    USDA to Purchase Submachine Guns

The United States Department of Agriculture is set to purchase an unknown quantity of submachine guns, leading to questions about where the weapons will be heading and for what purpose they will be used.

    usda-guns

    A solicitation (replete with spelling errors) posted on the Fed Biz Opps website states;

“The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of Inspector General, located in Washington, DC, pursuant to the authority of FAR Part 13, has a requirement for the commerical (sic) acquisition of submachine guns, .40 Cal. S&W, ambidextrous safety, semi-automatic or 2 shot burts (sic) trigger group, Tritium night sights for front and rear, rails for attachment of flashlight (front under fore grip) and scope (top rear), stock-collapsilbe (sic) or folding, magazine – 30 rd. capacity, sling, light weight, and oversized trigger guard for gloved operation.”

Hopefully, those operating the semi-automatic weapons will be better skilled than whoever is writing solicitations on behalf of the USDA, but the fact that the law enforcement division of the United States Forest Service, which operates under the USDA, is not mentioned in the request has prompted some to questionwhere the guns will be going.

“They will no doubt attempt to justify their purchase of military hardware by explaining that they conduct criminal investigations and may need to do armed raids,” writes Bob Owens, adding, “This is part of a trend to arm every branch of federal government, whether the individual agency has a legitimate need for a paramilitary force or not.”

Concerns over large ammunition purchases by the Department of Homeland Security have raged over the past two years, although a recent Government Accountability Office investigation downplayed the issue as nothing out of the ordinary.

More pertinent than the amount of bullets purchased has been the type of ammunition and the DHS’ insistence that companies be able to supply them quickly if needed, which some have linked to the federal agency’s preparations for domestic unrest in the United States.

In May last year, the DHS sent out a request for information asking companies if they could provide 2 million bullets within a 30-60 day turnaround period.

In October 2013, the DHS acknowledged it was hiring armed guards to secure government buildings in the event of “public demonstration(s)” and “civil disturbances,” while also spending half a million dollars on fully automatic pepper spray launchers and projectiles that are designed to be used during riot control situations.

In February last year, Law Enforcement Targets Inc., a contractor that had previously done $2 million dollars worth of business with the DHS, was forced to apologize after producing “no more hesitation” shooting targets which depicted pregnant women, children, and elderly gun owners in residential settings as “non-traditional threats.”

More recently the DHS issued a solicitation for over 141,00 rounds of sniper ammunition, bullets known commercially as “Zombie Max,” a reference to their high power.

    1. USDA has their fingers in a lot of pies and not just cow pies.

Food Stamps and the Forest Service are in there.
It looks like each sub-agency has their own cops and commissars.

Actually, it looks like ALL government agencies now have cops and commissars.

Der fuhrer is keeping his promise.

        • USDA is also getting body armor to go with those sub-guns.

          From Breitbart:

A May 7th solicitation by the U.S. Department of Agriculture seeks “the commercial acquisition of ballistic vests, compliant with NIJ 0101.06 for Level IIIA Ballistic Resistance of body armor.”
According to the solicitation, “The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of Inspector General,” seeks “Body Armor [that] is gender specific, lightweight, [having] trauma plate/pad (hard or soft), [and] concealable carrier.” The order includes “tactical vest, undergarment (white), identification patches, accessories (6 pouches), body armor carry bag, and professional measurements.”
“All responsible and/or interested sources may submit their company name, point of contact, and telephone number.” The solicitation says those sources received in a “timely” manner “shall be considered by the agency for contact.”

When they come in at 0 dark thirty with their no-knock warrants looking for your non-GMO seed corn, you better have some of that AP ready.

It is more evident everyday that the government’s “supposed enemy” already resides in the U.S. How about a question no one seems to ask: why is the enemy of this country considered people who have lived here for generations, whose grandfathers, fathers, and brothers having died for this country?

Or is the enemy someone else, who has infiltrated the country and telling us we must consider the Constitution a “living document with no meaning, unless it means what we want it to mean”?

I am fed up with this BS.

It does seem as if a large portion of the world is only living within the reach of social media, but the truth is very bleak. People have ignored that moment of Obama in history or they refuse to make the connection, shallowness and the depth of knowledge can be measured by the size of the device screen they use.
I often wonder how low info people can openly rationalize their own ignorance, I also imagine how quickly these people will fall into destitution as the new world unfolds before them, the physical and spiritual distress of what’s coming can only be compared to the major shifts in the history of man.

This Rogue Administration has imposed its NWO Socialist will upon the American people and is quickly turning the “land of the free and the home of the brave” into a gulag.

How? By obtaining political consent for “Hope and Change”.

Only 129 million Americans voted in the last election; including those who voted twice, illegals who voted, and the dead in Chicago. It is a documented fact that white voters stayed home. Now, the economic system in America is worse than ever for ALL racial groups, but especially Black America.

Liberty Lovers and Patriots must use the Tea Party as their political vehicle to take control of the Retards and concentrate upon the US Constitution. Just the Constitution.

Do not be distracted by peripheral issues like abortion, or gay rights, no matter how strongly you feel about these issues. Focus your energy on the BIG picture. Stick to Constitutional issues. With control of a major political party, the American People can re-establish America as a “land of opportunity” for everyone, not just the 1%.

Third parties that want to push religious or moral issues are not useful and cannot respond to this immediate need. Time is of the essence for America, and time is of the essence for YOU. Pray for America.

Gun control, illegal immigration, jobs, spending and debt will be addressed by the next Congress. Make sure that the next Congress represents American values and American interests.

Organize, communicate, volunteer, donate, and vote for Patriots. 100 million American gun owners hold the future of this nation in their hands. Get involved. You are responsible for the Constitution in your neck of the woods.

          Engage! :-)

These coming mid-term elections are THE focal point for the future of America. If Obama can consolidate his political majority, the wave of destruction that will wash over America will be unimaginable.

Gun control will become a legal REALITY, even if it is unconstitutional.

If you value your liberties, get involved. Take to the streets, the ballot box, and social media. Magnify your voice in a group. Magnify your personal power in an organization.

The future of your children and the nation is at stake. WE can make a difference. Participate. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Light up the phones at your elected Representatives office about these arm purchases by “benign” government departments. Raise hell.

They count the for and against calls. :-)

            • The Moon is a Harsh Mistress says:

Voting is about as useless as masturbating. Voting for whomever the party hacks decide to offer up to us just gives legitimacy to the fraud that is our “representative” government. Our elected officials do not care what their constituents want; they do what their masters tell them to do and they only give in to public opinion when it happens to coincide with what they were going to do anyway. The current administration also chooses to just issue executive orders if they cannot get something passed by their congressional lackeys, or they go through the other cabinet level agencies and the bureaucracy.

We wonder why nothing ever changes in Washington, yet we continue to try and effect change by playing the game that the corrupt establishment owns. It is like trying to beat the house at gambling, yet the house is the one with the multi-million dollar casinos while we go home broke after every visit. If I were to offer a solution, it would be to try and provoke a reaction from the establishment that reveals them to be the thuggish bullies that they are behind all their outward civility and supposed rule of law. The confrontation in Nevada over cattle came close to doing just that; a response such as provoking the federal goons into using automatic weapons and snipers on dairy farmers refusing to quit selling raw milk is an example of what I am talking about. Unfortunately, violent revolution will be needed to fix the current mess. By refusing to employ civil disobedience to unconstitutional laws and violence to remove public servants who paid lip service to their oaths of office, we have allowed the government at all levels to get wildly out of control to the point that it will take extreme measures and horrific levels of violence to correct.

Seems like if what you’re doing now ain’t working for you, perhaps it’s time to try something different for a change.

We’ve already tried not giving “legitimacy to the fraud that is our “representative” government” without any positive effect.

Might wanna try something new for a change…unless you like the way things are now.

How has voting been working for you? Does your elected representative mirror your values and your views?

The Founders never envisioned one congressmen representing hundreds of thousands of voters. They codified this in Article 1 of the Constitution where a congressman was supposed to represent a maximum of 30,000 citizens. This kept them from getting too big for their britches since they were more likely to personally know the voters they represented as well as being known personally by those who voted for them. Senators were appointed by state legislatures and responsible to recall if they did not represent the interests of their state.

Whether you or I or every brain-dead Kardashian-watching moron gets out to the polls is irrelevent at this point. Countries like Cuba and North Korea have elections too, with 100% voter particpation even! How is that working for them? “Oh, but those are dictatorships”, you say, “and not real elections.” Well, how is our system any different? You have primaries where you choose from bozo A or bozo B, who have been vetted as being reliable to the party by the party bosses. These go up for competition with the winning bozo from the other wing of the Enslave the Populace Party. And once they are sent to Washington, they rubber stamp decisions that have been made by the powerful interests that are well hidden from view; who pull the strings and call the shots. Sounds like a real representative government, right? One that can be changed by more voting?

Give me a break; go vote if it makes you feel good. I will wait for it to collapse under it’s own weight, helping it along where I can and standing by to fight them when they reveal their violent and evil intentions openly.

Moon asks below, “How has voting been working for you,” implying it hasn’t. I appreciate much of what Moon says, but ultimately it is a recipe for disaster. How has it been working for me. Not well, admittedly. But MUCH BETTER than letting the leftists take the whole cake and smash it. Besides, whatever their limitations, I can live with a Rubio, Rand Paul, Ron Paul, US Rep Randy Hultgren (R-IL), and of course Ted Cruz would be marvelous. Our battle is one of education and information dissemination, non-violently. It is these two areas that we must take back. So, yes, I will vote, and am active politically. It ain’t perfect, but it is better than capitulation. And yes, I in fact *am* trying something different: I am working to get Tea Party folks elected, and educating and informing hundreds or thousands of people by talking, emailing, leaving flyers around (thousand of them, home-made), etc.

Why would the USDA need weapons?

Something to ponder. As some believe, it’s just another “arm” of TPTB, to be swung at Americans in case of an all out revolutionary uprising. Possibly true.

There is also another possibility that many have overlooked and it boils down to “sustenance”, and the protection of such; primarily wheat.

Let’s take a look at Russia first. They are the worlds fifth largest producer/growers of wheat, but the world’s “third” largest consumer. Imports are a necessity.
Guess what? Ukraine is the eleventh largest producer of grain because of its land mass and climate, and it produces more than it consumes.

Light bulbs beginning to turn on in your heads?

The dastardly, government controlled, communist countries of China and Iran, consume more than they can produce also. They have plenty of Cash and Oil resources, but food consumption is huge. India is a factor also, but they produce about what they consume, as well as the EU.

          Light bulb getting brighter?

Now, let’s look at Canada and USA. Canada is the sixth largest producer of wheat and the second largest “exporter”. USA is the third largest producer/grower and the “largest” exporting country in the world. We export about half of all we grow annually and Canada exports about three fourths of what they produce.

If the big three; Russia, China, and Iran, have all the oil they need, but need more food, what better place to get it than North America. They don’t want to buy it or trade for it.
They want to steal it; come to take a spoil. They see themselves as the world’s “dominate” forces, locked together against one foe. Last piece of that puzzle is when Iran has nukes.

It has been foretold in the Good Book. It will happen just as it was spoken.

I think TPTB see it coming. What they don’t see is that God has said “He will” take care of them because they are not of our Rock. It is in the works. Watch as it unfolds.

Bought and paid for ‘hired-help’, those tough guys & gals motivated only by a paycheck and that good old adrenalin rush of authority; they have this nasty tendency to ‘fold’ quickly and fade quietly away shortly after receiving the first return fire.

It ALWAYS comes down to one resolute man with a rifle going up against another equally resolute man with a rifle. It’s starting to feel a lot like the early spring and summer of 1967 all over again.

Please be sure and keep your seat belts securely fastened and your hands inside the car at all times. It’s going to be a wild ride!

And finally, here are a few words from that great black academician, Thomas Sowell:

“Much of the social history of the western world, over the past three decades, has been a history of replacing what worked, with what sounded good.”

“I think this man, (Obama), really does believe he can change the world, and people like that are infinitely more dangerous than mere crooked politicians.”

“It’s amazing that people who think we cannot afford to pay for doctors, hospitals, and medication, somehow think we can afford to pay for doctors, hospitals, and medication, and a government bureaucracy to pay for it.”

“It’s hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions, than putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong.”

“I have always believed that everyone should play by the same rules and be judged by the same standards, that would have labeled you a radical 60 years ago, a liberal 30 years ago, and a racist today.”

“I have never understood why it is ‘greed’ to want to keep the money you’ve earned, but not greed to take some one else’s money.”

“If you have been voting for politicians who promise to give you goodies at someone else’s expense, then you have no right to complain when they take your money, and give it to someone else, including themselves.”

“One of the consequences of such notions as ‘entitlements,’ is that people who have contributed nothing to society, think society owes them something, apparently for just being nice enough to grace us with their presence.”

The federal government will be able to control the population if they’re brutal enough. Forgot that “gun behind every blade of grass” nonsense. Once they start killing the families of people who resist then resistance will die quickly. They could let the Russian troops who are already here kill the men who resist. Then let them do whatever they want with the women and children. Someone might want to resist but they don’t want their wife or teenage daughter taken to a rape camp.

Hot debate. What do you think? Thumb up 6 Thumb down 4

          • The Moon is a Harsh Mistress says:

            @Barn Cat,

I believe that there will be a certain level of brutality from the federal government too; however I also believe that the most effective weapon they will wield will be control of the distribution of food. According to Henry Kissinger – “Who controls the food supply controls the people; who controls the energy can control whole continents; who controls money can control the world.”

People who are starving or are watching their children starve would not hesitate to turn in anyone who is hoarding food for a small portion of the hoard. They would turn on family members and spy on neighbors if it keeps themselves from starving. Brutal violence can also compel compliance but at far greater effort and with more blowback than just withholding food. Violence invites violence in response, and the danger is the subjugated population might see that their oppressors are human and can be defeated. The Russians murdered, raped, and tortured untold numbers of Afghans and Chechens with little effect on increasing their control of those countries. In fact, resistance increased, especially from those who lost family members or husbands or wives precisely because they had nothing further to lose at that point. Chechen women who lost husbands strapped on bombs and blew up apartments in Moscow and aircraft over Siberia. We have even seen this in Iraq where every act of aggression only encouraged more to take up arms against us.

As always, those who have access to food are less vulnerable to these coercions, and the way to fight these thugs will be to force them to fight without their high-tech infrastructure and liquid-fueled vehicles. Knock out the power grid, destroy the fuel production and transportation infrastructure, and you have forced them to fight with the same weapons we have access to. When their technological superiority is neutralized, they are automatically at a disadvantage because we have a far greater numerical superiority than our oppressors.

Moon…: You’re missing the point on voting. As the Federal government becomes more and more distant from the rest of America, state and local elections become all the more important. For instance: here in Florida we have had CCW since 1989, in fact we have more permit carries than any state, with over a million permits. Texas is distant second with around half a million. We also have the Castle Doctrine, and Stand Your Ground (No Retreat). This was due to state officials who listened to their local constituents that got these laws passed. While violent crime is fairly high here, we are the third largest state (tied) with a lot of new and transient folks, a bad guy has a much higher probability of being severely injured or killed than other states. By the way, as the third largest state, we also don’t pay any state income tax like most other states, which is also a function of the local politicians. So yes, voting CAN still be important.

You are right to an extent but for the wrong reasons. Local representatives are more responsive to their constituents because they are closer to them both physically, are more accessible to irate voters, and because they represent fewer voters to begin with. As you move up the food chain to the county and state levels of government, the elected officials become more distant and less responsive to their constituents. Another thing to consider is if you live in a workers paradise like Kalifornia or Illinois, your options to changing your laws become nonexistent. Tell me with a straight face that you are ever going to get the almost nonexistent gun laws of a state like ND in CA? There is a reason for this; as the population density increases you reach a critical mass of stupidity, an event horizon if you will, from which no law, regulation, or ordinance no matter how ill conceived, can resist. Rationality cannot penetrate this singularity, any attempt to challenge this critical mass of ignorant voters is doomed to failure. Resistance is futile. The only option remaining to an unfortunate living in such a locality is to relocate to a less densely populated region where the infection has not yet taken hold. This you see in states like Alaska, North Dakota, Montana, etc.

The problem in my opinion, is that higher population densities always lead to more restrictive laws and regulations and loss of freedom. It does not reverse course once started. Everywhere on earth where there are high densities of humans has an inverse correlation of freedom. The population density rises, freedom disappears. The traditional antidote, frontiers, has disappeared. The increasing standoffs between freedom loving individuals and the ham-handed responses of authority come from this. When your back is against the wall with nowhere to run, you fight. Voting will not change this as the problem is ultimately one of demographics and lack of a safety valve for disaffected individuals. Until these factors change, armed conflict is inevitable.

Ted Cruz is “unresponsive” to the voters, as he is too high up? Rand Paul? Mike Lee? Rationality may not be able to pierce the singularity of the Kardashian/Yes we can-Yes we have no bananas chanting types, but *reality* can. In fact, this reality DID pierce leftist miasma that took over Poland (think Solidarity), E. Germany (think the army there refusing to pull the trigger on peaceful protesters in Leipzig, and finally the Soviet Union. And this after almost a century of complete repression in Russia. Similarly, freedom lovers came within a whisker of winning at Tienanmen Square. You also miss asking who, exactly, is going to pull the trigger for the TBTB? Many policemen sympathize with freedom lovers, and a great many more – despite all the headlines – do not want to take a human life unless under very defined circumstances. Same with the military. It is NOT irreversible, as noted above. We jus have to continue to get out and inform and educate.

The elites who pull the strings behind all governments, desire far fewer of us useless eaters. When it appears that the patriots have the upper hand, they will use their trump card and unleash biological hell on us, literally opening their deadly vials full of plagues and pestilence upon us.

I believe those who love liberty will ultimately prevail, but it might prove to be a Pyrrhic victory. If we are lucky, there will still be humans left when it is all over, but we will have lost so many people that it might prove impossible to save the science and technological progress we have made as a species. Such a victory might very well leave the survivors eking out a Dark Age existence for millenia in the shadows of skyscrapers built by a long gone race of magicians.

This game has been played for centuries.

This begs the question…As the liberal/conservative power grab goes on in our fine country, I’m wondering who has control of the “purse strings?” i.e. who’s going to feed our kids. If you’re a liberal pushing the entitlement agenda, it seems that you would do anything to keep the economy going such that you could fund your agenda. Yet it is failing. Monumentally. Interesting. So now the liberal yahoos agenda will inevitably fail. I think it is obvious the liberals do not have control over the “purse strings”.

Clintoon era was the beginning of the big push for the libtard entitlement agenda. Big tax revenues and lot’s of funding for entitlements. The inevitable societal/economic breakdown has occurred starting back in ’08 and continues to this day. The libs jus’ haven’t gotten the news. They’re still fighting for a lost cause.

Russia’s defense is that they can retailiate against any first strike nuclear hit. Take that away even somewhat with a massive missile shield and this makes a first strike by Russia that much more likely.

De-Dollarization: Russia Is On The Verge Of Dealing A Massive Blow To The Petrodollar

From the Russian press…”on April 24th the government organized a special meeting dedicated to finding a solution for getting rid of the US dollar in Russian export operations.”

“The struggle over Ukraine has caused Russia to completely reevaluate the financial relationship that it has with the United States. If it starts trading a lot of oil and natural gas for currencies other than the U.S. dollar, that will be a massive blow for the petrodollar, and it could end up dramatically changing the global economic landscape.”

“Russia is not just a small player when it comes to trading oil and natural gas. The truth is that Russia is the largest exporter of natural gas and the second largest exporter of oil in the world.

If Russia starts asking for payment in currencies other than the U.S. dollar, that will essentially end the monopoly of the petrodollar.

In order to do this, Russia will need trading partners willing to go along. In the article quoted above, the Voice of Russia listed Iran and China as two nations that would potentially be willing to make the switch…”

“So why is the petrodollar so important?
Well, it creates a tremendous amount of demand for the U.S. dollar all over the globe. Since everyone has needed it to trade with one another, that has created an endless global appetite for the currency.

That has kept the value of the dollar artificially high, and it has enabled us to import trillions of dollars of super cheap products from other countries. If other nations stopped using the dollar to trade with one another, the value of the dollar would plummet dramatically…”

Russia Dumps 20% Of Its Treasury Holdings As Mystery “Belgium” Buyer Adds Another Whopping $40 Billion

“Russia dumped a record $26 billion, or some 20% of all of its holdings, bringing its post-March total to just over $100 billion.”

“Belgium” because it is quite clear that it is not the country of Begium who is engaging in this unprecedented buying spree of US paper, but some account acting through Belgian custody.”

This mystery buyer has quietly and quite rapidly become the largest holder of U.S. Treasury holdings. With $40 billion additional purchases in Marh, “Belgium” now has $381 billion in treasury holdings.

I think this is right. Goovers have blank checks so are just buying all kinds of crap randomly. Like you say, much of it probably “disappears”. Gooberment prints debt and spends it on waste (well, theft, perhaps if the items are “lost”).
BTW, I’ve seem some videos on how USDA raids independent farms. I remember one coupe was raising sheep or something and gooberment said they weren’t allowed to for some reason or the other and came in an armed raid and took the animals.

I’ve seen it because I’ve signed for it when it was delivered to the HQ complex. Simply put, sidearms and smg’s have been what I’ve signed for in times past. Usually, the items are immediately picked up by someone from OIG (USDA) and used for the protective details and other agents.

Had a long conversation last night with a USMC career guy. He says there is no difference between Capitalism and Communism. Says he would go where ever he is sent and fight who ever the government wants him to. He has no problem fighting to install a Communist regime or any other type of government. Makes no difference to him. He was foreign born. We’re doomed.

Once again. Show me the language in the Constitution where the US is to send its Military to a foreign shore to establish an economic system to the liking of international business interests? If anything its UnConstitutional to do so.

Since when did the mission of the US Military be to promote any economic system? North Koreas manufacturing closed not one factory in the US.You can’t say the same for South Korea. Industry along with its associated good jobs fled the US post USSR collapse as they no longer feared foreign nationalization.

Who gives a rats ass if several business interests control the wealth with fascism or the government controls it under communism in a foreign land. Establishing a system that business likes overseas is not the job of the US Military. Two time recipient of the Medal of Honor Major General Smedley Butler wrote the book, “War Is A Racket”. He was saddened that when reflecting upon his distinguished career he was nothing more than a “Bully Boy For Wall Street” in his words.

Off topic – alert for EU preppers.

Prepping now is turning into a bit of a game. We preppers are the mice and the paper pushers at EU HQ is the big mean ‘ol Tom cat.

Not content with putting legislation in the works to prevent the retail of many heirloom seeds, they are now going after our attempts to be independent of the energy grid.

      http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/energy/10098961/Brussels-fires-shot-in-China-solar-trade-war.html

This may look on the surface like a good thing – imposing import tariffs on solar panels from China, BUT we don’t manufacture a whole lot of the things. In real terms it means that if you have been saving for a solar panel purchase, it’d be best to make your purchase sooner rather than later BEFORE prices to the ordinary run of the mill consumer shoot through the roof.

There’s a pattern emerging where useful items for preppers are being made either illegal or too expensive to purchase for all but the elite.

Us mice will do just fine if we can only stay a couple of steps ahead of that big ol tom cat ; )

I can’t help think but for the Grace of God so many of the mothers here could be in such a desperate situation. Please ask your Churches to include this woman & her children in their prayers this Sunday, and for mercy for all the other victims of religious persecution everywhere.

This Lady’s “crime” is to be a christian woman married to a christian man, and to refuse to renounce her faith. For this once she has given birth she will be given 100 lashes, and when the child she carries in her belly today is two years old she will be executed. In the meantime her two year old is constantly sick as prison is not a healthy environment for an infant and her wheelchair bound husband is struggling with his disabilities. She has been denied medical care for her difficult pregnancy.

I just feel that if we do not take a stand at these extremist atrocities taking place overseas, sooner or later it will arrive on our own doorstep. The face of wicked totalitarianism takes many forms yet its relentless march is a global one.
