More than half of my liquid assets are in gold and gold mining stocks.

I think 5% is too low. I think most people should have 10% – 20% in gold and gold related assets.

Got gold? Mr. Schiff puts his money where his mouth is.

The world is going to understand that they don’t need to lend us money, that they don’t need our consumers. That there’s no point to export if you can’t import back. The world’s going to export less but they’re still going to produce as much. They’re just going to consumeÂ themselves. America is in for a rude awakening.

While Peter Schiff’s decoupling scenario did not play out in 2008, it is only a matter of time before it does.
