The 84-year-old Supreme Court justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg has put her foot down.  She is not stepping down from her position on the Supreme Court anytime soon.

Ginsburg has been the subject of rumors that have said the octogenarian would retire during Donald Trump’s tenure as president, leaving an empty spot for him to fill. Ginsburg, also known as the “Notorious R.B.G” among her supporters, has served on the court for 24 years since former President Bill Clinton appointed her in 1993.

When asked Friday whether or not she was contemplating retirement, Ginsburg said: “My answer is as long as I can do the job full steam, I will do it.” The 84-year-old justice was talking to US Appeals Court Judge Ann Williams at an event sponsored by Equal Justice Works.

Ginsburg may have quite a different opinion from others on what “full steam” means, considering she fell asleep during liberal hero Barack Obama’s state of the union address.

Her comments come as President Donald Trump has suggested he will get more vacancies before his term is up, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is pursuing an aggressive campaign to push through nominations of lower court judges. Ginsburg’s answers to questions about her retirement have changed over the years.  As one on the left-leaning justices on the court, a Ginsburg retirement during Trump’s term would ensure a heavily stacked conservative court, which would have made certain laws like Obamacare all but impossible to get through.

But, Ginsburg will not retire anytime soon.  The justice’s liberal supporters hope she will stay on the court throughout the Trump administration. Despite observers concerns that she does not have the energy to continue in her position, Ginsburg shows no signs of slowing down.

She said her response to retirement questions has changed over the years, but now she’s adamant. “I used to have an answer; it worked for a lot of years. It was Justice [Louis] Brandeis when he was appointed. He was the same age as I was, 60. And he stayed for 23 years, so I expect to stay at least as long. Well, now I’ve passed Brandeis, I’ve passed [Justice Felix] Frankfurter,” she added.

Stubborn old twat. She knows she would be replaced by a conservative justice if she did
retire. She’s hoping Trump will only be a one term president and she will be replaced by
another library commie justice. Keep hope alive, BEOTCH.

  2. Upstate New Yorker says:

Die in office then, you 84 year old commie.

  3. Sgt. Dale says:

At her age she could wake up dead tomorrow.
    Sgt.

    • Heartless says:

When can only hope Sgt., we can only hope. I personally think she should recuse herself from every case due to her statements in the past about not considering the Constitution to be a model worth following when she spoke to the Egyptians, “I would not look to the U.S. Constitution, if I were drafting a constitution in the year 2012, I might look at the constitution of South Africa.”. What type of Supreme Court judge would say such a thing?!?!

    • SittingDuck says:

      WE can but Hope.

  4. rellik says:

Only the good die young. This witch will live to be 100 or more.
The day she dies I will buy some very expensive Cognac and make a toast to our increased freedom and gloat at the loss of her life.

  5. Lets hope this evil commie has a ‘health issue’ and has to retire, or God calls it early and introduces it to it’s next boss, Lucifer. What an evil insect it is. Just look at the things face. It actually looks like a demon.
If I had ultimate dictorial power, I would do what kim jong un did to his Uncle……See it sweating in front of the business end of a 30mm anti-aircraft gun, whilst I read the charges of treason against it….and exterminate it!!!!!

  6. butthurt of doom says:

We should hope for the removal from SCOTUS for any reason the leftists, and the wishy washy one as well.

Having said that, I don’t want to have any corporation-sucking toadie fascist.

    Just say No! to GMO’S!

Just say No! to Foreign Aid!

Just say No! to the New World Order!

  7. who knows who cares says:

Man WTF, this is something, the top cases for the whole country are herd here, effecting every damned body with their decisions, and its seated with individuals like this, border line Alzheimer patients.

There should be at least an 80 y/o age limit here, and that should be for ALL upper court judges.

I have no problem with “mature” people in these positions, but lets keep it real here.

  8. P-51 Mustang says:

It’s amazing anyone could believe this woman has the mental acuity to carry out her job.
The U.S. court systems and their LEO thugs are all corrupt.

  9. Survive on your own says:

    Term limits age limits!!!!

  10. cranerigger says:

She has been brain-dead for years. On another subject, thanks a lot to decades of leftist politicians that have turned New York City into an easy target for terrorists and other cowards. The second amendment, when properly allowed, prevents these cowards from killing large numbers of people. When your government prevents you from adequately protecting yourself or your family, are you living within a free society? Don’t worry, the police have plenty of chalk to put around the dead bodies.

  11. CENTURION says:

They will prop her up and all her little gewish commie clerks will keep writing her Anti White rulings.

    DIE

  12. NewVegasBadger says:

Rellik, You and I are thinking the same; I’m going buy some Cognac to celebrate, when that traitorous evil bitch is dead. If given the opportunity, I’d piss on her grave too (as a token of my respect for her).

  13. TEST says:

I don’t wish ill on anyone, but she is literally one of the most evil people in gov’t destroying this nation. I pray for her salvation, but also that at the same time, that God – however He wishes to do it, in His tim – remove her from this position where she has created SO much evil.

It is truly and literally hard to think of anyone who has fomented so much harm and evil on this nation.

  14. TEST says:

… of course, the only way one CAN actually be a liberal is to be mentally asleep… or else having the KoolAide start to kick in, in force

  15. the blame-e says:

You have to be 35-years-old to run for President of the United States. If there is a mandatory age on the front end, there ought to be a mandatory retirement age on the back end — for all professional politicians, judges and everyone in government. Term limits. Mandatory Term Limits.

  16. Philosopher Deplorabilis says:

My father is 84. He still thinks he is 34 and can do anything. He can’t. He can’t see, he can’t hear, he has no physical stamina. He doesn’t understand technology. Of course he thinks he understands everything. He does not. There is a time for people to go gracefully into the sunset and enjoy their final years. If this woman had any class that is what she would do.

This woman needs to retire. At this point she is sitting there and breathing. A democratic benchwarmer. Oh goody.

    • PO'd Patriot says:

“Democratic Benchwarmer” as most of the Dembats are.

    • rellik says:

      PD,
      Democrats don’t have any “Class”.
      All they have is hate.

    • the blame-e says:

Ruth Bader Ginsburg suffers from narcolepsy. Bet she slept through her classes at Columbia, too. “Constitutional Law? Yeah, kind of missed that one.”

    • Plan twice, prep once says:

      PD,
When someone who is 84 was young, the Democrat party was a whole different animal. It was actually populated by real “Conservative Democrats”, who have gone the way of the dinosaurs.

The DNC party was taken over by Marxists and Globalists in a gradual manner. This is the frog in the pot over low heat, who never realizes he’s being cooked. I saw it happening with my parents as well as they got older.

Yes, it’s scary that families can be split by modern MSM propaganda, where children are turned against parents, and brother against sister. This a biblical prophesy for the last days, but it also has occurred repeatedly through out history.

  17. vocalpatriot says:

Wouldn’t it be unfortunate if she just died?
Any method would be equally sad.
You know Like, knifed, shot, hit by a bus, fell down a flight of stairs, electrocuted by her toaster in the bathtub (yuk), eaten by a rottweiler (poor puppy)…
I would be so upset..ish..yeah well, maybe not so much.

  18. Archivist says:

There’s no good reason for Darth Vader Ginsberg to still be a judge when she turns 91.

  19. Come-On-People says:

That ugly fucking J#w cunt whore needs to get the fuck out!!

  20. This Texan Has Had Enough says:

Maybe it will not be her choice. God decides.

  21. Kevin2 says:

One has to be intellectually dishonest to subscribe to the philosophy of a Living Constitution where its framework for change, the Amendment process, can be bypassed for expediency. This negates the very document that they studied intently and swore to uphold. All that is necessary for the US to thrive is to follow the rulebook in letter and intent. Its literally that simple.

  22. Jim in Va. says:

    Kevin; well said!

  23. Warren says:

I give her a year at best, whenever a SCOTUS justice starts ademently saying they are not leaving, they are out in about 12 months.

  24. She may not want to retire, but Mother Nature might have other ideas. The Grim Reaper decides.

  25. Blade says:

Hope her and McCain are incapitated very soon, are removed from their positions then die a long, slow, excruciatingly painful death.
