Is War With North Korea Inevitable? – South Korea Planning Surgical Strike To Take Out Kim Jong-un

When you consider the possibility of war with North Korea, you’ll find that there isn’t any way that kind of conflict wouldn’t end without widespread mayhem. The worst case scenario would include a protracted ground war on the densely populated Korean peninsula, involving millions of combatants and the addition of chemical and nuclear weapons.

The absolute best case scenario, would probably involve the swift decapitation of the North Korean regime. But that could still result in millions of refugees fleeing from North Korea, and into the South and China. It could also cause a power vacuum, where opportunistic elements in the North Korean government could vie for control of the country, leading to a bloody civil war.

And in any scenario there is the possibility that China will come to the aid of its neighbor, which could be the first step towards another World War. There simply isn’t any way to remove the North Korean regime by force that doesn’t create a mess of mind boggling proportions, and result in massive casualties. That’s why it’s not a big surprise that the Kim family has maintained control of their country for so long.

However, that doesn’t mean that countries like South Korea, who would undoubtedly face the brunt of the North’s military during any hypothetical conflict, aren’t preparing to go take out the regime during an emergency. According to a South Korean newspaper which recently spoke to anonymous government officials, Seoul’s Joint Chiefs of Staff are currently drawing up plans to execute a surgical strike against North Korea, which would decapitate that nation’s leadership.

According to Munwha Ilbo, the plan mobilizes F-15 jets to target key operational command centers in the North, most notably “the windows of the office of the Chairman of the Labor Party, Kim Jong-un, at the Pyongyang Labor Party headquarters.” Unnamed military officials told the news outlet that “surgical” counter-strike plans were being drafted as early as March 31.

Moon has reportedly requested the creation of a new 1,000 to 2,000-person Special Forces brigade “to eliminate war leaderships” and “paralyze command facilities in case of emergency.”

The decision to draw up these war plans speaks volumes on how dire the situation with North Korea is. We know how disastrous any conflict with that country would be. The fact that the South’s leadership is considering this option despite the obvious consequences, suggests that they think war with their northern neighbor may be unavoidable.

    1. Justice says:

Isn’t another option to just arm South Korea and Japan with nuclear weapons?!?!

Tell China that if they don’t handle NK then both Japan and SK will become nuclear powers. That will light a fire under China!

      • durangokidd says:

“Is War With North Korea Inevitable?”

In a word: “YES” !!! And sooner rather than later. 🙁

      • Ching Chong Ding Dong says:

I love Japan and Korea, and I’m glad that they’re two of our closest allies, and I would fight for them the same as if they were my own statesmen here in the US (by contrast, I wouldnt fight for Germany or Sweeden, or California (not a real state).

That being said, I don’t think the option of giving nukes to either of those nations is a good idea. Nukes give a country a kind of impunity that cannot ever be retracted. Look no further than Turkey. NATO [supposedly] controls those nukes, but possession was key during the faked CIA coup attempt.

      • Fox contributor .. Dr Chas Krauthammer, made that suggestion re (Japan) at least one month back. However the addition of SK, would would, I think pretty much make it a stalemate.
        If not
Possibly inducing the ChiComs, to make a leadership change, in exchange for a pull back of the nukes..
So fitting, to be hoisted by one’s own petard !!

A quote from Shakespeare.. can’t make this stuff up, pun intended… see below.. meaning..

“Hoist with his own petard” literally means “blown up with his own mine.” More generally, a “petard” is a hat-shaped device which can be be charged with gunpowder.

        • Karl V. says:

Shakespeare actually wrote ‘petar’ — NOT ‘petard’.

‘Petar’ refers to flatulence, and could have been a vulgar pun on ‘petard’. Shakespeare was quite fond of doing that sort of thing…

      • Fox contributor, Dr Chas Krauthammer, suggested that re (Japan) at least one month back. However the addition of SK, could result in a stalemate, plus one for us.
Could also induce the ChiComs, to make a leadership change, in exchange for a pull back of the nukes..

For further edification on the word petard from dictionary.com:

Word Origin and History for petard Expand
          n.
1590s, “small bomb used to blow in doors and breach walls,” from French pétard (late 16c.), from Middle French péter “break wind,” from Old French pet “a fart,” from Latin peditum, noun use of neuter past participle of pedere “to break wind,” from PIE root *pezd- “to fart”. Surviving in phrase hoist with one’s own petard (or some variant) “blown up with one’s own bomb,” which is ultimately from Shakespeare (1605):

For tis the sport to haue the enginer Hoist with his owne petar (“Hamlet” III.iv.207).

I certainly did not learn this in my high school Latin class (or French class). LOL

      • KY Mom says:

I believe that North Korea’s “land based” missile sites will be destroyed. I think North Korea’s submarines also pose a threat to inflict damage.

North Korea carries out ‘unprecedented’ test of submarine missile system
“The US military is monitoring “highly unusual and unprecedented levels” of activity by North Korea’s submarine force, with reports of a series of successful “ejection tests” of submarine-launched ballistic missiles described by analysts as a “critical step forward”.

“Ejection tests from submarines usually gauge the ability to “cold launch” missiles, when high pressure steam is used to propel missiles out of launch canisters.”
        ht tp://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/08/01/north-koreas-submarine-missile-tests-critical-advance-highly/

The 10 Largest Submarine Fleets in the World
        From the list:
        Russia – 63 Submarines

        China – 69 Submarines

        United States – 72 Submarines

        North Korea – 78 Submarines
“All of North Korea’s submarines are diesel-electric and none of them displace more than 1800 tons. The potential danger of this force was demonstrated in 2010 when a small 130 ton sub of the Yono class sank the South Korean corvette Cheonan.

Nonetheless, it is largely considered to be a second-rate force made up of aging Soviet-era and smaller home-built coastal submarines.

The smaller North Korean submarines reportedly have very good shallow water abilities and would, in times of war, be used to lay mines, provide intelligence reports on enemy harbors and transport special-forces to enemy shores.

If the KPANF continues to expand its fleet of small submarines, don’t expect them to be bumped off the top of this list any time soon.”

    2. Justice says:

Now in related news, did we just declare war on Russia?

Yes! How long is Russia going to tolerate economic war! Who else can we pick a fight with? The world must really see the US as a bully.

      http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-08-02/russian-pm-medvedev-us-just-declared-full-blown-trade-war-russia

      • Old Sailor says:

Trump screwed the pooch on this one. He allowed the Dems and RINOs to back him into a corner with all the Russian BS. He had 2 choices – Veto it and appear to prove their charges of Russian collusion or sign a bad bill to prove them wrong. I think he made the wrong choice. He should have vetoed it and told the bastards to show proof of collusion or shut the hell up.

    3. The Deplorable Braveheart says:

Justice, unless the US goes ahead and gives Japan and South Korea some tactical nukes there’s no time for that option. At least the SKs and Japs are willing to do their own fighting, I’ll give them credit for that. I’m afraid if they make a unilateral move then under the defense treaty we have no choice but to jump in and help them. but I agree the nuke option should give the Chinese some extra incentive to put a leash on Porky.

      • Justice says:

Braveheart, what’s your take on the Nk situation. Is War With North Korea Inevitable?

The US position is clear, we will not accept a nuclear armed NK! If that’s true, then it’s war!

I have said that this is the modern day equivalent to the Cuban missile crises and I stand by that assessment.

        • The Deplorable Braveheart says:

Justice, you mention Cuban Missile Crisis, damn! I was only 5 years old when that took place. My older brother and I helped our Dad build a bomb shelter in our basement and stockpiled food, water, medical supplies, etc. in it. I’m now getting the same feeling I had back during that crisis and I don’t like it one bit. Unless China does something themselves, yes I’m sorry to say I see a war between us and NK inevitable but it will be far different from the one in the 50s. I’d rather see China do something themselves. They already have enough reasons to do so. But I’m not holding my breath on anything.

      • DeplorableBitterClinger says:

My dad said during his time in Korea during the last Korean war, the Americans often said “We’re supposed to be helping them, but I keep meeting them going the other way”

    4. Really Justice:

You want Japan to have “the bomb”. Didn’t we nuke them twice. I think you need to rethink that one. And wouldn’t having a stronger Asia really be counter-productive when the West is competing in other area, for example in South Africa should we take a stand there.

      _

      • Justice says:

B, England has the Bomb, didn’t we fight them a few times. At some point someone is your ally or they are not.

But I totally agree with you on South Africa! What has and is happening there is a tragedy that WE caused.

        • The Deplorable Braveheart says:

Justice, we only fought England ONCE and that was for our independence. What has happened in South Africa the US govt. is partially responsible for.

          • Justice says:

Braveheart, don’t forget the War of 1812.

            • The Deplorable Braveheart says:

Justice, you’re right, I forgot about that one. My mistake and I stand corrected.

            • Kevin2 says:

If the Federals lost Antietam England intended to recognize the Confederacy as “King Cotton” was vital for their textile mills. That would have been a game changer because the Royal Navy had the ability to break the Union blockade thus trading arms for cotton. History very well could have been greatly altered and with it the present.

One zig, one zag and what could have been wasn’t and what was, is. Survival, existence is often held by a most tenuous thread.

        • Justice:

Most of this is beyond my grade level. So, take my opinions with a grain of salt. I’m not accusing Japan of disloyalty. In fact I greatly admire these people. Your comparison to England has merit but it is not really equivalent.

When we fought England for Independence, we fought on our own soil. England did not actually lose their blood treasure as the British Army was mostly paid mercenaries from Germany. So many Germans were here after the American Revolution that Congress debated whether or not it wouldn’t be better to make German the official language of USA.

Not only did we nuke Japan, we put the American Japanese in concentration camps. Most were American citizens and most had/have extended family in Japan.

We have had allies become enemies more than once. We should, in my opinion, never have used the bomb. And now, we should be working to disarm not further escalate what was most likely the single most destructive invention in the history of mankind.

          _

China owns so much here, including stores where food is sold; any threat can be met with counter-threats. Imagine if China started sending millions of sick, mental cases, poor uneducated people. They have the capacity to utterly destroy us by sheer numbers.

I can not imagine President Trump seriously threatening China. The best thing loyal Americans can do for the USA is to buy American made products. We will pay one way or the other.

          _

          • The Deplorable Braveheart says:

B, good post, but you’ll be looking online for whatever American-made products are available and I don’t think there’s too many of those. Except for cars, I don’t know of any local sources for American-made goods.

          • Archivist says:

How will they physically get “millions” of Chinese over here?

          • Old Sailor says:

” Imagine if China started sending millions of sick, mental cases, poor uneducated people”. We could just respond by sending them all our liberals. They would destroy China in a few days. They have plenty of practice after destroying America.

      • Mark says:

I remember the headlines that Mandela was a savior for S. Africa.

        • The Deplorable Braveheart says:

Mark, you can google what I’m about to say, but I once saw a picture of Mandela, his wife Winnie, and Joe Slovo at a Communist Party rally in South Africa, circa early 90s I think. All three of them had their right fists raised, the commie salute. Joe Slovo was the chairman of South Africa’s Communist Party during that era. Mandela was another bloodthirsty commie POS. He’s burning in hell now. Exactly what he deserves.

    5. Ron Ahrens says:

They have to have cover for their LEGION of crimes coming to light as they always do in the recurring apocalypse, no other way out for them now but war as history repeats itself once again.

    6. Kevin2 says:

Swat NK test missiles out of the air over the Pacific. They learn from every test. Close the classroom, ignore their rhetoric.

    7. The Deplorable Braveheart says:

Kevin2, the only part of your idea I question is what can possible come from NK afterwards. I don’t think Porky will simply ignore one of his missiles being blown out of the sky by us. He will retaliate but the only question is how.

      • Kevin2 says:

        The Deplorable Braveheart

Maybe so but it won’t be with an operational nuclear weapon with enough reach to hit here. In the end the job of the US Military is to protect the USA. What he does, he does. Secondary it puts the US on a more moral high ground. Not that it has had significant importance other than its initial ostensible excuse.

        • The Deplorable Braveheart says:

Kevin2, whatever Porky does, we would have to retaliate with such severity that China and/or Russia won’t have a choice but to intervene. That’s what we should all be concerned about.

          • Kevin2 says:

Not necessarily. Russia will go to war for Russia’s survival. Economically strangle them and you can trigger shots firing. NK is a ghost from the past. Its not in either Russia’s or China’s interest for NK to possess such a weapon as they can be drawn into a war not to their choosing, timing or benefit. If NK loses a missile over the Pacific and attacks people in South Korea they have lost the moral high ground. This allows both China and Russia to stand aside assuming that the US reply is not too overboard and is perceived (or merely salable) as being defensive.

            • The Deplorable Braveheart says:

Kevin2, I sincerely hope you’re right. I’d still prefer to see China deal with it, but I have some doubts there.

              • Kevin2 says:

I been hoping to win Powerball too. China does lose a lot in event of hostilities because the refugee crisis would be of epic proportions.

NK’s goal is to shake the US down for money, oil and loans through the IMF. Its at the core of their Saber Rattling strategy. Its not working with this administration. NK isn’t crazy, they’re patient. While threatening to fire the first shot they won’t. In the meantime their posture is inflated to their people as the US keeps the people focused in unity and a measure of pride in country as they stand up to the evil capitalists. Its an old tune that is still popular there.

    8. crappenstix says:

Have to wonder about all the North Korean generals with medals from head to toe.
They must be boot-licker awards. NK has not fought any wars since 1953.

      • The Deplorable Braveheart says:

Crappenstix, I wouldn’t underestimate North Korean soldiers. They can and will put up one helluva fight. My 2 uncles who fought in Korea told me the only way to deal with a North Korean is shoot the bastard and be done with it. They are insane, along with the Chinese.

    9. aljamo says:

What happened to the antiwar movement? Anything anyone anywhere. People don’t believe it is in the plans or are too busy living their lives to care anymore because they know better than to voice too strong of an objection. The American people have their defense weapons while the entire system collapses around them, a lot of good those defences proved. 9-11 the cementing of the fascist police state final solution rendering citizens mute and powerless, accepting their fate facing the inevitable wipeout. Must be something in the food, drugs and water. Nobody has an answer or even a inkling of an idea of how to reverse the situation. What’s next? Further decline is all I see. People can’t really be this evil, or so I once thought.

      • Kevin2 says:

        aljamo

“What happened to the antiwar movement?”

Its intrinsically linked to the draft. “Hell no I won’t go” presupposes that they will draft you. For the most part war is not touching home unless you invite it in. The greater ramifications are far too complex for the masses to understand.

      • Yahooie says:

There is something in the food, drugs, and water. I won’t elaborate here beyond saying our food and water is far from being the best for us. Plenty of research out on the internet to read. And drugs? No need to go there. A lot that in our water too, unless you have your own well.

Mix all that with the current culture (consumerism) and everyday economic problems that most people must deal with (sometimes just to survive) and you will see that there is no energy leftover to deal with many large national problems. They don’t want to get in very deeply into problems they perceive as belonging to Washington DC.

    10. The Deplorable Braveheart says:

Aljamo, there are people who will accept that fate and others who will resist. I for one am part of the resistance. NWO will never take me alive.

    11. rellik says:

      I really want to see
      South Korea take care of
      an essentially Korean problem.
It will still leave the world with
a nuclear Korea, but it is what
it is. The Genie is out and
      you can’t put it back.
We all know that if we have a rabid
dog that it absolutely has to be
      dealt with.

    12. The Deplorable Braveheart says:

Rellik, the only cure for a rabid dog is a ‘mercy round’.

    13. Philosopher Deplorabilis says:

Sounds like a smart move. When? Surprised it hasn’t happened yet.

    14. Angel says:

I have someone on the front line in Korea and I pray every single night for his safety. To me this is what it has come to:
“Let’s set the record straight. There is no argument over the choice between peace and war, but there is only one guaranteed way you can have peace–and you can have it in the next second–surrender.

Admittedly there is a risk in any course we follow other than this, but every lesson in history tells us that the greater risk lies in appeasement, and this is the specter our well-meaning liberal friends refuse to face–that their policy of accommodation is appeasement, and it gives no choice between peace and war, only between fight and surrender. If we continue to accommodate, continue to back and retreat, eventually we have to face the final demand–the ultimatum. And what then? When Nikita Khrushchev has told his people he knows what our answer will be? He has told them that we are retreating under the pressure of the Cold War, and someday when the time comes to deliver the ultimatum, our surrender will be voluntary because by that time we will have weakened from within spiritually, morally, and economically. He believes this because from our side he has heard voices pleading for “peace at any price” or “better Red than dead,” or as one commentator put it, he would rather “live on his knees than die on his feet.” And therein lies the road to war, because those voices don’t speak for the rest of us. You and I know and do not believe that life is so dear and peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery. If nothing in life is worth dying for, when did this begin–just in the face of this enemy? Or should Moses have told the children of Israel to live in slavery under the pharaohs? Should Christ have refused the cross? Should the patriots at Concord Bridge have thrown down their guns and refused to fire the shot heard ’round the world? The martyrs of history were not fools, and our honored dead who gave their lives to stop the advance of the Nazis didn’t die in vain. Where, then, is the road to peace? Well, it’s a simple answer after all.

You and I have the courage to say to our enemies, “There is a price we will not pay.” There is a point beyond which they must not advance. This is the meaning in the phrase of Barry Goldwater’s “peace through strength.” Winston Churchill said that “the destiny of man is not measured by material computation. When great forces are on the move in the world, we learn we are spirits–not animals.” And he said, “There is something going on in time and space, and beyond time and space, which, whether we like it or not, spells duty.”

You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on Earth, or we will sentence them to take the last step into a thousand years of darkness. “–President Reagan

      • Justice says:

Angel, great post. If we allow the NWO to emerge we will face a 1000 years of repression and darkness. There are things worse than death and lines I will not cross.

I will remember to pray for our men and women serving in South Korea.

      • The Deplorable Braveheart says:

Angel, one of my cousins has a son somewhere in ROK who was due to rotate out of there in September but that may not happen now. Thank you for that old speech by Reagan. I will pray for our people in South Korea and the South Korean people.

        • Angel says:

          Deplorable Braveheart
Thank you so much for your prayers. I too will pray that God keeps your loved one safe. Like I told Justice I read your posts everyday and the posts you two and others make give me hope that I’m not alone. South Korea is not the place to be right now. The public is not aware how serious things are there. Thank you for your words of encouragement. Stay frosty my friend

You are quoting a psychopath puppet actor with dementia, who was just another tool of the NWO Luciferian psychopaths, I certainly hope you understand that FACT.

Is War With North Korea Inevitable? – South Korea Planning Surgical Strike To Take Out Kim Jong-un

They now know that South Korea may launch a surprise attack on Kim Jong-un!

Is War With North Korea Inevitable? Yes and thanks to leaked information like this, yes!

And if this post is creditable and that yo-yo up North believes it, war could be real soon.

      By the way?

How many of you have suddenly notice that now it is believed that North Korea could launch a missile to reach New York, now, when last week barely to Alaska?

    16. GETTING REAL says:

Nothing is going to happen N.K. has thousands of artillery pieces lined up on Seoul .

But I do think WW3 is about to happen by 2018

    17. Traitor Hator says:

Surgical strike? Why ? So we don’t hit his closest friends and their children. Let’s do nothing because one of Kim’s wives children might be injured or killed. Little rats are taught by their big rat parents to be big rats. It’s not their fault. So to make all the bimbos happy we will wait until they are 18 . If they don’t kill us all before they are 18.

    18. Richard Steven Hack says:

Yeah, like North Korea won’t see SK jets coming to bomb Kim…That’s a stupid plan. The only way to do that effectively is launch a sufficiently fast missile that he can’t be escorted to his – undoubtedly VERY DEEP – bunker under his palace.

They tried this stuff with Saddam back in 2003 – didn’t work. These guys know how to move around and survive.

Plus, killing Kim doesn’t remove the rest of the NK leadership.

      Again, stupid plan.

As for their new “Special Forces” brigade dedicated to this stuff, good luck with countering the 100-200,000 NK Special Forces that are already trained for this stuff.

Two of those guys escaped from a grounded NK sub in SK waters some years back. With the whole of the SK military and police looking for them, they stayed at large for 53 days and killed 11 of their pursuers. These boys are motivated.

I read your posts everyday. It is great to interact with like minded individuals. Thank you so much for your prayers. My son is in Korea and things are worse there than most people realize. You are right there are worse things than death. I will not go willingly into slavery. Stay frosty my friend

    20. TommyD says:

I am more worried about Syria and Iran being the next wars. Just like the 7 countries Wesley Clark blew the whistle about. NK is not on the list. Plus they are too strong. The US only fights weak small countries like Iraq and Libya. We are a disgrace.

    21. pocomotion says:

War with N. Korea will not EVER HAPPEN. Side show for Syria invasion to take out Iran.

      Never happen….
      Bank on it….
      Trust me….
      Truth ….

    22. Brian says:

Has anyone else noticed how thin the North Korean soldiers are? Even the high-ranking officers have uniforms that hang on them. Only Kim jong Un appears fat.

Its disgusting how little coverage is given to assaults on Christians in the third world. Let some Muslim immigrant be mistreated in America and they would cover it for days!

    23. Justice says:

This is an interesting compilation of recent news regarding NK.

I sent both of you a comment hours ago but neither of them are showing up. Thank you so much for your prayers and I will keep your loved ones in my prayers too. I don’t think the public realizes just how serious the situation is in Korea. My son is there so I know how bad it’s getting. I want you two to know I read your comments everyday and it gives me hope that I’m not alone. You’re right there are some things worse than death and I’ll never go willing into slavery. Your video is accurate. Thank you for your words of encouragement. Stay frosty my friends

Another day on the dirty ball of free-range inmates.

Extra butter on the popcorn? Anyone?

    25. Beaumont says:

We are describing this in terms of war, with a starving hermit nation, when they are a protectorate, of a larger East Bloc.

Is war with China, Russia, and BRICS inevitable.
