260).
“I believe there is no right, and ought to be no inclination I the people of the free states to enter into the slave states and interfere with the question of slavery at all.” (CW, Vol. II, p. 492).
“I have no purpose directly or indirectly to interfere with the institution of slavery in the States where it exists.” (CW, Vol. III, p. 16).
“I say that we must not interfere with the institution of slavery . . . because the constitution forbids it, and the general welfare does not require us to do so.” (CW, Vol. III, p. 460).

LINCOLN CHAMPIONED THE FUGITIVE SLAVE ACT
“I do not now, nor ever did, stand in favor of the unconditional repeal of the fugitive slave law.” (CW, Vol., III., p. 40).
“[T]he people of the Southern states are entitled to a Congressional Fugitive Slave Law.” (CW, Vol. III, p. 41).

Until His Dying Day, Lincoln Plotted to Deport all the Black People Out of America.
“I have said that the separation of the races is the only perfect preventive of amalgamation . . . . Such separation . . . must be effected by colonization” [to Liberia, Central America, anywhere]. (CW, Vol. II, p. 409).
“Let us be brought to believe it is morally right , and . . . favorable to . . . our interest, to transfer the African to his native clime . . .” (CW, Vol. II, p. 409).
“The place I am thinking about having for a colony [for the deportation of all American blacks] is in Central America. It is nearer to us than Liberia.” (CW, Vol. V, pp. 373, 374).

Abe Lincoln must have been referring to Chicago. lol

60% Of China’s Water “Too Polluted To Drink”
    (from ZeroHedge site)

Forget bank-runs, the water run has begun in China. Residents of the western city of Lanzhou rushed to buy mineral water earlier this month after local tap water was found to contain excessive levels of the toxic chemical benzene. But that is the tip of what is a massive problem facing the Chinese people. Not only do they suffer choking smog day after day, but, as The Business Times reports, sixty per cent of underground water in China which is officially monitored is too polluted to drink directly, state media have reported, underlining the country’s grave environmental problems.

    • Logicrazy says:

They have had a water problem in China for many years. Hell they run the sewer in clay pipes next to the fresh water in clay pipes. Also storm drains and sewer are the same in many areas, draining to the closes.t river. I never drank water there, only beer. They have been going to our great lakes with a oil tanker sucking up water and returning to China with it to process into bottled water. It will only get worse, as the world fights over resources…

    Off topic: more silver uses:

    Diarrhea and Dysentery
Diarrhea can be caused by a bacteria or virus. Dysentery is a bacterial infection. By taking a teaspoon of silver sol in the morning and at night, you can prevent these infections.
If you already have diarrhea or dysentery, you should swallow two teaspoons every hour for the first eight hours. The silver sol will help in as little as four hours. Complete improvement may take up to two days. Acidophilus can also be used.
    Diaper Rash
When babies wear diapers their skin can be in contact with urine for long periods of time. This warm, moist area of the skin will allow bacteria and fungus to grow very quickly. The skin becomes red and can even crack or bleed. By applying silver sol gel to the diaper rash you will be able to kill the cause of the diaper rash in the first two hours. The redness and pain can be remedied in as little as five minutes in mild cases.
To prevent diaper rash, you can spray a thin layer of silver sol on the inside of the diaper and then allow it to stand for about two minutes. The approach can also be used in children’s socks to prevent athlete’s foot.
    Ear Infections
Ear infections are a serious problem. In fact, Centers for Disease Control has requested that physicians no longer prescribe antibiotics for ear infections. The antibiotics make the problem worse by making the bacteria more resistant. We now have bacteria that we can’t kill with antibiotics. An ear infection can be a result of bacteria that gets in the inner ear and duplicates itself, destroying healthy tissue along the way. This could possibly leave a person deaf. These bacteria can be destroyed by silver sol liquid after just five minutes of contact. Use a dropper to place five drops into the ear canal while the ear is pointed towards the roof. Keep the ear tilted up for 12 minutes. This will allow the silver sol liquid to get as far down behind the ear as possible. Repeat the process in each ear every 12 hours. You will also want to drink two teaspoons of liquid silver sol twice daily and take vitamin C.
    Endometriosis
Endometriosis can be a very nasty inflammatory response in and around the uterus, through the fallopian tubes, and even on the ovaries. It causes very painful menstruation and stabbing pains that come and go on an irregular basis.
Silver sol can be taken orally, two teaspoons daily. It can also be used as a douche by pumping two ounces of liquid silver intervaginally, holding it for 12 minutes, and then releasing. This will kill bacteria and viruses in and around the cervix.
    Epstein-Barr Virus
Epstein-Barr virus causes mononucleosis and chronic fatigue syndrome. Silver sol has the ability to destroy viruses. Drink four ounces for two days, sipping every hour. Drink two ounces a day for the next five days. For maintenance, drink two tablespoons in the morning and at night. Use topically as needed.
If you have a uterine yeast infection at the same time, you can use silver sol as a douche, holding it for twelve minutes before releasing. If you need the gel for sore muscles, apply it topically and recognize that acidophilus, vitamins, minerals, and essential fatty acids with coenzyme Q10 may help.
    Fevers
Fevers are caused by bacteria, viruses, mold, foreign pathogens, and even sunburns. To break a fever, drink one teaspoon every hour (up to eight hours) until the fever breaks. Silver sol gel can also be refrigerated and then applied topically to the forehead, temples, or anywhere else the fever is found.
If a fever does not break before it reaches 104 degrees, seek the care of a health care professional.
    Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia is an autoimmune disorder with multiple symptoms. Though a single cause has not been identified, yeast seems to be a common factor. Yeast can leave the intestines and go into the brain. It can also be a neurotoxin, producing fermented fruits and vegetables in the intestines that cause low dose alcohol toxicity.
By cleansing yeast out of the system, most fibromyalgia patients can control some of their symptoms. Yeast can be destroyed by drinking two tablespoons of silver sol two or three times a day. Gel or spray can be applied to sore muscles once or twice a day as needed for pain or aches. In addition to liver cleansing, vitamins, minerals, and freeform amino acids will all help with fibromyalgia.

    Food Poisoning
Food poisoning typically includes symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramping, and diarrhea. It occurs suddenly (within 48 hours) after consuming a contaminated food or drink. It is usually caused by bacteria and viruses.
To fight food poisoning requires aggressive silver sol use, drinking about one ounce immediately, followed by two tablespoons every hour for the next eight hours. For prevention, drink one to three teaspoons a day. This can be especially helpful when traveling to a foreign country.
You can actually spray silver sol on food to kill the pathogens that cause food poisoning. After spraying, let it stand for two minutes before eating. E.coli and salmonella can also be killed by taking liquid silver sol.
    Foot Odor
A very aggressive way to treat the feet is to soak them in warm water for 15 minutes. This will soften the dead skin on the surface, which can be scraped off with a loofah. Now the skin is ready and open for the gel to be applied to the entire foot. There are some sea salt scrubs that seem to help scrape the dead skin off with much more aggression. The EPA has approved the following claim for silver sol: “silver sol kills the bacteria that causes foot odor.”
Flu (taken from “The Silver Solution”, Dr. Gordon Pedersen, pages 24-25)
Gargling for several minutes with silver three times a day can help with the onset of the flu as well. Once the flu has set in, it is harder to combat, but taken at the first sign of illness, it can reduce symptoms to one to three days. Like treatment of the common cold, silver may best be a preventive treatment when dealing with the flu. Consider regular consumption during the flu season.
    Gastritis and Gas
Gas can be produced from yeast and sugar mixing with fruits and vegetables in your intestines. It can also be produced directly from certain fruits, vegetables, and bacteria. Most people think that gas is produced by eating beans. In reality, a bacterium on the surface of the bean produces gas.
Silver sol can help because it destroys bacteria that causes gas. If you have a gas outbreak – including painful air pressure in the intestines – take two teaspoons every hour for the first few hours.
In addition, you might want to try acidophilus and a digestive cleanse. Digestive enzymes can also be of assistance.

Handguns; concealed or not, in the hands of capable users, are the front line of defense against criminals and the initial anarchy which will explode after the leftist gun grabbers make a major move. It is the citizens’ right and responsibility to see to their own protection first. That is an inescapable part of our Constitution and the 2nd Amendment.

No need to spend years repealing one law at a time. Just come up with a set of new (and valid) laws, then just scrap the old ones all at once and put the new ones in place.

No more “legal” gibberish either. Each new law to be in plain English, limited to a single sheet of paper, and including a statement of INTENT, so we go by the “spirit of the law” rather than the “letter of the law”. Result? No more loopholes for the weasels known as lawyers to get wealthy criminals off the hook.

Politicians to serve a single one-year term during their entire lifetime, and the people to have a way to fire any politician failing to represent them.

If a lawMAKER (politician) becomes a lawBREAKER (criminal) there’s no excuse, because he of all people should know what the law is, so sieze all his assets and DOUBLE the usual sentence.

One man one vote isn’t necessarily perfect, but the system would be vastly improved if an abstention counted as a vote against ALL candidates, with a minimum percentage requirement for anyone to be elected.

No “federal reserve” = no taxes. If government needs money, it CREATES it, interest free, on behalf of the people, NOT faceless foreign bankers.

Proposed new laws, and updates to existing laws, to be put to the vote, with a 60-80% positive vote required for the proposal to become law. Same voting rules as above, with an abstention counting as a vote against the proposal.

It won’t happen until WE take over, but it’s an idea for when we do.

“Saudi Arabia has been accused by health care experts of obscuring information about an outbreak of the deadly Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), after a surge in reported cases of the virus this month.”

A statement released by the World Health Organization confirmed that they were not receiving timely data on the spread of MERS, as they did not have the latest infection count. ”

““It took us over a year to get the first hundred cases of this viral infection,” Osterholm told NPR. “Now in just the last two weeks, we’ve had a hundred cases. … There’s a major change occurring that cannot just be attributed to better case detection. Something’s happening.”

It has been bought to the courts by the native American tribal decedents who stake its claim. The extraordinary hypocrisy from the talking heads on the right is that not one militia man or one Fox News guy came to the defense of the native peoples in this case, to fight against overreach by the Feds and help get their land back.
