The mainstream media is setting us up. They’re setting us up with disinformation campaigns designed to obfuscate reality and marginalize America’s silent majority, to cause further conflict, to ignore the warning signs of the next economic collapse, and to lay blame on exactly the wrong people  when the insanity begins.

Hyped up news with an agenda, constant cover-ups, and sadly a lot of fake news and stories about racism that have no truth to them is the norm for the mainstream press. It is now 100% propaganda. No real journalism is being done.

Not only are they lying and committing slander, but they are banking on an ignorant reader.

  1. An Obsolete Man says:

    Propaganda, Banking, Ignorant.

    All synonymous with “Sheeple”

    • An Obsolete Man says:

It is now “legal” for the US government to propagandize its own people.

    • GMAFB says:

No shortage of ignorance in Amerika…it appears to be never ending and growing worse with each passing day. Ya just can’t fix stupid sheeple.

      More shit, newer day.

      • apache54 says:

YUP, more people are waking up but lots are waking up and believing that dis-information is correct!! they are too trusting to the MSM to go check out the REAL truth!! very SAD state of affairs we live in, and looking to go down before it gets better. Trump may or may not be able to fix much, he will have his hands full, IF the USA lasts long enough for him to have a chance to fix much!!

      • Zeus says:

Today’s Religion is a perfect example. They believe everything they read. Sheep get fleeced.

      • “Ya just can’t fix stupid” Nope… but it sure is easy to CREATE stupid. Incentivize the the poorest of the poor to reproduce in mass. On welfare? Want a new TV? Squirt out another crack baby. The more damaged the child, the more money you get handed to you. It infuriates me to see people on welfare/food stamps eating steak 2-3 times a week… and I can’t afford fast food more than once a month.
On top of that, there has been an intentional, systematic dumbing down of the US populous via “education”. I have so many teachers in my family, it’s ridiculous… It got really bad when they introduced “no child left behind”, which dumbs down the entire education system to the dumbest/slowest child in the room. THEN they add in “Inclusion” which puts the special ed in the class rooms with the other kids. Combine these together… and you get classes that *ONLY* teach to Mentally retarded (sub IQ 70) kids.
Drop in Common core, where 1+1 = Banana… as long as you FEEL that’s the right answer… It must be… you’re now on the honor roll.

This is all done to Create a population incapable of taking care of themselves, so the liberals gain more power. And the conservatives haven’t said NO MORE, so they are just as culpable.

        • Tucker says:

Her name escapes me at the moment, but the woman that Trump picked to be his ‘Education Secretary’ has a long history of being a fanatical pro-Common Core advocate – but, now, when she is catching tons of heat from the Trump supporters because of her record – she has decided to do a total 180 degree flip flop, and now claims to be against Common Core.

Come on, people. Does anyone believe for a split second that this evil witch has really changed her views on Common Core? Or, let’s look at Trump’s miserable pick for ‘Labor Secretary’ – this guy Pudzer.

This slimy hookworm has spent his whole life being an ardent supporter of amnesty for the 35 or so million illegal aliens, and is a huge open borders loving globalist particle of treasonous cockroach excrement – and he enjoys importing cheap third world labor that he can use to replace native born American employees with – but, now, all of a sudden – when he catches heat from the Trump supporters about his record – he also claims that he has done a 180 degree flip flop and now promises to work to save American jobs? We are expected to believe this flip flopper?

I think it might have been Ann Coulter who recently said that, with the exception of perhaps Jeff Sessions and maybe Mathis – Trump is putting together the kind of cabinet that would be exactly like the kind that a Mitt Romney or Jeb Bush would have assembled.

I mean, for Pete’s sake. When the absolutely vile and loathsome Jeb Bush comes out and says he is very happy with at least 2 of the picks Trump has made – that ought to be setting off ‘Have we got F’%ked alarm bells’ in the heads of millions of Trump voters.

Prediction: The label ‘Common Core’ has been so sufficiently exposed and demonized by the right – that this new Education Secretary, if confirmed, will simply come up with some new name for it. And, the vast majority of Trump voters will not recognize that this is what this woman did – and so, they’ll go back to sleep, thinking that they defeated Common Core.

Meanwhile, the Common Core (Cultural Marxist) agenda – under a new name – will continue as before, corrupting the minds of our kids and teaching them to hate their White skin and loathe their White European ancestors.

          • The Deplorable Braveheart says:

Tucker, good to see you back. I agree about the choices for the cabinet positions. I’m not so sure of Trump himself made these decisions or if some neocon or libturd adviser made the choices. I know this much, if the Trump administration starts taking up where Obola left off, it will be civil war. “Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.”

            • Tucker says:

Civil War 2, is probably coming.

Also, while I voted for Trump – I was not, am not, and never will be one of these blind, gullible, no questions ever asked or no criticisms ever breathed sort of Trump MAGA hat wearing toe suckers or Trump butt crack lickers who will spend the next 4 years dreaming up ‘excuses’ for everything that this guy does or doesn’t do that betrays his campaign promises or which reneges the positions on the critical issues that helped him win on November 8th.

I intend to be ruthlessly brutal with my criticisms every time this guy steps out of line or seems to be ready to cuck out on his promises.

Oh, by the way – with regards to CW2? The prevailing train of thought I have been hearing and reading out of our dangerously out of control conglomeration of badge toting, jack-booted thug lawlessness enforcement agencies is their gleeful expectations that Trump is going to ramp up the militarization of the police departments and give them all of the latest and most devastatingly murderous toys that our military combat forces use on the battlefield. Weaponized drones, patrolling our cities and neighborhoods, ready to euthanize any ‘dissident’ who’s name gets placed on some ADL or SPLC created and maintained secret list of ‘potential’ domestic meanies?

There is one thing I have learned when it comes to politics, politicians and political parties in this country over the last several decades – and it is this:

There is little difference between any of them when it comes down to the topic of tyranny. They are all the mortal enemy of every freedom loving American citizen. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Most of these cockroaches are filthy rich and so most of their material & carnal cravings are usually satisfied – which leaves them feeling empty and bizarrely ‘unfulfilled’.

So, factoring in the ugly reality that the vast majority of them are also psychopaths – these creeps are therefore always in search of some new form of stimuli which will give them the adrenaline kick they are craving. This is where they become dangerous to the people who put them into power – because the more power they have, the more power they crave to obtain.

And, to these psychopaths – the power they all seek is the power to CRUSH their critics. D’s or R’s, or whatever else they pretend to be – it is always the same equation.

  2. SterlingSilver says:

    Global Warming is a hoax.

The MSM is constantly screaming at alternative and independent investigative reporting as “fake news”, but now it’s already starting to backfire on them. It is the mainstream media that has been the “fake news” all along.

It has emerged that NASA and NOAA scientists, in an attempt to rewrite historical climate data, did so for political reasons by claiming global warming was trending upward. The actual data clearly shows the opposite.

The Telegraph reported that “NOAA’s US Historical Climatology Network (USHCN) has been ‘adjusting’ its record by replacing real temperatures with data ‘fabricated’ by computer models.”

NASA’s James Hansen even wrote: “Empirical evidence does not lend much support to the notion that climate is headed precipitately toward more extreme heat and drought.” Even the EPA’s “Heat Wave Index” data further support the notion that the U.S. was far hotter in the 1930’s than it is today. In fact, the data shows that the seemingly “extreme” heat waves of the last few years were no worse than those of the early 1900’s.

Trump said he’ll pull out of the $100 billion Hillary Clinton pledge to the U.N. “to help poor countries adapt to global warming.” He said during the campaign, “We will also cancel billions in global warming payments to the United Nations, and use that money to support America’s vital environmental infrastructure and natural resources.”

    • TEST says:

Sterling, I have done 400 page, 700 footnote paper on the whole scam of AGW, which people like Dr. Richard Lindzen, professor of atmospheric science at MIT, Dr. William Gray, considered the #1 hurricane forecaster in the world (and we are at HISTORIC lows since the Civil War in hurricanes; note that records go back the 1700s with the Royal Navy) and John Coleman, co-founder of the Weather Channel (go to YouTube and search John Coleman+global warming have all called – and I quote ipsissima verba – **a SCAM** (to which I add a BIG GREEN MONEY scam. Or, as another example, Patrick Moore, co-founder of Greenpeace: “I am a skeptic on climate change. I know the climate is changing, and it always has been. I’ve studied this intensively over many years. I started what I call the Carbon Project here in British Columbia back in 1989 in order to bring everybody together to discuss this subject and figure out the facts behind it. Since then, I have watched as hysteria has grown, as if the whole world is going to come to an end and civilization is going to die because of humans causing this climate change. I don’t buy that, and I certainly know we don’t have any proof of it. I’m not denying that we might be playing some role, but the natural factors that have always caused climate change have not suddenly disappeared. I’m very skeptical of the alarmist nature of climate campaigning.” –

    • TEST says:

      … and a few more:

“…hard data from ice cores, dripstones, tree rings and ocean or lake sediment cores reveal significant temperature changes of more than 1°C, with warm and cold phases alternating in a 1,000-year cycle. These include the Minoan Warm Period 3,000 years ago and the Roman Warm Period 2,000 years ago. During the Medieval Warm Phase around 1,000 years ago, Greenland was colonised and grapes for wine grew in England. The Little Ice Age lasted from the 15th to the 19th century. All these fluctuations occurred before man-made CO2. Based on climate reconstructions from North Atlantic deep-sea sediment cores, Professor Gerard Bond discovered that the millennial-scale climate cycles ran largely parallel to solar cycles, including the Eddy Cycle which is – guess what – 1,000 years long. So it is really the Sun that shaped the temperature roller-coaster of the past 10,000 years… Furthermore, what is little known is that CO2 also requires a strong amplifier if it were to aggressively shape future climate as envisaged by the IPCC. CO2 alone, without so-called feedbacks, would only generate a moderate warming of 1.1°C per CO2 doubling” – Fritz Vahrenholt, one of Germany’s earliest green energy investors and global warming supporters.

“On May 1, 2009, the American Physical Society (APS) Council decided to review its current climate statement via a high-level subcommittee of respected senior scientists. The decision was prompted after a group of over 80 prominent physicists petitioned the APS [to] revise its global warming position and more than 250 scientists urged a change in the group’s climate statement in 2010. The physicists wrote to APS governing board: “Measured or reconstructed temperature records indicate that 20th – 21st century changes are neither exceptional nor persistent, and the historical and geological records show many periods warmer than today.”

A former high-ranking Obama administration official, Dr. Steven Koonin, who served as Obama’s undersecretary for science in the Energy Department, and is the director of the Center for Urban Science and Progress at New York University says climate science and the implications of global warming are not “settled,” and has insisted such claims are “misguided” and stifle debate on the matter. Koonin also stated that group think among experts has been inhibiting “the scientific and policy discussions that we need to have about our climate future.” Story at

Dr. Caleb Rossiter, Adjunct professor, Department of Mathematics and Statistics and the School of International Service, American University, is a liberal Democrat, but accepts that science – as opposed to Al Gore’s conception – is science — no matter what your political persuasion. Says Rossiter about AGW: “My blood simply boils too hot when I read the blather, daily, about climate catastrophe” and “Obama has long been delusional on this issue” and “Anyone who believes we are in a climate catastrophe I think is deluding themselves.” Of course, for having the temerity to present his findings about the climate, Professor Rossiter was booted out of a 23 year association with the Institute for Policy Studies. This is the kind of retaliation academics who speak honestly about the climate have come to expect. More details on this at

“During the past 17 years global temperatures have not been rising, temperatures have stabilized. There has been no warming since 1997. The power of solar irradiance has decreased consistently since 1990 and is still rapidly declining. Since 1990, the Sun has not been warming the Earth as in the past,” -Habibullo Abdussamatov, astrophysicist and head of space research at St. Petersburg’s Pulkovo Astronomical Observatory. According to Abdussamatov, our planet may enter what he calls “a mini-ice age” at the beginning of next year. “The ‘mini-ice age’ is associated with a change in the power of solar output and has a quasi-period of some 200 years. Roughly speaking, two centuries, plus-minus 70 years,” as reported by RIA Novosti.

At one Congressional hearing, distinguished climatologist and professor Judith Curry testified that recent data “calls into question the conclusion that humans are the dominant cause of recent climate change.”

“This is not about the weather. It’s not about climate. It’s not about science. Those things are being used to further another agenda.” – Joe Bastardi, Accuweather meteorology, then WeatherBell Chief Forecaster. Bastardi also noted “And as someone who has loved (weather) all his life, it’s really disheartening to see this going on in my country.” And about the NYC March of Sept. 2014, that attracted a third of a million people, “The mask came off. It’s about destroying capitalism, destroying freedom as we know it,” said Bastardi, who earlier this week suggested climate science was “prostituted” by global warming activists. (see
Heck, even some of the uber warmers are getting a clue! “Pauses as long as 15 years are rare in the simulations,” wrote Science magazine scribe Richard Kerr. “Researchers … agree that no sort of natural variability can hold off greenhouse warming much longer.” That was six years ago. Ok… maybe he still doesn’t have a clue.

Even Mr. Warmer himself, Kevin Trenberth, wrote back in 2009 “[W]here the heck is global warming? The fact is that we can’t account for the lack of warming at the moment, and it is a travesty that we can’t.”

    • TEST says:

Mac, sorry to post so much here. I hope I am not over-stepping my bounds! However, I have done a MASSIVE amount of research on AGW, and believe that it is the “thin edge of the wedge” (or at least one of the major ones) to bring in global governance – based on an OUTRIGHT LIE, fomented by the media. I little more, in case people have already forgotten ClimateGate:

Farley Mowat, the noted Canadian leftist and Greenpeace activist, wrote in his book West Viking (written while we were still in the global cooling scare) that there were probably at least dwarf forests growing in Greenland when the Vikings arrived in 985 AD and the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History reports “… Erik the Red discovered two areas of southwest Greenland which were suitable for farming, with grasslands and small stands of alder and birch.” You will note that it is too cold today for any type of forests to grow in Greenland, and there is zero ability to farm, unless modern technologies are utilized – and even then, crop selection is very minimal. Mowat also reported the Arctic pack ice was much less in that Viking discovery era than today. Dr. Fred Singer writes that when the Vikings first settled Greenland, they grew vegetables, and it was warm enough to allow the population to grow to 3,000 people and by 1100 AD the place was thriving enough that they had their own bishop and twelve churches. Nature reported in a 2010 article that clamshell studies also confirm Norse records. Meanwhile, the Archeological Survey of Canada has also noted around “A.D. 1000, a warmer climate resulted in the tree line advancing 100 kilometres north of its present position.”

Indeed, when I was visiting Iceland at Skaftafell Nat’l Park two years ago, Icelandic historians know from extant deeds – and have put in the displays at the park – that somewhere around FORTY old Viking era farms are currently buried under the Vatnajokull glacier system (the largest in the world outside of Greenland and Antarctica). In other words, it was simply much warmer in the Icelandic settlement era than it is today. We are routinely informed of the melting of Greenland glaciers today at lower altitudes, but demonstrably there are at bare minimum low altitude glaciers in roughly the same geographic area that had seen more melting and more pronounced glacial recession one thousand years ago than we see today. Al Gore may want to visit Skaftafell National Park in Iceland on one of his many jet-setting, carbon burning trips to check the facts himself. More evidence: There are records of grape growing occurring in places in northern Europe back during this optimum where they can’t grow today. Gregory McNamee, in the Weather Guide Calendar (Accord Publishing, 2002) noted that wine connoisseurs might have gone to England for fine vintages (can’t grow fine vintage grapes there today!), that heat loving trees like beeches carpeted Europe far into Scandinavia, and Viking ships crossed iceberg free oceans to ice free harbors in Iceland…”. Art Horn writes that “In the winter of 1249 it was so warm in England that people did not need winter clothes. They walked about in summer dress. It was so warm people thought the seasons had changed. There was no frost in England the entire winter. Can you imagine what NOAA would say if that happened next year? “

On the other side of the world, research by Panin and Nefedov in 2010, where they analyzed rivers and lakes in the Upper Volga and Upper Zapadnaya Dvina areas in Russia, also found evidence of a Medieval climatic optimum in that part of the world Even worse for the warmers, recent research has found evidence for the Medieval Climatic Optimum in the central Peruvian Andes – see, southern South America, see, China, see,, where the author XJ Zhou notes “temperatures in the Medieval Warm Period are comparable to those in the current warm period over China,” and Antarctica, Li, Y., Cole-Dai, J. and Zhou, L. 2009. Glaciochemical evidence in an East Antarctica ice core of a recent (AD 1450-1850) neoglacial episode. Journal of Geophysical Research 114: 10.1029/2008JD011091 (summarized at
Amazingly, there is even clear evidence of the LIA and MWP in Antarctica- see as well as Western Canada, as illustrated by the picture of a white spruce stump (Picea glauca) found on Canada’s Arctic Ocean. the Tuktoyaktuk Peninsula in tundra, ******some 100km north of the current treeline***** Photo by Professor Ritchie (University of Toronto). Radiocarbon date was 4940 ±140 years Before Present (BP), and was featured in Hubert Lamb’s classic work Climate, Present, Past and Future. See for this picture, as well as other AGW info.

Similarly, two recent papers, reported by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, one in Earth-Science Reviews and the other is in Chinese Science Bulletin, reported studies of “key chemical contents in micro-drilled giant clams shells and coral samples to demonstrate that in the South China Sea the warm period of the Middle Ages was warmer than the present. The scientists examined surveys of the ratio of strontium to calcium content and heavy oxygen isotopes, both are sensitive recorders of sea surface temperatures past and present. The aragonite bicarbonate of the Tridacna gigas clam-shell is so fine-grained that daily growth-lines are exposed by micro-drilling with an exceptionally fine drill-bit, allowing an exceptionally detailed time-series of sea-temperature changes to be compiled – a feat of detection worthy of Sherlock Holmes himself. By using overlaps between successive generations of giant clams and corals, the three scientists – Hong Yan of the Institute of Earth Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Willie Soon of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics and Yuhong Wang of Fudan University, Shanghai – reconstructed a record of sea-surface temperature changes going back 2500 years. The Roman and Mediaeval Warm Periods both showed up prominently in the western Pacific and East Asia. Sea surface temperatures varied considerably over the 2500-year period.” Dr. Soon concludes :” “The UN’s climate panel should never have trusted the claim that the medieval warm period was mainly a European phenomenon. It was clearly warm in South China Sea, too.”

Another study, by earth sciences professor Zunli Lu (formerly of Oxford, now at Syracuse Univ.), studied samples of crystal called ikaite, which forms in cold water, and will melt at room temperature. Samples were taken by Lu and colleagues, examined for variation caused by temperature fluctuations during formation, and dated. The result? Lu writes: “This ikaite record qualitatively supports that both the Medieval Warm Period and Little Ice Age extended to the Antarctic Peninsula.” What does this mean? It means that the MWP was not simply a localized event in northern Europe, or even the northern hemisphere. And if it was as warm 1,000 years ago as now all over the world, Al Gore is simply wrong. Study summary by the UK Register at

In a study by Kobashi, et al, entitled Summit Surface Snow Temperatures of Greenland, found at, there is further corroboration of Dr. Tim Ball’s contention that the MWP was real. In sum, this study illustrated that: “Greenland surface snow temperature variability over the past 4000 years at the GISP2 site (near the Summit of the Greenland ice sheet) with a new method that utilizes argon and nitrogen isotopic ratios from occluded air bubbles. In so doing, the eight researchers report that the average Greenland snow temperature over the past 4000 years was -30.7°C, while the current decadal (2001-2010) surface temperature at the Greenland Summit is -29.9°C, which they say is as warm as it was there in the 1930s-1940s. And they add that “there was another similarly warm period (-29.7°C) in the 1140s (Medieval Warm Period), indicating that the present decade is not outside the envelope of variability of the last 1000 years.” Even more telling, prior to the last millennium they report “there were 72 decades warmer than the present one, in which mean temperatures were 1.0 to 1.5°C warmer.” In fact, they found that “during two intervals (~1300 BP and ~3360 BP) centennial average temperatures were nearly 1.0°C warmer (-28.9°C) than the present decade.”

The article concludes that “Clearly, there is nothing unusual, unnatural or unprecedented about Greenland’s recent relative warmth, as it is clear that much warmer temperatures have been experienced there over many prior prolonged periods without any help from anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions. There is no valid reason to believe that mankind’s burning of coal, gas and oil has had, or is having, any measurable impact on the climate of that part of the world, or any other part of the planet.”

It doesn’t matter. Nothing good can come from huge human populations and burning massive amounts of tar.

        • TEST says:

… nothing good… other than lifting massive numbers of people out of energy poverty, people dying from using dung fires, people living in poverty. etc. We needn’t be married to oil and gas, but right now, the solar and wind are not economic. If you wish to ban oil and gas, and wish to double or triple your cost of living, by all means do so.

Oh yes. Your Prius actually creates more carbon, birth to death, than a regular car. Ever hear of rare earths? Guess what it takes to dig them up, process and ship them? Do you understand that, due to intermittency, wind power MUST have traditional backups running (unless you want your elevators, medical equipment, etc only running when the wind does), which actually take MORE energy to keep in standby mode.

And I always donate to charity, particularly people who are hurting, including low IQ people. I understand Aktion T4 (look it up) folks like you feel different, but that is, IMHO, an insult to the dignity of human nature. I assume next you will take the position of Dr. Peter Singer of Yale, who advocates being able to KILL babies up to 2 years old (yes, really) if they don’t meet certain criteria? His logic is just the same dance as yours, only a little faster music

You left off Steven Spielberg’s “Shindler’s List”.

The movie was portrayed as a real biographical peace.
At the movies end a line up of old people portray the “real survivors”.
It is disgusting to find out that this movie which portrays Germans as hedonistic sadists, with scenes of nudity, and horrific trauma created violence, is being shown to five year olds, and
Taught to them as true and real. It is a completely fictional falsehood.

The movie was based on a NOVEL, which won an award in Los Angeles for FICTION.

        How’s that for FAKE.

Actually, GoreBull warming is caused by hot air spewing from the lying mouths of gorebullists, thus creating an updraft under which the Polar Vortex flows, causing more glaciers to advance and thicker ice sheets. You have to understand the science.

There are lots of food companies having huge sales due to excess production and inventory. Now is the time to buy. As one article said, “It’s like a bomb went off in the Prepper Community”.

most people have NEVER REALLY been hungry and they only think they do!! the food you bought will taste like T-bone steak when you are hungry!! sure hope WE don’t have to try it, BUT I am betting we will need it! when i went thru some special training years ago, we got VERY hungry, and yes you will eat things you wouldn’t think you would!! LOL

I saw the sale price and my little heart with Pitty, Patt.

I told my wife I’m filling the cart and she smiled and said. “Did you bring and extra $200.00 bucks” and I and I told her YES. She said OK because I did. What a Gal.
What was funny there were several people that saw I had 4 of them and they said maybe I should get one to put away JUST IN CASE. I told everyone of them what are you waiting for. I’m not wait I’m Prepared. They just got a dumb look on their faces and walked away. Oh silly sheeple.

        • Jacknife says:

Sarge, Sam’s doesn’t have that stuff here, you have to order online and that price is 79.99 which isn’t bad but I order the ark 390 from Costco which costs a little more but it’s worth it. It’s got 390 servings at 2k calories a day. Mylar pouches and a 7 gallon bucket with a gamma lid. $115 The food is pretty good too

    • rellik says:

      Hey Sarge,
“Just letting you folks know that the food is pretty good. I would compare it with Wise Food. It will be the best food you ever ate if you are starving, but that is why I got so I won’t starve!”

I’ve been looking a long time for any decent freeze dried entree. From the several companies I’ve tried, I’ve found only one or two edible entree’s and even then you have to doctor them up. The stuff is only edible IF you are starving. I have the storage room and the means so I’ll stick to canned foods, dry goods(rice, oats, beans, and wheat berries), plus a garden, fruit trees, and various critters (cattle, pigs, and chickens) to survive.
Short term I’d stay with SOLAS survival bars you’d keep on a boat and in the liferaft. I’m partial to coconut flavored things.

      • Nailbanger says:

Spam, canned veggies, canned fruits, rice, beans, canned corned beef, canned tuna, canned sardines, a half decent garden, chickens, and all manner of edible weeds along with a doe or a pig once in a while and maybe some dove or quail

        • anon says:

Spam? Peppered, jalapeno, Hickory flavored, Bacon flavored, regular and turkey.

Corned beef hash, Roast beef hash, Sausage hash.
All types of chicken. Canned roast beef, Vienna sausage

All types of flavored sandiness. Octopus, smoked clams.

          • Nailbanger says:

Thats why i like canned stuff, most of its decent, plus lasts a long time and is pretty easy to eat, most of it right from the can, lots and lots of real nice gourmet foods too in cans, one thing i keep meaning to rder that icant get locally is canned butter and canned bacon,,,

          • Nailbanger says:

The smoked stuff and canned meats and stuff like sardines are an excellent source of fats that you need in your diet,,, most canned stuff can be repurposed and doctored up into some real delicacies with a little imagination, kinda makes it interesting and fun challenge to see what you can stirr up from common ingredients

      • Nailbanger says:

For short term or quick, keep a few dozen Mountain house packs around, couple buckets of the dehydrated soups from costco in their storage food bucket, and for a real on the runnpinch some MREs, they arent great but they will suffice if need be, its not a competition, but it is a get over it moment for sure if everything comes unglued, IMHO, its not if but when, the more time goes by the higher the odds and the more severe the fallout.

        • Genius says:

One thing I have noticed is many dinner packs are soup? That isn’t filling and has very little precious calories. If you want to survive with enough calories to get off the couch I would recommend adding some mainstay bars with your soup and veggies. GMO soy (tvp) isn’t the best thing for you either but like you said, it will taste like steak when yer starving. Check craigslist for people selling freeze dried food. Many good deals can be had on High end food there. I got 72 #10 cans of premium freeze dried entree’s for 400 bux stored in an air conditioned room and 6 years old.

“Here is the problem 95% will and still believe in the old media. ”

It may not be that high but it is the majority by a pretty good amount. They don’t trust the old news of proven lies like JFK Assassination, Vietnam, WMD in Iraq but they forget about that when the new crisis hits. The Main Stream Media has the bigger screen, louder voice and more repetition. They are initially trusted with the new breaking story but their “Credibility Time” is getting shorter and shorter. Once measured in years its more likely months now which is unfortunately long enough for TPTB to generally achieve their goals.

I see a big confrontation coming between the intelligence agencies and President Trump. The last President that had such an adversarial relationship threatened to cast the CIA into a thousand pieces. Its my believe that the CIA truly takes orders off of the globalists. Presidents are in their view just “temporary overseers” that may or may not have their orders carried out. Trump is up against a hydra / octopus with multiple heads and arms reaching throughout business, government(s) and finance.

    “to cause further conflict”

When this economic collapse happens there will be no reasoning with those who failed to heed the warnings.
Shall I say Democrats with a small minority of Independents? Looks that way to me. As per their past practices, do you think they will remain calm or go out and riot. Even go after those who voted for TRUMP, aka Republicans.

“The mainstream media is setting us up.”

Do you think so? After the major defeat of Clinton and the NWO policies. Those behind the scenes want REVENGE! They have the means to get it too.

Now for my favorite part of the paragraph.

    “when the insanity begins.”

There will be plenty of insanity to go round. There is a difference between US and THEM. That difference is that we have thought it out many times over. Where their main projection is to disrupt, maybe kill and to hell with the consequences. We on the other hand, have prepare for many events and thought beyond what they would never consider. That is, what condition will the country be in after the conflict. A financial collapse will bring Civil War. We are too polarized for a Revolution.

Although there are many of us that would seek conflict to settle scores, we have reframed from doing so.
On the other hand. Those who would begin this conflict have no idea what would be brought to bear against them.

    • Let them. You think we bought all this ammo so we can set around and count/polish it for entertainment?

They’ll also find that the people that run their stuff, for the most part, supported Trump. People that actually do stuff, yeah, they supported Trump because they’re tired of being crapped on. You think they’ll care about a bunch of crybabies “coming after them”? No.

A civil war? You think a few militant racist blacks and crybaby liberals are going to cause any of us a problem? No. They accuse us of being armchair commandos, you think the libs will be better? HAHAHAHA! Hilarious! They won’t fight us. They need their “safe spaces”.

Its why they’re freeloaders already.

        Welfare Rant:

The simple fact is is this: I’ve known only a few people down on their luck enough to actually *NEED* foodstamps. They just get foodstamps so they can buy that big screen TV and buy more booze or drugs. They use the money they don’t have to spend on food as disposable income, not for essentials like rent or gas money. I found out the other day that years ago, I qualified for foodstamps. I had 3 kids and a wife and was grossing 60k. Poverty line for my county at that point was 55K take home. I was only taking home about 45K. During that time I bought vehicles, paid off my 100K home and bought 32 acres of ground while I also filled my larder, stocked up on ammo and bought serveral expensive guns *AND* put money back *AND* bought quite a bit of silver. All while *NOT* taking the food stamps I was qualified for. Welfare in this country is a joke! …mostly. There are some who really do need it. Most, however, are just using it to give themselves more disposable income.

        • Kevin2 says:

I don’t know who you know because I do know mothers who’s children wouldn’t eat if assistance wasn’t available. You cannot de-industrialize the nation with such a subsequent loss of good employment to the degree that it has happened and honestly believe that food assistance is not vitally needed; its illogical.

          • Nailbanger says:

See, now if these people instead of just being handed a lifeline were set out in the cold, my belief is that they would have gotten pissed off like the rest of us deplorables long long ago and reversed that bullshit of sending jobs elsewhere, our government has done us no favors and by redily handing out assistance have quelled the souls who would have revolted, its time for a revolt, its way way past the time actually, should have happened when NAFTA was passed and whatever bullshit agreements these pricks made with china, personslly im sick of china and the garbage they pass off here in the states, and it is mostly just garbage.

            • Kevin2 says:

What they did to hide the effects of NAFTA was to falsely lower the interest rates thus creating a temporary housing boom. This adsorbed some of the excess labor as “the service economy”, also facilitated by low interest rates forestalled the unavoidable decline. Every trick was used to increase debt first increasing the velocity of money. They also increased M1 the money supply which was possible without too much inflation due to the lower cost of slave labor made imported goods. In the end the consumer was tapped out but not before TPTB completed their goal of deindustrialization.

TPTB play chess while the body politic for the most part isn’t even good at checkers. This was well planned, coordinated and worldwide.

I think its important to know and understand what they want you to believe. I often watch “the news” and say GTFOOH. Often their version of anything is laughably juvenile in substance that even for the ignorant doesn’t make sense. Those ignorant shake it off with, “Those people in Washington are stupid and don’t know what they’re doing”. The reality is that the masses don’t realize that the agenda stated is only the ostensible excuse that has little to nothing to do with the real goals and intent. If the masses ever catch on it isn’t going to be pretty as the very legitimacy of government will be questioned. Trump is raising those doubts daily.

  7. TEST says:

This Nazi canard by the non-Einsteins on campuses is truly and utterly funny. Since the left is too intellectually dishonest and lazy to actually look up the facts, I will provide it for them here:

Here are the some planks of the Nazis, adopted in Munich on February 24, 1920:
“We ask that the government undertake the obligation above all of providing citizens with adequate opportunity for employment and earning a living… We demand profit sharing in big business… the government must provide an all-around enlargement of our system of public education. . . We demand the education at government expense of gifted children of poor parents. . . . The government must undertake the improvement of public health… permanent recovery of our people can only proceed from within on the foundation of The Common Good Before the Individual Good”

Nazi stands for the Nazionale Sozialistische Deutsche Arbeiter Partei – the National SOCIALIST German Workers Party. Was it just a name, as some say? Then why did the Nazi’s introduce the “Reichsarbeitsdienst” – the National Labour Svc that had public work systems; why the “Kraft durch Freude,” where the STATE even took care of the leisure time of workers?

No the Nazis did not advocate public ownership of production, only that the govt oversee and run the economy, as they knew that legal ownership wasn’t what counted, but rather CONTROL. So, private citizens could hold title – as long as the state had the unqualified right to use their property. I.e., de facto socialism, the STATE still controls. Or, as Carl Limbacher wrote in NewsMax “Benito Mussolini’s Fascist economic policy, which he called the “mixed economy,” tried to combine Marxism with capitalism. What resulted was a dictatorship which allowed limited economic freedom to those favored industries willing to operate under government patronage.” The observant among you will note well the phrase “operate under government patronage.”
This is right out of the Obama/Pelosi playbook, and you can read more about the socialism of the Nazis with any Google search, though exposes a lot about the National Socialist Program which was big on Euthanasia, Eugenics and Social Darwinism, which are big hits with libs today, too

In fact, fascism,” writes Ludwig von Mises Institute founder Lew Rockwell, “is the system of government that cartelizes the private sector, centrally plans the economy to subsidize producers, exalts the police state as the source of order, denies fundamental rights and liberties to individuals and makes the executive state the unlimited master of society.” Any questions about what we have been doing in this country under Obama?

  8. It is not possible to convince people that they are wrong. The harder you try to prove your point, the deeper and more entrenched another becomes in defending his position and negating yours. But if someone discovers something about you, he will pry and question your reasons with interest. If you state your reasons matter-a-fact ly, he will give you a “humm” or “really” and shrug it off. But he still is taking notes, mentally.

When I tell people I don’t have television because it is all disgusting antisocial, sex, vulgar, propaganda, and the news is biased and I don’t like to waste my time when I could be doing some chores or having sex myself instead of watching a box, people generally agree. At some point in the future they may join the boycott. Or, at least be open to hearing about the “lying media” when Trump says it.

    • rellik says:

      B from CA,
“It is not possible to convince people that they are wrong” is correct.

But you can educate people and then they will figure it out, themselves. Ignorance can be fixed, however stupid is forever. When dealing with stupid, just walk away, and if you can’t get away, prepare to defend yourself against it.

  9. TEST says:

The fascist left media, now that they have been outed, are doing an in-your-face counterattack, hoping the gullible will fall for it. After Dan Rather’s finding that fake memo, Brian Williams being under fake fire, Hilary’s fake Sarajevo sniper attack, NY Slimes fiction writer Jayson Blair, the whole leftist media falling all over themselves for Nobel Prize winner Rigoberta Menchu’s lies, going all the way back to Pulitzer winner Walter “I don’t see no starving kulaks in Stalin’s Ukraine” Duranty (or his counterpart, Lincoln “I have seen the future in Stalin’s USSR, and it works” Steffens, the FACT is, the leftist media is corrupt. Why are the corrupt? Because they think, in their arrogance and leftist fascism, that they are smarter and have the moral high ground. Truth is, they are, as a whole, LESS intelligent, and utterly amoral (not necessarily immoral) in the sense that, as Dostoyevski wrote, “if there is no God… *everything* is permissible (and yes, Dostoyevski did, in fact, write this). Truth is, if there is no God, there is no ultimate basis for ethics other than mere preference. And yes, the leftist press truly has not thought that deeply, or perhaps slept through Logic 301 classes.

  10. TEST says:

Personal story about the lying, leftist media:

In the early 1990s, I attended a meeting of concerned parents, who did not want radical homosexuals in propagandizing their kids in the local school system. The parents **privately** rented a hall at a local university (Univ. of Ottawa, Ottawa, ON.) and had a speaker come in. Of course, the Gaystapo radical homosexual Brownshirts crashed the meeting- uninvited. Of the hour presentation (which I still have an audiotape of), I would estimate 1/3 of it (~20 min.) was interrupted by the gay fascists screaming, cursing, storming the stage and actually grabbing the mike out of the woman speaker’s hands, etc. ALL that came from the other side was, about half way through, after one of the gay Nazis had stormed the stage and grabbed the mike, one person yelled “Shut up and sit down” twice in a row. How long does that take to say that? Maybe 10 – 15 seconds? Versus 20 FREAKING MINUTES of screaming, cursing, threating and worse from the gay sturm troopers. I was there as an educator with my wife, listening and audiotaping the whole thing.

After the lecture was Q/A period. About a dozen gays took the mike (remember, they were NOT invited, and this was a PRIVATE function), with more screaming, cursing, etc. I was very worried that the parents or speaker were going to assaulted by the gays, but thankfully the police showed up towards the end. Perhaps two of the gay questioners at the very end spoke in a heated, but someone acceptable tone of voice during the Q.A period.

The following night, this was the LEAD story on CTV (one of Canada’s two national TV stations at the time). Here’s what they showed: A clip of the speaker talking. Then they took a clip from the **VERY END,** during the Q/A period, with the two somewhat reasonable gay questioners talking. Next, spliced in AFTER those two reasonable speakers the guy who yelled shut up and sit down – WHICH HAD OCCURRED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HOUR, AND ONLY AFTER SOMEONE HAD STORMED THE STAGE AND GRABBED THE MIKE OUT OF THE SPEAKER’S HANDS – making it look like this guy was yelling at two reasonable gays, when as a matter of fact, nothing like that actually occurred – in fact, it was the gays who were violent and threatening for 99% of the meeting.

So, here you have these poor, reasonable gays being oppressed by these nasty conservatives. Or so you thought, with the fascist leftist media. The whole thing was spiced by the media show the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of what had happened – violent, uninvited gays crashing private, and privately paid for meeting, and then threatening innocent people. I called CTV the next day, and politely told them I had an audiotape of the whole proceedings, and what they reported was inaccurate. They basically told me to shut up and hung up on me. Interest in the truth? Concerned about what ACTUALLY happened? Not a chance
This was a major step in my awakening to the lies and arrogance of the leftist media. I have since made it a mission to fight this leftist fascism (where fascism is defined by its founder Mussolini, as well as by Hitler’s National SOCIALIST German Workers’ Party, which adopted explicitly socialist planks at its first convention, Munich, Feb. 1920 – as the merger of the socialist state with co-opted, crony big biz. just GOOGLE it to confirm yourself) wherever it rears its vile, ugly head.

    Black stockings.

  13. Something that is happening on the Internet that is of concern. One way to hide the truth, is to add lies to the True Story, to the point that the original Truth is discarded with the other garbage.

An example of that is the outing of Michelle Obama as a man.

This story may or may not be true. Certainly their are reasons to suspect it is true. There are also reasons to plant the story, to make those who believe it out as race bigots.

Now there are stories that go beyond most people’s belief. The fact is that when reality comes from a computer or smart screen phone, it can be manipulated and the viewer fooled.

Hollywood is owned by J*ws. Many J*ws have hate for white Europeans and Christians. The Internet is controlled by J*ws. Knowing they hate you, don’t you owe it to yourself to remain free from Internet Lies. Hollywood is loaded with homosexuals. That is the case for hundreds of years in entertainment. But not every single one. Now there are transgendered in Hollywood, but not all.

There are stories that say everyone in Hollywood is transgender and also in Government.

I have some direct knowledge about this phenomenon. I also am aware that J*ws created Communism. Communism seeks to destroy family life so the State controls from birth to the grave.

There are drag queens, doubles, twins, and stand ins used by both entertainment/movies and Governments. Many girls and boys given movie star’s pictures make themselves over through plastic surgery. Some actors and actresses are replaced and the audience never realized this.

One could go nuts trying to separate fact from fantasy if one relies on Internet or a screen. Even books must be scrutinized. The written word is filled wth lies, too.

Spend time in the real world doing real things.

Have to admit we sure do stress ourselves out with all the news we absorb and then transmit to everybody. Not to mention how many times we rehash stories over and over with a little twist to add new substance.
No matter what we say, there is very little we can do about it. Trump will select his people. Obama doing his thing. The news media will lie and the Nation goes to work and comes home at night.
Two sides to preps. One side is for the natural disasters that can befall us. Fire, Tornado’s Earthquakes and hurricanes. For the most part we would want to help others and drive out the bad stuff that can happen.
The other is civil unrest and the escalated drive to protect ourselves, family and property from harm.
You can add governmental tyranny. Are we on the verge of that happening? Kind of stuck in the back of our heads. So we prep with more food and gear. Guns, ammo and body armor that may not have been on our lists before. The times change and we must do also.
I find that reading the articles here at SHTF has a tendency to spool me up and get angry. Gets to lots of us who read here. We want the info but how much more negative news can we stand and we don’t know if the negative news is even true. Living in a world of disinformation.

So how do we beat this bummer of a situation?

Prep for your area in which you live. Prep for the weather and natural disasters. Keep in mind the government is screwed up. The News Media is screwed up. There are lots of angry people out there and no telling what will set them to violence.
Prep the best you can and the rest will take care of itself. AKA you don’t have to worry neednessly.
