New Bill Aims To Rewrite Second Amendment: Would Require Gun Owners To Have Liability Insurance

New York House Representative Carolyn Maloney has introduced a new bill that would force gun owners to have liability insurance or face fines of up to $10,000.

According to Maloney the stipulations in The Firearms Risk Protection Act would curb gun violence, much like car insurance has lowered vehicle fatalities because gun owners would be more careful.

“We require insurance to own a car, but no such requirement exists for guns,” Maloney said in a statement. “The results are clear: car fatalities have declined by 25 percent in the last decade, but gun fatalities continue to rise.”

Maloney said auto insurance carriers incentivize drivers to take precautions to reduce accidents, but no such incentives exist for firearm owners.

“An insurance requirement would allow the free market to encourage cautious behavior and help save lives,” she said. “Adequate liability coverage would also ensure that the victims of gun violence are fairly compensated when crimes or accidents occur.”

Of course, the likelihood that insurance policies are responsible for the 25% drop in car fatalities is almost zero. Rather, as noted by the Insurance Institute For Highway Safety and people with even a smidgen of common sense, it’s probably more likely that improved vehicle design and safety features are responsible for the large decrease:

They found that vehicle changes — including improved structural designs, the addition of safety features and an evolving mix of vehicle types — were the main source of declining risk from 1993 through 2006.

But common sense goes out the window with politicians, raising the question of whether a bill should be introduced requiring politicians to get liability insurance before entering their respective legislative houses before they do further damage to Americans’ Constitutionally enumerated natural rights.

Case in point: Rather than liability insurance to lower the rate of fatalities from criminal gun usage, Congress should look to the car industry for solutions. Improving the safety of citizens, for example, could be accomplished by giving them free access to body armor, as opposed to the nationwide ban proposed earlier this year.

But that would just make too much sense. So, akin to stopping global warming with increased taxes and carbon credits, which do nothing but enrich carbon exchange management firms operated by people like climate change spokesperson and internet creator Al Gore, if you are a politician, especially in the liberal state of New York, the only possible solution would be to make people pay more money for the privilege of providing for their own personal defense.

Apparently, the intent of the Founding Fathers for the Second Amendment has been misconstrued for years and should have read:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed, so long as they have a government issued permit, maintain an active trigger lock, do not carry it on their person unless authorized to do so by their State of residence, and can prove they possess an up to date liability insurance policy.

To suggest that gun owners are not already incentivized to be responsible with their firearms is ridiculous on its face, considering there are hundreds of laws on the books designed specifically for people who commit murder or even accidental manslaughter. The legal mechanisms for those acting criminally or negligently with a firearm already exist. If you kill or injure someone with malicious intent or by accident you face prison time and/or financial damages to be seized from your personal wealth to compensate victims.

At every turn and on every level anti-gun politicians are attempting to supplant the U.S. Constitution. They will use any excuse and take every opportunity – including but not limited to restrictions on popular ammunition and all out import bans on guns – in their effort to disarm the American people.

              They already pulled this crap with cars. they made auto insurance mandatory, making it next to impossible for poor and financially struggling people to drive. Then they expanded bike paths and other laws accommodating riding a bike to work. Agenda 21 doesn’t want people being able to drive, so these laws doomed a large percentage of people to public transportation, biking or walking.

              But it made so much sense with auto insurance, didn’t it? At least to the people who can afford it and still be able to afford a car and the tags, gas and maintenance, etc… To those who had never been involved in an accident of any kind, it didn’t make much sense to add another financial burden.

              They also used this tactic with cigarettes. they keep taxing them so that poor people can’t afford them, putting them out of many people’s reach. They claimed that was for their own good also, and since many people don’t smoke, everybody was all for it because it didn’t affect them.

              Just like anything else the govt does, IF YOU LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT ONCE because it didn’t affect you, THEY’LL DO IT AGAIN, AND AGAIN, until it touches YOUR life too.

              Learn your lesson this time, and oppose ALL laws that financially burden certain segments of society, even if you’re not one of them…

              Next time, it might be YOUR TURN, just like in this case.

                  Similarly, DickMorrisTV.com, in his Feb. 7th, 2013 video entitled “Guns Up, Homicides Down,” noted that from 1987 to 2013, the percentage of Americans owning guns has risen from 36% to 46% – while at the same time deaths are down during that same time by 42%. Hardly the “epidemic” of gun violence the left is blathering about.                   The other lie is that there is a $10,000 fine for driving without liability insurance. That’s BS, it’s generally about as much as a few months coverage, sometimes even just one month. Ramp it up to ten grand and I wonder how many idiots would drive without insurance.

                • It matters not where she gets her money, what matters is that she is a TRAITOR to the USA, to the American people, to the US Constitution from which the office she is currently occupying gets its authority and to what she swore a solemn and lawfully binding Oath to support and defend.               • Yep. Don’t even let them get away with it once as you say. Ive seen it many times over the years. Even at the beginning it seems like a very good Idea to go after criminals. Then it is slowly used against everyone.
                However Im not totally against the Idea of insurance. Id like to see politicians have to get insurance and a license before being able to run for office.

And they’ll get away with it. And we’ll let them. And once they get the power they never give it back. Try convincing your gov’t to do away with seat belt laws, and mandatory insurance laws, etc. etc. Btw I’ve always wondered who the big dog at safe auto is that must know somebody in gov’ts. Because you know all these cheaper insurance companies have been making a killin. Imagine the money they’d invest in a campaign to keep mandatory insurance if we could ever get politicians or chicken shit governors to actually do anything about them.

We quit because of taxes “that would encourage people go quit smoking”.       Arms are explicitly mentioned in the Bills Of Rights.
      Cars (or other transportation) are not mentioned in the Declaration Of Independence, Articles Of Confederation, the Constitution, the Bill Of Rights or any other amendment.
      On face value it appears to be someone inside the beltway trying to enforce their point of view (by gunpoint or other means of force).

      Fortunately the only way this law could be enforced is if the right to own guns becomes a privilege and not a right. Somewhere along the way, Americans allowed the govt to tell us that traveling was a privilege not a right. When that happened, they then convinced us that a drivers license was required to travel across town. Someday maybe, but not likely, we will realize that the only people required by constitutional law to get licenses and insurance are commercial transport drivers. The rest do not.

        It only takes one blackmailable Supreme to get anything you want to get declared constitutional as constitutional, and compromised politicians aren’t going to appoint non blackmailable judges to start with.

        And, of course, the majority of Congress is already blackmailable so there is always a go along to get along theme for the PTB so they can get anything they want made into law in the first place (think Hastert and the other sell out Republicans and how Barney Frank actually ran a homosexual prostitution ring out of his office and such.         Why would anybody want to make a target out of themselves my maintaining their body mass after SHTF? Especially since that doesn’t mean you’d maintain your mental faculties, reflexes and stamina. It takes more than just looking big to defend yourself.

        I plan on losing weight and blending in as much as possible, without actually starving.

          As a man it makes perfect sense to me to bulk up my body with extra muscle and some fat too. Sometimes men need to be able to lift and move heavy items, as well as turn wrenches to loosen and tighten bolts in confined spaces, and other sorts of tasks that are more easily accomplished with extra muscle. Neither reflexes, stamina, nor mental faculties are adversely affected by exercise; there is plenty of exercises in all aspects of my life to keep those sharp.

          When it comes to muscle, it’s better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

      A more recent 2013 was commissioned by the Obama administration via one of his 23 executive orders, asking the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the National Research Council and other federal agencies to identify the “most pressing problems in firearms violence.” The report, titled Priorities for Research to Reduce the Threat of Firearm-related Violence, came to the opposite conclusion of what the gun grabbers had hoped for, finding – similar to the studies above -gun ownership saves lives, and those having a gun at their disposal during an encounter with criminal activity improve their chances of survival and reduce their chance of injury. That means that our elections are under our power as to how we elect, the counts, the verifications, etc – those that serve within our governments are only LAWFULLY allowed to set the day/times of the elections. Nor are the allowed to determine who is qualified, that goes to the US Constitution.

        – “Good Behaviour” requirement of all judges – state and federal so that we are to *investigate, charge, prosecute before a jury trial the judges that are not using “Good Behviour” while they are in office.

        — US Constitution, Article III, Section 1: “The judicial Power of the United States shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour,…”
        — The US Constitution assigns what all judges, state and federal, must do to be allowed to stay in a judicial position, they are:
        —– Required to take, and keep an Oath(s), or a combined Oath.
        —– Required to “support and defend” the US Constitution and all that is in Pursuance thereof it before the duties of the office they occupy.
        —– Required to carry out the enumerated duties assigned to the judicial branch by the US Constitution in a constitutional manner.

        That is “Good Behaviour” for judges.

        — Militia
        Those that serve within our governments are FORBIDDEN to —– Create a “standing” (permenant), military;

        —– They are forbidden to create a governmental professional law enforcement – state or federal. Any such LE – state or federal – is only LAWFUL here in our nation when they take and KEEP the Oath as an allowance by the peole to LET them do our assigned Militia duties as our replacements. They MUST always do the duties assigned to the Militia and keep the OATH FIRST and foremost to have any lawfulness behind their activities.

        —– The only crimes assigned to the federal government in the Constitution for law enforcement purposes are Treason, Piracy, Counterfeiting, and International law violations.

        This is NOT under any authority of those that serve within our governments;
        Constitution of the United States of America, Second Amendment: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

        Matter of fact, instead of using governmental professional law enforcement and keeping a standing military those that serve within our governments – state and federal – are REQUIRED to use the Militia. That was for our safety, it prevented the use of the military and LE’s against the people that history has shown is ALWAYS used against their own people.

        Tench Coxe: “Who are the militia? are they not ourselves. Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man against his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birth-right of an American… The unlimited power of the sword is NOT in the hands of either the federal or state governments but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people.” (caps are mine)

        —– US Constitution, Article 1, Section 8, Clause 11: “To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water”.

        ——– This is using private citizens in their own privately owned crafts to defend the USA and her people, this is using the Militia.

        —– Clause 12 specifies that there shall be no military beyond that of two years. The Militia of each state is charged with our nations defense here within the USA until and unless the congress has declared war and a military is raised: “To raise and support Armies, but no Appropriation of Money to that Use shall be for a longer Term than two Years”.

        —– Clause 15: “To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel invasions.

        This clause is very straightforward also. The militia of each state is taxed with the defense of the USA and her people, not just with the defense of their state; and they are to be armed with weapons that can repel any invasions bearing modern weapons of war. Congress is required to provide those military grade weapons for the militias in Clause 16.

        —– Clause 16: “To provide for organizing, ARMING, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress”.

        So who is the Militia of the several states under as a “boss”, the US Constitution and all that is in Pursuance thereof it always; but when needed can be used by the state or federal governments.

        John Adams, A Defense of the Constitutions of the United States 475: “To suppose arms in the hands of citizens, to be used at individual discretion, except in private self-defense, or by partial orders of towns, countries or districts of a state, is to demolish every constitution, and lay the laws prostrate, so that liberty can be enjoyed by no man; it is a dissolution of the government. The fundamental law of the militia is, that it be created, directed and commanded by the laws, and ever for the support of the laws.”

        Alexander Hamilton, Federalist Papers 28: “The militia is a voluntary force not associated or under the control of the States except when called out; [when called into actual service] a permanent or long standing force would be entirely different in make-up and call.”

        We are even required and advised to keep our own manufacturers of “essential, particularly military, supplies” because the founders knew that those attracted to serve within goverments are easily corrupted.

        George Washington: “A free people ought not only to be armed, but disciplined; to which end a uniform and well-digested plan is requisite; and their safety and interest require that they should promote such manufactories as tend to render them independent of others for essential, particularly military, supplies.”

        — Grand Jury

        “The grand jury is mentioned in the Bill of Rights, but not in the body of the Constitution. It has not been textually assigned, therefore, to any of the branches described in the first three Articles. It is a constitutional fixture in its own right. In fact the whole theory of its function is that it belongs to no branch of the institutional government, serving as a kind of buffer or referee between the Government and the people”.

        “Thus, citizens have the unbridled right to empanel their own grand juries and present “True Bills” of indictment to a court, which is then required to commence a criminal proceeding.         There is so much more that one must know, but mostly to realize that it is OUR duty to keep those that serve within our governments in line with the US Constitution and strictly enforce the contract that they are serving under.

Besides, N.Y. her home state, is either number 7 or 8 of the bluest states in the country. The rights one is guaranteed under the “constitution” is the sum total of laws as contained in the U.S. code of laws, your state code of laws, your local town ordinances, and if you rent, your landlord/homeowner’s association laws.

      Each one of us has a different “constitution” of which we are subject to. The sooner everyone grasps on to that concept, the better off we’ll be.

      If you don’t want to revolt, then change things at the local level, then the state level. We need to get every town ansd state on the same page before we can even begin to think of changing things at the federal level.

      We have all been snookered by the fox news, msnbc news, cbs, cnn, and abc news. They project the illusion that Washington is right outside our doorstep…and that we have a say…..when in reality, we have no say. the best you can do is fight at the state and local levels.

      Forget about that founding document called the constitution. It doesn’t exist anymore. Only when you rip apart the state and local layers of oppression can you then begin to restore the concepts of a great country that the founders envisioned.

        Yes I am still alive! And I firmly believe it is only due to the Good Lord Christ answering my and several others, including Pissed off Granny’s, prayers for me…When last april of 2014 I had to undergo my first ever surgery. I had what was supposed to be a routine normal orthopedic scope type surgery to remove a cancer tumor inside my bladder…Once done my surgeon dr told me he has done over 1000 such procedures in the past 25 yrs of being a surgeon, and he had never prior seen so large of a cancer tumor like mine was…

        He told me there are Three layers in the bladder, and usually the entire operation takes just aprox 30 minits. Mine took close to Three Hours!…Due to the cancer had spread into the third final layer of bladder, and if I had waited just one or two months longer it would have gone thru third layer and into surrounding abdomen mussles etc…Then its a certain fast death within 3 to maybe 4 or sometimes 6 months left to live.

        After surgery I underwent 6 weeks chemo treatments, and must go back every three months for a urology scope exam for two yrs, then every 6 months scope inserted into bladder exam, then “if” I make it to 5 years still alive(?) I can just return once per year for rest of my life to do another bladder scope exam so doctor can check for any return growth etc…

        All in all its been now, aprox 13 months since surgery and thank the Lord and His prayer answers to me I have so far remained okay with zero return or tumor growth.

        This event has radically changed my thinking on preps etc…I have said prior I been prepping supplies, moved up north Mich on 10 acres etc etc over 20 yrs ago.

        And for a long while now have thought I am stocked well enough and no matter what one preps or does theirs zero gaurenttes in this world/life…”They will be Hideing in the mountains, thier Gold will be Taken, and tossing silver into street as its ‘rust’ only burns their hands and evil minds etc etc”

        Instead of a plan to dive deep into some hidden hiddy hole as many folk promote….I bought a very nice 2009 Z-06 Corvette with just over 6000 orig miles and had it shipped to here, mich from Houston,TX. and am going to LIVE life and ENJOY it more than I ever did prior.

        Being single, alone, zero kids etc..I do Not need store enough canned spagettie sauce to last 874 years, nor stash enough cash or gold or silvers etc to become filthy rich “If” any of the many tons of prepper type Fiction scenario books come true and an oz of gold rises to $50,000 per oz…Thats pure utopian Fantasy or pure greed lust or both…You get One life right…May as well enjoy a bit of it instead of being a miser like horder depriving self of nice stuff like a vette or harley or whatever You prefer or dream to own one day..

        I only drove it about 400 miles total so far but must admit the Z-06 Corveete is a total new Experience compared to ANY other vehicle including 1970 mussle cars I had plenty of also…the Z-06 is a True Super car akin to a ferarri and porshea but costs only aprox 1/3rd to a 1/2 of those type super cars…the Z-06 has Won at least 16-Globalwide LeMans 24 hrs races,in a Row! and too many lesser worldwide races to list here. Top speed is 198 MPH!

        Just over 3 seconds zero to 60 mph, six-piston front brake calipers, four piston rear brakes…rear tires are just over a Foot wide! front tires just over 10 inch wide…And with brand new set Mischelin super sport 2’s on it, you can take a normal 35mph corner at speeds close to 90 mph! And never lose its grip. It feels like rideing a scalpel connected to Rails like RR train rails!

        Plus imho the overall fit and finish is better than a Ferrari that costs way over my budget….Best “Present” to Me I ever did so far…Just wish I did it sooner.

        PS: Pissed Off Granny, and all the other several folk whom prayed for me last year….Thank you from the very bottom depths of my heart…I shall always cherish knowing you weather I continue to beat this ailment or do not….so far so good and if I can beat the cancer for 5 years docs tell me thats when they consider it “kinda” cured for good…I guess they never actually declare a person “cured” once diagnosed with any type cancer…But they did tell me if you can make it past 5 yrs its a very good sign its gone for good!

        Indeed the Lord Christ has been very Good to me!! I probobly would have gone that xtra 1-2 months if not for the prayers etc…Then I’d be long dead by now.

          I think the days of Corvettes and the thrills of living the middle age crisis days should be over for us old farts. Time is just about up.

          I went through mine with an ’84 vette, back in ’96. Two years later and i was out about 1500.00 more bucks, and someone else got the darned thing for what I originally paid for it. I got a couple cheap thrills and got to ride around with the top off and cruising around with a couple different baby dolls in the passenger seat, just to show off.

          I’m sure the newer models have a better ride, but mine was like a darned buck board wagon. You couldn’t give me another one.

    First, let’s get one thing clear. I know of no “law” that requires you to have insurance to OWN a vehicle, as this clown states. MOST,BUT NOT ALL STATES require insurance to OPERATE a vehicle. ALSO, how many times have you heard the “people in charge” tell you that driving a vehicle on public roads is a PRIVILAGE and not a right!       That “right” has been regulated since the original NFA was passed into law back in 1937.

      It is now 80 year old established law legitimizing government controlling and limiting your rights to own firearms that has provided legal basis for all sorts of other laws in this regard and will continue to provide more (which is why this would be considered legitimate if passed).

      Expanding the Roberts decision that made Obamacare penalties a tax and not a fine (people need to understand the implications of this, it was not about Obamacare and it will still leave that loophole open for anything and everything else even if Obamacare were to be tossed out) the liability insurance law could be set up to allow you to ignore it if you are willing to pay, say, $10,000 a year in taxes for the privilege of owning an uninsured gun and it would be considered legal.

      Possessing an untaxed (uninsured) gun would carry the same penalties as possessing an untaxed machine gun or howitzer does now – 19 grand fine and 10 years in prison with a felony record prohibiting any future possession as well (yes, you can legally own your own artillery, you just have to pay a 200 dollar tax on it the same as with a machine gun or “silencer”).

        Actually it was 1934 which is known as NFA34

        It really started in 1928 when mail order handguns ceased.

        The second round of Federal Gun Laws came in 1938 forbidding convected felons from firearm possession.

        Next came GCA68 which stopped mail oder of all firearms and no purchase across state lines along with a large ban of imported “non sporting” firearms. Machine guns were redefined and with it a one month amnesty period. Smart were the DWAT gun owners that registered because they could then be legally (with paperwork) be made operational.

        In 1986 some of the restrictions in GCA68 were lifted but a freeze was put on machine guns. Interstate transpiration was federally codified as an affirmative defense to State Law if one strictly fell under its provisions. New Jersey has been having an issue with this as they believe they’re a nation into themselves.

          The winners not only write history, they control what is being taught about it and how as well.       Open carry is a step in the right direction. Being a CHL holder for many years the one thing I have always been paranoid of is accidently allowing my gun to be seen. If my firearm was accidently exposed from under my jacket or shirt, I would have been guilty of a felony and potentially convicted and jailed. With open carry passing, I at least won’t have this to worry about anymore. I personally will NOT open carry. Open carry gives a potential criminal a heads up and thus they can plan accordingly, the guy openly showing a firearm will be taken out first. Always take out the biggest threat first. If you are carrying concealed you will be considered less of a threat to the criminal, now the element of surprise is on your side and you end up being the best hope for stopping a criminal because you have that element of surprise. To each their own. If you want to open carry, fine, do it. Just realize you have laid your cards on the table for all to see, both the good guys AND the bad guys.

I think, though, the instance of open carry folks getting taken out versus the number of incidents that simply don’t happen because the bad guy truly doesn’t want to risk a gunfight with a potentially superior adversary is very very small. I haven’t seen any statistics about open carry folks getting shot at crime scenes, and obviously there aren’t recorded details of incidents that don’t happen, but criminals still are afraid of dying of gunshot wounds. They may be stupid, but almost no one is THAT stupid, right?

      Secret: I hope it doesn’t discourage it. I open carry frequently in NC and GA, never had an issue, even at the QT where I stop on the way home and there’s always a deputy there.

      I have discovered, however, that the looks I receive vary depending on if I am wearing camo and haven’t shaved for a few days, or if I’m a shirt and tie. Go figure, right?

      Anyway, if I’m not dressed for the office I just carry concealed. It’s not my intention ever to alarm people or give a black eye to the carry community. Seems to be less and less of an issue, lately though. See more and more open carry, esp in the mountains.

        Yeah, you both make excellent points, my main concern and hope for open carry was like you tex, it would be easier to conceal carry in the summer with out the worry of accidentally exposing it, even though texas eased up on the exposure law last year i think it was, im small and lean, had to get a tiny 9 just to be able to hide one…

        As far as open carry, i never really wear a suit so thats out, ya know maybe when i go to DFW area, camping and hiking with family, fishing stuff like that… Lol i drove to oklahoma one time and went in a store open carrying just to see, it was ignored but i prefer concealed in public.

I guess it is quiet confidence, although I am always running scenarios in my head about “what if this happens, or what if that happens, how will I react?” Occasionally those thoughts go down a road that should never be traveled, although being able to admit to and acknowledge the thoughts helps me get past them.

          I’m kind of at the age of old enough to not lose my temper, and not so old that I shoot my own foot off.

          I will pray that your world improves, and that your nerves have an opportunity to rest and recover. As human beings, we have significant tolerances, but every one of us has a limit. I just try not to expose myself to anything that could test that limit, or has tested that limit in the past (like debt, or crazy relatives).

          Funny how the news lately keeps us all fairly close to the edge of insanity. Is this a new phenomenon, or am I just now noticing it? Sure seems like things are FAR worse than they used to be, and it seems like a non-stop pile-on to wear us out, keep us off balance, and weaken our resolve.     Insurance did NOT stop car accidents….it did help people involved in a accident by someone else to get their vehicle repaired and help with medical bills.
    Car insurance did NOT stop people from dying everyday!

    Gun insurance is just ANOTHER way for the government to start control of OUR guns….keep track of the number of guns….what kind of guns…ect! If one estimates how many guns are owned in the United States and how many people are actually injured/killed by guns….the numbers are really very low!

    What is next….insurance for knives…baseball bats…crowbars…poisons…homemade explosives?

    Why is there so much concern on OUR guns???     They are saying, “You can keep your 2nd amendment but I want protected, just in case”. What the idiots who push for this stuff do not realize or want to admit is that the people who follow the law are not the ones you have to worry about. It has not been that long ago there was a store busted in Cincinnati for selling guns to kids. It would be like some 12 year old walking into a mom and pop owned CVS with money for ‘candy’ and walking out with a brown bag full of 9mm. And I’m not talking M&M candies…. People like that, people who support that kind of thing and are caught, need to be hung.

    Dear SHTF Plan (or relevant site owner): If you want a pic that is going to be used to support / advocate the 2nd Amendment… don’t use a picture that shows poor weapon handling… Finger off the trigger!     I greatly doubt that the fathers of the constitution would have written into the constitution the right to bear arms if it were not for the unique set of circumstances that prevailed at that time. Had they been alive today they would have been disgusted by what the US has turned into as well as the morbid love of guns that Americans have.

    That said I feel that the brunt of all the changes will be borne by decent people who either have a genuine fear for their life or who are genuine sporting enthusiasts or collectors.

      Our US Constitution requires that we have NO standing (permanent) military, and that those who serve within our governments are forbidden to create governmental professional law enforcement. They are REQUIRED by the supreme LAW of this land to use the Militia. The Militia has as its constitutionally assigned duties to:

      – Enforce the US Constitution and each state’s Constitution,
      – Enforce and keep the “Laws of the Union” (which are constitutional laws ONLY),
      – Protect the country against all enemies both domestic and foreign, and

      You are in error, though if it be through education that is lacking, or because you were not taught that education goes beyond school, and is an action one must do for oneself or that person will find theirself being told what to think, and that is what they will do instead of thinking for themselves. Of course, thinking people are a danger to those who serve within governments because they understand or bother to familiraize themselves with the contracts that those that serve are under.

This way you will have representation and also be covered for criminal and civil suits that may arise from the unfortunate time where you may be forced to use your firearm. I also subscribe to the USCCA which will be a back up kind of like a secondary insurance policy for your health insurance. Just a thought.
