Most people have been aware of Edward Snowden’s case that made world headlines when he made public the actions taken by the U.S. government and the alphabet agencies to spy on the average American citizen.  The camp is divided, with many labeling Snowden as a traitor while others call him a hero for releasing the information.  The division sees those against him as “procedural” adherents who believe in keeping to the contract regardless of the harm the corporation is doing.  Those who are behind his efforts see that he compromised his entire life with great risk to himself to expose something that is unconstitutional and therefore illegal, regardless of how our government masques it under the “color of law.”

Since then we have had the Wikileaks avalanche of released information.  Julian Assange is wanted by the U.S. government for the same reason that Snowden is wanted: for exposing information damning to an authoritarian regime/empire.  Now we are seeing a continuance of those releases, as an independent contractor by the name of Montgomery has informed all parties involved of a trove of information that may prove larger than Snowden’s.

It runs deep: the intrusion has been fostered even longer than the last eight years under Obama.  Conservative Tribune released an article on this week entitled Supreme Court Set to Rule on Massive Cell Phone Privacy Case, and here is an excerpt of that article:

“On Monday [6/5/17], the Supreme Court announced it will be taking up a case on the issue of cell phone location data, Politico reported.  At stake is whether or not police and other law enforcement agencies will be required to obtain a warrant showing probable cause before they retrieve cell phone location data off a person’s phone from a phone company.

As you may see, this is no run-of-the-mill case: it will set the tempo that either restricts the federal government from complete invasion of privacy regarding everyone’s little personal tracking devices (intentionally mislabeled as “cell phones”), or allow them to run rampant…with even more “authority” than they do now.  The article proceeds to show just how far the government will be able to go, as with this:

In previous cases, the Supreme Court has largely ruled that warrants are required for police to use things like electronic tracking.  However, the 1986 Stored Communications Act ruling stated that the federal government doesn’t need a warrant to obtain customer records, only “reasonable grounds.”

A new Supreme Court ruling would clarify if this act also applies to tracking cell phone data — a possibility that didn’t even exist when the original act was passed.  The result of this ruling will have a profound impact on society, as the issues of safety and privacy are in constant tension.

Be advised: The Trump administration is in favor of police being able to use this data without a warrant.  Does this sound as if it’s “small potatoes?”  It is not.  Look as how inexorably the electronic surveillance web draws more tightly around us…where we shop, where we work, and when we commute…always a camera filming.  The camera is always “coordinating” with the cellular telephone, tracking your purchases and your movements.  Hey, twitter and e-mail away; however, it is neither unnoticed nor forgotten.  All of this is being recorded, to make a personal profile of you and the other 315 million of us.  A piece of Samsonite luggage for everyone to throw!

Dennis Montgomery is the former independent contractor who is bringing suit against the feds.  In an article entitled Did the FBI have evidence of a breach larger than Snowden? A lawsuit says yesthere may be even more damaging evidence against the government’s program of surveillance against citizens.  Here is an excerpt:

A former U.S. intelligence contractor tells Circa he walked away with more than 600 million classified documents on 47 hard drives from the National Security Agency and the CIA, a haul potentially larger than Edward Snowden’s now infamous breach.

And now he is suing former FBI Director James Comey and other government figures, alleging the bureau has covered up evidence he provided them showing widespread spying on Americans that violated civil liberties.

The suit, filed late Monday [6/5/17] night by Dennis Montgomery, was assigned to the same federal judge who has already ruled that some of the NSA’s collection of data on Americans violates the U.S. Constitution’s Fourth Amendment, setting up an intriguing legal proceeding in the nation’s capital this summer.

Montgomery says the evidence he gave to the FBI chronicle the warrantless collection of phone, financial and personal data and the unmasking of identities in spy data about millions of Americans.  “This domestic surveillance was all being done on computers supplied by the FBI,” Montgomery told Circa in an interview. “So these supercomputers, which are FBI computers, the CIA is using them to do domestic surveillance.

How does any government justify these actions?  By Denouncing and Denying (Step 1), Discrediting (Step 2), and (if all else fails), destroying (Step 3) the one(s) revealing the actions.  They have the kick.  The marked individual has a “finite” existence, but (as with the “Party” in Orwell’s “1984”) the pursuers have an endless supply of hunters…the first hunters retire, and new ones pick up the scent/case immediately with no hiatus.  The Party is immortal and omnipotent, where the individual is weak, ineffective, and mortal.

We are in the time of a hiatus, between Democratic (or Marxist, if you prefer) administrations.  All of the frogs are in the cold water at the moment, but the water is heating up slowly.  Breitbart’s death was no accident, and it most likely will not be the last.  Those exposed do not like those exposing them.  The government will not stop tightening its grasp.  There are no checks and balances on those who write the laws, exempt themselves from the law, and take away the rights of those governed.  That is not governance: it is rule, plain and simple, and it will become much worse in time.  History repeats itself, and the U.S. is not exempt from that rule or the rule of empires becoming more Draconian before they collapse or disintegrate.

I don’t think any of these rulings really mean much….why??
If they want to get you, they will…there are ways digitally, electronically. Hackers are everywhere–think they don’t work for the govt?
They can doctor internet email, smart phone pics, traffic camera pics, so much more!!!
Makes you want an escort/friend with you 24/7 doesn’t it??

    • CrackSumSkulls says:

If you live in the City perhaps so, but not out where I am living. No cameras BS tracking scam nonsense. I have not left my BOL for a week and a half. I have about everything here I need all right here. Quick runs into town and back, here and there and that’s it.

    • durangokidd says:

“A Camera Always Filming”. Yeah that’s a bummer !!! It use to be sooo much fun to have sex outside. You can’t have ANY fun anymore without the prospect of being caught on tape !!! 🙂

  2. fullmoonrizing says:

I am afraid as doctors and hospitals transition over to Electronic Health Records the government will also find a way to be able to access all of our personal health records. We are in very dangerous times. Technology is a wonderful thing but is being manipulated by some for evil purposes.

  3. Frank Thoughts says:

The biggest scandal is this: all the surveillance is not there to prevent terrorism (since it clearly doesn’t) and it isn’t there to stop crime (violent crime is flourishing). It is there to steal intellectual property. We live in a giant ponzi scam economy. In order for the pantheon of morons (Elon Musk etc.) to flourish as the primary kings and queens of the ponzi economy, they need a mechanism to steal ideas and intellectual property. The surveiilance does that.

As can be seen from all the terrorist attacks, every one of these guys was not just on the radar screen, they were jumping up and down screaming “I am a terrorist: I will launch attacks!”. And yet nothing was done to stop them.

    • Frank Thoughts…

all the surveillance is not there to prevent terrorism … Because

The same people behind the surveillance are the creators of the Terrorism and the Terrorists. Just look at the beloved Trump traveling to the kingdom of the barbarians called Saudi Arabia who is the mother of all terrorists and terrorism.

  4. PO'd Patriot says:

Well looks like we finally made the Truman Show.

  5. The government calls it the unblinking eye. Also, they would have us believe that there are no bad people working at the NSA or the CIA. Only saints. Only 5000 people are employed by the NSA as government employees. The rest, over 40,000, are working for private contractors. The security clearances are done by the private companies. The recent arrest of “Reality Winner” should be a wake up call for everyone. She appears to be a total nutcase. If the reports are accurate. She hates old White men. Wants to burn the White House because Trump is there. Check her face book page. Also, it has become apparent that the political activists in the Democratic admin of Obama where looking at all the info they wanted to see about their opponents. And if you think that no one is selling industrial secrets from info gathered by NSA then you might be a little naive. The NSA is doing all the dirty work for state hackers. The NSA gathers it and the hackers steal it from the NSA. Defund the NSA. Defund the government. I ain’t holding my breath.

  6. buttcrackofdoom says:

HAPPY 1984, everybody! the new “unTOUCHABLES”….anybody working in government.

  7. Very-Concerned-Citizen says:

The rather interesting thing is, try to record the Gov’t or a Gov’t building and see how silly they act. They get very hostile and will call the cops on you, threaten you and at times attack you. This thing we call Gov’t has become an out of control, violent animal! One day, it will not be very pretty when the people have finally had enough, that will be judgement Day folks.

    • Menzoberranzan says:

Yes I’ve had the opportunity to observe some of their security and this and that and the other. I am unimpressed and am certain any one of these buildings can be overrun by determined, disciplined patriots. Some of the people responsible for our woes are in these places. Woe to a man that thinks he is my master. He’ll realize in the last seconds of his life that he is a fool.

  8. Houston/Cypress/Katy/Shtf says:

That thing is happening all over Texas. First they faked it, telling us that it was for red lights, to prevent accidents, and they cameras keep going up at all new intersections, all over this city. These are some of the things that are not going to change, that are un going.. This is why my position has changed on Trump. I know for a fact of life, in my gut, that not a damn thing will be done to improve the condition of this country, and to give people freedom and rights. NOT HAPPENING. We are half way down in the year, and all sorts of shit is happening. As one of these days and it could happen any day now, the grid will go down, the EMP will hit, and all us preppers will be so shocked at what happened, and then you wife and girlfriend or family will know that your telling the truth. The sooner that I get the hell away from this city, the better things will be for me to live out my life a few years longer. Not even the baddest of the baddest can surive the cities, the air will be so stink from decaying rotting corpses, that preppers who are hiding out will have to leave. Preppers trapped in cities will not survive. I am not sure if a lot of you all realize this yet. Every fucking intersection in Houston, all of them, every fucking one of them have cameras. Like I told my one of my friends, to quit driving down the street in you vettte, and stop letting you girl friend blow you while you drive. This is real, a lot of my idiotic friends still do this crap all the time, your on camera idiots. And yes my new girlfriend tried that crap with me and I stopped it. Not to mention, red necks like myself looking over at me in my car. And of course women are insane and like to do crap like that when we are driving. DUMBASSES, Your being filmed people. Now I am hearing shit about the new industrial urinals in mens restrooms are filming you taking a pizz. This country is completely screwed.

    HCKS.

Not everything is being video recorded.

There is not half a second of video of Seth Rich being shot.

    • Plan twice, prep once says:

People investigating Seth Rich’s murder indicate there are at least three cameras that had the murder in view. Reportedly all three failed to record, or the recording became corrupted missing the murder, including one fully functional ATM camera that has data stored at redundant locations on redundant servers.

      Yeah, nothing to see here!

I have posted many time on here and another forum about this INCESSANT WHINING about this ENSLAVEMENT.. One more time I will say (providing it is not yet again censored and deleted by MAC), IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT, CHANGE IT FOR F__CK SAKE!!!

I have repeated told people about TPTB WEAK LINK (THE ELECTRIC USED TO POWER THEIR CONTROL MECHANISM AND THE TECHNOLOGY RELIANT ON IT BOTH THEIR SYTEMS AND THE CONVENIENT TECHNOLOGY WE/THEY ALL KNOWING THEY ARE COLLECTING AND TRACKING ALL OF THE DATA!!!!!, but yet again, they WILL NOT GIVE UP THEIR LAZY CHAINS OF EASE IN A SYSTEM THAT ABUSES THEM.

  12. All those CCTV cameras, yet when a terrorist incident hits, we find out that the pertinent cameras were ‘out of service,’ broken or had so much grime on the bulb as to render the pics nothing more than grimy WTF? is that.

Yes, what a Brave New World we live in, Comrade!

    • Frank Thoughts says:

Watch the Bourne Identity: the one that takes place in Britain. A classic scene is when they go to make the hit, all the CCTV cameras snap out of action and droop down, creating a ‘blind moment’ for the assassin to strike. That isn’t far from the truth.

There was a case where they wanted to bust a drug-dealing low-life. He lived in a public housing estate that has the cameras. The footage was pin sharp: you could count the pubbies popping out the top of his tracksuit bottoms. But whenever there is a terrorist strike, the footage is grainy and looks like something out of the French Connection from the 1970s.

  13. Mountain Trekker says:

Seems there are very few comments when the subject is about Big Brother spying. Wonder why? Must be fear. Trekker Out

    • Smokey says:

No fear. The gov’t could care less about my activities and locations, this is just fear porn.

      • durangokidd says:

Yeah, Smokey that’s why ALL phone calls are digitized, recorded, and archived; with your location ID …. because the government is NOT interested in anything we do, or say, or where you might be.

        C’mom, Smokey you’re smarter than that !!! 🙂

      • Mountain Trekker says:

If they could care less, wonder why they collect all of this data? Just a thought. Trekker Out

    • Anonymous says:

A window peeper has serious psychological issues. These voyeur peeps often progress to crimes like rape. The psychopath is nosy and files all the information away for later use. If caught, they face penalties. On the other hand, another bunch of peepers, sexual deviants and psychopaths hide behind the shadowy cover of technology and citizen safety. Both groups are nefarious, dangerous and mentally unhinged.

  14. oops says:

Back in the day they’d be called perverts and arrested!

  15. Jim in Va. says:

I have nothing they need…bring on the cameras….

    • durangokidd says:

That’s EXACTLY why they surveil EVERYONE: to see what they got that the government might want. No point in wasting time, money, and a SWAT team on someone with NUTTIN (unless its a really slow day) !!! 🙂

  16. Shootit says:

The government captures all electronic traffic and saves it to a searchable database. Camera’s, face recognition, texts, emails(Hillary’s), internet searches, credit card purchases, smart phone locations, transactions, bank checks, loans, drivers license info, doctors records, etc. ALL get added to the searchable database(Think Utah). A slight violation of the 4th Amendment.

If someone would like to know how the government collects this data I would be glad to release it to the public.

  17. It is a double edged sword. The elite could tell us what is and we just take it in. Now, they can’t hide from the people so easily. Everybody is a reporter. There are cell phone cameras flashing and the elite know it. They are trapped in their own maze. The Internet is supposed to trap us, the commoners. But the elite are getting caught more than they expected. Being under a microscope has not stopped people, it is energizing them. Ooppss !! Unintended consequences.

  18. Beaumont says:

I am fairly comfortable, in my own skin. The problem is that they can criminalize ordinary behaviors, not done with the intent to be subversive. They can berate any part, of anything, whether they have seen it with their own eyes, or just in their imagination. A fair proportion of people in the jail think they are normal, just as you think you are normal. There does not strictly need to be a crime committed.

    • Anonymous says:

A favorite trick is a resisting arrest charge, for starters. I also know a totally innocent individual who got pinned with domestic violence. Get that and no more guns ever with that charge. THEY ARE CRIMINALIZING ORDINARY BEHAVIORS TO MAKE MONEY FOR THE SYSTEM AND TO DISARM. ALSO HARDER TO GET JOBS WITH A RECORD.
