Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has published a bizarre op-ed in the Wall Street Journal claiming that Saudi Arabia has been a guarantor of stability in the Middle East and a bulwark against “expansionist” Iran. Perhaps he forgot about Saudi support for jihadists in Syria and the Saudi destruction of Yemen? Is carrying water for the murderous Saudi kingdom in the Middle East really the best way to demonstrate “American values,” as Pompeo claims? We break down Pompeo’s neocon screed in today’s Liberty Report:

  1. Beaumont says:

Except, when they want to vivisect people to the sound of music.

    • john stiner says:

I have never heard Arabian music being played by Arabians.

It is always someone like the Philadelphia Harmonic symphony, but never Arabs.

Arabs are way too stupid to be able to play a serious instrument.

      • Beaumont says:

In the Los Angeles market district and the jihadist call to prayer, from their minarets. Dancing, etc, is usually considered idolatrous, but their scriptures are put to music, on bad speakers.

Music, like food and ideology, from the world over, has been whitewashed, idealized, civilized. There is no “noble savage”, without a business concern or the presence of trade or interbreeding, in all of my misadventures and all of my reading.

    • 0010101 says:

+this kind of ignorant trash is the reason why we are finished as a country..Arabs have contributed many things to society and not all are muslim!! +there are a great and many Arabs that are Christian and were the ones that started Christianity!~you idiots are probably going to say that all blacks are on welfare and sell crack too…

  2. Stuart says:

This author has a most innocent and naive view of the “way the world is”. He must be a liberal. Muslim sects are going to fight. They always have and they always will. Countries don’t have friends, countries have interests. Sometimes those interests are in conflict. Sometimes those interests change. This administration understands these things. This administration is composed of grown-ups. The last administration in comparison was composed of children. They set an area from Libya to Syria on fire.

    • john stiner says:

Muslim sects are going to fight.

right. If the Muslims ever united in any significant way, Israel would be gone in about a day.

      There are BILLIONS of Muslims.

      • Beaumont says:

Secular Jews win fights with trivial, leftover, garbage equipment, then, claim a miracle — like the Jews in the Bible who win, in spite of embarrassing circumstances, which noone should want to record.

Later, to originate more intellectual and corporate property.

      • the blame-e says:

If the Muslims ever united, Europe would be gone in about a day and a half. The destruction of the West would be delayed by at least one call to prayer.

        • TheGuy says:

          Now that you mention it.

Everyone says “handing China contracts for our military tech is suicide…”

How about running all our military tech on oil?

Didn’t Ford have a nuclear powered car way back in the day? And that was a mere prototype.

Yeah, we’d all glow in the dark. But somehow the tech in the “Fallout” universe makes kind of a shit ton more sense viewed through this lens.

  3. The Deplorable Renegade says:

The only reason the US has ever had anything to with Saudi Arabia is OIL. Now we supposedly don’t get as much oil from there as we used to. We need to get out of the Middle East altogether. All the hijackers on 9/11 were supposedly Saudis. I’ve never had any use for any Muslims and never will. Let all those different groups wipe each other out. Maybe it’ll help the world become a better place.

    • Anonymous says:

No one is going to get out of the middle east.

In reality. more and more peoples and nations are going to be inextricably drawn into it.

    • john stiner says:

exactly, who gives a flying shit about some asshole who got murdered over a newspaper article.

That is what he gets for criticizing a dictatorship that has the ability to kill you without consequence. Besides, it truly had nothing to do with America, it happened in Turkey, so tough shit on that asshole.

      • the blame-e says:

You have to feel sorry for Christine Lagarde, the current Managing Director and Chairwoman of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

There she is, sitting next to the same Saudi crown prince, Mohammed Bin Salman who just recently authorized the killing of dissident journalist (and employee of the fully-owned mainstream media the “Washington Post”), Jamal Khashoggi.

You can just feel Lagarde’s discomfort. “Am I next?” she must be asking herself.

After all, the IMF is an arm of the Globalists (that needs to be cut off), sitting next to the guy that ordered the dismembership of an “Enemy of the People” journalist. You have to like the Saudis just for that.

The whole scene is just so very “touching.”

        • Stuart says:

Due to a wrinkle in the tax laws, Ms. Lagarde’s paycheck is not taxable by anyone. I wouldn’t feel to sorry for her. She’s got about the best job in the world… except maybe for that guy who got to hose down Saddam’s tanks with 30mm fire from his A-10. He had a pretty good job. Or maybe Hugh Hefner… his pay was taxable but the fringe benefits weren’t.

  4. The Deplorable Renegade says:

Stuart, spot on. Libturds DO have the minds of children. Ron Paul always tells the truth.

  5. Darkwing says:

The United States of America do not need the saudis or the jews

    • ^^ The Truth in 12 words. Thanks, Darkwing.

I am AMAZED at the childish historical memory of adult Americans.

The Saudi role in the 9-11 attacks is indisputable, including payments to hijackers in the US, from Saudi royalty.

That some adult Americans want to forget all that is simple proof of what Jung said, human beings can only withstand so much reality.

Many Americans want to continue the comfortable lives they had pre-9-11 and forget about what happened on 9-11.

The US government had clear foreknowledge of 9-11. How else was it announced in local papers in the SF Bay Area, that Cal. politician Willie Brown received explicit warnings, telling him not to fly that week ? Same for Salman Rushdie in England.

Start the future by turning the Saudi Royal Palace into the Saudi Clown Prince Jail.

Then as Israel’s role in 9-11 is uncovered, let America’s Israeli enemies (e.g. Netanyahu) share Riyadh jail space with sexually deprived Saudi princes.

  6. Deplorable Neal Jensen says:

There is only ONE reason that the US and Saudis need each other….to keep the petro Dollar afloat a little longer to help the International Banks execute their take over as the NWO.

End of Story. Pompeo and Trump wrapping that up cleverly into the US flag to make it more palatable…is well…the typically predictable American thing to do. Were we NOT talking in other threads about morals?

I’m all for President Trump and his efforts, but he is limited to working within the established paradigms and right now his methods are palatable with me (when viewed WITHOUT the colored lens of morals). Our country cannot exist in the current paradigm without taking a bended need to the corruption that the Western world actually IS comprised of. To claim you are a moral person and a patriotic citizen of the USA is HYPOCRISY AT BEST. So people should drop the pretense. We are “moral” peoples within the confines of the relatively civil atmosphere we “enjoy” right now, but it is ENTIRELY NBASED in corruption and civil decay moral decay and economic decay that IS cognitively IGNORED because we choose to hide that true but ugly facet of who we are and relative safety and security we have right now. I’m sick of hearing about morals form the US populace, you don’t have any if you are not actively against how murderously criminal and corrupt things REALLY ARE and the wars we are waging on other people in other countries right now.

Why are we in business with the Saudis…because the government and its members HAVE TO BE to keep the Federal Reserve and its through and through corrupt practices and support of the larger corrupt Bank of International Settlements DE FACTO IN POWER. END OF STORY. There is nothing moral in that puppetry and stage act to excuse HOW we do it, as it is all blood money and blood power.

  7. TheGuy says:

The point is your economy will completely collapse.

Deal with the devil. Tiger by the tail.

    But you’re all-in now.

Would you like higher taxes or toilet paper for currency?

Yes, that last is inevitable. Eventually. Want it tomorrow? Literally tomorrow.

  8. reper sleepr says:

Saudi’s invade other countries…..hmmmm sounds familiar

  9. Bert says:

The only thing vital to America is the complete uninterrupted money creation and endlessly growing welfare entitlement payments.

It is vital America doubles the national debt every seven years or Wall Street enters deflationary death spiral.

Since the working class legal citizens won’t multiply, we will just have to import 100 million more refuse-gees to get the debt to double and save Wall Street.
