Jimmy Carter: ‘I Don’t Think There’s Any Evidence That Russians Changed Votes’

Former president Jimmy Carter has said that he doesn’t think that the Russians stole the election from Hillary Clinton.  He also had some brutal criticisms of Barack Obama’s foreign policy during a New York Times interview.

“I don’t think there’s any evidence that what the Russians did changed enough votes or any votes,” Carter told The New York Times in an interview published on Saturday.

Carter was a one-term Democrat who also noted in the interview that he and former first lady Rosalynn Carter disagree on the matter.   “Rosie and I have a difference of opinion on that,” he said. “They [the Russians] obviously did,” the former first lady said.  But Donald Trump also disagreed with the former first lady in a Twitter post, saying that it was Facebook that was clearly on Hillary’s side, not the Russians.

But Jimmy Carter’s interview unveiled a few other interesting quotes as well. The comments from the former president and first lady, who say they voted for socialist Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) in the Democratic primary, come as the congressional and federal probes continue to investigate evidenceless ties between the Trump campaign and Russian election meddling.

What was a little ironic, to say the least, was that Rosalynn Carter was upset that the Russians may have stolen the election from Hillary Clinton, but failed to express the same outrage that Hillary and the DNC stole the primaries away from her choice, Bernie Sanders. That one obviously slipped by the mainstream media, but anyone with half a functioning brain can see the hypocrisy in that phony outrage.

Jimmy Carter also said he’s eager to partner with Trump for a North Korea diplomatic mission. While his comments about his North Korea plan were brief, the former Democratic commander in chief addressed several topics, including the Trump-Putin relationship and his disappointment of Obama’s work in the Middle East.

“I would go, yes,” he said. Carter also said he has talked with Trump’s national security adviser, Lt. Gen. H. R. McMaster, about his intentions but was given “a negative’ response. “I told him that I was available if they ever need me,” he reiterated. But Carter didn’t stop there.  He criticized Barack Obama’s foreign policy and blasted the media for their often overtly and harsh coverage of Donald Trump.

The former president said Obama “refused to talk to North Korea more” and lamented the US drone attacks in Yemen, according to Dowd. “He made some very wonderful statements, in my opinion, when he first got in office, and then he reneged on that,” he said about Obama’s action on the Middle East.

    Hey Jimmy,
Go back to playing with your peanuts! No more DemoRATS are needed at this point.

    • Genius says:

Speaking of peanuts, be prepared dot com has #10 cans of peanut powder on sale for 15 bux. High protien, long life, no other ingredients, great staple food. 14 bux if you buy 6 cans.

      • Nailbanger says:

Thats a pretty good deal, peanut butter is a good source of both protein and fats that you need to keep fueled up, something good to remember is to repackage the #10 cans contents after opening it, will keep better longer, open it, take out enough for a few meals or a few weeks or whatever then seal up smaller batches with a vacum sealer, personally i like doing enough for a meal or two in each pack, with a small oxy absorber, helps contents stay good way longer

      • The Deplorable Braveheart says:

Genius, I LOVE peanut butter and have it in my preps. But Jimmy Commie…..I mean Carter needs to dry up and blow away.

    • JustMe says:

The left-tards only listen to Jimmy Carter when he says something they want to hear. In this case, they will ignore him.

He would probably be wasting his time, talking with North Korea. Their agenda is set, and would only play him as best as they could.

  2. aljamo says:

Reminds me of the election cycle offering up two candidates nobody wants, government insiders or former military. Nixon by way of Eisenhower’s VP and RFK murder. Nixon reelected in 1972 over McGovern who was a far better choice imo. “I’m not a crook” tricky Dick pick Agnew sent packing for corruption. Replaced by Warren Commission member Gerald Ford who moved to president having never been elected there after Nixon left. Carter vs Ford in 1976, Carter vs Reagan in 1980 which was manipulated by the Iran hostage crisis to ensure Reagan’s win. The deal made for Iran to release the hostages immediately after the vote was final. This was poppy Bush and the CIA in complete control. The future agenda was set, the treasonous NWO’s greatest leap. Not an honest soul in the bunch right up to today.

    • Old Sailor says:

The hostages were released on inauguration day, not as soon as the vote was made final.

    • The Deplorable Braveheart says:

Aljamo, Nixon was a douchebag but McGovern would’ve been much worse. He was the Bernie Sanders of his time.

      • aljamo says:

Braveheart.. Nixon was pro war, McGovern was not. As far as the Bernie Sanders comparison to McGovern the latter did run on giving every American a $600 payment while Sanders proposal for single payer healthcare and free college education was never going to happen. Even George W. Bush gave $300 payments to much of America. McGovern was by far the better option which is why the entire establishment ridiculed his proposals. He would not have been thrown out like Nixon because he was an actual honest option.

  3. Accusing the Russians of changing votes is an insult to each and every American.

That’s like stating that Americans cannot discern a candidate’s lies from that which is true!

Nobody told me how to vote and nobody cast my vote but me.

If there was only an investigation into Hillary’s Uranium deal with the Russians, including Mueller’s alleged complicity with that, and into so many other things…

  4. Whitewater.

    Akancide.

Fellatio in the oval office. That was the hubby. She could enable the hell out of a block of wood.

Nobody should have guns, except her and her herd.

Accusing everybody of Bigotry, just to get her way. Like a 4 year old.

Benghazi, and oh yeah it does really damn matter.

Uranium one. Knew of this way well before the election as did many of you. So you can kind of……….. say………… the Russians did influence me on that point.

There is many, many more things, but I really don’t care to list them.

  5. swinging richard says:

The Russians did not change any votes. They did shoot us with our own gun.

  6. george says:

Rosalynn needs more billy beer with her cream corn and mashed yeast.
