matt-drudge-217x300His web site may consist of just a single page, but Matt Drudge is arguably the most influential media personality in the world. Garnering nearly one billion readers monthly, the Drudge Report is able to literally shift public sentiment, making it an essential read for D.C. insiders, Wall Street professionals, and anyone who wants to stay on top of the latest global issues.

If Matt Drudge headlines a story its viral spread to millions of readers in near real-time is guaranteed.

With his established connections to critical spheres of influence that include everything from politics and government to finance and entertainment, when Drudge speaks, people listen.

Over the weekend, as noted by Steve Quayle and Susan Duclos, the self made media behemoth took to his Twitter account with a simple warning consisting of just four words… Have an Exit Plan

    drudge-exit-plan

Drudge included no other details with his Tweet.

The warning, while cryptic, may be the result of direct insider information. Considering he once nearly brought down the Clinton administration by revealing the President’s indiscretions with a White House intern, one could make the case that if anyone has legitimate sources pouring in from across the world it’s Matt Drudge.

Could his warning be for stock market investors regarding foreknowledge of an imminent collapse of financial markets in the United States, China and Europe?

Or has Drudge’s access to insiders in key positions given him the ability to connect the dots for an event that may occur in the near future? Few may recall, but just three weeks ahead of the September 11th attacks, Drudge headlined warnings of possible strikes on US-based targets, so there may well be a credible insider source for his most recent warning as well.

In recent years the mogul has expanded his news distribution service to  include alternative news powerhouses like Alex Jones’ Infowars, which researches and analyzes key events and happenings globally. As of late, Drudge has made it a point to link to a variety of topics at Infowars that include the militarization of America’s domestic policing apparatus, Constitutional transgression at the highest levels of our government, and other insider reports often ignored by the mainstream media. While establishment news media shuns the rapidly growing alternative media, a warning to “have an exit plan” is one that the alternative news sphere has consistently suggested, while often being laughed at in mainstream circles.

Given Drudge’s massive following, reach, and credibility, perhaps we shouldn’t be laughing any more.

Something has spooked Matt Drudge and he’s not alone. Last year one of America’s leading talk show hosts, Mark Levin, warned that the U.S. government has been simulating the collapse of our financial system and society with the potential for widespread violence. There are countless such examples of highly influential media personalities who are issuing similar warnings.

Within the realm of the alternative media, the last several years have yielded incredible insights into the inner workings of the U.S. government, political system and economic machinations. Everything from manipulations of our monetary system to the sometimes unbelievable expansion of the American police state has been extensively studied and reported by thousands of independent journalists, broadcasters and bloggers operating outside of the mainstream establishment’s sphere of influence.

There have been insider reports indicating that a crisis of unprecedented magnitude is coming to the United States. Contrarian economists, who are almost completely ignored by mainstream media, have warned of dire consequences to the continued operation of our systems of commerce, including our domestic food distribution networks. And though it has not been reported on the alphabet news channels, the U.S. military has been actively war gaming collapse scenarios and engaging in highly suspicious exercises across U.S. metropolitan areas.

While Matt Drudge’s latest comments could be referring to anything, given the types of stories he’s covered in recent years we could make the case that he is referring to worst-case scenarios.

His exit plan warning may encompass any number of potential scenarios such as a coming shock to financial markets, evacuating major cities in an emergency, preparing for the destruction of our currency, or having a way to get out of the United States in the event of a Soviet-style purge.

Whatever the case, Matt Drudge understands that his views and comments are followed by hundreds of millions of people worldwide, thus we are confident that he would not publicly issue such a warning unless he has access to credible information that supports his claims.

That being said, we urge readers to remain vigilant. And, in the off chance that some terrible event is in our near future, we strongly suggest having a preparedness plan that includes emergency food storage, barter supplies, medicinesprecious metals, and a strategic relocation plan in case you are forced to evacuate your current residence.

HERE IS SOMETHING POSITIVE TO JUST CONSIDER WITH PREPARATION FOR ANY SHTF EVENT :)

When true chaos slams the fan, will you be ready?

Everyone hears of talk of war, new geophysical events and threats, deadly viruses, collapse of the economy, terrorism, nuclear contamination and much more. So what is the difference now between 10, 20, 50, years ago? This can still happen at a moment’s notice. We are in no way safer now than any previous perilous time in history. There are of course a whole list of other catastrophes that can end the society that we have become much too dependent on. Whatever mega disastrous event(s) eventually hits, which it will given time, how a person and group of people can be better equipped to survive it is what is all important.

There is much advice on preparedness that focuses usually on one set of people being ready for a specific widescale calamity. One may be the urban setting of surviving in the city. Another making it in rural areas. Still another living through a complex wilderness setting. This however does not change what a person and group of people usually needs to live and be prepared for regardless of the disaster.

With most prepper/survivalist you will hear the most important to survival is water, food, ammo, and shelter. Not to harp on what is necessary to and most important to everyone. There are still some other crucial considerations and an expansion of these customary needs to think over and understand that go into productive preparedness and are survival musts no matter the circumstances of what has happened and is happening.

Look at following 10 generalized priorites to survival that should be included in all survival plans:

        1. Number one is staying hydrated. Being out of water will kill people very quickly and the last stages of severe dehydration are ugly to die from. People can store large amounts of water in cisterns. Others have workable wells and some have springs and streams. People stuck in urban settings must rely on storage of water within their homes or apartments, perhaps using cases of bottled water depending on size restrictions. Water filters and means of purfiying water are essential. Catchment areas using tarps for rainfall and learning dew collection is very important. A reliable source of drinkable safe water needs to be planned out before something terrible occurs.

Staying hydrated also means remaining as MOIST as possible. People lose tremendous amounts of water when it is hot and dry. Staying immobile as possible during extremely warm or hot days will help retain body fluids. Eating high protein foods during hot periods uses up more water. Loosely fitting clothes to light colored clothes all helps in minimizing water loss and staying out of direct sunlight. Many people in desert regions also breathe through a lightweight type of clothe to avoid the loss of moisture through the mouth and nose. Misting of skin with spray bottles not only keeps the skin from drying out too much, but helps cool someone through evaporative cooling as long as the relative humidity if not at the saturated level. Don’t get thirsty by trying to ration water, this will become a detriment in the long run to your body, have enough safe clean water by making this a top priority no matter what.

        2. Avoiding hunger. No matter where your refuge is people have to eat to stay alive. What many people that prepare for emergencies don’t do is stock up with good quality food. We all need a certain calorie intake to maintain our weight and strength. This doesn’t mean high calorie food that has no nutriental value to it, especially high levels of sodium in it that requires a lot of water to balance it out in the body. People should when storing food to make sure that is quality food that they would eat during the pre disasterous times. Chemical additives in food simply mean that the food is cheap and the manufacturer is trying to hide the poor quality of it. Good wholesome food doesn’t require much, other than natural ingredients to make it taste good. If you can afford it, buy better quality food to store. During stressful times it is always nicer to have food that taste good. Something is better than nothing, but the better the food is you eat, the better off your body will be for it and the better your body will feel for it.

Every person should scout out their area before something happens to determine what they can look around for to eat because their food supply is likely to run out sooner than later. Urban setting are the most difficult because of lack of natural vegetation and game, but not impossible. Each place that a person lives has some form of food available to them outside their home refuge. The best time to go searching is beforehand, and to map out what possible hazards they will face in a post SHTF environment around their home.

        3. Special needs. This is what few people would regard as third most important, but it can be life threatening without that special need. Many people need a certain something stay alive. It could be blood sugar levels, a certain type of medication or vitamin or mineral, or some other need to keep the body alive and functioning. Don’t assume that you can do without something that you need. Each person is different as well as others in any survival group, stocking up and finding alternatives to conventional treatment is paramount in survival. Address your personal needs now and the personal needs of others in your survival group that may depend on something to live or remain well and stock well for these needs.

Another special need is something that few people give much thought to after a catastrophe, this being something to bribe your way out of a bad situation or on occasion trade for something that you need. This should be considered in any survival stockpile, items to be used by desperate people to save yourself and others. Trading with an alcoholic is not such a good idea, but having alcohol (booze) available to bargin your way out of something is not a bad idea. Cigarettes are of course another item highly prized, as many prisoners have saved themselves with a cigarette or two. Another really needed item will be rock salt. People like animals become quite in need of salt to live, and this essential nutrient will become in short supply quickly. Rock salt in 50 lbs bags is cheap. Certain items you might not have use for should be considered to add to a stockpile that others may desperately have desire for them.

        4. Protecting yourself from others. This is an absolute must. Even someone totally isolated needs good protection. While some people are opposed to firearms, it must be understood that the further you are away from an attacker, the less of a chance you have or being injuried or killed. This means having something that will project an object at enough force to stop the attacker(s). There is a whole school of thought of what someone needs from rifles to handguns to ever size of caliber. The main focus needs to be on the individual needs of a person and/or group. Any prepper/survivalist should also not limit themselves to ONLY firearms. Many other weapons offer protection and practicality such as stealthness and ease of use, especially hunting game. Bear spray is a lot more effective on a large attacking animal than a lower caliber firearm for example. Booby traps and other means of slowing down, impending, or stopping something is something to consider also.

One of the worst misconceptions of self defense is not understanding the stopping power that is necessary. Many people still rely on a baseball bat or other weapon that can be easily taken away from someone, especially by more than one attacker. People have to think about what life will be like after a severe disaster, it is not business as usual. There is likely no help from law enforcement or nieghbors, most people will be on their own. What do you need to stop someone, packs of hungry vicous animals, or many people from taking what you have? Realistic thinking of this needs to be contemplated before something occurs and acted upon. The willingness to do whatever is necessary to protect you and your family is something that all must be ready for. Someone is not being a Rambo type by being simply well prepared to defend themselves and their families with extreme force from harm and death.

        5. Safety from the elements. We are all use to turning on the air conditioner when it is hot and the heater when it is cold. This luxary is something likely to be part of the past after a major disaster. Your home can become like an ice box or like an oven. This takes its tool on people and uses up more valuable supplies to stay warmer or cool enough. People should consider some sort of insulation scheme with their survival area before anything happens to maintain temperatures like the way a thermos does. Safety from elements also includes the wind, rain snow, and from the aftermaths of a SHTF event. This can include sheltering from radiation from a nuclear war, nuclear disaster, or terrorist incident. Protecting everyone from anything from the outside that makes life more difficult and trying, on the inside.

Another hazard from outside that needs to be kept outside is vermin. Many people will have blown out windows after certain disasters that let in the air and the pests. Rodents carry every type of disease imaginable, control of these animals must be a top priority. Proper waste disposal is one way of keeping these parasites at bay. Insect control is another consideration, as fleas, ticks, and flies have been the source of death throughout the ages. Many natural and man-made repellents work well with them. You are trying to keep your place as sterile and clean as possible.

        6. Personal upkeep. There cannot be said enough of keeping the body as near to healthy and free of physical stress as possible. Personal hygiene is essential. This means some method of bathing, keeping your mouth as germ free as possible through daily dental care, and not allowing your body to have to highly regulate and repair itself. This goes with the safety from the elements and maintaining as near to what your body is most comfortable with. Too many people try to rough out a situation, and this macho attitude has its definite pronounced liabilities. The more your body has to cool or warm itself, the more fuel is needed, eating into your survival stash. The more physical stress someone has, the more vulnerable they are to succumbing to disease and sickness, and the overall shutdown of the body itself.

Many nutritional deficiencies of the past are seldom seen anymore such as scurvy, but will pop their ugly head as soon as the regular diets of people are no more. On top of a stockpile of vitamins and minerals, each person needs to understand all the basic needs a body requires. Books on mineral and vitamin counts of individual foods is the best source of information on this as people will eventually need to obtain their food through other means than the accustomed store brought supplies.

        7. Germs are my enemy. Sanitation is something that everyone must practice. It is not just to keep the insects and other vermin away, it is to stop bacteria and other pathogens from getting into your body and into your environment around you. It should be known that anti-bacteria soaps and other disinfections have a limited shelf life. Bleach for example loses its ability to kill germs quickly, months to a couple of years depending on the brand and concentrations. This should be planned for by any prepper and these items should be rotated frequently. Fuel to boil water, sturdy containers to hold water, as well as to sterilize items necessary for cleaniness.

Too many people lose the hands awareness motto. Very few germs actually infect people through the air. Even the flu is mostly contacted because of touch, which is more concentrated usually than in the air. Throughly washing hands can save much grief from sickness. Proper cooking of food is something some people fail at to kill pathogens in the food. Use of cutting boards, knives, and other cooking instruments for items not cooked are another source of contamination. The nearly invisible germ is what will kill more people after a disaster than anything else. Something else to remember, when one becomes ill, many often soon follow.

        8. Remaining civilized. This is something that many don’t think is that necessary for survival. This is a board scope of what it means to be civilized. People without light during the night are in a dangerous situation, it is depressing and mostly leaves people vulnerable and crashing over each other and anything left around. Just like maintaining temperature control, it is necessary for the well being of people to have some means of being able to properly cook their food, being able to go to the bathroom and use toilet paper, anything that helps someone to maintain what they and their bodies are use to. Change is difficult to deal with, drastic change can be life threatening. While the credo of any prepper/survivalist is adaptation is key to survival, people still want to have something they are use to and ease into a new world as well as possible. Remaining above the level of a savage or an animal must be maintained as much as possible.

Another thing to consider is that being civilized has its benefits in that people think with a clearer head when they can still remain logical and reason through problems. One of the worst aspects of someone that is no longer civilized is that they begin to act and think like a savage. This might work in some circumstances, but in most situations the one best defense a person has is their ability to use their brains and out think any opponent or threat. Losing being civilized and someone loses part of that superior thought process to outwit most problems and predators.

        9. I can still fix it. After a cataclysm the regular world is going to be gone, and with it most of the most conveniences that people have come to expect. A person’s ability to repair what is left to make their world at least function is a skill that will take anyone far. Jerry rigging devices, being inventive and creating workable parts and machines, and regular repair will become a norm for the new harsher world. One just has to see someone without a proper tool just how much total misery they go through in the present day world. A tool that works makes all the difference to a task that is impossible without it. Everyone wants to obtain the hand, eye, and mental coordination to work with tools and fix items on their own and with others.

People can train themselves before a disaster happens by using hand tools to repair an item instead of modern electric tools. They can attempt to repair an item using only what is around the house. People can make useable items out of “good” junk or spare parts. It is training of the mind to think, create, and make repairs that someday will become more than routine, but a necessity to help them to survive. Also make such a person high in demand for any type of post end of civilization as we know it work force.

        10. Mental stability. This is something that will play a huge part in many lives. People see the world they are use to come crashing down, and see a new world that is extremely frightening and even more threatening. Some people will opt out to suicide either through immediate means or slower and dragged out than face such an impossible world. This is why all of the above 9 priorites are so important. A person must have hope and that hope is so deeply drained away when times become so awful for them that they feel the only way out is death. Retaining some form of normalcy is a basic requirement for many to survive after everything is taken away.

One of the best means of retaining some mental stability is diversion and any sense of accomplisment and progress. The more someone’s mind can be taken off how miserable they are and how much despair a situation is, the better chance they have of not falling into deep depression or coming out of such despondency. While entertainment such as boardgames, cards, puzzles, etc. may seem like space taken up for no good purpose, much of this become a life saver to many. Books are something that have saved people from going insane in confined spaces such as jail. Boredom on top of despair are a really bad combination. Anything that can offer some happiness or distraction from the shear horror of what is going on is quite valuable. Positive feedback to others for chores and tasks and showing appreciate can go a long ways. Remember just because you are all right doesn’t mean someone in your family or group is.

There is another problem that many people fall into that prepare for emergencies from minor to the end of the world as we know it. This is not a clear focus on their personal immediate and long term needs. Each person has different and unique needs and no survival plan fits all in regards to what exactly a person needs to put away. Some people lose sight of what and how much they actual will need have, ending up with not nearly enough to survive even a couple of weeks. A false sense of security. While others go to the other extreme of putting away everything, including junk and useless items that take up space and send their survival organization into total disarray. This is what is defined as a “Pack Rat Prepper”.

Someone should always aim to become a ‘Practical Stockpile Prepper’ that utilizes their volume of space, their limited resources, and their supplies into a well organized and cost effective life saving cache of supplies. This means to balance what you need and not stock what you don’t need and you or no one else can realistical ever use. It often means quality over quantity. Someone needs to know, so it is not lost in confusion. Items that need to be rotated are done so. A person can get to exactly what they need rapidly, being time efficient. Material is clearly labeled and organized. Even items that require a lot of them, the more the better like toilet paper, are keep clean, dry and stacked orderly. The opposite of this can be very self destructive to everyone.

Like the common pack rat that see something and grab it and hide it, many people see items as someday valuable and pack them away for later. There are big problems with this as most pack rats are clueless what they actual have. There is no concentration of true need. Pack rats put all their eggs into one basket and that basket is consistant of utter clutter. Pack rat preppers will keep items that have become useful to no one. This might include food that not even a cockroach could eat, piece of broken plastic, broken tools, even broken glass. They see junk and litter as something someday someone can use. Screws, nails, and other spare parts have much value, but trash just takes up space and prevents any type of organization of real needs. They totally lose track of everything and only see the stacks of what they have as volumes of value. This is extreme, but is a downfall that many people that store up for tomorrow fall into in varying degrees of severity.

This is where a true skill comes in before, during, and after a calamity hits, being what is called an ‘Expert Scrounger’. Being able to forage around for useful items is a true art. Anyone can collect useless debris in a big pile that serves no purpose. It takes someone with an imagative and creative mind to see an item being put together that will work and be helpful to them and others. Many talk about after some monster cataclysm that we all will be reduced to an 18th century level of primitiveness. They don’t see all the potential of so much finished products out there laying around that anyone from the 18th. century would have relished having for the taking. People will also have to learn how to be the gatherer of food, herbs, and other medicinal plants out there in nature for the picking.

Another expertise that almost all people will need to learn and hone is living by their wits. Having what is called savvy will be necessary. A hunter needs this to be able to outthink what they need for dinner. A trader needs this to out master whom they are bartering with. A traveller must have this to not get caught up in a manmade or natural trap, and how to get loose if they do. A survivalist needs this know-how to be able to adapt constantly to the multiple changing world around them after the stability of the human civilization might not be around.

One other trait that most people don’t like is fixability. Sometime you may have to bug out to another location or do something that you might not have ever considered to survive. The old adage here is that sometimes beggers can’t be choosers. Even the catchphrase of grin and bear it might apply. The ultimate goal is to live and live as well and as long as possible. Common sense must take precedence here, whatever is best going to suit that goal of survival even if that means shallowing one’s pride to do what is necessary for everyone’s benefit.

What anyone is aiming for is the ability of themselves and the people around them to be able to survive and make what they have left around them work to keep them alive and well. The more serious any situation is, the more someone and a group will have to pull from what they have stored up physically and from within themselves. A strong and well balanced level of storage of these needs that can be efficiently used and will be the difference between a likelihood of survival and a miserable difficult possibly fruitless effort at it.

                • Be informed says:

@ Mark Smith. Someone can posts truths about anything without saying that they want all boomer generation people to die. There is a line between being a troll that infuriates people and someone that is a lunatic. Even NC Joker has only once or twice threaten people with death, braveheart one time. Eisencrust has done this on too many occasions to just discount him as blowing off steam or trying to get people’s goat. I have been looking back at these comments and it is very interesting to see how someone pushes his buttons wrong and he goes totally ballistic, to the point in which you can see the wanton rage behind the keyboard.

I for one cannot stand criminals and the way society has empowered them. I have made points about how society has made it far easier for the pedophile fags to molest children. Even South Park did an episode about this about how the kids were sent off the intolerance camp because they tried to tell their parents that these two queer teachers, Mr. Garriso and Mr. Slave, at school were inserting gerbils up their ass. They called the kids gay bashers.

Kids now face the danger, as well as parents of discrimination because of the political correctness that is favoring the evil homo. Yet eisencrude took it that I was calling ALL gay people evil and all of them are child molesters and went into a total crazed rage saying that I need to lick a porcupine’s ass, I was some toothless red neck hillbilly incapable of understanding anything and much more.

This is not just me. Eisencracks went off on other people too many times to count like someone ready to snap, crackle, and go pop. How many trolls on this site other than NC Joker have threaten people with death, or wished that an entire age group die? This is a psychopath. I don’t even think about hurting anyone, I think about defending myself and the innocent against attack as most people on this site think. Eisennuts might sometimes bring up a valid point, but this is all lost because he is uncapable of holding his out of control temper. I would never want to be around this guy with my back to him, he is just one personal event away from frothing at the mouth and go after everything that moves.

FEMA to Conduct Chemical Contamination Operation on Food Supply

“On February 26 FEMA will be conducting a virtual exercise that involves a chemical incident scenario that contaminates the food supply. Weeks before the exercise the government in partnership with the Resource & Resources in Food Protection will hold a Webinar on assessing the potential adverse effects of contamination of the drinking water distribution system.”

“Not much is known about the chemical-food exercise outside the exercise design team and participants. What we do know is that it part of a comprehensive 2014 exercise schedule that includes radiation, pandemic, wildfires, and environmental issues”.

Imminent False Flag? FEMA To Contaminate World Food Supply (Video)

“Was the poisoning of West Virginia’s water supply a “leak?” An accident? A test run? Or could it have been a false flag?

The question is the first thing that popped into my head after seeing the beginning of the video below, based on an upcoming FEMA “chemical food” exercise, scheduled for February 26, 2014, and will include scenarios including “radiation, pandemic, wildfires, and environmental issues.”

Another scenario is a “chemical incident” that contaminates the food supply.”

WE are in the Last Days for however long they last, and as the Great & Terrible Day of The Lord approaches, having a plan, preparing for many potential alternative possibilities is the wise course of action: for US and OUR government.

I would be worried if they were doing nothing. What do the Super Bowl Teams do between the end of their championship season and the Big Day?

They prep and prepare. WE should too. :-)

            • I agree that the only way for first responders to be able to help is for them to practice before help is needed.
But isn’t it odd that while FEMA and the Red Cross take in abundant funding, they don’t seem to actually spend it in emergency response? Look at the FEMA response after hurricane Sandy. Look at the Red Cross’ own admissions that they have still not spent even half of the money they took in for hurricane Katrina,… or Haiti or Sandy! Yet they continue to fund raise after each catastrophy. So what are they doing with all that money?
Black opps?? Underground bases? What? It sure has not been used to help the people. So where is it?

              - the Oklahoma City bombing
              - 9/11
              - the Batman movie theater shooting
              - the Boston Marathon bombing
              - the September Naval Yard shooting

And there will be more to come.

Let me be clear: I am not anti-government, I am not anti-USA, and I believe in democracy, a healthy democracy. My country right, to be kept right. My country wrong, to be PUT right.

But Satan HATES man and when a group of women and men in and out of our government cooperate with Satan, what do we get?

              - 55 million babies aborted
              - GMO foods, that cause cancer
              - Vaccines that cause Autism
              - Gardasil that causes young girls to go sterile
              - HAARP created storms like Hurricane Sandy
              - Countless coffins purchased along with body bags
              - 2 billion bullets stored up for the next civil war against their own people

And you don’t think this “one nation under God” will NOT suffer DIVINE Consequences because we have been under all this MAN-inflicted DEATH?

And as for your super cheery attitude and the unequivocal TRUST you have in our government, there is NO doubt in MY mind you work for them, so we get further caught UNprepared.

(Gal 5:22-23 NIV) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, {23} gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

I apologize to you if I went for the jugular.

But I’m confused. The tone of your original post spoke of your implicit trust in our government and this one says you do not trust unequivocally.

Furthermore, you neither agree nor disagree with the list of evil stuff I mentioned. Am I to infer you believe government was not involved in any of those? What about the president protecting Monsanto from anti-gmo laws?

As for me, I, too, believe in my salvation, as you do in yours, but I don’t believe my salvation is assured only because I sin every day and therefore I know I (personally) believe I have to repent every day. Or at least once a week. I know I’ve got my sins to answer for. That’s what I mean by “getting right with God”.

By the way, toward the end of his life, John Lennon told his friends his phone was bugged and he was being followed, to which they replied, stop smoking the damn weed, it’s really making you paranoid!

After his death, a journalist sued under the Freedom of Information Act for his records and discovered Nixon and Hoover had him under surveillance and his phone bugged.

So as for your giving me a so called DSM-IV diagnosis, lol, I can assure you, “Just because I’m ‘paranoid’, as you put it, doesn’t mean they are not out to get ALL of us!”

The division of America along the New Madrid was predicted by Cayce more than 70 years ago. Whether that is by HARRP or not I don’t know.

Why dwell on the negative and bemoan the Changes that are coming? I cannot stop God, Satan, or HARRP. Why not focus on the positive and what I can do with my time and energy: embrace those Changes, and put the stamp of a Patriot upon them, to the best of my ability?

Life is Change. How America changes depends upon each of US, collectively, doing OUR part as best as WE can with the understanding and resources that WE have leaving the rest to God to unfold His plan.

Christ does not come until after the Anti-Christ. And the Anti-Christ probably doesn’t rise until after the death of Mabus. Should WE pray that the Anti-Christ not come? The Earth is the Lord’s to do with as He wills and according to His Plan.

I am not concerned, worried, or anxious in the least about wars, rumors, economic collapse, or any other evil thing because I TRUST The Lord will keep His promises to US according to His Word.

As it is written, so shall it be. So why get oneself in a tizzy when WE know how the story ends? Embrace the joy of the Lord. Peace. ;-)

The government’s preparation is along the same lines as Hitler’s preparations prior to WWII. Their plans are for suppression of dissent, oppression and extermination of those they perceive to be a threat to their power.

Wake up DK. And stop drinking the kool-aid.

              • durango kidd says:

Hey Walt! Yes OUR government is preparing to perpetuate itself. And I would prefer that they do, rather than not prepare and leave the Nation open to invasion as the judgement of God is manifested upon America.

While the political class and OUR bureaucratic employees believe that THEY are the government, I still believe that WE THE PEOPLE are the government, which is why I encourage everyone to become politically active.

Politics IS the responsibility of FREE men and women.

So while I believe WE can still turn this behemoth around, I do not want to invite an ill advised invasion of the Nation by outside forces by being militarily weak and unprepared for many possibilities.

Every prep the government makes is one last item that it will not need to take from anyone else for its survival. That rationale is no different than whether your next door neighbor preps or not.

I want my government to survive what is coming and I want Americans prepared to defend the nation and OUR Constitution from the New World Order when those Changes arrive and they attempt to use that crisis to fully enslave US. If WE THE PEOPLE take control of OUR government again, the NWO will not be able to implement their plan.

Don’t think government is sufficiently savage to use food as a weapon? Then you probably believe that umbrella kept Mary Poppins airborne.

I can think of six specific lesbians who are more skilled at martial arts and shooting than many men. They have been at the range shooting with FLE and shot better than the federal gendarmerie.

              Gender generalizations are specious.

              • Harriet says:

Those worried about your stash being confiscated for the ‘greater good’ …do you really think cops are going to risk getting shot to take things to give to some slacker? They’ll clean you out if they are already there, but won’t try going door to door. Their reaction to resistance in Waco speaks volumes. The gooberment’s not the all powerful beast it would have us all believe.

                • sixpack says:

They WILL go take your food because they’ll be LIED TO.

What they’ll likely be told is, that they will be gathering “surplus” food for hungry children, elderly and people in hospitals. They’ll be told that innocent people will starve to death while greedy hoarders sit on their stores.

They’ll be told they’re taking from people who have much more than they can use, to save those unfortunate souls who lost everything they had.

                  …not everyone will know better.

And, don’t forget a very possible mutiny, either.

How many young men dodged the draft during the Vietnam War? Or fled into Canada? How many practiced fragging (killing their superiors) once in Vietnam? No, I bet there will be a good number of draftees turning on the NWO types, if they have not already dodged the draft and skipped town.

Wow, BI! Awesome post!!! Hope you don’t mind if I copy and paste your entire post to print and give to some family members that won’t get on the internet and read. I’ll wait for a bit, and if I don’t see a negative from you, I’ll get it done.

I’ve been working on most of the 10 you listed. Mostly on my own, unfortunately. But as discouraged as I get sometimes, if I don’t carry the load no one else will.

We’ve had some prowlers and theft around the house over the past year. I now carry a loaded weapon every time I go out back to tend to the chickens or the garden. That makes me feel better, but I have had to really talk to myself over facing the reality that I must be prepared to USE the weapon. Mental toughness and resolve need a workout just like any muscle!!!

Thanks again for the great post!
And thanks for this wonderful site, Mac. I’m here every day, even though I seldom post.

Be strong and prepared, everyone. Quite a few of y’all seem like family, I’ve been reading your posts for so long. I’ll be keeping all of you in my prayers!!!

Being armed is good. BUT! Know the terrain. Shadows and corners where someone can hide. Maybe some lights to remove shadows.

Set some basic traps. Stack some wood in corners. If you go out and the stack is toppled. You know something is up. Some wind chimes in corners can be a great way to alert you too.

I will save the dangerous or deadly traps for post collapse.

This ‘comment’ of yours feels like it is a scene stealer.
It detracts from the article Mac chose to post.
It is, as if, Mac didn’t answer your personal requests to publish an article you wrote – so you just put it up here as this, anyway.
It has been suggested to you before to start your own blog.
But I understand that you probably would not get the readership your ego so desires.

          • Be informed says:

@ Anon. This not even close to some revenge thing on poor Mac. I spent many, many hours putting something like this together for helping out our fellow survivalist enthusiast. I said to myself upon writing this I will do it for not one single bit of self glorification, ONLY to help others out there have a plan, an idea how to better survive. I don;t know why Mac did not use this for an article, but I respect this as this is his site.

I truly could not just let this sit on the computer and not let others see this is someway. These are just suggestions, but I though some of this was new and might aid in others getting together a plan before this happens.

i admit it I don’t like this relentless milking of the economic collapse issue, but this article I wrote was for the SOLE purpose of helping everyone out there. We all live in this sticken world for a very limited amount of time, and if we can help each other in someway then it makes it a little more worthwhile to be alive. I decided last week that I was going to send this in as an article and not let it sit in mothballs any longer. I hope lots of people copy this and it helps give them a different plan for survival to add to the one they already have. That is positive don’t you think?

To everyone that enjoyed what I wrote about preparedness thank you. Also to Mac for not censoring me like so many other sites have done because I have not conformed to their idea of political correctness. This says a lot about Mac’s belief in the First Amendment to let people speak their opinions even if it is criticism. We all are so much better when we can learn from each other.

          • Be informed says:

@ Just_Sayin. Old Vet posted much very valuable the other day about viruses and preparation oils that was very long, slightly longer than waht I sent. I like others totally enjoyed it. You are saying that I can’t post something I worked on for a long time to try to help others? That doesn’t seem very fair does it?

It was where I posted it, second from the top. This shows that a new type of forum needs to be here so everyone is not so desperately trying to rush everything to the top of the comment section, especially now that there is no past 10 comments listed.

I am not trying to harm Mac. Here is the whole truth of why I posted it today. I am locked out of the Microsoft Officd Word section that saves documents. My 25 character code is not working. Therefore I cannot save a document and then access it again. IF I lose power, which is common where I live, all that writing I have to do over again from a hard copy I saved. I did not want to take the chance of losing it and retyping it. I really need to get the computer into the shop. I also thought that the beginiing of the week would be a good time to let others see what I have written. Like all other survival writings, nothing is a cure all for everything, these are only suggestions.

I want to add to this site. I have asked Mac to please tell me if I am doing any wrong just tell me and I won’t do it. I assumed because Mac didn’t say to not post the comment it was okay, as I sent him this beforehand to look at. I am not some villian trying to steal Mac’s thunder or hijack the site. As the comment bar below says, “this web site thrives because of it community”. So what is wrong with sending in information that is in total theme with the site’s name, SHTF PLAN. IF Mac is upset with anything I do all he has to do is say so and I will of course respect this. I really thought I was helping people with this to have some differnet ideas to survival.

            • Just_Sayin says:

BI…Although I appreciate your efforts, you have taken an article and completely changed the dynamics 180 degrees from the original content for no other reason than personal computer problems.

Again, I don’t mean to sound like a d-bag because I know you put a lot of work into your writing but lets stay on topic.

              • Be informed says:

@ Just_Sayin. In the last paragraph of the article Mac posted it says have a preparedness plan and the regular supplies. I think what I sent actually tied very nicely into that last bit of advice given in the drudge article. This is one reason that I send to myself that I have to post this now, it seemed completely appropriate at this time after reading that last paragraph. I feel this connected well to the theme of the article and the site as whole. Ask Matt Drudge and I suspect he might even say it did IF he visited this site.

            • Im quite sure if Mac thinks youre off base he will say so…wouldn’t pay the naysayers too much attention otherwise… :)

Here’s an old one for everyone, if you have seen it before, remember many have not… I might have CRAFT…

One day a farmer’s donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn’t worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and beganto shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone’s amazement, he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well, and was astonished at what he saw. With every shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up. As the
farmer’s neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and trotted off!
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up!
Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
                1. Free your heart from hatred.
                2. Free your mind from worries.
                3. Live simply.
                4. Give more.
                5. Expect less.

                Enough of that crap.
The donkey later came back and kicked the shit out of the farmer who tried to bury him.
Moral: When you try to cover your ass, it always comes back to get you

          @Be Informed:

Thank you for your article just overflowing with wisdom and great information. It is quite obvious that you have put a lot of thought into it and I believe the valuable information is relevant and appropriate for these very critical times we are going into in the days ahead. There is something going on out there that does not quite sit right with me. Mac’s article from several days ago where he pointed out all the various trouble spots in the world was a good article and made a thinking fellow pause and think.

I believe there is something afoot, something lurking in the deep, something (sinister) moving in the shadows. The pieces are being put in place and the signal for action is awaiting final approval. We do not have much more time to get our acts together. The sentinel event may have already happened but we must be on high alert, be suspicious of everything, be paranoid without letting paranoia cripple us.

BI, Mac, thank you for all the good work that you are doing at this site. Everyone, thank you for your great comments. Keep them coming.

Anon, sorry to see you feel that way, but we all come here for good information on survival-related subjects. It’s true that a lot of politics are on this site now, but hey, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a site without politics on it these days. It’s part of life and it come wit the territory. there are times when I do get away from the political stuff and get out and just try to enjoy life all I can while I can. there won’t be anymore enjoyment of life for anyone once the balloon goes up. It’s going to be the maximum survival mode for all of us. I understand a lot of people think my posts are ramblings. you’re the first one to say that about my posts since I got kicked off the MSM sites. But that’s nothing compared to what all of the deluded libs called me back then. What you call my ramblings are what I truly believe and based upon my own personal experience. You can take that for whatever you think it’s worth but those are my beliefs. people are free to accept me like I am or reject me. I’m not out to win any contest and I’m damned sure not changing anything about myself to make someone else happy. other people can have their opposing viewpoints about me all they want. But that doesn’t mean I have to be concerned with such viewpoints and submit to them. I don’t have any obligation to accommodate them.

i do, 1940. you OBVIOUSLY didn’t read it, or you wouldn’t have made that libturd dickhead comment! you MIGHT find out that there’s a LOT of good info here, if you can just sit still long enough to soak it all in. or is it that you can’t dee-sy-fer all those big words when you see a long post? sorry for the namecalling, but i had to show braveheart my support..hee he hee.

you’re right, I don’t read any long posts, they’re just rambling on to hear their head rattle, I don’t need to read a lot of fear mongering to know what’s coming down the pike and how I’m going to handle it. I don’t mind people calling me names on the computer, they were usually in the bottom 2% of their school class and didn’t improve as time went on.

DEAD! all he had to do was to look around and see the car coming, even when his master called to him, he just ignored the warning, he was having to much fun. ignorance is bliss!…until it AINT.

In my generation reading books was a requirement in order for one to think, imagine, emote, learn, reason, etc. Today unfortunately, books have been replaced by fast pace technology where one no longer has the time to read books.

Reading “Be informed” post I did realize that I had very little salt on hand. Damn, how could I forgotten something so simple? Thanks Be informed. Now I will get back to Tolstoy.

          • buttcrackofdoom says:

i don’t need no specifics. there are at LEAST a dozen things right now that are getting ready to come to a head, any ONE of which will set us back 50 years or more. the most important one being fukusheemuh, and if that’s not horrible enough, there’s our national debt/money printing making our standard of living WORSE every DAY. and WORST of all, we are very likely to have world war 3 any day now. but even worse than that, obama has decided HE is going to be KING of america. but the ABSOLUTE worst thing is our kids aren’t getting a good education, in SPITE of spending MASSIVE amounts of money on it. but the worst thing that’s gonna happen is we are about to run out of petroleum, which is essential to keep the world’s engine running to feed the masses….and if THAT wasn’t bad enough, the worst, worstest thing is all the GMO crops are about to kill us by the millions. and then even WORSE than that, the bees are all dying and soon we won’t even have ANYTHING growing to feed us. and then theres the corrupt political system…no WAY to fix THAT ONE! well, i’m glad i got all the worlds problems LISTED, so we can start working on FIXING them. wait, i forgot the WORST of them ALL problem. obamacare is BANKRUPTING our country! no, the worst thing about to happen is the obummer administration is trying to DISARM america! wait, no, worse than THAT, chinese(and some other countries too) banks have just decided you need a “good reason” to remove YOUR MONEY from their bank. but above ALL ELSE, it LOOKS like the gold is GONE from ft knox(and SOME COUNTRIES ARE PISSED)!. but even worse than that, ben bernanke is being retired. oh, wait, one more thing to worry about. china is putting out enough pollution for the WHOLE WORLD, all by it’s little old lonesome self! how are WE gonna fix THAT problem? oh well, at least that’s all we got to worry ’bout, right? oh, i almost forgot, the stock market is overvalued by at LEAST 50%. and the PIIGS are bankrupt(portugal italy ireland greece spain). OOPS, almost forgot the NSA knows what yuh been talkin’ ’bout for what…10 years now. but if ALL THAT aint bad enuff, we got 42% of working-age americans WITHOUT A JOB! awww, hell, there aint NOTHIN’ here worth WORRYIN’ ’bout, now is there? run along now, and enjoy LIFE. oops, almost fergot, ………

            • Anonymous says:

buttcrack, great post! You forgot one– the very, very worst: climate is going bezeerk! In the next 2-5 years food prices will soar (where we pay 2x to 3x what we’re paying now) due to the jet stream, which will get 10 times worse than it is now (more extreme weather swings) and will occur 10 times more often… which will destroy our food crops, California will not have for water for agriculture or for drinking (snow all melting away from mountains)… and

In about 2 years all the conventional oil AS WELL AS UN-CONVENTIONAL OIL– like fracking and tar sands, will be gone and civilization will collapse. (Read…forgot name of the website– something about impact…)

in all seriousnous though, i HOPE people learn some lessons from this epic COLD hitting america’s midsection right now. have some cold-weather gear, longjohns from the military, goretex coat/pant(raingear) will keep out the wind…thereby saving your LIFE in that kind of weather. and the mil. sleep system keeps you warm down to minus 30 degrees(if you USE it right. this stuff can be had CHEAP, compared to the crap you buy in the stores, and it’s BETTER. and for crisesakes! keep a towstrap in yer car, and a way to attach it to both vehicles.

To Be Informed, The original article was very well written. Your comment, good addition. However, having been in some difficult situations, we will find that people want to work, people want to stay civilized, and of course the criminal mind, wants to stay criminal. Most people have good hearts. Criminals right now take advantage of people in this way. “When people’s hearts grow cold.” yes, and it will, when we see the criminal element doing their due diligence because they have less of a chance to get caught. Thus, remember, most people are good, criminals will have to be dealt with differently, shoot them on the spot, there will be no jails, they will not get a flash of reality and be good from now on, thus, one has to realize that when they are in a safe position, a stranger walks up, the story is too good to be true, shoot them. The criminals will send in their con artist, man, woman or child, and they will get your guard down. In order to be safe, you are now the law for your area. If it sounds to good to be true, shoot them. The con artist will tell an excellent story, and of course, you will be the winner, that is the way of con artists. The story will benefit you, more than you can believe, it will be a dream come true, it will be to good to be true. The Father, the SON and the HOLY Ghost, are the redeemers, that is whom we trust, and we follow and we listen to.

I am really sick and tired of heaing that the economy is collapsing… and guess what? The DOW is up today.

ENough already. This site is getting to suck and I am getting tired of the same old recycled articles form everyone. Two years ago it ws buy buy buy gold…it will never go down….the dollar is collapsing…here we are atill.
        Can it happen?
        Yes.
But enough talk already. Every day same thing. ENOUGH.

    1. CO Beach says:

Exit plan already underway. Just need to sell the house, any takers? No money in stocks or bonds, it’s all in food, fuel, heavy metals (lead and steel), and a plan to bug out should it come to it. Just can’t wait to do the final bug out once the house sells. Hope you all are ready. Let the fun begin.

Ive recently started reading the Koran. ON THE SECOND FUCKING PAGE IT ALREADY STARTS TO BASH CHRISTIANS AND JEWS. I HAVENT EVEN FINISHED THE FIRST FUCKING CHAPTER AND ALREADY THERE ARE TOO MANY ANTI JEW AND ANTI CHRISTIAN SLURS TO COUNT. NO FUCKING WONDER THESE DUNE COONS ARE SO SCREWED IN THEIR HEADS. THE NEXT TIME BURN A KORAN DAY COMES AROUND YOU OLD BASTARDS ALL NEED TO PARTICIPATE. AND IF ANYONE OBJECTS TO YOU DOING SO, CALLING IT SACRILAGE, ASK THEM WHY MUSLIM SCHOOLS DONT HAVE DRIVERS ED AND SEX ED ON THE SAME DAY? THEY DONT WANT TO WEAR THE CAMEL OUT.

      • Be informed says:

I don’t get you. You come out against the koran which is based on killing all infidels. You are against children being used by perverts in islam countries. Yet you don’t admit that so many countless homos have attacked and continue to attack kids all the time. I am not an idiot, I realize that not all queers are perverts, absolute of course doesn’t apply. Yet there are a huge number of homos that go after kids, given the chance. You can see this all the time in the way these homosexuals look at boys from age 8 to teenager. They ONLY have to have the opportunity to act on it. Like you say they can’t help themselves for the way they are. It is the same expression that you see when you see a really hot women walk by a group of guys.

I ONLY want to protect children and the innocent from these deviants. Yet you go psycho everytime I mention that even one gay is a weirdo molester. You want kids protected from the muslims attacking them, but you don’t want the same afforded protection from pedophile queers. There are vast numbers of homo deviants, police records more than prove this. You really are totally off base aren’t you?

      Oh…the collapse….again

      • Be informed says:

@ WARFACE. IF they are manipulating the markets or not, the Dow is right now up 10 points. All this talk about a massive Monday collapse has yet to manifest itself. I wonder why everything is so quiet. I am loooking into all the other SHTF events that are just simmering away right now that could be brought on by an economic debacle that we will never hear about, ONLY the mega SHTF such as war that will hit us suddenly.

        • WARFACE says:

Be Informed…I was a regular on this site for awhile and realized I was all caught up in this collapse thing and it was changing who I was. I still read the articles but rarely comment anymore but these “chicken little” stories are so old. I prepare for preparedness sake. The markets are assuredly manipulated and what happened on Friday was probably more of the same. There is chaos and strife and uncivil acts almost every day of our lives but to over-react and claim “collapse” for every hiccup in the market is boardering on lunacy. I really do wish we WOULD have a collapse because I am ready for almost any event and I thoroughly believe this country needs an enema and a RESET but I just can’t live my life waiting and wondering what or when it will be. There is certainly more to life than being paranoid all the time.

A 1K point drop really wouldn’t be a lot. 1650 would only be a 10% correction. I like doom porn as much as the next lunatic fringe dweller, but its not time to panic yet. When the so called circuit breakers in the NYSE kick a few times on the same day, I’ll be a little more concerned.

            • John W. says:

It is a big deal because there is so much of the market that was bought on margin. You cannot ignore a margin call and the brokerage will liquidate an account to meet the margin call plus suspend trading rights. That is why even a five hundred point drop can snowball out of control.

              • George Zimmerman says:

A big deal for the trader in question, but not for the market overall. Although panic IS contagious. Another good reason to not borrow money. Funny how that advise from that old, outdated fairy tale book seem to keep being proven true.

@BI They are manipulating the markets, for one the wealthy know that this house of cards isn’t going to last much longer. Two when it does go they want to make sure that they can stay on top. The problem is, if it TOTALLY falls apart, nobody will be immune. The wealthy just like the middle and bottom will not have a pot to piss in. Prepare as best as you can, but unless you can be totally self sufficient, you will be impacted. We can discuss all the scenarios until we are blue in the face, but unless we are proactive all the prepping in the world isn’t going to save us.

I absolutely agree. The thing is, there are only so many doom and gloom articles you can read before it has one of two effects: You hear it so much you don’t believe it to be true or you hear it so much it brings your spirit down. The key is to always know in the back of your mind that things can change on a dime. Take one day at a time friends…and trust that God is on the throne and in control. His timing is perfect and he will always be with you in whatever circumstance you find yourself in. We are expecting our first Grandchild in the late summer…I have no choice but to be joyful – one day at a time. God is good…even in perilous times.

When I am at its getting real hard again to find components and ammo due to our illustrious dim witted state legislators going for Gun control Round 2 , this time they are still trying pass their Firearms I’d scheme with mandatory training , banning ALL semi auto rifles , 5 round maximum capacity and requiring background checks for ammo . All this was vetoed last year now they are bringing it all back again . The North Jersey contingent controls the whole state and its getting worse every year . They have the free shit army to keep them in office , this state is only one step away from being a total collectivist shit hole.

Despite criticizing the government of the Ukraine for the way the violent protest were handled…the US will will go WAY BEYOND the Ukrainian response, showing the true scale of the hypocrisy of the US government. The US criticized Assad for how he reacted to armed revolt against his government, but when it happens here, the US government will make Assad look like an amateur with its brutality.

So many preppers waiting for a big sudden event/change…

      Tell you what folks…
They say that if you put a frog into a pot of boiling water,
it will leap out right away to escape the danger.
But, if you put a frog in a kettle that is filled with water that is cool and pleasant,
and then you gradually heat the kettle until it starts boiling,
the frog will not become aware of the threat until it is too late.
The frog’s survival instincts are geared towards detecting sudden changes.

This is a story often used to illustrate how humans have to be careful to watch slowly changing trends in the environment, not just the sudden changes. It’s a warning to keep us paying attention – not just to obvious threats but to more slowly developing ones.

When the Lord has gathered His people from earth, and the shit really starts to hit the fan, it’s too late. Prepare your souls now, before it’s too late.

This has happened only eight times over the last 2,000 years!

“The last time the same sequence happened was in 1967 and 1968, when Israel recaptured Jerusalem in the Six-Day War. Before that, it was in the 1940s, when Israel was born.”

It didn’t happen the 1800s, not in the 1700s. Not even in the 1600s.

It did take place in the 1400s, in 1493 and 1494, when the Jews were expelled from Spain.”

Firstly- “Have an exit plan” is only part of the strategy…you need a backup plan to that plan as well.
With all the chaos worldwide and the banks and markets getting nervous, you had better have working plans in place, NOW.

I find it striking that FEMA is scaling up exercises for different events, when it has been apparent from day one that they cannot respond adequately to any large scale emergencies. Maybe they *think* they can respond but are in fact, mistaken.

Several banks have been very skittish as of late- China, HSBC, BOA, Bank of Scotland and Lloyds to name a few. JP Morgan has had the largest gold bullion withdrawal to date from their vaults…seems like a lot of pieces on the chess board are in movement. You don’t create waves or movement unless you need to. What’s that need? Hmmm.

New studies on the New Madrid fault have been recently disclosed that indicate a lot larger area of destruction than previously thought as well. Years ago they deemed it all quiet and it wouldn’t happen again.

National Geographic reports that the 1918 flu pandemic was tied to a strain of H1N1 influenza — the same strain that caused the 2009 global “swine flu” outbreak. This year, H1N1 is back in the United States, according to the U.S. Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, disproportionately targeting young, healthy adults.”

I have a fair plan to either disprove the immediate direness of the economy because numbers can be jiggled too much and there is some wiggle room left, or prove that I and others should be listening very closely to these people that say the economy is in the last death throes.

I personally feel that a mega SHTF is coming, but will hide any economic collapse. Others feel that the economic collapse will be the sole ONLY stated cause of martial law and every other disasterous governmental power grab. That will happen in my opinion from some other reason like the New Madrid breaking or war or some plague or something. So I am going to each day that I can remember to count the numbers of days since the real fear and scare has been put into the minds of everyone. Last Friday when the stocks went down 2% will be the starting point. So that was DAY ONE and Saturday is day two, and so on. Today is DAY 4 since all of this “FINAL” unravelling of the economy has started on day one. So IF this is “the end” for the economy, that DAY should not reach 100 or 150.

This way each of us can be reminded that the fear started here, no moving the goal posts, starting point last Friday. This will also remind us the number of days should something happen that have passed to give us an idea how long a collapse, if it occurs took. No more saying it will happen tomorrow without remembering WHEN tomorrow actually is. I am going to call it: “DAY __ since the possible proposed beginning of the end of the economy”.

This will either hold all those accountable for unjustified fear mongering that this is definitely it, OR it will make people like myself look like total fools, jackasses, for not believing this FINAL warning of imminent economic danger was so close. Let’s see what will happen.

IF we can get to day 90 or so without an economic collapse, then all of this was possibly chicken little squawking away. This doesn’t mean that something else could not happen, and I suggest to everyone to make sure your plans and supplies are in order because a SHTF can come on so quickly. Just look at the Japanese earthquake that brought about the worst nuclear accident ever and quite possibly the worst long term disaster in human history.

With the M1A I’m getting around 2650 FPS.
With the Shorty I’m getting around 2550 FPS these are averages.
Range at test was 100 yards. (FBI trains at 100 yards any further back you are too far). But I have shot them at over 300 yards.

Groups M1A les than an 1″ at 100 yards Clover leaf.
Shorty clover leaf with holes touching.

300 yards the M1A shots a little better, both are pretty close I’m getting a under a 2 1/2 group from both. These are all shot from a rest.

So my next round that I have just started trying is the Barnes Triple shock 165Gr. So far so good. I’m hoping that W.W. starts releasing the XP3 slug I want to try them.

K… Ream your flash holes in the brass on the inside. Only have to do it once. Trim cases to spec. as needed. Best combo for me has been Federal 210M primers, RL15 powder for all bullet weights. You just have to adjust your powder weight to the bullet weight. If you really want to get picky you can sort your brass by weight and/or even volume. Next sort your bullets by weight. Eventually with enough effort and sorting you can end up with a box of shells that shoot dime groups. I do this for some of my hunting rounds and have a couple of boxes for each caliber. The brass never gets switched or mixed with any other brass in the future. There are many more tricks, but not enough time to expand.

I was looking at a Hershey’s milk chocolate almond bar in the store the other day. Price was $1.24. Once was 5 cents. The collapse takes many forms.

          • Be informed says:

@ slingshot. Not only was it 5 cents but the candy bar was bigger. When it was 5 cents, it had I believe about 2 oz. That made it 2 and 1/2 cents per ounce. The candy bars now are anywhre between 1.2 and 1.6 ounces. lets say it is 1.6 ounces. That makes it 77 and 1/2 cents per ounce. That is a 31 times increase in per ounce chocolate. That is what you call some serious inflation as few people factor in the price per ounce of what an item is. Just look at the how the items contents have strunk so much over the years, slow enough so the public won’t notice. I grew up when everything was 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 oz. Not 5.25, 13.75. 24.17, 30.2, or some other number that they use the excuse it metric friendly. Yet these totally are odd metric numbers like .65 liters, 445 grams. 1.7 kilograms, not round numbers. The deceit is overwhelming sometimes isn’t it?

            • Archivist says:

I was working in convenience stores back when candy bars were 15 cents. They would drop the size, change the price, increase the size, and change the price again repeatedly. I would rather they had just raised the price without changing the size. I want full size without tricks. Miracle Whip is now 30 oz. instead of a full quart. Ice cream is 1.5 quarts instead of a full half-gallon. And different brands of products are different sizes so you can’t compare the prices without a calculator. Today I saw that Grandma’s Molasses is in a 12 oz. jar, but the Food Lion brand is in a 16 oz. jar. I’m tired of the trickery.

And I’m tired of how often the prices and sizes change now. In the old days, a small loaf of bread (there was only one size) was 10 cents. It didn’t matter what brand or what store, it was always 10 cents. The same thing with soft drinks. Coke or Pepsi in 10 oz. was ten cents everywhere. Now bread is in a number of different sizes and varies from $1.00 to over $3.00. Wal-Mart has 2-liter Pepsi for $1.00 regular price, and Food Lion has theirs at $1.99 regular price and on sale for $1.69. Ain’t it fun talking about how it use to be. Remember when you use to put peanuts in your coke. Back when I was in grade school there was a mom and pop grocery store about every two or three blocks in a medium size town. There was one a block from school and when ever I could come up with a dime, I would get a coke and a bag of planters peanuts, 5 cents each. Trekker Out.

          • Arby says:

And now it only weighs half as much as it did when it sold for one Dime !

          • JayJay says:

Kroger’s had a table of $1 bars yesterday. Yep–can you remember when candy bars were 50¢??
We would go to Dollar General and buy oodles of bars, stick them in our bags, go to the movies and not buy there–hey, you do whatcha gotta do. :-)

            • Archivist says:

You can’t be very old. I can remember when the huge candy bars that you could split with friends or eat over the course of days cost only 49 cents. The regular ones were 10 cents and went to 15 in the early 1970s. The big item for kids trying to stretch their money was Now & Laters. They were 10 cents and there were a number of pieces in the pack. Most of the kids called them “Annihilators.”

Actually I can remember the times when candy bars and Pepsis were a nickel each, but I didn’t have any money, so I didn’t know what they cost at the time. I just knew my father had a wallet full of money all the time, but wouldn’t buy me anything. I might get a Coke a couple of times a year.

              • Archivist says:

PS. My wife and I still sneak in candy bars to the movies occasionally, when there’s one worth watching. She has a really big purse. And we always go to the cheaper matinee for $4.

When I was a kid. Movie – 25 cents. Popcorn – 10 cents. Candy bars 5 cents. Box of Red Hots to throw at other kids 5 Cents.

A whole afternoon of walking to town with the gang. Movie and candy. Under 50 cents.

@ RICH99. I am going to prepare period for any SHTF event(s). Though I have grown wary of all this alarmist about the economy unless there is imminent danger, so I thought let’s have a starting date of the economic dire warnings. Let’s see from starting point A, Jan. 24 (day 1) how long before it either happens or people say to themselves, this is day 324, where is it? I am fully willing to wear egg on my face if all of a sudden it does happen, if it is going to do what is best for everyone out there to prepare, and to keep as much interest in preparation for other potentially dire events other than an economic debacle should it fail to occur.

@ Kulafarmer. I am glad you have brought up earthquakes, I am growing tired of this eisencrap garbage. Today there was an earthquake east of Easter Island and about 90% of the time a major earthquake follows within 15 days. The same locations as before are indicating this stress; Australian plate especially Vanautu, east Indonesia and Papua New Guinea and New Guinea, the Nazca and Cocos plate where central America including south Mexico and the western South American coastline, northern Pacific plate especially Kuril Islands and Alaska, and this one happened in the same exact spot before the Californian and Mexico border had a 7.2. Yes it is building. I said on oor before Jan.31 and it is indicating there is a strong chance of this occurring by Friday. I would say something bigger this time 7+.

We are all the Walking Dead, right now, unless we pray to God, and get right with Him, as a country, and as individuals.

God did not create a galaxy that would develop shortages. But that’s what Satan would have you believe. Despite Tesla’s invention of wirelessly transmitting electricity around the world at no cost.

What we have here is a shortage of goodness coupled with a shortage of truth.

Which is Satan’s perfect recipe so he can lure and then trap you on the dark side, behind the forever locked gates of Hell. After all, he is the king of lies, right? and of deception?

Let me tell you my Exit Strategy. Nor sure for OPSEC reasons I’ll tell you everything I’ve rigged up (boy, wouldn’t that be fun) but here goes:

        - Confession every week or every other week
        - Communion and Mass every week
        - Daily prayer (even if for a few moments, because I consider myself a lousy “pray-er”

Let me be clear: I ain’t no Saint. But I try.

There’s something in the air. People around the world can feel it, sense it, intuit it.

IF you are fortunate enough not to be at the ground zero either of a nuclear weapon or an EMP or a bioterror thing or a blitzkrieg assault by chipped foreign soldiers arriving by local trains and highways and parachutes, you will have, at best, just one hour to make the most important decision of your life: to get right with your God or follow Satan, and to stay put, or to bug out.

Pretend to be thoroughly evil for a few moments: the only way to snuff out these disgusting creatures called humans is to totally discombobulate them, destroy their ecosystem, destroy their currency, shake up the ground underneath their feet, poison the water and food, watch them die slowly of starvation and disease, and laugh as they cry to their God to save them.

My exit strategy also consists of the Seal of the Living God, downloadable at http://www.thewarningsecondcoming.com

Yes, something wicked this way IS coming. It’s all in the Book of Revelations. The seals are being opened. I believe the next one to be opened is worldwide Famine. How horrible.

So get right with your God now, not tomorrow but now, because once we have died, it will be too late to express contrition and sorrow.

And my understanding is that once the gates of Hell are closed behind you, the screams are nothing short of agonizing.

Yet the Mercy of God is incomprehensible! But He cannot grant His Mercy unless each of us, because of our respective free will, repent and become less unloving and more just.

And for the record, I consider myself the biggest sinner here, and if I ever have or now come across as judging anyone, as opposed to judging their behavior, I sincerely apologize. We are called not to judge people, but behavior, but sometimes I get so darn mad I screw that up.

To be consoled as to console

Do you really need to sell? Do you have plenty of others? How much are the medical bills? We have had an incredible increase in our medical expenses over the past 3 years and we take our time paying them. I figure if some illegal or government moocher can come in and get treatment for free and i have pay and we have had the same insurance for years they can take my 25-50 dollars a month and that’s all they are getting. we have taken several years to pay off a couple thousand dollars and have acquired more bills in the mean time. Don’t care. I have other friends that do the same…pay 25 bucks a month on a thousand dollar bill. Screw em! I am pissed with what is becoming of our medical system…and it’s this bad now…just wait :(

      • The Old Coach says:

Gunbroker works, I’ve sold dozens of items there, but not whole guns. I have BOUGHT a couple of rare guns there, though.

Don’t expect to get the crazy high prices that the dealers post their stuff at. Set your opening bid about 40% below what you need to get, and hope that your listing will get noticed. Use a Reserve to keep from having something go for pennies on the dollar. Use a Buy It Now at the price you want to get.

Your strike price may be squeezed downward by the cost of the shipping and the FFL fees. The Gunbroker commission is only about 3%, so that’s not a big issue.

When I sell whole guns, I list them locally in a “Want Ad” weekly newsprint paper. Listing costs me zero, and I usually get the gun sold inside of two weeks. But I’m in a gun-friendly area – other parts of the country those papers won’t take firearms ads.

BTW I will never again use Craigslist! You can get some serious weirdos coming to your house off of that site. Don’t ask how I know…

It’s a house of cards and anybody who doesn’t realize that and prepare properly doesn’t deserve to survive.

@ Eisenkrutz. I don’t know which split personality I am talking to of yours, but the source of this sh$% that you say is this. I explained this to you before, therefore this is really for the other people that are interested in this earthquake forecasting method that still needs a few bugs to be worked out.

There are outer boundaries for the plates, where either the plates spread apart or slide by slide to each other. Earthquakes occur in these areas and are usually back fed energy signatures from faults ready to rupture. ONLY 5% of faults have foreshocks because they are so locked that the fault cannot move much at all. Mostly microquakes at best. This energy though has to go somewhere and is channelled to distant areas not so locked where plates pull apart or rub up against each other. Not thrust or convergant plate boundaries.

In years past these near exact points have had quakes and then there is a record of major earthquakes to follow throughout the earthquake achieves. These areas repeat the same pattern over the past decades with near 90% accuracy within usually a 15 day period. By charting these records you get a picture where the next major earthquake is likely coming. Triangling this is the next picture on a three dimensional scale. This is probably because these points are along a hidden buried very deep past fault system in which they travel along a break much the same as a broken windshield fractures along a certain curve of the window, weak points. It makes sense since out of thousands of miles of plate boundaries these tiny areas often within 1/2 degree of latitude and varying degrees of longitude depending on the distance from the equator continue to have these precursor quakes. 1/2 of a degree is about 35 miles.

Anyone can see this by taking an earthquake location on say the most recent one east of the Easter Island and put in the latitude and longitude within .2 degrees which is pretty narrow, only 14 miles of the exact point of today’s quake and see all the past dates which the near same spot was hit. Take these dates and see all the major quakes that followed within a 15 day period. For example when it was hit back on August 20, 1999, later in the day a 6.9 hit Costa Rica and two days later a 6.5 hit Vanautu. The wider the scope of the area searched for these precursor earthquakes the less accurate they are. This is why I usually use .2 or less of a degree when seeing what major earthquakes followed after one of these points has been hit. It is almost like trying to trace back where a bullet came from that was fired hundreds of yards away.

Nature has patterns that follow the same course year after year, as the way weather follows wind direction, and clouds formations during a certain time of year. This is how these little cloud charts that sporting goods sell work to very accurately forecast the weather in your area in the next 12 to even 36 hours in some cases mostly by the time of clouds in the sky, the direction of the wind, and what season it is.

I heard Matt’s message loud and clear. I called a family member today whom has always kept their head deep in the sand, but I decided to try and reach her anyway.

She lives in a large metropolis and has the idea that if something happens she will “jump on the freeway and head north”.

I think a lot of people that are in the city think they can just “jump on the freeway and get out of dodge”. It’s not going to be that easy. Unless you are savvy and quick enough and know of a secret highway that can lead you to safety, then most people will not be able to use the freeway as an escape method. The problem is, everyone will panic, and people in a panic will also think about jumping on the freeway or highways with you. What happens next is, accidents, gridlock traffic, and panicked people, possibly freaking out. You’ll be going no where, unless you are lucky and have a motorcycle or dirt bike like that kid in Deep Impact.

My suggestion is this: If you can, get out of the city now. Look I know money is tight. I know it’s hard to make the impossible possible now. But I did it because I saw what was coming long ago. I did it all on a shoe string.

Look for a rental. If you can relocate, do it. If you can find other work, do that too. Sounds crazy. Right?

I used to live in a big city and I know if we stayed, we’d be trapped and maybe dead. I’ve seen how people react in certain panicked situations. I was in a theater one night back in 2005 when suddenly police forced us to evacuate because someone was roaming the building with a gun. That was my wake up call.

All I’m saying is, think about what you can do to ensure that you’ll be safe because I know one thing, and that is no one is going to be safe in the cities. I don’t care about what you’ve got for protection.

Take Boston bombings for instance; shelter in place, tanks on the street. Anyone who would have tried to fight back that day would be dead in the street.

Think about relocating and do it now if you can. To those attempting to bug out in the city, God bless you.

The fact that the phrase sounds antique should warn us of the scale of our folly. We have lost, given away, pawned the power we once claimed. We have ceased to be who we once were. Or at least who we claimed and hoped to be – The People. Now who are we? The Consumer? The Unemployed. The Unwanted? ”We, the Unwanted” does not have the same ring about it does it? And yet that is what we are fast becoming. It is time to chose. Sit in front of your television or computer screen and let it sooth you, until one day you too find you have have become one of the unheard, unlamented, Unwanted. The reality is we are living in an age of consciousness without a functioning relationship with reality.

Speaking of his peers in power, Woodrow Wilson said “They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.”

For those of us constrained to a 3 –D space perspective, what Woodrow is really saying here is that somebody with a vastly higher brain bandwidth is watching over the earthly activities from a higher dimension and from this all pervasive perspective, check-mates us at every turn. What distinguishes us from their superstates of consciousness and our consciousness lobotomy is they are using their pituitary and pineal glands and we are not.

Earthlings must come to grips with the extent of the reality model and kick up our brain bandwidths to get into the cosmic game of life or be its consequences. Operating at our limited consciousness level, will not do the job nor will waiting for some saviour to come and fix the problem if we are to be realistic.

The only solution is to form a functioning relationship with reality and seriously kick up the brain bandwidths with glandular rejuvenation and consciousness boosting hormonal secretions. See: http://fukushima50.blogspot.ca/ for a simple duck to water technique to access these golden brain chemicals. Only DMT driven bandwidths can provide the individual with the innate resources to hang with or compete with what Woodrow speaks of.

These entities have been using these bandwidth enhancers for millions of years and will continue to rule over us like the victim sheep we are unless we too “Kick it up”.

@ dmitry. This was more of an explanation to everyone else that might not have any idea how this earthquake forecasting is done. You are so correct about eisenkrutz as many months ago I tried to be kind to this character because he has some degree of intelligence, but I found out like you said that he is a freak that is insane. He attacks me because he “thinks” that I hate all homosexuals. I have never gay bashed anyone, I only want to make sure that potential victims are protected from these deviants the same as I want potential victims to NEVER lose their self defense items because of these monster anti-gunners that think more of the criminal than the helpless people that have harmed no one.

I don’t hate muslims, but I do hate their cult that drives these oblivious people of all races into murder and barbaric acts based on the writings of this devil’s handbook known as the koran. I hate unfairness in all aspects of life.

I have seen esiencracks go after people that have never said anything about him like he wants to kill the person. There are people above that get on my nerves like the old coach, but if he was in need of help and I had the information that would help him I certainly would not withhold the information. Eisencrap on the other hand looks for every opportunity to do as much damage as possible to anyone that doesn’t bow down and totally agree with what he says and believes. Anyone that would say they want an entire group of people based on their age to die is not playing with a full deck of cards. This is not someone just word playing around, they mean it.

I know someone that is a criminal profiler and I have yet to show them some of these psychopathic rantings, but I would suspect what they would say. Until someone like this actually acts on these demented words, nothing can be done as the mental health system is totally overwhelmed. These are exactly the type of inviduals that decide one day to go people hunting. God forbid eisencrap is the type of person based on his pure arrogance that could be the true nut that dresses head to toe in full body armor and is only stopped after running out of ammo or after law enforcement pumps enough high impact ammo at him.

These anti-gunners and those that want to take away our self defense like england or other police european countries look for something like to happen to further strengthen their warped agenda of disarming people. Do I think that eisencrap is all talk? NO, I think there is a boiling cauldron of deep seated hate ready to blow. I have seen this sick person go from anger to a babbling raving maniac that one day attacked practically everyone over nothing. IF E is on medications, it would be a bad day for many to be in the way of him and his withdraw symptoms.

I am still not sure if someone is playing around with eisenkrust using his name, or if that is actually him having multiple on going conversations with himself. He sure has some of the signs of a very ill schizophrenic as I knew a girl long ago in one of my college classes that was sadly one that never got any help for it.

Death threats fly as $100 million of Bitcoins disappear from Sheep Marketplace

December 04, 2013 — Techworld — First came the closure of criminal underground Silk Road, now an apparently vast theft of Bitcoins from one of the sites that replaced it, Sheep Marketplace. Are the users of darkweb markets now being targeted by criminals?

A weekend message on the Tor-based Sheep Marketplace claimed that 5,400 Bitcoins (worth about $5.6 million) had been stolen with the message, “we are sorry to say, but we were robbed on Saturday 11/21/2013 by vendor EBOOK101. This vendor found bug in system and stole 5400 BTC – your money, our provisions, all was stolen.”

That would have been bad enough but estimates since then suggest that the true scale of the theft could run as high as almost 100,000 BTC, equivalent to more than $100 million in the real world.

Looks like the law is catching up to the bitcoin drug/money laundering scheme as well:

U.S. government agents have arrested Charlie Shrem, the CEO of Bitcoin exchange BitInstant, charging him with laundering money for customers of online drug bazaar Silk Road.

The U.S. attorney in the Southern District of New York said Shrem helped someone he hadn’t met in person, Robert Faiella, sell more than $1 million worth of bitcoins to Silk Road customers. Faiella, a 52-year-old Florida man, allegedly ran an underground Bitcoin exchange using the alias BTCKing.

Shrem was arrested at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on Sunday, and Faiella was arrested at his home in Cape Coral, Fla., on Monday, prosecutors said. Both are charged with conspiracy to launder money and operating an unlicensed money transmitting business. Additionally, Shrem faces a charge for not tipping off the feds to what was allegedly going on.

Related story: Inside Silk Road’s drug market

Shrem, 24, is a major player in the Bitcoin world. The BitInstant exchange, based in New York City, lets people buy bitcoins locally at more than 700,000 locations in the United States, as well as Brazil, Russia and elsewhere. It received a $1.5 million investment last year from Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss. Shrem is also vice chairman of the Bitcoin Foundation, one of the currency’s biggest advocates.

A look at rebuilt drug bazaar Silk Road

A look at rebuilt drug bazaar Silk Road

The Winklevoss twins said in an emailed statement that they are “deeply concerned” about Shrem’s arrest.

“When we invested in BitInstant in the fall of 2012, its management made a commitment to us that they would abide by all applicable laws – including money laundering laws – and we expected nothing less,” they said.

According to the criminal complaint filed in federal court, Faiella first appeared on Silk Road as BTCKing in late 2011. The black market website only let people buy and sell goods with bitcoins, and Faiella made a business of exchanging cash for bitcoins. That’s where Shrem’s bitcoin exchange came in handy.

Shrem sold Faiella the bitcoins that eventually made their way to drug buyers and sellers, according to an investigation by the Internal Revenue Service. Though Shrem knew where the money ultimately ended up, he never reported it to the Treasury Department, according to the U.S. attorney.

Federal documents cite email exchanges between Shrem and Faiella that show how close they worked together. Although Shrem never knew Faiella by his actual name — only by BTCKing — the young executive helped the older man avoid trouble. For example, when Faiella’s frequent and large cash deposits raised eyebrows at a cash processing company, Shrem advised Faiella on how to avoid sounding alarms.

The IRS claims the partners exchanged $1.05 million in bitcoins over a 10-month period ending in October 2012.

Faiella eventually ended the partnership with Shrem. By 2013, he was exchanging more than $20,000 a week for Silk Road clients.

To gather evidence against Shrem and Faiella, federal agents posed as Silk Road users and bought bitcoins from Faiella. According to the court documents, agents then traced the money they paid, which led them to Faiella and eventually Shrem.

Related story: Overstock CEO is a Bitcoin fan

Monday’s news is the latest in the Silk Road bust that began in October with the arrest of the website’s alleged founder. Federal agents managed to track down the website’s server, which housed transaction information and private messages. Some of that information was used as part of the Shrem and Faiella arrests.

BitInstant’s website was down Monday after the announcement by federal law enforcement.

Several lawmakers have called for increased regulation of Bitcoin in light of the currency’s heightened privacy, given that they can be traded without using names and are difficult to trace to an individuals.

During an interview with Russian media news group RT last year, Shrem called the current financial regulations “crazy.”

“They’re throwing me under the bus,” he said of the U.S. government. “They don’t like us.”

The conversions are way easier if you load lots and different types of ammo, but the initial outlay is considerable,
I am partial to Sierra Bullets, they are more readily available, locally we are real limited so online/mail order is the only way i can get bullets and cases or even primers and shot shell stuff.
Powder depends on what your loading, i recently started loading rifle cartridges with Vihavouri N140 because i can buy 8# kegs from the local gun shop,,, so cleaned em out because powder is few and far around here,,, the N140 can load 223 Rem and 308 Win witch i like,,

      • Colonel says:

I’ll take a different tact on the topic of reloading. I’ve done a lot of it (I used to compete in IPSC matches, so I burned through a lot of .45 ACP), and I currently have two Dillon multi-stage presses, a basic RCBS press, plus several of the little Lee hand loaders – and a big pile of components.

There are a couple of questions to be answered:

        1) What caliber?
If you are shooting a common caliber (i.e., ammo that you might find in any Walmart store), then any cost savings will be marginal, at best. If you’re shooting an uncommon caliber, then reloading is probably a good idea – for practice, and maybe for stockpile.

        2) Normal times shooting, or post-collapse ammo?
Reloading is a NORMAL TIMES activity. If you’re thinking of reloading as a way to have ammo when you can’t buy it at the store, then rethink your plans. Raw components (especially primers) are not a good way to store ammo for the long term. A fully assembled cartridge is sealed from exposure to the elements and is going to remain reliable for a whole lot longer than a box of primers sitting on a shelf in an un-airconditioned environment. Take the money you would spend on reloading equipment and components and use it to buy factory ammo.

Reloading is a great way to assemble ammo to keep in practice, which should be a top priority for anyone who owns a defense weapon. It is, generally speaking, a poor allocation of funds and a poor way to maintain an ammunition stockpile.

If you want to get a little Lee-loader (the little hand operated set) in a revolver size, fine. I have a couple of them in .38 spcl for use as barter items.

If I had it to do over again, I doubt that I would go the reloading route. If I was doing precision rifle, then being able to tweak a load for my specific rifle would make reloading a good idea. For most of what I do (practical pistol and 100 yards or less carbine shooting) buying factory ammo in bulk is the better way to go – especially when you consider that we ALL have limited time available.

Think long and hard before deciding that reloading is a wise move for a post-collapse ammunition supply. It might be for you, but for most folks, it is not the best choice.

We all have to wonder why alt-media sources like SHTFPlan or InfoWars will not interview Dr. Judy Woods. There’s a reason and it has to do with Matt’s warning. We all need to become aware of this extraordinary threat. Read the book and you’ll understand why not even the alt-media will cover this truth.

Jake, you jogged my memory. Back when Clinton was Prez, one of the Marine helicopters used to transport the Prez crashed in an open field. There was little damage and no fire, but all the crew members were dead and had burns. There were accusations that it had been forced down by a defense contractor who had been testing a microwave beam weapon nearby. These beam weapons are said to be able to destabilize steel structures. Hmm.

The Drudge report is the first thing I check everyday. It is one of the most informative out there. I then come to this site and love Mac’s articles, and then I always check to read BI’s posts. Love it! I had to say that today is a good day to be a prepper. I am in south-central NC and just rode past my local grocery store out of curiosity. Normally this time of day there are not even ten cars in the parking lot. Today I counted 86..And all I needed was cat food..The genny is fired up and ready. So we will be enjoying Leon!

I love Drudge, don,t get me wrong…by why is the article written as though we’re trying to decypher Nostradamus? If Drudge has got some inside info, why not warn us in plain English? That not mysterious enough? Not like he’s some long-dead mystic…just ASK HIM what he meant…

      I appreciate BI’s contribution to the article…
seems logical for an article about having an
exit plan, in the general collapse sense.
Instead of good suggestions, too many on here
turn it into a war of words.

Excellent article and it contains wisdom. A huge disaster will eliminate the electrical grid and gasoline supplies among other things. Mountain bikes with many spare tires, air pumps and spare parts will be good to have, as will horses, donkeys and mules if you are in the country. A few pairs of good walking boots and shoes too.

City folks and apartment dwellers such as myself will mostly die off, if it lasts longer than a few months. Obviously the best place to survive is in the remote country with natural water, good soil and a self defense pact with the neighbors.

    74. The race that is constantly attacking us is the same race that Drudge is a part of. It is a race that attends synagogues. Therefore, I am not at all suprised if he has”inside” information. The key here is if you notice lots of these people leaving the country then you know you need to leave too. However, they worked so hard to take over this country, why would they leave it? It is most likely a financial collapse or another wall street jewish theft of everyone’s investments, just like 2008. John 8:44-47, READ it.

Super Bowl XLVIII is a level one national security event declared by the Department of Homeland Security allowing Homeland Security Presidential Directive 5 to kick in. The directive means the federal government considers the game to be a possible terrorist target and provides authority for the feds to act as the lead in all security operations in New Jersey and adjacent New York.

Snakebite victim charged $89,000 for 18-hour hospital stay

      By Dylan Stableford, Yahoo News

A snakebite victim who was treated at a North Carolina hospital came away with more than just fang marks when he received an $89,227 bill for an 18-hour stay.
Eric Ferguson, 54, from Mooresville, N.C., was taking out the trash at his home last August when he was bitten on the foot by a snake. He drove himself to Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, where he was treated with anti-venom medicine.
According to his bill, the hospital charged $81,000 for a four-vial dose of the medication.
Shocked at the price tag, Ferguson told the Charlotte Observer he and his wife found the same vials online for retail prices as low as $750.
Ferguson, who is insured, said his care was “beyond phenomenal.”
“It was just the sticker shock,” he said.

Because the hospital has a contract with Ferguson’s insurer, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, it reduced the total bill to $20,227. According to the Observer, the couple paid $5,400 out of pocket to cover their deductible and co-pay.
The hospital defended its prices, saying it has to charge prices higher than retail because of the various discounts it is required to give insurers.
“We are required to give Medicare one level of discount from list price, Medicaid another, and private insurers negotiate for still others,” officials told the newspaper. “If we did not start with the list prices we have, we would not end up with enough revenue to remain in operation.”
The hospital added: “Our costs for providing uncompensated care are partially covered by higher bills for other patients.”

Would be three times that charge with Obamacare!

    81. Mr. Anomilus says:

Most of us, the vast majority, don’t have an “exit plan” because we are so beat down economically, that we can’t possibly afford one, even if we wanted one. We can’t afford to stay, and we can’t afford to go. For us, it will soon be reduced to the simpler, more brutal equation of fight and/or die.

So the more important question becomes, “Ok, we can’t afford to exit, so what is our plan to stay and fight for our freedom?”

America needs a battle plan, a lot more more than it needs an exit plan.

Drudge should use his “bully pulpit” to raise the question, and keep raising it, until it becomes the main topic of discussion, and people begin to publicly answer the question, and form an organized, or at least synchronized, resistance effort.

I believe we should begin by exercising our last peaceful right and option, which is a national general tax strike, wherein we stop paying ALL federal taxes, and if that doesn’t get their attention, then we expand it to a general labor strike.

The American people MUST send the elites the clear message that unless the system works for US, it won’t be allowed to work at all, for anyone. To do this, we must hit them where it hurts most and economically “shun” the elites. We ARE “the economy” and we WILL be and have an economy, by trading with each other. We do NOT need them, they are the parasites that need us, and we can’t let them forget it. If they truly feel they no longer need us, then we no longer need them, and THEY must go, not us.

Unless the American people do this first, we will not have the moral high ground to take it to an armed resistance. God will not bless our resistance unless we first make every peaceful effort to reign in the rogue, hijacked U.S. government, regain our freedom, and to avoid the need for violence.

      I repeat:

AMERICA DOESN’T NEED AN EXIT PLAN, BUT A BATTLE PLAN.

      • Calgacus says:

Im with you except for the federal tax problem. If you dont have property to lose, no issue. Take a vaca in prison for all I care.
But quite a bit of what you said should become a post here. We should stop supporting Hollywood and most TV shows. We should stop buying shit made in China. The less we buy in box stores the better. Dont use credit cards or debit cards, pay cash. When you can buy underground.
Stop wasting time fighting shit you cant control. Eisenstein comes to mind and Libtards are a losing battle.

        Galt lives.

      • Churchill says:

Indeed, Preservation without Reservation. Executive Orders, Policies, Congressional complacency and compromise to Senate senility and surrender just might lead to eventual Anarchy and occasionally to factional in-fighting of minute wanna-be Dictatorships within the confines of their own enlarged back-yards, Communities, City Blocks, Counties and etc. as a prelude to complete Authoritarianism. Perhaps, Pinocchiobama’s ‘Wealth Re-Distribution and Deletion’ is being a prelude to ‘Population Re-Distribution and Deletion’. As like in the America’s, Africa, Europe, Mid East, Asia, the Moneychangers are entertained by the habits and character of their enslaved as they pit one against the other for profit and control. ‘Exit Plans’ and Escape plans are deceiving as, there is no-where to run.

    82. Mr. Anomilus says:

95% of Americans don’t need an exit plan. They can’t afford one.

What 95% of Americans need is a battle plan. They can’t afford not to have one.
