U.S. President Barack Obama meets with Russian President Putin in Los Cabos

It should be no surprise that, with egg on its face, the U.S. was not going to stand by as Putin commenced bombing ISIS out of existence.

With U.S. leaders up in arms over the targeting of their “CIA-backed moderate rebels,” everyone is stunned at Putin’s reported 40% destruction of ISIS’ entire infrastructure in Syria in one simple week.

No, there had to be a reason to blame Putin, and reclaim the narrative.

Now, just in time, figures from the Pentagon, including Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter, and former U.S. Army vice chief of staff General Jack Keane, have raised the level of rhetoric about the activities of Russia in bombing Syria.

A rationale for opposing Russia’s bombing of ISIS has been manufactured, and is now escalating – with a chorus of criticism citing the reported errors of Putin’s “unprofessional” campaign, as Secretary Carter termed it.

General Keane went much further, dramatically testifying in Congress that ‘Putin has launched a proxy war’ and should be engaged as an enemy:

General Keane is, by the way, the chairman of the Institute for the Study of War, and a lobbyist for war who sits on the board of directors for General Dynamics, and extensive ties to neocon foreign policy wonks such as Frederick Kagan, a member of the notorious Project for a New American Century (PNAC) think tank which shaped the imperial strategies of the George W. Bush Administration.

CNS News reported on Keane’s inflammatory comments:

Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a “proxy war” against the United State when Russian jets bombed CIA-trained rebels in Syria, and the U.S. military should have been ordered to retaliate, former U.S. Army vice chief of staff General Jack Keane said Thursday.

Testifying before the Senate Armed Services Committee, the retired four-star general said retaliatory options could have included bombing the runway of the Syrian airbase being used by the Russians, and establishing and enforcing protective zones.

He said Putin, believing U.S. and European leadership to be weak, “is counting on the U.S. fear of escalation and fear of confrontation to stop any thought of retaliation.”

“Historically, aggression unanswered, has led to more aggression.”

“If we continue to wring our hands and continue to be dominated by fear and opposed to instilling fear, then Russian aggression will not just advance in the Middle East – it will with certainty escalate in the Baltics and eastern Europe,” Keane said.

Moreover, the unconfirmed and perhaps dubious reports that Russian missiles missed their target and hit Iran instead are now being stoked by the American propaganda machine to create the image of Putin as a dangerous leader who simultaneously has a force inadequate to that of the U.S. – and can’t manage a war “professionally” – yet also poses the greatest threat to global order since Hitler.

The world need not be convinced of these arguments, only enough Americans to show support in polls for U.S. forces operating directly in Syria, and meeting Russia on the battle lines as an enemy.

After all, we are now at war with another global power, are we not? Does that mean it has become World War III, or are we waiting for an official pretext and announcement?

        I watched the video and had to comment.

        The guy says that he and his family were among the first people in the world to use the internet, way back in 1996. That’s funny, because I was on the internet at least 2 years before that. I was on it in 1993 and can document being on the internet back to 1994. I have log files of almost all my online activity starting in 1988.

        I joined the first ISP in eastern NC in 1995. I was one of the first 20 or so customers. There were other ways to get to the internet when I first started. The Delphi information service had a gateway that allowed Gopher, Telnet, Finger, Usenet, etc. I could also log into the school system of a neighboring county. Before the internet, I had to use BBS’s and services such as GE, Delphi, and CompuServe.

        The internet in America is not “insulated” from the internet in China. In the 1990s, I could telnet and directly control computers in China, Russian, and many other countries to search for text files. There were thousands of computer systems all around the world that anyone could access parts of, and all you needed was the IP address and perhaps a guest login. Then you could read Phrack and other underground publications.

        What’s “insulated” are some of the government and banking intranet systems. For those systems, you have to physically gain access to wiring closets and tap into wiring harnesses without being detected.

        These young kids making videos today don’t know their computer history. They would freak if they had to use my first computer, a Timex-Sinclair with 8K of internal memory, black-and-white TV monitor, and cassette tape for storage. Or to use my first modem, a 300-baud, which was fine for text, but impossible for even the tiniest graphics. Of course, when I was using that, there was no such thing as a graphical user interface for any of the BBS’s or online services.

    But…..since the U.S. Government does not work in a Constitutional manner and neglect the Laws of this land, these people do not deserve the right to be protected by Constitutional Law.

    Since these people are all for a depopulation program, we the people should start with them first. Shoot these people in the face and let the bleed out and suffer in agony.

    • The use of force by the American people is authorized under the constitution. It is time to do so. The U.S. Government and it’s elected politicians no longer respect the will of the people then the people no longer need to respect or listen to the government.

      Problem is at what level of the government do you start with? The Post Man? The School teachers? County employees? Elected city officials? Park rangers? The list goes on.

      So the question is where do we start? Anybody who has that answer please let me know because I have not figured out who “they” are.

    • There is no flaw in a peaceful protest. It becomes a flaw when the government tells the people that they are engaging in a “illegal assembly”, and the people must leave the premises.

      When the message of a peaceful protest does not work, that is why the 2nd Amendment is so very much important.
      The Founders did not goof up. They made it abundantly clear to dispute disagreements on a peaceful level first, instead of choosing violence first.

      Lone, check out the 9th Amendment such that, those rights not enumerated in the Constitution (the first Eight Amendments) are retained by the people.

      One of those thousands of rights retained by the people is the right to violently defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Forget the “peaceful shit.”

      The defense of the Constitution, like self defense, (another 9th Amendment right) can only be effected using violence.

      And that’s why we have 300,000,000 firearms in the U.S. and billions of rounds of ammo.

    • I almost forgot about all our domestic problems: Gun legislation/restrictions/confiscation/complete disarming of American Public. Releasing six thousand (6,000) violent criminals on the soon to be helpless disarmed public and making room for innocent law abiding citizens who refuse to give up their legally purchased and fully registered firearms. It will be a felony to own a pistol or certain rifle ( eventually all weapons ). I can imagine a future where a license or permit is required in order to own a hammer. This will accomplish two things. First hammers are used in the commission of some murders, secondly it will make it impossible for a person to build on their property without commiting a felony unless they get required permits which, as we know, can be denied or have high fees attached. After a while they will confiscate our knives so get ready the thought police are about to come out of the shadows and commence a nightmare of abuse.

What i have proof of is David Hodges, is right and russians soldiers matiching the physical apprearance of what he has been reporting on, and this fact of life was up in my face over 2 yrs ago, the incident changed my life. It appears that both governments, ours and the russians are working together to kill us, and start wars but are on the same side. They would like us to belive that they are enemies when infact they are not.

    Hopefully i dont have f…k up a russian soldier in my city locally if one of them were to Thread on me again.       As I’ve said before, Dave Hodges can have some decent reports….but an Article that he titled today sounds like the typical ‘Fear Porn that he creates from his “alleged callers / Inside Sources”, and claims it to be 100% proof positive information.

      Now, until Russia / Putin does something wrong on a Humanitarian Level. I am left with no choice but to defend their integrity at this very moment in time.

      But …. you’ll take Dave Hodges word for it as 100% factual information, though your eyes don’t see the proof of a Russian Aggression / Invasion – hearsay can be dangerous to one’s self.

    The dynamics of this war must surely be different. When the US lost in Korea and Vietnam it was the US military against Russian proxies, but this war will be US proxies against Russia itself. One of the few comparisons which can be made is America losing.

    Just to add, the Chinese will have allied with Russia because both know Washington wants to neutralize them but neither could know who the US would come up against first. Seems it’s Russia. The Chinese have a saying, “Build a golden bridge over which your enemy can retreat.” I think Russia and China will try to find a way out for the US to withdraw from war without losing face; I think they may agree to not pursue war crimes charges. It is perhaps the only way to prevent US leaders from going nuke.

      Wishful thinking Russia and china have done this dance before after wwll they know the mistakes they smell fear and weakness in the USA and I really don’t think they will miss this oppertunity to once and for all put the USA in its place I do believe they will leave us in tact as not to be directly responsible for a humanitarian crisis. But I do think america Canada and Mexico will all suffer and be weaker. Canada and mexico not so much we haven’t poked the bear that hard. Personally I’d see that as treason in my government. And would promptly denounce Harper and his cabinet. I think your gonna get bloodied and bruised but will ultimately survive as a country. They will make sure it takes decades before the USA tries to lift its head again

            Sorry, but the majority of Americans in this country have already given in to compliance of the Governments will.
            The people should of banded together a long time ago, before the stuff that we are witnessing today.

            The point I was making, is that the majority of Americans are not going to fight for ‘Freedom, they will submit to the Authority! America has become PUSSIFIED beyond belief, and the division between Races & Religion are skyrocketing. There is no UNITY in this country, how are we as Americans suppose to get on the same page with one another?

            I see things as realistically as possible in this World. I do not put my heart and mind into faith and optimism to derail me from reality.

            What I said in my previous post may sound “un-Patriotic” to some, but then those folks should ask themselves.

            We have a rogue Government gone wild and a bunch of clueless Sheep who rather be entertained with Reality Shows and Sports, then recognized their surroundings.

            I’ve accepted the fact that America is gone, and there is nothing to save or return it to it’s Republic Form of Governance. That Sir, is the Reality we face. We as Prepper’s are truly on our own. All you are going to have to protect is yourself, your family, and like minded people around you when the Storm arrives.

                If a scenario was to happen – no, I would not want them to instill their laws here, but to help restore ours since practically nobody here wants to do it.

                HOWEVER, the U.S. decided to go “help” people who didn’t want their help.

                With that in mind, why shouldn’t any other country decide to come over and “help” us?

                You can’t have it both ways — either it’s okay or not okay to interfere in the internal issues of another country…theirs OR ours.

    My fear is for the civilian populations. Countries such as Canada have populations that are nowhere near psychologically capable of handling real war. If the country sustained real, serious casualties (not the one or two that was drip fed during the war in Afghanistan) but hundreds each day like in real war, the population would freak. Western populations are already heavily divided by race and ethnicity; how is that going to hold up in real war? Who is going to trust putting a weapon in the hands of a Muslim soldier drafted into the military? We are not dealing with the society of the WWII generation.
