Look What This ‘Conspiracy Theorist’ Had To Say Back in 1984: “A Disgusting Procedure For A Professed Free Society”

Ron Paul - RevolutionaryBack in 1984, well before most Americans had ever heard of mobile phones or used a computer, the Federal government was hard at work mining whatever data they could get their hands on.

President Reagan was in office and given his staunch stance on limited government no one could possibly have suspected that he, of all people, would be the Commander in Chief presiding over a fledgling surveillance state.

Despite the ignorance of our populace and attempts to keep the American people in the dark, one lone wolf on the floor of the Congress had the prescient insight to understand what was really going on… and where it would one day lead.

He’s one of the original conspiracy theorists… referred to by many is a quack or a nut for his non-mainstream views of government and his constant warnings of tyranny on our doorstep.

Today his ‘theories’ have been proven to be 100% fact.

Watch this short video of Ron Paul recorded on September 6, 1984 and don’t ever say we weren’t warned.

It’s now common knowledge that federal government computers are routinely used to compare lists…

Computer surveillance seems appropriate for 1984, and unfortunately, the wave of the future.

Millions of tax dollars are spent on this type of computer surveillance.

A disgusting procedure for a professed free society.

The irony is that it’s done by an administration that brags about its limited government philosophy.

And the little condemnation we hear comes from those that would involve government in every jot and tittle of our economic lives.

Why is it that it’s so difficult to defend freedom consistently across the board?

Via Liberty Blitzkrieg and The Daily Crux:

    Today, the sky’s the limit.

              • Sometimes we can’t listen. We are not in a place to listen. What we are hearing does not make sense so we shut it out or label it as wacko or tinfoil hatter stuff.

We all do it at some point in our lives. That is the problem. Those in power know this and so if they just keep things moving very slowly in their direction, we won’t believe what we see or what somebody else says they see, because it is just too strange compared to what be believe or have been living. It is referred to as the “normalcy bias” and we all do it at some time.
Years ago I read the once Governor Barry Goldwaters’ comments about the dangers of the Trilateral Commission and the Council on Foreign Affairs. He sounded all tinfoil hatter when I read it years after he spoke it, but he was dead on target.

I also, many years ago, heard a man very clearly denounce the United Nations as being “of the devil” and “the source of the comming biblical One World Government”. From my place at that time I was only able to raise my eyebrows and roll my eyes. But from the grace of God I remembered those comments and a few others, and many years later I began to see the truth in their words. It is a case of : if I had known then what I know now…

God grant me the the grace to see truth and lies and know the difference and be able to see how to act on both!

Meet Your New Boss: Buying Large Employers Will Enable China to Dominate 1000s of U.S. Communities

“Chinese acquisition of U.S. businesses set a new all-time record last year, and it is on pace to absolutely shatter that record this year. Meanwhile, China is voraciously gobbling up real estate and is establishing economic beachheads all over America. If China continues to build economic power inside the United States, it will eventually become the dominant economic force in thousands of small communities all over the nation.”

“Just think about what the Smithfield Foods acquisition alone will mean. Smithfield Foods is the largest pork producer and processor in the world. It has facilities in 26 U.S. states and it employs tens of thousands of Americans. It directly owns 460 farms and has contracts with approximately 2,100 others. But now a Chinese company has bought it for $4.7 billion, and that means that the Chinese will now be the most important employer in dozens of rural communities all over America.”

    6. A story i found a long time ago.

A Sufi teaching tells of a traveler who was crossing a strange land known as the Land of Fools. While walking down a rural road he observed farmers fleeing in terror. “There’s a monster in that field,” said a man as he ran past.

The traveler looked out into the field and saw a watermelon. So he called the farmers together and offered to kill the monster for them. He then walked into the field, took out a knife and cut the melon in half and started to eat it. The farmers were horrified and feared the traveler more than they had the watermelon. They drove him out of their world with pitchforks, screaming “He’ll kill us next if we don’t get rid of him.”

The following season another traveler found himself journeying thought the same world, and the same thing happened to him. But instead of offering to kill the monster, he agreed with them that it was dangerous, and by tiptoeing away from it with them he gained their confidence. He spent time in their homes until he could teach them, a little at a time, the facts that would allow them to rise above their fear of watermelons and cultivate the melons themselves.

The truth alone does not make people free. Facts do not change attitudes.

A search on the Baltic Dry Index brought up this article…News from the shipping markets

Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corp. announced today its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013.

“Net revenues for the first quarter of 2013 decreased to $5.6 million from $17.4 million in the same quarter of 2012. The decrease of 68% in net revenues reflects lower freight rates earned in the dry bulk market as compared to the same quarter last year, as well as a 57% reduction in operating days that resulted from the sale of vessel owning subsidiaries.”

“Seanergy ended the first quarter of 2013 with $176.9 million of outstanding debt. This reflects the reduction of our outstanding indebtedness by $31.8 million, during the three month period ended March 31, 2013.”

“Ability to Continue as a Going Concern”

Drivers Nabbed Attempting To Smuggle Truth Into DC

A Texas truck driver was slightly injured Thursday after allegedly resisting police during a traffic stop on the I-495 beltway in Washington.
47 year-old Nathan Hale Jr., and his unidentified co-driver, were both arrested and charged with smuggling, possession of contraband, and unlawful transportation of a dangerous commodity.
The event began when an alert motorist noticed a fluid leaking from the back of the men’s tractor trailer. The motorist, Mr. C. Something of Arlington, VA used his cell phone to call police. Said Mr. Something, “It looked really strange, like nothing I’d ever seen before. It was dripping from the rear of the trailer and had an awful smell. I knew immediately, it wasn’t anything we ever had around here before.”
When police stopped the truck, they discovered the dangerous cargo. Inside the trailer they found more than 6 tons of Truth, mostly in liquid form, sealed in 55 gallon drums. Law officers also discovered two small bags of high-grade Honesty with an estimated street value of half a million dollars.
During his arrest, Mr. Hale was injured in a scuffle with Detective Jack Bootthug, senior officer on the scene.
According to officer Bootthug, “I tazed him seven or eight times, but he just wouldn’t stop twitching, so I reluctantly had to hit him with my baton. After a couple of therapeutic applications of the stick, he got still and calmed down. In fact, I think he was unconscious. But that made him a lot easier to handle. My partner worked his chin to nod ‘yes’ when I read him his rights.”
Hale was taken to City General Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. He was then transported to police headquarters for booking.
Because of the volatile nature of the illegal cargo, a Haz-Mat team from Quantico Military Base was called in to help with clean up. The beltway was shut down in both directions for 4 hours, causing massive traffic delays. Seven homicides and 22 armed robberies were reported to have occurred among those stuck in traffic.
“It’s a small price to pay for getting this horribly dangerous stuff out of the capitol,” said Zippy Japanitino, head of the Homeboys Security Dept.
Most of the deadly truth was contained inside the truck and was safely disposed of at an undisclosed military base. The stinking puddle of truth which leaked on the road was quickly diluted with a high pressure water spray. According to Highway Department workers, the stain may be visible on the pavement for a few days but should eventually fade. Motorists are advised to keep their windows closed while driving past the area, to avoid the smell and to guard against any lingering contamination.
If they are found guilty, Hale and his co-driver face a minimum of 230 years at Guantanamo prison. In addition, the Justice Department is considering charges of domestic terrorism against the two. If convicted, the men will never be heard from again….

I also started reading another book weeks ago(almost half-way through it now), “THE END of the present world, and the mysteries of the Future life.” It was translated by an American author (I believe in 2008′) from the writings of a French priest on a series of talks he gave in France in the late 1800′s. So far, it has woken me up even further. :)

      Good Morning SHTF People.

Another day in the fight against evil and in the past couple of weeks we have realize just how screwed we are. The realm of possible intrusion into our private lives that may have been going on for years as they have compiled our everyday actions upon computer chips. Somewhere, someplace we are all in a file, at the fingertips to be viewed unbeknown to us. For whatever purpose. We now look at those wonderful gadgets of technology and convenience as instruments of our demise. To be sure, even as we know this we will not be able to give them up. Like a junkie on dope we are so dependent on tech. You can expect that every year the ability and capacity doubles in the field of surveillance. We can ask ourselves, at what point
did these wonderful advances become liabilities. Was it the breaking of the Public Trust? When we recognized there was Treachery afoot?
Many will awake now to what we have suspected for years. Aided by complacency/normal bias, we will still descend further into the abyss by choosing security over liberty.

The corrupt New York Times put the interests of the US government ahead of those of the American public and sat on the story for one year until George W. Bush was safely reelected.”

    45. RP is late to the party with his warning in 1984. Along with Hiroshima and Nagasaki, good old Harry Truman gave us the NSA in 1947. How did all this security business arrive right after WWII? Well, the international bankers that own the bankrupt USA decided to import all those German scientists and control specialists here. They liked the way these guys ran a lockdown nation and max control was needed over their newly acquired debt slaves here. It was called “Operation Paperclip”.

      Who owns the USA?

Of course Obama is going to send troops to Syria. Their mission is to find the guns that were funneled through Benghazi before someone gets killed and we have the proof we need. We have to keep a running list of the scandels so we don’t forget. They just keep throwing more crap out hoping we will.

The count down begins!!(NO not that one)
4 hours and 30 minutes before “EOB”
day CA time!!!!! Time to have a nice relaxing
drink (or 2) and spend time with loved ones.
      Have a blessed Fathers day
      weekend all!!
Sometimes the best way to be defiant to
all this madness is to really be thankful for what
we have at the moment, and don’t let anyone or anything
take away your Joy which comes from “up
above” (No, not from that drone that is spying on U,
“flip that one off”). Through prayer, circumstances can
be mitigated and mercy is there for the asking.
“Lord, have mercy on us and protect us from
our enemies…..keep them away Lord, for their
own safety” as they also have wife’s and kids
who would miss them dearly. :)

Sheptical, since you do carry on a decent conversation, we’ll just have to agree to disagree about Ron Paul. I do agree with you on everything else you’ve commented on, but I am awake going back to the 70s. As I stated in an earlier post, the book “None Dare Call It Conspiracy” by Gary Allen, published in 1973, was the book that started me on the road to discovering the truth. I know you’re not a troll; you don’t even sound like one. I don’t have any more faith in this system than you or anyone else. I know what’s coming to this land and still prepping for it. I will stand up and fight. You are welcome to join the fight. braveheart

Yes we all have a counstitional god given first admendment right to post our opinins. Ill never try & prevent or discourage anyone from posting their message or attack their rights. Thats the real test will you support the counstitional rights of someone you disagree with? I dont like(sctually I despise) anyone who would burn our flag or those lowlifes who protest at solders funerals.ut I must befend theircounstitional right to do so. Many if they dont like or cant refute the message will attack the messenger. I myself enjoy a spirited arguement. You cant achieve that be being agreeable. Everyone knows that when something or somene seems too good to be true beware! Dont ever worship or idolize other folks. the simple fact is their star doesnt shine any brighter than your own.
