This Is Why They Are Militarizing: ‘The World Will Become Baltimore When People Realize They Cannot Acquire Basic Resources’

world-will-be-baltimore

No matter the negative economic news or weak corporate earnings, stock markets continue to reach news highs and mainstream media pundits tow the party line.

But how is this possible, given that tens of millions are out of the workforce, on food stamps and completely broke?

The answer, according to Gregory Mannarino, is quite simple. The world’s central banks and governments have been left with no other option. They are throwing absolutely everything they can at the problem in an effort to keep the system propped up for as long as possible.

But as Mannarino notes in his recent interview with Greg Hunter’s USA Watchdog, it’s nothing more than a setup that will leave most of the world’s population, especially the middle class in first-world countries, totally wiped out and impoverished.

The end result will be nothing short of widespread civil unrest, violence and bloodshed as people begin to realize they have nothing left and have no ability to acquire even the most basic of essential resources.

This is where we are now… something has to give… we continue to see more bad economic news being spewed even out of the mainstream but the stock market keeps going up… housing keeps going up.

This is a setup for a massive downside move with asset prices which have been distorted and continue to be by world central banks.

The Federal Reserve is trying desperately to remain credible to this market… to make it seem they are in control… they are absolutely not in control… the world central banks are so desperate now to keep the system propped up they have literally turned the financial system upside down… You have central banks that have gone negative [with interest rates]. This is not the way the system was designed to work.

Their alternative is that they have no alternative. If they stop doing this… if they were to start tightening monetary policy the entire system will come down… the whole thing is teetering on an edge… all we need is one event to push this over.

They are going to throw everything they can at it to keep it going… because the alternative is too horrible to contemplate.

The world will become Baltimore when the debt bubble bursts… Every street and every nation around the world is going to become Baltimore as people realize that they cannot acquire these basic assets and everyone is struggling for these resources.

They understand this… This goes back to why the police are militarizing every state in the Union… why we are one nation under surveillance.. they understand where this is going.

… We are clearly moving towards a two-tier society… the middle class, when this is over, will not exist.

When the trigger is finally pulled the majority of people will be left confused, panicked and angry. While we can’t predict the exact nature of the coming crises, we can look to history for direction. Currencies will likely crash, debt-based assets like home prices will collapse, and critical resources like food and energy will sky rocket in value to such an extent that they will become unattainable for most.

It is for this very reason that the US government and military have been simulating economic collapse scenarios, the fall out, and how to respond. And if recent riots in Ferguson and Baltimore are any guide, the situation will quickly devolve into looting and violence.

Tess Pennington, author of The Prepper’s Blueprint explains how such a scenario might play out in real-time:

Some of these citizens are prepared and ready for what may come and may feel the need to stay to defend what is rightfully theirs but the majority of the population will not be ready for what they are about to endure. Those that are in this unprepared majority who choose to ride out the disaster do so because they are either unaware of how to fully prepare for disasters, have become complacent or numb to the heeds of warning from the local government and news media, or are overly confident.

This is the point in this cycle where herds of people go to the grocery stores frantically grabbing supplies. Most grocery stores will not be able to meet the demand of the people’s need for supplies, and many could go home empty handed.

Bracing for the disaster, the prepared and unprepared will be hoping for the best outcome. What many do not realize is the hardest part of this event is soon to be upon them. Within days, the descent into the breakdown will begin.

Full Article: The Anatomy of a Breakdown

In response to the panic, the government will, as we’ve seen in Baltimore, initially react with curfews and a heavy police presence. When this is not enough, they’ll declare martial law and enforce it with the military.

Those who fail to prepare by stockpiling those critical resources like long-term food stores and other emergency supplies, will be left to fend for themselves on the streets of America.

Greg, they don’t have to start tightening monetary policy. The business cycle has run its course. The 6,000 retail locations that have been closed are the evidence of that.

Personally, I doubt that a 50 basis point rise in rates would do a thing. On a 25 basis point rise the stock market would “melt upwards”. It’s not your daddy’s stock market anymore.

BTW, where is “Your Daddy”? Anyone seen or heard from him? 🙂

The whole thing is terribly insidious. The more dependent the people are on the government the more they’re willing to overlook the government’s excesses.

Freedom, liberty, individual rights — people are willing to give it all up if it means they get to eat. Civility becomes a luxury. Discussion becomes a luxury.

There are already millions of dependent Democrats and millions more that immigrated here illegally that don’t care about about those things.

And public schools are busy acting as nightclubs where kids hookup with other kids to make even more government dependent children.

I saw on tv the other night a razor that had 1 year supply of blades all for 20 bux at walgreen’s. So I stopped there the other day and found it in the as seen on tv section. I tried it after not shaving for a while (I have a heavy beard) and I’ll be damned that thing works as well as a gillette mach3! It beats Harry’s razors hands down too! If you want to save some cash and have cheap preps too check it out. I threw the package away but it is at walgreens as seen on tv section and has a handle and 12 razors and made in germany. The mach3 is 3 blades and a hanle for 35 bux, Harry’s 2 blades and a handle 15 bux, this 12 blades that kick ass and a handle 20 bux!

I don’t recommend you take your time.

      • Richard says:

        Thanks for your reply, Daisy.

Does it really matter if things are worse than they look? Surely the best thing we can do is replenish our preps whilst the system is still ticking along. When the shops are closed due to having run out of stock – preppers (like us?) will be prepared already.

They are the ones that control the system and not people like us.

    • Srsly??? says:

Huh – amazingly the “sheep” say the same thing Richard!

      • Richard says:

But preppers prepare in advance so we’re not left with nothing and being left to the mercy of the system.

I’m not saying anything wont happen, I’m just saying it wont be imminently. A ‘collapse’ is certainly more than a year away.

  5. SmokinOkie says:

    ‘Every city will become Baltimore…’

Does that mean we’ll have a crime infested inner city, total corruption in politics, a dysfunctional citizenry with low education, no job skills, low intelligence, and a high propensity toward violence? Don’t we already have that everywhere? I think it’s called Detroit… and Chicago… and Philadelphia… and Atlanta… and…..

But at least the Ravens field an awesome football team, provided most of the players are out on bail…

    • DaisyD says:

Make up something, very sick relative who needs a surgery to be paid for by you to the bank when they start asking questions they should not be asking, or something like that. Get all of your cash now or at least some of it. Things are only going to get worse.

      • Paranoid says:

NO! Don’t lie, they can get you for that. They are going to report your BIG withdrawal to the gov no matter. If you don’t want that, then make small ones. Making small withdrawals to avoid the problem is also illegal, so watch your mouth. Nothing says they will change how much they give you, you have a right to your money. They have the right to demand you give them notice of major withdrawals on interest accounts. anyone that has so much money in the bank that they cannot get it all out in a few days has no business on this site. You are either to rich or to stupid for it.

  12. John Stiner says:

The following is an e-mail I received from my congressman today:

Gohmert Statement on Jade Helm Exercises

WASHINGTON, D.C. –Rep. Louie Gohmert (TX-01) released the following statement on the ‘Jade Helm 15’ exercises scheduled to take place in Texas and various other states:

“Over the past few weeks, my office has been inundated with calls referring to the Jade Helm 15 military exercise scheduled to take place between July 15 and September 15, 2015. This military practice has some concerned that the U.S. Army is preparing for modern-day martial law.

Certainly, I can understand these concerns. When leaders within the current administration believe that major threats to the country include those who support the Constitution, are military veterans, or even ‘cling to guns or religion,’ patriotic Americans have reason to be concerned. We have seen people working in this administration use their government positions to persecute people with conservative beliefs in God, country, and notions such as honor and self-reliance. Because of the contempt and antipathy for the true patriots or even Christian saints persecuted for their Christian beliefs, it is no surprise that those who have experienced or noticed such persecution are legitimately suspicious.

Having served in the U.S. Army, I can understand why military officials have a goal to see if groups of Special Forces can move around a civilian population without being noticed and can handle various threat scenarios. In military science classes or in my years on active duty, I have participated in or observed military exercises; however, we never named an existing city or state as ‘hostile.’ We would use fictitious names before we would do such a thing.

Once I observed the map depicting ‘hostile,’ ‘permissive,’ and ‘uncertain’ states and locations, I was rather appalled that the hostile areas amazingly have a Republican majority, ‘cling to their guns and religion,’ and believe in the sanctity of the United States Constitution. When the federal government begins, even in practice, games or exercises, to consider any U.S. city or state in ‘hostile’ control and trying to retake it, the message becomes extremely calloused and suspicious.

Such labeling tends to make people who have grown leery of federal government overreach become suspicious of whether their big brother government anticipates certain states may start another civil war or be overtaken by foreign radical Islamist elements which have been reported to be just across our border. Such labeling by a government that is normally not allowed to use military force against its own citizens is an affront to the residents of that particular state considered as ‘hostile,’ as if the government is trying to provoke a fight with them.

The map of the exercise needs to change, the names on the map need to change, and the tone of the exercise needs to be completely revamped so the federal government is not intentionally practicing war against its own states.”

Congressman Gohmert is the Vice Chair of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security and the Chairman of the Natural Resources Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. Prior to being elected to serve in Congress, Louie was elected to three terms as District Judge in Smith County, Texas. He was appointed by Texas Governor Rick Perry to complete a term as Chief Justice of the 12th Court of Appeals.

    • Just my opinion but changing overlays on maps and states names are just ways that the pentagon will pacify the outraged public. At this point they need to scrap the plan. If what they wanted to do was move undetected, it will no longer work with so many in the public uncomfortable with the entire operation.
I don’t think that this was the primary focus of it anyway.
But at least this guy is addressing something of the issue.

Discover the Many Uses of Epsom Salt
“Epsom salt is a pure mineral compound composed of magnesium and sulfate which has long been known as a natural remedy for many health conditions.”

“The magnesium content in Epsom salt is particularly valuable. Magnesium helps to regulate the activity of more than 325 enzymes and is essential in orchestrating a number of bodily functions.”

“Most Americans are deficient in this important mineral. Therefore, it is no wonder that the incidence of serious diseases such as heart disease, stroke, osteoporosis, arthritis, stress-related illnesses, and chronic fatigue are so prevalent.”

Magnesium deficiency can be deadly; know the signs

Ringing in the ears? This is one of the signs that indicate a deficiency of magnesium.

“Magnesium deficiency is one of the major contributors to cardiac arrhythmia, angina, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and sudden death from heart attack.”

“Magnesium is required by all the body’s major organs in order for them to function properly. It regulates the body’s enzyme reactions, transports essential ions across cell membranes and helps the body in producing adenosine triphosphate (ATP), a coenzyme necessary for cell metabolism.”

    • Richard Head says:

To me the whole idea of spirituality has always seemed like people who believe in God, but just don’t want to follow or recognize any of his rules. You say spiritual others say sinner. Tomato Tomater, same difference. Not judging you, I am a Sinner with a capital S.

When the EBT’S; Snap; and WIC STOP working for the animals in the Inner Cities across the United States; THATS when TSHTF. in my opinion. You WILL have them come out of the cities; when they figure out theres NO Help; and NO supplies coming; and they WILL head for the Suburbs of each major city in America; and introduce Suburbanites to; ” Diversity’ It ISN’T going to be pretty.

I believe disrespecting the religion and choosing to not be governed by the laws of that religion are two different things. At what point will those two lines cross? if we don’t take a stand now, it will be very soon I fear. Like I said the drawings I saw were not disrespectful, other than they were breaking a law of islam, and thankfully I’m not Islamic. I understand your position, but hey, agree to disagree 😉

Hopefully we are prepped well enough to be able to last until the crisis passes.

Them Hogs, we have used that mixture an it works very well.

    • sixpack says:

A spray bottle might be taxing on the carpal tunnel, so will this mix work in one of those pump canisters like the exterminator uses?

What are those sprayers called? I’d like to buy one for my preps.

  25. BlueLightMemory says:

This is why after we’ve done everything that is in our ability to prepare for the collapse, we must still rely on Jesus who is able to guide us and give us direction and wisdom as the collapse events unfold.

God’s thoughts are not our thoughts. What we think is best to do at a given time might not be what God sees best to do at that time. Be flexible and obedient when seeking God for direction because he might all of a sudden say to go, when everything in us is saying to stay.

On a side note, it’s very possible that the rollout of Jade Helm is also because of an anticipated economic collapse. Also, I think the military and government allowed the information about Jade Helm to come out months in advance because they expected and hope that many of us will protest, then grow weary, and finally go back to sleep by the time July’s Jade Helm rollout starts. Stay vigilant.

  26. Quantum Bubbler says:

Mac sure presents information in good form!

Whenever there’s less than a hundred comments it’s easy to read them all.

Too bad nobody like my shit but it saves me time to not feel like I have to think of something to say that anyone would like.

  27. ZombieDawg says:

“While we can’t predict the exact nature of the coming crises, we can look to history for direction”
    Contradicting yourself there !
You CAN predict with almost total accuracy what is coming and when ! If human nature doesn’t change then human behaviour doesn’t change and history repeats – AGAIN and again. This is precisely what we have now.
This is Martin Armstrong’s forte – a total knowledge of human history, money, socio-economics, environment, cycles, human nature and he does it with unbelievable accuracy.
Other ‘experts’ assess the basics – they get future events right but timelines totally wrong in most cases.
They all say “it’s coming” but then what isn’t ?

Global socio-economic meltdown and riots ? Absolutely.
But here’s a question: ALL governments KNOW meltdown is imminent (eg David Cameron’s post Australia G20 summit comment on red lights for the whole global economy)so why not just retreat to their trillion dollar underground hideouts and let the mindless Walmart and smartphone zombie masses fight it out then emerge when everyone’s wiped out ?
Why buy billions of rounds of ammo ? Gunna shoot everyone in the country 3 times each ? Quicker than letting ’em fight it out or die of starvation/disease I suppose.
    ie the data doesn’t jive.
Fortunately I’m in one of the safest (in every respect) places on the planet (small island) and I’m well stocked for the next 10 years. Best bet is for everyone else to get the f out of town in the next few months if you still can, ‘cos October is IT – it all melts down fast after that.

    • Frank Thoughts says:

Agree: it will be in the autumn that the next crisis wave will occur. But I think this will auger in the next crisis response, which Gregg mentions: more QE, negative interest rates etc. One last push to keep it going. The scale of that push will buy the system two years or so.

I mentioned this in 2008 and I still stand by it. In a crisis of this magnitude, you need to make sure you only work with those who are intelligent and civilized in their behavior. So, you absolutely do not move to Baltimore; you do move to Norway. You do not move to Detroit; you do move to Switzerland. You stay away from places where the population has a low IQ and a scummy culture: think of the whole gangsta culture thing. Everything about that culture is for losers and in a crisis will just lead to wide-scale chaos and violence. Be very careful who you work with and where you live. Ring fence and firewall your assets and your wealth.

An old friend of mine is as ‘progressive’ and ‘left’ as they come. Even he makes his judgements based on the number of black faces in an area. Past a certain percentage and he will not invest there or live there, simply because he knows it will have very high crime and the place will go to hell very quickly. He prefers places with a university or two and where you see a lot of middle class female students. The better dressed and better looking they are, the more money and stability there will be in that area. Use your eyes and your ‘spidey senses’: don’t listen to what the media says.

  28. A Man Named Anon says:

The California Drought will ultimately be the genuine test case of widescale inability to acquire supplies. If the drought persists, and based upon basic acquisition of 1 gallon of water a day per person being essential to life, then we might expect to see genuine anarchy based upon what is arguably one of the most plentiful substances on the Earth.

    Wait and see.

People die after three days without water. You can’t grow your own food without water. When the water levels drop so precipitously as is happening in California, then you can’t even put in a shallow well to access that water.

All of the rioting we’ve seen as yet has been the result of instigators and even police provocateurs winding up the masses. But when people can’t get simple water to hydrate themselves, well…you’ll see true chaos.

Get out of that region while you can. It makes no sense to be there right now. It’s basic common sense.

  29. Really??? says:

No – this is why WE, the PEOPLE, are militarizing OURSELVES. AR’s, 45’s, 9’s, TON’s of ammo, knives, body armor, hidey holes.

What you haven’t stocked .223? Oh well.

What a perfect scenario, let the people cull themselves while fighting for the last scraps, it all gets blamed on the faceless banks…Perfection in an evil way.

  32. Isn’t Jade Helm, Matt Helm’s younger brother?

  33. Joe in JT says:

All you need to know is… 6000 retail stores closing in America. Target closing nearly all stores in Canada. The US trade deficit was $50 billion negative… “in ONE month”!! The only people with good jobs work for government or state…. or some dude who works on his own fixing cars or working construction. All other jobs are joke jobs….Walmart, DelTaco, McDonalds $8 bucks an hour.

    • sixpack says:

“The only people with good jobs work for government or state…or some dude who works on his own fixing cars or working construction. All other jobs are joke jobs”

It won’t be long before they put a stop to under-the-table jobs too, or at least tax the hell out of them, until there’s no profit in doing it anymore.

      The Endgame has arrived.

    • Enemy of the State says:

6,000 stores.. say it takes about 20 people per store as employees .. thats 120,000 jobs.. not to mention the connecting jobs to those out let stores.. this could over all affect half a million jobs

  34. Klemens says:

    get your bug-out-car ready!

  35. Agent Smith says:

People on the dole cost less to keep than people working for the government.

    Stop the none jobs

  36. RU Ready says:

If (when) we see Baltimore-like riots you can bet on Martial Law with curfews and home/car searches without warrants. If grocery stores cannot obtain food to distribute then FEMA and Red Cross will set up distribution points. If those are no longer viable, then the national guard or army will be rounding non-essential people up and packing them off to FEMA camps.

  37. Mountain says:

I’m seeing the slight beginnings of frustration among the younger set. The inability to afford game systems, iphones and ipads is sinking in. Those who have them, are selling them off for groceries and gas money.

There is a sense of desperation you can see on facebook groups for yard sales or traders groups. Women, selling their used shoes for $25.00, or old clothes for as much as they can get. Sometimes I see people frantically post “Please buy this ipad for $400.00, need to buy diapers and medicine”. When the ipad is the 2nd generation and old, they still try to get as much as they can.

The fact that shop lifting is on the rise here, tells me that it’s about to pop. Farmers/ranchers have had people try to steal from them more and more. DUI is on the rise.. hopeless people drinking more and driving… domestic violence climbing as well.

The tourist season in my area is way down compared to other years. Businesses that rely on this are going to get hurt. As i said in another post we lost 7 businesses in the past year, some chains and mom and pops. No one has the money to spend. Only part time jobs,15 hrs or less per week or on call jobs are available.

There are so many complex layers to this, and they are unraveling one by one.
