“Like All Sleight-of-Hand Games It Cannot Continue Forever”

Spring is in the air, stock markets are driving higher than ever before, and happy days are here again.

    Or are they?

The facts are that last night Japanese machinery orders fell 13% in January, despite the Japanese government pledging to “beat deflation” with new monetary operations (read: printing money) that has driven the Yen weaker by some 20% in the last couple of months.  That move started in December and as such should have been reflected in January’s order figures – if anyone believed it in Japanese business.

    They clearly don’t.

Then there’s China.  They have a major property bubble problem, which is what always comes when you start printing cheap “money” (really credit) and allowing it to go into the real estate market.  In China’s case it’s built to the point of literal cities with nobody living in them.  That will eventually burst, and when it does you’ve got trouble.  China has the “luxury” of having an effective command economy since they’re a communist nation, but even that won’t change the laws of mathematics.

Finally we have Europe.  It’s a basket case.  Europe has failed to deal with its banks, it has failed to deal with its budget deficits and it is still trying to find a way to “pull forward demand” to fill fiscal holes.  It’s not working because it can’t — the leverage was never taken out.  Not there and not here.

We’re “printing” $85 billion a month and yet can only muster a 0.1% GDP print?  Let’s assume we manage to “rebound” and get a 2% GDP number.  We’re diluting purchasing power by ~8% annually!  Where is that going?  Right into the middle class and below’s pocketbook; like a thief in the night it comes and steals their buying power and that ultimately has to reflect in what they purchase — and thus what people sell.

There are those who argue that the housing market has “turned.”  Really?  Look at Las Vegas, where there are tens of thousands of homes sitting with people in them who haven’t made a mortgage payment in three years!

… The key question: Is this a stable environment or is it another bubble that will bust when cap rates fall?  And if the latter, and you erroneously bet on a “housing recovery”, are you going to get reamed twice in a decade?

In short what we have here is a market that is levitating upward not due to an improving macro environment but rather due to Fed monetary games.  This can and has worked for a while, but like all sleight-of-hand games it cannot continue forever, and won’t.  The structural imbalances that have been built over the last four years set the table for a snapback move worse than 2008.

This morning CNBS is playing a card that we “should” put forward fiscal policy mirroring The Fed’s views.  These clowns actually believe that the laws of mathematics have been repealed?

Give me a break.  The guy who decides he doesn’t need more than 2 hours of sleep a night and starts shoving coke up his nose to achieve that outcome may indeed produce more work with less sleep and appear to be more productive.

    For a while.

But eventually he has a heart attack, and the question becomes this: What are you going to do when you collapse due to the abuse you have heaped on your body and now are able to produce nothing?

Our economy is experiencing chest pains and rapidly-escalating amounts of coke are going up the nose on a daily basis.

    Source: Karl Denninger’s Market Ticker

Fundamentally, nothing has changed since 2007. The only thing keeping the stock market rising and the economy seemingly stable is the literal Trillions of dollars of funny-money being slammed into the system on a regular basis. They did it in the U.S., in Europe and in China.

As Karl Denninger points out, this is akin to a cocaine addict continuously snorting to maintain their high. It always ends badly for the addict, as it will for us.

There is a strong chance that we see a stock market crash, or at the very least a massive correction, in coming weeks or months.

But, there is also the possibility that it keeps going higher, an effect of the Fed’s monetary easing and cheap money being given to banks who then leverage that money in stocks and other financial instruments. In this scenario, as we’ve seen since 2008, prices for essential goods continue to rise. What won’t rise is wages commensurate with the price inflation, which means that things like food, gas, and electricity become so expensive that disposable income shrinks to near zero (or goes negative) for the majority of Americans.

    There is no way out.

All roads lead to a detonation of the financial, monetary and economic systems as we have come to know them.

    (Watch at Youtube)

When the economies of the world’s ‘super regions’ finally collapse, and hundreds of millions of people are left destitute and with no hope of recovery, the end result may very well be nuclear engagements across the globe.

          4. I would ensure that there were sufficient internment camps for the zombies, 7,000 “personal defense weapons” for the use of Camp personnel, and 2700 armored vehicles to help round the zombies up, rather than let them ravage the countryside;

          5. I would want ExO’s in place sufficient to organize the chaos and quell the insanity;

          6. I would WANT the population unarmed to make my job protecting them easier; BUT instead, I would direct all gun owners to register with their local Sheriff’s Posse to swell the ranks of legally armed citizens desiring to protect their community;

          7. I would be transparent about the potential threat to civilization …. and delay that announcement for as long as possible understanding that madness could ensue throughout the length and breadth of society; and to ensure that I had all possible preparations in place beforehand.

          8. I would rely on conspiracy theorists and Alt Media to spread their concerns and encourage others to prepare for “Doomsday” understanding that there are limits to what I can do to protect every individual American; knowing that some enlightened souls could read the handwriting on the wall and become ….

In 2012 the Indiana legislature passed a law allowing people to shoot anyone who executes an unlawful entry into their homes — including police officers. It’s designed to “protect the person or a third person from what the person reasonably believes to be the imminent use of unlawful force,” even when it’s the police or other enforcement agents coming through the door at 2am.

So far, members of our legislature not only want us to keep our guns, they want us to use them to protect ourselves, and they want to encourage police and other law enforcement operatives to obey the laws.

Mac, you used to have a good blog. I’m not blaming you or anything, I guess this is just what happens when you reach a certain level of people. Mob mentality has definitely taken over. All people are concerned about anymore is who is “right”. I never see any actual prepping info or anything useful at all for that matter anymore. Your site has become what your original readers hate.

I’m not going to call your site a sell out, I’ll let you read the blog and determine that for yourself. In my humble opinion I believe you have sacrificed quality for page views. Hopefully, at that point, they will at least try to understand WHY it happened and WHO is responsible. There are now millions who can at least partially answer the why, even if they can’t yet comprehend the who.

Nothing will turn them to God quicker than being tossed into the financial trash heap by the banksters. Most of what the sheep consider important will prove to be worthless. It was important only because the corporations convinced them so.

The collapse will be hard on many. Many will die. many will use their last breath for revenge against who they think caused the problems. It is imperative that we stay alive to educate enough of them to give their last breath for freedom, in exchange for making a bankster or politicians breath their last.

The collapse is coming. the corp wants you to think it will end the world and kill you. What it will actually do is OPEN a window for the people to fight back. The unknown is whether the People will use it.

      • BigB says:

Actual number of the shadow inventory is closer to 2.9. The majority of them are now the property of HUD via the primary mortgage insurance guaranteed by Freddie May and Freddie Mac. The you have another 2 to 5 million homes that are 6 months or worse delinquent.

Fredie Mac now has a policy that if you make a payment in a calender year the clock on forelosure starts all over. This is all being subsidized by the American Taxpayer. Then you have the Federal Reserve which is printing 85 billion dollars per month out of thin air and applying that money, or a big part, to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to pay the investors off that loaned the money out in the first place. They, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, are the insurers of these loans as mandadted by federal law that allowed the finaciers to write these loans.

To top it all off they have started making the same loans again. 3% down and credit score of 580 will get you into a house no questions asked. A guy who owns 3 homes outright and wants to put 50% down on a house cannot get a loan because it is not insured by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. Because the bankers know this is all going to crumble and they want to make sure they get the money they loaned with interest back fom the U.S. Government.

Think what I just said is Bullsh*t? Check it out. Talk to a real estate broker or some one who works at a home lending company.

Astounding and amazing isn’t it. Factor that in with no new jobs people are getting have the wages to afford a home not even in a 2 family income household. But because of federal lending giudelines the banks have to follow most people can qualify. Why is the bank the bad guy when all they do is lend by the government guidelines?

Good question, thanks BigB for asking it. You see when the home buyer defaults and the loan is kicked back for payment by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac then the bank still retains the right to manage the loan. So as in any contract the first thing that comes out of any proceeds such as payments or refinancing is the collection costs.

Now that the loan is delinquent the bank makes money all the way till that house is sold at auction or by a realtor. First thing out of those proceeds is a check to the bank who originaly financed it for collection costs. By the way 8 out of 10 homes in America are being sold on the steps of the courthouses for back taxes. The banks or federal enity holding the notes don’t care as the value is virtualy nothing. 30% of those are being bought by Chinese investment companies.

If these houses were put out on the market peoples equities in thier homes would plunge by at least 50%. As I have stated before the sh*t has already hit the fan and most people are just to ignorant to know it.

I am a Realtor. What you are illustrating is true. The market is literally being set up for the next mortgage mess, and we are no where out of the present one. Another program out there is the USDA loan program. Loans now being made with ZERO down payment, get the seller to pay all the buyers closing costs. Stick built homes only…. no manufactured (unless it is a land package deal). In a lot of areas, with an average interest rate of 3.5%, most borrowers can get into a home and a mortgage payment is less than the going rent rate. A home purchase with no financial “skin in the game” often ends up as a foreclosure. No real hard money lost due to no original cash out of pocket. The real irony is the 20% down buyer is going through underwriting requirements beyond belief.

Here’s a question for you more serious preppers? When shtf and the grid goes down and we have economic collapse and no one is working anymore, what’s going to happen to the nuclear power plants. I was thinking about it the othe day that we are surrounded by like 100 nuclear power plants here on the east coast and if no one is working/ the grid is down and you can’t keep the reactors cool, it can potentially creat multiple Chernobyl like disasters that would make most of the land unusable. It was something that I kinda just thought about and haven’t heard or seen anyone talk about and since I’m new at prepping and probably much younger you guys might have some input.

      • It has been discussed on here from time to time. The inplications of an EMP and the effect it will have on the upwards of 100 nuke power plants here is not so good.
After about 30 days the fuel will possibly run out for the backup generators that run the pumps to cool the rods. After they shut down and the rods heat up and spew radiation we won’t need any lights. We’ll all be glowing bright enough to see just fine in the dark.

East coast is toast if the plants can’t get diesel before the gens run out. Or a lot less time if they don’t start after cme. It probably won’t be the plants themselves that blow. It will be the used fuel dumps that are the problem. They will overheat in 1 to 2 weeks and anything downwind will be covered with fallout. It won’t be a big nuclear blast, just enough to get it into the atmosphere and the winds will carry it.

Everyone should have a radiation detector. If this happens, stay inside for a few weeks, then check the radiation. The heaviest radiation will drop out quickly, but after that you will need to clean the dust off everything, and scrape off the surface of the ground before anything can be grown. This includes any pasture that animals will be in.

I believe it is survivable, but most will not be prepared. Iodine tablets and a radiation detector would help a million fold.

There’s plenty of good literature out there for this, but some common sense goes a long way.

First, if you’ve had a “lethal” dose of radiation, All questions become rather moot—because you’re either dead or too sick to care.

How long you were exposed is rather useless information too, as you won’t have much chance of customizing any treatment/doses you may have, in your basement or root cellar. You can only guess and do your best with what you have.

As far as how far you are from the event, if you’re too close it won’t matter for much longer, and if you MIGHT be at a safe distance, the guidelines say to treat anyway, just in case you’re wrong. It will ultimately be up to your own judgment.

I’m afraid knowing the intimate details and calculations won’t count for much in that SHTF situation, since most of us won’t be living in a laboratory with all the knowledge needed to put those calculations to any use.

You’ll have to guess and go with your gut for the most part, tempered by common sense, tinged with caution.

I’d rather spend my time worrying about having the best preps at my disposal that I can, and the knowledge to use them, rather than convincing myself that I’m screwed anyway.

In short, nuke plants, as much as anything, and/or anyone, rely heavily on everything, including the “just-in-time” delivery apperatus to continue to function. No parts, no maintainence, equals eventual meltdown.

There are some interesting contacts with FD, paramedics and County Sheriff’s Officers who show up as guests at these parties.

Through our RN daughter I have met two ER Dr.s, 1 trauma surgeon, other RNs and numerous EMTs. A little cautious exploration with my dentist revealed a very scared man who really didn’t know where to turn to for some serious advice on how to get started becoming better prepared. I was able to tune him in to a few informational resources to get him headed in the ‘right’ direction and answer a few of his questions. The other day he showed me his seriously quiet little generator and a really neat little air compressor that he said could easily power all of his drills and such. I will probably have a job for him and his oral surgeon wife there in ‘Barter-Town’.

We all meet numerous interesting people in our day-to-day lives and many folks have hobbies and skill sets that might be of serious use after an economic crash or in an other SHTF scenario. Look beneath the surface and you may just be surprised at what you find. It costs nothing but a little time to cultivate a resource that you may seriously require at a later date.

I would much prefer to be associated with the local SWAT Team rather than the local Bass Club when things head South; it probably wouldn’t really hurt to know them both though.

There are many people that visit this site from California and the quake activity is really getting going out there. Today there was many earthquakes surrounding the San Jacinto fault, and many microquakes spreading out to other faults. This either means that the San Jacinto is gearing up for a 6.8-7.5 or the San Andreas is sending a lot of energy towards the San Jacinto. You can see much activity on the San Jacinto towards the Riverside area also.

I have a link everyone can see the faults overlaid earthquake in the past hour, day and week. right here: http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqscanv/

Click on a section of the map you want and it will zoom in and then you can scroll over a fault and see the name of it. If you go over the recent moderate earthquakes that were 5 pointers and then purposely downgraded by the atypical goverment so everyone is not too scared to high 4′s, you can see that there were on the San Jacinto.

Also you can notice all the microquakes that are all over the place on other faults. This happens with large earthquakes, but seldom with earthquakes that are 5 pointers. However before a big event this spreading out of microquakes occurs often. Something to keep an eye on very closely.

Depending on how intense, EMP can melt any conductor it finds, you have a lot of tiny wires in any solar installation and transformers are worse. Stand alone systems should do better than, hooked to grid. Remember an EMP pulse is fairly similar to a lightning strike on a power line. If you are on grid, If your Solar is properly isolated you had best isolate your house.

I have read that EMP will fry the blocking diode in solar panels. This diode prevents power from flowing backwards from the batteries to the panels at night.

You could shut off the breakers at the combiner box to prevent that. The blocking diodes are just a few dollars each so you could have some on hand to replace. They are located in the junction box and you would need a micro torch and heat sinks if you do not have power for a soldering iron.

Not all surge suppressors are created equal. You very much get what you pay for and research on.

It will not stop EMP damage that might be caused by the EMP interacting with the wiring in your house. A surge suppressor blocks energy passing through it at that single point. It’s designed to fail the circuit when enough energy hits it. The question is the speed at which it fails the circuit. If it’s too slow then energy gets through.

An EMP creates energy in wire runs, the longer the run the more energy that is created. Those hundreds of feet of wiring in your walls is sitting there waiting to generate that energy.

The length of the wires in the telegraph are why the carrington event created fires. It was able to generate enough energy which due to resistance generated heat which had the obvious result.

Based on my research, a repeat of that event in modern days would very likely see a lot of buildings burning up from the inside out. It’s hard to put out a house fire when it’s all inside the walls.

If you have never owned a handgun start with a .22 as the price of ammo (if you can find it) allows for cheaper lead down range. Pistols take a lot of practice to get anywhere close to being good enough with one to actually use in a self defense situation considering the moment of truth is going to be an adrenalin rush more intense than anything ever experienced in you life. First defense weapon is a shotgun and then go from there. If/When tshtf, take a double barrel and saw off for concealment, as who cares about laws when there is none.

Having independent ham radio capability IMHO has been overlooked by preppers. TPTB can easily censor the MSM, cell phones, and the internet if the need arose.

Problem is, it would be child’s play to radio direction find (RDF) any transmission of any duration, especially if a fixed base, thus making getting any reliable, trustworthy info difficult on a regular basis. It would be cat and mouse. One would have to, at least as I see it in my early stages of understanding, be nimble and quick with scanning communications, identifying which ones were useful or even trustworthy, and then be able to transmit back, pack up and leave.

High Frequency (HF) allows wide trans- continental, even world wide communication via ionosphere propagation while line of sight via Very High Frequency (VHF) is used for shorter local ranges. It might be easier to RDF the VHFs because they are line of sight with less scatter/skip.

Have been working on my Ham radio based entirely on portable capability with a
200 watt power transmitter powered by one of the newer lithium ferrous phosphate batteries with portable solar panels for recharging and suitable portable antenna with autotuner etc.

As a side note, I would be interested in any literature about how the resistance managed to operate their radio communications during WWII, or in any subsequent conflict where Ham radio was utilized. Any suggestions?

The resistence had been sent, by air drop, short wave transceivers such as Type 3 Mark II and Type A Mark III disguised as wine jugs, brief cases etc. The messages, sent in code, had to be very short as the Germans did have radio direction finding trucks. Also, to cut down on radio transmissions, the British Broadcasting Corporation’s, BBC’s, French-language service, send out messages every evening with their high power transmitters. These messages could be listened to on a home radio. But I understand the Germans forbid people in occupied countries from listening to the BBC. Some examples were meaningless (Flora had a red neck), some sounded like personal greetings (Jean sends a kiss to Nicole) but others had great significance to the resistence. For example, “wounds my heart with monotonous langour” was a call to action meaning the D-Day landings in France were imminent. If you’ve ever watched the movie, The Longest Day, this is part of the movie. Other messages told the resistence to expect an air drop of arms etc.”

In college I worked in the accounting department for a multi-level marketing company. The rep for the company that tracked our representatives told me even legal pyramid schemes eventually collapse so lets not feign surprise when we hear this one will too.

Stop paying for rent and utilities and all that other stuff you don’t need and reallocate those funds to getting prepared. This can be as easy as moving in with someone who does not prepare in exchange for preparing for them. You’re not a sponge if your lack of contribution now produces future benefits for them.

The reason the Federales are spreading like cancer is that the states have no veto power for federal legislation. The system was created so that there were three opportunities to veto any federal bill. The people have a veto in the form of the House, the States had a veto in the form of the Senate until they gutted State’s rights with the direct election of senators, and the feds have a veto in the form of the presidential veto.

I did not preach at you.

Finding fragments of Enoch in the Dead Sea Scrolls does not mean Enoch is older than Genesis, since the oldest known Old Testament text fragments were also found in the Dead Sea Scrolls. If you find equally old scraps of documents in one pile, how can you say one was written before the other when you don’t have access to the original manuscripts of Moses or Enoch. Supposedly, both were passed down orally before they were set down in writing. There are no actual copies of either book old enough to be originals, so there is no way to date them relative to each other.

I have read Enoch. I suppose you believe the giants were almost a mile tall. I’d like to see a regular size woman have one of those. Also Enoch writes about Noah. The best I can figure, Enoch died 69 years before Noah was born. And about the only evidence there is of a “scientific bent” is that he actually noticed the seasonal changes of the day length. And it doesn’t take a genius to figure that out. And the drawn out way he tried to explain it sounded like a student trying to make a term paper meet a page number requirement.

Your website is way out there. As an example, you mention on the Cherokee and Hopi prophecy page something about earth entering the Great Rift. I certainly hope we’re not about to be suddenly flung 300,000 light years closer to the center of the galaxy. New age gobbledegook, meaningless symbols and equations, and replies to comments on your site that are full of anger. The only good thing I found is that you don’t seem to be selling anything. Have you ever tried to wade through James Churchward’s books about Mu? That will expand your gobbledegook horizons. Read all five volumes and the follow-up books by Earll nnd Santesson.

I don’t mean to sound angry, but on your site you referred to members of my religion as harlots and the Bible as fairy tales written by the Catholic church, when most of it was written long before the Catholic church existed. That’s not a good way to make friends or influence people.

This is the last time I waste time on this subject area. I have a 600+ page book to revise and publish as a new edition, hopefully before TSHTF so I can make a buck.

Being hungry with no way to get food leaves a mark on you that lasts a lifetime.Later in life my family said that I was the one that was prepared for any storm because I was always stocking up. That was pre 2008, now it is known as prepping, and I am a prepper. Today I own my own buisness that has done very well until January 2013. So far this year my profits has dropped by thousands of dollars and there seems to be no end in site. But I am ready for whatever happens, I will stay in my home, I have everything I need here, I know from where the danger will come, and I am ready. And through all the years of strggle my most preacious metal remains my canner.

I, too, read the latest Imprimis. In fact, I am typing exactly what was written:

“Calvin Coolidge and the Moral Case for Economy” by Amity Shlaes:

“…Conservatives long for another Ronald Reagan. But is Reagan the right model? He was of course a tax cutter, reducing the top marginal rate from 70 to 28 percent. But his tax cust — which vindicated supply-side economics by vastly increasing federal revenue — were bought partly through a bargain with Democrats who were eager to spend that revenue. Reagan was no budget cutter — indeed, the federal budget rose by over a third during his administration.”

But Reagan as a socialist? Maybe you should learn the real definition of socialism instead of relying on the far-left talking points.

The .45ACP cartridge is not exclusive to the Government 1911 platform. Sig and H&K in particular, make very fine pistols in .45ACP….and H&K in particular makes them with double-stack higher-capacity magazines.

I am a big fan of the 1911 Government platform, BUT I will be the first to admit that the 1911 pistol can be very finicky when it comes to ammo. I once owned a 1911 that absolutely would NOT feed my hand-loads reliably. But those same loads could be fired in my H&K USP Compact with 100% reliability.

When it comes to out-of-the-box reliability in a .45, I would pick an H&K USP or a Sig 220 any day of the week over an out-of-the-box 1911. I’m not saying you can’t find a 1911 that is reliable right out of the box, I’m just saying that you are MORE likely with the H&K and Sig.

As far as picking between a 9mm and .45…there can be no real argument against the .45 being the better round as far as knock-down power is concerned. But fire-power is also an important factor in a defensive handgun. And a .45 in a high-capacity pistol (12+ rounds) is going to be a big gun. I once owned a Glock in .45 ACP…and it was just a beast to carry.

For this reason, I actually prefer a Sig 226. 18 and 20 round magazines are readily available (or were before this latest nonsense) and provide a great deal of firepower without a big weight penalty.

Bear in mind, in a SHTF situation, firepower may be more important than stopping power. You may need to engage multiple targets. And having more rounds between magazine changes could be a tactical advantage.

Ideally……a pistol should just be something you have until you can get to your rifle. But a lot of people can’t…or don’t carry a rifle in their automobile…and if someone is simply trying to get home, it’s much easier to carry a pistol without drawing attention than it is a rifle. If I am caught away from my home and the freeways are shut down, I want to become as invisible as possible. That’s going to be tough to do with a rifle. So….I’ll take my 226 with 3 extra magazines and try to disappear into the woodwork as I make my way home.

I am digressing here, but I think this is a matter of overall philosophy of purpose. What do I want the gun for? What kind of scenario am I likely to encounter?

The .45 is an excellent self-protection weapon. And in normal, everyday situations, is probably the perfect self-defense round.

But I think we have to start thinking in terms of very “un-normal” situations that we will encounter when it all goes to hell.

You are correct, only real problem with the 1911 is the grip, because the rounds are not staggered in the Mag it’s to long and narrow for most people. If I can use hollow points, I prefer the 9MM Browning Parabellum. MR Browning designed, both although he died before the 9MM was finished. I do not understand why they both don’t have amb safety 9MM seems to have been designed with it in mind.

@ possee. I sent a comment earlier with a link to the fault map with the earthquakes on it, I guess Mac hasn’t had time to okay it as of yet. The San Jacinto is a smaller sister to the San Andreas, and it is very likely that either the San Jacinto is ready to break as the northern portion of the fault is also active. OR, the San Andreas is releasing much energy and it has to go somewhere and the San Jacinto runs parallel to it. It could also be the Whittier-Elsinore fault ready to blow.

What I saw was a bunch of microquakes from a 4.7 to 5.2 size earthquake, other sites rated it higher in magnitude, which is not too common to happen. Usually you see a lot of microquakes spread out like this from a much larger quake or something getting ready to blow. The Microquakes were up to 75 miles away from the san Jacinto on various faults in all directions.

When Mac posts that comment with that link to the faults and earthquakes you can see what I mean. Even a 6.0 is not usually big enough to get this widespread quake activity away from the fault. This activity tells me that the quake went through the whole fault system and something is warming up that is much bigger. I have seen this before a big earthquake hit other areas, not always by any means, maybe 1/3 to 1/2 the time. Still IF I lived in southern California I would sure be storing up some extra supplies while I still could, it couldn’t hurt.

In High School, who had the most rumors against them? Was it not the nice looking cheerleader, or the QB? Or, someone that was leading or winning at something. Leadership and success creates jelousy and sometimes hatred.

The best thing to do is keep living and sharing your ideas. Once they get to you, then they got you. That is what they want. They want to get under your skin and make you leave.

Don’t change a successful blog too much, or even at all. I have seen many blogs change because people complain about the trolls. They make changes and then their traffic flows go way down. The trolls win!!!! I have seen a sports blog go from 100 comments per day or more go down to just 2 comments per week because of changes they made to get rid of trolls.

BO and those that hate freedom are trying to dissolve the site and many others as much as possible before they have an excuse to censor the internet like North Korea does. I just am trying to appeal to the better sense of everyone out there that is NOT A PAID troll, to just try not to play into BO’s plan. The paid trolls are obvious and should be red thumbed and forgotten about.

Those others that are intelligent, but insist on hating a race, a religion, or whatever are not trolls but very angry and frustrated with the terrible conditions of the country but are dimishing the quality of the site a lot and preventing other brilliant people from commenting with ideas that can help us all a lot. Those are the people I am asking to please consider the betterment of the site and everyone out there and try not to vent so much intense hate. It is a big turn off for those that want to comment, but don’t want to be part of this. We all have such little time and I just wish everyone would see this and try to add what they know as much as possible before…………………

We are trying to accumulate as much information as possible before the internet is banned, and I just wish that more people that have been going crazy with anger would see this and cut the liability out at least somewhat. There have been hundreds of comments each time, but also dozens, if not a couple hundred sometimes, comments that most people just don’t like at all.

I would enjoy hearing from the thousands of people that DON’T comment on their ideas of what is coming, how to plan for it, anything that will give us some input and ideas. Many of these wraths of tempers are unfortunately stopping many from commenting. Let’s just hope that others see this and see that their well being as well as everybody’s is not benefitting from their tantrums.

@ OutWest. I think my wires are getting crossed with everything that is going on. I have been so jittery the past 3-4 days and I don’t know if I am sensing something or just a little whacked out in the head. I can’t put my finger on it, but something is really wrong. This earthquake today in southern California really tells me along with the Prince Edward Islands swarm still continuing that stress on the plates are building. I guess I am just a little sick and tired of seeing these meaningless posts taking up space with the extremely valuable information that people take much of their own time to share with us.

I see this site as one of the few left that haven’t succumbed to the Big Brother snagging of your E-mail and much other persoanl information to make a comment, and in my own little pathetic way I am trying to protect it and keep it as successful as possible. I didn’t mean you any disrespect at all as you and so many others contribute much to the site.

I suppose what I am trying to say is that I feel like each day goes by it gets closer to midnight for all of us. Hopefully more and more people will see this and hit it into high gear and throw that extra case of food or water into their shopping baskets, get that extra box of ammo, maybe double check their supplies. Instead of doing a spring cleaning, do a spring survival uptick of their supplies and what they are going to do IF and WHEN it strikes.

@ JustMe. You bring up an excellent question about sensing earthquakes. Yes I do, and so do everyone else to some degree because we all have electric impulses that fire off in our bodies; our brains and nervous systems. Pressures on the piezoelectric quartz crystals give off a charge, and during the tension build ups before a major earthquake these electric charges grow much stronger. This is one explanation for what is called earthquake lights, minutes, hours, or days before the earthquake strikes. Many people have mistaken these lights for extraterrestrail spacecraft. People and animals can feel these distrubaances even at long distances.

Something also with earthquakes are high pitched radio signals given off. Before the 1989 earthquake in San Francisco naval ships picked up what they thought was a Soviet submarine transmitting signals, it was the earthquake building up to bring a day later. Animals, especially dogs can hear these audio signals. Ants often go nuts before earthquakes because of this. People with exceptional hearing often pick this up. This can lead to headaches with people also as a sign of something coming.

Another precursor to earthquakes are gasses that come up and people can have all sorts of symptoms from these. Sometimes during calm temperature inversions these gasses can cause extremely eerie looking fogs.

One of the most pronounced earthquake feelings come from the planet’s magnetic field being imbalanced. JustOneGuy could talk much more about the Sun’s influnce on the Earth’s magnetic field, but it has look been thought that this can be the straw that breaks the fault’s back. Many birds are very affected by disturbances in the magnetic fields and will fly around in circles or act very disorietated before earthquakes. This can also cause people that are senstive to magnetic field changes to become jittery and “unglued”.

These are all physical symptoms that can be traced back to something that has a scientific reason behind it. For way too long people associated this with being psychic or being some clairvoyant, when in reality their bodies were simply a more natural type modified antenna picking up those signals that others could not as easily detect.

An excellent book on earthquake prediction using science to figure out why is: “When the Snakes Awake, Animals and Earthquake Prediction”, by Helmut Tributsch, MIT Press.

A man named Jim Berkland also predicts quakes. One of his markers are the lost pet advertisements, before a quake, pets freak out, and split. His site is sysygyjob.com. Have heard him speak on Coast several times, very interesting process he has. He also uses Moon phase, apogy, and perigee in his predictions.

                  Evening BI, justme,

                  If I may…

                  BI gives very good info on various of the things that we can be affected by, As far as the magnetic field issue, consider this;

Magma is actually not a vary poor conductor of electricity. Having said that, though it is very hot (though NOT quite incandescent) when it moves any charge contained within the volume/mass will be carried along with it…including any local aggregations of excess charge. Too,it is the case that like clouds – for whom the friction between particles serves to produce the prodigious charge imbalances we see as lightning – so also similar may be expected for the molten rock moving within the mantle of the Earth. Rememeber, ANY movement of electrical charge (non-neutral) is a current and as such produces it’s own magnetic field, Eh? Thus at times when there is otherwise no significant solar activity occuring we can often measure the changes in the terrestrial magnetic filed and directly ascribe those to various tectonic events. If the sun is very active (unlike now) it can be nearly impossible to say “Ah, A caused B”. To be sure Birds very strongly sense changes in the magnertic field of the Earth…we do too but not quite so overtly. Frequently birds will change course or fly into stationary objects due to these changeing fields. Far from that being the last word on geo-magnetic or geo-electrical effects it is also the case that the accumuulation of stress/strain in the lithospehere (the ‘hard’ stuff we actually stand on) causes ALL kinds of distortions..both electrical and magnetic…BI mentioned the ‘lights’ that are sometimes sen just before or during seismic activity.

I had read somewhere a long time ago that people with pacemakers or who otherwise had cardiac problems tended to show up at ER’s much more frequently around times of seismic activity…don’t quote me here on that though …I can’t remember where i read that at.

@ BI…How’s it going Friend! I’ve been ‘off-line for 4 days…out of town. I just got back in and I’m just trying to catch-up now! :)

And the bullshit keeps getting deeper. And deeper. And evidence mounts, daily. And we start to move away from their game, and work on our game.

And it hasn’t happened. And it should have. And we get laughed at. And we just can’t believe this house of cards keeps getting higher. WTF.

And this site, once filled with great tips and advise, is becoming an outlet for the frustrations we are feeling. The WAITING is maddening isn’t it?

When I was a teen – in the 70′s – I looked around me and saw VAST wealth, oftimes generational wealth…and I saw poverty as well, sometimes living no more than a few miles from each other. In my mind I KNEW something about the ‘All that I had been told’ was simply WRONG..that, in fact, something was wrong with the world at large. At that age I could scarce even get a clear picture of what I intuited but I knew that many good people I knew busted thier asses and got NO WHERE…EVER.

In time, especially after the Nixon years a peculiar cynicism began taking hold of me more and more. By the time I had reached my thirty’s I TRUSTED nothing that came from ‘authority’…ever. Proceeding into my forty’s I began to realize that quite nearly everything I had ever been told or seen in the media was a bald-faced, pablum-coated LIE. Few here, I think, have any reason left to beleive that this is going to do other than ‘End Badly’.

The only question at this point is “How Badly?” Of late, I find my estimation of THAT growing at an almost geometric rate…2, 4, 8 16….256, 512…you get the picture here I’m sure. Those at the TOP are GOING to remain there…over OUR dead bodies…I am now QUITE sure of thier intent in this. My plans now lie in moving to a more northern clime (WAY North) with at least 35 miles between me and my nearest neighbor, same to be implemented within the next 90 days.

After having seen what I have, I find myself unable to conjure any remaining faith in Humankind’s ability to not undergo self-anihilation…I DON’t want to witness that. Soon I will be in an environment where I will honestly meet whatever challenges arise…I will truiumph and live, or fail and die…but it WILL be honest and I will have no further thought for what will transpire in the greater world. Also, the waiting WILL be OVER for Me. Perhaps that is what is driving everyone, everywhere Mad…the waiting. A part of me almsot wishes it would begin now, immediately…all this shadow-boxing may well lead to insanity for those who cannot escape it. I’ll be around for a bit Friends…but not too long. Best of Luck to those who remain, sincerely. Oh, and YES…limbo sucks, that’s why I’m leaving.

      • Piper Michael…I have been looking for this for a couple of years but cannot find anything about a 100 year charter except rumors. I DID find out that the Federal Reserve was granted a 20 year charter when they usurped the money system. This was changed (by legislation) in the 1920s to an open ended charter that can only be revoked by Congress. I don’t know the US Code that relates this offhand, but I remember looking and finding this much in US Code. I think the 100 year charter is mostly an internet myth.

I’d be surprised if we make it into the summer. Went shopping again over the weekend and still prepping all the way til’ the last minute. Last night, I watched “The Hunger Games” and I had a hard time watching it all the way through. The scenario in the movie was that of a modern-day Roman Empire turning innocent people against each other for sport; for entertainment. I couldn’t keep my supper down. I know, I know, it was only a movie, but the scenario could very well become reality if we don’t stand up and fight the NWO. Some nights I break down over what’s coming to this land. Last night was no exception. However, I know where I stand and what I’ll do when the time comes. Everybody get all the supplies you can now while there’s still time and the FRNs will still get you anything. Best wishes to all. Braveheart

    50. Ted Gundy,an 86-year-old World Wat II sniper, was awarded the “black hat,” one of the highest awards of the marksmanship unit, during his visit to Ft. Benning, Ga. He got a few other surprises along the way.
He was presented with an exact replica of the rifle he used during the Battles of the Buldge and Bastogne, a 1903 Springfield A4 sniper rifle. It must have seemed like old home week as he hit the target — three hits for three shots — at three hundred yards — three football fields.
He was then given the opportunity to try modern equipment on a target 1,000 yards away. The Remington 700 is, according to the video, “one of the most accurate rifles in the world.”
At 1,000 yards, for every mile per hour of crosswind, the bullet moves 10 inches. Just like with the WWII-era Springfield at 300 yards, Gundy hit three for three with the Remington at 1,000.
Once you got it, you don’t lose it.

Not really. USA nuke plants are designed to scram (shut down). The power dies, the control rods drop into the mix and shut ‘er down. Well, if gravity dies then you could be in trouble. :-) Cherynoble? Not so. Those Soviets seemed scientific but I guess they were not practical. Seems Americans can not only solve the equation but also consider the consequences. BTW, Chernyoble (I know there’s a y in there somehwere!) they bypassed lots of other security systems in order to get the thing to blow; so, honestly, the did design the system to be safe but forgot the number #1 rule: idiot proof. Never assume the engineers, scientists, or politicians won’t be idiots.
If power dies in a nuclear power plant (huh????) then you would just end up without power and with a “crapped up” (the term they use) reactor where you’d need to keep the safety fence up to protect the curious cats.

I did a search and discovered I was wrong. From US History.org I found the true answer. There is no proof that this was an actual event. Whether you think it has merit or not….I was moved beyond words by what I read….

      Washington’s Vision
In the National Tribune, 1880, an article appeared giving an account of the “Vision of Washington” at Valley Forge. The account was told by a gentleman named Anthony Sherman, who supposedly was at Valley Forge during the winter of 1777-78. The story has been published several times.

Some people will say that it is substantiated by the fact that a copy of the account is in the Library of Congress. This argument of authenticity is misleading in and of itself. The Library of Congress has copies of anything published. That does not indicate accuracy of the content.

I am unaware of any eighteenth-century evidence that corroborates this story. The soldier mentioned as having a first-hand account of the “Vision,” Anthony Sherman, was a soldier in the Continental Army. However, according to his pension application, written by him, he states that he was at Saratoga under the command of Benedict Arnold at the end of 1777 and only joined the main forces in 1778 in New Jersey just before the Battle of Monmouth.

      Anthony Sherman wrote:

You doubtless heard the story of Washington’s going to the thicket to pray in secret for aid and comfort from God, the interposition of whose Divine Providence brought us safely through the darkest days of tribulation. One day, I remember it well, when the chilly winds whistled through the leafless trees, though the sky was cloudless and the sun shown brightly, he remained in his quarters nearly all the afternoon alone. When he came out, I noticed that his face was a shade paler than usual. There seemed to be something on his mind of more than ordinary importance. Returning just after dusk, he dispatched an orderly to the quarters who was presently in attendance. After a preliminary conversation of about an hour, Washington, gazing upon his companion with that strange look of dignity which he alone commanded, related the event that occurred that day.

      “George Washington’s Vision”
This afternoon, as I was sitting at this table engaged in preparing a dispatch, something seemed to disturb me. Looking up, I beheld standing opposite me a singularly beautiful female. So astonished was I, for I had given strict orders not to be disturbed, that it was some moments before I found language to inquire the cause of her presence. A second, a third and even a fourth time did I repeat my question, but received no answer from my mysterious visitor except a slight raising of her eyes.

By this time I felt strange sensations spreading through me. I would have risen but the riveted gaze of the being before me rendered volition impossible. I assayed once more to address her, but my tongue had become useless, as though it had become paralyzed.

A new influence, mysterious, potent, irresistible, took possession of me. All I could do was to gaze steadily, vacantly at my unknown visitor. Gradually the surrounding atmosphere seemed as if it had become filled with sensations, and luminous. Everything about me seemed to rarefy, the mysterious visitor herself becoming more airy and yet more distinct to my sight than before. I now began to feel as one dying, or rather to experience the sensations which I have sometimes imagined accompany dissolution. I did not think, I did not reason, I did not move; all were alike impossible. I was only conscious of gazing fixedly, vacantly at my companion.

Presently I heard a voice saying, “Son of the Republic, look and learn,” while at the same time my visitor extended her arm eastwardly, I now beheld a heavy white vapor at some distance rising fold upon fold. This gradually dissipated, and I looked upon a stranger scene. Before me lay spread out in one vast plain all the countries of the world — Europe, Asia, Africa and America. I saw rolling and tossing between Europe and America the billows of the Atlantic, and between Asia and America lay the Pacific.

“Son of the Republic,” said the same mysterious voice as before, “look and learn.” At that moment I beheld a dark, shadowy being, like an angel, standing or rather floating in mid-air, between Europe and America. Dipping water out of the ocean in the hollow of each hand, he sprinkled some upon America with his right hand, while with his left hand he cast some on Europe. Immediately a cloud raised from these countries, and joined in mid-ocean. For a while it remained stationary, and then moved slowly westward, until it enveloped America in its murky folds. Sharp flashes of lightning gleamed through it at intervals, and I heard the smothered groans and cries of the American people.

A second time the angel dipped water from the ocean, and sprinkled it out as before. The dark cloud was then drawn back to the ocean, in whose heaving billows in sank from view. A third time I heard the mysterious voice saying, “Son of the Republic, look and learn,” I cast my eyes upon America and beheld villages and towns and cities springing up one after another until the whole land from the Atlantic to the Pacific was dotted with them.

Again, I heard the mysterious voice say, “Son of the Republic, the end of the century cometh, look and learn.” At this the dark shadowy angel turned his face southward, and from Africa I saw an ill omened specter approach our land. It flitted slowly over every town and city of the latter. The inhabitants presently set themselves in battle array against each other. As I continued looking I saw a bright angel, on whose brow rested a crown of light, on which was traced the word “Union,” bearing the American flag which he placed between the divided nation, and said, “Remember ye are brethren.” Instantly, the inhabitants, casting from them their weapons became friends once more, and united around the National Standard.

“And again I heard the mysterious voice saying “Son of the Republic, look and learn.” At this the dark, shadowy angel placed a trumpet to his mouth, and blew three distinct blasts; and taking water from the ocean, he sprinkled it upon Europe, Asia and Africa. Then my eyes beheld a fearful scene: From each of these countries arose thick, black clouds that were soon joined into one. Throughout this mass there gleamed a dark red light by which I saw hordes of armed men, who, moving with the cloud, marched by land and sailed by sea to America. Our country was enveloped in this volume of cloud, and I saw these vast armies devastate the whole county and burn the villages, towns and cities that I beheld springing up. As my ears listened to the thundering of the cannon, clashing of sword, and the shouts and cries of millions in mortal combat, I heard again the mysterious voice saying, “Son of the Republic, look and learn” When the voice had ceased, the dark shadowy angel placed his trumpet once more to his mouth, and blew a long and fearful blast. “Instantly a light as of a thousand suns shone down from above me, and pierced and broke into fragments the dark cloud which enveloped America. At the same moment the angel upon whose head still shone the word Union, and who bore our national flag in one hand and a sword in the other, descended from the heavens attended by legions of white spirits. These immediately joined the inhabitants of America, who I perceived were will nigh overcome, but who immediately taking courage again, closed up their broken ranks and renewed the battle.

Again, amid the fearful noise of the conflict, I heard the mysterious voice saying, “Son of the Republic, look and learn.” As the voice ceased, the shadowy angel for the last time dipped water from the ocean and sprinkled it upon America. Instantly the dark cloud rolled back, together with the armies it had brought, leaving the inhabitants of the land victorious!

Then once more I beheld the villages, towns and cities springing up where I had seen them before, while the bright angel, planting the azure standard he had brought in the midst of them, cried with a loud voice: “While the stars remain, and the heavens send down dew upon the earth, so long shall the Union last.” And taking from his brow the crown on which blazoned the word “Union,” he placed it upon the Standard while the people, kneeling down, said, “Amen.”

The scene instantly began to fade and dissolve, and I at last saw nothing but the rising, curling vapor I at first beheld. This also disappearing, I found myself once more gazing upon the mysterious visitor, who, in the same voice I had heard before, said, “Son of the Republic, what you have seen is thus interpreted: Three great perils will come upon the Republic. The most fearful is the third, but in this greatest conflict the whole world united shall not prevail against her. Let every child of the Republic learn to live for his God, his land and the Union.” With these words the vision vanished, and I started from my seat and felt that I had seen a vision wherein had been shown to me the birth, progress, and destiny of the United States.

I will break with the above BS and stick to what this article is about… lol

Anyway, yeah, the US stock market is being inflated by Helicopter Ben and his $85B a month of FREE money. He has a printing press that he can command to run 24/ and, look! We’re rich! Only problem is, money is NOT wealth. It is how we keep track of wealth – a scoring mechanism, if you will.

That $85B goes to the big banks that own the Fed (what a surprise!). They sell the Fed their worthless crap mortgages and the Fed gives them crap fiat for it… at FULL price, no less. Some also finds its way from there to stocks because not all of the banksters are in love with UST bonds.

What really gets me in all this is not that stock prices are being inflated higher but that so many people do not see the bottom in gold and silver now. This is a stackers dream environment, where we can convert MUCH fiat paper into something of REAL value. And silly people actually accept our little green and gray paper coupons for gold and silver! Wha-Ha!

Central banks may be run by a bunch of SOBs but they DO know money when they see it and they are buying gold in multi-ton quantities. If fact their buying is larger than at any time during the past 50+ years. We should ask ourselves if there is anything about money that the know and we do not.

While there is no way to tell when all this paper fantasy will come to an end, the trend is pretty clear. Because of this, I am reducing my paper wealth over time and am converting it into PMs at a steady rate. Yeah, I will probably always have some paper but any losses there will be more than recovered via PMs rising as paper dies a well-earned and well-deserved death. If it turns out that they can keep this charade going longer than I expect, well, then maybe that paper stuff will be of some value after all. Either way, I am covered. :-)

      • Dk,
I’m about 99% with you on the Vision of Washington. I have trouble that he didn’t write it down in any of his writings. I have trouble with the whole “Son of the Republic” thing, when, the ‘republic’ wasn’t even a republic yet, and went through the articles of confederation before it got ‘there’… I have trouble with that…

Although I see the inherent vision and beauty, and I have the faith that the spirit would have visited the father of our country. I also see the proper symbology in the dark power that is picking out of the ocean to scatter drops of evil in our midst(the ocean has always been synonymous with the people) and in other countries. The conclusion also aligns perfectly with the prophecies of Dumitru Duduman, the Romanian prophet who said America would burn and be attacked by essentially the whole world.

I do not see the light at the end as a nuclear event, but it aligns perfectly with what is said in the prophecy of Enoch… that The Light of God would be seen on Earth, as the evil ones are destroyed.

To say that the Republic will go on forever, means we have to consider some fundamental transformations to the Constitution ourselves… to put it more in line with what a Kingdom of God for the lost tribes, a symbolic new Jerusalem, or New Zion would be. And it all begins around the definitions of money, real bills, gold, silver, and the meaning of life, that is not debt, but joy in the pursuit of happiness…

The existent problem with ALL the oriental cultures is one of “Face”, or rather the loss of. In the far east, losing one’s stature – “Face” – in society is not uncommonly case for suicide. Such is taken with the UTMOST seriousness.

Now here we have two cultures both of whom share this particular ‘affliction’ Abe is simply NOT in a position to step back from the edge of the cliff, neither is the leadership on the Chinese side of the equation…this is what makes this so particularly dangerous. The proverbial game of ‘chicken’ where BOTH are willing to go PAST the brink to get what they have played for…if either backs down then the loss of “Face” would not merely apply to them…it would apply to thier entire society as well.

The Japanese commited some truly horrific atrocity’s on the Chinese during WWII and BELEIVE me that will NEVER be forgotten by those or thier descendants – that’s part of what got things going so strongly against the Japanese businesses in Mainland China some few months ago. It doesn’t help that – in a wierd sort of way the Chinese have something of an ‘inferiority’ complex with resepct to Japan, historically. TWICE, China has in the last 800 years attempted to invade and conquer the Japanese, but in both cases the result was near complete disaster for the invaders…the Chinese that is. Check on the history of this…it’s interesting.

Anywho, what it boils down to is that anyone thinking that rationality will previal at the last instant before calamity occurs had best think it over a second time…. t’ain’t likely to go that way actually for the reasons listed as well as several other cultural idiosyncracies. Furthermore, as per the previous post (above this? it changes so much lately!) that our treaty obligations to Japan DEMAND that we intercede in a conflict in which Japan is aggr
