“The System is Broken”: Americans No Longer Believe In Its Institutions

It’s not difficult to see that the foundation is crumbling…

A new Gallup poll has found that already low “confidence” in our system of government, our economy, the media, banking, big business, religious institutions and watchdogs is further eroding.

“Americans’ confidence in most major U.S. institutions remains below the historical average for each one,” a Gallup spokesman said in a news release.

[…]

All in all, it’s a picture of a nation discouraged about its present and worried about its future, and highly doubtful that its institutions can pull America out of its trough.

There is plenty of good reason, with evidence uncovered daily, weekly and consistently throughout the years of the hypocrisy and failures of government, the failed promises of politicians, the lies and spin of the mainstream media and newspapers, the greed and exploitation of the financial sector and the “just us” mentality of above-the-law enforcers who are supposed to uphold justice.

Just check out how little faith remains in the structure of, well, just about any institution in America, by the numbers:

Only 8 percent have confidence in Congress, down by 16 points from a long-term average of 24 percent – the lowest of all institutions rated.

33 percent have confidence in the presidency, a drop from a historical average of 43 percent.

32 percent have confidence in the Supreme Court, down from 44.

28 percent have confidence in banks, down from 40 percent.

21 percent have confidence in big business, down from 24 percent.

24 percent have confidence in organized labor, down from 26.

24 percent have confidence in newspapers, down from 32 percent.

21 percent have confidence in television news, down from 30 percent.

52 percent of Americans […] are confident in the police [57 percent historically]

What else can be said, but that the system is broken?

Obviously it bears little resemblance to the one envisioned by the founding fathers and their emphasis on separation of powers and limited government.

None of the three branches of government are trusted by even close to a majority of the American populace… maybe that’s to be expected, with frequent media criticisms of political figures in a polarizing two party system.

But other pillars of society have lost their backing of the public, too – in astonishing numbers that show not only that the American dream is dead, but that private institutions are widely perceived as being just as corrupt as public ones (or worse).

To top it off – this perception is entirely deserved. The aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis consolidated the power and wealth of the big banks, and gave the Federal Reserve ultimate power over the economy, while average Americans suffered greatly.

Scandal after scandal revealed that corruption for what it is.

Media scandals – such as Brian Williams’ fabricated war zone stories and George Stephanopoulos’ attempt to conceal his conflicts of interest with the Clinton Foundation – have left a bad taste in the mouth of media consumers already facing fake news indigestion.

The factors are piling up beyond our capacity to excuse them away: fatigue from endless wars and threats of terrorism; cynically-false promises of hope and change; the repeated, brazen trampling of civil rights; a sharp decline of opportunity at the hands of economic recession; trade deals written in secret to enrich corporations; the rise of job-crushing technology and more have all sapped at the American spirit.

Whether most Americans follow these developments or not, they instinctually sense them. No one trustworthy is steering this ship – worse, no one may be at the wheel at all.

Who or what can turn things around?

That remains to be seen, but few will be willing to buy into the system if it remains on course.

The loss of confidence in the system ultimately relates to the loss of confidence in the freedom of the individual.

It is strong-willed and determined people who have always made this country, and any other, strong and vibrant.

The constant detriment of individual rights and the endless calls to transfer power to the collective – whether inside or outside of government – is the real source of the problem that this Gallup poll reflects.

Our best hope at a better world should start there. Is it still possible?

It is sad to me that the numbers are as high as they are. People have not been educated by design. They can still self educate though. It is sad but I just don’t think they care. It is all about me me me.
We can restore this country to greatness. We must love each other and be willing to help each other. Is that still possible today?

    • Vicky says:

I don’t it’s possible as things are now. I don’t trust any of these agencies either, and why would I? Everything is such a huge damn secret anymore. Transparency, my ass!

      • Rodster says:

Just imagine what those numbers look like throughout the world? I’d bet it’s just as bad bad or worse everywhere. It’s a reflection of global industrial civilization in decline. You can’t have infinite growth in a finite world. It never works but the central planners think otherwise.

I’ve been wondering; since they’ve started letting hillary fall in the media for her past deeds, and it seems the people are not going to vote for her anyway—who’s the gray man? Who’s the wolf in sheep’s clothing that the elitists have chosen to replace obama, if not hillary?

The only other alternative that I can see, is that they plan on installing hillary no matter what we say or do, which would be another big slap in our faces by the elites.

The message? WE DO WHAT WE WANT, AND YOU HAVE NO SAY IN ANY OF IT.

              • It will be Elizabeth Warren. She will save the day even tho she does not want to (so humble)
The church dropped to number 4 with the police just ahead of it on the list. Spiritual abuse is alive and well in churches. Nones and Dones. God is not pleased with the lack of power in His people and lack of unity and trust in Him and thus the problem. It is with the powerless church. He is coming soon to care for His sheeple!!!!

It’s called a “living agreement,” which means the globalists can amend and change the text of the so-called agreement after it has gone into effect.”

I think you are correct in your assessment of the world situation.

It is bad, and getting worse by the week. However; there are communities and towns that haven’t been regulated and lawed to death. Communities that still live by old methods of farming and preserving. communities that live with some of the modern conveniences, but aren’t totally dependent upon them.

Most of main stream North America, is totally dependent upon a system that is sucking the life out of them.
But, it is the fault of the people that want their modern societies to be “cutting edge”. Cutting edge technology has to come with a mindset and sadly, that mindset wreaks of liberalism. Liberalism wreaks of self-fulfillment. Self-fulfillment wreaks of selfishness. Selfishness wreaks of pride. Pride wreaks of evil. Lucifer is the poster boy for Pride. Ultimately it is his future demise.

          In these last days….

          2Ti 3:2
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
          2Ti 3:3
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
          2Ti 3:4
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;…

There must be a turning point, now, or we have come to a point of no return, and the center of our commerce will fall, and soon.

          • 5having a form of reverence but denying its power. And turn away from these!
6For among them are those who creep into households and captivate silly women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts,
7always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
            8And as Yoḥane and Mamrĕ opposed Mosheh, so do these also oppose the truth – men of corrupt minds, found worthless concerning the belief;
9but they shall not go on further, for their folly shall be obvious to all, as also that of those men became.
10But you did closely follow my teaching, the way of life, the purpose, the belief, the patience, the love, the endurance,
11the persecutions, the sufferings, which came to me at Antioch, at Ikonion, and at Lustra – what persecutions I bore. Yet out of them all the Master delivered me.
12And indeed, all those wishing to live reverently in Messiah יהושע, shall be persecuted.
13But evil men and impostors shall go on to the worse, leading astray and being led astray.
14But you, stay in what you have learned and trusted, having known from whom you have learned,
15and that from a babe you have known the Set-apart Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for deliverance through belief in Messiah יהושע.
16All Scripture is breathed by Elohim and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for setting straight, for instruction in righteousness,
17that the man of Elohim might be fitted, equipped for every good work.

          • The system that is sucking the “life” out of them, first and foremost is the church.

    • Zero says:

Well, every time you turn around you either see a woman or a minority in charge of whatever organization that is fucking something up. I see one of the problems right there. White men are the most creative and intelligent and when they were exclusively running things America had no equal scientifically or militarily. Now look at this hellhole run by idiots. We ain’t worth a shit at nothing. I realize this has been done on purpose from the top down, but damn.

The communists and faggots, disguised as socialists, progressives, and liberals, have been successful in removing God from Western Civilization institutions, and society in general.

When you take God out of the schools, the kids bring guns to school.

When the churches are perverted, corrupt to the core and morally bankrupt without any moral authority you develop a society of cronyism: with special groups of people receiving favors and privileges to the exclusion of the majority.

The Republic is ours if we can keep it. Engage, by ballot if possible, by bullet if necessary, but engage.

              • durangokidd says:

Not mine, but I had to pass it along:

“A Man died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him.

He asked, “What are all those clocks?

St. Peter answered, “Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone on Earth has a Lie-Clock. Every time you lie the hands on your clock will move.”

“Oh,” said the man, “whose clock is that?”

“That’s Mother Teresa’s. The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie.”

“Incredible,” said the man. “And whose clock is that one?”

St. Peter responded, “That’s Abraham Lincoln’s clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire Life.”

“Where’s Hillary Clinton’s clock?” asked the man.

“Hillary’s clock is in Jesus’ office. He’s using it as a ceiling fan.”

                Enjoy. 🙂

I attended a public high school in the mid 60s. Every h.s. in the area had a rifle team. Fifteen year old kids carried their cased .22s through the hallways to put in their lockers. Everyone paid as much attention as though the kid were eating a Big Mac. I remember reading Proverbs and John the Beloved Disciple in English class. Fights tended to be with fists. The biggest international problem was whether that Nasser guy was going to close the Suez Canal.

Cronyism isn’t an invention of the last 20 years. Known as anti-trust, it’s had
regulators’ attention since early in the 20 th century. Cartels and (forget the Japanese word, but they have it too) don’t depend on religion. (Unless you’re one of those people who believe the Joos are responsible for everything) It’s economic. They can pray an hour on Sunday while skinning the rest of us alive the rest of the time.

I have to agree with you Zero. Very few minorities are capable of running countries or corporations.

Notice, I did say few. Evil is colorblind and has no sexual preference.

When a nation allows the likes of billery, bush, boma, and pelosi, etc.etc, to be in positions of authority, you get a nation falling towards the abyss.

Evil begats evil and destruction. When souls have been sold and overtaken by demonic forces, then the forces all are working towards one thing…..chaos and destruction.

Why? Because chaos brings out the worst in the moderately spiritual souls, and then they fall into the trap of demonic forces as well. Satan is after one thing and one thing only…more souls. His power is working in full strength to “test” the hearts of men upon the earth. God is allowing men to reap what they have sown.

Unless we see a revival of the majority of the nation of USSAG, we will be in mega chaos by this time next year. We haven’t begun to see evil, like will prevail throughout these last days, until the Gog/Magog event whereby God sets His authority in plain site for all humanity to witness. That is when the shift begins. That is when the final division begins. That is when the “final revival for survival”, begins, and the dominoes will exponentially fall.

The general idea of this post is loss of trust in Institutions and (Big aka Collective aka the Dem Libs and RINO Enablers) Government.

The difficulty (at least for me) is not to behave like Ferguson or Baltimore rioters and protestors.

      They’re fighting against the System.

We’re fighting against the System. (We = Preppers)

What makes us preppers better than a Ferguson/Baltimore protestor?

I would say that our justification is better. It’s valid. And true.

Of course, they’d say that their justification is better, and valid, and true.

Oh well. Sometimes you can persuade. Sometimes you can’t.

      • Mike in VA says:

Our justification is far better. If the protesters in Ferguson and Baltimore burned down there communities and stole everything they could. Are they really protesting for justice? They hurt innocent people and acted like animals.
There is no justification for what they did!

        • FreeSlave says:

          I totally agree Mike.

Our (prepper Constitutionalist) protests against collective totalitarianism (aka Lib Fascism) has far more justification and reason than the Baltimore/Ferguson protests about White Establishment/Law Enforcement Racism.

I think you have it wrong about the “uneducated” not caring about our institutions… it’s the opposite, it is the educated, informed people who have no confidence in our institutions.

An no, this county cannot be restored to greatness–not with flag waving, nor prayer, nor though building up our military further… it can only be restored if it is broken apart into smaller more manageable nations–that can actually produce a usable product made by people who are not members of a communist trade workers union.

With our debt and lack of will to correct we’ll probably collapse from within.

    • anonymous4 says:

It’s not simply a matter of not having faith in them.

A lack of faith in some institution, can simply be a reflection of mere incompetence in those heading that institution.

No….what we have here is that people are beginning to despise the very institutions themselves. And this is because we are not dealing with mere incompetence on the part of those heading those institutions. It’s because these institutions of morphed into institutionalized tyranny or agents of tyranny.

We are approaching July 4, 1776 once again. Read the first few paragraphs of the Declaration of Independence and notice the parallels with today.

    • The Old Coach says:

You must be too young to remember when banking was an honest profession, and bankers were honorable men. I am not. My father-in-law was one of those men, and I still hold reverence for his memory.

Organized labor, yeah. They never were anything but looters and criminals, combined with political hatemongers. My grandfather lived through the police strike in Boston in the ‘teens. It was largely the Irish immigrants taking their hate for England out on the good citizens of Boston, who had nothing to do with their grievances.

      • Kevin2 says:

Henry Fords goons almost beat Walter Reuther to death in 1937.

Organized labor seen to it that the working people got a piece of the economic pie. Companies unhappy with this arrangement fled to the 3rd world to employ labor at a wage that they themselves could not afford to purchase the goods they were making. The largely non union textile industry fled the US because $12-$15 per hour was entirely too high a wage to pay when 50 cent labor was available in Asia.

Organized Labor helped to create the great US middle class.

As I stated the US Textile Industry was largely non union and regardless the hourly wage is in the $12 – $15 / hour range. Those jobs fled to Asia as 25 cent – 50 cent / hour labor can be had.

Unions helped to facilitate the American Dream. Those Union workers had the money to send their kids to college. They had the money to buy new cars and homes. Hell the best of days of the US just so coincidently coincided with the highest rates of Union membership. Interestingly the highest income tax rate in the 1950s was 90%.

            Facts.

        • The Old Coach says:

Union propaganda, written in Moscow, spread throughout the USA since WW1. I am sick to death of hearing it. The American middle class existed long before the union movement.

As far as the textile industry goes, it was either move to lower labor cost areas or go out of business when foreign companies flooded the market with goods made in those same low labor cost areas.

          • sharonsj says:

Old Coach–the unions got you a five-day 40-hour work week. The unions got rid of child labor. The unions got you sick pay and vacation days. But if you want to go back to the good old days, you’d be working seven days a week 12 hours a day with no benefits and your six-yr-old grandkid working next to you.

            • Nathan Klein says:

“the unions got you a five-day 40-hour work week.”

              1) No, Henry Ford did.

              2) What kind of fool works 40 hours a week?

              3) Intelligent people create their own jobs, and set their own hours. Slaves look for a good “massa” to serve.

“But if you want to go back to the good old days, you’d be working seven days a week 12 hours a day with no benefits and your six-yr-old grandkid working next to you.”

Maybe instead I want to go back to the good ole days of sitting in ease and comfort and watching the crops grow, with no alarm clocks to wake me or appointments to keep. Or maybe I already did this, and am living the life of my dreams while you and your ilk are convinced there is no other option but the miserable life YOU’VE chosen for yourself.

          • Kevin2 says:

            GTFOOH

40 hour work week, paid vacations, sick pay, workmen’s compensation, a pension; all the product of both collective bargaining and the voting power of labor.

Mr Frick in the Steel industry literally worked men to death in dangerous conditions and if injured you were fired and replaced with some starving individual willing to die at his job. You were paid in company script good only at the company store too. Then came the Steel workers Union. Treating labor fairly is unacceptable so, “We’re living here in Allentown” they were the first to go. After the formation of the UMW under John L Louis mine fatalities dropped significantly and that company store, company script ended too. Propaganda? Nope just facts.

Your right on the Textile Industry It didn’t have one damn thing to do with Union Labor and everything to do with corporate greed. Its a race to the bottom as you compete now with virtual slave labor. “How do you compete with 50 cents an hour labor” ; “Make 49 cents / hr”.

            • MXLord327 says:

I’ll agree with you, but only up to a point. The unions WERE necessary, 100 years or so ago. They served their purpose, but were ultimately corrupted. They now ONLY exist as a money laundering scheme to send tax-payer money to the democrat party. Very little of what they do actually benefits their members anymore. They are corrupt, criminal organizations, nothing more. Anyone who believes otherwise is lying to themselves.

            • Archivist says:

After Hurricane Sandy, unions stopped free help at the NJ state line. NC sent disaster relief teams there with food, workers, supplies, laundry trucks, shower trucks, etc., but the unions turned them back. Anyone who would do that to the citizens of their own state is worthless.

I thank God that I have lived most of my life without the current breakdown to worry about. It was tough sometimes, but I managed to keep going, and in the end have a small pension from a very good company that has enabled me to live out what remains of my time on my BOL “farm”, far from the perils of city or suburban living. I pity those who are younger and cannot do what I have done.

To those who want to blame my generation for the present breakdowns, please note:

It was NOT my generation that took:
    The melody out of music,
    The pride out of appearance,
    The courtesy out of driving,
    The romance out of love,
    The commitment out of marriage,
    The responsibility out of parenthood,

    The learning out of education,
    The service out of patriotism,

The nativity scene out of cities,
    The civility out of behavior,

An excellent bit of goodness for us to remember. I am firmly in the camp that WE, CAN change for the better and restore integrity to some of the institutions. It WILL be an ugly process because of the selfish self-interests of those involved. They long ago subjugated THEIR integrity for selfish power and personal gain, and we the electorate let them get away with it, because we don’t “want to make any waves”. Screw that nonsense. If so, who are those people funded by?

      • Mike in VA says:

        Nathan

Every generation has allowed freedoms to be taken. It is not the millennial’s fault. It to be honest is sadly all of our faults.I can only hope that enough people wake up so that we will have the power to correct it.

I blame the people who were alive during 1913. I blame the people who were alive during the Social Security Act’s passage. I blame the people who thought the War on Poverty was a good thing. Idiots that gave away freedom for a carrot. While the Act of 1871 truly destroyed our Republic, I do find it harder to blame those people as news was harder to receive, and the nation had just been through a war. However, all of the other events were pretty big issues.

    • Mike in VA says:

You are right coach. It was no particular generation. Every generation since 1913 has let small things just slip away. No generation has made a stand because the people in power have been patient. They just slowly take freedom.

This country can never go back to the way “it was”. As stated in a previous post, there is too much greed, lies, and corruption that can’t be eliminated. We are slaves to taxes, regulations, ordinances, and decrees (phone and pen) that are TNTC (too numerous to count) Look at the tax code, it’s not fit to be used as toilet paper, but it’s used to intimidate and bully the citizens to “comply” to the govt. system of unfair taxes and penalties. It all trickles down from the fed to the local, but it’s the local tyrants that really take the cake with 6-7 figure salaries, benefits, pensions and all the other perks that we as “slaves” pay for. When it goes down, I hope to be around to see the property assessor and tax collector offices burn to the ground.

The attacks upon labor shocks me mathematically when trillions of dollars were diverted to bankers that not only created the problem but often committed felonies in the process and they get rewarded with bonuses with de-facto taxpayer dollars and are never criminally charged. Article by Michael Snyder at ETF News

something really big about to happen? For months, people have been pointing to the second half of this year for various reasons. For some, the major concern is Jade Helm and the unprecedented movement of military vehicles and equipment that we have been witnessing all over the nation. For others, the upcoming fourth blood moon and the end of the Shemitah cycle are extremely significant events. Yet others are most concerned about political developments in Washington D.C. and at the United Nations. To me, it does seem rather remarkable that we are seeing such a confluence of economic, political and spiritual events coming together during the second half of 2015. So is all of this leading up to something? Is our world about to change in a fundamental way? Only time will tell. The following are 7 key events that are going to happen by the end of September…

Late June/Early July – It is expected that this is when the U.S. Supreme Court will reveal their gay marriage decision. Most believe that the court will rule that gay marriage is a constitutional right in all 50 states. There are some that believe that this will be a major turning point for our nation.

July 15th to September 15th – A “realistic military training exercise” known as “Jade Helm” will be conducted by the U.S. Army. More than 1,000 members of the U.S. military will take part in this exercise. The list of states slated to be involved in these drills includes Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, California, Mississippi and Florida.

July 28th – On May 28th, Reuters reported that countries in the European Union were being given a two month deadline to enact “bail-in” legislation. Any nation that does not have “bail-in” legislation in place by that time will face legal action from the European Commission. So why is the European Union in such a rush to get this done? Are the top dogs in the EU anticipating that another great financial crisis is about to erupt?

September 13th – This is Elul 29 on the Biblical calendar – the last day of the Shemitah year. Many are concerned about this date because we have seen giant stock market crashes on the last day of the previous two Shemitah cycles.

On September 17th, 2001 (which was Elul 29 on the Biblical calendar), we witnessed the greatest one day stock market crash in U.S. history up until that time. The Dow plummeted 684 points, and it was a record that held for exactly seven years until the end of the next Shemitah cycle.

On September 29th, 2008 (which was also Elul 29 on the Biblical calendar), the Dow fell by an astounding 777 points, which still today remains the greatest one day stock market crash of all time.

Now we are approaching the end of another Shemitah year. So will the stock market crash on September 13th, 2015? Well, no, because that day is a Sunday. So I guarantee that the stock market will not crash on that particular day. But as Jonathan Cahn has pointed out in his book on the Shemitah, sometimes stock market crashes happen just before the end of the Shemitah year and sometimes they happen within just a few weeks after the end of the Shemitah. So we are not just looking at one particular date.

September 15th – The 70th session of the UN General Assembly begins on this date. It is being reported that France plans to introduce a resolution which would give formal UN Security Council recognition to a Palestinian state. Up until now, the United States has always been the one blocking such a resolution, but Barack Obama is indicating that things may be much different this time around.

September 25th to September 27th – The United Nations is going to launch a brand new sustainable development agenda for the entire planet. Some have called this “Agenda 21 on steroids”. But this new agenda is not just about the environment. It also includes provisions regarding economics, agriculture, education and gender equality. On September 25th, the Pope will travel to New York to give a major speech kicking off the UN conference where this new agenda will be unveiled.

September 28th – This is the date for the last of the four blood moons that fall on Biblical festival dates during 2014 and 2015. This blood moon falls on the very first day of the Feast of Tabernacles, it will be a “supermoon”, and it will actually be visible in the city of Jerusalem. There are many that dismiss the blood moon phenomenon, but we have seen similar patterns before. For example, a similar pattern of eclipses happened just before and just after the destruction of the Jewish temple by the Romans in 70 AD.

Perhaps none of this alarms you. But when you add everything above to the fact that the elite definitely appear to be feverishly preparing for something, a very alarming picture emerges.

For example, due to fears that a “natural disaster” could interrupt their operations in New York, the New York Fed has been working hard to build up a satellite office in Chicago.

What kind of “natural disaster” could possibly be so bad that it would cause the entire New York Fed to shut down?

And NORAD has decided to move back into the base deep inside Cheyenne Mountain after all these years. The threat of an electromagnetic pulse was the reason given for this decision.

By themselves, perhaps those moves would not be that big of a deal. But let’s add all of the weird movements of military vehicles and equipment that we have been witnessing lately to this discussion. I included this list from Intellihub in a previous article, but I believe that it bears repeating…

Have you ever wondered how billionaires continue to get RICHER, while the rest of the world is struggling?

On March 13th, Intellihub founder Shepard Ambellas detailed photos and documentation of nearly 40 U.S. Army soldiers, wielding training rifles and dressed in full combat gear, participating in an urban warfare style training drill just outside the Texarkana Regional Airport perimeter.
In the middle of April, a report out of Big Springs, Texas revealed that a train full of military equipment and over a dozen helicopters had arrived in the town ahead of Jade Helm 2015.
Photographs taken in Corona, California a few days later added to the Jade Helm speculation after they showed a MRAP full of what looked to be U.S. Marines driving down the 1-15 freeway. “In broad daylight with not a care in the world”
On April 24th a shocking report on Intellihub News detailed armed troops seen confronting angry protesters in a “professional news package”of riot control training released by the military
“A massive buildup, a lot of movement and its undeniable at this point,” read the headline on April 25th after a convoy was seen in Oroville, California that stretched as far as the eye could see.
Moving into May, photographs taken in Indiana showed a massive military convoy heading down the freeway. The photos, taken by a concerned citizen, show the convoy heading west on I-70 for reasons unknown.
Two days later, video footage, this time out of Texarkana, Arkansas, highlighted a convoy of Humvees driving down the highway as well as a trainload of military vehicles that was seen shortly after.
In mid May, Intellihub reporter Alex Thomas published a detailed report that confirmed that the military was indeed training to take on the American people, this time in the form of domestic house to house raids.
The next day a new report, also by Alex Thomas, proved that Marines were actually practicing for the internment of American citizens.
On May 18th, a train full of hundreds of military Humvees was spotted, further revealing the increased military buildup across the country leading into Jade Helm 2015. The train was heading towards Cleveland for unknown reasons although a possible connection to planned upcoming protests had been mentioned.
This past week a massive military war game simulation called Raider Focus was announced. The war game will include the largest military convoy seen on the roads of Colorado since World War II.
On may 23th, Intellihub News reported on pictures sent to ANP that show a 1/4 mile long military train convoy near the Colorado Wyoming border.
Finally, a report published this week detailed a stunning propaganda move by the military involving a New Jersey school and the worship of the military on the streets of America. “As parents, teachers, and students looked on with joy, Marines from the Special-Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force landed helicopters on the baseball diamond of a New Jersey school.”

  28. People just keep asking why? Why is the economy not recovering and why are people losing confidence?

Here is why: Corporations are really good at raising prices. They can always justify it. They always want it. They’ve become really good at keeping wages down. Automation. Fraud. Lies. You name it. If its crooked, corporations do it and get away with is. ..and in the process they keep wages low.

Funny the bit of karma that is coming back to bite them. They’ve forgotten that if they whittle the chain down too much, the chain breaks. This is what has happened. They’ve gone too cheap on the links and its all falling apart. This confidence poll is the indicator of it. So, its winding down. People that are confident don’t spend money. Why do you think there is the discussion of eliminating cash? People are hoarding it as best they can because they are uncertain how much and by who they’ll be sodomized in the future.

The system is ugly, evil and fraudulent. As it declines, I laugh. They expect us to believe but we did believe and we got it right up the ass. So, now, frankly, the confidence is failing along with the economy because we won’t bend over for the frauds.

I was born in 1959. As a child I could happily go anywhere in our town without worrying about anything BAD happening to me. People did not lock their doors at night.Nobody gave a damn about who had guns or didn’t. We said prayers in school to no ones detriment. Violent crime was rare. We respected teachers, police and our elected leaders as a rule, and usually with good reason. 80 percent of African American households had 2 parent households. Marriage was considered sacred and divorce frowned upon. There was a definite social stigma to out of wed lock births. Virtues such as honesty, trust, family and religious faith were the norm and viewed as things to be strived for by the majority of Americans. The American Dream while a sometimes nebulous concept.was seen as attainable through faith and hard work. Strength and self reliance were deemed vital to a successful life. I could go on and on but I will stop. Some will say these things did not exist or were an illusion but I know better, to me and millions of other Americans they were a living reality.
What happened, it is 2015 and all these things are a dim memory to most. They will never return. The Founding father who said it takes generations to secure freedom but only one to lose it, was a prophet. I grieve for Millenials who don’t even know what we have lost because they never had it. As to who is to blame, it seems a pointless argument, like drowning men arguing about who built the boat that sank depositing them into the see. Our sickness and yes it is a sickness, is moral and spiritual. It seems unlikely to be revived as the very institution that might rekindle it are the most decadent and under the fiercest attack. I can only strive to strengthen my own and perhaps my families as it is my duty to do so .God help us all, we are in dire straits

I would say the rot firmly embedded itself in the 1990s (under Clinton I do recall). I grew up in the 70s and even that seems like some paradise of hard work, community and moderate crime and social cohesion. Though it was, however, far more fractured and violent than the 1950s. Reagan tried a lot of good things to bring back good values. But it was the Clinton years when corruption flourished and when income levels and everything began the big slide that accelerated during the 2000s. Obama has been an economic disaster and, rather than healing social and racial divisions, has actually fed off them for short-term political gain.

When Hillary gets in the corruption will go to the nth degree and I think that will see the cascading collapse, as people break from the dollar, more wars erupt, and the US goes full retard on fascism.

Drudge Report just confirmed that a white man shot and killed 9 in a black church.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family’s. What an evil individual this one is.

Is this a flash point people? We as preppers have to wake up to more than knowing the government is worthless and will crash. We have to wake up to the fact that they are trying to divide and conquer. Some comments in this article earlier were about white and black.
I have seen comments on here about women, Jews, blacks, Hispanics, whites, Christians, cops, and soldiers.

The government wants us in groups and if we don’t wake up then I guess all that will be left is a white male atheist.

There are good and bad in all. Never completely categorize one whole group as evil.

    • Warchild Dammit! says:

Mike, the govt. has done a excellent job in dividing people, glad my world is much simpler in that regards at least.I do not care about your ethnicity/religion/sexuality/monied status ect.In Warchilds world you are either a douche or you are not, wonder if this is the excuse used to have “executive orders”,I.E. decrees issued from the obola crowd, wait for it.
This sucks about 9 people being killed who as far as I can tell did no wrong to this guy, would be very interested in toxicology report, wonder what meds he may have been on,seems a common factor here in situations like this,am not knocking all meds, but seems many designed to help folks cause actually more problems.

My prayers also go out to these folks.

IS THIS KID ANOTHER PERSON THAT WAS PROGRAMED BY THE PTB TO DO THIS? Or is he just sick? Or did he have something done to him or his family and he is taking revenge? Is this kid a Muslim in Jihad mode? It was a Christian Church.

Right now there is so many things we don’t know, and more than likely never know! Or could this be a set up false flag, remember Jade Helm. Good time to start a race war.

This is something I totally support. Have you met young people these days? Getting them in basic training would do them a world of good. A few months in a fire base on the front lines would also help them get centered and see life in the round. I loved my time in the military: best people I have ever encountered in the world of work and saw the best and worst of humanity: thus it was a great life lesson.

And now how does that ditty go? “Thirty days on bread and water, I got a date with the Colonel’s daughter… sound off!! 1,2,3,4…”

      • PO'd Patriot says:

Frank those young folks to speak of today would be the ones dragging you out of your house in the middle of the night to put one in your brain pan with their received brain washing. Think about it. My boy just turned 27. They gonna have to go through me to get to him. Knowing him like I do, he’ll go down with me.

      • I disagree about this being a good thing. Our pathetic gov can’t or won’t put a stop to the rape going on in the military. What a hellish thing for these young people to endure.

    • Anonymous says:

I see nothing wrong with mandatory universal military training and service.

It is the basis of the citizen soldier and maintains military loyalty to the people and country as a whole.

The alternative is a standing professional army, and professional armies are loyal to their leader alone (as the Romans discovered when Julius Caesar’s army loyally followed him across the Rubicon instead of following the law that forbid them from crossing it, effectively putting an end to Rome as a Republic).

As I always do I default to the US Constitution.

It is not a question of– if– anymore!! Let’s take the latest event of the black church killing. The media– MEDIA–keeps a lid on daily killings of white people. NEVER is the word BLACK used , if they even get a article. But now we have a white on black incident, and it is National news. Now the media rushes white the news everywhere. You need to read the anti white hating comments out there. They blaming ALL WHITE people. Slavery, white people with guns, jobs, school grades– – the only reason they haven’t used yet is climate change. But I am sure they will get around to that. Since I am writing this, and I am sure we will have some anti white hating liberals out there— quit using slavery as a excuse for everything in your life. And if you would study and read, Some of the biggest slave owners were BLACK!! did you understand that– BLACK. so find another horse to beat.

The House is preparing to vote again today on Obamatrade.

Jeff Sessions on Obamatrade’s ‘New Pacific Union’ Like the EU: Something America Has ‘Never Seen’ Before

“Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL has issued yet another clarion call to House Republicans urging them to abandon GOP leadership’s desperate ploys to bring Obamatrade back to life and instead vote against Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) and stop President Obama from getting even more power in his final years in office.

“The House is preparing to vote again tomorrow (6/18) on providing fast-track executive authority to the President. If adopted, it will be sent immediately to the Senate for final consideration,” Sessions said, before correcting misconceptions peddled far and wide by House Ways and Means Committee chairman Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI).

“It is essential that there be no misunderstanding: fast-track preapproves the formation of not only the unprecedentedly large Trans-Pacific Partnership, but an unlimited number of such agreements over the next six years,” Sessions said.

“Those pacts include three of the most ambitious ever contemplated. After TPP comes the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) between the United States and the European Union, followed by the Trade in Services Agreement (TiSA), seeking as one its goals labor mobility among more than 50 nations.

Together, these three international compacts encompass three-fourths of the world’s GDP. Including the nations whose membership is being courted for after enactment, the countries involved would encompass nearly 90 percent of global GDP.

Yet, through fast-track, Congress will have authorized the President to ink these deals before a page of them has been made public. Then, the Executive sends Congress ‘implementing’ legislation to change U.S. law—legislation which cannot be amended, cannot be filibustered, and will not be subjected to the Constitutional requirement for a two-thirds treaty vote.”

“Sessions then laid out how several members of Congress didn’t even know about what they were voting on when leadership forced them to vote—and how it’s not too late for Republicans to see the light and oppose the creation of a new global governance.”

  42. The meaning of this of pretty easy to see and I think we are seeing exactly the fruits of this developing now.

Once the government loses it’s ability to govern by consent, it must then govern by force. Such is the nature of the beast that is government.

Government, any government can only exist by the consent of the governed. Once that consent is removed, the government will eventually cease to exist.

That being said, before it ceases to exist, it will fight tooth and nail to continue it’s existence since that is it’s only real reason for existing, to grow and maintain itself.

The legislation that is being passed, the military activities, the propaganda, and much more that is happening right now is all directed at the results of this poll.

They know they are losing control and that their time is growing short, so their only response can and must be to increase their efforts to control us even more.

It is picture perfect history repeating itself. In short, it’s human nature.

We are entering a most dangerous time. We’re dealing with a wounded beast that will do ANYTHING to survive.

  43. aljamo says:

They won’t take no for an answer on enacting these trade deals and will keep pushing until it passes. A done deal! These elected so called representatives only represent the bribe payers. I ended it with I will prey for the families. I misspelled pray. I was immediately attacked. I meant no offense. The trouble is that no other submission to the site even tried to express condolences to the victims. They all went off to gun control and political issues.

“The loss of confidence in the system ultimately relates to the loss of confidence in the freedom of the individual.” Confidence in any “system” of “institutions” IS the lack of confidence in the freedom of the individual! Loss of confidence in “institutions” is the surge of confidence IN the individual! By bewailing “when, o when, will confidence be regained in ‘institutions'” shows the Republicanesque, conservative, right-wing intention that THEIR collectivist institutions be made strong (dominant). That smacks of Nazism and any other form of Fascism (Corporatism, according to Fascist guru Benito Mussolini). Nope, that’s not to cheer in any way for the Democrats and other liberals and their Communist agendas either. None of them are any good for individual liberty. Only those who would dismantle all those “institutions” is any good for everyone. It’s up to EVERYONE to dismantle, for him or herself–by not depending on or complying with institutions.

    • Nathan Klein says:

“Loss of confidence in “institutions” is the surge of confidence IN the individual!”

Not exactly–it’s simply a loss in confidence in everything, at first…soon followed by a surge of confidence in certain *people*. Leaders. Not everyone has the capacity to think for themselves, which is why they outsource their thinking to others. Drones such as the typical American are especially likely to do so.

This nation was created by rich people for rich people. The founding fathers knew what they were doing when they created a first national bank. He knew it was wrong but he was sipping on the vino living a good life and thats all that mattered.
The founders of this country had no problem collecting taxes. They didn’t want to pay them so they wrote some inspiring words down on a piece of paper and a few rabel rousers started the revolution.Do note, If it wasn’t for the French we would of never won. Too many people out there don’t REALLY know our history. The war of 1812 was the beginning of US trying to flex our weight on the world. It was a pointless war and we got our ass handed to us, rightfully so.
Francis Scott Key was a slave owner and took a hard stance against abolitionism and I would ask anyone here to tell me if there were any other great works that he wrote.
The Star Spangled Banner sounds like a drunken bar tune.
Andrew Jackson was a racist that defied congresses orders and using genocide destroyed the Native American tribes of the midwest and south. He is now on a twenty.
All Abraham Lincoln cared about was the Union. It had nothing to do with peoples lives. He used scorch and burn tactics in the south. The same methods used by feudal kings during the medieval times. He BLATANTLY violated the constitution when it came down to states rights.
The last chance we had to be great came with JFK and look what happened to him. If he lived and carried out his plan for a TRUE DEMOCRACY this country would be in the history books with the likes of Rome, Greece, Egypt and MLK would of been the first black president of this country.
