“The next Fourth Turning is due to begin shortly after the new millennium, midway through the Oh-Oh decade. Around the year 2005, a sudden spark will catalyze a Crisis mood. Remnants of the old social order will disintegrate. Political and economic trust will implode. Real hardship will beset the land, with severe distress that could involve questions of class, race, nation and empire. The very survival of the nation will feel at stake. Sometime before the year 2025, America will pass through a great gate in history, commensurate with the American Revolution, Civil War, and twin emergencies of the Great Depression and World War II.” – Strauss & Howe  The Fourth Turning

Strauss & Howe wrote these words in 1997. They had predicted the arrival of another Crisis in this time frame in their previous book Generations, written in 1990. This wasn’t guesswork on their part. They understood the dynamics of how generations interact and how the mood of the country shifts every twenty or so years based upon the generational alignment that occurs as predictably as the turning of the seasons. The last generation that lived through the entire previous Crisis from 1929 through 1946 has virtually died off. This always signals the onset of the next Fourth Turning. The housing bubble and its ultimate implosion created the spark for the current Crisis that began in September 2008, with the near meltdown of the worldwide financial system. Just as the stock market crash of 1929, the election of Lincoln in 1860, and the Boston Tea Party in 1773 catalyzed a dramatic mood change in the country, the Wall Street created financial collapse in 2008 has ushered in a twenty year period of agony, suffering, war and ultimately the annihilation of the existing social order.

We have experienced the American High (Spring) from 1946 until 1964, witnessing America’s ascendancy as a global superpower. We survived the turbulent Consciousness Revolution Awakening (Summer) from 1964 until 1984, as Vietnam era protests morphed into yuppie era greed. The Long Boom/Culture Wars Unraveling (Fall) lasted from Reagan’s Morning in America in 1984 until the 2008 Wall Street/Federal Reserve spawned crash. The pessimism built to a crescendo as worry about rising violence and incivility, widening wealth inequality, and the splitting of the national consensus into extremes on the left and right, led the country into a winter of discontent. The Global Financial Crisis (Winter) has arrived in full fury and is likely to last until the late 2020’s. It will be an era of upheaval, financial turbulence, economic collapse, war, and the complete redefinition of society, as the existing corrupt status quo is swept away in the fury of powerful hurricane winds of change. History is cyclical and we’ve entered the most dangerous season, when the choices we make as a nation will have profound long lasting implications to the lives of future unborn generations.

The linear thinkers and so called progressives who believe that history charges relentlessly forward and human ingenuity overcomes all obstacles as the world becomes progressively richer, advanced, and humane ignore the lessons of history that have been re-written every 80 to 100 years for centuries. Generational theory is so simple that even an Ivy League intellectual economist, corrupt congressman, or CNBC anchor bimbo could grasp the basic concept. The four turnings in the ongoing cycle of history match a long human life. There is a reason we forget the lessons of the past. Those who remember the lessons die off after 80 years. The linear thinking status quo keep predicting an improving economy based upon their beliefs that the next fifteen years will proceed in a similar fashion to the last fifteen years. They refuse to acknowledge we’ve entered a new era that cannot be reversed to a previous point in time. Once you’ve experienced the harsh bitter winds of the Winter, you have to deal with months of depressing darkness, harsh conditions, and stormy weather before experiencing the return of the warm breezes of Spring. The tranquil days of autumn are long gone. This dynamic can be clearly visualized by comparing our economic situation in 2007, prior to entering this Fourth Turning, to our economic situation today:

End of Unraveling in 2007 versus fourth year of Crisis in 2012

    • In 2007, the unemployment rate was 4.6%; 146 million people, or 63% of the working age population, were employed; and 78 million Americans were not in the labor force. Today, after three years of “recovery”, the unemployment rate is 7.9%; 143 million people, or 58.8% of the working age population are employed; and 88 million Americans are not in the labor force.
    • Real median household income was $55,039 in 2007. It has fallen by 8.2% to $50,502 today.
    • BLS reported inflation has risen by 12% since 2007. True inflation has risen at twice that rate.
    • Median net worth in 2007 was $126,400. By 2010 it had fallen to $77,300, a 39% drop in three years. As of today, it may be a few thousand dollars higher as stock prices have risen and home prices have stopped falling.
    • In 2007 there were 5.7 million existing homes sold at a median price of $218,900. Today there are 4.3 million existing homes being sold at a median price of $183,900. Over 1 million of these home sales are foreclosures or short sales, as 30% of all the homes with a mortgage in the country owe more than their house is worth.
    • Federal government spending in 2007 was $2.73 trillion. Federal government spending today is $3.8 trillion, a 39% increase in five years. GDP in 2007 was $14.2 trillion. Today GDP is $15.8 trillion, an 11% increase in five years. Approximately 25% of the GDP increase is due to increased government spending.
    • Government entitlement transfers totaled $1.7 trillion in 2007. Today they total $2.4 trillion, a 41% increase in five years. Interest income paid to senior citizens and savers totaled $1.25 trillion in 2007. Today interest income totals $985 billion, a 21% decrease in five years. Wall Street bankers needed the money to pay themselves bonuses, so Ben Bernanke obliged.
    • The annual deficit in 2007 totaled $161 billion. Today, the annual deficit is $1.1 trillion. We add $3 billion per day to the national debt as a gift to unborn generations.
    • The national debt in 2007 was $9 trillion. Today the national debt is $16.3 trillion, an 81% increase in five years. The national debt will reach $20 trillion during the next presidential term. Normalization of interest rates to 2007 levels would result in annual interest expense of $1 trillion, or 40% of current government revenues.

There is nothing normal about our current economic situation. The unfunded liabilities at the Federal, State and local levels of government accumulate to over $200 trillion. Do the facts detailed above lead you to believe we can return to pre-2007 normal in the near future, or ever? Not only has the economic situation of the country deteriorated enormously, the very culprits who created the disaster are more powerful than they were before the global catastrophe caused by their criminal risk taking. The largest Wall Street banks control 74% of all the deposits in the country, up from 66% in 2007, and double the levels from the mid-1990’s. These bastions of capitalism wield all of the power in this country, dictating who wins elections, who writes the laws, and who benefits from the distribution of wealth. Only in a corrupt, crony-capitalist, citadel of kleptocracy could the perpetrators of the greatest theft of national wealth in the history of mankind be rewarded with taxpayer financed bailouts, the ability to borrow an unlimited amount of fiat currency at 0% from a Central Bank they control, write the new banking regulations and be applauded by their corporate mainstream media for becoming even Too Bigger to Fail. This Fourth Turning will ultimately come down to a clash between the people and the Wall Street filth.

Those in power today are using their ample wealth and control over the legal, economic and political systems to pretend that an epic crisis does not beckon at our doorstep. Propaganda and media spin cannot avert the brutally hard choices that must be made over the next fifteen years. The existing system is unsustainable. It can either be changed by choice or after a complete collapse. We haven’t reached the point of regeneracy yet when civic purpose begins to strengthen. The outcome of this presidential election will determine the next phase of this Crisis. Strauss & Howe described the normal course of a crisis in 1997:

“A CRISIS arises in response to sudden threats that previously would have been ignored or deferred, but which are now perceived as dire. Great worldly perils boil off the clutter and complexity of life, leaving behind one simple imperative: The society must prevail. This requires a solid public consensus, aggressive institutions, and personal sacrifice. People support new efforts to wield public authority, whose perceived successes soon justify more of the same. Government governs, community obstacles are removed, and laws and customs that resisted change for decades are swiftly shunted aside. A grim preoccupation with civic peril causes spiritual curiosity to decline. Public order tightens, private risk-taking abates, and crime and substance abuse decline. Families strengthen, gender distinctions widen, and child-rearing reaches a smothering degree of protection and structure. The young focus their energy on worldly achievements, leaving values in the hands of the old. Wars are fought with fury and for maximum result.” The Fourth Turning – Strauss & Howe

Clearly this country has not reached a common consensus and is split 50%/50% on most important issues. Debates about the role of government are waged with vitriolic passion, but the reality is that, as in past Fourth Turnings, the government has already assumed a greater level of power and control over our lives. The majority believe that government can protect them, provide for them, and pay their way. This is a delusion which will be revealed as fraudulent and mathematically impossible. The incompetent government preparation prior to Superstorm Sandy and the dysfunctional, bureaucratic and painfully slow response afterward are opening the eyes of many people. The decisions which are yet to be made are what kind of society shall we be and who will be required to sacrifice to achieve a positive outcome at the end of this Crisis. Turnings are driven by a mood change in the country and the constellation of generations at that point in time. The generations are now aligned as they always are during a Crisis:

    • Boomers entering elderhood
    • Gen-Xers entering midlife
    • Millennials entering young adulthood
    • Homelanders entering childhood

History does not repeat but it does rhyme, because of the cyclical nature of human experience. The specific events that drive this Crisis are unknowable, but the generational response to these events can be predicted with uncanny accuracy. Each generation will play its assigned role during this Crisis. The current generational configuration will propel events and create a feedback loop that will change the course of human history on a scale consistent with the Depression/World War II, the Civil War and the American Revolution.

“What will propel these events? As the saeculum turns, each of today’s generations will enter a new phase of life, producing a Crisis constellation of Boomer elders, midlife 13ers, young adult Millennials, and children from the new Silent Generation. As each archetype asserts its new social role, American society will reach its peak of potency. The natural order givers will be elder Prophets, the natural order takers young Heroes. The no-nonsense bosses will be midlife Nomads, the sensitive souls the child Artists. No archetypal constellation can match the gravitational of this one – nor its power to congeal the natural dynamic of human history into new civic purposes. And none can match its potential power to condense countless arguments, anxieties, cynicisms, and pessimisms into one apocalyptic storm.” The Fourth Turning – Strauss & Howe

The mood of the country continues to blacken. A simmering anger boils beneath the surface of an everyday façade of normalcy. The middle class majority is being squeezed in a vice, with the rich powerful plutocrats on Wall Street and in Washington DC stealing their hard earned net worth through financial scams, the gutting of our industrial base and a tax system designed to benefit those who write the laws on one side and the parasitic willfully ignorant underclass that is sustained only through the extraction of taxes from the working middle class on the other side. Our society has become a hunger games tournament, with the few benefitting while the many scramble to survive. The stench of class warfare is in the air. The generational resentment and rage is palatable as the Millenial generation has taken on a trillion dollars of student loan debt at the behest of the Federal government, Wall Street and older generations, only to graduate into a jobless economy. The generational contract has been broken, as the older generations will not or cannot leave the workforce due to their own financial missteps. Younger generations are being denied entry level positions, even as the older generations expect them to fund their retirements and healthcare. This presidential election will only exacerbate the anger, disappointment, bitterness and fury among the populace, no matter who wins.

    Prophets & Nomads

Can generational theory predict who will win the presidential election? Probably not, but based upon historical precedent, during times of Crisis the country usually turns to a Prophet generation leader who provides a new vision and summons the moral authority to lead. This leader may not have the right vision or have the backing of the entire population, but he is not afraid to take bold action. Franklin Delano Roosevelt was despised by many, but he boldly led the country during the last Crisis. Abraham Lincoln won the 1860 election with only 39.8% of the popular vote, but he unflinchingly did whatever he thought was necessary to achieve victory and preserve the union. Prophet leaders like Samuel Adams and Benjamin Franklin offered the sense of moral urgency required to sustain the American Revolution. Strauss & Howe give a historical perspective on Prophet generations.

“Prophet generations are born after a great war or other crisis, during a time of rejuvenated community life and consensus around a new societal order. Prophets grow up as the increasingly indulged children of this post-crisis era, come of age as narcissistic young crusaders of a spiritual awakening, cultivate principle as moralistic mid-lifers, and emerge as wise elders guiding another historical crisis. By virtue of this location in history, such generations tend to be remembered for their coming-of-age passion and their principled elder stewardship. Their principle endowments are often in the domain of vision, values, and religion. Their best-known historical leaders include John Winthrop, William Berkeley, Samuel Adams, Benjamin Franklin, James Polk, Abraham Lincoln, Herbert Hoover, and Franklin Roosevelt. These were principled moralists, summoners of human sacrifice, and wagers of righteous wars. Early in life, few saw combat in uniform; later in life, most came to be revered more for their inspiring words than for their grand deeds.” The Fourth Turning – Strauss & Howe

Barack Obama was born in 1961. According to the Strauss & Howe generational distinctions, this makes him an early Gen-Xer. His life story matches that of the Nomad archetype. His chaotic early life, confused upbringing by an array of elders, frenetic alienated early adulthood as a community organizer, and his rise to power through his public speaking talent and pragmatic ability to achieve his agenda is a blueprint for a Nomad. Mitt Romney was born in 1947 and grew up during the American High. His childhood was idyllic and privileged. His moral Mormon youth as a missionary eventually devolved into his yuppie “greed is good” career at Bain Capital acquiring companies, making them more efficient (firing Americans & hiring Asians), and spinning them off, while siphoning millions in fees. He has tried to convince Americans to vote for him, based upon his business acumen and moral lifestyle, as the cure for what ails America. With the continued downward spiral of societal mood, record low trust in Congress and 60% of Americans thinking the country is on the wrong track, the odds should favor the Prophet candidate. The 40% of Americans who think the country is on the right track are a tribute to our awful government run public education system or are smoking crack.

The Barack Obama presidency has many similarities to the one-term presidencies of Herbert Hoover and James Buchanan. Both men were overwhelmed by rapidly deteriorating events, an inability to understand the true nature of the Crisis, and failure to inspire the American people to rally behind a common cause. Both men drifted off into obscurity and are overwhelmingly acknowledged as two of the least successful presidents. The men who succeeded them are ranked by historians at the top of the list, even though they are both despised by more libertarian minded citizens as proponents of big government solutions and control. Libertarians will not be happy with developments over the next fifteen years. This Crisis is an era in which America’s corrupt social order will be torn down and reconstructed from the ground as a reaction to the unsustainable financial pyramid scheme which is an existential threat to the nation’s very survival. Civic authority will revive, cultural manifestation will find a community resolution, and citizens will begin to associate themselves as adherents of a larger cluster.

Barack Obama has fallen short as a Crisis leader, just as Buchanan and Hoover fell short. Buchanan also tried to maintain the status quo and not address the key issues of the day – secession and slavery. His handling of the financial Panic of 1857 led to annual deficits that exceeded 13% of GDP during his entire presidency. His legacy is one of failure and hesitation. Hoover was a technocrat with an engineering background who failed to recognize the extent of the suffering by the American people during the early stages of the Great Depression. It is a false storyline that he did not attempt to use the power of the Federal government to address the economic crisis. Federal spending increased by over 20% during his term and he was running a deficit when Roosevelt assumed power. Hoover was an activist president who began the public works programs that FDR expanded and dramatically increased taxes on the rich and corporations in 1932.

Obama inherited a plunging economic situation and proceeded to make choices that will make this Crisis far worse than it needed to be. He has failed miserably in addressing the core elements of this Crisis that were foreseen by Strauss and Howe over a decade before the initial spark in 2008. Debt, civic decay, rising wealth inequality due to the rise of our plutocracy, and global disorder are the underlying basis for this Crisis. Obama’s response was to run record deficits driving the national debt skyward, failing to address the unfunded entitlement liabilities that loom on the horizon, bowing down before the Wall Street mobsters and paying their ransom demands, layering on more complexity and unfunded healthcare liabilities to an already teetering government system, and extending our policing the world foreign policy at a cost of $1 trillion per year. A Crisis requires a bold leader who makes tough choices and leads. Obama has proven to not be that leader. Based on historical precedent and the rapidly deteriorating mood of the country, it would be logical for the country to select Romney, a Prophet generation leader.

    No Escape

“Don’t think you can escape the Fourth Turning the way you might today distance yourself from news, national politics, or even taxes you don’t feel like paying. History warns that a Crisis will reshape the basic social and economic environment that you now take for granted. The Fourth Turning necessitates the death and rebirth of the social order. It is the ultimate rite of passage for an entire people, requiring a luminal state of sheer chaos whose nature and duration no one can predict in advance.” – Strauss & Howe - The Fourth Turning

No matter who wins the election, there will be no turning back. It isn’t Morning in America anymore. It is more like Midnight in America on a bitterly cold dark February night as the gale force winds begin to gust, foretelling the approach of an epic winter blizzard. There are no easy solutions. The opportunity to alleviate the impact of this Crisis was during the late 1990’s and early 2000’s, and we made all the wrong choices. Now we will pay the price. An era of depression and violence will be ushered in by an economic calamity that will make 2008 look like a minor blip. The next president will still be presiding over a country divided 50%/50%, with little or no common ground on most of the key issues that must be confronted. But, as we’ve seen in previous Crisis periods, bold leadership and history making decisions did not require consensus or even majority support. Only 10% of the colonial population drove the American Revolution. Lincoln was despised by half the country and not exactly loved by everyone in the North. FDR’s popular support progressively declined during his four terms in office. It is the Fourth Turning events, not the nation, which elevates the person to the apex of power. The regeneracy of the nation will occur during the next presidential term.

“Soon after the catalyst, a national election will produce a sweeping political realignment, as one faction or coalition capitalizes on a new public demand for decisive action. Republicans, Democrats, or perhaps a new party will decisively win the long partisan tug of war. This new regime will enthrone itself for the duration of the Crisis. Regardless of its ideology, that new leadership will assert public authority and demand private sacrifice. Regardless of its ideology, that new leadership will assert public authority and demand private sacrifice. Where leaders had once been inclined to alleviate societal pressures, they will now aggravate them to command the nation’s attention. The regeneracy will be solidly under way.” – Strauss & Howe - The Fourth Turning

The Millenial generation is coming of age faced with the burdens of $1 trillion of student loan debt, a stagnant job market clogged by the Boomer generation that can’t afford to retire because they never got around to saving, ever increasing taxes to fund the promises made to their elders by politicians, and an unfunded entitlement liability of $100 trillion for healthcare and pension benefits they will never see. The mathematical impossibility of sustaining our economic system is absolute. It will require courage, sacrifice, fortitude and a dramatic shift of our egocentric selfish culture to a culture of sustainability and caring about future generations. We’ve made many bad choices over the last few decades. Choices matter. These are the times that will try men’s souls. The choices we make as a nation over the next few years will determine whether this Fourth Turning ends in a renewal of our founding principles or tragedy. Glory or ruin – the choice is ours.

“Thus might the next Fourth Turning end in apocalypse – or glory. The nation could be ruined, its democracy destroyed, and millions of people scattered or killed. Or America could enter a new golden age, triumphantly applying shared values to improve the human condition. The rhythms of history do not reveal the outcome of the coming Crisis; all they suggest is the timing and dimension.”– Strauss & Howe - The Fourth Turning

The next stage of this Crisis is likely to be ignited by a downward spiral of societal trust caused by the next financial implosion, which is certain to occur. A world built upon debt, false promises, interconnected webs of deceitful derivatives, fiat currency backed only by the promises of lying politicians and captured central bankers, and a diminishing supply of easy to access natural resources, is hopelessly dependent upon the willful ignorance of the masses. As long as people want to be lied to rather than facing the truth, those in power can maintain the status quo. Once the jarring realization of reality overwhelms the propaganda and lies of the oligarchs, the battle for middle earth will begin. What will trigger the next phase of this Crisis? No one knows for sure, but based on the fault lines already evident, these are a possibility:

    • The inevitable breakup of the European Union with the consequences of massive bank defaults in Europe triggering worldwide bank defaults as the interconnected trillions of derivatives are lit like a string of firecrackers.
    • A sudden Greece like surge in interest rates on Japanese bonds results in a collapse of their debt ridden economic system, with reverberations throughout the world.
    • The Middle East tinderbox explodes as Israel attacks Iran and the law of unintended consequences takes hold. Alliances and treaties would draw Turkey into war with Syria and Iran. Russia and China could side against the U.S. Iran and their vassals would unleash terrorist attacks and disruption of Middle Eastern oil would drive prices over $200 per barrel, crushing the American economy.
    • A showdown on the debt ceiling and/or fiscal cliff results in a stock market crash, derailing the pitiful fledgling recovery created by Ben Bernanke’s QE to infinity measures.
    • A tipping point is reached with regards to the amount of debt that can be accumulated by our Federal, State and Local governments. A cascade of defaults could lead to a loss of faith in the U.S. dollar and a surge in interest rates. The defaults and increased interest on the national debt could lead to mass depression or in a worst case scenario – hyperinflation.
    • A large terrorist attack in one or more American cities would cause chaos, panic and fear, leading to more government control over our daily lives. This could trigger a counter response by those fed up with an overbearing government presence.
    • A catastrophic natural disaster or series of natural disasters would reveal the fragile nature of our just in time economic system. A breakdown of our logistical and infrastructure systems would lead to chaos and mass hysteria as the citizens who believed their government leaders would keep them safe, secure, warm, and fed realized it was all a sham. Their leaders were in it for the power and riches, not looking out for the best interests of the common folk.

No one knows for sure what will trigger the next leg down during this Crisis, but I can guarantee you that things will not be getting better in the near future. Don’t believe the mainstream media or politicians who tell us life in the good old U.S. of A will be back to normal in the near future. And those who predict a long slow gentle decline of the American Empire that can be managed by the oligarchs are badly mistaken. That is not how things roll in a Fourth Turning. Transformative change, chaos, desperate measures, and total war will propel our nation through this cataclysmic saeculum and a positive outcome is not assured. An armed conflict – class war, sectional war, religious war, or war for oil – will be waged at some point and fought to the finish. Fourth Turning wars do not end inconclusively. Each Fourth Turning war has resulted in greater destruction and more horrendous numbers of human casualties. The trials and tribulations that await this nation over the next fifteen years will challenge every living generation to play their roles and bravely confront the tasks needed to reach a new High, just as their ancestors did.

“History offers no guarantees. Obviously, things could go horribly wrong – the possibilities ranging from a nuclear exchange to incurable plagues, from terrorist anarchy to high-tech dictatorship. We should not assume that Providence will always exempt our nation from the irreversible tragedies that have overtaken so many others: not just temporary hardship, but debasement and total ruin. Losing in the next Fourth Turning could mean something incomparably worse. It could mean a lasting defeat from which our national innocence – perhaps even our nation – might never recover.” – Strauss & Howe - The Fourth Turning

For those who doubt generational theory and believe history is a linear path of human progress, I would point to the last week of chaos, disarray, government dysfunction, and misery of those who didn’t prepare for Superstorm Sandy, as a prelude to the worst of this Crisis. The lack of preparation by government officials and citizens, death, destruction, panic, anger, helplessness and realization of how fragile our system has become is a perfect analogy to our preparation for this Fourth Turning. The brittleness of our infrastructure and lack of redundancy in our systems has left us vulnerable to any large storm. Building mansions yards from a dangerous unpredictable sea is akin to allowing Wall Street bankers to create interconnected financial derivatives which will ultimately result in a great worldwide flood that will obliterate billions of wealth. Going decades without upgrading our power grid, transportation systems, or storm protection is akin to allowing our unfunded entitlement liabilities to accumulate to such an extreme level that it will be impossible to honor and the coming storm will swamp those depending on those promises. The lack of foresight by citizens in having food, water, and backup sources of power and heat in case of an emergency is akin to the millions of people that have lived the good life in debt up to their eyeballs while never saving for a rainy day or their retirement. When the rainy day arrives they panic and demand to be saved by an inept bureaucratic government.

Winter has arrived. The gathering storm is about to strike. Are you prepared?

“Reflect on what happens when a terrible winter blizzard strikes. You hear the weather warning but probably fail to act on it. The sky darkens. Then the storm hits with full fury, and the air is a howling whiteness. One by one, your links to the machine age break down. Electricity flickers out, cutting off the TV. Batteries fade, cutting off the radio. Phones go dead. Roads become impossible, and cars get stuck. Food supplies dwindle. Day to day vestiges of modern civilization – bank machines, mutual funds, mass retailers, computers, satellites, airplanes, governments – all recede into irrelevance. Picture yourself and your loved ones in the midst of a howling blizzard that lasts several years. Think about what you would need, who could help you, and why your fate might matter to anybody other than yourself. That is how to plan for a saecular winter. Don’t think you can escape the Fourth Turning. History warns that a Crisis will reshape the basic social and economic environment that you now take for granted.” – Strauss & Howe The Fourth Turning

    1. Well, we can only prepare and be ready to the best of our ability. As to an actual prophet , i don’t know. We know God puts certain actions into the hearts of men. This is why we have to watch for the closing of the churches. Then we will know the time has come.
Prepare and be as ready as you can. Heed the storm warnings.

JQP: yep, seems to be a big mixture in the article above, of new ager-protocals of elders-and Freemasonery. The later, freemasonery, managed by the second entity, protocal elders.

Its keeps repeating that “There no way back to when it was good etc”…Really?…So how did germany make it back to better than before/good due to wiemer hyperinflation era?

Answer= Simple! the germans devised a New Different monetary method. WithOUT Debt based, and Zero intrest/usuary based cash.

Their recovery took slightly less than 5 yrs total. I wont again post long posts which verify and Prove what I say here since I alrerady have posted plenty of such info for past articles here.

I will say though, that there Is a different and better way and it don’t need or require ANY austerity by Us peons etc as this article sure seems to be convinced upon.

This article kept repeating how we elders must sacrafice etc…I read that to mean like Greese’s nation and people are doing Now. WRONG!

Austerity such as greese is stupid and wont fix a thing. Last nite on RT news tv they said greek officials are awaiting their next pay off of $30+billion euros but Must first convince greek folks to allow MORE austerity!

So what occures once them folks got zero to give up?…Will euros keep pouring in to maintain greek polititions etc? Or is that when Greek folks all agree to simply sign over their entire nation-peoples-possessions-homes-cash-gold-silver and FOOD?

If yes?…Who do the greeks hand it over to?…A few Hundred jew banksters types?…..Maybe greeks will do so?

But not americans who did their homework and KNOW whos the True culprits to blame eh!

Them what knows knows its the “TYKW”‘s(the you know whos).

Who/Why says we ever have to repay Looted fiat cash done Purly by and thru Swindles since 1913 fed res act (thanks dems)?

As Nancy Reagan said for dope…”Just Say NO!!!”..No to swindler banksters!…What can they do?…ZIP! nuthin!

Except go on whining of being persecuted Victims for another 100 yrs of crying fits…But This time around the entire world will show a Deaf ear to their tribes whinny crys, based upon Lies.

I Hope its a Fifth Turning and that God Almighty has Chosen Us folks to be His Swords of Rightous Indignation and Justice once and for all time!

Everyone know the verse “Those who live by the sword will be likewise killed by the sword” right?

Well then Logic dictates it means Evil use of weapons will be delt with in like manner…Then Somebody has to be the Ones to wield that sword of Justice! No?

Perhaps that will be Us…And its the reason we all was born in This time and century eh?…..Time will tell. Tic-Toc…

If Christians had their way, people would not be able to decide to have abortions or gay marriage or to practice other religions. I myself do not support them either. However, I support the right for every man and woman to decide for themselves. Christianity is not an absolute must. We as a species survived for thousands of years before Christianity was ever recorded on a piece of paper. Just my opinion.

The truly Christian principle is the social reign of Christ the King. Christians do not banish Him from the public sphere. As one or many possible examples, true Christians do not schizophrenically pretend that they can be “personally” against child murder, but allow it to be practiced “legally” in their nation. Same for usury.

My point, which your miserable reading comprehension seems to have missed, and gee, why is that surprising, is that there is valuable historic and literary components to the bible, no matter what your faith.

Gregor, if you read the bible as a BOY, you didn’t read it. Likewise, if you read Moby Dick as a BOY, you didn’t read it. Or the Iliad, or King Lear, or The Sound and the Fury. Your literary opinions are completely bankrupt unless you have read things as a MAN. Don’t be a cultural retard, either of you. Gregory 8, that goes for you as well. I don’t care terribly much about your faith, but take umbrage at the ignorance and illiteracy that foams from your lips and minds.

              Hi Gregor,

One of the Americsan Founders, Thomas Jefferson – an extraordinary man whom I admire with all my heart, the writer of what I belive is the most inspired document to ever be penned without direct divine influnce, ‘The Declaration of Independence’ – once wrote to the effect that we should be entitled to all those rights which, “do not interfere with the rights of others to pursue thier own rights and happiness…’ I am not quoting him directly here just communicating the gist of what he stated. I beleive in a higher authoity personally but I do not beleive that my choice of beliefs should compel – under any circmstances! – other free choices in the world. Most who do believe – especially in these strained times – do live in the hope that ‘faith and faithfulness’ will help to guide us through the turbulence whch is consuming the world more and more rapidly. to be sure, theree is ‘angst’ among the Children; That is literal German for ‘fear’ and I suppose that in that fear we all fall back onto those things which are a comfort to us in such times. Having said that, there are, is a more militant component that is at it’s fundament, of the mindset, ‘Beleive as I do or else!…” I abhor those types for they know the mind of God not at all. Only thier childish fears and small concerns. If mankind does not soon fiond a ‘New Way’ I fear the outcome will be grim and terrible….more than we can imagine. Thus I continue to pray and HOPE that others of good will and character will – by thier own lights – come to that place, from where we can all become a concert of spirit and make a NEW BEGINNING. G’Day and good luck friend.

A good reason to read the bible even if you are not religious is that it contains prophecies. the accuracy is 100%. So if previous predictions have been fulfilled you can be sure that the remaining predictions will also come to pass. Concerning what to prepare for, in reading the book of revelations chapter 6 is a good start. It is my opinion that in 2001 the first seal was opened, 6 years later 2007 the 2nd seal was opened which means that 6 years later 2013 third seal will open which references economic collapse then in 2019 4th seal will open which is wrol and famine/death. Then things move quickly leading to persecutions 5th seal then nuclear war 6th seal. Then trumpet judgment where ‘mother nature’ freaks out. The seventh trumpet is where the mystery (rapture) takes place. Somewhere in there other prophecies will take place like the mark of the beast and the rise of the antichrist. This is just a broad outline to get people thinking about what may happen. Take care.

Actually, preparing for the ‘unknown’ is not all that difficult. For the last 6,000+ years of the various forms of ‘written’ history, survival (or living – depending on your perspective) has always required the ‘basics’ of food, water, defense, shelter and the mental means of “keeping what you claim as yours”.
The schemes – the plans – the ‘evil’ that is/are born in the mind of man are nothing more than variations of one major theme that almost always involves ‘greed’ which has always been one of the major ‘driving forces’ buried in the motivation of man to ‘ultimately’ bring harm against man.
Those ‘schemes’ are virtually endless in the means by which they are carried out and there is no possible way to ‘plan’ against them all (those are the ‘unknown’ variables) – especially when you have a legislative branch of the government (Congress) constantly ‘rewriting’ the rules in which a person is ‘allowed’ to protect themselves… BUT, the basics of ‘personal’ survival have never changed – and never will.
To re-emphasize a point: just as the founding fathers of this once great country embraced the concept of “keeping what you claim as yours” and took up arms against the opposing force, it’s undeniable that today – “we” – are faced with those same opposing forces, and, just as the founding fathers – having exhausted all other means in dealing with a tyrannical parliament and king were left with only one alternative to ‘right’ a ‘wrong’, it appears that the unknown we are preparing for is NOT all that ‘unknown’ after all – and it appears that we too are being left with one ‘last’ and ‘final’ alternative.

History states that may of (some would argue ‘all’) the signers of the Declaration of Independence put their lives and ‘fortunes’ on the line for what they believed was the ‘right’ and ‘only’ thing to do – and the vast majority lost BOTH. Are we willing to do the same?

Food for thought: Military ‘force’ is noting more than a government’s intention of imposing its’ will against another government’s will. Plan accordingly…

Of course, in this case, it is HIGHLY likely that the coming conflict will be between the US government and US citizens.  The Founders added the phrase “all enemies, foreign and domestic” to our founding documents in multiple places for a reason. Considering all that has happened to incrementally strip away our rights and to add more and more government power, especially since WWII, the government is already turning itself into an anti-constitutional oligarchy.  This change will not reverse itself and it will not stop of its own volition.

I think it very possible that one issue that has caused untold turmoil over the past two millenia will be resolved, perhaps as part of this Fourth Turning. That is religious prejudice and hatred. Personally, I am with the camp here who have studied many religions and find the spiritual impulse that underlies them all completely convincing. I also respectfully decline to follow any of them exclusively. Some of the most barbaric acts have been, and continue to be, committed in the name of religion. If we come out of this chaos with a clear acceptance that what the Founders proclaimed–the freedom and wisdom of religious conscience–it will be a tremendous victory for humanity.

To me, the epitome of spiritual guidance was given in two simple sentences by Gautama Buddha: “I am a finger pointing at the moon. Don’t confuse the finger with the moon.”

I will be the first to admit that I didn’t and can’t decide who God is. That is like me deciding if an oak tree in my yard is a tree. It doesn’t matter what I decide. It is a tree.

I will always try to teach others what my faith is and it is their choice to listen or it is also their choice to not pay any attention. Either way, I have done my job. If I tell the truth and someone doesn’t believe it, what does that make it?

Others have faith that theirs is the right god as well. I encourage them to practice their religion as it is their choice. I respect their ability to choose what they believe. If someone believes in Allah, that is their choice and I will pray for them.

In the end, we will all die and be judged by our creator. It won’t matter what I believed here on earth at that point of judgement because the truth will be before me. I am comfortable with my choice.

If I am wrong, then I turn in to a rotting body and eventually dirt and none of this means anything anyways. If I am right, I will bask in His glory for eternity praising His holy name.

To non believers, what if you are wrong?

          God bless…

You will never meet anyone who will say, “I am a false prophet, follow me.” He will present himself as a true prophet, and he will appear to be true. But, you must search deeper and examine his “fruit,” that is, his prophecies and teachings. The best method of discerning the truth is by a critical examination, because the truth will stand the strongest test, but error will be exposed.

As for God, I’m in serious doubt about my own belief now. I was raised catholic, but I have always thought that the organized religions don’t really matter. Belief in God was the real core. Not catholic, baptist, Lutheran, etc. Believing in God, living your life for good. Don’t lie, cheat, steal. Take care of and treat your children with love and teach them those core values. And also family and friends. Don’t harm or hurt anyone. Character is very important.

But after this treasonous traitor won the election by lying, buying votes from the leaches of our immoral society, my faith is shaken to the core.

The last 4 years have been real hell for my family. We have lost everything. Our home, job after job. We were homeless and jobless for 7 months last year We have lived in 5 different states during that time chasing jobs.. We refuse to give and go on welfare. I was hanging on hoping they would wake up and vote him out.

I know being homeless and hungry is unfortunately the reality for the foreseeable future for a great many people. I’m in my mid forties and I had 9 kids. 5 are grown now. But I have to try to give my youngest children hope when I have none myself.

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20 The ultimate hatred is telling someone evil is good, and they should embrace it and accept it. “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead?” Luke 11:11

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.” 2 Timothy 4:3&4

“Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation.” For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water. But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.” 2 Peter 3:3-7

“Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. “At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. “Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. “Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. “ Matthew 24:9-12 An interesting observation: since the United States founding no one in this country received any persecution for their belief in Jesus,

For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will. “Unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.” Matthew 24:21&22

“Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. “Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.” Matthew 24:32-34

“But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase.” Daniel 12:4

We are living in exponential times. The world’s knowledge is increasing at exponential rates, as is our technology.

All the Prophets are dead and gone on to the Father. There is nothing new under the sun as far as God is concerned.

The article is rather lengthy and repetitive and can be summed up in a few sentences. Here is my stab at it.

The discouraged are looking for a “hero”, when they should be looking for their Saviour. As a nation, we have confused “Freedom and Liberty” with the ability to maintain a warm and fuzzy lifestyle. You know what I mean; a lifestyle that permits having the means to acquire more than we actually need. The lifestyle that gets you a few trips to the Mall and Super Wally each week via your new vehicle, and to return to your cushy, oversized, energy robbing house. The lifestyle that gets you a couple week long vacations each year, so you can falsely believe you are somehow more revived and successful at life.
Instead of following the Wall Street Journal and the NY Times, we should be following the Bill of Rights.

As a World society; we are “regressing” instead of “progressing”. With all the technology and availability of information of today, we still kill off hundreds of thousands each year in the name of religion, medical care, pharmaceuticals, and a desire to “get high”. That figure goes into the millions if you start counting the unwanted pregnancys that are conviently disposed of thru the approval and instigatings of governments. We are not becoming more intelligent, we are becoming more “accustomed” to letting governments and politicians tell us how we are supposed to think and live. We let large doses of mind bending and hynotic scenes corrupt our individualism and creativity via the TV screen.

Our “Hope and Change” is now based on what our government leaders can do to provide a better life for us instead of a “Hope and Change” based on a “personal” relationship with our Heavenly Father and Saviour.

Our future is grim since these children who will inherit the world, will never be of right mind due to the permanent damage to their brains. There is so much blame to go around but we must start with ourselves for allowing this horror to occur.

You wrote, “Our “Hope and Change” is now based on what our government leaders can do to provide a better life for us instead of a “Hope and Change” based on a “personal” relationship with our Heavenly Father and Saviour.” That statement is true to the core, thank you.

Thanks for the vote “of confidence”, and thanks to all that see as it really is.

Tina, if I were to run for President (I’m not), I probably would meet my maker very soon. The first thing I would push for is doing away with the Federal Reserve and backing the $$ exchange with Gold and Silver. Secondly, I’d temporarily shut down all immigration except for elderly, with families legally inside the US and willing to accept them without taxpayer assistance.
I would eliminate the threat of a nuclear Iran, once and for all. This nation “was” founded and the Constitution was ratified, only with the Bill of Rights specifying that our freedoms were “first and foremost” granted by our Heavenly Father, the Father of Abraham, Issac, Jacob and Jesus Christ. No more mosques established within the US. Don’t like it, then we will pay to ship you to Syria. No more Muslim Brotherhood visits to “any” citizen bought and paid for facilities such as the White House or the Capitol Building.
The next big thing on the agenda would be to incorporate Mexico into US borders and stop illegal drugs from coming in from South America via Central America. With Desalinization Plants on the Gulf and Pacific coasts of Mexico, there could be jobs for anyone wanting to work to grow year round crops. Never any shortage of food supplies and Monsanto could forget about controlling the food supply.
With a level playing field on the energy supply. Bio-diesel plants could be the next generation of “Mom & Pop” local businesses. Throw in the availability of affordable components to manufacture our own solar and wind technology and the dependancy on Wall Street controlled utilities would make the Duke Energys,Edisons, and the propane companies of the USA, operate as they should or, be operated by the people and for the people.
Four year term limits on all Senate and Congress folks. No buying your way out of political cronyism. Strict prison terms for anyone defrauding the taxpayers. No exceptions.
That would be a start. Yea I know what you’re thinking. Where the hell did this Don Quixote come from? The Impossible Dreamer.

A trophy for ever team and team member even if they lost (all that does is teach them they don’t have to work for it let someone else do the work I’ll still get rewarded) Our children are our future and this is what we are doing to them.

The solution is simple. 100 million American gun owners and Patriots must come together as a powerful political force and Third Party to challenge the status quo.

100 million American gun owners must communicate, organize, volunteer, donate, and vote for a party of Patriots, Veterans, and Constitutionalists.

This party of NEW Patriots must be a grass roots phenomena taking power at the local level and then the Congressional level.

100 million American gun owners must donate a minimum of $100 each to this NEW Patriot Party to fund a new national organization devoted to the American Constitution.

Candidates must sign contracts to receive financial backing from the Party that provide for civil and criminal penalties for acts and votes for legislation that is clearly UN-American and UN-Constitutional.

All local legislation could be reviewed by Party members on the Party website. Federal Legislation could be monitored in this way too.

All WE need is an organization, commitment, dedication, contributions, and donations. It can happen this way. If it doesn’t WE will be stripped of OUR liberties one, by one, by one.

Political power in the hands of Patriots is the one thing that the Globalists and Dual Citizens that run this country fear most.

One armed Patriot casting his or her vote is one thing; 100 million armed Patriots casting their votes for a true Patriot is a revolution.

        Engage.

DK: Your solution is ‘No Solution’. You still leave a large and powerful federal government. What we need is something more like the older Articles of Confederation with a few tweeks. This leaves much less power to the Feds and lets it lie where it should, at the local and state levels. The military would be drastically downsized and augmented by a very large militia/guard with every man armed. No more foreign interventions and no deficit spending. Politics would become far more local and controlable this way when people can really decide their own fiscal and social destinies through local politics. This has worked well for Switzerland which is one of the healthiest (fiscal, social, and physical) countries on the planet, and they haven’t had a war in centuries. Go figure!

Only 120 million Americans voted. A Party of Patriots, organized, funded, and staffed by veterans, Constitutionalists, Patriots, and Gun Owners could easily defeat the Left or Right.

        2. Each time there has been a Fourth Turn, according to them, each generation has played a part in similar fashion to the same Fourth Turning points in history and we can expect it to happen again in the upcoming Fourth Turn.

        3. Each time there has been a Fourth Turn, the different generations living at the time create their own constallation of stars with each generation being a star in the constillation. This I believe is metaphorically lumping all of the different generations living at the time of any other Fourth Turn together.

        4. When he states that no archetypal constellation can match the gravitational of this one, nor it’s power to congeal the natural dynamic of human history into new civic purposes. And none can match it’s potential power to condence countless arguments, anxieties, cynicisms, and pessimisms into one apocolyptic storm…I think what he is stating is the even though in the past, we have had different generations living together at once, there may have been more hope for them to prevent a Fourth Turn than the “constallation” that exists today. He is saying we are going there with more certainty of any in the past. No other sets of generations in the past has the power to combine misery like the current one with all of the technology driving it. In the past, to find out the discontent of others in the world, you had to watch the news at 6:00. Today it is at everyone’s fingertips.

I think you get it BigB. It is doom and gloom for the most part. To sum it all up.

        1. The S is about to HTF.
        2. It’s gonna be real hard.
        3. In the end, there will be winners and losers. These will either be the bankers with big governments and controls or a free people.

Or, it can be stated in another way: From the immortal words of Kevin Costner in the movie Tin Cup “In every mans life you reach a defining moment. You have a choice. Either you define the moment or let the moment define you.”

People, in the very near future, I believe our country will reach a defining moment. We will have the choice to define it or it will define us.

        God Bless

They have sold their Agenda to US by bribery, collusion, cronyism, and service to self.

They have provided euphemisms to US to cover their deceit, and sold their Agenda to US as “global warming”, “free trade”, “consensus”, “ecology”, “community”, and “global citizenship” through a “community of nations” entwined by the Eurozone, the North American Union, NAFTA, and a Pacific Partnership.

Here’s what I see — throughout the ages, generational dynamics have occurred relentlessly time and time again…as they say, history repeats itself. HOWEVER, this time around, it truly feels different — wars and rumors of wars, taxation beyond the power to bear, great, sweeping earth changes, unconstitutional leadership — not in all the years since I have been born have I felt such a global sense of impending doom, albeit sparked with the small light of hope that, indeed, the prophecies are true — that a true savior (not a false one) waits to take the reigns of leadership from the earthly hands who would abuse and misuse…the fulfillment of prophecy that leads to a truly better existence both corporeally and spiritually. It is hard to be patient.

Big B, The Fourth Turning wasn’t written as a bedtime story and perhaps their writing style and choice of words slow you down or turn you off. Maybe you could try it again. The full paragraph that Strauss & Howe wrote is this:

And none can match its potential power to condense countless arguments, anxieties, cynicisms, and pessimisms into one apocalyptic storm.”

In essence, the authors are defining generations as they age and naturally progress through life, both the previous generations and this new one termed “Crisis”. The analogy of our collective generations (in other words, our society of people) is being illustrated like a constellation (group of stars). Both are systems, dynamic, alive, often vast, but are visual and identifiable. The portion you quoted that stumped you are essentially saying that the force of this “Crisis” conglomerate of generations is a force unlike others, never before seen. At least that’s my take-away.

I’ve always felt that Strauss & Howe provided great insight by dissecting our social structure so that we can see the history and predictability of our behaviors. If these authors don’t work for you, try other books on sociology and civilizations because there are predictable outcomes. I don’t find that the Fourth Turning is ‘doom and gloom’ at all — just the opposite. Sometimes learning the theory makes the problem easier to grasp.

Did you happen to see a video clip of aprox. 47 seconds long, where Romney was at some radio interview(think it was from 2 yrs ago?) and hes discussing Prophetic stuf for Christs return and Rule of earth?

Romney said “When Jesus returns to rule the Kingdom here, He will rule from Two locations….1 in jeruselem and the second place from MISSOURI!!!!!!!” Must be in his mormon cult bible cause I aint seen such in any of Mine.

As I read this article I figured sooner or later it would mention Romney as that Prophet guy.

Glen Beck is also a mormon and he said on a fox tv beck episode that he, beck, was an Prophet/apostle and he thinks God apointed beck to Fix america etc.

Beck also on tv live from Telaviv or jeruselem, stood at a podium and said “I am now a jew…Now we ALL are or should be jews”

Then a few weeks later, I read at a website by some guy named Paul Drockton, himself a mormon or perhaps an EX mormon(?).

That, and I know not if this is true or not?…But drockton(or another writer) said beck and romney and All mormons believe when they get baptized, their blood and DNA actually mysteriously changes into Pure jewish blood as they arise from the water.

True?…Don’t know…same guy also said mormons believe They are the Real jews temple where the Lord will rule from etc. And they the mormons after switched to Imortal bodies will fly thru deep space and Finish all the planets in entire universe.

By “finish” he means God didn’t or wasn’t able to finish creating life-animals-trees-people etc like God did on earth.

So them mormons are who will do so as Their destiny etc.

That idea is also what Herbert W. Armstrong’s cult followers also state is Their agenda or destiny.

Personally I think its a mixture of bible christianity and New ager stuf…IE: the belief we all can be “Little Gods” within ourselves…But we must Learn the secrets to unlock our own little god inside of us, so it can become an Outward Bigger-little god…

Only then will we be exact duplicates of God the Father because we are His children and thats what the bible means by “Man created In Gods Image and Likeness”.

Especially that “Likeness” to God part!…How can you be Like God unless You too can “Think and Create” exact same way as God Himself did and does etc?

DISCLAIMER!! I do NOT believe such nonsense…And I do not know if mormons do believe this stuf. But I have read basically the same description for mormons from several different sources. All of which claimed to be a mormon or an EX mormon….

One things certain…”IF” Romney actually does subscribe to this stuf?…..We may have alot more to worry about than we ever had with Hobammy eh!

I do Know for certain both Beck and Romney are Rabid pro-jew-pro-isreal war monger Hawks to the inth degree.

Glen Beck is only outdone by pastor John Haggee where both are concerned(jews/isreal issues)…Thats Very Scarry I think!

        WWIII soon?..Lets Hope not!

one of the best articles I’ve ever read from anyone. When the true SHTF comes, and the entire political and financial system collapses, life will never be the same again in America. It will be a totally different world out there and only those who have prepared to any degree will survive it. We will all be living the true prepper lifestyle whether we want it or not. There’s no way to stop what’s coming; there’s no turning back. it’s going to be like that article Be Informed posted a while back about how horrific life will be for the nonprepper; their days on this earth in post-SHTF will be numbered; a very small number. i believe the scenario will be like in “One Second After” which I finally read during the 2nd week of October. I couldn’t get through that book without breaking down; I don’t think anyone else in their right mind could either. however, there are some good things that can come out of post-SHTF if the survivors are willing to work together. We can go back to the kind of country that God intended for us to have. now I’m just waiting to see what tonight brings. Braveheart

We can argue the existance of the Enlightened Ones or Accept that in the end that a government craves power and will evolove to the point that it does not care for its people only the preservation of the state. It will follow the path of least resistance as per human nature and covertly subdue its people by using the same laws against them that created it. As we well see now. The evil in our government is there because we failed to adhere to our founding fathers principles. We got lazy and wanted others to do the dirty work for us. Moses (his body)was also taken by God (after dying a physical death), and being the “law-giver”, I believe he would be the more likely candidate over Enoch.
Both were with Christ at the Mount of transfiguration.

              Proven to be right…

I would be very interested in reading the proof you have, or anyone has, if you want to link some information.

              Just to be clear –

The Bible is not proof. “Because it says so in the Bible” is the weakest argument for proof.

Your personal feelings, experiences and thoughts on the matter (i.e. faith) is not proof.

But, let’s just assume for a second that you are right, that god does exist and everything in the Bible and all the trappings of religion are true. Then why, might I ask, are you preparing? Why are you on this site? If it always has been, always will be his will, and that nothing happens that is not according to his plan, then why prepare to mitigate the rather nasty effects of his divine plan for you and all of us? Are you not hedging your bets against his desires? Does god really need you to store food, water and ammunition in order for his cosmically perfect plan to come to fruition?

Moreso, why does the pope ride around in a bullet-proof car? That’s not really faith in action. Do you wear a seat belt when you drive a car? If so, why? Will you not be in a better place if you were to die? If you believe so, then why try and stop that?

The reason is because you, like the pope and most other believers do not have the courage of your convictions. You don’t really believe “the lord will provide.” You don’t really believe every word in the Bible as literal, or if you do, have no intention of following it to the letter. At the least, you pick the nice bits of it to follow, and ignore the more heinous and gruesome parts of it.

If I’m wrong, prove it to me. Send me a photo or news clipping of you stoning to death your unruly child at the edge of town (Deuteronomy 21-18:21). If you have no children, send me some proof of your close friends doing this. Show me how you have put to death, or urged others to kill homosexuals (Leviticus 20:13). Explain to me how exactly Judas died. Hanging (Matthew 27:5) or disembowelment (Acts 1:18)? They are not the same, not even close. Show me how you are keeping and caring for your slaves, as the good lord commanded (1 Timothy 6:1-2 and Colossians 3:22-25).

C’mon, give me your very best proof, your very best explanation.

God did give us “freewill” and grey matter to think with.
God expects us to use our common sense when and where it is needed.
At this point and time, a common sense approach to prepping is very important. Just ask the people stranded in the Northeast because of “Sandy”, what they would have done differently? I doubt very many would say they wish they would have prayed harder for divine intervention.
The more likely response would be; “I wish I would have used more common sense and either got the hell out early or prepared more”.

Just in case you don’t survive a clamity; The first item of being prepared should be, being prepared within your heart to meet your maker. Everything else follows on a prioritized basis. Just sayin’.

A funny thing happened on the way to the election…

I was driving down 8th Street this morning, on my way to the polls. Being a good citizen, I wanted to get my vote in early, so they can count it as many times as needed.
There, on the corner, was a fallen down Obama sign in my neighbors yard. Being a good neighbor, as well as a good citizen, I stopped and went to stand it back up. Just then, my neighbor saw me. Evidently he thought I was vandalizing the sign. Or stealing it or something. (it was probably the 28 Ron Paul/Newt Gingrich/Romney/ McCain-Palin/Goldwater bumper stickers on my car that caused his misunderstanding.)
He yelled something impolite, then opened his front door and out comes a snarling 400 lb Rottweiler. “Sick him, Thor!” hollered my neighbor, and next thing I know I’m facing a spiked-collared four-legged maniac! For a moment, I was in a panic!
I’d left my 2nd amendment in the car glove box. I was, after all, on my way to vote, and I rarely need it there. So, I used the Obama placard and it’s little wooden stick to fend off the beast as I retreated toward my vehicle. What I’d completely forgotten about was Butch. He’s my chihuahua and loves to jump in and ride along whenever I go to town.
Soon as I opened the car door, Butch bounded out like a mini-me version of the tasmanian devil! He took a flying leap, which for him is only about 18 inches off the ground, and landed, teeth first, on the rottweiler’s ear! He sunk in like a tick and chewed mightily, yapping his little head off.
The big dog screeched in pain and high-tailed it back toward home. He ran right past the startled neighbor, still standing in his doorway, and right into the house. And there was Butch, still dangling from his ear like a bad piece of jewelry!
The neighbor swore, and stalked into his house, leaving the door wide open. It’s a good thing he did, too. About ten seconds later, he ran out of his house at full speed. Right on his heels was Thor, and, chasing them both, was little Butch! He ran them around the front yard for about fifteen laps. Then, thinking they’d probably learned their lesson, he trotted over to me.
He wagged his puny tail and looked up, as if to ask, “You reckon they’ve had enough? Or should I go whoop on ‘em some more?” I picked him up and petted him. The rottweiler was hiding under a shrub, trembling. My neighbor, pale and gasping for breath, glared at me from across his yard. I pointed Butch at him like a loaded .357. “Just so you’ll know, I was putting your sign back up, not stealing it. But if you mess with me again….I’ll bring the poodle next time!”

I would much rather cast my vote for Bill Maher, Jon Stewart or Bill Hicks (were he alive) for President. And when voting a comedian into office seems a better choice than the two puppets forced upon us, it seems Mencken will at last have his day:

“As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.”

I will not be watching any of the election tonight for one reason, it is a distraction to what we all better be getting ready for. The simple fact is that most people have forced themselves to stomach rombot because they are so desperate to get rid of BO. Rombot is awful bad and to put this f’en idiot in the same picture as Ben Franklin and Abe Lincoln, (true Ammerican patriots) is sick. I can understand wanting to get rid of BO, that is a good positive thing. To call that piece of s%^% a prophet and someone that will help the country is the trap that I am talking that will destroy most preppers.

My ONLY concern is that NO ONE is fooled by this f’en imbecile and total chronic liar whether he is aware of it or not, should he be elected. EVERYONE that jumps on the bandwagon of rombot should he win with go off the cliff with the non preppers. This trap is lethal because of being seduced by some crackerjack leader that he is some sort of something sent by God. People that fall into this trap will stop or slow down preparing and be royally f’ed WHEN SHTF, which it will. I have seen this happen again and again, even with that stink bug BO from preppers that slowed down their efforts because the black guy was going to change everything for the better.

I point to a case of RICH99 that kept saying 5-8 years, we have nothing to worry about, RICH was at ground zero of Sandy. No matter what IF that piece of cow manure wins tonight over the piece of pig manure, you cannot fall into this TRAP of thinking that rombot will help you and stop or slow down your preparedness because “THIS ONE” will be the one. God, dear God help anyone that falls into this trap that thinks that pile of manure r’money will do anything. God, dear God, help anyone that thinks that the other pile of manure BO will do anything should he win.

This article shows the same idiotic TRAP that so many people fell for with BO, and just look what happened. People, NO ONE be fooled by this pure garbage that each time these false prophets pour on us like poison. IF there is a 2016 election we all will get the same crap, and the same results. Vote the bum out. The people never learn and why there is ONLY 1% of the people that prepare out there.

One other thing. When people lose that urgency to prepare they lose. No matter whom wins, no one can lose that urgency to prepare by the same trap that nailed a bunch of black people that were preppers, especially after Katrina, after BO won in 2008. Anyone that is lost in awe to any leader, in any country, in any time of history past, present, and future, has already lost everything. NO ONE fall into this trap, we can’t lose anymore dedicated preppers/survivalists or we are going to be too outnumbered when SHTF.

@ VRF. This is all I care about is preppers/survivalists. We cannot lose anymore people to the TRAP that too many people fall into thinking that the leader is going to rescue everyone. Each election the prepper/survivalists totals go down as people lose the incentive to prepare. People cannot fall into this trap of thinking that this one is the one, in either case of whom wins. It is bad enough to be outnumbered almost 100-1 when the masses try to find whom has food and other supplies. Being outnumbered 200-1 or more is a nightmare for the preppers/survivalists.

This is why I am so desperately harping on this and why the pure absurdity of this article shows why no one must allow themselves to stop or slow down their preparedness and fall into a trap of absolute false unfounded hope for some leader, in ANY country, with spikes in at the bottom.

Now for the total non-biased scientific approach to figuring out what is going to happen tonight. People may or may not like it, but the ONLY way to view something like this would be someone that does not care in another country.

First and foremost NEVER underestimate the dire fear of those that are worried about entitlements. This will determine the election as more people than ever are on food stamps. “IF” these dependent people come out in force it is OVER. “IF” they don’t, it is OVER. And people know what I mean.

Anyone that has played football pools understands that the one bet that absolutely favors the house better than anything is the over and under bet. This is where you try to determine the total amount of points rather than the winner of the game or beat the point spread. This one is the most fun but the hardest to win because the gaming people have a true knack of getting the total number of points so close to what it is going to be. I have not looked at the over or under the total electoral votes that the gaming industry is putting on house’s side that one candidate gets.

The gambling industry does not care whom wins, only that the odds are stacked in the house’s favor. Just like the over and under on football games, they know whom is going to get the most electoral votes within a very reasonable margin because a lot of money is riding on this. They conduct the most accurate non-one sided polls imaginable to determine the correct over and under electoral votes. I will not ground myself with trying to figure this sh*& out. Other people though can look at this and see whom is going to win tonight based on what favors the house winning. Forget about the betting on whom wins, look at the electoral over and under totals and where the money for the house rests. Old adage, the house always wins.

Want to know whom is going to win tonight? Look for the volume of military and police deployment around areas of black population. Light or none, BO wins tonight, heavy deployment, likely rombot wins tonight. Those in the government already know the outcome, as this who show is like a WWE wrestling match, already determined.

For those the believe in the astrology part of it, the moon is in Leo right now until tomorrow at 10:27 AM. In 2004 Bush Jr. won while the moon was in Cancer, he is a Cancer. They say that those that are a certain sign have very rewarding days when the moon is in their birth sign. I am not going to give the two candidates’s birth signs.

The way to determine the outcome of anything is to look at it totally unbiased whether you like or dislike the outcome. It has worked well with earthquake forecasts to NEVER slant one’s opinion one way or the other, only look at the facts. For those that care, these methods will almost certainly show whom is going to win, except for possibly the astrology angle. For me, I rather try to accurately forecast a disaster to save people and so they can prepare.

Need I remind you all that in early America, most whites and African Americans slaves believed there was no other way to life, it was life and there was no changing it. We have fallen into the very same trap. People have come to believe that this is how things are, instead of focusing on how things SHOULD be.

@ Jim Quinn. If you want to really put someone that picture that truly united the country as a generational leader, both red and blue, you would have put Ronald Reagan. The hate right now did not exist with Reagan. IF anyone thinks that the 2016 election, IF there is one, is not going to be one almost civil war level no matter whom is elected, they are barking up the wrong tree. This country is deeply polarized more so than the civil war. The civil war was about the rights of the South and the ONLY reason this country was held together is because the South lost the war.

For someone to be a good leader, there has to be something there in the firstplace. The fact is that wonderful leaders such as Ronald Reagan was honest and striaght forward about where he stood. Reagan was not vague and you could TRUST him. You could look at Ronald Reagan and say there is a a true president. You look at r’money and you see an used car salesman, and a bad one at that. Rombot is someone that I and almost eveyone else has no clue where he stands, that does not make a leader, a waffle master. Granted BO is not a leader, forget about that.

The article was really about a generation leader and in all honesty Jim, can you put someone that flip flops and has a terrible record on 2nd amendment and was not too good for Massachusetts in the same category as Ronald Reagan and other true leaders that helped the country? Come on, the foundation is not there at all. “You know who romney reminds me of, Dan Aykroyd’s character in the Great Outdoors movie that tortured John Candy”. Wonderful generational leader Jim should he win.

Monday, 13 August 2012: Julie went aside after our evening Word session to receive this Word.

“I am planning an immense fall for America, says the Lord, a fall that will desolate and amaze her people. I am sending America sliding over the cliff into financial ruin. America’s fall has only begun, and there are many more chapters to be written before the tale is told. I am bringing financial ruin to this nation. And when I am through, her wealth will be scattered and gone, and she will sell herself for a piece of bread.

“Walk softly before Me in these days, says the Lord. For I am forming My people into My image even as I bring down America around you, says the Lord Who has mercy on you. Amen and amen.”

The Lord’s prophets have been speaking to this deaf nation for many years. David Wilkerson recently was removed from the scene, but World Challenge carries on in Times Square. Other voices are warning Americans to get ready for the worst. Jesus Christ is coming for His people in my lifetime, and I will be 75 in February.

When the world ends, I sure as hell don’t need your god or my god to get me through it – regardless of who the two are.

I am not an atheist, I am non practicing christian because of people like you who take it upon themselves to be a false prophet of their religion, translating the “word of god” to fit their needs.

As humans we may not know all the answers, but whenever someone makes a statement about religion, which is then proven implausible by science, they make up some asinine explanation as to why god made something happen this way.
