World Faces New Collapse Under Strong Dollar: “We’re Going to Have Another Financial Crisis”

Global Economic Crisis

It has always been said that what goes up must come down, and it has equally been said that the bigger they are, the harder they fall.

The currency bubble we now face is not only dangerous, it is ironic and poised for a crash.

Don’t be fooled by the calm before the storm.

The U.S. petrodollar – which has been the de facto global reserve currency for more than 40 years – is truly in decline, even as the financial terminology labels it as “strong.” A deceptive term to be sure.

The dollar is trading at a higher rate than anytime in the previous decade, hurting U.S. export business and impinging upon the repayment of debts from foreign entities. With the bottom threatening to come unglued, it is this “strong” high from which America is poised to fall.

And it is largely due to historically unprecedented intervention by the Federal Reserve. Its policy of buying bonds and issuing interest-free money via QE3 has immediate implications that not only determine the domestic economy, but shape global markets, too. Newsmax’s Ashish Advani writes:

Teflon Dollar.

That name would be appropriate for the U.S. dollar these days. It can do nothing wrong. No matter what any says, or does not say, the U.S. dollar heads higher.

[…]

U.S. corporations have already announced weak earnings due to the strong dollar and have issued earnings warnings. Second-quarter results will be worse than first-quarter results are. The stock market surge upward seems to have halted with large swings, and after three months, the stocks are nearly flat compared with start of the year. Yet the dollar shows no signs of abetment.

But the appearance of stability and normalcy is only going to make the inevitable crash worse… with all signs pointing to a harsh correction coming.

Former Congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul recently warned that a strong dollar “is not a reason for optimism,” chiding that historic highs in dollar exchange is a sign of foreboding things to come:

The United States is teetering on the brink of a disastrous financial crisis, the former congressman pointed out. The dollar’s “rally” is not a sign that the US economy is strengthening, but just a byproduct of a world’s surfeit of easy money.

According to Dr. Paul, the Federal Reserve’s policies facilitated the unprecedented growth of the dollar against other major currencies, not real economic growth.

The International Man writes that a dollar crash is coming, and that it would likely follow a euro crash, which would only increase the magnitude of the currency calamity (planned, as the site argues, for the rise of a purely digital currency, controlled and monitored electronically):

It’s safe to say that the EU, the US, and quite a few other jurisdictions are nearing currency crashes, and in all likelihood, the euro will go before the dollar. So, unless the EU has already prearranged a new euro, the US dollar might well be chosen as an immediate solution to the problem, as the US dollar is presently recognised and traded throughout Europe. Therefore, a relatively painless transfer could be made.

However, the dollar, which is presently praised as being a sound currency, is really only sound in relation to the euro (and some other lesser currencies). Once its less stable brother, the euro, collapses, the dollar will be exposed.

The London Guardian warned that a perfect storm of economic factors are driving the world to the brink once again – giving legitimacy to fears that a new global crash is coming, bigger than the one in 2009.

With debt rates among many of the world’s nations soaring, it is chilling to note that “absolutely nothing has changed since the crisis.”

In all practicality, no lessons have been learned:

As Janet Yellen’s Federal Reserve prepares to raise interest rates, boosting the value of the dollar, while the plunging price of crude puts intense pressure on the finances of oil-exporting countries, there are growing fears of a new debt crisis in the making.

Ann Pettifor of Prime Economics, who foreshadowed the credit crunch in her 2003 book The Coming First World Debt Crisis, says:

“We’re going to have another financial crisis. Brazil’s already in great trouble with the strength of the dollar; I dread to think what’s happening in South Africa; then there’s Malaysia. We’re back to where we were, and that for me is really frightening.”

Through this now-quiet but deeply-rumbling currency pageant, the world order is being remade – and the average American will likely not be shielded from its effects.

Though the demise of the dollar and the rise of a truly global reserve currency has been planned for some time, the entrance of the China-led Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank is making some serious waves and rocking the dollar-boat in ways that may only remain subtle for a short time longer. Advani writes:

From a geopolitical standpoint, the U.S. has shot itself in the foot and is now seeing increased hostility to the U.S. dollar. Last July, I wrote to you about the new challenge to the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Asian countries, after being ignored by the IMF and World Bank for decades, decided to challenge the Western hemisphere dominance by announcing their own world financing body, the Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).

The AIIB is now the biggest disruption to the global monetary system since the end of World War II.

Is it time to sell the U.S. dollar now before there is a mad rush and the dollar goes into free fall? Or will the Teflon coating continue to protect the dollar for some time?

The moves in the game are now controlled only by the largest of pieces – with the Federal Reserve the driving current behind everything in the U.S. market sphere.

The average person must be prepared to do with less, to batten down the hatches should this crisis come, and likely be ready for trade and exchange by means outside the official system.

The official currency of the aftermath will likely be digital – controlled by the big banks, monitored by the authorities, and presenting significant restrictions over individual accounts. The International Man discusses a number of these scenarios.

The unofficial black and grey markets will likely see the value of silver and other precious metals, and deal heavily in barter items and secondary currencies to meet the everyday needs of people on the ground level.

Here is a discussion of some of most important barter items you will want to have on hand for emergency trading, including both necessities and coveted comfort items like: cigarettes, soap, bullets, alcohol, laundry detergent, silver coins, water bottles, water filters, water purifiers, matches & lighters, toilet paper, candles, batteries and more.

Stockpiling these items, or having the ability to produce them will increase your positions in times of crisis, and enhance your ability to survive.

Gold will remain valuable, too, but silver is denominated better for everyday exchanges and is thus more liquid, and perhaps less subject to theft and confiscation.

Good Lord, if the US had a balanced budget and trade it would be even worse. Gray had a lengthy arrest record with convictions dating back until at least 2007, according to the Maryland Department of Justice. It sucks, but in America you can’t just severe someone’s spinal cord because they have a record. The cops should not be allowed to be judge, jury, executioner. Then your house is stormed, then you are taken into custody where your neck is broken. I don’t like thugs, but damn the government is too powerful folks.

Baltimore’s population is ~65% nig. With that type of scum thug society, there will be riots and looting. It’s what they do. Let them burn their own city down. I don’t care. Never been there, never will.

        • Frank Thoughts says:

This is what they did in London in 2011. Just pray to God you are not in the space they are allowed to destroy, or that your business or home is not there, as it was for many thousands, who lost everything.

The new police policy is ‘let it burn’ in all neighborhoods apart from the wealthy ‘hoods. If it doesn’t exhaust itself and gets to the wealthy ‘hoods, then out come the live rounds and the troops. But otherwise, ‘burn baby burn!’

    • Acid Etch says:

THE EARLY CHRISTIAN CHURCH OFFICIATED GAY WEDDINGS

      Google it.

I would be a lot nicer if I didn’t have to put up with the constant gay hate from baby boomers. Every post I make about gay rights I catch a deluge of insults.

Why do gay couples offend people so much? I have never caused any trouble around town, that wasn’t in self-defense or standing up for my rights.

      • Paranoid says:

I don’t hate gays, it’s you I don’t like. You behave most of the time like a spoiled potty mouthed child. As to why Gays offend people so much, it’s because gays try to offend people, or tell me that swishing and lisping an the whole bit is genetic. Lots of gay people are simply ignored. But I noticed all the marching and other BS disappeared when you wanted all that non gay money to save your Butts during the aids problem. And I use Butts advisedly.

        • Acid Etch says:

          What the fuck is swishing?

I don’t lisp but I’m not gay. Sexual preference is fixed in early childhood, if not even before birth due to estrogen release in the womb by the mother.

How do we try to offend people?

Should we not do any AIDS research? Cause I’m pretty sure it affects straights too.

Plus gays aren’t fat and dress better.

          • Paranoid says:

You usually cannot even keep straight from one post to the next what you are. In this one you cannot keep track from one sentence to the next. You say I’m not gay in one, and, How do try to offend people in the next. Why don’t you just enter the next English Channel anvil swim?

        • Nobama says:

Gays suck. It’s what they do.

      • yourdaddy says:

        Acid:
Homosexuality is a sin. Period. You continually try to dress it up and present it as a “birthright” but it is nothing more than a (deviant) lifestyle choice steeped in sin. ALL sin is forgivable, and it is the duty of all Christians to kindly point out where one of our brothers has fallen prey to its grasp. To not do so would be to lack charity and compassion.

One of the great deceptions Satan has perpetrated on all of us is deflect/dissuade us into believing sin doesn’t exist at all. He uses glamorous rhetoric to describe sin as a “lifestyle” or “to each his own” or through defensive false postures as “I was born this way…” or his most effective tactic which is to neuter the Christian via, “Who are you to judge me?” nonsense.

Bottom line Acid, you are living in a GRAVE state of sin. If you look past the argument (or rather tyring to win an argument) and get down on a bent knee before our Lord and ask him to reveal this truth to you…He will! Unless/until you do that, any post you make regarding your homosexual lifestyle is self-serving and destructive (to you).

Unlike many on this blog who take your bait and get into a mud-slinging contest, I will not do that as it only further complicates the issue…Which is homosexuality is a GRAVE (Deadly) sin for your soul.

You can do one of two things…
        1) Reply with a hate-laced, barb-filled post that calls me judgemental, myopic, bigoted or
        2) Drop to a knee, ask the Lord to examine your soul and reveal where there is sin in your life.

If you do the first, you will hear nary a word in response from me. If you do the second, then God bless you on your journey back home from death’s door my brother.

Here’s to hoping you choose the 2nd door and come back home (prodigal son).

        • Kula: Here is my concern with jh15. I am reading all I can about it and reading how some of the stories are being debunked. And I am trying to keep an open mind about everything.
My biggest concern right now is that what if this is something to bait people into violence with the military. We keep hearing about the dhs and doj warning that there are right wing fanatics that are more dangerous than isis. And their description of them are Ron Paul supporters, constitutionalists, gun supporters ect. They describe ordinary salt of the earth Americans.
All it would take is for soldiers to come under fire and they would have their excuse to start raiding what they would term home grown terrorists. And I think the sheeple would support them in that.

          • Kulafarmer says:

I feel as you do that this is starting to smell like a setup, a cheesy one but still an effective setup, Baltimore could derail or could inflame it. I would bet derail and cause an unintended redirect.

My recommendation is to sell all the now useless prepper supplies squirreled away and help spur the improving economy shopping at Wal-Mart and the like and taking your partner out to a nice dinner at McDonald’s the American way. • Slingshot: Every city is a powder keg. Whether is because minorities or because wealth disparity or what ever the reason people will use rioting to get what they think they are entitled to.
Places like Baltimore and Ferguson were predictable. What concerns me is things like violent flash mobs during the decay. Once cities erupt in violence most will stay home armed protecting their property, but I fear there will be a slide down where there is sporadic violence with no warming and in random places.

      • slingshot says:

Reporter made comment that people in other areas of Baltimore may see those protestors getting away with looting and burning cars and decide they want in on the fun.
Secondary statement was all those weapons taken from police cars before they burned them are now on the streets of Baltimore.
Across the nation future protestor’s are watching what happens in Baltimore and will plan accordingly.
A police Top Brass stated that this is what happens when you have a Liberal and Democratic policy in major cities.

They are all good boys just having fun.

        • One thing you can be sure of though is that once they get to affluent parts of the city it will be squashed. They will let them burn out other poor people but no way is anyone that is important in any danger from the mob. Just like Ferguson.

Why in the hell were there weapons left in a police car in the area of a riot? That just doesn’t make any sense at all. I don’t know police protocol but it would seem to me that anything that could be used as a weapon wouldn’t be left in those cars.

    • Paranoid says:

I asked my local LEO about if we needed a permit to riot; he said no; but if we were going to block a street we should get one. He also said the problem was they were getting to riot permits after they clean up a backlog of thousands of gun permits, so it might be awhile.

  12. Gonetoolong says:

I can somewhat see the protesters’ point. What are they going to do to get attention. The cops are increasingly violent and will break your face in for the smallest of offenses. Taze your ass, kill your dog, choke you out, shoot you for running, and on and on. Nothing ever comes of it. There is no law in many of these instances for the offending police. (Michael Brown not included). Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like ape behavior, but what the hell can they do that will get any results? Nothing changes. I think more people need to go to the streets for various reasons. When do we feel the need to make things right?

Reporter Fox News stated that protestors are moving into the more affluent neighborhoods. No more info on that subject.

    Open race war= Martial law,
Martial law= Communist replacement of The Republic,
    Communist “People’s Republic”= Tyranny!

Now I know that a whole bunch of ya’ll are going to jump on this and say boring crap like, “We have tyranny now!…or….”It’s all a huge plan by the International Juice Banksters” . yawn!

Russia was taken by Lenin through Crisis, China through war, does anybody really believe that the Marxists aren’t behind these riots/crisis?

    • Genius says:

We have what I call soft tyranny right now. Marxism is what the rulers have deemed as the best form of govt. for them. So, they will bring marxism as their prefered form of rule by whatever means they think will work. Then comes the iron boot tyranny. We haven’t seen shit yet but trust me, it’s coming!

When the rodney king shit was going on I was working in vegas. We had to do some jobs in negroeville and the first stop I made everyday was to pick up the shotgun and various handguns BEFORE starting the day lol.

  22. Ass hat says:

If this is true it’s gonna get real ugly people if these gangs go into better neighborhoods or white areas better be on your toes. Shoot first take charges if nescasarry. This could be just what society needs take all the trash out. I’m staying positive.

Go to section 1076 if the link doesn’t take you there (and remove the space between the t’s to get it to work, hopefully it will.

I am extremely skeptical of the Chinese Yuan or Remimbi actually managing to remain a stable world currency. The “leadership” of the PRC, has artificially inflated their GDP,by building more than 100 HUGE “ghost cities” that are not occupied by a single person. That infrastructure support even though now, non-existent, is going to implode their own domestic economy. They must have as much hard asset gold as possible to prevent their own people from rising up and throwing the out of power. The Chinese people are extremely tech savvy and even more prone to use social media than most Americans are. This won’t end well for China.
