      1. Yall have a great weekend….
        Enjoy…

A man boards a plane and as he is finding his seat he sees an old friend sitting near the rear of the plane. He says something to his friend and is immediately arrested and taken off the plane. What did he say?

        • Oh Goody! A return back to the Leper Colonies.
          How nostalgic, retro-medicine.

        • I love you Eppe, but this was weak

          • I am new to preparedness, I need to get a group of guys together. I can tell something is wrong but I am new to where I live (moved here 4 months ago for work). I have been doing some research and someone back home recommended this game to discuss survival situations without really having a serious conversation with people, has anyone tried Conflicted? Many thanks,

            http://conflictedthegame.com/

            Nick

            • Nick, never tried the game, but if you look at all the older articles here, you WILL get a good idea to what to do… That said, start slow on prepping, it is overwhelming, just do the basics first, then build upon it in time….

Mac, thanks again for having a site for us to discuss, vent and even joke upon….

            • Nick, for food read this article:ht tp://americanpreppersnetwork.com/2012/08/a-year-of-food-storage-for-300-for-a-family-of-four.html ,I put a space between http to avoid moderation and wait time.UScrow/mountain guerrilla/ and many other sites have good articles on forming groups,Builditsolar/mother earth news for alt energy/willow creek/survival sherpa/hedgehog leather works for great outdoor survival articles, will give article you mentioned a peruse.

            • Nick, read, read, read, everything you can and everywhere you can. There are great articles on many prepping websites. You must study hard to make up for time and catch up. It doesn’t take a lot of money or time to prep. just focus.

        • They can only force you to go somewhere against your will if they are still breathing. Remember that.

              • The uber-rich elites are buying up all the gold/silver they can get a hold of – and this *IS* *THE* prime reason the central banks & wall street are slamming the prices low.

Let’s get this straight – once these elites decide they have all they need to maintain and secure their wealth (and therefore, control) the people of the world will see the price of silver and gold skyrocket. But only until the elites have stockpiled what they need.

As for China and Russia – they are not so stupid, these two countries see right through the lies and are taking advantage over the rigged prices by stockpiling gold and silver. Thus, it comes to no surprise the American empire views Russia (and China) as a major threat – because they see right through the lies and are taking advantage.

The goal for rigging gold/silver prices was not to protect the petro-dollar – no way, the goal was to allow the elites a timeline to protect all their wealth *BEFORE* the dollar collapses. So, preppers, keep stackin’.

            • whowuddathunkit – no, but they may burn it down! It’d be a damn shame if you were still inside when your place was torched.

I’m thinking of how previous Ebola outbreaks have been so neatly and quickly contained by rural villagers without all the “International Assistance” of the latest outbreak.

Along with sanitation I think fire is the single biggest underestimated risk by preppers. The average prepper being a decent person forgets that scum will burn what they can’t steal out of spite, that fire is a great evidence destroyer if some sicko gets a “PURGE style urge”, that fire is normally a feature of civil unrest, and lastly that fire is how Mother Nature cleanses the landscape periodically in many areas. Urban, suburban or rural, fire should be a consideration for all of us.

MAC- I’d love to see an article focusing on protection your home from fire.

              • lone, the only way to fireproof you home is to build underground, any stick built home is prone. I want one of these…

              • @LoneLoneMum – If I can address your question about Fire. I worked on a Professional Fire Dept so I speak from experience. Fire is the cheapest most available weapon out there to destroy property. It burns from one end to the other until the fuel source is exhausted. Water is the greatest tool to extinguish it, beside smothering its oxygen. Know your fire triangle – Fuel, Oxygen and Heat. And of course more complex is the “tetrahedron”- self ignition. Accelerates such as Gasoline speeds up the heat source which causes fire to spread faster.

To put fires out, Keep many simple fire extinguishers in your home, including Smoke Detectors in all bedrooms, and near your furnace and attic areas. You can purchase large water catchment systems and if you can raise them higher up in the air you can use gravity fed hose systems to reach your entire house areas to help extinguish the fire. You can also enhance this with a water pump with high pressure and volume.

Here is what I would start at for a self home protection Fire hose, besides a garden hose. You will needs water source, such as a draw pump and pond water, a catchment system for that water, and then a another water pressure pump to force the water out of the hose.

Hose designed to be used to combat fires beyond the incipient stage.
Attack hose shall have a minimum design operating test pressure of 275 psi.
                Rubber Hose:
                Used for Rubbish, Brush, Washdowns
Requires High Pressure (approx. 200 psi)
Delivers low volume (approx. 50 gpm)
Highly mobile – can be handled by 1 firefighter
                Uses a fog type nozzle

                Source: for a photo: http://tkolb.net/tra_sch/FireHose/HoseBasics.html

As a Prepper, I would never store all of my Preps in one building, in fact I would bury half of my food, tools guns and ammo out doors under a rubbish pile or secure water tight barrels. So if someone tries to bur you out of your home, you have a back up plan. Or make a fake dog house to stock items. Your best bet is to stop the intruders farther away from your house than then could throw a moltov cocktails, and set up barbed wire and pungi sticks that you designed to funnel the intruder into your trap. Pay attention to crowds, if you see any body lighting these deadly cocktails you will have to quickly dispatch them before they can throw them at your home. Fire is a deadly tool. Stay alert, and may be it is easier to reduce your exposure by no storing all your preps in your main house. Your home could fully burn to the ground within an hour without any firefighting tactics. Hope this info helps enlighten this fire subject. Stay Safe.

                • To also add, if the grid is down and there is no electric, or normal water pressure, you will need gas generators to run high pressure, water pumps to feed the fire hoses. It may be safer just to evacuate and move on in life. Think during the 1860’s US Civil War how the North Burned Atlanta in their Scorched Earth Policy. That is what and how I would plan for in a full out Grid down SHTF Disaster. Good Luck and get out of the way early.

                • Thanks WWT. That was a lot of excellent information regarding fire protection. It is something we don’t think enough about, thank you so much!

                • Up your nose with a rubber hose.

              • Buy more fire extinguishers? Bigger and better fire extinguishers. What do firemen use for their own homes? Newbie prepper ready to learn!

              • southernprepper1 on youtube has several videos of fire prevention & fighting.

        • I told this joke to 4 different people before I posted it. All 4 laughed out loud. Just goes to show that humor is different to everyone… Will do better next time, even my wife did not see it as that good, so what can I say???
But I keep trying to put a smile on you guys faces, getting harder all the time….

          • Watching Hannity, NFL player spanking son with branch, abuse or not? If so, my mawmaw switched my legs many times… Did she ‘abuse me?’. Or spare the rod, spoil the child??? What do you people think???

            • He should be suspended for being a moron – SEVEN illegitimate kids?

              • He’s got 7 illegitimate kids?! I thought Adrian Peterson said he was a Christian.

I mean, of course Christians sin, and of course Christians are hypocrites, but 7 illegitimate kids? That’s crazy.

                • FreeSlave I agree and I’m not Judging whether he is a Christian or not. But one of the most fearful statements in the Bible is found in the Book of Matthew and they are the Words of Christ. Matt Chap.7 Vs.22&23 ” Many will say unto me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity”. That would be a devastating thing to hear! True, we’re all sinners, but we should not stumble, fall and continue to wallow in it. Trekker Out. Nuff Preaching!

            • eppe, that is just another step in the Liberals agenda. Had six kids, there was no 0neeeee, twoooooo, threeeeee, and no “time out” at my house. Just the snap of my belt as I pulled it out of the belt loops of my pants and that was not a threat. Good thing the statute of limitations is up. And there ain’t none of them in prison. Trekker Out.

              • I dont know the particulars personally but is claimed he caused open wounds and hit the kids genitalia,so,if true, then would say this guy fucking nuts, that said,do not know the truth of said injuries, many conflicting reports. Why a stick, use your hand, has nerves, your hand starts hurting you may be going overboard. My dad used to spank me,he also fucked up in that he had me taking martial arts, was old enuff to hit back and be effective, needless to say new forms of discipline required.I know two sets of parents raising kids without hitting them, the kids are disciplined if they mess up,the parents though are consistent and for the most part not hypocrites.A example of hypocrisy I pointed out was one had a kid who would occasionally swear/kid punished and mom and dad blaming media ect.I looked at them and said”Are you fucking kidding me?!”when upset/angry both parents would swear in front of their kid, lead by example, not do as I say,not as I do.That said, personally do not have kids(went to great lengths to insure this!)

                • War, we must be brothers from different mothers….

                  • I just installed a 802.11g router/modem from Arris, the company I work for. I got picked to be a test dummy for this new product. And I have to say it is FAST….
So here is a joke I have posted before, just to test this thing out… Enjoy….

                    Her First Date

If you didn’t see this on the Tonight show, I hope you’re sitting down when you read it. This is probably the funniest date story ever, first date or not!!! We have all had bad dates but this takes the cake.

Jay Leno went into the audience to find the most embarrassing first date that a woman ever had. The winner described her worst first date experience.

There was absolutely no question as to why her tale took the prize!

She said it was midwinter…Snowing and quite cold… and the guy had taken her skiing in the mountains outside Salt Lake City, Utah.

It was a day trip (no overnight). They were strangers, after all, and had never met before. The outing was fun but relatively uneventful until they were headed home late that afternoon.

They were driving back down the mountain, when she gradually began to realize that she should not have had that extra latte!! They were about an hour away from anywhere with a rest room and in the middle of nowhere! Her companion suggested she try to hold it, which she did for a while. Unfortunately, because of the heavy snow and slow going, there came a point here she told him that he had better stop and let her go beside the road, or it would be the front seat of his car.

They stopped and she quickly crawled out beside the car, yanked her pants down and started. In the deep snow she didn’t have good footing, so she let her butt rest against the rear fender to steady herself. Her companion stood on the side of the car watching for traffic and indeed was a real gentleman and refrained from peeking. All she could think about was the relief she felt despite the rather embarrassing nature of the situation.

Upon finishing however, she soon became aware of another sensation. As she bent to pull up her pants, the young lady discovered her buttocks were firmly glued against the car’s fender. Thoughts of tongues frozen to poles immediately came to mind as she attempted to disengage her flesh from the icy metal. It was quickly apparent that she had a brand new problem, due to the extreme cold. Horrified by her plight and yet aware of the humour of the moment, she answered her date’s concerns about’ what is taking so long’ with a reply that indeed, she was ‘freezing her butt off’ and in need of some assistance! He came around the car as she tried to cover herself with her sweater and then, as she looked imploringly into his eyes, he burst out laughing. She too, got the giggles and when they finally managed to compose themselves, they assessed her dilemma. Obviously, as hysterical as the situation was, they also were faced with a real problem.

Both agreed it would take something hot to free her chilly cheeks from the grip of the icy metal! Thinking about what had gotten her into the predicament in the first place, both quickly realized that there was only one way to get her free. So, as she looked the other way, her first time date proceeded to unzip his pants and pee her butt off the fender.

As the audience screamed in laughter, she took the Tonight Show prize hands down. Or perhaps that should be ‘pants down’. And you thought your first date was embarrassing. Jay Leno’s comment… ‘This gives a whole new meaning to being pissed off.’

Oh and how did the first date turn out? He became her husband and was sitting next to her on the Leno show.

If you laughed at this pass it on.

Remember, If you haven’t got a smile on your face and

laughter in your heart, then you are just a sour old fart!

                  • Brothers I can live with,as long as not twins!I really do not believe the world is ready for that yet!

                  • speaking of first dates ,a father was a little concerned with his daughter because she was always sitting around the house and never went out ,so one night he told her she should go out and meet some new friends and have some fun ,later that night when she came in he met her at the door and she had rice in her hair ,he said great yuo went to a wedding ,she said no ,i ran into some old friends and we went to a bar ,and i was giving a china man a blow job and he threw up on me

                • WD I disagree to a degree. First a hand can do much more damage than a switch or even a belt, and “NO” you shouldn’t leave open wounds or hit them in their private areas whether they are boys or girls. As for a child being able to fight back> I don’t think so, even a boy of 14 and taking martial arts would be in a heap of trouble if he struck back against any (kind of man). I have three sons, all are over 200 pounds and atleast 6’4 and I have people say, bet you don’t mess with them, and my response is, spank them when their young and you don’t have to fight them when their grown. Children are sometime a pain but they are truly a blessing. Trekker Out.

                  • MT,make no mistake, fought back like hell when big enuff and knew a few tricks. That said, was molested as a kid by neighbor so a lot of built up anger and was not going to have a adult touch me if I did not want it(like a girlfriend, all good there!),if necc. would shoot someone in the back as a kid/teen if they touched me,told that to a teacher who touched/grabbed me,luckily, late 70’s and,the teacher had no right to touch me,thus whole thing dropped, nope, you didn’t want to touch me as a child/teen uninvited, know what, still feel that way,so,hands off.

                • I saw the pictures. I got whoopins when I was a child with a switch, but nobody ever bruised me or drew blood like that kid had.

                • I have no issue with spanking a child as long as it does not cross the line into abuse. It sounds to me like he crossed that line. I would also say that he’s not an ordinary man, he’s a pro football player so what to him may not seem like excessive force may be quite different from the normal. Punishment is one thing, but inflicting injury and excessive pain is quite another. It should NEVER be done just to exert dominance but rather must be done in love. Love does not take enjoyment out of causing an injury, and that is what it sounds like he did.

              • MT, wow, six kids? Guess you did not have cable tv? Kidding of course, only got 2 girls, oldest looks like Cameron Diaz, the other looks like Molly Ringwald in 16 Candles… And I can relate, hard to keep the boys at bay.
Keeping shotgun cleaning when they visit, but you get the idea….

                • Aw Eppe, payback, tis a bitch aint it!My friends have had me over when daughters boyfriends by,am their daughters”uncle”!That said,as long as they are nice to my “neices”really none of my business, raise em strong and with self esteem, what happens beyond that out of your control, called kids growing up and the future of a less full nest.

                  • Amen War, we can only try to raise responsible offspring, my girls have good heads on their shoulders, much better than I was at their age…

                • eppe, you are so right, never had cable and also never had a/c until I was almost 50, and that was in Missourah where the temp was 90 to 100 most of the summer and nights were 70 and humidity was 80% or higher. That’s why I’m in Wyoming. Trekker Out. Besides I’m Scottish, But Not Catholic!

            • eppe, I think using today’s standards of child abuse, most of our parents back in our childhood, would have been arrested for abuse, and Us the children, placed in Foster Homes. I also have come to realize every family out there is dysfunctional. There is NO “Brady Bunch” out there, cause in real Life the father Michael Brady was Gay and the oldest son Greg was banging Carol Brady in real life, rumor tabloids has it.

            • Eppe if the switch is abuse than there are many people that have been abused. I just have observed that those that have been abused seem to be much better behaved. Have much better manners and generally do better in life than the spoiled rotten brats that aren’t. One of the major problems in society in my opinion.
Who the hell woke up one day and said my momma spanked me and it made me a violent person. Who woke up and said this is bad for kids.

Eppe sorry about your abuse. I can tell you were with your last joke. I think we should put you in time out. Move your hands away from the keyboard. 1 2 I knew you would before 3. But you have learned that you have 1 and 2 to misbehave on. I I think I will go spank my son just because this conversation aggravated me so. lol

        • Evidently those who gave you a thumbs down, don’t know you,

        • This article presumes that there is an interest in saving us. We will be left to wither on the vine in such an event. The survivors will have to deal with such thuggery.

      2. Enough already. The CDC just said the WORST CASE SCENARIO would be half a million infections world wide.

STILL more people dying from measles that that.

        http://www.bloomberg dot com/news/2014-09-19/ebola-worst-case-scenario-has-more-than-500-000-cases.html

        Sheesh.

        • Billy, thanks for your feedback here.

Let’s keep in mind that the Director of the CDC said in July: “It is not a potential of Ebola spreading widely in the U.S.,” claimed Frieden in a preemptive effort to prevent panic. “That is not in the cards.”

And then a couple weeks ago: “This is not just a problem for West Africa, it’s not just a problem for Africa,” Frieden said last week. “It’s a problem for the world, and the world needs to respond.”

So, in July there was no real issue… Then a month later we need a global response? Just sayin’

Moreover, the CDC is not the only organization running the numbers on potential contagion here… Some have gone as high as 5,000,000 (in just Africa).

We need to keep in mind that the CDC numbers probably do not account for a mutation that could potentially take it airborne.

In fact, according to THIS REPORT the virus is hyper evolving… Considering it has touched more people this time around than ever before, it’s certainly possible.

Regarding Dave Hodges’ analysis: I believe, though Ebola is the virus discussed, that Mr. Hodges intended to show us the government response that can be expected in ANY pandemic emergency scenario. Measles… Weaponized small pox… whatever… the response will likely be the same.

          • Mac, thanks for allowing us to play here, we all greatly appreciate what you do for us.

And your points are fair enough, but what are you (we?) going to do about it NOW? What can we do now that’s going to help if/when it becomes a real threat to us individually?

There are other potential threats that seem more important to me right here, right now.

We’ve got a mystery virus running rampant from coast to coast, an open border with God knows what coming through, a quickly declining set of rights, an economy that’s not just going to the shitter it’s already there and going deeper, we are being force-fed GMOs, we are witnessing the complete militarization of our LEOs and our state run schools, and the list goes on.

I get it, Ebola is moving fast. We have taken notice. Now what what do we do? Wait?

            • This is a “benefit” of a highly mobile worldwide transportation system. Travel that used to take days, weeks or months only takes a few hours now, allowing for a much faster/higher transmission rate from airborne/aerosol type viruses.

Stay out of public places, practice good hygiene and definitely stay away from all modes of mass transit.

              • If possible avoid Dr. offices, hospitals, crowds , public transportation and the known sick of any kind. Social distancing and isolating yourself from groups of people as much as possible is a good defense. Frequent hand washing and hand sanitizing are essential. WASH ALL food, even wash jars and cans before and after opening to decrease the bio load on the surface. Pray hard. Practice OPSEC at all times. Don’t stand out and draw attention to yourself.

                • For a little different take on “Ebola” do yourself a favor and check John Rappoports site nomorefakenews.

Wish we could have an article about his thoughts on thisw disease here at SHTF. Rappoports take on Ebola is an indictment of the CDC and big pharma. No advertisers on his site so he is able to give us a different picture of what is happening concerning this disease.

As an aside, take the Ebola vaccine at your own risk.

              • This concerns me….

Exponential: Ebola cases now DOUBLE every 3 weeks…

            • Billy,

              >”I get it, Ebola is moving fast. We have taken notice. Now what do we do? Wait?”<<

Waiting is not an option. Ebola is not the measles. This virus is so potent that it tries to convert the host directly into the virus itself, killing the host in the process.

The virus is still in its early evolutionary stages. If Ebola continues to evolve and develops a true airborne transmission capability like the flu, we could be talking about tens of millions of people infected with hundreds of thousands or even millions dead.

I don't know if a vaccine is available, but I'm pretty certain that it's public release will be driven largely by a profit motive.

Like I said earlier, waiting is not an option. I already assume it's just a matter of time before the virus crosses the ocean. Hell we have our own government bringing infected people back here to the states. That tells me the government doesn't take this threat seriously. We will be left to our own defenses to deal with Ebola if it appears here in the U.S.. Of that I'm certain.

Put together your own response kit now to protect yourself and family. Hopefully I'm wrong and you won't need it.

              • Wait till those 3K troops start rotating home.

                • Joe, if you have Obama’s ear, tell him sending those troops into a Ebola hot zone is a terrible idea. Cheers.

                • Joe,
Pretty insightful comment for a guy named Joe Biden, (sarcasm). I think you are on to something. Don’t overlook that there are numerous, well intentioned people volunteering to go to Africa and help fight this problem. What’ll they bring back?

            • There is nothing mysterious about the virus. Its called the Honduran Flu. It was brought into the country by thousands of illegals pouring across the boarder even now as we speak.

              • I just got over something. started out as a sore throat. then my sinus stopped up. lots of runny nose snot the my nose ran like water for a couple of days. I put some peppermint in my tea to sooth my throat and took some golden seal. adout two weeks.

                • Old Guy,

Same symptoms here. It took about 3 weeks to cure and a lot of O.J. and vitamins.

                  • Garlic works very well if you can stomach the burn. The best way to eat it is raw. It’s nature’s antiseptic and was used as an herbal cure long before it became a culinary afterthought. Haven’t had any colds for a year since eating about a clove a day.

Silver can clear up infections and colds within days if you’re looking for a fast remedy, but you have to replace a lot of gut flora or else suffer from the runs.

                • I had a headache first and a few days later, sore throat. I began drinking hot teas (no caffeine) and as soon as the sore throat hit, our homemade elderberry syrup. Sore throat was only for 2 days and the headache is almost gone. Stuffed up sinuses and headache made me think it was ragweed but when the sore throat hit, it was something else. Then one grandkid started on with the headache and then sore throat so out came the elderberry syrup. The grands love that stuff w/ the honey. Since they have helped pick the berries they get that its homemade.
Hope everyone out there stays away from the hot zone areas and doesnt get the entero68 or other crap the illegals have brought in.

                  • Truth,a clove of garlic in the juicer/blender with some carrots/apples ect. not bad at all, make it part of my juicing routine.

            • We all know what needs to be done and the price one must be willing to pay in order to effectively remove all the tyrants, traitors and mass murders within the government, medical industry, intelligence agencies, military etc.

Until then, things are going to continue getting worse for the average person.

          • Mac, I always appreciate what you do for us, but let’s not forget the CDC IS a government agency with no credibility and I still regard any of Hodges’ articles as the same; no credibility.

            • I do think the article has a great deal of fear mongering and it doesn’t display knowledge of some of the basics of disaster care that are currently in place.

I would expect to see the military, the DHS,and the CDC to all be called in but there are often inter-agency turf wars. So the response would vary based on which agency gained the upper hand in a given area. If the UN were called in, I doubt they would have much action because they would likely be dealing with Ebola on a global basis and they don’t have enough manpower for that. Heck, they haven’t even done a credible job of dealing with the current outbreak up til now.

I would expect to see curfews. It is likely that schools, theaters, and other public venues would be closed down. People would be instructed to go out only when necessary and they might be given only certain hours to be out on the streets. I think the health agencies might go door to door searching homes for infected individuals and then carting them off to quarantine. But, if the outbreak is severe, it might be difficult to recruit people to carry out this duty.

There would also be people fighting back. In one recent report, there was a team of eight health care workers who were killed when they moved into a very rural area to carry out Ebola care. Here in the US I could easily see this happening on a larger scale, discouraging even more people from agreeing to help fight the epidemic.

Fighting an epidemic is a difficult process. In the past, the best measures were policies of isolation for the victims and this often was done involuntarily. How are we going to feel when we are given a choice to isolate or risk infection?

I do not see how they could manage a mandatory vaccination program. Even when nations tried this to defeat small pox, they controlled it by vaccinating a portion of the population, not everyone. One of the CDC scientists showed that vaccinating a part of the population would halt the spread of the disease. The percentage that they need to reach varies with the disease and how it is spread. But they did not succeed in vaccinating everyone because there was a great deal of resistance to vaccination.

It is possible that employers will require employees to be vaccinated or they will be fired, especially in health care. Schools are likely to make vaccination mandatory too.

Right now, none of the vaccines have been shown conclusively to work. Even the ZMapp. Researchers say that they do not know if any of the people who received the vaccine actually gained benefit from it. They might have been at the point of recovering on their own anyway. The Westerners who develop Ebola benefit from having a healthier body that is better able to fight the infection and they typically get better care than the vast majority.

              • >>”Fighting an epidemic is a difficult process.”<<

Correct, especially when the epidemic is allowed to reach the point of no return when it is too late to contain it. I suppose that is a reflection of human nature to procrastinate for political purposes or just pure laziness.

                • I heard an excellent interview with one of the people organizing the first teams to fight this epidemic. Other countries, including the US, avoided sending medical help and supplies. The local governments didn’t help much either. In the interview, I could tell the person was trying to be diplomatic and not accuse anyone but it was clear that the outbreak was being neglected by people in the position to help.

                  • Merree,

                    >>”….but it was clear that the outbreak was being neglected by people in the position to help.”<<

Absolutely! Even when it became obvious months ago that this was not the average Ebola outbreak that would burn itself out in a matter of weeks, it was still considered a localized "African" problem. Now we have a confirmed case in Sweden, earlier this month, and the problem has now become a threat to global security.

I would say politicians have been a threat to global security far longer than Ebola. If we're lucky the virus will take a few of them with it. Thanks.

            • My thoughts exactly, Braveheart.

Why we cant have an article by Rappoport of nomorefakenews showing his side of the Ebola scare is beyond me.

Maybe it is not politically correct to criticise the CDC and their voodoo…..

No ebola vaccine for either of us, huh Braveheart?

              • Good evening, Granny. I’m going to check out nomorefakenews; sounds really interesting. And yes, NO vaccine of any type for braveheart. I’ll criticize CDC and their voodoo regardless. I don’t subscribe to that communist crap called political correctness. Take care.

          • Holy shit Mac! Who will I get to carry my H&H elephant rifle on my safari if they’re all flying the marble kite?

          • From the first time I heard them say “It’s not airborne” I’ve been crying “BULLSHIT” ever since! It only takes as few as TEN viral particles to catch it, and it has an affinity for the Epithelium. What’s the Epithelium? Well, it’s a type of cell that your SKIN is largely composed of. They tell us it’s not airborne- want to know what they’re telling each other?

-“We believe there is scientific and epidemiologic evidence that Ebola virus has the potential to be transmitted via infectious aerosol particles both near and at a distance from infected patients, which means that healthcare workers should be wearing respirators, not facemasks.”

-“No one knows for certain how Ebola virus is transmitted from one person to the next”

From: Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy

I’ll post a link to the article shortly.

            • I do think it is likely that Ebola is sometimes airborne. In “The Hot Zone”, they report a case where they divide monkeys into two groups. One is infected with Ebola and the other is kept uninfected as a control. A week or so after the infected animals have died, the control group becomes infected too. Of course, primates are known for flinging bodily waste around, so it is still possible that the culprit was bodily fluids.

Second there was airborne transmission at Reston, VA, although this was a different strain than the current strain of Ebola.

And, finally there are the studies done in Canada. In my opinion, it makes sense to just assume that it is airborne and to take precautions to this level.

              • I’ve seen it described as “aerosal” in a few articles. Which easily explains bodily fluid transmission.

            • Aren’t you the same person that made a comment just the other day that the Army trained you to kill little brown people all over the world? Yo also referred to them as creatures. You sound exactly like an elitest the very people that are destroying this nation. You should be so happy that they are doing these things! Your one sick dog!

          • I’m a bit pissed that we are now sending troops over . what better way to make sure we get a good dose of it back home than to send as many Americans in as possible

          • If Hodges is correct, and CDC owns the patent on Ebola, ALL OF CDC NEED TO BE ARRESTED FOR MURDER.

            • I remember A guy when I lived in Missourah that had a car dealership, it was (Richard Head Toyota). Never could believe that a family with the last name Head would name a son Richard. Trekker Out.

              • RBH and Satori. Thumbs up to both of you and your visions. BH, if I may with all due respect I would like to rephrase your ZERO CREDIBILITY comment to 100% CORRUPTION.

CDC and the big Medical Drug Cartels are two heads in one body just like our political system. • Then Obama’s quarantine and martial law “update” to include “severe acute respiratory syndromes” could include those affected by Enterovirus D68.

Doctor: Gov’t ‘Tight-Lipped’ on Respiratory Virus, May be From Illegals

“Dr. Jane Orient, Executive Director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, reported that the government has been “real tight-lipped” about the mysterious respiratory illness that has struck children in the United States, expressed concern that the illegal immigrant minors from Central America could be the source, and argued that the government should devote more resources to border security to combat the spread of disease.”

“… it only takes ONE infected child to infect the whole classroom.”

Orient added “we don’t know where it’s coming from…(there are many) immigrants from Central America, where this disease has allegedly been prevalent before?”

She also spoke about the risks posed by drug resistant tuberculosis, saying “virtually all of the cases of drug resistant TB that have been discovered in the United States are in foreign born individuals, and the vast majority of any type of TB is in a person who was born in a foreign country.

It is a public health nightmare to just have one of these cases in your community because the person needs to be quarantined…and you could catch TB on a bus, there is no question about that.”

Ebola – “it’s very, very contagious, it only takes between 5 and 10 virus particles to infect a person. You don’t have to have cuts…there are receptors for the viruses in [people’s] normal skin.”

And “it’s extremely transmissible that’s why people who like the idea of killing off 90% of population say it would be an ideal agent for accomplishing that. There have been attempts to weaponize it…but you don’t really need an ICBM warhead to transmit this, just some infected people coming across your border.”

“She further stressed that the government should devote more resources to securing the border to prevent the spread of disease.”

            • Blame it on Bush and vote for Hillary.

              • Both of them were and are AIPAC selected.

            • The CDC KNEW for a FACT that EV68 infected illegals were boarding planes and being spread around the country. Except then they were calling it by another one of its names: “Coxsackie virus” (same family as Polio btw). And they’re downplaying the risk just like you’d expect. They don’t tell you it can and HAS (as recently as January in CA.) left kids paralyzed or that it can and has killed (granted- it is a low mortality rate- but if its your kid that dies…)

They new well in advance what the risks were. If I need to tell you WHY they did it…it’s probably too late for you anyway.

              • argh! *knew

              • Enterovirus 68 and Coxsackie virus are not the same organisms but they are cousins.

There are two groups of Coxsackie viruses. Group A causes Hand, Foot and Mouth disease in humans. This is not the same as Foot and Mouth disease in animals. Group B causes respiratory infections and paralysis is one potential side effect.

Enterovirus 68 also causes respiratory infection. There have been about five cases of paralysis similar to polio in children infected with Enterovirus 68 so it does have a clinical course very similar to Coxsackie group B. However, the medical sources I checked considered them separate organisms.

Interestingly, right before Enterovirus 68 became prevalent around here, I had colleagues saying they were seeing a lot of Hand, Foot and Mouth disease. I have no idea whether these were connected.

                • Interestingly, HFM, EV68/EVD68 and Polio are still all in the Picornaviridae family. We know that TPTB don’t want to alarm us (and thus give us time to adjust/prepare) by using specific names and terms. Add to that they hold our intelligence in very low regard (sadly- can’t say as I blame them on that one)and they certainly don’t want to scare the flock by throwing out names like Polio, HFM or EV68. So it only makes sense that they would use the least threatening and most unfamiliar terms they could come up with. Don’t want people to think the flood of wetbacks could have a negative effect (say…MRTB?)on the sheeple! (meat is more tender if slaughtered without adrenaline pumping through it!)

        • From a post I made on a previous thread (which you either didn’t read or have no answer for)…

          @Billy Hill…..

What you have to consider here is the exponential function in this epidemic.

Yes….2600 people sounds like an insignificant number “now”.

But when you extrapolate the RATE of infection is when it gets interesting….and terrifying.

Let’s say the rate of infection doubles unchecked every 3 months….

In another 3 months that would be 5200 people. (still not worrisome) In another 3 months…you are up to 10,400…another 3 months, 20,800…and so on.

At the end of two years….you have over 5.3 million.

That’s with a rate doubling every 3 months. If the rate at which it doubles is LESS than that…..well…then…it’s much worse.

This is the nature of epidemics…..or pandemics. In 1918, the Spanish flu killed some 50 million world wide. That was with a mortality rate of less than 20%. This particular strain of Ebola has a mortality rate of over 50%.

According to what “THEY” are telling us…..Ebola is not even airborne…..yet. If it goes airborne, the rate of infection could increase significantly.

          Do the math.

          • The above was directed at Bill Hill by the way.

          • Walt, I did reply to your post a couple of hours ago… /headline-news/the-dow-and-sp-500-soar-to-irrational-heights-meanwhile-the-ultra-wealthy-rush-to-buy-gold-bars_09182014#comment-3228813

Here it is again in case you missed it…

            YOU do the math.

The CDC just said the WORST CASE would be 500,000 infections world wide.

            bloomberg dot com/news/2014-09-19/ebola-worst-case-scenario-has-more-than-500-000-cases.html

More people are dying from measles than that.

            • Sorry, “more than” 500,000 cases. They didn’t say more than 1,000,000 cases which leads me to believe it will be less.

If/when it gets to that stage world wide it’s still more likely to die from measles. Now if it got anywhere close to a million in a country that would get my attention.

This? Sorry. Not just yet, I’ve got better things to do while I continue to practice safe hygiene like I’ve done for years.

And don’t get yer panties all up in a knot either. I’m NOT dismissing this! It’s just not enough of a threat, yet, to put extra resources into that are better served elsewhere.

            • And maybe you missed this little gem from the CDC…

The CDC… has warned that unless government intervention is increased significantly, 550,000 people could be infected by the end of January.

A little push for more of the same bullshit .gov protection that has protected us from most of our Constitutional rights.

              Pffft.

              • That’s 550,000…as opposed to none prior to about a year earlier.

Again….it’s the exponential aspect of this that you have to be concerned about….not the total number of cases.

The figures don’t lie. If you graph the rate of infection, and corresponding deaths, it will look like a “hockey stick”. That is how an exponential increase is displayed.

So….if the total number of cases is 550,000 in January….as compared to NOW….you’ve got real problem. Because given that rate of increase over time, you will have an astronomical number of infections within just a few more months.

I think that is what you are not understanding.

                “The greatest shortcoming
of the human race is our
                inability to understand
                the exponential
                function.” – Prof.
                Al Bartlett

During past outbreaks of Ebola, the virus has essentially burned itself out in the areas where the outbreaks occurred. And the reason that they did, was that these outbreaks took place in very rural areas on the African continent. In those cases, authorities were able to quarantine the area and the virus ran its course.

With this last outbreak, the area affected is much more densely populated….an urban environment. People are also much closer together. And it also appears that with this particular strain, the percentage of those who die is somewhat lower….BUT ….it also appears that the ease with which the virus is transmitted is much greater. In this case, health workers who have been taking the proscribed precautions are getting infected regardless. This is extremely troublesome.

Here is a link where someone has actually extrapolated the numbers. I wish it where in graph form, because it would be far easier to wrap your mind around.

                investmentwatchblog.com/theoretical-ebola-spread-and-death-based-on-1-86-infection-rate-monthly/

                • Here’s another link. Pay particular attention to the second graph. Notice how it looks like a “hockey stick”?

                  qz.com/248542/this-interactive-map-shows-how-the-worst-ebola-epidemic-in-history-is-spreading-through-western-africa/

Of course, this is just for those areas currently affected by the outbreak. If they can contain it to that area, eventually, the graph will flatten out as the virus burns itself out. BUT….if it gets out of that region and to other parts of the world, then all bets are off. And they will have a VERY difficult time containing it. And THAT is what we have to worry about.

So yeah…..right now…..there are probably half a dozen communicable diseases that have killed more people this past year. But those diseases have pretty much already spread across the planet. There is an equilibrium, so to speak. No doubt measles has infected MORE people. But it doesn’t have a 50% mortality rate either.

                  • Walt,
I agree with the points you are making.

In my opinion, saying this Ebola outbreak isn’t significant because Ebola has only killed 2300 so far this year while disease X has killed this Y much higher number is like saying

“lets ignore serial killer A because he has only killed 3 people while killer B has killed 100”.

The point is that they both need to be controlled.

                  • Walt, keep drinking the kool-aid while you check this out…

                    naturalnews dot com/046946_Ebola_outbreak_vaccines_patents.html#

It’s all scripted! Ebola outbreak and impossibly rapid vaccine response clearly scripted; U.S. govt. patented Ebola in 2010 and now owns all victims’ blood.

Near-proof that this was all scripted
The far more likely explanation, of course, is that all this was scripted in advance: the outbreak, the international cry for help, the skyrocketing of the stock price for Tekmira (which has received financial investments from Monsanto), the urgent call for a vaccine and now the spontaneous availability of human vaccine trials.

                    Rubes.

                  • Anyone infected with Ebola now deemed to be carrying “government property” in the form of a patented virus

This brings us to the quarantine issue. As the whole world knows by now, the entire nation of Sierra Leone is now under a state of medical martial law, where Ebola victims are now being hunted down like fugitives in door-to-door manhunts. [4]

Simultaneously, the United States government is now operating under Obama’s executive order #13674, signed on July 31, 2014, which allows the U.S. federal government to arrest and quarantine any person who shows symptoms of infectious disease. [5]

                    See where this is going???

                  • Billy Hill….

I’m not drinking the kool-aid. I’ve never said that I believe everything we are being told about this virus or the circumstances surrounding this epidemic.

If you have ever read any of my previous posts, you would see that I have ZERO faith in TPTB. In fact, I’ve mentioned before that I would NEVER take a vaccine simply because of what the globalists are doing in the way of poisoning us with them.

In fact, I think that there is a very real possibility….no…and EXCELLENT possibility that this has all been engineered by the globalists as part of their agenda to depopulate the planet.

That should rather support my argument, rather than refute it.

You seem to think that they are using this epidemic as an excuse to force us into taking a vaccine and so they can make obscene profits.

I say…yeah….that’s probably true. But they are also more than happy to kill a few million (or billion?) people in the process, so they can cull the herd.

The point is…the mathematics don’t lie. This epidemic at this time IS exponential in the way it is progressing. And if it remains unchecked (i.e. it spreads world-wide), the number of infected and dead will be in the millions…or hundreds of millions.

You have to look at two factors here. 1. rate of infection 2. mortality rate

Currently, the rate of infection (even though it is exponential) is relatively low. If this virus goes airborne (which some believe it already has), then combined with its mortality rate, the potential for devastation is dramatically increased.

Again…I refer to the Spanish flu epidemic of 1918. The rate of infection was extremely high…but the mortality rate was relatively low. Even so…..it killed some 50 MILLION people world-wide.

Look at the figures again. You are looking at the low-end of the hockey stick graph and assuming that because the numbers are low relative to other diseases, it will remain that way. You’ve got to extrapolate the numbers out several months in advance to get the true picture of where this is going.

Again….if they can succeed with containment of this virus to west Africa…as well as contain it in other locations where it pops up…then the numbers will eventually plateau and the virus will burn itself out, as it has in previous outbreaks. But because this time the epidemic is located in urban areas of the African continent, the numbers of infected and dead will be much higher than previous epidemics. In fact. The numbers are already higher.

                  • Walt said:

Again….if they can succeed with containment of this virus to west Africa…as well as contain it in other locations where it pops up…then

You clearly and completely missed what I was talking about.

Our .gov owns the patent on Ebola. That means they get royalties for Every. Single. Vaccination. administered worldwide. They are even hinting that they technically own your blood when you get infected with it. They have already put the pieces in place to imprison you if you get sick. And they’re doing it in Sierra Leone.

Do you really believe that the so-called vaccine was, for the FIRST TIME IN HISTORY, developed, tested and approved at nearly the exact same time as the outbreak? Those processes take years, not days.

There is no urgency to contain this .gov-made problem.

                  • @Billy Hill…

And you are completely ignoring the math.

*sigh* I won’t bother to try to explain it anymore.

But it doesn’t matter if Bill Gates and Monsanto have whatever “patent rights” they may have. That in no way affects one way or the other the fact this virus is real. And it’s killing people in great numbers.

The conspiracy issues surrounding this are an aside.

These people are not beyond screwing up and unleashing a hell over which not even they have control.

WHETHER OR NOT THEY DEVELOPED A VACCINE IN 6 YEARS OR 6 DAYS IS IRRELEVANT TO THE DISCUSSION OF THE SCOPE OF THIS EPIDEMIC.

I wouldn’t take the vaccine anyway. As I’ve said before regarding mandatory vaccination…..They can leave me alone, or they can kill me. Those are the ONLY two options they have. Should they choose to kill me, I plan on taking as many of them with me as I can.

                • The big issue I have is if they can’t control it at the 5-10k actual cases that are estimated to exist as of now, how the hell do they think it will be controlled at 550,000? At that point, I would think that most of the human race is doomed because there would be no stopping it. Agriculture would cease, civil unrest would blossom around the globe due to starvation, and those not killed by Ebola would likely be killed by the marauding bands of survivors desperate for supplies. It’s entirely possible that only 10% of the human race would escape death and the world would become a very different place indeed.

                  • Well said Winston….

And that’s a lot of the point I’ve been trying to make.

If this remains contained in west Africa…then there is a chance it will burn itself out. But if it gets beyond there to the rest of the world, we are looking at a major SHTF situation.

I remember reading “The Hot Zone”, which was about the first Ebola outbreak in back in 1976. In the book, the author described Ebola as a “slate wiper”.

Something else to look at, if you haven’t already, is the History Channel docudrama called “After Armageddon” (available on youtube) which explores a scenario of a “grid down” situation as the result of a flu pandemic. In short….if a significant percentage of your population has become victim of a plague, critical infrastructure gets affected. You then are faced with a societal collapse and people dying…not because of the plague directly…but because of the societal collapse and accompanying chaos that ensues.

        • Billy Hill: You can’t go around with easily verifiable facts (measles) to the subterranean dwellers here, they prefer to wallow in the outrageous fiction of paranoid delusions because it feeds their need for fear. Most of the denizens of this site have been conditioned so long to believe any bad news, that they accept it without question because it fits their life’s narrative. They’ve been spending so much time and money prepping that they are waiting breathlessly for any bad news that may finally usher in doomsday. They are desperate for any story, however flimsy, to hang on to. Every morning they wake hoping that this will be the day, and every night the go to bed hoping that maybe, just maybe, tomorrow will the last day, otherwise their sad little lives have amounted to one giant hoax, and that they can not tolerate to even think about. So that is why you got, and I surely will get, a lot of ‘thumbs down’.

          • Professor, you’re right. I’m fairly new here and at first glance it looked like most here were mentally more independent and stable than the herds of sheeple that roam the streets of the USA.

That’s proving to not be the case. I fear very dark days ahead of US.

      3. More of the same.

        • I’m sure most of you have read this book “one second after” but if you haven’t, it’s quite good. (at least so far, I’m on chapter 5)
it’s available on youtube in an audio format, so if your interested here is the link:

          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4iWtViHu7U

now that is only chapter one, I believe there are 11 chapters all together, each one approx. an hour. I’m sure you can navigate to find the rest of the chapters.

prepper tip of the day: buy silver, about 18.65 an ounce.

          • Hey! Thanks for the link!

      4. “The present data trail tells us that the CDC owns the illness “and all variants known as “Ebola”. Since the CDC owns Ebola, anyone attempting to treat Ebola, within the United States, must pay a royalty to the CDC”

        this is false
there will be no royalty paid to treat the disease
if a vaccine is developed for human use
        then yes
there will be a charge for that
        just like all other medications

if the CDC does “own” ebola
then of course they would be legally responsible
for all costs associated in treating anyone who caught the disease
and any and all associated damages

currently they would be on the hook for BILLIONS

        • Like the whole GMO-unintentionally-contaminating-nearby-crops-then-Monsanto-suing-the-farmer, does this mean anyone who contracts ebola will be sued by the CDC for “illegally” acquiring this disease?

        • Billions? You mean “billions” as in the amount that each Michelle-Marie Antoinette Obama vacation costs?

Just trying to confirm the amount.

      5. There will be a big difference here. WE WILL SHOOT BACK!!!!!!!!!!!
Prep what you can because you know Damn
Good and Well that they will try it here.
        AIM SMALL MISS SMALL
        Sgt.

        • Good day, Sarge. Braveheart will also shoot back, no questions asked! AIM SMALL MISS SMALL braveheart

        • In all wars up until Korea 85% of trained soldiers would not shoot to kill. It’s a fucking hell of a thing to kill a man. To prepare psychologically you got to visualize that shit and drill yourself to perform the required actions. Then you get fucking idiots like Be Informed and Jeremy Hopper that bitch and moan about the psychologically disturbed fantasizing about killing and all this fucking dipshit on a stick.

GROW UP. Being a prepper means facing some uncomfortable truths. You old people better shave your vaginas and move into town.

          • Feeling a little hardcore? People don’t like to face uncomfortable situations/truths. It makes them have to face that the outcome may not be a rosy as they may wish.. Basic human nature.

      6. We the people of the USA are in trouble. I know that bad news has been reported for years but its finally coming fruition.

Sites like this one are becoming more and more important everyday.

I have a strong feeling we need to encourage each other and come together if we are going to survive.

        Just my thoughts…

        • Yes FreeIllinois, but I see more and more trolling and divisiveness on here. Red thumbs are one thing, but out and out attacks? Let’s work together here so we ach individually can stand alone.

          • EACH, sorry. Have to forum wide FFS (Fat FInger Syndrome)

        • We can hope!
There will always be troublemakers but have faith and watch eachothers backs and all will be well, i hope

          • Howdy Kula, I havent been commenting for awhile been busy, but been listening. Just want you and others on shtf, I have your back for the weary traveler. Its not the Hilton, its a Century old farm house with Plenty of water, heat, food. All fighting for the cause and like minded are welcome..Standing by in PA.

            • PAFarmer. PA is part of the Worlds Largest Army concentration. The American Hunter, particularly the Deer Hunter, bagging that large Game. Deer hunters are just like snipers, stalking their prey. Game On!!

      7. I think I’ll buy $100.00 in silver today.

And 250 pounds of food for the long term food storage.

        Maybe another pallet of water.

And honey… man it is expensive – but stores, literally, forever.

        • Silver is at $17.79 right now. Didn’t think I’d see that. I’ll be heading to my favorite jeweler this weekend to get a few more stacks myself. 🙂

          • I buy mine from Providentmetals dot com.

            • I buy mine from locals who love cash and don’t ask for ID. 😉

          • Just don’t spend all your fiat on it just yet. It still has further to fall and it’s likely you’ll be able to buy more for the same cash outlay in a short time.

        • @ Townsaver : Here in Florida, about once a month Walgreens has honey on sale for $4.99/28 oz. It’s not local, but it is the cheapest around. It taste good to.

          • I don’t know if its true or not, but I’ve always heard that if you have allergies, that it helps if you eat locally produced honey. Trekker Out.

          • Walgreen’s honey is adulterated and not pure.

            Much like my ex…

        • Townsaver:

Not all honey is created equal. I have even tasted some that was less than good.

I buy mine from Costco. It is from Anna’s Clover Honey and is Grade A, all natural, ripened in the hive. It is listed at Costco’s website 40# for $155. It seems to me the shipping was free.

Anna’s also has a website that you can check out.

      8. Im asthmatic, have been for 20+ years, respiratory issues are every day stuff and im not the only one.
IM NOT GOING ANYWHERE WITH ANYONE.
Go ahead, try and make me…..

        • Kulafarmer, braveheart is the same way. No quarantines or any other NWO BS for me, never touch the stuff.

          • Growing up, i knew 2 men who were quite old, they both had tattoos on their forearm from the Nazis.
That is all the proof i will ever need that government is evil to the core no matter what government we are talking about.
I would rather be dead than submit.
            NOMI

            • Kula, when I said ‘the same here’, I meant I won’t go along with any NWO crap. I’m not asthmatic, thank God.

            • Seems like when people become part of a government. Anything goes to protect their income/food/power.

        • I have asthma also. I haven’t taken any medicine for it in over a year. I think I’ll get my doctor to add in my case notes that I’m cured.

          • Kula/Arch: go to gnc, get tincture of lobelia, and lots of peppermint tea, brew the tea, add 1-2 oz of lobelia. Put on sweatsuit/blankets, drink combo. Keep bucket beside you, you will hack up black balls of tar from your lungs. Repeat. Cured a buddy this way. Costs 25$ or so. Worth a try???

      9. Wish I could remember where I saw the article.
The article stated that there was 3000 jihadist that have crossed the southern border with EBOLA.
I think I saw it on You Tube.
        Sgt.

        • Well, the good news is that there will be 3,000 less jihadist in the world.
          Dam, are they stupid.
Note to Jihadist, The Ebola virus was made in a bio-weapons lab, out of PIG’S Blood.

        • Seeing as we have yet to see a massive number of Ebola cases in the US, I am calling BS on that one. If they haven’t spread it yet, it is probable that they no longer can due to the effects of the virus.

      10. So are we getting a sense of the timing here? Bubbles in the stock market, rich rushing to buy gold, US thinking quarantine, Race riots on simmer to boil, China just overtaking Amazon in market share, a black mass in the heartland of America and even the NFL has become a political football. How long, Oh Lord, How Long?

        • I was sitting in a restaurant a little while ago and Sports Center was on ESPN. 15 minutes into the show and they still hadn’t mentioned any sporting events or scores. All they could talk about was the head of the NFL being “sorry” for the personal, off-the-field actions of a ballplayer. Not the ballplayer himself, or his parents, or his coach, or even the team owner. Ridiculous waste of air time.

I say, if the ballplayer gets put in jail, then he can’t play football. If he doesn’t get put in jail, then he does get to play. Simple.

        • Charlie, screw amazon, they gave up the battle and collect state taxes from their own warehouse sales, some sellors still don’t,will not deal directly with amazon anymore even though no sales tax in home state.

      11. repost
        I’m giving this a bump
everyone needs to be aware of this IMPORTANT development
        especially health care workers

        ***** EBOLA CRITICAL UPDATE *****

CIDRAP – Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy suggest respirators for all Ebola healthcare workers – aerosol transmissibility of virus in question

        http://theextinctionprotocol.wordpress.com/2014/09/19/cidrap-center-for-infectious-disease-research-and-policy-suggest-respirators-for-all-ebola-healthcare-workers-aerosol-transmissibility-of-virus-in-question/

“Unclear modes of transmission. We believe there is scientific and epidemiologic evidence that Ebola virus has the potential to be transmitted via infectious aerosol particles both near and at a distance from infected patients, which means that healthcare workers should be wearing respirators, not facemasks”

this basically says in health care settings at least
N95 and N100 masks are NOT adequate to protect you

      12. What to we do with the EbolaCare troops when they return home ? They have to be put in quarantine someplace !
Our troops have been asked to fight everything but never a disease. This is a job for the UN and the WHO, we cannot be expected to pay not only for ObamaCare but now EbolaCare. This should be an all volunteer group, if I was active duty I would refuse to go. This order goes far beyond the call of duty.

        • I think some of the military being sent into Africa are the medical specialists that train in dealing with level 3 and 4 disease. In “The Hot Zone” they sent a team from the group that studied Ebola in the lab. I suspect a similar team is the core of the group sent to Africa.

      13. War is already here and this is just another battle plan that will be used against us, everything wholesome and right is under attack.

I truly believe TPTB can’t figure out why we haven’t started a revolution yet, but I’m sure there happy that they’ve been able to proceed almost completely unencumbered.

Every day it seems some old or new threat chips away at our freedoms, I don’t know how any of this begins or ends, but some place in between we’ll all have a decision to make and I for one will not go quietly.

        • An alien force (evil) has infected and affected us,(Socialism) humanity is at a point that they’ll accept it but many will never, it’s always been about dumbing us down to the point of idiocy that we accept all that is fed to us.

It amazes me that people don’t get where we’re at, that they choose to be so blind, that those grounded in nothing will never know what it’s like to have faith.

How did we get here? How corrupt is our government? And what is it I must due as an individual to make it right!

          • Y99, I agree with both of your posts. My late wife and her family suffered terribly under Fidel Castro’s brand of socialism in Cuba. I made my decision over 2 decades ago to stand up against this evil federal government. I think the day of reckoning is coming sooner than any of us think.

            • Brave//war

So the survival of a once great country depends on the people who know it best, the people that are slow to wake will die in the chaos or survive and become who knows what, friend or foe?

Everything that’s happened and is happening seems so contrary to reality that danger of one kind or another is close at hand.

          • 99,tis the same mental block that folks have about prepping, means you have to admit things are not great and can go very wrong/very quickly.Folks would like to live peacefully, with friends and family/doing as they wish without hurting others ect.,not a bad thing but more need to be awakened to what is/can happen, don’t give up on folks as some do.Just like obola wakening people up is like the spread of a virus, can keep doubling,as you prep yourself/family/friends the more that are woken up the better off we all may be.

      14. The CDC director is selected by the same ZOG who create imaginary scare tactics and now is his turn to create another fear factor claiming the Ebola or any other darn thing would kill us all. And all of the fears factors are being implemented while Dow is making billions for a top 1%ers.

        Have a nice weekend everyone.

        • He is the ZOG man, He is the Walrus, koo koo kachoo, koo koo kachoo

      15. I only made it halfway through the article. Citing one’s own website as a source for information immediately makes any further information contained within the article suspect, factual or not.

I only made it a little farther than the quoted truncated script of EO 13295, where the author points out that it has been further amended to include asthma but doesn’t include that text as another example.

Every time I read a Hodges article like this all I can see is conjecture (bad, at that) and fear mongering.

I thank Satori for debunking this article so quickly. Many thumbs up!

        • Any Mouse, you’re doing exactly right to be skeptical about a Dave Hodges article, Hodges is full of do-do.

          • Braveheart:

            Maybe a do-do full of doo-doo?

            • Granny, that is even worse.

      16. oh I just freakin’ love the CDC

CDC’s “Lesser Of Evils” Double Standard On Health Care Worker Protection Indicates They Expect a Large Ebola Outbreak In USA

        http://pissinontheroses.blogspot.com/2014/08/cdcs-lesser-of-evils-double-standard-on.html

“Prior to the outbreak, Ebola Biosafey Level 4 [BSL-4] regulations limited treatment of Ebola patients to only 22 hospital beds across the country which had the required BSL-4 treatment rooms and ‘space suits’.”

but now they’re telling doctors and nurses

“”Barbara Russell:…. I had that concern about that double standard. It’s very hard to convince emergency room staff and others that we just have to wear a gown, and gloves and mask.”

        REALLY ???
        WTF ???

        from biolevel 4
to gown ,gloves and a mask ???
if gown, gloves and a mask are ok for FRONT line health care personnel
why in the hell don’t they just use that level of protection
when dealing with EBOLA in the lab?

can some idiot from the CDC answer me that ???

are they trying to kill off doctors and nurses ???

        • Satori, I wouldn’t be surprised if Hodges and CDC were somehow related.

        • And let’s not forget that 1/5 of the medical personal sent to west Africa have been infected with Ebola and died and now Baraq is sending over 10% of our active duty Army to Ebola infested west Africa(3,000 out of 546,047), troops who are not as well trained as these medical professionals in protecting themselves and who probably won’t even be issued or even wearing a gown, and gloves and mask, but who will be rotated stateside via numerous air carriers to bases all over CONUS, if half of them become infected, that is 1500 patient zeros in the US military.

      17. Actually the U.S. Government (via HHS) DOES own letters Patent on Ebola strains…among other nasty things.

Allegedly, it is a ‘weakened’ or inactivated version of the virus that they can use for ‘research’and ‘testing’. Uh, huh…sure.

        Here is one such Patent:
Human Ebola Virus Species and Compositions and Methods Thereof
        US 20120251502 A1

        Abstract

Compositions and methods including and related to the Ebola Bundibugyo virus (EboBun) are provided. Compositions are provided that are operable as immunogens to elicit and immune response or protection from EboBun challenge in a subject such as a primate. Inventive methods are directed to detection and treatment of EboBun infection.

…and more importantly here are some patents on FIGHTING EBOLA infections and other horrible things:

US2011027388 — Cobalt Hexammine as a Potential Therapeutic Against HIV and/or Ebola Virus

US2010021556 — Method for the production of an agent against an infectious disease

        US2010016244 — D-GLUCOPYRANOSE 1-[3,5-BIS (1,1-DIMETHYLETHY)-4-HYDROXYBENZOATE] AND ITS DERIVATIVES, PREPARATION AND USE THEREOF

US2009203675 — Sulfonyl Semicarbazides, Semicarbazides and Ureas, Pharmaceutical Compositions Thereof, and Methods for Treating Hemorrhagic Fever Viruses, Including Infections Associated with Arena Viruses

        WO2007100525 — VIRAL TREATMENT

Might be worth doing some reading on these treatments…

        • Cobalt Hexammine, -GLUCOPYRANOSE 1-[3,5-BIS (1,1-DIMETHYLETHY)-4-HYDROXYBENZOATE…. hmmmm… sounds like what Monsatan has McDonalds put in their french fries. Just sayin’

      18. Has anyone read any studies of how viruses outbreak? The bits and pieces I know is each year the phramas prepare a vaccine with like 4 viruses in it, but the concoction is a throw at the dart board because any of maybe dozens of other viruses could be the one that turns into “the flu”. I’ve heard these come from birds to humans in Asia and then make it to USA a few months later. Is that all correct? Is it 3 months or 6 months? Do you see where I’m going with respect to Ebola?

        • A good book to read is:

          SPILLOVER by David Quammen

it’s full of “studies of how viruses outbreak”

        • @ dontbeanidiot : I saw a show on TV a while back. Can’t remember the show, probably the libtard news conference. Anyways, they have like nine months to narrow the flu down to the three strongest strains, scientifically guess wich one of the three to make, get it made and shipped out to be given for the next years flu season. They stated, they get it right about 85% of the time. Then flu season, and start all over. They get it all started in Asia.

      19. A Navy SEAL was just interviewed by Greta van Susteren this week (or last, I don’t have the exact date), who indicated that 90% of the military does not support Obama. Let’s say he’s WAY off in his estimate… say it’s 60%, or 50 or even 40%. This does NOT bode well for the Alinskyites. Yes, they do have their vile shock troops in the military, using their good ol Antonio Gramsci “don’t attack the US military, but rather take over the culture” horse manure, but whatever number you use, a MASSIVE amount of the military is on the side of freedom. Ditto with much – not all, of course – of our **peace** officers

      20. And if you don’t know who Gramsci is, you need to google him, or see Wikipedia at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonio_Gramsci Basically, the goal is to take over the target culture (similar to Fabian socialism).

Or think of it this way, per Charleton Heston (who would be persona non grata in vile, corrupt, Learjet leftist Hollywierd today!): “Modern media fills the cultural airwaves with a mist of anesthesia, so that principles and values are slowly desensitized to the coming onslaught. The new culture arrives on the heels of this propaganda. It simply moves in and takes over, like slipping a fine new glove over a numbed hand. The outcome of the war is just as devastating, but without bombs bursting , twisted bodies to bury, or rubble to rebuild. A new class, a different culture, simply takes over.”

That, mes amis, is what our battle is about. It is a non-violent one of the PEN, EDUCATION and INFORMATION DISSEMINATION. And we MUST engage with our voices and our pens, no matter how much we are bad mouthed by the ignorant left.

      21. Wait a minute. According to MSM, the Russians are the bad guys…So why are they here training here in the US and at the same time threatening to nuke us? Please assist.

      22. AM, the links to previous articles contain the sources. He isn’t citing himself… the sources are cited in his articles and you would know that if you read it before tossing it as unreliable.

        • Then he should have cited the ORIGINAL source instead of linking to HIS article that contained the so-called sources. Then I may have found the article more credible.

The article at its core is pure fantasy and conjecture with a few convenient “facts” thrown in for good measure.. Pseudo-news at its worst.

If pseudo news is what I wanted, I would watch Colbert or Stewart, at least their funny.

      23. If this government fails at one they will try another. They have so many choices.

      24. And, Satori… “CDC on the hook” …so you think victims of Ebola will be contacting their lawyers to sue the CDC? That is laughable. Their survivors?… nope, they’ll be sick, too. I don’t see this being resolved in a courtroom. If by some miracle a suit materializes, the full weight of this govt agency will come down on whoever makes it to the courtroom.

        • umm
          no
the CDC isn’t on the hook for anything
they don’t “own” the virus as Hodges intimates

now if one of the variants was to escape the lab and infected people
then the owner of that variant would be legally responsible

          • Well I’m sure the legal consequences are keeping everybody in line…like Obama says, “ours is a nation of laws.” No worries, carry on.

        • And I feel those that try and suppress our last shot nonviolent justice, the courtroom, they will be met by many judge/juries/executioners all in one.

      25. Problem – Action – Solution to the rescue! Wow, isn’t it amazing that Bill Gates bought the very company that has been working on a cure! Gee, I wonder who’s in, and who’s out?

      26. The bright side doom is that when the smoke clears, we will be the kings of the future! Now, if I could just find my briefcase with my plans for reorganizing civilization…
        Standing ready in Daytona

      27. ya know
ya just have to love the hubris of the human species

More Problems Found at Leaky New Mexico Nuclear Waste Dump

        http://thewest.gawker.com/more-problems-found-at-leaky-new-mexico-nuclear-waste-d-1636882315/+laceydonohue

“According to former DOE officials, the facility was designed so that a release of any radioactivity into the atmosphere was supposed to be a 1-in-every-200,000 year event.

In reality, it only took about 15 years for the facility—opened in 1999—to fail.”

        whoopsie !!!

        the Titanic will never sink
the Edsel is the best car ever
and everyone will just love New Coke

and EBOLA is just a itch and a scratch !

        ha ha ha
        what was God thinking ?
        oh well
we seemed like a good idea at the time !

        • The problem is no one follows his laws.

      28. Another day CLOSER to The Walking Dead for real! Lots and lots of ammo stocked, ditto on food, water. If I see a blue helmet within 1000 yards of my “front door” it could have a hole in it before too long.

      29. Don’t forget the second C in CDC stands for CONTROL, not eradication, elimination or the destruction of.
The intent is to control every aspect of the Disease(s) for the benefit of the want-to-be overlords.
While Mr. Hodges uses writer’s imagination to instill fear in his readers, even if 50% is true its bloodcurdling how we could be manipulated into a completely dominated free ranged people over a “threat” of pandemic. On top of this the CDC’s top bio/Agro defense lab is being moved from Plum Island GA. to Manhattan, Kansas . Right in the heart of America. They can’t control their bio weapons on site, so how can we expect them to control them in transport?

      30. …read an article off of WebMD…CDC is hosting a training course for doctors and nurses, for ebola quarantine training…caveat: must have an invitation from an aid organization, to go help…before they will allow one to register for the training program….

        • @molly, I would bet every liver and gold piece I have that if you receive the training you are mandated to treat in an outbreak, and become a slave, umm property of the state.

          • Lol SILVER. Hate autocorrect.

      31. Do you have any sympathy left?

At this point in time would you feel sorry for your fellow American if he or she got caught in in a car bomb? Christ Sakes all the signs are there! This mystery sickness striking children. Where did it come from? A Classroom is a perfect transmission cell. Doctors to be TIGHT LIPPED.
We better start talking about hunting, trapping, fishing, eatable bugs and plants, frog and fish gigging. finding bait and so forth because talking arguing about what they are going to do to us is a waste of time. We already know.
Fuck the Jews and the Christians and the Muslims. Get down to survival and the rest will take care of itself.

Braveheart has the tone right. Just prep some each day.

What would you do if they shut down the internet and cell phone service.

        • What would I do,massage thumb after loading many magazines, decide that I can now have a drink, and be as ready as possible for whatever comes my way,see something that angers me may go to the problem, probably die, take a few evildoers with me no matter who they are.

      32. FALSE FLAG ?????????????????

      33. we have been hunting trapping & fishing for decades. Its easy to decimate the game in a area if you just kill the young. pretty soon the old quit producing and die off. I figure my clan will need ten square miles to hunt on.

        • Wonder if this is the idea behind abortion, depopulation.

      34. Off Topic…

Hope everyone affected got the message and there is NO chaos in NY grocery stores this weekend.

Food stamp system to go down across New York this weekend

“The system will go down at midnight and isn’t expected to come back online until noon Sunday.”

“It’s being shut down so the state can switch to a new company to run the program. It will take at least 12 hours to do the switch.”

“The state was forced to make the vendor switch, according to a release, because there were no more extensions on the current contract.

This weekend was chosen because the third weekend of the month is usually the lightest in food stamp transactions.”

        Drudge Report

        • The baboons will riot,
          Just sayin

        • I saw that, posted on last article, but needs repeating, unless stores put up signs many”collectors”will not know and perhaps get upset.Best part of article was the rush the offices of “collection”may have on Monday if new system doesn’t work off the mark!

          • Looks like things will become ‘interesting’ in NY this weekend.

        • Time to pop some popcorn, sit back and watch the festivities.

Of course if there are any problems, particularly in the NYC metro area, it will be deemed a national emergency.

      35. We will never know the real truth about ebola until it either runs it’s course and dies out or it decimates the world.

Those that pull the strings cannot have a panic on their hands or the economy will collapse and their usury will not be paid. The almighty “dollar” determines policy.

They don’t care about anything else.

Now, get out there and go shopping.

        • @JRS…

“Those that pull the strings cannot have a panic on their hands or the economy will collapse and their usury will not be paid. The almighty “dollar” determines policy.”

Unless…..it’s on their agenda to bring the house down so they can implement their “final solution”….global governance. I think they refer to it as, “Order out of chaos”.

If that is their agenda, then a panic is EXACTLY what they want.

      36. All these videos of rowdy crowds forming and verging on riots in Africa are exactly why martial la would be used. This incredibly stupid behavior would help Ebola spread like wildfire if it was truly air born.

If authorities begin to go house to house for any reason, including collecting firearms you know the epidemic isn’t real, and is just being used as cover, because there is no better way to spread Ebola than to have a SWAT team enter bourse after house, making close contact with hundreds of people and rifling through their property!

A prepper item I want to add is an inexpensive bullhorn, a means of communicating at a safe distance. Useful in many possible scenarios including calling for help, or warning off unwanted contact.

Ebola is spreading in Africa mainly because of incredibly poor hygiene, and ignorance on an epic scale. It could easily jump to India or South America and spread wildly because they have similar problems in their poorest most densely populated areas.

If properly used martial law could save many lives, used improperly, it could lead to civil war!

        • “If properly used martial law could save many lives, used improperly, it could lead to civil war!” –Plan twice, prep once–

At this stage of the game, and based on what our government has been doing the last 30 years or so, I have no reason to believe that they would have any intention of using martial law properly.

Sorry…I just have NO faith in the thugs currently in power.

      37. once something like this happens there is no law…come poking around my place and you die.

      38. Off subject to a degree but went thru a interesting journey today a bit, well,a mans journey in 1944-45 in Europe with the army engineers, these guys not only made things but got in combat/defused bombs/demolished dangerous buildings. He died and his home was being cleaned out and dumpstered,a guy I know found a photo book with all sorts of cool pics of his journey thru Italy and Germany,a little time in France even.A few pics showed a lot of badly damaged towns/cities/a few with uncovered bodies but a lot showed the bright side of things,locals/buildings/great country side and mountain pictures, really was a visual tale,a shame relatives did not feel worth keeping and was dumpster bound,Feel I got to known James a little bit, some old German marks from the inflation era/old postcards and some old clippings of militery news, real interesting.

        • A few years back, I bought a large manila envelope of photographs and negatives of a soldier who was in New Guinea in 1944. No combat photos, so he may have been an engineer or some such duty. There was one photo, a Papuan native squatting in the middle of the Army tent camp, holding the severed head of a Japanese Marine he had brought to sell.

The entire envelope of photos cost me $1 at an estate sale. I pity the people who trash their heirlooms, for whatever reasons they may have.

          • Smokey,I believe most of the veterans didn’t photo the horrors so much, burned in their heads.I believe they photoed things that made em feel at least a little better about their situation.

          • My uncle had a photo album of pictures he took when he was a SeeBee in the south Pacific during WWII.

He’s gone now, and I don’t know what his kids did with the album.

Wish I could see it again.

            • Walt, why not ask, perhaps they could copy the photos and e-mail to ya’s.

              • I don’t even have contact with them anymore. They are in another state. I don’t think I’ve ever even met them. They were their grand-father’s photos…and to be honest, I doubt that they cared much about them.

                • Bummer, tis nice not only to know a bit about family history beyond holiday gatherings and when it comes to history like war important so we don’t forget the damage/horror of war and make careful choices

        • That’s awesome. It’s a shame that the family wasn’t interested in the stories.

When my grandfather was alive, we used to beg him to tell us stories of WWII. While he didn’t tell us everything, leaving many of the grisly details out and unmentioned, he did tell us many stories of the locals, close-calls and funny events.

In his later years, we got him to write some of them down and we transcribed them into small booklet(s)form. Unfortunately, I lost my copy a few years ago and I sure do wish I had it back.. On the bright side, I have an uncle that still keeps those stories, so someday I will be able to have them again.

Those stories are a treasure, I hope your friend can preserve them and pass them along, just as he shared them with you.

          • I have another uncle who was in Europe during WWII. He drove a tank destroyer (had three of them shot out from under him) and was in Bastogne during the Battle of the Bulge….or as he put it….”Hell, we were in Bastogne a week before the 101st ever got there.”

He’s gone now. I miss him.

      39. Listen up:

If you read Mr Hodges’ site regularly, you will have learned what I did:

        – The government owns the patent on the Ebola virus!

        – The vaccine is being funded by Gates and Monsanto!

        – It might be a mandatory vaccine (I will not submit).

Please stop bashing Mr. Hodges and all the hard work he does. Yes, sometimes truth IS stranger than fiction!

        Two last things:

        – Though “infectious”, keep in mind that the Aids virus did indeed get spread EXPONENTIALLY!

        – Ebola is “contagious” and any deniers of its exponentially increasing will hopefully still be alive to admit they were not correct.

And yes, Virginia, Ebola IS part of the one world people’s plan to kill/reduce the population.

Watch your six, because chem trails are everywhere.

        – the Lone Ranger

        • Lone Ranger, I know you mean well and I enjoy your posts, but Hodges doesn’t have any credibility.

          • Based on what?

            • Sorry…but without something to back up your statement, your statement is reduced to something along the lines of a school ground “Is not” Is too” argument.

Tell us ‘why’ you think Hodges has no credibility.

      40. Doctor, my breasts have been sore for “two weeks”, just got back from Hawaii. Had to sit next to a 20 something FAT guy (couldn’t even see my arm rest & he sat next to the exit window). What should I do?

P.S. I know he wouldn’t have fit through the exit window… G5 was going through maint.

      41. If you pay attention we all watch training videos on tv with out knowing it from survivorman on how to survive with little or nothing to storage wars where everyone knows that usefull items can be found in storage lockers down to even the walking dead just think about it with ebola you hemmorage so if you have brain hemmoraging you will be confused and unable to talk and just basic stumble around and confuse the hemmorging pain in your stomach with hunger for food i can go on about tv and what they are prepping us for but you get it so just give it a minute to think about it

      42. prepper shows, storage wars, survivor man shows like 3 of them, naked and afraid, fat men in the woods, even duck dynasty lets you know what all you can eat and how to cook it, reality shows are training videos

        • Naked and Afraid, where do I start? While offering a little insight on some survival techniques, the show glaringly misses the obvious, MAKE SOME CLOTHES OR OTHER COVERINGS to include footwear.

I told my wife when we first became aware of the show that it was only a matter of time before they killed one of the “contestants” and it looks like on this weeks episode (from the teasers I’ve seen) they damn near accomplish it.

        • Naked and Afraid, now there’s a good one. One of the things these people miss time and time again is to MAKE SOME CLOTHES, including some kind of footwear.

It’s only a matter of time until someone gets killed or dies on that show, and judging by this weeks teasers, looks like they about accomplish it.

          • Any Mouse.

If they ever stir up a Killer Bee hive or a Yellow Jacket ground nest they will not do that again. What are these people thinking?

      43. Hate to say it but drop a few ebola infected people into the worst ghettos and most crime ridden parts of the big cities and it would definitely cull the riff raff,,
        am just sayin,
I got no problem with TPTB blocking off these dumps and not letting anyone out till the carcas’ are just bones,
TPTB would be much better off without these people, they suck up resources and produce nothing,
the problem is they cant control folks like us, for the most part we all just want to be left alone, so hey, take your ill gotten millions or billions, buy a big estate, hire some slaves, and mind your own business, not good enough for them, they want to feel powerful,
I got news for your government idiots, your power is an illusion, the only power you have is the power we allow you to excercise, if you push us you may not like the push back, lemmings need not apply.

        • I see a big problem with that, once done with the ghettos(good luck keeping it in)then they come for the non govt. believers/then some other opposition. Why not push to have a country were one can create a job/business without all the taxes/rules/redtape,transition folks off of benefits/allow ALL citizens to defend themselves/stop crony capitalism, tis worse then the ghetto welfare cases by a long shot as supports mic and creates wars for em,a lot better ways to straighten things out.

      44. I’m writing to ask for you and the ppl help, for 3 years me and 55 familys have been raising chickens in a small town in up state ny. now the village where we live wants us to kill our chickens cause they don’t think we should have them. what is going on is not right to us and our familys. I ask that you and the ppl are able to help us to stand up for were rigths. thank you for your time

        • What town? Website?
What you are experiencing is happening everywhere,
My Sister lived in an Ag zoned subdivision and got sued by her neighbor because she had animals,,
          Too many stupid people

        • Get us contact info for the town officials…

      45. How much effort would it take to weaponize a small vial of infected blood? It wouldn’t take much of a charge to send blood coated shards of glass flying. They could be launched from slingshots.

      46. Yeah, keep watching the NFL, nothing else going on in the world, right?

        • You mean the anti 2nd amendment group/pro mic,no thanks.

      47. “My accomplishments as Secretary of State? Well, I’m glad you asked! My proudest accomplishment in which I take the most pride, mostly because of the opposition it faced early on, you know… the remnants of prior situations and mindsets that were too narrowly focused in a manner whereby they may have overlooked the bigger picture and we didn’t do that and I’m proud of that. Very proud. I would say that’s a major accomplishment.”
        – Hillary Rodham Clinton 11 March 2014

Could someone please tell me what she said?
She WILL be running for President!

River Rat at the ready!!! NOMI///MOLON LABE!!!
        TSORIITA/GPTDY!!

      48. EV-D68 Flu. I know two people (adults) that have had it took them one week to get over the body aches and fever., and a second week to get over not having any energy.
I looked into it and they both said that they had kids come home from school with it. It only took them just little over a week to get rid of the whole thing. Both told me that they had some new kids in school that had a hard time speaking English.
So it is not just kids getting this adults get it also.

Brake us down with EV-D68 then break out EBOLA!

        Sgt.

      49. Good Morning SHTF.

I don’t know if it is me or not but the past articles are out sync so to say. Just feels odd to me.

One question to ask is, What is the threat level to your home and family. Then what steps are you taking to reduce that threat.

Looking past the initial exposure and infection of the general public, the next threat is people who try to invade your home. It is one thing to fight off a healthy intruder and another if one is carrying a deadly disease. Insure you main entrance is solid and your windows have secure locks or jam sticks. You sliding glass door and garage door are a big problems. Can you lock your yard gates? Simple motion detectors as early warning. Extreme measures is the use of razor or barbed wire. A simple thin board across the planks (center run) of privacy fence can stop the kicking out of planks for entry or exit. Installing carpet tack tracks can keep from getting a hand hold on top of fencing.

Because of where you live you may have to be more innovative and creative to solve a big problem of home invasion. Imagine a sick intruder inside your home.

        • Im running a pair of hot wires around our property on the existing fence, did an experiment backfeeding a transformer hooked directly to the wire, got a reading of 14,543v, think that will do?

          • Kulafarmer.

I have great respect for electricity being bit a few times in my life. Having seen when it arcs and sparks is something. A fellow hunter was driving down a rough road when the battery brace broke and lodge between the engine and the truck frame. Contact was made. Then crackling sounds and smoke come out from under the dashboard. Luckily the truck did not catch fire but it was a Redneck fire drill. Serious at first but we laughed about it later.

            • Kula,in regards with “Think that will do”what do you want to do,roast marshmallows?!

      50. There is an article today at globalresearch.ca on this very same subject, and it says a lot of the same things that Dave Hodges article states…plus, more, and a lot of good links. The writer is a West Point graduate..military service, and a masters degree in clinical psychology…

He references history and some of the terrible things that the U.S. military has done regards, experimenting on people, including its own citizens… Remember the anthrax letters the people in Congress, etc rec’d, when the vote came up after 911, for “war” etc…? If I recall correctly, it was traced to a military lab. Also, the nanothermite that was in the dust of the collapsed (destroyed) towers, according to research at “architects and engineers for 911 truth”… was “military grade”..(nanothermite, having the power to “cut through” the steel beams, for “controlled demolition”…)

Anyway, this article is worth reading… titled “ebola: a weapon of mass destruction”…. http://www.globalresearch.ca/the-ebola-virus-pandemic-a-weapon-of-mass-destruction/5394976

        • SUNSHINE

          Super resource lead. Thank you.

I also found their article “The Global Crisis: Food, Water and Fuel” quite interesting.

      51. What do they serve for lunch at those camps? Yummy.

      52. What comes out of Africa? Ebola, Ebonics, Egad. Yikes!

      53. The suppression of gold and silver continues. How can the S&P continue to rise? In reality it cannot. The “market” is non-existant. We are in a manipulated planned economy, where the goyim are systematically relieved of existing and future assets in one last bubble before our masters head to their West Bank penthouses. Ebola will break out when the dollar collapses. I heard Sears may be gone by the first of the year, with 250,000 more retail jobs gone. Ebola is breaking out only in nations with assets that Soros and his boss Rothschild want, such as the copper and iron ore regions of West Africa. With the Black Africans dead, they can bring in Israelis, Indians and Paks to run the strip mines. With us dead, they plan on the same here. Look for the outbreak as soon as the U.S. banks start falling over. They need us for Syria and the Ukraine; and to do Iran since Israel barks a lot, but can barely handle Palestinians in the Gaza shooting gallery. I would expect another year at least. Martial law is not yet required, because many Americans are still controlled by Ziomedia. Ask your neighbor, and they will tell you that we and Israel are democracies, defending our way of life against Muslim hordes – that is if they give a shit about anything besides football and reality TV. They will buy that line of shit until the Bolsheviks board up their churches with the Israeli flag still inside. Martial law and Ebola will come after the globalists are finished using us.

      54. I have a problem with the author’s rendition of using Russian UN troops on US soil to help our military with Ebola or any quarentine of a serious outbreak when Russia has grown quite cold to helping us at all because of the Ukraine conflict and Putin’s expansion agenda. If we have the pandemic, Russia would be too busy with their own pandemic to bother sending troops here, even if we were good buddies.

        • I was thinking the same thing. I generally tend to think that UN forces would not be deployed on US soil if for no other reason than it would create unnecessary tension among US citizens. If “peacekeepers” came from anywhere it would likely be traditional allies like Canada, Australia, the UK or New Zealand. Yes, there are joint US/Russian training exercises, but I think these are more political in nature than meant for actual deployment of Russian or (insert nation here) troops on our soil. This doesn’t mean I trust the UN. They do some good around the world, but they have done enough harm that they should never be trusted.

          • Winston:

The last I checked the UN is the scurge of the earth. Their Agenda 21 plans; depopulation plans, etc., all fly in the face of what any good you seem to think they have done.

Their soldiers will be part of the forces imported here to enforce martial law in America.

To tell us to not trust those buzzards is an understatement to say the least. Who do you think is pushing the anti-gun disarmament agenda, and why. You know, the bill the senate just got through defeating by a very narrow margin; the bill to give the UN the ability to disarm us.

The UN wants all nations to be disarmed and then you will see their full blown agenda; THE ONE WORLD ORDER, headquartered in the UN.

With any luck at all, Winston, you will still be healthy enough to be one of their slaves; otherwise it will be “off with your head”.

            • I am not defending the UN. However, this is another one of those nuanced points that you have to think about to get. When you look at any social program, you can always find some instance of an individual that has legitimately been helped by them, no matter how big a colossal failure it has been as a whole. This is the good I refer to. It is quite rare to find anything in this world that is universally evil. However, it is quite common to find things that, as a whole, average out evil.

              • Please give me an example of the UN doing good, Winston.

Your reply is rather lame, to say the least.

Where do you draw the line between a little evil and a lot of evil?

Do you believe in the One World Order? All evil, and their agenda is being pursued through the UN.

There will be NO peace as long as that bought and paid for, corrupt organization is left standing.

      55. It’s fun to get on this site every once in a while and read about the fairy tales that are “supposed to occur”. They were “supposed” to occur many years ago and guess what? Still nothing. All you conspiracy theorists and NWO weirdos need to stop with these websites making people believe all the bullshit propaganda you spew. Jeez. Annoying as hell.

        • Then don’t come to the website and read it.

          Simple!

      56. The difference between there and here is, we will shoot back.

      57. Good, the best thing possible would be damn good pretext to kick the holy shit out of these people. Round up all the club of rome scumbags, their masters, and have a nice quick fair trial.
