Leaked Doc Reveals White House Planning “Regime Change” In Iran

It appears Rudy Giuliani wasn’t lying.

Just a few days after the former NYC mayor and latest member of President Trump’s unexpectedly let it slip that “we got a president who is tough, who does not listen to the people who are naysayers, and a president who is committed to regime change [in Iran]”, the Washington Free Beacon has obtained a three-page white paper being circulated among National Security Council officials with drafted plans to spark regime change in Iran, following the US exit from the Obama-era nuclear deal and the re-imposition of tough sanctions aimed at toppling the Iranian regime.

The plan, authored by the Security Studies Group, or SSG, a national security think-tank that has close ties to senior White House national security officials, including – who else – National Security Adviser John Bolton, seeks to reshape longstanding American foreign policy toward Iran by emphasizing an explicit policy of regime change, something the Obama administration opposed when popular protests gripped Iran in 2009, writes the Free Beacon, which obtained a leaked copy of the circulating plans.

The regime change plan seeks to fundamentally shift U.S. policy towards Iran and has found a receptive audience in the Trump administration, which has been moving in this direction since Bolton—a longtime and vocal supporter of regime change—entered the White House.

It deemphasizes U.S military intervention, instead focusing on a series of moves to embolden an Iranian population that has increasingly grown angry at the ruling regime for its heavy investments in military adventurism across the region. –Free Beacon

The ordinary people of Iran are suffering under economic stagnation, while the regime ships its wealth abroad to fight its expansionist wars and to pad the bank accounts of the Mullahs and the IRGC command,” SSG writes in the paper. “This has provoked noteworthy protests across the country in recent months” it further claims as an argument to push a “regime change” policy.

For now – at least – overthrowing the Iran government, with its extensive and close ties to the Kremlin, is not official US policy; SSG president Jim Hanson told the Free Beacon that the Trump administration does not want to engage in direct military intervention in Iran – and is instead focusing on other methods of ridding Iran of its “hardline ruling regime.”

The Trump administration has no desire to roll tanks in an effort to directly topple the Iranian regime,” Hanson said. “But they would be much happier dealing with a post-Mullah government. That is the most likely path to a nuclear weapons-free and less dangerous Iran.”

    That will likely change, however.

One source close to the White House who has previewed the plan told the Free Beacon that the nuclear deal, also known as the JCPOA, solidified the Iranian regime’s grip on power and intentionally prevented the United States from fomenting regime change

The JCPOA purposefully destroyed the carefully created global consensus against the Islamic Republic,” said the source, who would only speak to the Free Beacon on background about the sensitive issue. “Prior to that, everyone understood the dangers of playing footsie with the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism. It’s now Trump, Bolton, and [Mike] Pompeo’s job to put this consensus back in place.”

The source tells the Beacon that Bolton is “acutely aware of the danger the Iranian regime poses to the region.”

John is someone who understands the danger of Iran viscerally, and knows that you’re never going to fundamentally change its behavior—and the threats against Israel and the Saudis especially—until that revolutionary regime is gone,” the source said, adding that “nothing’s off the table right now if Israel is attacked.

That said, Bolton is confident that an Iranian regime change will occur in the next six months:

A second source tells The Beacon that the Trump administration recognizes that the “chief impediment to the region is Iran’s tyrannical regime.”

The problem is not the Iran nuclear deal it’s the Iranian regime,” said the source. “Team Bolton has spent years creating Plans B, C, and D for dealing with that problem. President Trump hired him knowing all of that. The administration will now start aggressively moving to deal with the root cause of chaos and violence in the region in a clear-eyed way.”

Regional sources who have spoken to SSG “tell us that Iranian social media is more outraged about internal oppression, such as the recent restrictions on Telegram, than about supporting or opposing the nuclear program. Iranian regime oppression of its ethnic and religious minorities has created the conditions for an effective campaign designed to splinter the Iranian state into component parts,” the group states. –Free Beacon

“More than one third of Iran’s population is minority groups, many of whom already seek independence,” the paper explains. “U.S. support for these independence movements, both overt and covert, could force the regime to focus attention on them and limit its ability to conduct other malign activities.”

Without a regime change, the United States will continue face threats from Iranian forces stationed throughout the region, including in Iraq, Yemen, Syria, and Lebanon.

“The probability the current Iranian theocracy will stop its nuclear program willingly or even under significant pressure is low,” the plan states. “Absent a change in government within Iran, America will face a choice between accepting a nuclear-armed Iran or acting to destroy as much of this capability as possible.”

That said, President Trump made clear earlier in the week that US officials must make efforts to differentiate between the people of Iran and its ruling regime.

Any public discussion of these options, and any messaging about the Iranian regime in general, should make a bright line distinction between the theocratic regime along with its organs of oppression and the general populace,” according to the plan. “We must constantly reinforce our support for removing the iron sandal from the necks of the people to allow them the freedom they deserve.”

    1. Regime change has always been the goal for U.S./Israel in Iran & Syria.

Has nothing to do with the rhetoric of Iran obtaining a nuke or Israel being obliterated from it’s neighboring countries.

This has everything to do with business – U.S. motto is … “you don’t sell your oil in U.S. Dollars, we will invade and force you to comply.”

      • Kevin2 says:

Interestingly regime chance prompted/aided by another country is illegal. The US makes no bones about doing it and the UN is silent. Its laughable to see the term “free nation” regarding US “friends”. The US has reached a point of almost omnipotent dominance that nations are frightened. That US dollar dominance, largely the product of force, potential/actual/ business/covert up to invasion allows this “relationship” to continue. “Nice country you have here”. “Wouldn’t want to see anything happen to it”.

The US “white hat” has fallen on the ground and been soiled by TPTB.

Regime Change Begins at Home. Throw the Psychopaths, Neocons, 3ews, out of office and appointed Graberment positions of influence. Kick AIPAC out of the US. And cut the Military budget in half. Enough is enough.

Better get plenty of sandbags to set up your Hardened lookout post on your land. A mini bunker to shoot from when we are invaded.

The Deep State wants to keep Iran’s “hardline regime” there, just like they want to keep Assad in power in Syria–to ensure big oil’s possession of all of the stuff that oil-addicted Americans will pay their last cent to buy from them that keeps the elites in power.

I trade CL futures. I just read U.S. production of crude oil, condensates, and natural gas liquids will rise to 17 million barrels a day by 2023, up from 13.2 million in 2017, according to IAE’s forecast. As a result, U.S. production will supply around 80 percent of the increased global supply of oil, which the IAE sees rising 6.4 million barrels per day to 107 million barrels a day.

The rising U.S. production means the U.S. will become close to being energy self-sufficient, a huge shift from the era not so long ago when the U.S. was the world’s largest oil importer.

    3. The Deplorable Braveheart says:

FTW and Kevin2, good points but any US military intervention in Iran is doomed to failure. We don’t have the same level of manpower we had for Iraq under Bush Jr. and Iran is about twice the size of Iraq in terms of territory. Let the Iranian people do their own regime change if that’s what they want. I believe the petrodollar is doomed no matter what.

      • Kevin2 says:

        The Deplorable Braveheart

‘US military intervention in Iran is doomed to failure”

Many look at victory being the goal. Raise the colors, say, “we won” and thats that. In reality. ‘War is politics by other means”. “The very purpose of war is to obtain a political concession”. At one time it was, classic victory. Now its different. The US wants chaos in its wake. It wants to remove a functioning government replacing it with one that is dysfunctional. In this way no cohesion exists and therefore no resistance to US directives. Forget about “free elections” , “Individual rights”. That is window dressing for public consumption. Its, “You will accept the USD as exclusive payment for oil”. “You will grant US the right to military bases within your country”. You can now go ahead and kill yourselves and we will help. Its likely that the US / UK will pit group against group. Anyone remotely powerful to unify the nation will be disposed of.

War is more than Politics. WAR is FRAUD, cause they can’t figure out how to steal these Countries resources by diplomacy and business relations.

They just Grab stuff that ain’t theirs. Like The stolen land the swatters took in Palestine. Their slob belly’s are not full yet. More More More. Psychopaths, all of them. And the ones who want war,, are not the people that go and fight it. Its a rich mans global chess board for amusement. Stop participating and enabling them.

Its going to take a revolution and burning down a lot of banks, and Graberment buildings, and Garbage TV Stations. Time to shut down the Cockroach Motels, and clean up this pig sty of a country.

        • Kevin2 says:

          TharSheBlows

You might like to read Manifest Destiny by F. William Engdahl, its just out. The US has been hijacked for decades.

The quote “War is a continuation of politics by other means” comes from Carl Von Clausewitz. He is the author of “On War” which is probably the definitive analysis of war. I have read that its required reading at the US War College Carlisle Pa. Those “politics” are intrinsically linked to economic/resources. Sun Tzu “The Art Of War” is certainly a must read too. Its interesting that writings so old are just as applicable today. Human nature doesn’t change.

    4. the blame-e says:

Love this quote. It’s so telling.

“The ordinary people of Iran are suffering under economic stagnation, while the regime ships its wealth abroad to fight its expansionist wars and to pad the bank accounts of the Mullahs and the IRGC command,” SSG writes in the paper. “This has provoked noteworthy protests across the country in recent months” it further claims as an argument to push a “regime change” policy.”

Funny. Just change the names of the countries. The same thing is happening right here in the U.S.

How many foreign bases does the U.S. have? Over 1,000. 800 public bases and 300 secret bases. Betcha they are all there for some kind of regime change or another.

Funny. Just change the word “Mullahs” to “rogue billionaires and its the same thing. George Soros, Michael Bloomberg, the Koch Brothers, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, et al.

      Funny. [sarcasm]

      • Anonymous says:

We’re certainly not suffering under economic stagnation.

BTW, could you give a list of those secret bases?

        • Azrael says:

They are secret and if blame tells us it wont be secret anymore.

        • the blame-e says:

The same place I got the fact that the U.S. has over 4,000 military bases here at “home.” You don’t suppose the U.S. government and the Deep State is planning their biggest regime change for right here — at “home?”

And that regime change doesn’t involve securing our borders, stopping whatever the weekly flavor of immigration being pushed by the “New York Times,” the “Washington Post” and MSM, who won’t even say “illegal” or “undocumented” — it’s all DACA, migrants, asylum seekers, unescorted children (escorted by their mommies; and once they are here, by the rest of their immediate and extended families forever), the rogue billionaire George Soros sponsored boat people and caravans.

Sounds like an invasion to me. And where is our worthless piece of crap military?

      • TharSheBlows says:

        blame-e nailed it.

This is all about enslavement and enrichment by Tyrants. All based on Lies, propaganda and fraud. Iran has not attacked another country in over 200 years, how about Israehell? 15 hours ago these (((chumps))) sucker punched and bombed Syria. Using USA Transponders so they would not be shot at. Its all about the Fraud of War.

    5. Beaumont says:

“The ordinary people of (fill-in-the-blank) are suffering under economic stagnation, while the regime ships its wealth abroad to fight its expansionist wars and to pad the bank accounts of the (fill-in-the-blank) command.”

“More than one third of (fill-in-the-blank)’s population is minority groups, many of whom already seek independence.”

      Come again? Which country?

      • the blame-e says:

Until the people, and by people I mean the peoples of the world, rise up and eradicate the rich elites, the corporate oligarchs, the rogue billionaires, the wholly-owned MSM, the professional politicians, and the “Powers That Be” things will only get worse.

These groups want a monopoly on not just business, but politics, and government. They want control, and not just some control, or enough control but total control over the people’s lives, their privacy, their inalienable rights. These groups want it all. And even when they get it, they will be suspicious that we are still holding out on them.

Until the “Powers that Be” are eradicated, people will continue fleeing their countries and their homes, when what they should be doing is standing up and wiping the world clean of this filth.

The biggest cowards are Americans. They have the most to lose as they have no where to flee to when the country collapses — and it will. It most certainly will collapse.

    6. Divide and conquer.

Minorities are not getting along so go in overtly and covertly and stir up (diversity is our strength) more problems between the various minorities.

It resembles tactics used against citizens in the USA.

    7. out_of_time says:

      Regime change? huh…
      Oh, I get it!

    8. Heartless says:

Ever hear the words, “there’s 3 major forms of communication in the world…. telephone, telegraph and tel1-a-woman”? Granted, telegraph is now the internet more or less; but, I guess we need to add tell-a-politician to be sure to get most any secret out there.

    9. Well. How about that.

I was beginning to think empire had abandoned the PNAC and Wolfowitz Doctrine.

I guess Don John is getting things back on track.

You know, Brzezinski wrote about the need to take over the areas around the Caspian Sea which is right next to Iran. Turkmenistan has the fourth largest natural gas reserves in the world. Kazakastan has the second largest oil reserves of the FSU…second only to Russia. It, along with Uzbekistan are major producers of uranium. Uzbekistan has large natural gas reserves as does quite likely Tajikistan. Iran has a lot of hydrocarbons, too.

      All wars are resource wars.

    10. Sgt. Dale says:

Did it occur to anyone that this was leaked on purpose to impress both the mullahs and the population?

Talk of this type seems to have worked on North Korea.
      Just sayin.

Why would Iran be immune from the pattern? It isn’t. NK isn’t immune either. This doesn’t necessarily mean war. If a leader is willing to go in exile with a billion dollars or so that works.

The goal is to control the entire world removing all governments that have the audacity to say no to the globalists. Its fast at times, slow at others but tenacious and methodical involving business, media, social, religious, covert, overt and if necessary and appropriate, invasion.

    19. Harbard says:

The CIA already carried out a “regime change” I Iran when overthew he elected government in Iran and installed the “SHAW” to facilitate the British Petroleum Company to steal the oil. Just like Syria, Iraq, Libya, it’ all about the oil…

    20. Rock n roll says:

Trump is a Rothchild puppet and Rothchild wants ALL of the oil. Total global control is the only motive here.

    21. Martus says:

Iran take over was a democratic plan not republican straight from General Wesley Clark:

Because I had been through the Pentagon right after 9/11. About ten days after 9/11, I went through the Pentagon and I saw Secretary Rumsfeld and Deputy Secretary Wolfowitz. I went downstairs just to say hello to some of the people on the Joint Staff who used to work for me, and one of the generals called me in. He said, “Sir, you’ve got to come in and talk to me a second.” I said, “Well, you’re too busy.” He said, “No, no.” He says, “We’ve made the decision we’re going to war with Iraq.” This was on or about the 20th of September. I said, “We’re going to war with Iraq? Why?” He said, “I don’t know.” He said, “I guess they don’t know what else to do.” So I said, “Well, did they find some information connecting Saddam to al-Qaeda?” He said, “No, no.” He says, “There’s nothing new that way. They just made the decision to go to war with Iraq.” He said, “I guess it’s like we don’t know what to do about terrorists, but we’ve got a good military and we can take down governments.” And he said, “I guess if the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem has to look like a nail.” So I came back to see him a few weeks later, and by that time we were bombing in Afghanistan. I said, “Are we still going to war with Iraq?” And he said, “Oh, it’s worse than that.” He reached over on his desk. He picked up a piece of paper. And he said, “I just got this down from upstairs” — meaning the Secretary of Defense’s office — “today.” And he said, “This is a memo that describes how we’re going to take out seven countries in five years, starting with Iraq, and then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and, finishing off, Iran.” I said, “Is it classified?” He said, “Yes, sir.” I said, “Well, don’t show it to me.” And I saw him a year or so ago, and I said, “You remember that?” He said, “Sir, I didn’t show you that memo! I didn’t show it to you!”

*No wonder Iran developed and tested nukes in North Korea as protection against Western take over and another puppet Shah government.

    22. the blame-e says:

Has anybody thought to remember that the reason Iran hates the U.S. so much is that we pulled a regime change on them at least once already. Does anybody remember the “Shah of Iran” — Mohammad Reza Pahlavi — and his ultimate ouster in 1979? Are American memories that short? Are Americans that stupid?

      “Hello? Great Satan? Anybody home?”

      • Blame-e:

Unless you were an adult at the time, chances are, young people were never taught these things happened. Current events is a college course, but not a required coarse for most degrees. If not knowing equals stupid, most of us living in the USA are very stupid. And it is by design.

        _

        • the blame-e says:

Funny, the Iranians remember just fine. So does Europe. So does Russia. So does China. So does most of the world.

Any time you hear the word “democracy” think “bullshit.”

          • rellik says:

            Blame,
Elighten us, what was the last Democracy? I can only think of the city state of Athens around 500BC. Anything more recent?
I worked with Iranians that got out at the overthrow of the Shah. I have a little different perspective of Iran. Present day Iran wants an empire such as at the time of Darius. Then to force Islam( which came along later) on the world.

            • Kevin2 says:

              rellik

Its quite logical that the Iranians wanted to overthrow the Shah being they never elected him. He wasn’t “their leader” he was “our leader” of them.

Iran can desire an empire. I want to hit the lottery. Both have about equal chances of happening. The reality is the globalists want an empire of the entire world as their roughly 70% of it at present is insufficient. They on the other hand will get it and the saying is true, “Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely”. Are you comfortable with them having omnipotent power over the world?

            • the blame-e says:

Relic. Calm down. According to Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Party, the DNC, George Soros, and their ilk, the last democracy is right here in the U.S. Or haven’t you been reading the news about how Russia stole our democracy in the last election. [sarcasm].

Again, since obviously you are not the sharpest tool out there, we do not have a democracy. We have a republic.

So, why don’t you enlighten us. Loser.

              • rellik says:

                Blame,
                You do not “Grasp”
I have said many times we have a Republic, not a Democracy.
I just wanted to understand your comment
“Any time you hear the word “democracy” think “bullshit.””
Now I do, you are referring to Democrats and their misuse of the term. No need to get hot and bothered.
Chill out and have a beer.

    23. Harbard says:

Bolton let it slip publically saying that Saudia Arabia now has nukes, perhaps Israel loaned one of their 300 to their new buddies?

    24. aljamo says:

Repetively barking that Iran is the greatest exporter of terrorism in the world does not make it the truth. In fact that assertion is for the US easily brainwashed masses. That distinction belongs solely to the US military intelligence state. Haspel as CIA torturer in chief proves it beyond a shadow of a doubt. A nation that tortures will torture its own citizens.

      • the blame-e says:

Absolutely agree. The biggest, badest, meanest, most cold-hearted terrorist is the United States. Just look at FTW’s list above. al Qaeda’s got nothing on the U.S. The Taliban and are just local yokels. Iraq is a big terrorist nobody. Iran? The same. The next on the list? You guessed it. Israel.

        • Kevin2 says:

The terrorist groups mentioned have been funded and armed by the US / Israel / Saudi Arabia. al Qaeda received US air support to overthrow Libya which has the highest standard of living in Africa. ISIS was born out of that and received transport, funds and weapons from the US to replicate that in Syria. Some of the terrorist members go “off the reservation” but their organizations have roots with the above three nations with no doubt the UK too.

    25. Does anybody believe that Obama is done with being in a position of power? I know that Jose Gutteres of Portugal as U.N. Secretary General of the United Nations and that rules Obama’s bid out. I have a terrible premonition that Obama is coming back in some way. I hope it is just the flu!

    26. 2018 Is Now says:

Don’t believe the hype. There is not going to be a war with Russia and China over Iran.
Wake up. Iran is going to be a big part of One Belt One Road. Just like North Korea.
Starting to get the picture now? Lots of head fakes going on. Peace and prosperity.
      Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.
Russia and China big economic powerhouses, USA not so much. Follow the gold.
USA will be lucky to get a piece of the action.
Grab your floating deck chair. The Titanic is going down.
The quality of life will change during and after the reset.
      Leaked documents serve a purpose.
You can’t approach what is happening now with the mindset of 10 years ago.
Everything has changed. Don’t buy into the b.s.

    27. These “regime changes” are not working out as well as they hoped. With the exception of Assad, getting someone out of power is easier than getting a replacement that will tow the line. Erdogan in Turkey is becoming increasingly independent;they are probably working on a “regime change” for him as well. If I were a head of state, I would be thinking about whether they were working on a regime change for me. Why limit it to foreigners? California? New York? New York City? We can dream!

    28. “Leaked Doc”

      For urinary tract infection (uti)

      Take:

      d’mannose

D’mannose is in cranberries. It is a sugar but does not act
Like sugar in the body. Instead it helps to kill e-coli, the bacteria
that causes infection in the bladder and kidneys.

D’mannose is sold as a supplement in many stores, health food stores, and on line.
IMHO and that of others; d’mannose is superior to drinking cranberry juice because cranberry juice
has sugar which is not helpful but is damaging.

China is the largest consumer of Iranian oil. Another reason no US-Iran war.

    30. Dead Meat says:

“We are now faced with the fact that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now. In this unfolding conundrum of life and history there is such a thing as being too late. Procrastination is still the thief of time. Life often leaves us standing bare, naked, and dejected with a lost opportunity. The tide in the affairs of men does not remain at flood — it ebbs. We may cry out desperately for time to pause in her passage, but time is adamant to every plea and rushes on. Over the bleached bones and jumbled residues of numerous civilizations are written the pathetic words, ‘Too late.’”
